(A Beautiful Photograph)

Highlands High School*

The sun shined brightly as Anya sat with Theodore on the benches for lunch, waiting for his date to arrive.

"Thanks for keeping me company. I'm still nervous about meeting her but hope to make a good impression." Theodore spoke to Anya in a calm yet nervous voice while Anya nodded as she smiled at him.

"You're welcome and I'm sure she's going to be nice. Just gotta believe in yourself." Anya reassured Theodore in a kind voice as this brought some peace to Theodore.

Following this, Anya and Theodore were approached by a girl, it was nobody else but Greta. *See Chapters 77, 89, 90, 107, 112, and 158 for more Greta*

Greta wore her school uniform, and her usual pig-tailed hair was done well.

"Good Afternoon, Theodore. I don't usually hang out with people since I usually am with Principal Sheldon but I'm willing to take the time to hang out." Greta greeted Theodore politely and this made the young man smile.

"Y-You must be Greta, right? It's a pleasure to meet you, and I can't wait to enjoy your company." Theodore responded with a polite handshake, hoping to make an impression.

Anya smiled at this as she prepared to leave the area, having succeeded in having her two friends meet.

"Glad to know things are going well. I'll be taking my leave and I hope the both of you have fun." Anya spoke to the pair with a smile as she waved them goodbye before leaving the track and field.

Theodore and Greta waved their friend goodbye as they turned to face each other, pondering on what to do next for their small hangout.

"S-So. Tell me more about yourself, Greta? I'm all ears to hear about you." Theodore asked Greta in a nervous yet intrigued tone of voice as he felt himself blushing at the sight of the girl.

After hearing the question, Greta gently held his hand as she smiled at him warmly, ensuring him that everything was going to be okay.

"I'm Greta, of course. I'm a bit of a bootlicker as some might call it, but I just care about this school and want my fellow classmates to succeed, especially since graduation is approaching. I also like to play tennis, go on hikes, and watch movies, you?" Greta introduced herself once more to Theodore, her expression and voice being filled with warmth while Theodore smiled back.

Those words made Theodore more intrigued in getting to know Greta as he began to respond back to those words.

"That's great. You seem like a fun person to hang out with. I like to play football, run track, and listen to music. That's all about me mostly." Theodore responded with a smile as he slowly found himself growing comfortable with Greta.

Following this, Greta and Theodore began walking the track as they continued in getting to know each other and during this, Anne was watching them.

"Is that Greta talking to that Theodore person? I thought he wanted to marry Anya. I guess he's moved on from her." Anne spoke to herself as she took her camera out and snapped a photo of the pair.

After doing this, Anne looked at the photo with an intrigued look on her face.

"Once I take these photos to the red room, I'll submit this for most likely to become a couple. I'll just know people are going to like this." Anne spoke once more in a joyful voice before placing the photo in her pocket as she got up to head toward her destination.

During the walk, Anne looked over at Greta and Theodore, talking amongst themselves and this prompted Anne to take out the photo of the pair.

"If I want a submitted photo then I want to do it the natural way. I want to capture them having fun up close." Anne spoke to herself once more as she tore the photo, letting the pieces blow in the air before she walked over to approach Greta and Theodore.

Anne proceeded to walk toward Greta and Theodore as she announced her presence.

"Excuse me, mind if I get a few photos of you two? The both of you don't have to pose but rather continue talking while I take photos." Anne asked the pair in a polite voice, hoping that her offer would be accepted.

Hearing this made Greta smile as she nodded alongside Theodore.

"Hey Anne, it's great seeing you, and of course. I don't mind at all." Greta greeted Anne in a mind voice as she accepted the offer.

Those words made Anne smile as she jumped up and down joyfully.

"Thank you so much! Just continue talking while I take photos, okay? I want to get every shot!" Anne thanked Greta joyfully as she prepared her camera by placing new sets of film in the camera.

Once Anne was done placing the new sets of film in her camera, she looked over at Theodore and properly introduced herself to him.

"Hello, I'm Anne, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm also a friend of Anya. I hope we can become good friends." Anne greeted Theodore as she shook his hand gracefully.

"And I'm Theodore. I can't wait to see how the photos turn out. I also hope we can be good friends as well, Anne." Theodore responded as he shook Anne's hand.

Once the pair was done shaking hands, Theodore and Anne began walking the track as they began to talk amongst themselves.

On the other hand, Anne snapped a few photos of them.

"Just perfect! These will go great for the yearbook. They will truly win the title of Most Likely to Become a Couple." Anne thought to herself with a smile as she continued to take photos of them.

"Wow, all of that seems interesting about you. Do you mean to tell me that Anya almost became class president only to lose to you? Now that's something." Theodore spoke to Greta with great interest in his voice as he listened to the story being told while Greta nodded.

"I agree but Anya still congratulated me when she lost so she was a good sport despite the loss." Greta responded joyfully while Theodore chuckled at those words.

"I'm glad, and how's the title treating you so far? I know being class president can be challenging." Theodore asked Greta as he waited for an answer.

Greta thought about her answer for a moment before finally answering.

"Sometimes stressful but overall, it's quite fun. Managing your class, school, and everything else is quite the learning experience and I'm always willing to learn more about everything." Greta responded with sincerity in her voice, her expression and tone being authentic and determined.

Theodore smiled at those words as the pair continued to walk while Anne continued to walk beside the pair, snapping photos at every good angle as Anne heard the chatter of the pair.

"They look so cute together." Anne thought to herself while looking down to see the photos of Theodore and Greta.

The photos showcased the pair smiling as they were getting to know each other and that made Anne smile.

During this, Anya, who came back from the library, smiled at Greta and Theodore walking with each other.

"Someday, I hope to do romantic things with Calvin…"Anya whispered to herself as she closed her eyes, partaking in the chilly wind that ran through her body.

"Calvin, my love. Please be safe.." Anya whispered once more as she looked up toward the sky, hoping that her boyfriend was and would return safely.
