Well, it's about damn time I crossposted this, huh?

– START OF RECORDING –
Saint: Does everyone understand the rules?
[CIRCLE NOTE: The participants nod. Glint and Ghost are excited, Crow is intrigued, Wolf was clearly dragged into this, and Osiris is probably here so he can spend time with Saint.]
Saint: Good. Now, the first thing we need to do is decide our characters. You will need to choose species and class. Who's first?
Glint: I think I'll play a bard. They do music, right?
Saint: Yes, they do.
Glint: Yeah, I'm doing that. I already sing Crow to sleep. I can sing our enemies to sleep too!
[CIRCLE NOTE: Crow grimaces a little, slightly embarrassed, and Wolf's lips twitch upward.]
Saint: Excellent choice. And your species?
Glint: Ooh! Can I be an Exo?
Saint: ...that's not... This game is older than Exos. Pre-Golden Age.
Glint: Oh... Actually! I see here that I can be a dragonborn! Can I be a dragon?
Saint: Dragonborn bard... Very well.
Crow: And what do we call this dragonborn bard?
Glint: Hmm... Can I breathe fire?
Saint: If you are red or gold dragonborn, yes.
Glint: Then call me Bonfire!
[CIRCLE NOTE: The table goes quiet. Crow snorts.]
Crow: Bonfire?
Glint: Yeah! It can be my stage name!
Saint: We'll workshop it, yes? Moving on.
Wolf: I guess I can be a fighter. A human fighter?
Ghost: What? That's the most generic thing I've ever seen!
Wolf: Uh huh, and what would you suggest?
Ghost: How about a rogue? You can pick locks and sneak around and use poison.
Wolf: ...okay yeah, that sounds cool, I guess.
Glint: Still human?
Wolf: Why not? It says here that humans get a lot of good bonuses.
Crow: Well, if Wolf here is going to be generic, I'm going to be the opposite. Elf Paladin. Call me ... Actually, Glint? Could you pull up a name generator?
[CIRCLE NOTE: Saint sighs.]
Glint: Okay, looking up fancy names for elves... Uh... Let's see... How about Glynydark?
Wolf: That's a mouthful.
Crow: I like it. I'll be Glyny for short. And ... wow, that's a lot of elves... Drow? Yeah, Drow.
Saint: A Drow. A Drow named Glynydak. Alright then... Osiris? What do you wish to play?
Osiris: I think ... I'll be a warlock. A master of the arcane arts, champion of the entity that has bestowed me this power. I shall have–
Saint: Osiris? I love you, but you're only level one.
[Circle Note: Osiris bristles.]
Saint: Warlock... And I assume Hexblade?
Osiris: Of course.
Saint: Right... An interesting bunch already. Ghost?
[CIRCLE NOTE: Ghost shifts excitedly in the air.]
Ghost: I'm going to be a gnome cleric!
Saint: ...yes, well, wouldn't you prefer to be someone other than a cleric?
Ghost: What's wrong with being a cleric? I can heal, buff, debuff! Ooh! Maybe I can multiclass into rogue later and be able to lockpick doors! The ultimate support!
Saint: Ghost, you already do all of that in real life!
Wolf: And you were talking to me about being generic.
Crow: Also I'll have healing magic. So will Glint ... kind of. You don't have to be a healer.
Ghost: …Well… Hey, I don't see what's more rewarding than being a healer! Besides, I don't see you getting onto Osiris for being a Warlock!
Osiris: That's because I'm special.
Ghost: Okay, whatever, but what if I was a light cleric?
[CIRCLE NOTE: Wolf starts laughing. Saint buries his head in his hands and swears under his breath.]
Saint: ...this game is going to be the end of me...

[DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS GROUP]
Saint-14 and Gepetto – Suffering Dungeon Masters
Glint – Bonfire the Dragonborn Bard
Wolf – Sam the Human Rouge
Crow – Glynydark the Drow Paladin
Osiris – Anubis the Half-Elf Warlock
Ghost – Angel the Gnome Cleric
Osiris is there because Saint is there, the idea of Saint being a Dungeon Master was kind of funny to me, I had to include Crow and Glint and Ghost basically dragged Wolf into it. Will there be a sequel? I don't know yet.
