37. Chapter 37 A Frozen Resolution in Kvaris

ESKK: Here we go the beginning of the Kvaris front for the Battle of Halpha. Let's start this new chapter started readers.

(Start Dark Falz Vader Aelio)

"I wants our forces forming a defensive perimeter around this facility." Vader ordered as he walked through the Vandford Labs in Aelio. He was nursing some of the injuries he had suffered in his Dark Falz form when he attempted a direct assault on Central City. But if his assumption is right the use of their Central Canon has severely depleted the cities power supply. "It will only be a matter of time before our enemies mount an assault to retake this place." Vader said as he spoke to the Tactical Droid with two Bushin with him.

"As you command Dark Falz." The Tactical Droid responded before he took his leave to carry out the order.

Just then Persona walked in as she glared at Vader. He was not supposed to be here but then again, she should not have taken Shiva at her word either. "Vader." Persona spoke as she looked over to Vader.

"What is it, Persona." Vader said reminding himself not to refer to Persona with HER name.

Persona looked around to make sure no one and no droid was listening in. She then approached Vader and spoke directly to him. "I have word from Shiva, she demands that you make contact with her immediately." Persona said in a hushed tone which was a key reminder that the Separatists do not know of Shiva's existence, and it would be best to keep it as such.

"Isolate a room so I may make contact undisturbed." Vader said before he began to march off to prepare to meet with Shiva.

"As you wish." Persona gritted out before walking off to prepare for Vader's conversation with Shiva.

(Later with Vader)

Vader entered a darkened room that Persona had ensured was isolated enough for this talk. Vader did a second run of scans to make sure Persona was truthful and thankfully she was. So, with this in mind Vader entered the room and released a communications device from his own armor. Once it was released it split up and formed an improvised holo terminal so that Vader may speak to Shiva.

Once all was prepared Vader kneeled down and activated the system. Shiva appeared her image shadowed by the hologram and the power she gave off. "What is thy bidding my master?" Vader asked as he kneeled down to Dark Shiva.

"Vader, I have sensed a great disturbance in the Force." Shiva said resting her head on her left fist, smiling. Vader knew that Shiva smiling for anything was never a good sign for anyone involved. More so her connection to the Force and her Photon use were something that even Anakin Skywalker at his prime would not be able to best in a straight up battle.

"I have felt it my master." Vader said recalling what Yuvel had done to him when they did battle.

"Yes, and in this you have discovered, the Guardian." Shiva said as she looked to Vader smiling that Vader found whom she had been seeking. "The only threat to us was in your hands and he managed to escape." Shiva lowering her hand resting it on her thrones armrest.

"He is just a boy." Vader said as he looked to Shiva.

"You had said the same thing to Sidious about in several timelines Luke." Shiva said with a sinister smile. "Do you perhaps see your dear boy in him?" Shiva taunted as Vader clenched his fist as his rage and frustrations were made to rise. The problem was that he could not unleash it upon Shiva and even if he could she would have him bested before he could make any lasting damages to her. "Do not let such old feelings cloud your mind, you have made him strong in the Force Vader he must not be allowed to discover the full extent of what he can now do." Shiva said but Vader had a counter.

"The Jedi will not train him." Vader said assured that the Jedi would not break their archaic rules to train the Guardian.

"No not the Council but close allies on the other hand." Shiva said knowing that several Jedi were know mavericks and would happily train Yuvel in their ways. "Training Apprentice will be your focus… but the Guardian… he would make a most powerful ally to me." Shiva said looking at her fingers seemingly inspecting her nails.

"Vader." Shiva continued as Vader paid close attention to Shiva. "You will do what you can to turn the Guardian." Shiva said before smirking. "He will prove to be more valuable to us then the Chosen One ever did." Shiva said her tone showing she was taunting Anakin. This had of course brought more of Vader's rage and frustrations out.

"As you command." Vader said with a bow before the communication link came to an end. With that done Vader stood up and departed from the room to carry out Shiva's orders. Yet at the same time he plotted against her in the hopes of exacting his vengeance upon the monster.

(Scene Break Kvaris Region Mt. Itola)

Republic Cruisers and ARKS Ships were coming down upon Kvaris as the snow-covered region was made victim of the Dark Falz and the Separatists. Moving in from Wester Kvaris the united forces were moving in to take back the Region. At the moment Kvaris City was being attacked from the Southern and Western areas of the Kvaris Region keeping the forces their Defenders pinned down. Northern Kvaris and Central Kvaris were more or less untouched giving the Defenders some breathing room. Northern Kvaris was a whole mountain that was almost impossible to trek on foot and outright suicide for a regular Battle Droid to climb. The only thing of note in Northern Kvaris was the landing strip and the Communications hub that coordinated the comm channels for the entire region If the central hub were to go out the entire region would basically lose their communications if the hubs systems and data does not transfer to an auxiliary hub station.

Up on the Mountain was the communications hub command post that seemed to operate from a log cabin. The Cabin in question was connected to the station and to the landing pad near it as there were only a few ships and speeders on the station. At the moment a young Newman male in blue was observing the area via a pair of binoculars glaring at the scene around him. Even from here he could see the battle going on down in Kvaris right now. All things considered they had a very boring post out here on the mountain.

He saw a few creatures native to the Kvaris region as well, but they were hardly of note to him. "This is the deck area is secured." The Newman said showing his Katana and his position as a Braver Class. "I'm heading back in now." He added before making his way into the base.

(Meanwhile inside the Communication Hub)

Inside the hub was a group of four other Newman who were all doing varying tasks with the Radio playing one of Kuna's songs. It seems like the one outside they were color coded and seemed to vary in ages. From oldest to youngest was green, red, yellow, and pink with the Green Newman cleaning up the place a bit while the pink one was cooking on a nearby stove.

Just then the red Newman cried out in frustration having enough of the quiet and dropping his video game. "Dude this is so unfair!" He called out clearly frustrated by being stuck with nothing to do.

"I wouldn't say that Luka." The Yellow Wearing Newman with glasses said with a data pad in hand. "The quiet gives me time to catch up on my reading." He said while adjusting his Glasses a bit. This then caused the red haired and red wearing Newman to glare at him with his red eyes.

"Tai you are so boring you know that." Luka said as he glared at his brother.

"Come on Luka be nice." The Green Newman said to his younger brother. "I know this post isn't glamorous, but it has to be handled." He said before the pink Newman nodded in agreement.

"Sam is right." The pink haired girl said checking on the food. "If we don't keep this place running then Kvaris goes quiet." She said which the Green Newman, Sam, nodded to this.

"Thank you Moka." Sam said with a smile that someone was on his side.

"I hate to say it, but I agree with Luka." The voice of the blue wearing Newman said as he entered the room and joined up with his siblings. "We should be down there fighting for Kvaris not up here on maintenance detail." He said as Luka smiled at his brother.

"Oh, Koga I never thought I hear the day." Luka said happy that his brother was on his side over this.

But when Luka was about to hug Koga the Braver put a hand against Luka's chest and held him back. "Don't touch me." Koga said with a scowl showing he did not like to be touched.

"It might not be fun but most of the important jobs aren't fun to begin with." Sam said trying to cull his siblings who were getting stir crazy here. "Let's just keep doing our job and maybe after the battle we can send a request for a transfer." Sam said causing Luka and Koga to scowl and just go along with it for now.

(Scene Break Kvaris City hanger)

At the moment Kvaris ARKS Defenders, ARKS Operatives, and Republic Troopers were moving in towards the trenches as another enemy assault was approaching their position. The enemy forces had been bombarding Kvaris city over day now and so far, ARKS and Republic Forces have been able to ward them off. This was one of the benefits of the harsh environment provided by the Kvaris region those living there were able to handle more severe situations.

Currently in the ship hangers Plo-Koon was seen with several others as they prepared to provide air support. With him was Clone Commander Wolfe and Yaga as they were preparing to go into battle, again. In front of them was a map of Kvaris with the Clones and ARKS Operatives all dressed in winter gear.

"The enemy will be approaching from the Wester Quadrant with a secondary force attacking from the Central area." Plo said as he spoke to the crew. "We'll hold our position in Southern Kvaris and attempt to push back against them." Plo Koon said as he pointed to the Southern Kvaris area. "Meanwhile a legion will deploy into the Central Area to root out the enemy forces there." Plo said pointing to the Central Kvaris area while detailing the plan.

"I'll be heading up the defense on the Southern Area make sure you guys don't get your asses slaughtered and all that." Yaga said with a grin on his face.

"Councilman are you sure about this?" Wolfe asked as he knew that Yaga was still a major leader for ARKS.

"Of course, I'm sure." Yaga said with a grin currently his face. "I mean what sort of leader would I be if I wasn't in the thick of it with you guys." Yaga said as he crossed his arms with a grin on his face. "After all pops always said a leader who fights by his men's side is one worth following." Yaga said once more quoting his father and his many sayings.

