Inkaliber: Welcome back! It's time for another exciting look into Keira's adventure! The Tournament has only just begun and there are some fun matches to be seen. With mysteries and chaos around every corner, who knows what could happen? Any comments before I… Wayde, why is that Saibamen dressed like you?
Deadpool: I'm calling him Wayde Jr! He's actually a good kid! I'm gonna put him through college.
Zemrocku: Hmm… Does he bite or scratch out eyes?
Deadpool: Only if he doesn't get his water. Then again, who wouldn't start throwing hands if they really need water? Dehydration's a killer too.
Zemrocku: RIGHT. Ink, I think I'll take the little guy for a walk.
Inkaliber: If you do, not anywhere where people can get hurt. There's a reason I keep these guys around and it's not to play dress up… although an evolved Saibaman story could be fun. Probably as a short story.
Deadpool: See! He's just brimming with potential! So, where are we going?
Zemrocku: Oh, just outback. Nothing big.
Inkaliber: …I'll let Zem reap whatever consequences he sows unless it hurts one of the others. Hope no one's outback… Anyway, let's answer some reviews!
Fregreg- Thanks! I figured it would be good to give Keira closure and what better way for a Saiyan than a fight? Tarble was always planned, lol!
Some1call4MR-E- Indeed it is Tarble. You'll see his personality soon enough. Things with the glow and her memories will be interesting, I can promise that.
Inkaliber: That's everything so let's get started! We don't own Dragon Ball in any form. That exclusive right goes to Akira Toriyama himself, rip. We do own original characters, locations, and concepts unless stated otherwise.

The crowd cheered loudly, eagerly awaiting the next bout of the World Martial Arts Tournament. After having an epic battle involving a near accident, a powerful display of skill, and the defeat of a previous Tenkaichi, the people were hungry for more. As such, the announcer quickly went to work getting monks to clean and fix up the broken areas of the ring so that the next fight could begin. The monks used a form of magic to reconstruct the ring, though it took many of them to perform the spell quickly and effectively. Keira sighed as she walked out of the bathroom, adjusting her gi before stretching a bit.
"Stupid mate playing stupid tricks," growled the monkey girl. "If he pulls that in the ring I'm taking him no matter who's winning the match. I'll let the WHOLE world see it and I don't care if Launch punishes me for it." She walked towards a small table with water bottles on it, narrowing her eyes as Whis "suddenly" appeared in her peripheral vision. She picked up one of the bottles, taking a big chug of it.
She then grabbed another before turning around. "Whis." The angel nodded his head, a soft yet unreadable smile on his face.
"Lady Keira," greeted the man. "Oh, or would you prefer Lady West?" The Saiyan growled at this, pointing at the man.
"You're so dramatic. I don't even know who that is even if she's supposed to be me. I'm Keira, no matter what other memories decide to pop up. Get it memorized and stop with the Lady stuff." Whis's smile grew slightly as he bowed his head.
"As you wish, Lady Keira." The Saiyan's growl only caused the man to let loose one of his infamous laughs. Keira then looked away, her eyes narrowing.
"So… Who was she and what was that pink monster thing she was fighting?" The man frowned at the mention of the monster, the look spooking the Saiyan a bit.
"She was like Wairu, in the sense that she was a Supreme Kai. She was the Supreme Kai of the West. As for the monster, he was known as Majin Buu. The creature was sealed away five million years ago, so you have no need to worry about it." Keira looked down, her tail loosening as the tension she felt in the air dropped.
"I…I don't understand any of this. First it was my special magic stuff, then I find out about my Saiyan heritage, then I find out I'm the monster that killed my grandfather even if I didn't have any control or memory of it, and now I got some Kai lady's memories all scrunched up in my head." Whis smiled, tilting his head.
"Life is always full of mysteries, even for someone like me. We will never stop discovering new things about ourselves and the world around us. Just be happy that this is all happening in a safe environment because I can assure you there are worse ways and places to discover things such as this. In time you will remember the rest of the memories, whether it be in as little as a week or as long as a year, and eventually everything will make sense to where you can look back on these peaceful moments and smile. Enjoy your youth while it's here and cherish your life."
The man turned around, a soft sigh leaving his mouth. "Things only become more complicated as you grow older, even for those who live forever." Keira looked away, taking a sip of her third water bottle. As this was happening, Krillin could be seen taking deep breaths while waiting for his match to begin. He felt his body tense up for a moment, only to take another breath as energy that threatened to leave him flowed through his body like a river.
"It would seem you have a basic understanding of ki control, even if it could use some work," stated the voice of Jackie Chun. Krillin glanced back at the old man, taking another deep breath. "I would recommend focusing on using that Ki in your fist and use it to make a thin barrier around your body. It can help make you stronger and tank hits, especially since there are known Ki users in the tournament. There's more you can use Ki for and learn, but the basics can still mean the difference between victory and defeat." The monk looked forward, smirking as he took a deep breath.
"Why are you helping me?" questioned the boy. "Not that I'm ungrateful but you're a contestant too." Jackie Chun hummed at this, shaking his head.
"Because you have no control of your ki. If you are going to be using it willy-nilly, then someone has to make sure you're not going to hurt yourself and others with it. Trust me when I say it can hurt you if you aren't careful. Even old Muten Roshi himself ran into that issue once, or so I've heard." The boy looked back, his brow quirking as he took a moment to scratch his hair.
"Really? How so?" The old man made a small ball of ki in his hand, displaying it to the boy.
"Should you use too much ki, it will become sick. You will either find your ki nonresponsive or it could flare up on its own, causing harm to you or others around you. Story has it that Muten tried to impress a young woman for five days straight and an outburst of ki ended up killing her and almost took him with her. Ki isn't a toy you play with or use recklessly: it's a tool, an extension of oneself. If you play with it, then expect it to get sick."
