My name is Misty Waterflower, Ash's first traveling companion to join him on his quest of become a Pokémon Master. I stopped traveling with Ash when I had to go back home to run Cerulean City Gym due to my sisters' slacking. But now that my sisters are taking their Gym duties more seriously, I can now travel with Ash again, as well as Brock. I made new friends, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles. One thing that hasn't changed about me, is my fear and hate for Bug Pokémon. And now, we're facing a new, ugly Bug Pokémon mutation. And this one seems to enjoy taking advantage of my bug phobia and has kidnapped me. I just hope my friends get here and save me! I don't want to be anywhere near that big, bad bug any longer!

Episode 28: Enter the Dragonfly

Today, Ash and his friends along with our pizza munching heroes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles were relaxing at the Pokémon Center. The heroes were telling Serena about the adventures that Ash & co. had with the TMNS ever since they met them at New Tork City. They were right now explaining to Serena about the events of the Battle of Saffron City.
" . . . and after Optimus Prime chopped the mechanical claw, he blasted Team Pansies, sending them further into the Technodrome and they sank into the Earth's core with the giant battle machine. And that was how we won the Battle of Saffron City," said Ash. "Wow. You all saved the world with the help of a whole army of the world's greatest heroes. And on your birthday too, Ash," said Serena. "Mm-hmm," said Ash.
"But as you know, the Shredder and Krang are now trying to bring the Technodrome back to the surface," said Leonardo. "They're trying to steal resources and energy to repair it," said Donatello. "I'm still surprised that the Officer Jenny at Lumiose City has formed an alliance with you," said Serena. "Yes. After seeing how dangerous Shredder's forces are, she decided to put aside her pride and ask for our help since we know Shredhead more than anybody else," said Michelangelo. "And by working alongside with the police, it'll help strengthen the image of mutants in the public eye," said Raphael. "The only obstacle in our way is Dee Dustin and his boss, Burne," said Ninjara. "But no matter how many lies they'll throw at us, we along with Jenny won't back down," said Leonardo.

At an abandoned chemical factory, the Shredder and Baxter Stockman were up to no good once again. Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy were present too. The villains were using the chemical factory to make more mutagen for Krang. It was being poured into large vats that were used to make the chemicals the factory long before it was abandoned. Shredder was keeping in touch with Krang via the communicator. "Great idea of using this abandoned chemical to make more mutagen for me, Shredder," said Krang. "Why thank you, Krang. The method of making the mutagen may be primitive, but it's getting the job done," said Shredder. "Thanks for bringing us along, boss. I was getting bored, staying in the Technodrome," said Bebop. "I need someone to help me eliminate the Squirtles," said Shredder. "Those shellbacks are history next time we meet them," said Rocksteady. "We have three vats of mutagen filled," said Butch. "Excellent. We're proceeding as scheduled," said Shredder.

Just then, something smashed through the skylights and onto the balcony where the villains were at. It was some smoke bombs, which instantly exploded into smoke. "What the?!" asked Cassidy. "Guess who?" asked a familiar voice. It was James of Team Pansies. He and his two partners, Jessie and Meowth emerged from the smoke. The effects of the Eye of Zarnov had worn off and they were un-fused. They began to say their stupid motto.

"Prepare for trouble!" said Jessie. "Make it double!" said James. "To protect the world from devastation!" said Jessie. "To unite all peoples wi . . . ," said James.

Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy began to open fire at them with their laser blasters. Team Pansies yelped as they struggled to dodge the lasers. "Vhen vill you three simpletons get a clue that nobody wants to hear that bleep?!" asked Rocksteady. "Yeah. Besides, Butch and my version of the motto was the better version when we were part of Team Rocket," said Cassidy.
"What do you three want this time?" asked Shredder. "We're here to destroy this mutagen factory!" said Meowth. "Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet. "For what purpose?" asked Baxter. "Quite simple, mutants are the reason why are lives have gone downhill! First, that Leatherhead appears and helps the twerps destroy our Sinnoh operations before they even began! Then, we experienced our first humiliating defeat at the hands of those accursed Squirtles, which got us fired from Team Rocket! Then, you, Shredder, destroyed the whole Team Rocket organization and mutate our former comrades into mutants!" fumed Jessie. "Mutants are the scourge of the planet! They must be wiped clean!" said James. "And the mutagen with it! We'll not just destroy mutants, we'll find a way to cure our fellow Team Rocket agents and reform Team Rocket, bigger and better, with my partners and I as its leaders!" said Meowth.
"Oh yeah?! How are you going to cure us?!" asked Rocksteady. "Well . . . um . . . uh . . . ," said Team Pansies. Then, the four mutants began to fire at Team Pansies again. "Yanmega, Frillish, go!" said Jessie, throwing two Poké Balls. "Carnivine, Inkay, I choose you!" said James, throwing two Poké Balls. The four Pokémon were summoned to do battle. "Yanmega!" said Yanmega. "Frillish!" said Frillish. "Carnivine!" said Carnivine. "Inkay!" said Inkay. "So, they want to use their Pokémon against us, do they?" asked Butch. "Then ve'll fight like Pokémon as vell!" said Rocksteady. The four mutants put away their blasters and charged at Team Pansies' four Pokémon.
Frillish fired a Bubble Beam attack at Bebop. Bebop dodged it using his speed. He jumped at Frillish and his head started to glow red. He executed a Head Smash attack, hitting Frillish with his head, real hard. Frillish crashed to the ground. "Now that's called using your head!" said Bebop. He chuckled at his joke. Inkay fired a Psybeam at Rocksteady. Rocksteady took the attack head on, but was hardly affected. Inkay's eyes widened when it say that Rocksteady was not harmed. "My turn," said Rocksteady. He fired a Rock Blast attack, which hit Inkay, causing it to crash into James' face. "Oof!" cried James.
Carnivine fired a Bullet Seed attack at Cassidy, but Cassidy kept charging at Carnivine. Suddenly, Cassidy grabbed Carnivine by the neck. What Cassidy did next was very devious. Her lips started to turn from salmon pink to toxic purple. "Pucker up, you weed," said Cassidy. And then, Cassidy began to force a kiss on Carnivine's lips. Everybody's eyes widened in surprise at the sight of this. Even the Shredder was shocked. Cassidy then broke the kiss and threw Carnivine to the ground. It's face began to turn purple. "Very sneaky, babe. Executing Toxic through a kiss," said Rocksteady. "Thanks, Rocksteady, darling," said Cassidy. She wiped the remaining poison off of her lips. "I hope Poison Ivy doesn't start a lawsuit if she hears about this," said Bebop.
Yanmega fired a couple of Sonic Booms at Butch. But they were not very effective since Butch was a Rock-type and Sonic Boom was a Normal-type attack. Butch began to execute Rock Throw, throwing a couple of rocks at Yanmega. But he was careful not to damage the equipment. One of the rocks hit Yanmega, hard and it crashed into the Team Pansies' other three Pokémon. "That was too easy," said Butch. "No fair! We're Team Rocket!" said James. "We're supposed be unbeatable!" cried Jessie. "Unbeatable?! Bah! You would be if you actually bothered to train your Pokémon! You rely too much on weapons and robots to steal other Pokémon! That's why your Pokémon lost to our mutant henchmen! Because your Pokémon are weak and useless!" sneered Baxter.
Hearing this made Yanmega angry. Despite its injuries, it was determined to get back at Baxter for insulting it. It charged at Baxter and rammed him. "Oof!" cried Baxter. Baxter screamed as he started to fall off the balcony. He managed to grab onto a cable that was hanging from the balcony. The former Team Plasma scientist hanging over a vat of mutagen. Yanmega flew to where Baxter was. Jessie chuckled. "This is what you get for insulting Team Rocket! You'll die at our hands!" said Jessie. She cackled at the helpless scientist along with Yanmega.
But suddenly, Baxter grabbed onto Yanmega's wings, causing it to yelp. Jessie stopped cackling when she heard Yanmega's yelp. Baxter grinned as he clung onto Yanmega. "At least I won't die alone!" screamed Baxter. He laughed maniacally as he and Yanmega began to fall toward the mutagen vat. Jessie then tried to return Yanmega to its Poké Ball, but Cassidy fired a Hyper Beam, which caused an explosion that sent Team Pansies airborne and out of the mutagen plant. Baxter's laughter was drowned by the sound of him Jessie's Yanmega splashing into the mutagen vat. They didn't resurface. "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YANMEGA!" screamed Jessie. And she and her partners disappeared into the distance.
Shredder's mutants turned to their master. "So, like, what do we do now?" asked Rocksteady. "We move whatever mutagen we made to the Technodrome. It's not safe here since Team Pansies know where we are. Then, we'll strike the Squirtles' weakest point. Leonardo's to be precise," said the Shredder. "What do you mean?" asked Butch. "The cunning warrior attacks neither body nor mind," said the Shredder. "Then what?" asked Cassidy. "The heart, my mutants. First we attack his heart!" said Shredder.
Meanwhile, in the city, the TMNS had gone out on patrol, while Ash & co. were doing some tourism of the city. Merissa was at April's hotel room. She let out sigh. "It seem ever since Shredder started his quest to steal energy for the Technodrome, Leo's been too busy foiling Shredder's plot to spend romantic time with me," said Merissa. She sighed sadly again. "Don't worry, Merissa. I'm sure Leonardo will find an opportunity to spend time with you. You just have to be patient," said April. "I just wish that opportunity would be sooner," said Merissa.
