NASSA,SHIELD RESEARCH FACILITY. May 12/ 2012

"Dr Selvig, what can you tell me about the problems you are having with the Tesseract." A man said. This man was Nick Fury. Standing beside him was agent Barton A.K.A Hawkeye.

An older man with gray balding hair answered, "Every time we turn off the Tesseract, she turns herself back on. On top of that she's releasing Energy pings as if it were a beacon." Dr Selvig said as he was observing from the computer screens.

Fury turned his attention from the Tesseract to Selvig. " A beacon? Are you saying the Tesseract is calling something." Fury said. He was worried but he didn't allow it to show on his face.

"No, more like Someone is Trying locate it. The Tesseract acts more like a door and with the amount of energy the Tesseract is producing right now, we could be looking into something similar to when Ms. Zor el arrived here." Selvig said grimly.

Before Fury could speak, the Tesseract flared and the lights in the room began blinking. The Tesseract flared once again and shot out a blue beam of light that emitted a blue smoky portal. Everyone in the tensed as they waited for whatever to emerge from the portal. "This is Fury, activate the T-1 Sentinels." As Fury finished, 2 sections of the ceiling opened up and 2 8 foot tall robots dropped down. The T-1 Sentinels looked more like bulky and more robotic versions of the Iron Man suit. In center part of the chests there was the power source but instead of the arc reactor it was powered by the Tesseract.

Fury didn't want to have to use the Prototype Sentinels, they were only posed to be used for extreme threats such as rouge threats such as Omega level threats. A bit Overkill but it was necessary for protecting earth from unknowns.

As everyone was watching the portal, they all noticed 2 figures step out of the portal. A male and female both tall. The male was dressed in what appeared to green and gray armored robes and in his hands appeared to be a scepter with a glowing gem in the middle. The man had a handsome features with shoulder length hair. His eyes were a light blue color. The man was tall, almost 6'8 and Fury knew that this man would be trouble for him and his agents. Now he was glad he decided to use the Sentinels. When Fury turned his eyes to look at the Woman who was wearing a mask, he paused once noticed a symbol on her chest. A very familiar symbol they his heart jump as he looked at the woman who might be related to the most powerful teenager on the planet.

The Woman was around 6'3 with Blonde curly hair that went past her shoulders. She wore an advanced face mask with a miniature S symbol in the middle of the forehead. The armor she wore was black and looked to be made for mobility. The gauntlets on her arms were silver as well as her boots and belt. In the middle of her chest was the familiar red S symbol within a red diamond along with a red cape in the back.

Everyone was tense and ready for fight. "Sir, please put down scepter." Fury yelled out, hoping that they were at least here to talk.

The man looked at his scepter that back at Fury then fired an energy blast at him. Seeing this Hawk tackled Fury out of the way. The beam hit an agent that was behind and he promptly vanished. The Sentinels raised their hands to fire at the man, only for one robot to be cut in two by a red hot laser from the woman. The second sentinel fired a repulsor at the woman, only for her to dodge and fly at the sentinel and punching right through the middle destroying it.

As the woman turned to see the man fighting the rest of the men, she turned her up towards the ceiling and began looking through it to see 6 more sentinels outside. Turning back to man who was done fighting, "Get the Tesseract." Was all she said before rocketing up and punching through the ceiling like it was paper.

Outside, Shield agents were running about preparing to go back down into the facility when there was a loud explosion as a figure came flying out of the ground and into the first sentinel, uppercutting it, causing her arm to go through. As the remaining 5 began taking aim, the woman's masked eyes began to glow, spinning around the woman lasered the 5 sentinels, slicing them in half.

The agents on the ground to open fire but the woman ignored them and began moving towards one of the down sentinels. Ignoring the gunfire, she picked up one of the downed sentinels and threw it at the on coming helicopter. The sentinel hit helicopter, causing it to spin and crash into the building. On the ground multiple agents began retreating, as they did the woman looked down to see a truck with a couple of Shield agents and loki driving out of a tunnel. Flying down and landing in the back of the truck, the Woman looked at Loki.

"Did you get the Tesseract." She demanded. Loki in reply, smiled and showed her a case then revealed the Tesseract. "And this will get me and my daughter home." The Woman asked.

Loki still smiling answered, "That is correct Mrs. Zor El. It would be tricky, but I'm sure he would be able to get you home."

The Woman's mask retracted to show a familiar blonde. "Good." But she looked at loki and glared, eyes glowing red. "If that purple bastard doesn't hold up his end of the deal. I will kill him."

Loki stared at her for a moment then smirked "I don't doubt that."

Fury looked around and saw the aftermath of a being capable of untold destruction. The way she destroyed the sentinels with contemptuous ease was frightening to someone like him.

In that moment Nick made a choice, he pulled a device out of his pocket he always carried. He looked at it for moment than released a sigh and activated the communicator. A red and blue image with gold star in the middle appeared on the screen.

Fury waited a moment then he heard a voice speak to him with concern. "Nick, is something wrong?" The voice that spoke to was female and sounded young.

"Carol, I need your help. Earth needs your help." Fury said.

"..."

There wasn't a response right away and Fury worried that she probably couldn't help them right now, but his worries were dashed away when he heard her reply.

"I'm on my way."

Fury smiled as she hung up. He deactivated the communicator and looked around for Coulson.

"Coulson, I need you to call them in."

Coulson looked Surprised and voiced his thoughts, "Are you sure sir."

Fury didn't look at Coulson, still looking off in the distance where loki and the Woman escaped, "It's time to activate the Avengers initiative.
