Chapter 6 The Goddess of Victory challenges the Divine Fist
In the deserts of Arabia, a group of Bamides were engaged in a battle against Britannia's forces. From the smoke emerged a group of Gloucester Knight, counterattacking with both Guilford and Andreas Darlton leading the charge.
"Shoddy oversized imitation Knightmares." Darlton said, calling the Bamides inferior.
"They would've been wise to surrender from start." Guilford added, calling the Arabians fools.
As the Bamides began to fall, the base they were defending erupted in flames as Cornelia advanced in her Knightmare to destroy it.
"Another victory. Area 18 has been established." Cornelia said, sounding bored with the battle.
"My Lady, about our next course of action." A soldier asked.
"Sorry to have you clean up after my foolish younger brother." The Princess apologized.
"Please don't apologize, my Lady. We live to serve, and our place is with you."
"Humph. Do you think Area 11 needs our usual treatment? Because I think we're going to have a real challenge." Asked Cornelia. hoping for a true battle.
"Yes, my Lady."
"Good." As Cornelia looked up at the night sky and saw the Big Dipper shining brightly, she remembered what those calling themselves Zero and the Fist of the North and South Stars had done. She hoped for a real challenge but also get revenge for her younger brother's death. "I'll drive you into the open, Kenshiro, Zero, and you Fists of the South Star. Clovis will be avenged." As she vowed vengeance.
Meanwhile away from the battlefield a man wearing a black cloaked hood and riding a black horse saw the battle had ended and said to himself "So now Kenshiro, brother it looks as though destiny has brought us all together to this world." As the man looked up at the Big Dipper. "Soon I Ken-oh the King of Fist will rise once again; I will conquer the heavens! I Raoh swear it!" As the man known as Raoh declared with his fist raised up high.
Meanwhile back at Ashford Lelouch, Monica, and Nunnally were still talking, Monica asked how Nunnally was able to see Lelouch used the same lie he said to his friends, but Monica already figured it out, she knew it was that man Kenshiro she and Nunnally saw on tv, as well Nunnally had already told her about Kenshiro and his technique of Hokuto shinken to help her see as well as heal her legs, as then they told him how they knew he was Zero much to Lelouch's shock.
"I'm not Zero." Lelouch tried to deny it but Monica and Nunnally gave him a look.
"Please Big Brother don't lie to us we know when you're lying." Nunnally said with stern but sisterly way.
"Yes, Lelouch me and Nunnally have known you since we were children, please don't lie." Monica also giving him a stern look.
Lelouch finally realized he was found out and relented. "How did you know it was me?" He asked.
"We could tell from your voice and the way you move; you've had thing for the dramatics since we were kids." Monica said with a smile on her face.
"I see so tell me why you are not shocked to find out I'm Zero." He asked the knight.
"Because. Lelouch, don't you remember our promise we made together?" Monica asked the prince.
"I remember." Lelouch said thinking about the past.
Flashback to the villa.
As Lelouch, Nunnally along with their half-sister Euphemia li Britannia were playing with a young Monica Krushevsky, with both Nunnally and Euphemia arguing about which one Lelouch is going to marry.
"I'm going to Lelouch's wife!" Euphemia yelled.
"No, I am!" Nunnally yelled back.
As Lelouch and Monica watched them argue, both he and Monica run off while they were fighting, with them going to their secret hiding spot near a lake and a beautiful tree with a fled of flowers. Monica and Lelouch had become really close, Monica first came to the villa to be taught in edict along with Anya by Marianne herself, when Lelouch and Monica first met it was love at first sight they did not know why they cared for each other so much it was like it was fate.
"Monica, I have something for you and something I want to ask you." As Lelouch pulled out a red jewelry box and opened it, inside was a neckless with the charm being a five-pointed golden star. " I had this made for you." The prince told the young maiden with her being surprised.
"Lelouch, you made this for me?" She asked. "Why?"
"Because I care for you more than any girl." Lelouch replead as he put it around her neck.
"As well, I want to ask you." As the prince took her hand and kneeled before her and asked. "Will you Monica Krushevsky be my bride?" As Lelouch proposed to her leaving her shocked as tears of joy streamed down her face.
"Yes, yes I will be your bride! My prince." As she and Lelouch shared their first kiss, unknown to them Lelouch's mother Marianne was watching them with tears in her eyes as well, as she saw the Big Dipper birthmark on the side of Lelouch's head shine so brightly. "My dearest I hope you're watching from heaven for our son has found his maiden, the same way we found each other." As she watched Lelouch made a promise. "Monica, I will treat you more than just a maiden, you will be my Star Maiden." As the sun began set, the wind began to blow with flower petals floating in the wind as The Big Dipper shined in the heavens above.