Just then, the two girls heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it," said April. She went up to the door and opened it. It was a delivery boy carrying what appeared to be a vase of pink & yellow flowers. "April O'Neil?" asked the delivery boy. "That's me," said April. "I've got a flower delivery for your Primarina," said the delivery boy. "For me?!" asked Merissa excitedly. The female Primarina grabbed the flowers and looked for a card. "No card. But I don't need a card to know who it's from. It's from Leonardo!" said Merissa. She let out an excited shriek. Merissa smelled the flowers. "It has such a strange fragrance! But flowers are flowers," said Merissa. She giggled and tittered happily. Unfortunately, the delivery boy was hired by Shredder. He grabbed the delivery boy after he left. "You just made a delivery to April's hotel room?" asked Shredder. "Y-y-y-yes. Yes, sir. To M-m-merissa," said the delivery boy nervously. "Excellent. You've done your job well," said Shredder. He chuckled. The delivery boy fainted.
Merissa and April went to find the Squirtles at the Pokémon Center room where Ash & co. booked. She was rehearsing what she was going to say to Leonardo. "Oh, Leo. These flowers are wonderful. You actually did manage to find time to do something for me in between battles," said Merissa. She opened the door to the room, only to find Splinter. "Merissa, what brings you here?" asked Splinter. "I've got to talk to Leonardo, master Splinter. "They are not here. Is something wrong?" asked Splinter. "Well, he sent me this gorgeous plant. I want to thank him properly for this fl . . . ," said Merissa. "A doku plant?!" asked Splinter in alarm. "Leonardo sure thinks about me when he's not fi . . . ," said Merissa. Suddenly, Splinter grabbed the doku plant and threw into a trash can. "Hey! What's gotten into you?! Why did you . . . ?!" asked Merissa. "Did you inhale the blossoms?" asked Splinter. "Why, yes. Like I said, it's a lovely fragrance and . . . ," said Merissa. Suddenly, Merissa clutched her head. " . . . oh, suddenly I feel so strange," said Merissa. She fell, but Splinter caught her in his arms. "Merissa!" cried Splinter & April.
Outside the chemical plant, something began to emerge from the polluted water near the plant. It was Baxter Stockman. "Ugh. I can't believe I've actually survived that. But why do I feel so strange?" asked Baxter. Then, he saw his reflection in a nearby puddle. He had mutated due to his dip in the mutagen. But it was no ordinary mutation. He actually fused with Jessie's Yanmega. They were now one monstrosity, but with Baxter's mind in control. He now looked like a humanoid Yanmega, but still had his human hair. His clothes were all torn up. The middle limbs had ripped through his lab coat. Baxter Stockman then started to sob at the sight of his new transformation. But then, it turned into laughter; insane laughter. The type of laughter where you've gone insane after having a very rotten day. The already insane Baxter Stockman had really gone mad now. He then began to fly away, searching for the very idiots that caused him to mutate.
Merissa had passed out and Nurse Joy and Wigglytuff were doing her best to try to keep her alive. She put a wet towel on her forehead. Merissa had been experiencing a high fever. "It's a good thing you were here when it happened," said Joy. At that moment, the TMNS and Ninjara had arrived. They had changed out of their ninja gear before entering the center. "We're back, Master Splinter," said Leonardo. But then, he saw Nurse Joy. Then, he saw his girlfriend unconscious and gasped. He ran to her side. "What's happened to Merissa?!" asked Leonardo. "Someone sent her a doku plant," said April. "What's a doku plant?" asked Ninjara. "It is a rare flower from the far east. Its fragrance is deadly," said Splinter. "Is she . . . ," asked Michelangelo. "No, but she will not last long unless I can prepare an antidote, but to do so, I will need a gazai leaf. I do not know where one may be found in this part of the world. Wigglytuff will show you what it looks like," said Joy. "Wiggly," said Wigglytuff. Wigglytuff took out a book and showed everybody a picture of a gazai plant. Alexa happened to walking nearby and heard the conversation. "Hey, there's a greenhouse uptown that sells rare plants. We might find some there," said Alexa. "Well, come on, dudes, let's haul shell!" said Michelangelo. Leonardo turned to the unconscious Merissa. "Don't worry, Merissa. I promise you, whoever did this, will answer for his or her crimes," said Leonardo. And and his brothers along with Ninjara and Alexa left to find the greenhouse. "Hurry, my Squirtles. Without the gazai leaf, she will not survive beyond nightfall," said Splinter.
Meanwhile, Team Pansies were recovering from their blast off. They managed to cure Carnivine of its poisoning. Jessie was a sobbing wrecking. "First we lose Cacnea and Dustox at Hoenn. Then, we get fired from Team Rocket. After that, the whole organization is destroyed by Shredder and Krang's forces. And now, my Yanmega's been taken away by Baxter Stockman when he fell to his death! Is there no end to our cruelty?!" cried Jessie. And she resumed sobbing. "Don't worry, Jessie. I promise you. We'll make Shredder pay," said James. "We won't stop until we achieve our . . . ," said Meowth.
"Revenge! I must have revenge against my enemies!" yelled a voice above them. "Huh?" asked Team Pansies. They looked up to see Baxter Stockman, flying toward them, armed with a ray gun. He began to open fire at them. Team Pansies screamed as they ran out of Baxter's way. Baxter turned around and began to fire at them. Team Pansies got a good look at Baxter and recognized him. Meowth screamed. "It's Baxter!" cried Meowth. "That's right. It is I, Baxter Stockman, back from the dead, so to speak. The mutation has fused me and your Yanmega into what you see here. And I will make full use of my Yanmega abilities, something you failed to do, Jessie," said Baxter. Baxter unleashed an Ancient Power attack, which blasted the three. It was more powerful than when Jessie's Yanmega was normal. "RUN!" cried Team Pansies. They screamed and began to run away, with Baxter Stockman, laughing and chasing them.

Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy were finishing unloading the newly created mutagen from the transport module. "I'm sorry things didn't go quite according to plan. If Team Pansies hadn't attacked, we would've had more mutagen than what you see here," said Shredder. "Those three just like to pop up in the most inappropriate time," said Krang. As if right on cue, a TV report began to play. "This is just in. There are sightings of what appear to be a mutant Yanmega. It was seen chasing the infamous Team Rocket trio, Team Pansies," said the reporter. Footage of Baxter chasing Team Pansies started to play. People ran out of the way of the three thieves and their pursuer.
"Why does that Yanmega look so familiar?" asked Bebop. Everybody looked at the mutant Yanmega and were able to finally recognize it was Baxter. "Holy smokes! Is that Baxter?!" asked Cassidy. "It is. The mutagen must've fused him with Jessie's Yanmega," said Baxter. "Mutagen can actually fuse two organisms into a mutant?" asked Butch. "Yes. That's how the Shredder clones were mutated into Mega Shredder. The mutagen fused the three," said Krang. "Baxter certainly didn't waste time hunting down the ones who did this to him," said Rocksteady. "Come on. Let's head back to the surface and fetch Baxter," said Shredder. Shredder and his four minions quickly went into a transport module and it began to dig to the surface.
Meanwhile, Alexa was leading the TMNS and Ninjara to the plant nursery she mentioned. "Alexa, this nursery of yours better have one of those plants," said Donatello. "Yeah, bud. I'd hate for this to turn out to be a wild gazai chase," said Michelangelo. "Don't worry. I'm sure that they have a gazai plant there," said Alexa, winking. "Heliop," said Helioptile. Then, the six heard the screams of Team Pansies. They saw the three thieves running past them. "Is that . . . Team Pansies?" asked Ninjara. Then, they heard the buzzing of Baxter Stockman. "The Squirtles! I'll deal with them first!" said Baxter, grinning. He then charged and began to open fire at the TMNS, Ninjara and Alexa. "Whoa!" cried Alexa. Everybody yelped as they dodged the laser blasts. "What's that?" asked Ninjara. "Whatever it is, it's big and it's mean," said Donatello. "And it's definitely ticked off!" said Raphael.
Baxter continued to fire at our heroes. "Squirtles, scatter!" cried Leonardo. The heroes scattered in different directions to dodge the laser fire. Raphael grabbed a trashcan lid to shield himself from some of the laser fire. Michelangelo jumped into a nearby dumpster. Leonardo threw one of his katanas, which severed a nearby clothesline. Baxter got tangled in the clothesline and the clothes hanging from it. "Where'd that thing come from?" said Donatello. "I don't know. But whatever it is, we can't let it slow us down," said Alexa. Baxter burst free of the clothes line. "Into the sewers," said Ninjara, lifting up a manhole cover. The TMNS, Ninjara, Alexa and Helioptile all went into the sewers. "They've escaped, but Team Pansies won't. They're the ones responsible for what happened to me!" snarled Baxter.