Krillin looked down at his hands, letting loose a hum. "While Ki can get stronger the more you use it, much like a muscle, it can also be strained like a muscle. If you don't use it, then it grows weak and frail. You must exercise it, pushing its boundaries without pushing too far." Krillin clenched his fists, slowly looking up.
"Say, You sound familiar. Who…" He looked up, only to notice that the old man had wandered off. "Darn it." He looked forward again, frowning as he felt a presence that annoyed him soon approach to his left.
"I have been looking forward to our battle," stated the voice of Tarble. The tailed boy nodded his head towards Krillin. "You have a dominant aura to you, much like the girl you cling to. I wonder if you will be able to keep your place next to her." Krillin glared lightly towards the Saiyan, taking a deep breath.
"I wonder if you'll be able to tell the whole truth, because I saw the look in your eyes when you talked to us," stated the furry monk. "You held in how much you knew about something, and I could tell you hated it. You know about what both of you are: you know about the Saiyans. You have the same wave in your tail so I know I hit the nail somewhere." Tarble looked forward, frowning as he nodded his head.
Krillin then rolled his shoulder, his eyes narrowing. "So, Tarble, who are you really?" The pureblood saiyan boy cracked his neck a bit.
"You could say I police the galaxy, at least after the destruction of my home planet. Keira is a rather unique case, seeing as she's the last female of my kind left. I would not mind her as a mate. With that in mind, I wonder how hard you'll fight for her." A growl escaped Krillin's throat, only for him to take a deep breath as he looked forward.
"You're about to find out the painful way. It's thanks to Keira that I'm the guy I am today. If I have to use everything I know about your people against you, I will. I WILL win." He could feel Tarble grin at him, the crowd cheering outside.
"ALRIGHT!" cried the voice of the announcer. "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, WE HAVE REACHED THE SECOND MATCH OF THE QUARTER FINALS! TWO NEWCOMERS READY TO FACE OFF AND PROVE THEY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO MOVE ON TO THE SEMIFINALS! FIRST, HAILING FROM THE ORIN TEMPLE, UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF MASTER MUTEN ROSHI, HE MAKES HIS FIRST DEBUT IN THE TENKAICHI! LET'S HEAR IT FOR KRILLIN!"
The monk slowly walked out, taking in the crowd's cheers as he kept his eyes closed. He felt a set of eyes stuck on him, knowing exactly who they belonged to. He came to a stop as the announcer nodded his head. "AND NOW, FROM THE TUTELAGE OF KING CHAPPA TEMPLE, WE HAVE TARBLE!" Yamcha gulped at this, leaning back a bit in shock.
"Ah man!" cried the wolf warrior. "If this guy learned from King Chappa, Krillin's in a bind. King Chappa is the previous champion from five years ago. To be given permission to enter the tournament from that man…" Keira narrowed her eyes, noticing Krillin's stance.
"Krillin will win," stated the Saiyan girl. This earned her confused looks from her companions. Yamcha tilted his head, a frown on his face.
"For real? He might not be a shortstack anymore but his opponent is basically a guy version of you." Keira shook her head, not even looking towards the older boy.
"Tarble isn't as invested as Krillin is, even if he is taking this seriously. Krillin's posture says he's completely focused and ready for the fight. Tarble is too relaxed, as if he thinks his training and Saiyan heritage will win him the battle. He's not taking this seriously enough. No matter how hard Tarble fights, he's already lost."
She then looked towards Yamcha, growling in anger. "HEY! WHAT DO YOU MEAN A GUY VERSION OF ME!? I LOOK NOTHING LIKE HIM!" The former bandit chuckled nervously as he waved his hands in defense.
"Well, you know. He's… what you are and has a tail. He also looks crazy strong so…" He jerked back as the monkey girl looked ready to attack, only for her to take a deep breath. She turned away from him with a huff.
"I'm a Saiyan, not something random. Two saiyans aren't the same just because they both have tails. That would be like saying that two humans are the same as each other just because they have hair. See if I ever cook for you again!" Yamcha paled at this, the world cracking around him before Bulma shook him.
"Settle down you two!" roared the genius. "It's about to start!" Keira huffed at this, looking down as both fighters slowly entered their fighting stances. Krillin narrowed his eyes, his pupils focusing as his hair stood on end. The announcer chopped at the air, nodding his head.
"BEGIN!" cried the voice of the man. Krillin suddenly dodged, avoiding an attack from Tarble. He dodged a few more times, mimicking how he would fight with Keira when she ever became unfocused. He grabbed Tarble's arm before flinging him forward, letting go as the saiyan boy landed on his feet. The monk then took the moment to kick his opponent in the back, sending him flipping a bit before he caught himself again.
The boy resumed dodging, knowing that his opponent would either swap tactics or begin to tire at some point. Saiyans had amazing stamina, but they could still tire out just like a human. The key was to goad them to keep attacking, something he knew would be dangerous if he made Tarble angry. He jumped up as he landed on the Saiyan's arm, kicking him square in the face before jumping off. He landed away from Tarble as he turned around, noticing the excited smile on the boy's face.
"I knew you would be a thrilling opponent," stated the tailed boy. "Of everyone on this planet so far, only Chappa could keep up with me like this. We aren't even using our full capabilities yet. If you're this strong, then I can only imagine the strength of Keira. Ever since I heard of a tailed girl during my travels, I had hoped she would be drawn to this competition like I was." Krillin clenched his fists, nodding his head.
"Not Master Chappa? Guess that means you didn't fully train with him." The Saiyan chuckled at this, shaking his head.
"I've been on this planet for two years as I was assigned, so I had time to kill. His techniques were rather interesting but I never fully went into his training. Of course, many months ago my training went on hold. I had heard of a girl with a tail in the Ox Kingdom, feeling a need to investigate. Back then she had been identified as Son Milla, renowned for her connection to a renowned warrior."