"You all know your job let's start moving." Plo said and thus everyone began to depart to assist with the mission and defend Kvaris City. Everyone left but Plo stayed behind as he observed the holographic map for a bit.

"Yo Master Jedi you, ok?" Yaga asked noting that something had Plo concerned right now.

"I sense something amiss with our enemies." Plo said as he noted that there must have been some sort of ploy in place right now.

"Well, we can capture one and interrogate but right now we got a battle to win." Yaga said refusing to let Kvaris fall to the Dark Falz or the Separatists.

"I agree but best to keep our eyes peeled." Plo said seeing that there was more at play in Kvaris.

"Well Pops always said if you think something isn't right best to check it out first." Yaga said with a knowing smile on his face.

"Perhaps investigating would be our best option when time allows." Plo said seeing what Yaga was talking about.

"Good then better make plans." Yaga said and thus the pair went to join their troops for the Kvaris Region battle front. It would pay to know just how accurate Plo-Koon's gut feeling was in this situation.

(Meanwhile at the Separatist Camp)

The Separatist Camp was crawling with Droids, Falspawn, and DOLLS as Elder was leading the Kvaris front of this battle. He was currently standing before a holo table that displayed the Kvaris region and his own forces plan of attack. Problem was that Elder was a forward striker none of this sneakiness that Person and the assigned Tactical Droid spouted.

"Do you understand your mission, Elder?" Persona asked as she glared at Elder via the holographic image through her mask.

"I hear you, but I don't want to listen." Elder said as he was a warrior first and his desire is to face his enemies head on not from behind.

"Elder we need to deal with the communications hub if we ever want to seize the Kvaris Region." Persona said making it clear why they needed to take it out. "I want it done preferably sooner rather than later." Persona added as she glared at Elder daring him to counter her order on this regard. "Do not lose control like last time." Persona added and thus Elder growled.

"Very well." Elder responded and with a nod Persona ended the call. Once he was done Elder glared at the Tactical Droid in the room with him. "Get the troops ready for the attack." Elder ordered the Droid who understood the order.

"As you command." The Droid responded and thus left to gather their forces for the attack on Kvaris City.

Elder didn't like this strategy it involved the first attack using it as a smokescreen so their forces can attack the communication hub. It was a sound strategy, but it was not an Elder one because of the need for subterfuge and stealth not brute force. Still, he was in hot waters already for Ryloth and it would be far to vexing to deal with another lecture from Dark Falz Persona.

Arms Kvaris unit, as Vader called them, would attack the communication hub with a small detachment of Commando Droids. From there they would eliminate everyone inside and remove the hub from this battle and generally causing a strike to the Republics and ARKS Unit cohesion. It was smart, it was tactically sound, but it was not a warriors battle method.

Dark Falz [Elder] The Gargantuan was a warrior first and foremost he was not a spy nor a coward who needed underhanded methods to win. So, to be made to undergo a strategy like this was a blow to Elder's pride and his warriors honor. Regardless there was a battle to win and when this plan plays out, he intends to fight as he likes. So, leaving the room Elder went to prepare his Falspawn and the DOLLS units for the battle against their enemies.

(Back at the Communication Hub)

The five siblings were hanging around the main control station as they were passing the time in any way they could. At the same time, they were monitoring their stations to make sure they don't get caught off guard by enemy forces hoping to silence the station leaving Kvaris communication network to go completely silent. Moka came in wheeling a cart in with food on it as she knew her siblings might be hungry for a nice hot family meal.

Just then after the food was passed out an alert came from Moka's station. Heading over she saw their scanners had picked up on movement. "Hey guys we have movements." Moka said causing her red wearing brother to moan in frustration to this new update.

"Again? Probably a spooked animal." Luka said as he did not want to check out to see it was what he thought it to be.

In response Koga sighed in frustration as he grabbed his Katana from its holding spot. "I'll go check it out." He said sounding annoyed. "Need to stretch my legs anyway." He added and thus headed out to check things out.

(Later outside the Communication Hub)

Koga arrived with his feet moving through the snow. He had a pair of specs on as he looked around for the animal that caused the sensors to go off. So far everything seemed quiet but for some reason Koga found it to be concerning. It was quiet too quiet. He looked across the ground for disturbed snow knowing animals will have to have left tracks behind he could follow.

He soon found the tracks but when he got to them, he noticed something wrong… these were not animal tracks. Just then from behind Koga was caught off guard as Commando Droids jumped down from the trees and incapacitated him. Once that was done, they got ready to move towards the main communication hub.

"With me." The leading commando Droid said and thus they began moving towards the main building. From the wood line humanoid DOLLS Units approached with a larger one leading them through. The smaller ones were known as Ams Krons who are support units for the leader Ams Kvaris who lead the group of DOLLS units through.

Once the Command Droids got to the door they got to work on the door. "Open the door." The Leading Droid said as his subordinate opened the panel and began pulling on the wiring to hotwire the door open.

(Back inside the Communication Hub)

Moka, Luka, Tai, and Sam were waiting to hear from Koga but had yet to get a response from him. "Koga? Koga respond." Tai said trying to call Koga via their communication link. But all Tai got in response was silence from his aloof brother.

"Is something wrong, Sam?" Moka asked with concern for her brother and also for Koga.

"Koga isn't responding… that isn't like him." Tai said before Sam cut in on this.

"I don't see him outside." Sam said as he saw the security images showing an empty landscape in its view.

"Luka, Moka go out and find him." Tai said pointing to his brother and sister.

"Right!" Luka called and thus he and Moka put on their helmets and went out to look for their brother.

(Later over at the door)

Luka and Moka arrived at the door and were shocked when it suddenly opened with Droids and DOLLS Units on the other side. "Oh, shit Droids!" Luka called out as he drew his sword while Moka drew her wand ready for battle. The Commando Droids opened fired as Luka blocked it with his shield and Moka supported her brother as they fell back. Following the Droids were the Ams Krons and Ams Kvaris as they entered the communication hub.

(Back at the control room)

Hearing the blaster fire Sam and Tai got worried. "That can't be good." Tai said and thus drew his twin guns while Sam had his cannon out ready to fight. Moving to the source of the disturbance and in turn found Luka and Moka fighting for their lives.

"Well Luka ask, and you shall receive!" Sam called out firing his cannon off, but the Droids avoided it while the DOLLS tanked it.

"We need to sound the alarm!" Tai called out and thus Moka moved away.

"On it!" Moka cried out and headed to the console closest to her. Heading to it she slammed her hand on the alarm but all she got was silence. "No, no; no!" Moka cried out as she tried again but was met with the same result from it. "They've taken out our alarms!" Moka cried out to Tai as he was firing his gun on the enemy forces.

"Run!" Tai called out and thus the siblings made a dash for the main control room. Entering it Tai slammed his hand on the buttons to seal the doors once they got through.

Following it up was Sam as he opened the panel and tore out the cables inside. "This should but us some time." Sam said and thus Moka headed to the nearest vent.

"Hurry this way!" Moka called out as she looked to the group.

"Wait we're running?! But we can still fight!" Luka called out but then Tai grabbed his younger brother.

"There's too many of them!" Tai called out before Moka cut in on what was said.

"And we need to find Koga!" Moka added and thus they knew they had to make their escape from here.

"But." Luka began only to be cut off by the door. Looking to it he saw that the Commando Droids were attempting to cut through.

"Come on!" Tai called and thus Luka growled and ran to the grate Moka opened and entered it. The siblings acted fast and just in the nick of time as well. When Moka closed the grate behind her the enemy forces broke through and were ready for a fight. Instead, all they found was an empty room and in turn the Command Droids began to scout around the room.

"The ARKS Defenders have escaped Captain." A Commando Droid said to his XO.

"The DOLLS will find them deactivate the communications and contact Elder." The Droid said and thus the droid nodded and got to work.

(Back at the main battle)

"Come on!" Yaga called out as he lead the troops through the battle with Plo-Koon. Laser fire were going off left and right as ground units from ARKS met the DOLLS head on in a clash of blades. It looked like they were winning as they kept the Separatist and Falspawn forces all at bay.

"Councilman!" Came the call from the command base.

"This is Yaga shoot!" Yaga called back before he punched another foe.

"We're detecting… be on… we." The voice spoke but was met with static before being cut off all of a sudden.

"The Heck!" Yaga asked and just as he did, he saw something coming their way.

"We have a problem." Plo said and thus they were met by a surprise of a Droid kind. A spider Droid and by the looks of it the F-Factor had corrupted it beyond recognizing as it opened fire on their forces causing a large explosion. It did not come alone as there were several others moving towards their position. Enemy fire increased as soon the switch was back pushing the allied forces.

"Fall back!" Plo called out the order as their forces began to move.

"We can't get a clear communication through something is wrong!" An ARKS Defender called out and thus they were forced to retreat.

