A/N: Triple update. And as promised, I'll give a hint as to how to decipher the messages: '1-1-9-1-8-1' translates as 'Kira'

February 25th, 2056

With the news of the fanatics storming the football stadium spreading like wildfire, Sakura TV sent its news chopped to get fist-hand footage of the incident. Yes, they will have higher ratings because more ratings meant more Kira followers and they wanted to get on Kira's good side, especially with this whole debacle going down. They kept their distance but they used the best video cameras they could get their hands on, the most expensive cameras they already had their hands on.

Inside the stadium, the experience is something the people watching through the footage could even experience. Sakura Kato cowers behind the bodyguard while the armed men fight off the fanatics outside the safe room. She hides behind a couch and quickly pulls the bodyguard down with her. "Please, get down!"

BANG!

The door echoes with the sound of a baseball bat striking it like the crack of a whip. It is followed shortly by another banging sound. Kato cowers behind the couch again and puts her hands over her head, blocking out the gunshots that snap off after the door takes a few more hits with the baseball.

"Please, oh god, I don't want to die!"

"You're not going to die," the bodyguard promises. "Don't worry, you will survive. Come on, stay down. Stay the fuck down." He pulls her to her knees and puts his arms on her. He takes out his phone. "Homebase, homebase, I need a helicopter. Requiring immediate extraction, over, right away."

"I copy, sir, don't worry, I've already relayed orders to SAT troops; they're sending a helicopter to your location. ETA ten minutes."

"Excellent. Keep me updated." He snaps his phone shut. "Okay, a helicopter is coming to pick us up. Don't worry, we'll be fine. Just keep your head down, okay?"

Kato nods and continues to keep her head down while occasionally grabbing her bodyguard and pulling him behind cover.

Outside the safe room, the armed bodyguards are quickly overwhelmed and beaten to death by the baseball bat wielding fanatics. Afterward trying to knock the door down, they turn their attention to the heavily armed police tactical unit coming after them.

"Put the baseball bats down!" the first troop shouts.

"Drop the weapons or I'll drop you!"

The fanatics outnumber the SAT troops five to one but even so, the troops hold their guard, determined to fulfill their duties. When the fanatics refuse to listen to reason, the troops are forced to fire. Several fanatics drop dead while others manage to spring toward the troops and swing at them. The troops fight back and set the fanatics on equal footing in terms of numbers and combat abilities by cutting down a few more of their numbers.

One of the fanatics got serious and bit into the hands of one of the troopers. The trooper headbutts the fanatic with his helmet before tossing him inside. He shoves him to the ground and puts handcuffs on him while his comrades deal with the others.

A few minutes later, more fanatics enter the stadium while more troops also enter the line. That's when the sound of a helicopter's propellers from outside rings throughout the building. The troops remember their mission and quickly call in reinforcements. They hold the line until two dozen more troops arrive and thin out the number of these ferocious fanatics. They quickly incapacitate as many baseball bat psychos as they can before making a beeline for the saferoom. They knock on the door.

"SAT troops, here for Sakura Kato!"

The bodyguard opens the door and helps escort Kato outside. When the fanatics see Kato, their anger rises and almost like they're possessed by a creature, they snap at the troopers and nearly overpower them. That's when a riot suppression squad came in and each one carried a riot shield. They quickly got Sakura Kato behind the shields and transported her to the roof. The fanatics refused to give up without a fight and clawed their way to Sakura Kato like a starving pack of hyenas.

Even the guttural growling sounds they made reminded Kato of animals.

After making it up the stairs, they made it to the roof of the stadium where the helicopter was waiting at the very edge of the stadium. The riot suppression continues to hold the crowd back but things escalate when one of them steals a firearm from a dead trooper and fires at the riot squad. The riot squad yanks the pins off of smoke and tear gas grenades and lobs them. The fanatics back away, coughing and vomiting in a smokescreen of gray smoke with some of them losing their footing and falling down the stairs.

Sakura Kato quickly jumps over the edge of the roof and lands in the chopper. She turns to her companion. "Come on, get in, please!"

The bodyguard leaps in.

"Get us out of here!"

The pilot nods before lifting off.

The bodyguard looks out the side of the helicopter and smirks gleefully as the stadium disappears into the distance. After the stadium shrinks enough in size, he turns back to Sakura Kato and sits beside her.

"Thank you for being concerned for my safety." He rests his elbows on his lap. "You know, any other client, they would've left me to die but no, not you. You actually came back for me and for that, I thank you."

Sakura Kato sits with her feet on the seat and her knees on her chest. She hugs her knees and rocks forward. "I didn't do any of that stuff. Please, you have to believe me."

"I believe you, Ms. Kato. As a faithful follower of Kira myself, I know he would never do something like this. I trust you, I believe you. Listen, just worry about yourself."

"Can you get me back to my family?"

"Of course." He turns to the pilot and tells him the address of the safe house. "The pilot's going to take you there now." He takes his seat again. "So, are you throwing in the towel, ma'am?"