Flashback ends
"I remember it so clearly I never thought we would ever see each other again my dearest." Lelouch said placing his hand over hers.
"Lelouch." As Monica and Lelouch looked into each other in the eyes with true love until someone else came in.
"How sweet two long lost lovers reunited at last, it's like a cheap romance novel." A voice was heard as Lelouch looked and was shocked to see the green haired girl he saw die was now back from the dead.
"Oh, I forgot this is C.C. she, me and Monica have been waiting for you, your friend goes by such an unusual name, only her initials." Nunnally said curious.
"Yes, Lelouch is she someone special to you?" Monica said in very stern voice scaring Lelouch.
"He made a promise about our future together. Right?" C.C. said getting both Monica and Lelouch both shocked Monica looking at Lelouch with those eyes of her with look of your going to die.
"No Monica its nothing like that it's just a little joke that's all" Lelouch said trying make sure Monica dose not kill him.
"No, I'm not, it's nothing romantic it's just deal we made." C.C. said calming Monica and giving Lelouch relief.
"So, what was this deal Lelouch are you going to tell us?" Nunnally asked.
"I'm afraid that's between me and Lelouch. Okay?" C.C. told the little princess.
"But how are you- Lelouch was cut off.
"Alive? Thats my little secret for now at least." C.C. said wanting to wait to tell him.
"Lelouch I also have something I want to ask you, okay?" Monica asked Lelouch.
"What is it?"
"The reason I came to Japan is so I could find you and Nunnally, and now that I have, I want to join you, in your cause to destroy Britannia." The knight told her love.
"What?"
"For a long time, I have seen the blood shade and the pain that evil empire has caused, I have seen enough of it, I want it to stop." Monica said with her voice being sad and angry with a single tear going down her face.
Lelouch never wanted to see his love ever be sad every time he saw her cry when they were young it made his heart angry and sad when he sees his Star Maiden in sorrow.
"But won't the army know your gone, if you join us then Britannia will brand you as a tarator and kill you." Lelouch said with worry in his voice not wanting to see his love get killed for him.
"I have idea Lelouch I will act as a spy for you and those master you were with, remember I am a member of the knights of the round so I can get information from the higher ups." Monica said as Lelouch thought about it until some else came in.
"I think that would be good idea but a risky one." As they all turned to see Kenshiro and the five Nanto Rokusei Ken come in, as Lelouch, Monica, and Nunnally were surprised to see them all here except for C.C. who knew what they were.
"What are you all doing here! If anyone here sees you then- As Lelouch was stopped and Ken explained.
"Relax, this is the last time we will come here, I thought it would best talk about our next plan of action because we got some information you might want to know. Ken explained.
"What is it?'
"We got word that your half-sister Cornelia is coming to Japan, after our little show, she's coming to clean up Clovis's mess." Souther said to Lelouch who was thinking about their next plan of action.
"I see while then let's get started with our next plan." Lelouch said ready for the next move.
the Next Moring with Lloyd and Cecile were preparing the Lancelot for its next battle while Cecile was looking online about the uprising of the Japanese people after Zero and the Fist of the North Star and South Stars made their appearance.
"Fukushima, Kouchi, Hiroshima. This has been the seventh occurrence since those men calling them self's the Fist of the North Star and Fists of the South Star and that man named Zero raised their heads." Cecile explained to Lloyd who was more composed now but inside was even more amazed by those men even more.
"It seems the other groups are following their lead and putting up a valiant fight." Lloyd said still thinking about his new specimens.
"And now, after that humiliating loss its cost Margrave Jeremiah his command." Cecile commented on Jeremiah loss and the loss of his command.
"Maybe he wasn't good enough. Thanks to that loss, connections between the police and the administration are screwed up. It's made a fine mess for us as well, and I wonder where Monica was, she should have been there." Lloyd said until they see Monica come in.
"I'm right here Lloyd I'm sorry I wasn't there, I was still looking for those leads on Prince Lelouch and Princess Nunnally, I apologies." Monica said trying to play innocent.
"It's all right my lady we were all caught off guard, no one would have seen it coming a group of men that can destroy Britanna's most powerful weapon with just their fists its beyond unexpected.
"Help them Tohdoh! Kenshiro, the Fists of the South Star and Zero have thrown the Britannians into chaos. Now is the time for us in the Japan Liberation Front to make our stand!" Senba demanded his higher up to help the Fists and Zero.