"Ok time for plan b!" Yaga called out and thus sent out a flare to the sky a red one.

As the forces got behind a certain line command saw the flare and knew what to do. The Droids, and Falspawn moved towards the line and when they did the surprise went off, a massive explosion of bombs set in place that created an instant trench and made it hard for the droids to cross on their own.

"Impressive." Plo said but Yaga knew that it would not last them. "Come on we need to go now!" Yaga called and thus the Republic and ARKS forces all retreated to Kvaris City to lick their wounds and rethink their strategy here.

(Meanwhile at Elder's command post)

Elder glared at the holographic image of the Commando Droids sent to take the Communication Hub on the mountain. He had seen the sudden shift in the battle and knew he had the Droids and DOLLS to thank for that.

"We've taken the communication hub and shut down their network, Dark Falz Elder." The Captain of the Commando's said to Elder. "We will begin the download of their network data immediately." He said and thus Elder nodded to this.

"Good, if any ARKS or Republic forces show themselves do not hesitate to eliminate them." Elder said and thus the Droid nodded to this.

"Yes sir." The droid said and thus Elder ended the call.

"I will inform Vader of our progress." The Tactical Droid said with a bow before taking his leave of Elder to make his report to Vader.

(Back at Kvaris City Command)

Plo, Yaga, and the Kvaris City Commander a Newman were meeting as they were deep in discussion. "Ok someone mind telling me why our communicators are crap all of a sudden?" Yaga asked as she wanted answers and for this problem to be solved as soon as possible.

"I'm not sure sir." The City Commander, an older Newman said to Yaga. "There may have been an issue at the hub." He theorized as he looked to the group.

"Has there been any contact to the hub, Hovalt?" Yaga asked the City Commander with concern for what this could mean for them and the cities defenses.

"We've tried but no response." Hovalt said as he showed that he was worried here.

"I sense that this is more." Plo said to the Newman currently standing before him. "And not simply a loss of contact from the station." Plo added as he looked to Hovalt on this.

"There is… but not now." Hovalt said as they needed to focus on the problem.

"Well, we need to fix it before the baddies figure out how to get past our bomb field." Yaga said knowing they had at least three waves before the enemy forces break through it all.

"I will take a squad and investigate the matter." Plo said as he looked to the group ready to move.

"No problem I can stay here and kick some ass." Yaga said with a clear cocky smirk while punching his fist into his open palm.

"Very well." Plo said before directing his attention to Wolfe. "Commander Wolfe remain with the troops here." Plo said to his Clone Commander. "Hopefully, I won't be gone for very long." Plo finished in which Wolfe nodded to the Commander.

"Yes sir." Wolfe responded and thus they got ready to deploy for their own battles.

When Plo left Yaga got down to it as they had another area of combat during this royal ass fuck up. "So how are the guys over in Central Kvaris?" Yaga asked and thus Wolfe had the answer for this one.

"We sustained heavy losses but our troops over there were able to hold their position before falling back." Wolfe said after he had received the report on that battle.

"So, we got fucked in the ass for this." Yaga said scratching his nose a bit trying to figure out what they're next move should be. "Ok get me a list of our current resources so we can see what we can do to make it count." Yaga said and thus Wolfe nodded to Yaga.

"Yes sir." Wolfe said and thus took his leave of the meeting leaving Yaga and the City Commander in the room.

"So now that those two are gone… mind telling me what the deal is with the Communications Hub?" Yaga asked looking over to Hovalt wanting answers as to why the man seemed deeply concerned here.

"My children are stationed at the Communications Hub." Hovalt said which surprised Yaga on this. "I had them sent there for their own protection… I didn't think." He trailed off and thus Yaga got the gist of what was happening.

"You didn't think our enemies would try to hit that place, right?" Yaga asked to which the City Commander nodded confirming Yaga's assumption on this.

"We… don't exactly get along… but I do care for them it's just hard to show it." Hovalt said and thus Yaga sighed to this.

"Pops always said a father who can't say aloud his love for his children can only show it in actions." Yaga said quoting his father once more on this one. "Look we'll bring them home and win this battle ok." Yaga said assuring the old man that everything will turn out fine in the end.

"I pray that you are right." Hovalt said not wanting the worse to come about. He and his children had been playing the game together when the incident had occurred bringing the entire serves of PSO2 into this wider galaxy.

(Later over at the hanger)

Plo was approaching an ARKS drop ship that would take him to the Communication Hub so he can investigate what was going on. With the communication station down their forces were suffering for this. He needed to investigate and see if this was an accident or if it was malicious intent. As he approached, he stopped when he sensed a new arrival.

"Sir sorry to intrude but permission to accompany you." The ARKS operative said as he stood upright to Plo. He was a Female Deuman with a violet left eye that had the eye most Deumans are born with and a blue right eye that looked normal by human standards.

"I appreciate the offer, Cora, but I can handle this alone." Plo said assuring the ARKS Operative that he can handle the situation himself. Cora was the Captain of his forces and was in charge of the ARKS Operatives assigned to his legion.

"With all due respect sir, I would be more at ease if you had some backup to accompany you out there." Cora said as she wanted to ensure that Plo made it back to base safely.

"Very well." Plo said seeing there was no convincing the ARKS captain otherwise on this. So, in turn the two boarded the Dropship and once they were inside the ship took off for the hub.

(Back at Elder's Command Post)

Dark Falz [Elder] the Gargantuan stood before the holo table glaring at it noting the current stalemate. Just then a Tactical Droid entered and began speaking to Elder. "Elder our forces are ready for battle." The Droid said and thus Elder scoffed to this.

"Good I'll be leading the attack." Elder said leaving the table as he went off to prepare for the coming battle.

"As you command." The Tactical Droid said following the orders of Elder for this operation. Elder was not going to sit idle while a battle wages worthy for a warrior. Elder never was one to shy away from a good fight and he was not about to start that now.

(Scene Break the Communication Hub)

The ARKS vessel was flying over to the Communications Hub and so far, everything seemed quiet, too quiet in fact. This was the scene that Plo and Cora found as their ship approached the facility.

"Kvaris Communication Hub this is Captain Cora of ARKS and General Plo-Koon of the Republic requesting permission to land." Plo said as they approached the station to figure out why their entire communication network had suddenly gone down. Plo and Cora stood behind the pilot as the ship made its approach to the communication station. "Communication Hub please respond." Plo said trying to get a response from the Hub.

(Back at the Primary Communication Hub)

The Commando Droids were at the main control room when they received the call. Already the Captain was dressed in one of ARKS Uniforms as he got to work on recreating their voices for this. They could not risk being exposed at this crucial junction and with the DOLLS out hunting down those escaped ARKS Defenders they had to stall.

"Open comm. Link channel." The Commando Droid said in the voice of Sam before putting the ARKS Defender helmet on.

(Back on the ARKS Dropship)

"Communication Hub come in please respond." Cora said as she was now worried about this.

Just then the link was established, and they saw an ARKS Defenders face appear. "Sorry, we're experiencing a major malfunction." The ARKS Defender said as there seemed to be background sound suggesting this. "We're trying to repair the system as we speak but it will take time." The Defender said causing Cora and Plo to look to each other with concern.

"Is that so perhaps we can provide some assistance?" Cora offered as she felt something was off even Plo agreed on this.

"Negative we have it under control communications should be up soon." The Defender said before Plo cut in.

"Be that as it may we need that communication operational again so prepare for our arrival." Plo said and thus the Defender nodded.

"Roger-Rodger." He said and thus the link was cut off.

"Something's not right." Cora said which Plo nodded in agreement to this.

"I concur I sense a disturbance in this." Plo said and thus they got ready for the landing. "Bring us in Pilot." Plo said and thus they moved in to begin their landing protocols.

(Meanwhile with the Hub Team)

The grates on the mountain were kicked open and from there the siblings, Luka, Moka, Sam, and Tai all jumped out of it. "Well, this sucks!" Luka said as he landed on the ground.

"Shut up, Luka." Tai said as he landed next to him.

"Why? We're screwed we don't know where Koga is, and the bad guys just screwed us five ways to Monday back there." Luka complained but then Moka stepped in.

"Wanna say something else we don't already know?" Tai asked as he was getting annoyed with his younger brother.

"Guys take it easy we've been trained for this." Moka said pushing her brothers back to avoid a physical confrontation between them.

"Uh guys do you hear that?" Sam suddenly spoke as he heard movement from nearby.

"Yeah… and it doesn't sound like the Droids." Luka said as he heard it too and thus, they all began to draw forth their weapons. They got ready for a fight and soon enough the fight came when the Ams Krons DOLLS Units showed up. There was two of them as they moved in for the attack against the siblings intent of snuffing them out.

The siblings move out of the way with weapons drawn and all took battle stances. "DOLLS!" Moka cried out with her Wand at the ready.