Tarble then rolled his shoulders, nodding his head. "As part of the Galactic Patrol, it's my duty to report any Saiyans. They saved my life after all, despite my race. In return, I became part of their ranks." Krillin readied his stance, his eyes narrowed.
"This is good and all but we have a fight to get to," reminded the monk. "The people are gonna start getting angry, especially Keira, if all we do is talk." Tarble chuckled at this, nodding his head.
"Of course. I am thankful you didn't take advantage of my distracted state. That would have been embarrassing." The monk nodded his head in response. Yamcha growled at this, crossing his arms.
"What's he doing?" moaned the former bandit. "The dude had the perfect opportunity to do his opponent in! Sure they never took their eyes off each other but he had him distracted! The fight could have ended right then and there." Keira looked towards Yamcha with a huff, only for Jackie Chun to approach them.
"Krillin clearly has better eyes than you do," stated the strange old man. "Look at his opponent's tail." The group did as told, Yamcha huffing in annoyance.
"What are you talking about? It's just swinging around." Keira nodded her head in response.
"Exactly. Tarble's letting his guard down. Krillin's trying to lure him into a false sense of security so that he can grab the tail later. It's the best way for someone who isn't as strong as a Saiyan to beat a Saiyan. Yamcha then snickered, looking towards the girl.
"Wait… Is that how Krillin beat you in that fight? The one that's got you chasing after him like a schoolgirl." Keira clenched her fists, anger clearly in her eyes.
"Yamcha, you're getting on my nerves. I'm not chasing Krillin like a Schoolgirl. He's my mate and he's a strong mate. I don't want someone that can't protect himself. Until Krillin's defeated, he's the best mate I'll ever get." Bulma placed her hands on her hips, a knowing smile on her face.
"Speaking of schoolgirls, we need to get you in an actual school once the tournament's over. I doubt Roshi has educated you and, while Launch has done a great job, I'm sure you could have better teachers. After all, you can't make fighting your entire life. You won't be able to make money and living off the land isn't going to help you with a family. From what I've seen you're a quick learner so it shouldn't be that bad." Keira rolled her eyes, looking away.
"No. I can learn on my own and I have the fabrication gun if I need to make something. Saiyan's are all about battle so it IS what I want to do in life. I eat, sleep, and breathe fighting. To say I can't make fighting my life is an insult." She gritted her teeth when she felt the smirk of the genius on her.
"That technology won't last forever, Keira. Besides, the Saiyans had architecture and technology so fighting wasn't their ENTIRE life. One of these days you're going to need important knowledge and you won't have it because you never took the time to learn. How do you expect to keep that big head of yours active when you can't fight, like when you're pregnant." Keira looked down, humming to herself.
"But school's gonna be like those boring shows where the kids sit at desks all day and listen to someone talk away while they can't do anything but listen. If I don't keep training or slow down I'll lose all my progress." The Ox King patted his stomach as he walked over, shaking his head.
"Mi-Keira, if I know Master Roshi, you likely have plenty of days where you aren't training at all. I'm sure you can take time out of them to learn a thing or two. You can always turn community service into another form of job. A real martial artist can continue training while on the job." Keira growled at this, unable to find an argument but still not liking the idea of being stuck in a seat all day.
As this conversation was going on, Krillin and Tarble clashed with each other. The monk of the duo used the momentum from the collision of their arms to spin around the tailed boy, kicking him in the back of the head. He then leapt off the Saiyan's back, spiraling a bit as he landed on the ground. He clenched his fists when he heard a growl from his opponent, knowing that he was beginning to tick him off. Tarble suddenly turned around, forming a ball of energy in his hand.
Gyumao's eyes widened in shock and terror. "That boy knows how to channel Ki!? That attack could seriously hurt Krillin, even if it's not as powerful as the Kamehameha. That boy's in for a tougher fight than I realized." Keira looked up again, folding her arms.
Krillin weaved as quickly as possible, watching the ball of energy singe his clothes before crashing into the wall around the stadium. The boy took deep breaths, knowing full well how close the battle had almost come to an end. Keira hummed, tilting her head.
"So, Ki can burn clothes. Good to know~." Her surrogate uncle shook his head, a serious frown on his face.
"If it is dense enough, then it can destroy anything. To do that, however, requires much skill and concentration. With practice, you can use Ki in ways that boggle the mind. Some have learned to duplicate body parts while others duplicate themselves and even fly but, in its purest form, Ki is a destructive energy." Keira looked down at her hands, being reminded of the energy beam she could unleash in her true form.
She looked forward again, watching as Krillin was having to place his dodges and blocks more carefully. Tarble looked like he was reaching the limit of his patience, though he also looked to be getting slower. The saiyan boy took deep breaths, continuing to fight to try and land a finishing blow. Krillin kept his eye on his opponent, his eyes narrowed as he took his own deep breaths. The saiyan girl spectating the fight narrowed her eyes in judgment.
'Krillin has an opening for his tail. He just has to take it. Why is he still hesitating? There has to be something he sees that I'm missing because he could have ended this two moves ago.' The bald boy on the ground dodged another strike, watching the way his opponent's tail wagged.
'He knows that I can read him by his tail,' thought Krillin. 'He's making it look like he's tired so he can try and catch me off guard. I have to make the opening myself if I want to ensure victory. Otherwise, one hit from him in this state could put me out for the count.' He heard his opponent chuckle, a grin on his face.
"From the looks of things, Keira is going to be mine," stated the saiyan boy. "All you can do is dodge. I had hoped you would be an actual warrior, but now I understand how you can read me so well. After all, who better to sniff out a lie than a coward." Krillin clenched his fists, feeling his anger well up in him until he heard a voice in his head.