"Huh?"

"Are you done being Kira's spokesperson?"

Sakura Kato looks at the bodyguard fearfully... before her facial slowly morphs into something else, something determined. "Hell no, I am not done being Kira's spokesperson. Someone sabotaged that prompter, someone made a fake criminal profile of me. Someone... someone is trying to turn me against the Kira followers. Somebody doesn't like me as Kira's spokesperson. But, whoever this person is, they don't have Kira's power so they can't manipulate me. And I know Kira will back me up. I will not give up my fucking position." She stands over the bodyguard, almost glaring at him but he knows that glare isn't for him. "Kira gifted me with the position to be his spokesperson and I will fulfill my fucking duty because I believe in Kira."

"And if something like this happens again?"

"It won't because I will contact Kira somehow tonight and I will explain everything to him."

The bodyguard nods. "The fact that Kira hasn't killed you right now proves he's willing to hear you out."

"He will hear me out because I've been nothing but loyal to him." She sits down and manages to calm herself. "By the way, I never did get your name. What was it?"

The bodyguard smiles. "Archer Yagami."

With Rain

"Glad I didn't bet on an away game today," Rain snarks as the football stadium chaos dies down. She steps away from the screen before heading to her cubicle. She takes her phone and calls her brother. "Archie, hey, bow and arrow boy, how's it going?"

"Ahh, sister, always glad you call to 'rain' on my parade."

"Are you okay?"

"Don't worry, this archer is alive and well."

"Good, because finding a replacement brother is going to be a hassle."

"Ahh, I'm sure my twin brother would agree."

"Where's Angels?"

"Ahh, he's right here, you want to say hi?"

"Nah, I'll save my greetings to angels when I go to Heaven."

"Hahaha."

"When are you coming home? Because I go so much to talk to you about?"

"Soon. In fact, we're on our way home."

"Good. I'll see you tonight."

"And you're cooking our favorite."

"In your dreams."

"Don't worry, you cook for me in your dreams."

"Because you can't cook for shit, even in your worst nightmares."

Later That Night

Rain opens the door and pauses suddenly. Her twin brothers, Archer and Angel Yagami, stand before her, each one smiling though Angel's smile is genuine to Arcehr's smug smile.

"Come on in." She blinks morse code to them.

'Cameras'

They blink back.

'Shit'

The twins step in back and close the door behind them. Rain leads them to the kitchen and lays out several rolls of sushi before them. She hands them chopsticks before pulling chairs out for them. Without saying anything, they look at each other and begin talking.

"I saw you on the news today. Very brave work." Rain blinks again.

'You're in the blindspots. Look at me when you talk'.

The twins nod.

Angel looks at her sister.

Angel: How long have there been cameras?

Rain: Always have been cameras, someone just turned them on.

Gintik Hagmay materializes before them. "She's right. I searched and there were several cameras turned on. Ever since Kira vanished a few times, several household appliances have been fitted with cameras but they can only be accessed with codes that only the PM has access to and the PM requires extremely specific circumstances to unlock the cameras."

Rain stabs at her sushi. "I don't have to ask about that whole Kira fiasco, right?"

"Right, we saw." Angel nods. "What do you think happened?"

"I heard," Archer begins. "I heard from the horse's mouth herself. Not to call my client a horse, obviously. But she said that she was set up. She said that she doesn't have a criminal record and she never abused her family."

"Defamation," Rain hisses. "J. Jonah Jameson's favorite kind of slander."

Rain: I think the cameras have been hacked.

Archer: What makes you say that?

Rain: The data system in police stations is compromised. Same with Facebook profiles and prompter at Sakura TV.

"Yeah, if only it was a fictional concept," Archer snarks. "But sadly, we live in the real world where things we wish were fake are real."

Rain looks at the TV. "By the way, impressive work. I know I said it already but impressive work."

Rain: There's a hacker, an extremely advanced hacker.

Archer smiles and turns to his twin. "See, I told you bodyguarding was the perfect calling for me. And I gotta say, it certain pains when most of my clients are girls."

Archer: Who?

Angel shivers. "Different strokes for different folks."

Angel: How can it be a hacker? If they're hacking, they'll be traced instantly.

"Different folks with different strokes." Rain stabs at her sushi roll.

Rain: Well, no, maybe not a hacker, more like a ghost.

Rain looks at her brother. "How does your girlfriend feel about you having a lot of female clients?"

Archer laughs. "Oh, she's fine. She knows I won't do anything because I gave her permission to upload my name and face on the internet so Kira can kill me if she suspects me of cheating."

Archer: What kind of ghost?

"I make sure things don't go too far," Angel assures them.

Angel: Are you talking about a bug in the system? A virus?

Rain looks at them with a serious look. "I'll hold you both to it."

Rain: Artificial intelligence. And I have a theory on who it is.

Angel nods. "And... because I'm such a good little brother, I'll make sure you hold us to it as well."

Archer and Angel: Who?

Rain: 888.