"This day just keeps getting better and better." Luka sarcastically cried out holding his Sword against the two Ams Krons. In turn the two DOLLS units charged at the siblings one going for Luka and Moka the other targeting Tai and Sam dividing the foes evenly between them. It was smart as it prevented the ARKS Defenders from ganging up on an individual DOLLS Unit.

More so the four Defenders were inexperienced in terms of actual combat. Tai had the most experience hence why he was in charge of them. Of course, despite not being the actual Ams Kvaris the Ams Krons were still formidable foes especially for those with little to no combat experience. Moka used fire elemental attacks from her wand while Luka went brute force against the DOLLS, he and Moka were fighting. At the same time Tai and Sam were hitting their foe from a distance covering the other if it got to close to them.

So, it came as no surprise when the tides of battle turned in favor towards the two DOLLS Units here. Luka was blocking a powerful punch but was sent hurdling back from the sudden impact. "Luka!" Moka cried out when she saw her brother in trouble. But before she could move to heal him Moka was forced to dodge the DOLLS Unit attack on her.

"Dammit!" Tai cursed realizing his younger sister was in danger. But he was unable to help as the Ams Krons went for a powerful drop kick forcing him and Sam to dodge to avoid it. The group of four were being pushed back by the Ams Krons and needless to say it seemed like this was where they would punch their ticket in the end.

Just then Moka was knocked into the wall crying out in pain from both the attack and the impact. Landing on the ground the Ams Krons stood over Moka ready to end the young Defender's life in front of her three remaining brothers.

"NO!" Luka cried out while Sam gasped in shock to this situation.

Just then a surprise showed up as all of a sudden Koga jumped down and cleaved the Ams Kros in two with his Katana drawn. The DOLLS came undone and soon enough the ARKS Defender stood up, switched to his bow, and fired off arrows at the second Ams Kros.

The remaining Ams Kros was then riddled with arrows distracting it long enough for Sam to blast the DOLLS unit back. "Koga!" Tai called out surprised to see Koga that his brother was here now.

"Less talking more fighting!" Koga called out ready to fight the still living DOLLS Unit.

"Yeah!" Luka called as he got back up but then stumbled because of his injuries. Just then Moka ran over and used a spell to heal up her elder brother. "Thanks sis." Luka said with a smile to his sister.

"Come on!" Tai called out and thus the five siblings moved in on Ams Kros. "With their combined efforts they were able to dispatch the Ams Kros hitting each of its cores to disrupt the DOLLS Unit's flow of power.

Enhancing everyone's stats Moka covered the rear and in turn Luka and Koga charged in with Tai and Sam providing cover fire. They moved in and took out the last Ams Kros causing it to explode in a red cross.

"Koga!" Tai called out and ran over to their now found brother.

"Dude where the heck were you?" Luka asked wanting answers from the Braver.

"When you vanished before the attack, we feared the worse." Sam said as Koga then sighed to this.

"I was caught off guard." Koga admitted as he crossed his arms a bit with an aloof look in his eyes. "When I came to Commando Droids were already controlling the hub and they deployed DOLLS to hunt us down." Koga said meaning they were in trouble.

"Well, you did want action, Luka." Sam said as he looked over to Luka.

"Sam this is not the time." Moka said making it clear they had more pressing concerns.

"She's right, we need to get word out to ARKS let them know what's going on?" Tai said and in turn Luka thought it over.

"What are you thinking about?" Koga asked with concern for his brother.

"Eh… I may have a few ideas but nothing we can use at the moment." Luka said as the ideas he had currently had some kinks to be concerned with before using them.

"Well, it's a start." Tai said but then Koga cut in again.

"Look we can talk later but right now we still have DOLLS hunting us." Koga said and for good reason as well.

"Right let's go." Tai said and thus the siblings got moving.

Of course, their journey would be cut short by the sound of an ARKS Dropships engines approaching the communication hub. "We've gone silent they've sent a team to investigate!" Sam called out happy that the cavalry had arrived to help.

"Just one issue, do they even know that the hub is under enemy control?" Koga said voicing the biggest issue.

"He's right we need to warn them fast." Luka said which Sam went to do.

"I'm already on it." Sam said as he began to try to contact the arrivals.

(Meanwhile on the landing platform)

The ARKS Dropship arrived and had successfully landed on the sight and had opened the doors to allow Plo and Cora to depart from it. As they made their way through Cora kept her gunblade drawn just in case of trouble on the landing pad.

"Strange." Plo said as he noted something amiss around here.

"Agreed, ARKS protocol states that the Landing Pad must be manned by a guard at all times." Cora said as she glared around the area from under her ARKS helmet. "Either they're sloppy or there is something very wrong here." Cora added which Plo agreed with.

"My thoughts exactly captain." Plo said ready for anything that may try to attack.

Just then the door to the main communications hub opened up with one of the ARKS Defenders assigned here exiting. From there they saw the yellow wearing ARKS Defenders approaching them which Plo sensed to be something amiss about this.

"Welcome to the Kvaris Communication Hub." The Disguised Defender seemingly Sam said as he looked to the duo before him. "We apologize for the communications malfunction, and we are currently attempting to remedy the situation we hope that it will be repaired after you've made the trip back." He said as the Jedi and ARKS Operative gave the Defender a skeptical look.

"Unfortunately, we don't have time for repairs, why hasn't the Hub link been transferred to the auxiliary station?" Cora asked as the ARKS defender looked worried.

"We have been experiencing issues with the data transfer and are attempting a bypass even now." The Defender said and thus Cora raised a brow to this.

"I see… well then maybe we can offer you a few extra hands." Cora said as Plo nodded to this.

"Yes, the sooner we can get communications operational again the sooner we can proceed with the battle down below." Plo said as he and Cora began to approach only to be stopped by the Defender.

"There is no need we are almost finished with the repairs." The Fake Defender said attempting to chase the two off from the Communication Hub.

(Meanwhile with the Hub Team)

Sam was still attempting to contact the General and Captain but had only gotten static. "Sam what's the hold up?" Tai asked with concern.

"Their comm. Links must be on a different frequency." Sam said adjusting his helmet a bit but then Koga had an idea.

"But we need to get that signal out and GAUG!" Moka cried out at the end when Koga busted out his Bow and fired off a flare to the sky.

"Dude warning next time!" Luka cried out as Koga smirked to this.

"As long as it gets the job done." Koga responded as he smirked to his brother.

(Meanwhile back on the Landing Pad)

The duo saw the Photon Flare and in turn knew that it was a warning. Acting fast Cora pulled out her Gunblade and fired off a round into the fake Defender. When she did, she went over and pulled off the helmet revealing the Commando Droid underneath the ARKS Helmet.

"A Commando Droid." Plo said as he recognized this droid from some of his previous battles against the Separatist forces.

"If this came out to greet us that means." Cora began but was cut off by laser fire curtesy of several more Command Droids. "Ambush!" Cora called out as she returned fire while Plo had his saber drawn deflecting the laser bolts sent his way. Moving to cover the pair made it behind a set of crates and in turn Cora used it as cover to fire at the Droids.

"We need to warn the others!" Cora called to Plo as the Pilot was also in danger.

"Pilot take off without us!" Plo called into his communicator to the ARKS Pilot for the dropship.

"Sir? Are you sure?" The Pilot asked with concern for Plo and Cora.

"You must get word back of this!" Plo said and thus the pilot nodded.

"I… understand taking off now." The pilot said and thus got ready to escape.

"Give him cover." Plo ordered to Cora who nodded to the Jedi General.

"Yes sir." Cora said and in turn moved out of cover to draw the Commando Droids attention towards both herself and Plo. The Jedi soon followed Cora as he deflected laser shots and used the force to tip the balance in their favor to ensure the dropship escapes to warn ARKS Command.

Firing her gunblade Cora kept the heat off the dropship with Plo providing aid until the Commando Droids decided to pull out the big guns. Grabbing a rocket launcher, the Commando Droid took aim at the dropship causing Cora to act fast. Just as it was about to pull the trigger Cora fired upon the droid and when the Photon Bullet hit the rocket the entire thing blew up. Following it up the Droids started throwing grenades causing the duo to panic from this scene.

"Jump!" Plo called and thus the duo ran off the ledge just before the explosives could go off on them. The Dropship flew off while the entire landing site went up in smoke as the paid managed to succeed in holding off the enemy attack long enough for the dropship to escape back to ARKS. The Commando Droids approached the scene and found no signs of Cora or Plo there suggesting that the grenades might have vaporized them. Either that or they had managed to escape from them.

"Return to defensive positions, if they had survived Ams Kvaris will deal with them." The lead Droid said and in turn the Droids went back to their duties of defending their position in the hub.

However, hanging from a tow cable was Plo-Koon who was holding Cora making a gesture for her to keep silent. Following this up he began to slowly lower down to the ground bellow to avoid being detected by the enemy. Once they got to the ground it was clear to them both that their forces bellow were in deep trouble.