"Calm down. The information of Kyoto giving the Guren Mk-II to any of them hasn't been confirmed. If we pay too much attention to these warriors or Zero, we may trip ourselves up." Tohdoh told Senba as Tohdoh lost in his thoughts can't help but wonder how those men knew about Nanto or Hokuto as he had heard those styles of martial arts were wiped out years ago. "Who were those men?"
"Case No.107 Private Suzaku Kururugi, Area 11 Military Forces. In the murder of His Highness Prince Clovis you are no longer a suspect and are hereby set free due to lack of evidence." As the judge let Suzaku go.
"What happened? I'm free." Suzaku said surprised that they let him go until he heard a voice of a girl.
"Out of the way, please. Look out below!" As Suzaku looked up and saw a pink haired girl falling from the building and caught her.
"Uh, are you all right?" He asked the girl
"I'm sorry. I wasn't aware you were down here until I had leapt." Girl said with a sweet smile.
"Well, don't worry. I wasn't expecting a girl to come falling out of the sky and into my arms, either." Suzaku said as the girl blushed
"Oh, my…"
"Huh? Is there something wrong?" Suzaku asked wondering what her problem was.
"Yes! There is something wrong." The girl answered

"The truth is bad guys are chasing me. So, considering the circumstances could you help me, please?"
Rei was walking around until he saw the boy that he and his allies rescued and notice a girl with him and for brief moment he saw his sister. "Airi?" As the girl heard the name and saw Rei and noticed how well belt, he was at first, she blushed, Suzaku noticed him and realized who it was.
"Hey, you're one of those men who saved me right? Rei isn't?" Suzaku asked the man.
"Yeah, I'm Rei it's nice to finally meet in person Suzaku." Rei said like a brother.
"It's nice to meet you Mr. Rei my name Euphie, and what was that name you called me?" Euphie asked curious.
"Oh, I'm sorry you looked so much like my sister Airi you have her hair, her eyes, and her face." Rei said missing his sister.
"I'm sorry for that but think you." Euphie said to the Nanto master.
"Aren't you afraid someone's going to see you Rei? your a wanted criminal to Britannia." Suzaku warned the master.
"Don't worry kid haven't you've noticed look around." As they all looked around everyone was staying clear of Rei Knowing if they try to fight him their dead.
"All these Britannian's are afraid of me, not the other way around and don't worry 'I'm not going to take advantage of them, that's not how I work." Rei told them both.
Euphie at first thought Rei was not being honest but after little time with him and Suzaku, she came to see him as a good man as well they decide to go around town and enjoy themselves for bit, Rei had forgotten what living a normal life before the nuclear war destroyed his world, he felt like he had gone back to simpler time before it was a fight to survive.
Euphie finally asked them to take her to Shinjuku, at first, they were hesitant, but she said she wanted to pay respect to the Japanese that died there, and so they took her there. As they made their way to the ghetto's they all so the graves of the people who died with Rei walking up to them and giving them a prayer for them to rest in peace, even in this world people still die of barbaric people.
"How tragic. All these people did not deserve this fate." Euphie said with sadness in her voice.
They then heard a Japanese group get into the faces of Britannian teenagers who were playing around and taking pictures
"Get out of here, you damn Britanian bastards!" Tamaki yelled at the kids.
"How dare a lowly Eleven speak like…"
"Don't call me Eleven! I'm Japanese." Tamaki corrected the boy
"Wrong. You seem to forget you people lost. You're nothing but a beaten dog!" The boy shot back at Tamaki.
"Grrr… you racist pig."
"Thats enough! All of you! As Rei and Suzaku came to stop the fighting, the Britannian kids were afraid of Rei.
"Ahh! Its him, Its Rei one of the Fists of the South Star!" One of the kids said scared.
"The two of you get out of here now! This is a place to mourn the dead now leave!" Rei ordered the boys to leave, they did out of fear.
Then Tamaki noticed Suzaku and got in his face. "Your nothing more than a slave. Big deal. You're an honorary Britannian. Nobody cares. You sold your pride, your people, yourself, yet you call yourself Japanese? At least Rei and the other Fists are fighting for our people!"
"No! You're wrong!"
"I am not wrong! You are a stinking Britannian lapdog aaah…"As Tamaki was thrown over by Rei. "Why are you stopping me! He's a traitor! Tamaki angered and shocked that Rei would do this.
"There is no point in fighting a pointless battle! just let it go." Rei told Tamaki and gave him a look of stop or die.
"Fine." As Tamaki and his men walked away.
"Thinks, but I didn't need any help but thinks.