"I would recommend focusing on using that Ki in your fist and using it to make a thin barrier around your body," said the voice of Jackie Chun. "It can help make you stronger and tank hits, especially since there are known Ki users in the tournament." Krillin took another deep breath, reaching for the energy that would usually try to flare out of him in his anger. He watched Tarble move at a speed he hadn't shown before, a sign that he was through playing. The bald boy felt the energy flow rapidly through him in an attempt to escape, giving it an outlet as his fist glowed.
"Get it through that thick skull of yours," growled the boy. The energy flared around him like an orange flame, a spiral of ki floating just above the back of his fist. "She. Is. MINE!" The boy threw his fist out, the energy surging at his opponent swirling not at Tarble but behind him.
The Saiyan cried out a bit as the attack then curled around and twisted his tail, a bare spot being made. Krillin then ran forward and grabbed the tail, clenching it tightly. Tarble felt very weak at this hold, falling onto the ground as a knee was pressed against his back.
"And Krillin has Tarble in a pin!" cried the man. "Start the count!" The people in the stadium followed the announcer in counting towards ten, the sounds being drowned out for Keira. Her tail wagged as a blush formed on her face, the sight of the squirming Saiyan underneath Krillin making her sigh as she leaned onto a guard rail with her head laid flat on her arms. Tarble looked back, growling through his pain.
"Ch-cheap shot," growled the officer. "C-Can't even fight… fair." Krillin growled, narrowing his eyes.
"Be lucky I'm ignoring what my body's telling me to do right now," growled the monk. "You wouldn't like it." Tarble then grinned, as if figuring something out.
"It's telling you to rip off my tail, to kill me to present to Keira. I know my people's instincts and culture. I know not what you are, but you're more Saiyan than human. Perhaps even a new breed of Saiyan, thanks to the magic all over you." The monk then gritted his teeth.
"Whatever it is, I don't play nice when you mess with what's MINE. Keira is MINE, so I don't want to see you advance on her or I MIGHT not control myself." Tarble then huffed a pained laugh, his eyes looking forward.
"No Saiyan would be a fool to pass up the last female. We seek to populate, which is why she is constantly attempting to mate any male she finds worthy. She somehow knows that we're dying, so she feels the need to breed to save us. If this is your mate to hold, you better be prepared to kill or be killed because I am by far the kindest male Saiyan you will ever meet… and the weakest. If you plan to keep her for good, you will need to give her a child soon." The announcer suddenly chopped at the air, causing a monk to bang the gong.
"AND TEN!" cried the announcer. "TARBLE IS OUT BY COUNT! KRILLIN IS THE WINNER AND MOVES ON TO FACE KEIRA IN THE SEMIFINALS!" Krillin finally released Tarble, the Saiyan remaining on the ground from the pressure. He let the announcer check on him before waving over medics to take him to the infirmary.
The bald boy made his way out the main entrance, feeling a slight stinging in his hand. He wheezed as he felt a tight squeeze surround him from behind. Keira lifted him into the air, giggling as she spun him around.
"I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!" cheered the Saiyan girl. "WE GET TO FIGHT IN THE SEMIFINALS! I FINALLY GET TO PROVE TO YOU WHY I'M THE DOMINANT ONE! LAUNCH CAN'T STOP ME FROM GETTING WHAT I WANT!" Krillin chuckled to himself as he actually resisted the urge to wriggle out of the hold, his tail wagging a bit.
"Well, I had the greatest reason of all to win," huffed the monk. "It was either win or lose you, and I don't quite like the idea of you being with another man." Keira grinned at this, putting him down as she pumped her fists like she was at a party.
"Don't worry about that! If this next match doesn't make that happen, you and I are going non-stop for a whole week!" Krillin purred a bit, his tail wagging as he sweated.
"I-I like the sound of that but we should at least take time to rest and actually get something to drink. We don't want to go thirsty or hungry." Keira giggled, holding her hands behind her head.
"Of course, ya dumb-dumb. Sleep, food, and water are the only breaks we'll get." Jackie Chun speedily walked past, looking like he was trying to hold back tears at the duo's interaction. "...Is someone wearing Orange cologne? It's making me want oranges."
Krillin chuckled at this, only for Yamcha to run by. Keira gasped as she grabbed the sides of her head. "THE OTHER MATCHES! We can't miss watching them! I need to see if Chi Chi moves on or not! Come on!"
Krillin walked with the girl as she grabbed his arm, not wanting to be dragged again. Her tail wagged as if she had felt frustration, a light grumble leaving her throat. The boy chuckled, shaking his head.
"Keira, don't tell me you're still worried about her being after me. You're my one and only." Keira blushed as her tail wag became more intrigued and happy.
"Can't be too careful with love rivals, at least that's what Launch calls girls that try to steal your mate. Anyway, the two of us made a promise that we'd both try to be the strongest girls in the world. I have to see how far she's come. Plus, I get the same advantage she got on me when she saw my match: knowing what your opponent can do. She saw my moves, so I get to see hers."
The duo soon found their own spot, Keira wanting to avoid Bulma's talks about going to school. They watched as Jackie Chun and Yamcha were already in the ring. The announcer gestured towards Yamcha, nodding his head.
"TIME FOR THE THIRD MATCH OF THE QUARTERFINALS!" cried the man. "FIRST UP, IN THE ORANGE AND GREEN UNIFORM, THE FEARLESS YAMCHA!" The crowd cheered for the former bandit, Bulma humming as she leaned against the railing.
"I wonder what Yamcha's opponent looks like," hummed the genius. "There have to be some good looking fighters in the tournament." Keira giggled from her far off spot, shaking her head.
"Yamcha better be careful~," sang the monkey girl. "Bulma looks like she's ready to replace him. He must not have mated her yet. Sounds like someone I know." Krillin rolled his eyes, looking towards the ring.
"Not every human goes that far on the first relationship," stated the monk. "I mean, they could have done that but he left her unsatisfied." The Saiyan huffed, crossing her arms.
