You know, it was amazing how much this group of teenagers could wrap themselves up in the strangest yet most difficult problems to fix. Like, how in the world were they going to fix this problem? Yeah, they were demon lords sure, but like how in the world are they going to fix this problem when the only way they normally fix problems is through violence?!

"So, that Jaune fella got himself caught up in Cardin's silly antics, huh?" Guy chuckles.

The demon lords are currently on their way to have lunch in the cafeteria. Sometimes Rimuru really hates his colleagues, they make most situations even more painful by resorting to violence all the time. Unfortunately, he is an outlier amongst the demon lords and is the most picked on due to being the youngest. It's like they almost forget that he's the strongest of them all. Yet, every single damn time, these jerks think it's ok to just waltz into his territory and do whatever they want.

But he knows that brute forcing his way into being respected wasn't the right answer. In the future, when he's been a demon lord for over a few thousand years, then he might be treated with a bit of respect. That's probably why he felt a connection with Ruby, she is a team leader, and yet most people around her don't seem to respect that at all.

"Yes, that's right." Rimuru nods, "It turns out, he forged his transcripts to get into Beacon."

Guy laughs, "No way!" "That little snake! Maybe I gave him less credit than I should've."

"What a sneaky little devil that Jaune is."

"Look who's talking." Rimuru shoots back.

Guy rolls his eyes, "Out of all of us, you're the only one who doesn't act like a demon lord."

"Yeah, having common sense kinda does that to a person."

"Oi, I KNOW you didn't say you have common sense." Guy rolls his eyes, "The moment you appeared you destroyed my well-planned balance of the world by giving those troublesome people names!"

"C'mon, I was two years old when I named them." Rimuru says, "Cut me some slack, I still didn't know much about the world."

"You are barely a half-decade old and are the newest demon lord." Luminous says, "And yet, somehow you are the strongest out of all of us."

"I just have a strong soul I guess."

"Yeah, a soul strong enough to hold an infinite number of Ultimate Skills," Dino says rolling his eyes.

"Oh, hush it you." Rimuru shoots back.

They get to the table and notice the rest of JNPR and RWBY waiting for them. They sit down at the table; most have a concerned look on their faces. Pyrrha looks the most stressed.

"Hey, what's going on, Pyrrha." Rimuru says, "You look stressed."

"Oh, it's nothing Rimuru," Pyrrha says with a fake smile.

Rimuru deadpans, she is obviously not ok.

"Where's Jaune?" Rimuru asks, even though he pretty sure he's hanging around Cardin.

"For some reason he's been with that Cardin guy." Nora says, "I don't know why, since Cardin picks on him all the time."

Even Nora seems rather frustrated, Rimuru notes.

Rimuru then looks to Guy, who has a smug smile on his face for some reason.

"Wait, no Guy!" Rimuru uses telepathy net to Guy.

"C'mon, why not?" Guy says in the telepathy net, "Let's stir the pot a little, and make things even more interesting!"

"Not in that way!" Rimuru hisses through the telepathy net.

"Gee, I wonder if you guys have done something to upset him?" Guy says feigning concern, "Or, perhaps he thinks you guys are total losers now!" "I'd bet on the latter if I were you..."

"This piece of shit demon!" Rimuru seethes.

"No, what?!" Nora says, "He wouldn't think that!"

"I don't know, you only have known him for a few days at most." Guy says, "Could be he's not as nice as you thought he was."

Rimuru facepalms, as Guy looks back and grins at Rimuru's reaction. Getting a rise out of the Chaos Creator was one of his favorite hobbies, almost as much as getting a rise out of Leon. The three members of Team JNPR start to think about what Guy had said.

"Anyway, I'll be heading back to the dorm room." Guy says faking a yawn, "Have a good day y'all."

The rest of Team RRGL and Team LMDD follow after Guy. Rimuru walks up to Guy with an unamused expression on his face.

"You know when they realize you were just stirring the pot and making this worse, when they try to kill you, I won't raise a single finger to help you." Rimuru narrows his eyes.

Guy laughs, "Oh come on, they wouldn't even dare try to kill me."

"I don't know, angry teens are a force to be reckoned with." Rimuru says.

Luminous hums, "Well I call dibs on Guy's ice palace when he dies." "Always loved the cold."

"Wait, no!" Deeno says, "I love the cold, it helps me sleep, his ice palace is mine!"

"I called dibs first you lazy bum." Luminous scoffs, "You don't deserve such a beautiful work of art."

"What, that's not true!" Deeno says, "I've worked a lot since Rimuru has hired me!"

"...Children the lot of you." Leon says.

Meanwhile at JNPR's dorm, Jaune is seen with his head in between his legs. What could he do? He didn't want to obey Cardin's orders, but he had no choice since Cardin had dirt on him.

Suddenly, Ruby walks up to Jaune.

"Hey Jaune, how ya doing?" Ruby asks.

"Not fine..." Jaune says, "I have to listen to Cardin, but I don't want to."

"You all must think I'm a terrible leader...'

"Nope!" Ruby says with a smile.

"Huh?"

"Your not a failure." Ruby denies.

"But..."

"Nope!" Ruby says quickly before Jaune could say anything more.

"You are really bad at talking about these kinds of things..." Jaune says with a giggle.

"Yeah, maybe..." Ruby says, "But hey, I'm trying my best"

Ruby then goes up to her door, "Maybe you should try too."

Ruby closes the door to her dorm. Jaune stares at the door contemplating what Ruby had just said. Could he really try and do what is right? Even when Cardin could end his huntsmen career before it even started?

"You know, you should listen to Ruby, Jaune-san." a voice says.

It seems to be Testarossa of Team DUCT.

"Lord Rimuru would say to 'always give it your best shot'." Testarossa says, "You should follow his example, and give it your best shot!"

"But...what if I fail?" Jaune says, "What if my career ends here?"

Testarossa shrugs, "Who knows, but Lord Rimuru is still here, and he knows best." "So do your best, team leader." she giggles before walking away, leaving Jaune to consider what she had just said.