"This complicates things." Plo said seeing that they needed to take back the communication hub so their forces can win. But just then movement was heard and in turn Cora acted and pointed her gunblade at the unknown movements source. Plo saw this and through the Force sensed something other than a threat from the movement.

From the wood line the five ARKS Defenders appeared and approached the Jedi and ARKS Operative. "Thank goodness you're ok." Moka said but then found Cora's Gunblade against them.

"Wow take it easy we're friendlies!" Sam cried out putting his hands up in surrender.

"Cora stand down!" Plo called out making Cora lower her weapon to avoid friendly fire. "Take off your helmets let me see your faces." Plo said to the ARKS Defenders. In response the five defenders looked between each other and shrugged before each of them removed their helmets revealing who they are to the Jedi.

"About time the guys down there sent help." Koga said as he looked to the pair that were sent here.

"Who is the highest-ranking officer here?" Cora asked getting down to business with the five.

"That would be me, ma'am." Tai said stepping forward to meet with Cora and Plo. "Well technically it would be you two now." Tai said correcting himself to bring this information up to the pair.

"Very well you I'm Cora you will refer to me as Commander or ma'am." Cora began getting right down to I when meeting these rookies.

"Yes, ma'am!" The five ARKS siblings all chorist with each other to acknowledge their new commanding officer.

"I am Jedi Master Plo Koon of the Republic and as of right now your boss." Plo said as he stepped up to speak to the ARKS Defenders stationed up here. "Now I assume that the Separatists and Dark Falz have taken over this communication station we must work quickly if we are to reclaim it." Plo said knowing they had to take back the base.

"But sir how?" Tai asked as he looked between the Captain and the Jedi Master. He had doubts they could take back the communication center without issue. "In fact, ARKS Protocol would suggest that we should attempt to signal for reinforcements or alert command." Tai said but then Cora began to chuckle when she heard those words.

"It seems we have here a set of New Stars." Cora said as she stood up looking to the five.

"New Stars?" Koga asked the Operative with a raised brow.

"Your Photonic power its new like a newly born star." Cora said giving a bit of inspiration to the rookies.

"Look lady with all due respect, we don't give a damn." Luka said as he glared at Cora a bit. "We'll take back our base regardless of if we're New Stars or Stars about to go Super Nova." Luka said making it clear he won't let their enemies win this.

"Well said." Plo said as he showed a bit of pride in these Five Defenders. "And I believe I may have a means to get us back inside." Plo said gesturing to the base having an idea on how they can get inside the base.

"And we better get it done soon." Koga said as he had his scope out looking down towards the battle bellow. "Because we have a problem at the base." Koga said and thus the group saw where this was going.

"Look at all those DOLLS." Moka said as Tai saw what this meant for ARKS.

"If we don't take those DOLLS out Kvaris will fall." Tai said as the danger was becoming real for them.

(Later at the main entrance)

The Ams Krons were currently patrolling the area once more. Their prey had not been found and they had lost contact with others of their ilk. It seems that their foes had either escaped or died but even if they escaped, they would never make it back to Kvaris City to warn them of the coming attack to take Kvaris.

Just then movement was heard as the two Ams Krons looked only to see nothing. Unknown to them their prey had returned to their den and this time they would take back the Communication Hub from the invading DOLLS Units. Koga and Cora each took positions with Koga having his bow and Cora with her gunblade both ready to fight. Tai and Sam were the same as Tai had his duel guns out and Sam had his cannon charged up.

The group then saw Plo was making his approach out in the open. The ARKS Defenders and one ARKS Operative saw this while the Defenders all got worried for Plo. The Ams Krons saw the Jedi Master and made their approach to eliminate the Jedi. Plo then stopped as he then used the Force to bring large crates upward before swiping his arms down to bring the two DOLLS down.

This was the signal as the ARKS members all came out of hiding and began to open fire. The ARKS members fire off laser shots, energy arrows, and techniques down upon the two DOLLS Units. The laser shorts went on for a bit until the two DOLLS fell down and exploded into two crimson crosses. Once the threat was dealt with the group went over to the doors as Moka began to work on opening them.

"Permission to take point ma'am." Tai said making his request to Cora.

"I take point rookie." Cora said making it clear she was in charge.

"That you do Commander." Plo said and thus Moka smiled with a green light.

"It's open!" Moka announced and thus the door slid open. Once inside the group made their way inside taking out any DOLLS Units that were patrolling the Communication Hubs halls.

(Later in the control room)

Commando Droids were seen manning the stations with DOLLS Units patrolling making sure all went according to their grand plan. However, they did not expect the door to suddenly slide open and with it a barrage of lasers to come sizzling through taking out the Commando Droids begore they could organize themselves. The DOLLS Units were on the case as well as a few surviving Droids and began to attack.

Koga, Luka, Plo, and Cora took point with Moka supporting them as they all worked in unison to take out the enemy units attacking them. The job was quick and efficient and in turn the Command Station was finally reclaimed. Once that was done the ones who originally manned the stations returned to their posts to check for the damages.

Sam was the first to speak as he saw that they had a new issue to worry about. "No, no; NO!" Sam cursed as he saw that they had a new problem.

"Well, what's the situation?" Cora asked when she noted a scowl on some of the ARKS Defenders faces.

"The Droids hotwired the signal to display the, all clear." Sam said as he was trying to override it but to no avail. "We can't turn it off and warn Kvaris of the invading force." Sam added but the news got worse. "They also took out our outbound communications." Sam said showing the damages on the console preventing their communications.

"Can you fix it?" Luka asked knowing their father was down there leading Kvaris City.

"No by the time I can the invading army will have already arrived at Kvaris City." Sam said as they needed a plan B now.

"Assuming the Pilot makes it in time they can at least hold off the invasion." Plo said seeing that they needed a plan to win.

Just then Luka had a lightbulb moment went off as he had a brilliant idea. "Ding!" Luka announced as he got the groups attention. "Let's cause an avalanche!" Luka called out as this got everyone looking at him in shock and confusion.

"Did you hit your head again or have you lost your dammed mind?!" Koga asked glaring at Luka for suggesting such a plan.

"No hear me out." Luka said as he began to detail his plan. "If we can take out the Communications Hub, we can cause the Avalanche to take out the enemy forces." Luka said as the mountain had a bit of a slop towards the area outside Kvaris City. "We can warn Kvaris, give them a fighting chance, and take out the enemy forces all in one huge ass move." Luka said as he showed off his plan to everyone.

"That might just work." Cora said seeing that it was their best bet.

"But ma'am we're supposed to defend the base." Sam said with concern over destroying the Communications Hub.

"We have to warn Kvaris of the threat level." Plo said assuring Sam it would be alright. "Now is there any explosive devices around here?" Plo asked and thus Koga smirked to this one.

"Leave that to me." Koga said showing he had an idea.

(Down over in Kvaris City)

Alarms were blaring as defenses began to activate with Yaga glaring over the walls to see the approaching DOLLS and Falspawn forces. What was cause for concern for ARKS was that leading the charge was Dark Falz [Elder] The Gargantuan. Yaga saw this as Wolfe stood close to the councilman.

"Well, that's not a pretty picture." Yaga said seeing that they were about to have some issues coming their way.

"Orders Councilman?" Wolfe asked looking towards Yaga awaiting his orders.

"Get some boots on the ground and prepare to defend." Yaga said while punching his fist into his open palm. "We need to make sure they don't take Kvaris but make sure we got guys defending the civilians." Yaga said putting civilian lives before anything.

"Yes sir." Wolfe said as he then began to call those who can get the job done. Yaga however was glaring at Elder knowing full well only he had a chance at taking him down. His Cosmogenic Arms gave him an edge other ARKS don't but at the same time if he was not careful, he'll be a walking burn pork if he doesn't end the coming fight fast enough. Still Yaga had a duty to perform for ARKS as a member of the Council of Six and that was to defend ARKS with every breath, he had in him. Still, what was life without a bit of a challenge?

So, with a cocky yet excited grin on his face Yaga began to make his way to meet with the troops ARKS and Clones alike. Yaga was not going to give up so easily and he planned to stand his ground against every and all foes that comes his way.

(Back at the Communication Hub)

The group was seen setting up the explosives around the Communication Hub preparing to blow up the base. It was a bitter thought but in war one had to make sacrifices like this for victory. Sam was synching up the detonator to the main explosives as Luka and Tai were getting the rest of it. Moka was downloading any sensitive information from the servers to her Mag while Koga was making sure that even after the Hub was destroyed, they can rebuild it somewhere else.

Plo and Cora did their part to assist the ARKS Defenders to help set up the explosives or purge their servers of any sensitive information. Cora seeing, they were on the right path made her way over to Sam to check on his progress.

"Are those explosives ready?" Cora asked wanting to get this done as soon as they could.

"Just about." Sam said confirming they were ready to move.