"Guess that means he has no choice but to fight and keep guys away. Any guy that can satisfy her more will take her from him." She found her head being rubbed, causing her to huff.
"You read those novels a little too much. Humans don't fight to keep a mate unless it's to keep their mate alive. I mean, they can fight but not in the way you're likely thinking about it." Keira hummed, feeling a bit bored as she joined the boy in looking at the ring. The announcer then gestured towards Jackie Chun, the old man holding up peace signs.
"AND IN THE BLACK AND WHITE OUTFIT, RETURNING TENKAICHI JACKIE CHUN!" The strange elder giggled as he moved the signs back and forth, taking in the cheers from those that knew him. Bulma growled, crossing her arms.
"Well, that's definitely NOT an upgrade," huffed the genius. "GO GET HIM, YAMCHA!" Keira looked back and forth between the old man and her friend, humming.
"Is she blind? That guy's way stronger than Yamcha. I saw one of his matches and he stopped a big buff guy with a poke. If I didn't already have a mate and he didn't look like he was ready to keel over any day from old age, I probably would have at least tried to preserve his strong blood." Krillin huffed, rolling his eyes.
'At least he's too old for her to consider it,' grumbled the boy mentally. Keira looked towards him in confusion. She then smirked as she wrapped her tail around his.
"AWE! Is my mate jealous? I only said that I think his bloodline should be preserved. I mean, he's very powerful and that shouldn't be lost." Krillin smirked, his tail squeezing hers a bit in a loving manner. The girl's eyes widened, holding a hand to her mouth to stop a noise from getting out.
"Keep playing games and we'll see where that gets you. Just remember, you are MINE no matter who's more dominant. If I have to remind you about that, I will. Behave and you'll like what happens." He unwound from her tail, the girl's back arching as she huffed.
"Ch-cheater! You're always cheating! I can't mate you in public and you do that!? One of these days I'm gonna get back at you!" Krillin laughed at this, Yamcha taking his fighting stance down in the ring as Jackie Chun simply stood in wait.
'This Jackie Chun guy isn't even putting up his guard,' thought the wolf warrior. 'If I didn't hear he was a Tenkaichi, I'd mistake his confidence for foolishness. I saw him beat that one guy, but I didn't get to see his technique. I'll have to come at him quickly and watch his moves.' The announcer chopped at the air again, nodding his head.
"BEGIN!" cried the announcer. Yamcha ran forward, crying out as he tried to punch his opponent. Jackie simply moved his head to the side, avoiding the attack. The former bandit tried a kick to no avail, the old man simply jumping over his next palm strike. The old warrior landed on one foot, his expression being unreadable.
"That time you almost touched me. Your techniques are big and fun to look at, but I'm afraid that most of them are just a waste of energy. The same can be said about crying out while fighting. You-" Yamcha growled, a tick mark appearing on his forehead.
"I'LL SHOW YOU!" The warrior ran at the old man, each of his attacks being dodged effortlessly. The Announcer held his head, leaning back.
"WE'RE WATCHING A TENKAICHI AT WORK, PEOPLE!" cried the blonde man. "YAMCHA IS FIRING A BARRAGE OF ATTACKS BUT HE CAN'T EVEN LAND A HIT ON JACKIE CHUN!" The old man jumped away from a kick, his hands still behind his back.
"That anger blinds you, making your attempts to attack predictable. You would do better by slowing down and focusing on your next move." Yamcha huffed, his eyes still narrowed.
"You think you can have fun with me, old man?" questioned the wolf warrior. "We'll see how much fun you have against my Wolf Fang Fist!" Oolong hummed from beside Bulma, tilting his head.
"Ya know, I think Yamcha's lost this match before it even started," stated the pig. "This old guy's next level." Puar still held a smile on her face.
"Don't worry!" cheered the cat. "He still hasn't used his Wolf Fang Fist!" Bulma looked a little uncertain, only to shake her head.
"No," huffed the bluenette. "Yamcha can't lose! KICK HIS ASS AND SEND HIM BACK TO THE NURSING HOME! YOU CAN DO IT!" Keira shook her head, looking bored.
"Yamcha's lost," huffed the monkey girl. "This fight is so boring. I thought Yamcha was stronger than this. Guess I just haven't fought him or watched him fight since before we split up." Yamcha suddenly jumped forward, his hands in a position similar to that of a wolf's maw.
"WOLF FANG FIST!" cried the bandit. The image of a wolf was imagined beside him as he ran towards his opponent. Jackie finally uncrossed his arms as he jumped quickly, avoiding the attack before it could even touch him. He was forced to jump off the wall of the temple to get back to the stage, landing with his arms spread out. Yamcha looked back as the opponent turned around, a look of shock on his face.
"You did well but that Ki usage, while impressive, isn't anything to write home about," critiqued Jackie Chun. "If you have nothing left, allow me to refresh you with a Winter Breeze." The old man held his hands together, gathering Ki into them. He then spun both hands forward into a strike, sending a powerful breeze forward. Yamcha was sent hurtling out of the ring, hitting the wall before falling to the outside sector of the arena.
The old man then chuckled, a goofy look on his face. "How did you like that? Was it 'cool?' In all seriousness, you have a lot to learn before you're on my level, son. Maybe next time you'll actually land a hit." Bulma looked distraught while Keria's eyes seemed to snapshot the technique that was used.
"That was the most boring fight ever," huffed the monkey girl. "That thing Mr. Chun did was cool and all but that was the only thing the fight had going for it. I had hoped Yamcha was stronger but it's like he didn't do a lot of meaningful training. Maybe Bulma should tie him to a tree and make him dodge more angry bees." The announcer made an "X" motion in the air, nodding his head.
"AND THAT'S A RING OUT!" cried the blonde man. "JACKIE CHUN IS THE WINNER AND OUR THIRD SEMIFINALIST! AS THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE RING, THE NEXT MATCH WILL BEGIN AS SOON AS THE FIELD IS CLEARED!" Yamcha slunk out of the arena, a look of shock on his face.
