Chapter 21
Geonosis
The Naboo cruiser enters the atmosphere of Geonosis and flys close to the ground so as to not draw attention to itself. Anakin piloted the ship towards the droid factory trying to find an inconspicuous place to land the ship. "See those columns of steam straight ahead? They're exhaust vents of some type"said Padme.
"That'll do" said Anakin.
Anakin pilots the ship into a column, flying through the steam, and landing at the bottom.
In the cockpit of the ship Anakin and Padme were preparing to exit the ship and rescue Obi-Wan.
"Look, whatever happens out there, follow my lead. I'm not interested in getting into a war here. As a member of the Senate, maybe I can find a diplomatic solution to this mess" said Padme.
"Don't worry. I've given up trying to argue with you" said Anakin.
Artoo Beeps and whistles.
"My sad little friend. If they had needed our help,they would have asked for it. You have a lot to learn about humans" said Threepio.
Padme and Anakin enter the city looking around and wandering at the emptiness not knowing that they were being followed.
Back on the ship Artoo and Threepio were discussing why Artoo should stay on the ship.
Artoo Beeps and Whistles.
"For a mechanic, you seem to do an excessive amount of thinking" said Threepio.
Artoo beeps a question.
"What does that mean? That means I'm in charge here"stated Threepio!
Artoo rolls out of the ship down the landing ramp with Threepio following behind him.
"Wait! Where are you going? Don't you have any sense at all" asked Threepio?
Artoo beeped a rude noise.
"How rude! Please wait! Do you know where you're going? Oh idiot" said Threepio!
As Artoo and Threepio made their way out of the ship Bumblebee and Wheelie were making their way out of the ship.
"Well since the gangs out exploring, I think I'll take a little look see around the joint" said Wheelie.
"I don't think that's a good idea Wheelie. Artoo and Threepio leaving is one thing, but somebody's got to stay with the ship" said Bumblebee
"Sure thing Bee, you do that, and I'll scope the scene" said Wheelie as he started out of the ship.
"That's not what I..." Bumblebee started to say until the ship received an alert of an incoming ship.
"Hang on there's another ship closing in" said Bumblebee.
"Friend or Foe" asked Wheelie?
"Doesn't say. The readings can't make out what kind of ship it is. We better go check it out" said Bumblebee as he and Wheelie made their way out of the ship.
As Anakin and Padme walked through the underground walking past statues, that weren't exactly statues but geonosians all grouped together. The geonosians began to crawl on the walls and ceiling waiting take down the two intruders. Anakin stopped with Padme sensing immediate danger coming from behind them.
Suddenly the geonosians began to attack, Anakin ignited his lightsaber and began to cut through as many geonosians that came into contact with him. Padme exits through a doorway with an extended walkway overlooking the entire droid factory, along with the frozen body of Megatron. The walkway retracts and Padme falls on to a conveyor belt leading into the heart of the facility.
Anakin jumps down and cuts through more geonosian guards while attempting to reach Padme.
Padme makes her way through stamping machines and welders as Anakin follows her cutting through every geonosian as possible.
Artoo and Threepio made their way to the factory through the same doorway.
"Oh my goodness! Shut me down! Machines creating machines!? How perverse" said Threepio.
Artoo bleeps as he bumps into Threepio.
"Calm down Artoo! I almost fell! You'll get your chance ALOOONG" said Threepio as he fell onto a loader droid.
"I'm scrap" said Threepio
The loader droid grabbed Threepio by the head and tried to get rid of him. "It's a nightmare! I want to go home" said Threepio scared.
The loader droid grabbed him by the leg dropped him and he face planted on the floor.
"What did I do to deserve this" asked Threepio?
Artoo was still in the walkway until his legs folded and jets appeared from his two legs and began to fly around the factory looking for Padme and Anakin.
Anakin was still fighting Geonosians as they were firing sonic blasters attempting to bring the Jedi down.
Padme struggled with a Geonosian until she fell into a large empty vat. Large mechanized arms lift the vat and carry it to a position where molten lava would be poured into it. Artoo flies toward Padme's direction to try and save her.
Threepio was wandering around the factory lost and searching for Artoo.
"I wonder what happened to poor little Artoo. He's always getting himself into trouble" said Threepio.
Threepios head was knocked off and landed with the heads of Battle Droids.
"Oh no" said Threepio!
Threepios body walked onto the assembly line where the droids heads were being welded on their bodies but Threepios body cut in front of a headless battle droid and had the droids head welded on Threepios body instead.
"Uh-Oh" said The Battle droid.
Suddenly Threepios body appeared welded on a Battle droids body.
"I'm so confused"said Threepio.
Meanwhile Anakin was still fighting off until he trips on the assembly line into a molding device.
As Padme was still struggling to escape the vat, Artoo flew to the controls to stop the vat before the vat became filled with lava.
Anakin was struggling to not be cut from the machinary.
The vat with Padme inside was getting closer and closer as several other vats were being filled with lava. Padme continued to struggle with her escape until the var came to lava station. Artoo fixed the controls, stopped the lava from being poured out, and had the arm release the vat and freed Padme as she rolled out of the vat and onto the floor.
Anakin still struggling with the cutting machines was finally free of the molding, but one the cutting machines had cut the top off of his lightsaber. As he drew his blade to ignite it again nothing happened. Anakin looked down at the shap of his weapon and had realized what had happened.
"Not again. Obi-Wan's gonna kill me" said Anakin with regret.
Suddenly Padme was surrounded by geonosian guards, and Anakin was surrounded by Droidekas and Decepticon drones with Jango Fett leading them.
"Don't move Jedi" Jango said holding his pistol.
"Take him away" Fett ordered as the drones and droids obeyed him.
Outside the Factory Bumblebee and Wheelie were investigating where the new ship had arrived and who was on it. They sneaked around the corner waiting for whoever, or whatever had arrived.
"We need to be cautious. Whoever piloted that ship is probably an enemy so we need to keep our guard up" said Bumblebee.
Suddenly shadows appeared on the other direction and were getting closer and closer by the second.
"I think they're gonna jump us. What do you think we should do" asked Wheelie?
Bumblebee started to think until he had an idea.
"On Three we jump out and take them by surprise" said Bumblebee.
Wheelie agreed as he readied his weapons.
"One...Two...THREE" said Bumblebee
As, the tw o Autobots were prepared for an attack l they just realized they were about to attack their fellow Autobots.
"Ultra Magnus! What are you all doing here" asked Bumblebee?
"We came here to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Decepticons and Separatists. Shouldn't you two be protecting Senator Amidala" asked Magnus?
"She went into the droid factory with the kid a few minutes ago, and we haven't heard from 'em since" said Wheelie.
"We saw an unknown ship was detected on the cruzer and we came to investigate it" said Bumblebee.
"She might be in trouble" said Magnus.
"Ultra Magnus! My bio sensors indicate that two non geonosian life forms are currently being taken to the colosseum" said Perceptor.
"Then that's where we'll be headed too. Autobots Transform and roll out" said Magnus as he transformed into his car carrier form.
"Me Grimlock wants to munch metal" said Grimlock in his Tyrannosaurus form.
Well here's another chapter for the books. The Autobots dialogue is mine the rest is not hope you guys enjoy it. We're getting closer to the Battle of Geonosis. Hope to hear from you guys soon until then take care.