"Servers are purged of sensitive information." Moka reported as well confirming to the commanding officers they were ready to go.

"Well done." Plo said seeing that it was time for them to make their escape.

"Uh guys the exit may not be a good idea." Tai reported and thus the group ran over to the screen he was looking at that showed everyone the exterior. Outside their front door more DOLLS Units were on the way in ready to take the Communication Hub and kill everyone inside of the base.

"Well shit." Luka said realizing they could not use the front door like they planned.

"This way!" Koga called as he gestured to the vent, they used in their escape from the hub the last time the DOLLS had invaded.

Plo seeing this held the grate open while the ARKS Defenders went in followed by Cora with Plo being the last one to get through. Sam also made sure to bring the detonator along knowing that they were going to let the enemy forces in and blow them all up.

(Back over at Kvaris City)

The cities outer defenses were well underway in combat as laser fire were going off from both sides of things. DOLLS and Falspawn were firing their lasers as Kvaris Cities Shields tried to hold out. "Hold the line!" Yaga called out with his gunblade drawn as he fired at the enemy from the cover provided to them by the trenches. Republic and ARKS Tanks fired off their shots at the enemy forces, but their foes were proving to be frustrating.

Both sides of the conflict were trying to get the upper hand over the other as Yaga hid behind his cover to find Wolfe there. "Any signs of Elder?" Yaga asked as Elder had vanished after the massive attack began.

"No sir." Wolfe reported which was cause for concern now.

"Where did that battle nut go?" Yaga growled fearing Elder may be up to something. "Keep me posted if Elder shows up, I want to know about it." Yaga said which Wolfe nodded in understanding.

"Yes sir." Wolfe said and thus relayed the order to the other forces to keep an eye out for Elder. Just then explosions was heard from their tanks when a comet like energy shot into it. Looking to the source the duo saw that Elder had taken out one of their Tanks before moving back and heading to the next one.

"Shit!" Yaga cursed as he saw Elder wrecking shit. Yaga moved in to stop Elder knowing that he could not allow Elder to do as he pleased. "Wolfe take care of the men!" Yaga ordered to Wolfe informing him what needed to be done.

"Yes sir!" Wolfe responded and started issuing orders to the troops while Yaga faced Elder.

Meanwhile Elder took out another tank as he tore the big gun off from the walker before he slammed it into where it came from. As Elder growled it was shown to be in his battle form as he dealt a major blow to the opposing Republic and ARKS forces. Still Elder was not satisfied with this, he needed more. More enemies to best, more challenging foes to conquer; Elder was a warrior and he desired what any warrior desired a battle worthy of him.

Just then a new voice was heard a voice Elder was familiar with. "Hey Elder!" Yaga was heard and as soon as Elder turned to face this foe he was met with a punch from Yaga's knuckles square in the face. The force of the attack sent Elder flying back, but the Dark Falz managed to regain himself as he glared at Yaga recalling the last time they had fought.

"Yaga of the Council of Six." Elder said glaring at Yaga with his crimson red eyes.

"So, you remember me, now I'm flattered." Yaga said with a grin on his face. "Too bad I have to take you down." Yaga said glaring at Elder knowing the level of damages that he was causing to Kvaris City with his invading forces.

"I remember the name of any warrior worthy of my time." Elder said as he glared at the ARKS Operative.

"Well, that's good to know." Yaga said as he flexed his hands into fists causing the joints to start cracking. The two glared at each other both taking battle stance despite all the fighting going on around them. Soon enough the charged at each other in full fury before they clashed with a blast of a collision of Yaga's Photons and Dark Falz Elder's F-Factor.

It was now a full-blown fist fight of epic proportions as both fighters were using their respective powers to enhance their own physical strengths. A punch clashed and the shockwave knocked them both back, but both quickly regained their footing. Elder blasted his way towards Yaga and the two once again clashed against each other attempting to gain headway against Yaga while also trying to enjoy his fight with Yaga.

The two once more began to clash fists as they tried to overpower the other. The fight was already gearing up to be a great one as Elder eventually managed to get a good strike in via a punch to the face that sent Yaga flying. Yaga ended up hitting and denting a destroyed Tank before he fell out of the Dent. Getting back up Yaga felt something in his mouth before spitting it out and saw it was a tooth. Smirking Yaga knew he was about to have the time of his life here.

(Back at the Communication Hub)

The DOLLS had broken through the doors and were at the moment making their way into the facility. As they entered, they found that the entire base was empty which was strange seeing all the trouble ARKS went through to retake it from the DOLLS.

Looking around the DOLLS suspected something was amiss and knew they had to find out what. It was when they entered the command center that the truth made itself known. Heading towards the large container the DOLLS inspected it their scanners trying to figure out what exactly they were seeing. Moving closer to it they noticed a red light on it as it almost sounded like it was… a timer.

(Meanwhile outside of the Hub)

The entire unit stood outside in a safe area that should be relatively safe from the Avalanche. Sam held the trigger and smirked a bit. Sam then pulled the trigger giving their explosives the signal they needed to go off.

(Back inside the Command Center)

The green light soon turned red and in turn began to glow in the DOLLS Units faces. They proceeded to explode and in turn take out everything that was inside supplies and enemy forces in a mighty blaze of fury.

(Back outside with the unit)

Plo watched as the entire base exploded taking out everything inside and around it. The result was instant as the blast of fire went about with heat and blast began a chain reaction. The Snow at the mountain was disturbed in mass and in turn began to show the clear signs of an avalanche. The Snow began to move with the destroyed base as burning metal and supplies began to descend down the mountain alongside the path of the avalanche.

The Jedi, ARKS Operative, and five ARKS Defenders watched the scene play out knowing they not only got the warning out and hopefully managed to assist their allies down below. As they watched the avalanche take place, they could not worry that it might end up going horribly wrong somehow.

(Back over at Kvaris City)

The explosion at the Communication Hub was one thing that caught the forces bellow off guard. The second shock came in the form of what came after. The Communication Hub was coming down and with it a large Avalanche was tumbling down towards the battle. Wolfe saw this and acted fast to issue the next order to their forces on the ground.

"ALL UNITS FALL BACK TO THE DEFENSIVE LINE!" Wolfe called out the order and in turn the entirety of their forces made a break to the Kvaris City defensive line to get out of the range of the Avalanche coming down towards them.

Yaga saw this and ran for it as Elder was caught in the Avalanche with a good chunk of his own forces. Yaga was screaming in terror as he ran for the Defensive lines knowing if he was caught then he was as good as dead. Wolfe saw Yaga running for it as the Councilman's mans eyes were widen in terror as if not for the scene behind him, he would almost look comedic running.

The Avalanche was coming towards them and as every units ARKS and Clone ran the enemy forces was caught in the path of the attack. After what felt like hours the avalanche came to an end and over 80% of the invading forces were lost to the Avalanche. Some of the DOLLS and Falspawn had survived but now the tides of battle has been turned.

Yaga was catching his breath with his hands on his knees as Wolfe ran over to him. "Councilman are you alright?" Wolfe asked as Yaga smiled to the Clone Commander.

"Yeah, no worries, I just outran an avalanche." Yaga said as he was catching his breath. "Pops always said a bit of an adrenaline rush never hurt anyone." Yaga laughed as he soon leveled his breathing before speaking up again. "Find me the guy who came up with this plan I want to punch him in the face and then give him a promotion." Yaga laughed as this was the sort of plan he would enjoy.

"Sir the source of it came from the communication hub." Wolfe said as just then an ARKS Operative was heard.

"Dropship inbound!" An ARKS Operative announced and with it the group looked and saw a drop ship coming in, the one Plo and Cora had taken to head on up to the Communication Hub. When the ship landed in the area the pilot stepped out not long after as all eyes were on him.

"What happened?" Yaga asked however before he could do anything the snow burst open from varying areas. The group all looked and saw much to their shock several DOLLS Units and Falspawn rising from the snow and one of them was Elder looking right angry.

"Oh shit." Yaga said realizing the battle was not over.

"Orders sir?" Wolfe asked and thus Yaga glared at the scene.

"I'll take care of Elder, while the rest of you take on the Falspawn and DOLLS." Yaga said but he was not done yet. "Then I want a unit sent up to pick up our guys from the destroyed Communication Hub." Yaga said and thus Wolfe nodded to this as their forces returned to the front lines for battle.

The ARKS Operatives, Defenders, and Clone Troopers clashed with the Falspawn and DOLLS Units as Yaga and Elder once more clashed. The two fighters fists clashes with each other as they proceeded to a pure on battle of martial arts. Yaga showed his strength as part of the Council of Six as Elder showed his might as a Dark Falz. The two glared at each other before they parted ways and circled each other for a moment ready to fight.

They kept up their fight both sides attempting to overpower the other with show of power and martial strength. Fist to fist Photon to F-Factor both sides were attempting to overpower the other and it seemed to be a close fight between the two warriors. Soon they parted and were once more circling the other ready to go another round.