"Hey, I just wanted to help but I have a question why did you join Britannia?" Rei asked the solider.
"I wanted to change the government of Britannia from within I have seen so many people suffer, so I want try and make it better for everyone." Suzaku gave Rei his answer, Rei looked at Suzaku and saw hope but also naive in the young boy.
"I understand but you know there are somethings you can't change." Suzaku and Euphie looked at Rei as he continued. "I have seen many people have those same idea's and hopes before and it all came crumbling down all around them, I won't tell you what to do kid I'm just saying that if your hopes fail you better be ready for it." As Rei finished his talk with Suzaku.
Rei then sensed an aura of battle nearby and rushed off with Suzaku going with him. 'Wait what is it, Rei?" Suzaku asked curious about Rei's destination. "There's battle nearby it's a big one to." When they got to the old studium, they saw four Knightmare's attacking one in the middle, Suzaku who wanted to go and get his Knightmare the Lancelot but was stop by Rei gave him a look of let me handle this and jumped into battle.
"Hey! why don't you try fighting me instead!" As Rei made his presence known to them, when pure bloods saw him, they are both angered and terrified. " It's you! Rei the Star of Justice! this time you're dead! As they opened fire on him only for Rei to dodge all of them and then slice's them into pieces using his Nanto Suichōken with each Knightmare falling to piece's while watching Jeremiah was shocked to see the same man who had beaten him before was now trying to save his life.
"W-way, is he?" Jeremiah could not believe it an Eleven was protecting him.
"Enough!" As they all turned and saw Euphie with the soldiers being shocked, but Rei and Suzaku were even more shocked when the soldiers called out her real name. "Princess Euphemia!" they called out.
"I'm assuming command here. Now fall back." She ordered.
"We're truly sorry, your Highness!" They all obeyed the princess.
"My Lady!" As Suzaku called out his superior.
"Ah."
"I had no idea who you were. Please forgive me, Princess." As Suzaku asked for forgiveness.
"Suzaku, you and I bear a similar deep pain. You have lost your father as I have lost my brother." She said trying to understand his pain.
Ah.
"Will you let me help you in your quest to ensure that no one ever again has to suffer the loss of a loved one on the battlefield. The princess asked the young solider
"Yes, I'm unworthy of your kindness." Suzaku said with obedience
As she looked at Rei and she said to him. "Rei think you, you have done a truly noble thing today, while I don't agree for what you and the others did to my brother, I think you do live up to your title as the Star of Justice." Euphemia thanked Rei and hopes they meet again.
"You're welcome princess I have one request to ask you." As Euphemia looked curios about his request. "Please never tell your sister that you met me this day, please keep it a secret."
"You have my word" As the princess bowed with respect and promised never to tell her sister with Rei walking away hoping to meet again soon.
Back at the viceroy's palace Cornelia was there to be greeted by her sister.
"I heard what you did, Euphemia. You shouldn't be so reckless. Cornelia told her younger sister
"I know, Sister. Forgive me. But…" As she was cut off by her sister.
"You will address me as Viceroy here, Sub-Viceroy Euphemia. Because we're sisters we need to follow a stricter protocol." Cornelia reminded her sister about her status.
"Yes, I understand." She had promised she would not tell her sister about Rei and she in her mind swore to take it to her grave.
"Humph. Now then, give me your report." She asked her subordinate.
"Yes, my Lady. The first order of business is a welcome party we've arranged for your Highness and…" The man was cut short as Cornelia aimed her gun sword at him.
"Sloppy, senile, corrupt. Where is Kenshiro? Where are those so-called Fists of the South Star? And where is Zero? I want the enemies of the Empire caught! Get them get them all!" She demanded all the enemies' heads and looked up at the sky and saw the Big Dipper shining brightly. "I swear to you that hope you spoke of Kenshiro will die like you." She said with venom in her voice vowing to get Kenshiro's head.
"Uh?" was now confused to hear his best friend was joining Ashford
"I'll be joining the student body here at Ashford Academy beginning today. My name is Suzaku Kururugi. It's a pleasure to meet you." As Suzaku greeted everyone.
Meanwhile deep of the mountains Marianne had made her way to Japan to the home of the masters of Hokuto Shinken the Hokuto Shinken Dojo. With the scroll of the North and South Stars in hand she knew it was nearing the time for her son's destiny to be fulfilled.
"So now a new dawning of Hokuto and Nanto is about to begin." As she looked up and saw the statue's that represent the Fist of the North and South. " Soon my son you will know the truth soon. I hope you and Nunnally will forgive me" She saw the Big Dipper and knew the time was to going to be soon.
