'Thought' "Speaking" {On the Phone}
Qrow & Aqua stopped running and put the girls on the ground to catch their breaths, as a portal opened up near them and Raven stepped out smirking, then said, "Not bad, seeing the look on that man's face was priceless."
"Yeah and now they can't stay there." Qrow added. "Then leaving is for the best. I hated how they were only a three day journey from patch."
Ruby walked over to Raven and tugged at her cloth a little, making her look down.
"Are you Raven?" Ruby asked.
"And what if I am." Raven questioned.
"Then Yang's been looking for you." Ruby said back. "I think she wants to see you."
Raven then got on one knee to be lower to Ruby and said, "Well she won't have to wait long because I'm coming with you to see her." Raven then saw the other girl holding on to Aqua's skirt. "And who is that little one?"
"I made friends with her when those mean guys took me," Ruby answered, running over to the girl and taking her free hand. "They said something about making her a Sex slave." The three adults' eyes went wide. "What's a sex slave?"
Aqua looked away not wanting to answer her question.
"Someone that works long hours with no pay or breaks whether they like it or not for the rest of their life." Raven answered, praying to the two brothers that the answer would work for Tai if she had to explain herself.
"That sounds like a terrible job." Ruby said confused why someone would work like that.
"It is, which makes us taking her away from them all the better." Raven said, looking to Qrow for help in changing the subject.
"On that note you got a name, kid." Qrow quickly asked. The girl immediately hid herself behind Aqua holding on to her for dear life like she would disappear once she let go.
"It's okay, we aren't going to hurt you." Aqua said, placing a hand on the girl's head. "But we would like to know what we can call you."
"Emerald." the girl said, relaxing her grip.
Aqua turned around to look at Emerald and got on her knees to look the girl in the eyes, and said, "A pretty name for a beautiful child. Your parents must be worried about you."
"I wouldn't know, I've been alone till those men got me." Emerald said as tears filled her eyes."
'She's an orphan.' Aqua thought hugging Emerald.
"We'll take her with us." Raven stated. "I'm sure Yang and Ruby would love a new playmate."
Just then dark shadows started to appear around them.
"Heartless!" Aqua said, summoning her keyblade.
"What the hell?" Raven shouted, drawing her sword Omen.
"Just what we need right now." Qrow said holding Ruby as he took Harbinger out.
Aqua immediately took Emerald and had her get in the center of the three then looked at Qrow and ordered, "Put Ruby over here." Qrow did as he was told not wanting Ruby near him in this fight. "Blizzaga!" Just then Aqua made an ice dome around then. "It won't hold for long but should help make sure they can't get close."
"Qrow I'm going to need information here." Raven said, slashing at a few heartless.
Qrow took another few shadows and shouted back, "I'll give you the low down later, for now keep them at bay while Waterfall gets the big guys.
Aqua took out two Soldiers then saw more Shadows and Soldiers appear plus a few Large Body's. Raven cut another few heartless down, but more were coming, Aqua then held her Keyblade and shouted, "Thunder!" The next moment lightning struck, reducing the rest to dust in the wind. "I really was hoping not to do that."
"What the fucking hell was that?" Raven said, pointing her sword at Aqua.
"Swear!" Ruby shouted from inside the dome.
'Right children should be hearing that.' Raven thought still pointing her sword at Aqua. "Are you one of the four maidens? Cause if you are I going to have Ozpin keep your as...butt away from my family."
"Maidens, what are you talking about?" Aqua questioned not understanding.
"Sorry Raven that's not what she is, Ozpin already met her and confirmed she wasn't one." Qrow explained placing a hand of Raven's sword hand.
"Then how in the world did she do that?" Raven questioned as Aqua melted the ice protecting Ruby & Emerald. "That's not a semblance I know that much."
"I'll answer all your questions once we're out of here," Qrow said as Raven lowered her sword. "There's a good chance that our fight caused those Idiots from the tribe to notice us if the Grimm haven't already. Okay?"
"Fine." Raven said, putting her sword Omen away. "How are the kids?"
"A little cold but it will pass soon." Aqua said having looked both girls over.
"Alright, Raven you got a portal to Tai right?" Qrow agreed, picking Ruby up. Raven had a hand on her sword but wasn't moving to pull it out. "Raven, Yang wants to see you, you've got this."
Raven took a deep breath then drew her sword, slashing the air making her signature red portal and said, "Let's do this." Qrow picked Ruby up and walked through with Aqua picking Emerald up and following Qrow. Raven took a deep breath then walked through the portal.
Rose/Xaio Long hotel room
Tai sat up in his bed with Yang looking out the window, just then a red portal opened in the middle of the room. Yang ran to her father as Qrow came out holding Ruby with Aqua following holding another child, then finally Raven came out.
"Ruby!" Yang said, jumping up and down trying to get Qrow to let her see her sister.
"Daddy, Yang." Ruby shouted, reaching for TaiYang. Qrow immediately gave Ruby to Tai and Yang joined the hug. "I missed you Daddy."
"And I've missed you, sorry that had to happen Ruby." Tai said holding Ruby tightly, then looked up at the three adults. "And thank you for bringing her back."
"It was the right thing to do." Aqua explained holding the girl still.
Tai then looked towards Raven as she looked away, seeming to be scared to look at Tai in the face. Tai then motioned for Yang to go over to the women with long black hair. As Yang looked at the women she felt she knew her.