"Your impressive Councilor." Elder said with a smirk on his face. "I expected one of your position to hardly put much of a fight." Elder said with a grin towards Yaga.

"Yeah, we don't just let anyone become a member of the Council of Six." Yaga said as he had a good feeling where this line of talk was going. "But how about we take off the kid gloves and really got all out." Yaga said as he prepared to awaken his Cosmogenic Arms, the knuckle weapons Asura and Ifrit.

"Yes, stimulate my existence show me the limit you have warrior." Elder said as he then drew his mighty blade as his wings shot out from his back releasing energy.

"GLADLY!" Yaga roared out and was now ready to released Asura and Ifrit. "RAGE ASURA AND BURN IFRIT!" Yaga roared as he crossed his arms over his head as flames were released from between the segments of the weapons seal. The chains melted off and as before Asura took its form of a Buddhist motif and Ifrit a flaming goat. With a roar Yaga released a burst of flames from his Cosmogenic Arms and was ready to end Elder's assault. The two then charged at each other and when they clashed flames and energy blasted out around from the impact.

(Back over with Plo's unit)

"Ok mission accomplished now let's get down there and help clean up." Luka said which they were all in agreement.

But Plo sensed something and stopped Luka from ground further. "Stop!" Plo called out stopping Luka and when he did the snow burst out and from it Ams Kvaris had risen up ready for battle.

"Oh, come on!" Koga bemoaned as he thought their troubles were over after all that.

"It would seem that we have one more threat to deal with." Plo said as he noted his similar Ams Kvaris was to Elder's own battle form. With this he suspected that this will be a difficult fight to defeat this DOLLS.

"On your order General." Cora said drawing her Gunblade ready to do battle. The ARKS Defenders did the same and in turn they were all ready to fight against and defeat Ams Kvaris. The seven fighters all charged in and began their attack against their foe. Sam and Tai circled around the DOLLS and fired their weapons off while Luka and Koga moved in close to attack with their blades. Sword and Katana clashed against the DOLLS Unit while Moka stuck to the back providing support.

Once the first assault was done Plo moved in with his lightsaber ignited and clashed the blade against the DOLLS Unit. Cora assisted with her Jedi General providing him with cover fire before she got close with her gunblade with its blade. The Jedi and ARKS Operative proved to work well together as they continued with their attack on the DOLLS Unit.

Luka saw Arms Kvaris glare at him and in turn Yaga was forced to block the DOLLS oncoming attack. He succeeded but was knocked back by the opposing foe. Sliding across the ground Luka hit the wall and in turn saw he was cornered. Just as Ams Kvaris was about to attacks it was suddenly hit by a fire technique that set the DOLLS aflame.

Following it up a powerful beam hit it sending it flying away from Luka. "Moka hurry and heal Luka!" Sam called out holding his cannon after firing it off.

"Right!" Moka said and in turn turned towards Luka. "Luka!" Moka called as she ran over and performed her support role for the sibling team.

"Thanks sis." Luka said as Moka focused on healing her brother.

"Someone has to make sure you don't get yourself killed." Moka joked as she focused her attention on healing Luka. During this Tai and Sam move towards Ams Kvaris firing at him with their weapons before Koga came in and sliced at it with his Katana. Ams Kvaris seen freed himself from the fire and went on the attack which had Tai and Sam move out of the way of the DOLLS. Following it up Plo attacked again as Ams Kvaris proved to have some thick hide to challenge a Lightsaber.

Plo then jumped back as Koga and Cora attacked again at close range. The two struck against the DOLLS before it managed to knock them back. But this left Ams Kvaris open to a surprise attack from Luka who sliced down with his sword drawn. He then moved back as they then all circled around Ams Kvaris ready to finish it off here and now.

"Wait be careful!" Sam called out and true to his word Ams Kvaris began to change. His blue coloring turned red as he roared out and wild untamed energy formed from his back like tendrils. Round two was starting and now Ams Kvaris was no longer holding himself back against ARKS.

With a mighty roar Ams Kvaris once more attacked the group by summoning a massive hand of energy to swipe at them. The group was forced to move out of the way before Ams Kvaris slammed the same hand down causing them to scatter. Following this up Ams fired off several energy bullets at the foes around him intended on taking them out with it. Luka, Moka, and Koga were forced to block with their Photons while Plo was forced to dodge the attacks with Cora, Sam, and Tai. Once the shots stopped Sam fired a powerful beam from his cannon intent on taking out Ams Kvaris. Ams Kvaris was hit but all it did this time was served to anger the DOLLS Unit.

Ams Kvaris vanished into a ball of light and reappeared behind the group before he fired off a powerful beam of energy. The beam was powerful enough that the group had to get out of the way as it had melted the snow in its path.

"Well, he's pissed." Luka said seeing that Ams Kvaris was not holding back anymore.

"That means we've cornered it." Koga said ready to end this fight here and now. "Its time to take this thing out!" Koga added and thus the team began their counterassault to destroy Ams Kvaris.

In turn the group began their attack. Cora, Tai, and Sam attacked from a distance. Meanwhile Plo, Koga, and Luka got close in their attack. All the while Moka was providing the team with support via healing and boosts in their abilities. Moka even got a few good hits in to help her brothers, the ARKS Operative, and Jedi master. The battle continued to go in their favor as Arms Kvaris was finding itself pushed into a corner once more even after releasing his limitations.

Ams Kvaris was losing steam as he tried to keep his assault going but the onslaught, he was enduring was becoming too much for him. Seeing this the ARKS Defenders, the Jedi Master, and the ARKS Operative all began their final run to end Ams. "Photon Blasts now!" Cora called out and in turn the group all understood the order.

In response each of the members of ARKS began to unleash their Photon Blasts on Ams Kvaris one-by-one. The attacks hit their target dead on as each hit sent Ams. Kvaris further towards his defeat. Ams. Kvaris fell to his knees unable to keep going yet still had enough steam so to keep on fighting. Alas Plo would not allow that as the Jedi Master soon cleaved the DOLLS Unit in two with his lightsaber. The blade carved through the DOLLS and in turn Ams Kvaris taking the shape of a crimson cross like other DOLLS Units when they're destroyed.

"Alright we won!" Luka called out with a cheer as he used his sword to keep himself standing exhausted after the ordeal they had endured.

"Well done all of you." Plo said as he saw that these five young ARKS Defenders all had potential in them to become something great.

"After all of that they should be sending ships are way now." Tai said knowing the Avalanche should have gotten ARKS attention on their situation.

"Or not." Koga said and pointed down below. Thus, the group saw what Koga saw pointing out. Down below explosions were going off at different areas of Kvaris suggesting a big fight was going down.

(Back with Yaga vs Elder)

Yaga and Elder were zooming across the battlefield duking it out no longer holding themselves back in this man-to-man fight. Every clash they made released a concussive blast of force as the Dark Falz and Council of Six Member fought. The flames of Asura and Ifrit were burning hot and to some it was clear the fire was spreading across Yaga's body. Clearly his Cosmogenic arms weakness is that he suffers from severe heat damage whenever he activates the weapon. Despite this Achilles heel Yaga kept fighting already forming an idea in his head on how to win this fight.

Yaga back flipped away as Elder charged into attack. Yaga then jumped up before brought his hands together and slammed them down on Elder's head sending the Dark Falz slamming into the ground. Elder then followed it up by spinning and kicking Yaga which sent him flying back a bit. Elder stomped and charged Yaga who blocked the attack but was now being pushed back through several trees. Yaga held on for a bit but glancing back Yaga saw a wall coming his way. Gritting his teeth Yaga forced his feet up and in turn they landed against the wall much to Elder's shock.

Yaga then used the flames of his gauntlet to propel and spin himself to send Elder flying up the wall. Yaga was not done using the flames to propel himself further Yaga went after Elder who glared at the ARKS Operative and clashed his blade against Yaga's gauntlet. The two went at it for a bit in the sky before Elder grabbed Yaga and threw him towards the ground with a spin for momentum. Yaga went flying downward before he used his gauntlets flames once more to stop his flight but in doing so melted the snow around him.

Before Yaga could get himself, grounded Elder came in with a drop kick crashing Yaga into the ground creating a crater from the impact of the kick. The ground was soon being torn apart as Elder continued his onslaught against Yaga tearing things apart as he went. The two soon shot out of the ground their battle tearing apart Kvaris as they continued to their clash. The two were soon deadlocked as Yaga blocked a blade strike from Elder with his gauntlets sparks forming from the friction between the two weapons.

"Impressive never have I met a human who lasted this long against me in single combat." Elder said with a grin on his demonic face. Clearly Elder was enjoying this battle to his heart's content.

"Thanks, pal you're not so bad yourself." Yaga said with a grin on his face. "Shame that you're a Dark Falz, you'd have made for one kick ass ARKS Operative." Yaga added before the two parted from each other and continued their battle with Yaga's flames spearing further across him.

