Little Story

Heavy rain poured down on the entire city. The wind that was calm turned a little aggressive. Lightning flashed in succession from various directions. The blue sky was covered by thick dark clouds outside of Privet Drive no 4.

The children played in the Dursley family room after dinner. The parents enjoyed their own activities in the living room with a cup of coffee. Harry sat on the sofa with his legs crossed on the sofa. Leaning his back comfortably. Aster sat beside him, leaning on his shoulder reading a book about the history of Hogwarts. Occasionally he asked about things he read in the book even though Harry didn't fully understand but understood enough with some things. Aster became very attached to him after knowing that he was his uncle from the past. Luckily Harry quickly adjusted. Although at first it was uncomfortable to find a little child attached to him considering he didn't have a younger sibling.

James played wizard chess that he brought from home with Albus, Lily and Zinnia watching. Harry realized that Zinnia and Aster's situation was like Aunt Petunia and his mother. But Zinnia seemed to understand and didn't blame it like Aunt Petunia did. Zinnia was very nice to Aster and her other cousins. It doesn't matter that he doesn't have magic and was born a normal muggle.

Zinnia and Lily talked about many things, especially about muggles. Lily was curious about muggle things and how muggle schools work. Likewise, Zinnia asked about wizards.

Harry slowly started to get bored. He yawned, rubbing his eyes that were slowly getting heavy. He glanced at the clock on the wall which showed half past ten. It wasn't late yet but he was bored and quickly became sleepy.

"Kids, let's go home?" Ginny stood in the doorway already wearing her coat.

Aster pouted and closed her book. She was so happy when her cousin was at her house.

"Can't you stay longer auntie?" Aster asked. "It's late Aster you should go to bed too. We'll visit again another time." Ginny said smiling.

"Yeah, Lily I'll miss you." Aster said throwing his arms around Lily. Lily returned the hug tightly and kissed her cousin's cheek.

"We will meet again soon."

"Really?" Aster asked happily.

"Remember the end of July?" Lily asked in a whisper.

"O-oh oh I remember that." Aster smiled at Harry. Harry just raised his eyebrows confused and smiled slightly not hearing what the two women were talking about.

"I'll miss you." Aster hugged the older Harry.

"So do I."

After a while Aster released his hug and took turns hugging Ginny, James, Albus, Lily and Harry.

The Potters said their goodbyes and headed towards Mrs. Figg's house to use the floo powder. The Dursleys' fireplace was small and it was hard to floo into it so Harry used Mrs. Figg's fireplace. Dudley was going to make the fireplace bigger but he hadn't done it yet.

After asking Mrs. Figg's permission, the Potters stood in front of a fireplace large enough for two. James and Albus stepped forward first.

"Potter Manor, be pure hearted."

James said and put his hand on Albus' shoulder. Ginny and Lily left after and old Harry was left with Harry.

Old Harry threw a handful of powder until the fire turned green he stepped first followed by Harry.

"Hold me tight I'm afraid you'll end up in Knockturn Alley." He said teasingly, Harry's cheeks flushed in embarrassment, he remembered the incident.

Old Harry said the location and password, threw the powder and Harry felt the same sensation as when he first used floo powder.

His body felt like it was spinning, he closed his eyes to reduce the dizziness. Not long after he felt his body hit something soft, he opened his eyes and found himself falling on the furry carpet in front of the fireplace. Floo travel was not his specialty. He had never been used to it.

"Habits don't lie if they are the same."

Harry heard James say and he turned to look at him. Then he looked to his side and saw that old Harry had also fallen on the carpet. Old Harry groaned and stood up to brush the soot off his robes.

"Always the worst landings." Old Harry said holding out his hand to help Harry up.

"At least not in Knockturn Alley," Harry said with a laugh.

"What is it? Have you ever been to Knockturn Alley?" Asked James interestedly. He heard that the place was very dark and identical to black magic. But now the place has been closed and secured by the ministry. James only heard rumors from his friends.

"Just a silly story James, when I first Flooed I was supposed to go to Diagon Alley but I didn't say it clearly and correctly. So I ended up in Knockturn Alley." Old Harry said, feeling funny remembering it that experience.

"Wow really? I just found out." James was happy to learn about his father's past.

"Yeah, it happened in my second year with the Weasleys. Not a pleasant story. Luckily I met Hagrid and got to Diagon Alley."

"Is Knockturn Alley like the news says, Dad?"

"More or less, But thankfully the place is under the ministry's control now. That's enough for tonight I think you guys should go to bed. Good night."

James wanted to argue but his father had already left them. James turned to look at his young father with a hopeful look.

"Ee, I'm sleepy too. Good night." Said Harry going to his room.

Harry opened his room and crawled into bed and went to sleep without changing his clothes. He was too tired to do it.