"Are you Raven by chance?" Yang asked, walking over to Raven.
Raven looked at Tai who nodded to her and took a deep breath then got on her knees in front of Yang and said, "Yes I am, and you're a little trouble maker from what I've heard." Yang immediately hugged Raven. "I am so sorry it took me so long to see you Yang, but I promise if you allow me. I'll be there for you no matter what." Yang softly cried as Raven held her close.
"And who's that?" TaiYang asked, pointing to the girl in Aqua's hands.
"This is Emerald," Aqua answered, trying to put the girl down but she was not letting go. "We found her in the tent that they were keeping Ruby in." Aqua finally got her to stand next to her as she talked to the rest of the adults reassuring her she wasn't going to just leave her. "Tai I know this is the best time but I was hoping we could resume our talk from earlier about Ruby."
"What about me?" Ruby questioned.
"Do you know the weapon that she has, Ruby?" Tai questioned.
"Oh you mean that cool looking blade." Ruby said, holding out her hand mimicking Aqua somewhat. "She was able to start a fire with it and unlock the cage I was in, then she did this other stuff like making lightning and healed herself. is that your sem-semblincss."
"Her semblance." Qrow helped. "Not quite."
"My strength comes from the Keyblade I wield." Aqua said, holding out her hand, the next thing the Keyblade appeared in her hand. "With this I can do things you would consider magic." Everyone in the room except for Qrow was a bit amazed by this. "And Ruby, you can do it too."
"So that was what Ruby did when we were in the cabin." Yang said then quickly covered her mouth.
"You're in trouble young lady." Raven said, picking Yang up.
"I can." Ruby said, holding out her hand but nothing happened. "Why's mine not coming."
"It will in time, but you need to train to do that." Aqua said, then looked at Tai. "I ask once more please allow me to train Ruby to wield the Keyblade. I promise I'll do it under your watch but Ruby must be able to protect herself from the heartless."
"Tai let her train the kid." Raven interjected, getting a glare from Tai. "Look I know I've the least amount of right to say this, but you know when she grows up, she's going to be just like Summer. You aren't always going to be able to protect them, but you can prepare them."
"I have to agree with Raven," Qrow said calmly. "Ruby needs this, only that Keyblade can protect her from the Heartless."
"If I allow this, you'll train at the house and her aura can remained locked." Tai requested, Aqua nodded her head. "And she still has to still go to school." Aqua nodded again. "Plus, if she wants to, she can go to Beacon over one of the other Huntsmen academies. I want my daughters to have friends and simile normal lives."
"I understand and agree." Aqua said knowing she had no right to question a father wanting their child to have something normal.
"Does that mean, Miss Aqua's going to teach me how to be like her." Ruby squealed.
"Guess so." Tai said rubbing Ruby's head. "And now for you." Taiyang pointed at Raven as she placed Yang on the ground.
"I've dealt with the tribe." Raven explained. "I know I left without telling you, but you know my reason was a valid one."
"Was it?" Tai asked harshly.
"Tai you know what my father would do to you," Raven explained looking down. "I'd rather have you and Yang hate me then see her lose a father."
"Dad please," Yang begged with puppy dog eyes. "She's my mother."
Tai sighed then said, "I don't know if I can forgive you completely but Yang should know her mother."
"That's all I ask." Raven agreed. "Also I should mention I don't think Summer is dead."
"What makes you say that?" Qrow questioned. Raven drew Omen and slashed the air a portal then formed but unlike her normal ones that were red and shaped like a circle, this one was blue and seemed to be fluctuating. "That's not normal."
"I was aiming for my bond with Summer but it feels distinct," Raven explained. "I can feel that she's alive but she's too far away and I'm unable to go through and get her."
"So mommy might come back." Ruby said, sounding happy.
"Yep," Raven said, popping the p. "But it's probably going to be awhile."
"Okay that's at least is better news than what I've heard before." Tai said as Yang walked over to Raven wanting to be picked up again. TaiYang then looked at the Emerald. "So what are we going to do with her?" Emerald hid a bit more behind Aqua's leg
"We can see if the authorities can find some of her family," Qrow suggested. "But with how the Tribe works, and from what she told us. I don't have high hopes."
Raven then looked at Tai and said, "Do you think we could keep her for the time being."
"Sorry Raven but that house was built for a small family of four plus I'm having it fixed thanks to damage that was done and from the way she's acting I don't think she wants to leave Aqua's side." Tai said.
"I'll keep her for now." Aqua said, rubbing her head a little, making the girl giggle. "Just until we can find better accommodations for her." Just then the sound of rumbling stomachs came and the three adults to laugh out loud. "For now, why don't we get you three fed."
"I'll order a Pizza." Qrow said, pulling out his scroll. "What do you guys want?"
"Get one large Half ham, half sausage for Yang and Ruby." Tai answered. "And I'll take some from theirs, they don't eat all of it anyway."
"I'll have a sausage as well." Raven said as Yang smiled, liking that she was somewhat like her mother. "And I'll pay you back for mine."
"What do you want?" Aqua asked looking at Emerald.
"Can I have Pepperoni?" Emerald asked, shaking.
Aqua nodded her head then looked at Qrow and said, "I'll share with Emerald, so don't worry about me."
Qrow nodded his head and made the order as Tai rubbed his head and said, "Today has been one crazy day."
"Yep," Raven & Yang agreed popping the P.
"And I've got a feeling this is only the beginning." Aqua continued.