"H-how?" questioned the warrior. "Sure he's a Tenkaichi but… I never thought… Damn." Keira moaned from her seat, crossing her arms.
"When is Chi Chi gonna start fighting!?" groaned the Saiyan girl. "If this ends up being boring too, you HAVE to do it in the ring. I was already gonna make it happen but then it'll be necessary. I didn't know a fight could ever be boring but I guess there's a first for everything. Bulma better start looking for a new guy soon because Yamcha just showed he's not that strong and can't protect her when she has a baby." Krillin looked away, humming to himself.
'I hate to say it but she's not entirely wrong,' thought the monk. 'Yamcha, what kind of training were you doing? Those attacks were so obvious when you actually took a second and kept an eye out… Maybe that's just Master Roshi's training talking but I could have dodged those even before training under him.' His thought process was cut off as Chi Chi and Nam made their way towards the arena.
Chi Chi was wearing a dark blue cheongsam with red edges and the kanji for "Ox" on the back, a pair of light blue gi pants, black martial arts shoes, and a red headband to hold all but her bangs into a small bun. Nam was a fairly tall man with brown skin, a long face, small beady eyes, and a small red dot on his forehead. He wore a white turban, as well as an orange robe with a maroon sash over his shoulder. The Announcer gestured towards Nam first, nodding his head.
"AND NOW, FOR THE LAST MATCH OF THE QUARTER FINALS!" cried the blonde man. "FIRST, THE DESERT WARRIOR, NAM!" The man bowed slightly, earning a few cheers from the crowd. Keira hummed, tilting her head into Krillin's shoulder as she couldn't get a good read on the fight. Her mate rubbed her back, causing her to smile before she leaned forward with a grin.
"Now this looks like an interesting fight," stated the monkey girl. "I can't get a good read on how it'll go and Chi Chi won't just lose without putting up a fight. That Nam guy doesn't look like a pushover either. KICK HIS BUT, CHI!" Chi Chi giggled at this before bowing as the spotlight was put on her.
"AND HIS OPPONENT, PRINCESS OF THE OX KINGDOM, CHI CHI!" The Ox King cheered louder than the crowd, taking a massive flag the size of the entire stage out of a capsule, waving it around as he ended up knocking a poor man over. Said poor man, Yamcha, groaned in pain.
"Why me?" questioned the wolf warrior. "Who even carries a flag that… never mind." Chi Chi moaned, holding her hands to her face as she blushed.
"DADDY!" cried the princess. "WHY WOULD YOU MAKE A FLAG THAT BIG!? IT HAS MY FACE ON IT AND EVERYTHING! YOU'RE EMBARRASSING ME!" Keira laughed as the large man nervously put the flag away.
"Fighters ready?" questioned the announcer. Chi Chi took a moment to breathe before taking on a wide fighting stance and holding her arms slightly above her head. Nam hunkered down a bit before bringing his hands into a cross stance. "BEGIN!" Nam sighed, shaking his head.
"Kami, please forgive me for what I am about to do," begged the man. "Know that I do this only for my people." Chi Chi immediately stomped the ground, causing it to shake as Nam was frazzled a bit. She then charged straight into him, grabbing him as she tossed him over her head. Nam immediately caught himself, turning around to block a strong kick.
He narrowed his eyes as the girl leapt back, returning to his prior stance. 'She is stronger than I expected, but I can't lose here.' He went for a swift high kick, only for Chi Chi to suddenly swap stances as she ran a good distance away from the attack. As his leg hit the ground, a crack formed in the stone of the stage. 'She's fast too.' The Announcer stepped out of the ring, worried about another ring breaker.
"WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" cried the blonde official. "NAM JUST CRACKED THE TILES OF THE ARENA! LET'S HOPE THAT THE YOUNG PRINCESS WON'T GET HURT TOO BADLY!" The man suddenly sweated. 'Or else her father might go on one of his famous rampages… just like his first ever loss.'
He then adjusted his suit as Chi Chi ran around the perimeter of the ring. 'We really don't have the Zeni to fix that kind of mess.' The girl suddenly turned on a dime, an imaginary ox forming above her.
"OLLIE OLLIE OXEN TACKLE!" cried the girl. Nam raised his arms to block the incoming attack, only to grit his teeth as he felt like his arms would soon crack from the initial force of the impact. He was forced to roll in an attempt to lessen the blow, waving his arms a bit as his opponent came to a skidding stop. Keira giggled at this, throwing out faux punches while her eyes sparkled. The man clenched his fists, feeling the sting from the attack.
'It feels as if my arms are going to break from that hit!' thought the man. 'I can't let her do it again!' Chi Chi stomped the ground again, Nam hopping this time to avoid the tremor. He then blocked an attack with his knee before kicking the girl back. Chi Chi rolled across the ground a bit, suddenly stopping as there was a bit of blood at the corner of her mouth.
'I can't take too many hits like that,' thought the girl. 'I… I know what I can do to win but Daddy didn't do a good job of making it sound any less embarrassing. I promised Keira I would meet her in the finals so…' The girl blushed before Nam suddenly jumped high into the sky, tilting her head in confusion.
"LOOK AT THAT, FOLKS!" cried the announcer. "NAM HAS LEAPT HIGH INTO THE AIR!" The man suddenly crossed his arms as he began falling, moving faster and faster as Chi Chi narrowed her eyes.
'Is he stupid? He can't change his course while falling and I'm not dumb enough to stay in one place.' She waited for only a bit before jumping to the side, Nam wincing as he turned to land on his legs. He gritted his teeth as his knees wobbled, Chi Chi blushing as she took a deep breath. "The things I do to fight my friends…"
She ran as quickly as possible, her whole body turning red in embarrassment. "C-CHI CHI SURPRISE!" Nam prepared to block, only to wince as his head was suddenly wrapped in the girl's thighs. Jackie Chun suddenly bled out his nose, having a perverted look on his face as Nam turned solid red. "S-SORRY!"