"Regardless I already know how this fight will end, those flames of yours are spreading and soon you will be turned to ash by them." Elder said as he knew how this will end. "Even if you defeat me at least I take satisfaction that we may continue this clash in the next world!" Elder called out as the two continued to go at it.

"Just shut up and fight!" Yaga yelled as they continued their clash of epic proportions. Fists clashed blade sliced the two fighters were locked in combat with ARKS and Clone Troopers bearing witness it all. The two continued to fight as Yaga seemed to be guiding the fight somewhere as the fire continued to spread up from his gauntlets. Already Yaga could feel the flames reaching towards his skin and with it the painful burns that would surely follow suit.

(At the Kvaris City Defense)

Clone Troopers, ARKS Operatives, and ARKS Defenders were in the thick of it as they were cleaning up the last of the DOLLS and Falspawn. A Clone Trooper threw a grenade into the cannon of a DOLLS walker while an ARKS Operative jumped onto its back and fired into its core.

Of course, some of the troopers and members of ARKS stopped when they noticed the fight between Yaga and Elder from afar. The battle was getting attention for varying areas of the armies counter offensive against the invading forces. Yaga and Elder were really going at it to try and end this battle now.

(Back to Yaga vs Elder)

The two fighters were still locked in combat moving at blinding speed to try and one up each other. It seemed the two were evenly matched, but Yaga made a mistake in his footing allowing for Elder to exploit it. "I got you now!" Elder roared and in turn grabbed Yaga by his head slammed him into the ground and then grinded him against the ground until he arrived at the ledge to a gorge. Elder then jumped up and proceeded to throw Yaga straight down into the gorge with enough force that when he hit it the ground and ice broke apart creating a smokescreen of debris upon impact.

Elder glared down at Yaga and jumped down to make sure that Yaga was actually beaten. Entering the gorge Elder made his way towards the center of the crater where Yaga had crashed to find Yaga seemingly dead with his body unmoving yet his Cosmogenic arms still burning.

"This is the end; this is proof that I Dark Falz [Elder] The Gargantuan am the strongest there is." Elder said while making his way towards Yaga.

But then Yaga's mouth formed into a grin followed by laughter as if Yaga had done something amazing. "Jeez is that all?" Yaga asked as Elder stopped and was wide eyed when he heard this. Yaga began to rise up as his grin never left his face showing that Elder may have made a mistake during the fight just now. "Welcome to Raygorge Gorge the coldest place in all of Kvaris so cold in fact that you will need special equipment to endure it." Yaga said his grin on full display.

"What?!" Elder asked and soon enough Elder felt that his body began to tense up with ice forming around it.

"See anything here that enters without proper gear and enhancers to survive it will find themselves freezing on the spot." Yaga said as the ARKS Operative grinned at Elder. "Me on the other hand well this helps because like you said My Cosmogenic Arm would have turned me to ash if I didn't end this soon enough but here well you just helped me balance it out." Yaga said and in turn gave Elder a double finger gun. "You just cooled me off Elder." Yaga finished and in turn Elder glared at Yaga. Yaga then let loose a mighty roar as he let the flames go wild around him forming into an aura of burning Photons his overburn.

Elder was angry this infuriating ARKS Operative… he made him want to give this everything he had. So, with this in mind Elder charged in to finally put an end to Yaga and to this battle. Elder threw aside his weapon wanting to end this with his own two fists and in turn Yaga charged as well and both become beams of energy as they went at it. The two clashed with each other fists flying in ways impossible to keep track even with the Force.

The fists flew for a bit until Elder was punched straight in the stomach knocking the air out of him and forcing his mouth open. Elder was launched across the field and into the wall, yet he was not done with this fight. Elder instead laughed as he got back up for this Dark Falz was enjoying this fight to his hearts content. "YES, ARKS THAT'S THE WAY!" Elder cheered as he was feeling something he had not felt in a long time. "YOU TRULY ARE WORTH THE EFFORT YAGA!" Elder boasted further wanting to enjoy this fight all the way to its bitter end.

However, Yaga was already in front of Elder and sent a barrage of consecutive punches towards Elder. The force of the punches ended with an uppercut that sent Elder flying to the sky above the Gorge. "I WILL DEFEAT YOU!" Elder yelled as this was a win, he would enjoy the sort of victory that made him work for it. Elder in turn began to focus all of his energy into his coup de grace his final attack. This attack would not only kill Yaga but blast Kvaris and all of Halpha straight to Hell. Elder began to summon forth a massive sphere of dark energy that he then hurl at Yaga destroying him and everything around him in one fell swoop.

(With Apprentice over in Retem)

Apprentice was leading an attack when she saw the massive sphere of energy being formed. "Elder you idiot get a grip!" Apprentice yelled fearing they would need to cut their losses and run like hell.

(With Persona over in Aelio)

Standing atop the Research and power station Persona stared and saw what Elder was about to do. "That blasted fool!" Persona said realizing Elder had let his bloodlust get the best of him.

(With Vader over in Stia)

Vader snarled as he saw that Elder was about to ruin everything. They were about to lose Halpha because Elder got carried away again. Their only hope was that ARKS had a means to counter Elder before they all ended up dead in a planetary destruction event caused by Elder.

(Back with Yaga vs Elder)

Yaga saw this and grinned as he took a battle stance ready to end this with his own final move. Clenching his fists Yaga got ready to face Elder's final attack head on with fear. Yaga only needed his fists to end this battle and to save all of Halpha.

The ball of energy reached its apex and now it looked like it could rival a moon in size. All eyes were on it as there was not enough time to evacuate everyone. Elder then roared in fury as he flung the death ball at Yaga. The Council of Six member was now the last hope left for Planet Halpha to survive Elders finishing move. With this in mind Yaga launched himself directly towards the death ball using the flames of his Cosmogenic Arm to propel himself towards the attack.

Yaga then roared and punched the energy with his left arm stopping it in its tracks. The energy rippled and to the shock of many was slowed. Yet everyone was afraid it would not be enough for Yaga to win. However, the energy then began to shift and move as it was being absorbed into the attack from Yaga's left first. Soon the energy blasted apart becoming harmless as it vanished into the air while Yaga continued to fly towards the now shocked Dark Falz.

Yaga then let out a final roar as he swung his right fist at Elder punching him straight into his stomach used his own power and the power he channeled from Elder's attack. Elder felt the wind being punched out of him and then some as he was lunched high into the sky in a blasting show of force. Elder was flying higher into the sky as the attack had even split the clouds themselves. The force of the attack was enough for Elder to reach escape velocity as all eyes saw the path Elder was flying out of Halpha.

(Up In Halpha's Upper Orbit)

Dark Falz Elder was still going as he flew through the ongoing space battle as all eyes stopped and looked to Elder's flight trajectory. Elder kept going not once stopping as he eventually vanished into the vacuum of space finally bested and exiled from Halpha.

(Back with Yaga in Kvaris)

Yaga grinned at his victory as the cheers he now heard was enough for him to smile. But then much to the shock of many Asura and Ifrit were resealed and Yaga's flaming aura vanished from his body as he ended up falling to the ground completely bone dry on his Photon power after this.

As Yaga fell to the ground many were in shock at what they just saw and already ARKS and Republic forces were moving to find Yaga. Wolfe lead the search as they already saw where Yaga had landed and could only hope he was alive and well.

Eventually the search party found Yaga laying in the snow covered in bruises, burns, and wounds showing he had reached his limit. "Councilman!" Wolfe called out when he eventually found Yaga. "Get a medic here stat!" Wolfe ordered as the Clones went to get the medic to stabilize Yaga.

"If anyone is there." Yaga began as he got Wolfe's attention. "I have lost all control of my bodily functions! I cannot hear, see, or feel anything but I really have to go to the bathroom right now." Yaga said as Wolfe heard this and sighed in frustration and laughter at Yaga not once losing his grin after everything.

(Scene Break later Kvaris City)

Yaga was taken to medical where he was placed on bedrest until he fully recovered. He was receiving transfusions of Photons while being made to rest inside a Kepto tank to help with the healing process. During this Plo was in command for this stretch.

"Allow me to be the first to say that you and your unit have rose beyond your ranks in the line of duty." Plo said as he addressed Luka and his team. "I will be proud to fight alongside you again with the Wolf Pack." Plo said as he gave each of them the medals, they earned for rising above the line of duty. Luka got the better one as he was given a promotion as well.

"Well captain Luka seems your rising up." Koga said teasing his brother just before Moka cheered and laughed as she hugged her brother. Kvaris was now secured which meant only Aelio and Stia were left to secure if the reports are still accurate. Still, it was a long and argues battle and it was still not over, but ARKS will not surrender their home not by a longshot. Halpha will be free, and ARKS will fight on against the Dark Falz and the Separatists aiding the Collective.
