Ranma Half Moon chapter 74 "The Death of the Sailor Warriors and the Secrets of the Silver Crystal" part two.

Author's note: This episode also happens during the Sailor Moon episode 35 "Memories Return, Usagi and Mamoru's Past".

Minako sees herself on the ground. My spirit must be floating over my body.

Instantly her mind is flooded with a rush of memories that Shampoo's Xi Fa Xiang Gao Shiatsu had suppressed. So, it was Mio Kuroki who had been manipulating the circumstances behind the scene.

Minako also remembers Ranma-ko and fighting with her after she transformed into Ranma-ko's Sailor Moon. The warm feeling I felt when Sailor Jupiter declared she had my back was the same warm feeling that I felt with Ranma.

Oh, no! Ranma is lying in a train station office with a blanket over her, shivering. Minako throws her consciousness to where Ranma is laying. Ranma! Hang in there. You did such an incredible amount of things for me. Thank you.

Ranma-ko sits up with a start, no longer shivering. She feels Minako's presence and hears her message.

Rats, I should have given Ranma a more specific message than just my feelings.

Makoto senses herself floating above her body again. Wow, am I foolish. All of my self-doubts, all of my feelings that I needed to act a certain way in front of my friends seem ludicrous now. All the other Sailor Warriors are the type of girls who would be thrilled to come over to my apartment and bake cookies, have pillow fights and have pajama sleep overs.

Especially, ...

Makoto finds it hard to even think of such things as a spirit, that her lack of self-confidence prevented her from having a sister-like relationship with Mizuno Ami.

Rei looks over the situation with sadness. Even as a spirit, I cannot not feel Mamoru's presence anywhere. He must be in an alternate dimension. He must be in Dark Kingdom.

Rei feels her own emotions more clearly. Even though I have carefully avoided looking at the truth about Mamoru, as a spirit I am now confronted with the backlog of ignored perceptions that my psychic powers had been telling me all along. The truth that Mamoru had other women in his life, including the girl that I had asked permission from so many months ago. But, I can't hate Saotome Ranma. Mamoru is Mamoru, and it was easy to understand how a girl could come under his spell.

Rei also sees her own feelings for Yuchiro. Too bad my blindly pursuing a false relationship with Mamoru prevented me from knowing my true feelings.

Ami looks down at her own body as well. She feels the spirit of the other Sailor Warriors with her. Even though they should berate me for choking and not warning them in time, all I feel is warmth, and a feeling that even if I had warned them earlier, they would not have listened.

Ami also feels a warm sensation from the spirit of Makoto, a feeling like she had never felt before. How unobservant can be? I practically lived by herself considering that my father had abandoned my family and my mother worked nearly ten hours a day and we were almost never at home at the same time. Makoto lived completely by herself. Did it never occur to me that Makoto and I should hang out together?

These feelings occur in less than a second.

The Sailor Warrior spirits look down on the battle that is still in progress.

Kunzite smiles. In front of him are four dead Sailor Warriors and a terrified Sailor Moon. "Are you ready, Princess?"

Usagi quivers in fear, looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

Usagi suddenly feels the other Sailor Warrior's spirits talking to her from the other side.

"Kick his ass, Usagi. I know there's a fierce fighter in you."

"Usagi, all the work and study that we did together has prepared you for this. I know you can do this."

"Usagi, I only called you a baka because I wanted you to become stronger, and you have."

"Usagi, I spent a long time looking for the princess and I feel that you have it in you even if you don't realize it yet. Hang in there!"

Usagi lays Ami's lifeless body down on the ground and tentatively stands. She raises the wand with the Silver Crystal.

Kunzite smiles. "At least Zoisite now knows that none of you ran from your death. But, this is the end. Zoisite died because of you and now I will make sure he can rest peacefully. Goodbye, princess!"

Kunzite prepares an energy attack. Lucky for you Princess, I am putting all of my feelings for Zoisite behind it. He throws the attack.

Suddenly Kunzite sees the Silver Crystal activate. How did she learn how to use it in such a short amount of time? This is impossible!

The power of the Silver Crystal overwhelms his attack and then overwhelms his defenses. Kunzite feels the horrible pain that Zoisite felt when the princess attacked Zoisite.

Unable to keep up, Kunzite retreats to the Dark Kingdom, defeated. Kunzite feels a horrible dread. Surely Queen Beryl's patience with me is also at an end.

Kunzite looks down at his sleeve. He sees a strand of blond hair. How could this have gotten there? Kunzite thinks. Maybe, when I used my energy attack, one strand of Sailor Moon's hair broke free and swirled around the room to land on my sleeve? Lucky.

Queen Beryl appears before him. "No luck?"

"My Queen, I have failed you."

"Kunzite, I have lost one of my Generals today, I don't need to lose two. You are still very useful to me. From now on, I want you to find Sailor Moon and steal the Silver Crystal."

"Yes, my Queen."

"Any ideas for a plan?"

Kunzite glances at the strand of hair. "Yes, my Queen."

Artemis sees Sailor Moon use the Silver Crystal to chase off Kunzite. The Silver Crystal has destroyed the alternate dimension. Unfortunately, the battle has completely totaled the building, and we are sitting in a pile of rubble.

Sailor Moon faints because of the exertion of using the Silver Crystal.

Luna fights back tears. "Artemis. It's so horrible."

Artemis goes over to Minako and feels her neck. "The Silver Crystal saved them. They're alive."

"But, they were dead."

Artemis nods. "The Silver Crystal has the power to impose the wish of the user on this world."

Luna nods in agreement.

"Luna, the Sailor Warriors should be out for many hours. Can you watch them for me? There's something I must do."

"Yes." Luna watches Artemis bound off into the starlit night. Artemis sure is a mysterious guy.