She then flipped her body forward with all her might, sending the man towards the outside while landing in a handstand. Nam tried to catch himself in the air, only for his right foot to land out of the ring. He looked downtrodden as the Announcer made the "X" motion.
"AND THAT'S A RING OUT!" cried the blonde man. "THE FINAL WINNER OF THE QUARTER FINALS IS PRINCESS CHI CHI! WITH THAT, WE HAVE OUR SEMIFINALISTS! WE'LL TAKE A THIRTY MINUTE BREAK SO THE FIGHTERS CAN REST AND SO YOU CAN GET SOME REFRESHMENTS!" The Ox King chuckled, shaking his head.
"THAT'S MY GIRL!" cried the man. "That man looked like he had something to fight for, if my eyes are working right… Hm… I feel a hit to the treasury soon." Keira suddenly jumped down onto the stage, hugging Chi Chi as she spun her around.
"THAT WAS AWESOME!" cried the monkey girl. "Chi Chi, I'm totally gonna steal that move! It was SOOO cool! Krillin is going to love it, I'm sure!" The princess blushed at this, looking away.
"P-Please don't," begged Chi Chi. "It-it's already-" She gasped as she was dropped onto her feet, her head being caught in a noogie.
"I won't use all of it! Just enough so that my mate can have as much fun with it as I will! We'll be fighting in the finals in no time! And who knows, maybe I'll have a little someone extra in the finals." Chi Chi blushed all red again, fighting her way out of the Saiyan's hold.
"Y-You're not supposed to talk about this in public! E-Everyone can hear us and it's improper! D-Don't make me grab that tail!" Krillin suddenly jumped down as well, landing on his feet and one of his hands. He stood up with a sigh.
"Might as well give up, girl," huffed the tiger-monkey boy. "I've learned that she won't listen unless it's under very specific cases." Keira laughed at being called out, her tail wagging in interest.
"Aw!" cried the Saiyan. "He knows me so well! We need to get you a guy that knows you, Chi! Maybe that guy you just fought or Tarble if he's still around." Krillin looked down, sighing.
"Babe, that wasn't a compliment. Also, why are you setting her up with Tarble: the guy I just beat? Who also happens to be a Space Cop of some kind. I understand you doing that for your bro but why some guy you basically just met?" Keira shrugged, a smirk on her face.
"Why not? He's strong enough to make you really fight and she needs a mate to keep her safe when she has a baby. OOH! BUT 'DITZ WOULD MAKE US SISTERS!... But Tarble's here on Earth while Ditz is who knows where."
Chi Chi continued to blush, not used to being the subject of a couple's squabble or having guys be picked out for her so openly. Her father giving her options was one thing but her best friend was not on the list of people she thought would do such a thing. Keira suddenly grabbed her by the wrist, pulling her along. "Come on! We'll talk about all the options and find you the best possible mate! I could try to call Ditz to see if he can come early and if he's open to mate with a human."
The princess mentally screamed as she was dragged like a doll. Krillin followed behind, not wanting to be left out in the open. He just hoped nothing stupid or crazy was going to happen.
Kame House
Launch hummed to herself, having the tournament on the tv in the background as she cleaned up the house. Now that the others were away, she could safely play with her power to see if she could use anything without hurting others. Thus, machines and cleaning devices could be seen moving around as they performed their functions by themselves. Her tail swirled around as she hummed a tune, purposefully shaking her bottom as if she had a man to attract. She suddenly frowned as she felt a presence, the devices in the area went still.
"I see the block placed on you by the Supreme Kai of Time has worn off, Tyra," greeted a malicious woman's voice. Launch turned around, spotting a beautiful woman of curvaceous and slender frame with long white hair that was longer on one side, light blue skin, and purple eyes. She wore a golden infinity sign shaped hair accessory that covers the back and both sides of her head, golden earrings, a golden brooch, a red and black skin tight bodysuit that had a v shaped hole around her stomach and slits on the bottom half that exposed the bottom of her breasts, a white open leg cape that was jagged at the bottom, and red and black high heels. She held a brown staff with two sharp golden points on each end in her hand, using it as a form of rest.
The woman then beckoned Launch closer to her. "I hope you had fun playing human because now it's time to work, Daughter." The green haired girl growled, her eyes glowing slightly.
"AND who said I would be joining you, Towa," barked the Tiefling. "I have my own life and I'll DAMN well do what I want with it." A pale man with blue skin, white hair, a line on both cheeks that goes from the eyes until his jaw, and red eyes slowly stepped into view. He wore a red bodysuit, white armor with a green center that held a strange white symbol and a brown strap around his neck, black cape-like pants, gray wristbands, and red shoes.
"Oh, I think you'll help whether you want to or not. Mira, hold her down." The man suddenly launched forward, wincing as he received a foot to the face. He was sent flying out the window, coming straight back as if nothing happened. Launch ducked under an attempted grab, placing her thumbs over his chest. The man gasped as he felt like his skin was burning, taking a few steps back as his armor display a runic symbol.
Time then began to slow down for Mira, only for Towa to tap him with her staff to make the seal break. Launch placed her hands on the ground, creating another seal as her mother hummed. "It would seem you still have a knack for time magic, and Mira would have burned if I hadn't intervened. The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree." Launch growled, her bladed tail curling as fangs grew forth.
"I'M NOTHING LIKE YOU! DON'T YOU DARE COMPARE US LIKE THAT!" Towa hummed, leaning back again.
"If I recall correctly, you used to LOVE causing chaos and discord. In fact, you enjoyed it more than me. I truly can't fathom what happened to change you." She tried to pull a fast one with her staff, only for it to be knocked back by an awakened broom. Launch growled, floating upwards a bit.
"It's called growing up! I learned to appreciate life, unlike you!" Mira suddenly dashed forward and grabbed her by the neck, causing her to jam the edge of her tail into his leg. He gritted his teeth in pain though he did not break. "Who the hell is this? Another of your demon pets?" Towa grinned at this.
"Oh, right. You haven't met him yet. This is Mira, your brother and my husband. I created him using the DNA of many heroes and villains from other timelines, including some Namekians and Saiyans. He has been so helpful in your absence, including the creation of your new little brother." Launch gagged, sticking her tongue out.
"You had sex with this THING? He's your own child in that sense." Towa frowned, rolling her eyes.
"Don't be like that. You've had plenty of demonic offspring, some of which you created simply to play with." The pink girl growled at this, sending the woman a particular finger.
"None of the demon spawn I slept with were mine. I just used parts here and there to upgrade the ones I got off of the freaks you compare me to and I never 'play' with my own flesh and blood kids. I'm not a depraved, lonely bitch like you." The demoness frowned at this, only to grin in an attempt to save face.
"We're getting off track, Dear." Mira slammed Launch onto the ground, her tail popping out of the wound on his leg. "We are VERY close to getting into the Time Nest and your little power to control and manipulate time is the last thing we need. The right touch if you will. All you need to do is destroy a certain little ape and we'll be able to slip in as this time shatters."
The woman then approached, a grin on her face. "Now, hold still while I make sure that happens." Launch gritted her teeth, venom in her eyes.
"Don't you dare! I'll NEVER kill Keira! You're just scared because she can kick your ass! We both know when there's a difference in power you turn to others to do your dirty work! You're scared of what she WILL become." Towa frowned, squatting down a bit.
"In the future, she may become a threat like Goku. At this age, however, she's simply a gnat." Launch grinned, her tail wagging before it was also held down.
"She has Divine Ki. Figured that out rather quickly after the Kai arrived. If she gets the chance, she WILL defeat you. Mark my words." Towa huffed, reaching her hand out.
"It's the Kai and Angel I'm worried about, not some anomalous brat our last universe break created. Either way, breaking the little spell could save your little pet but let's be honest. You are centuries out of practice. By the time you're done, it'll be too late." Launch winced as the hand was placed on her stomach, only to grin through her pain.
"Thanks, for being the same dumb bitch as before." Towa's eyes widened as the seal that Launch made on the floor suddenly glowed. Her and Mira began to feel displaced in time, her hand ceasing to exist for a moment before coming back.
"Clever girl. The hard way it is then." Mira then looked off in the distance.
"Time Patrol," warned the man. "She was stalling. It's Trunks and the other one. They're quickly approaching." The woman huffed, rolling her eyes.
"Deal with them. I'll have the seal on her quickly. It will be sloppy but she can't truly expect to win with this." The man suddenly flew off, Towa continuing her work as Launch gritted her teeth. The true demon hissed in pain as a hot iron bounced onto her leg, her daughter grinning.
"You're wasting your time," barked the teen. "I'll get the seal off and the others will help. I won't hurt Keira." Towa huffed as she pushed harder, Launch crying out as a sloppy seal formed over her belly button. The woman stood up, venom in her eyes.
"I look forward to seeing you try," barked back the woman. "You truly were my best creation, so it's a shame to see what you've become. So much potential, lost." The woman then disappeared before the fridge could slam down on her. Launch held her gut, tracing the lines with her finger as she hissed.
"I-It should only take a few hours to get this off if I'm careful. If I can't and lose control, Roshi will have to hold me down until we can remove this." The room suddenly shifted, everything going back to what it was.
"No need for that," denied a refined voice. "I'll have it done by lunch." The girl looked up, her eyes narrowing as she saw a lavender skinned man with the same hair color and eye color as Towa. He wore armless circle glasses, a black trench coat with a golden X on the back, a gray long-sleeve turtleneck, gray baggy pants, and blue open toed sandals.
"Wh-who are you? Speak!" The man chuckled as he held up his hands.
"No need to get testy, Sis. You can call me Fu. I'm finding this timeline rather fun and would hate to see it destroyed. Besides, you're not the only one who's not Towa's biggest fan." Launched winced as she curled in on herself, smiling a bit.
"What is this, a fucking family reunion? Guess if you're offering I can't fight it." Fu snapped his fingers, a grin on his face.
"That's the spirit! We have so much to catch up on! There's so much more about our little omniverse that I'd love to share and I'd love to hear more about little Miss Kai Reincarnate."
Inkaliber: That's all for the chapter! Krillin has both defeated Tarble and received a warning about other male Saiyans. Roshi has beaten Yamcha as per usual and Chi Chi clutches an embarrassing win against Nam. Launch has a run in with her mother, Towa, before being rescued by none other than her brother Fu. As for why Fu mentioned the Omniverse… I'll just say he's been around the block and I may have his first experience pop up in another story.
Zemrocku: Well the Saibaman is dead.
Deadpool: And I'm going to re-enact Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe because of it.
Inkaliber: No you won't. Scribble noises.
Deadpool: What are you… What was I talking about?
Zemrocku: That you were going to adopt a kitten.
Deadpool: Nah! I love kitties but then Coin Cat will get jealous.
Meowth: DO NOT CALL ME DAT!
Inkaliber: Alright! Everyone out! I gotta close out the chapter!... Whew. There are a LOT of people in this place, even after all the upgrading I did for the studio.
Inkaliber: Anyway, what did you think about the story thus far? Did you like how Krillin defeated Tarble? Was Yamcha vs Roshi as good as canon or better? Would Chi Chi have actually defeated Nam? Let me know what you think down below and I'll try to get back with you ASAP. Until next time, this is Inkaliber, signing out.