The TMNS, Ninjara, Alexa and Helioptile ran through the sewers. "I'm like mondo confused. Where'd that humongous Yanmega come from, anyway?" asked Michelangelo. "Beats me, but there was something familiar about that creature, like we've met him someplace before," said Donatello. "Probably in the bughouse!" said Raphael. "And I can't shake the feeling that it's got something to do with Shredder," said Leonardo. "Forget Shredder. We've got to track down that gazai leaf and fast!" said Ninjara. "This time we'll take the Squirtle blimp," said Leonardo. "Primo notion! My feet are killing me!" said Michelangelo. "The sooner we get out these smelly sewers, the better," said Alexa. "Helioptile!" said Helioptile.

Up on the surface, Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy were looking for Baxter Stockman. "It's no use, boss. How are we gonna find this dragonfly guy in a burg this size?" asked Bebop. "If it really is Baxter, he'll be looking for Team Pansies," said Shredder. "So if ve find Team Pansies, ve find Baxter," said Rocksteady. Just then, the five villains heard Team Pansies' screams. They looked down and saw Baxter had resumed his pursuit of Team Pansies. "I thought we lost him!" cried James. The five villains chuckled. "He certainly didn't waste any time hunting Messy and Lame down," said Cassidy. "Now that's entertainment," chuckled Butch.
Baxter then opened his mouth and released red waves from his mouth at Team Pansies. "I think Baxter's using Yanmega's Bug Buzz attack!" cried James. "I've had enough of this deranged dragonfly! Seviper, smash this pest!" said Jessie, throwing a Poké Ball. "Yamask, go!" said James, throwing a Poké Ball too. The two Pokémon were summoned. "Seviper!" hissed Seviper. "Yamask!" said Yamask. "You can't stop me with those weaklings!" said Baxter. He flapped his wings, unleashed an Air Slash attack that hit Seviper. He then executed a Pursuit attack on Yamask. Both Pokémon were defeated effortlessly. Baxter then fired a Sonic Boom attack, which caused an explosion that sent them flying. "Look's like Team Rocket's blasting off again again!" cried Team Pansies. "Wobbuffet!" cried Wobbuffet. And they disappeared.
Shredder and his four mutants climbed down to greet Baxter. "Well, well, well. I must say that was quite the show you put on, Baxter," said Shredder. "Master Shredder," said Baxter. "You proved to be a better Yanmega than Jessie's was before you fused with it," said Shredder. "Thanks. I may be a mutant, but I still have my intellect as a human. But I still need to get revenge on the Squirtles," said Baxter. "Patience. We'll make sure you get your revenge on them. We just need to find them. And I might know what they're up to. Find them, and you shall have your revenge," said Shredder.
Back at the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy was still attending to Merissa. "Rest, Merissa," said Joy. April buried her face in Casey's shoulder and began to sob. "She was my Pokémon for only one month and something bad like this happens," said April. "Don't worry, April. The Squirtles will find the gazai leaf," said Casey. Just then, April's shell phone began to beep. "Yes?" asked April. "April, we have a lead on the gazai leaf," said Leonardo. The TMNS, Ninjara and Alexa were flying on the gazai leaf. "If Merissa does not receive the antidote soon, we fear it may be too late," said April.
Fortunately, the TMNS, Ninjara and Alexa arrived at the greenhouse. "Wait here, guys," said Alexa. She entered the greenhouse and looked around. She then spotted a gazai plant. "A gazai plant, exactly like the one in book Wigglytuff showed us!" said Alexa. "Helio," said Helioptile. The owner of the greenhouse approached Alexa. "You are most fortunate. That is last remaining Gazai plant in stock," said the greenhouse owner. "I'll take it off your hands," said Alexa. After paying the owner, Alexa and Helioptile exited out, carrying the gazai plant. "I got it," said Alexa. "Let's rock, dudes," said Michelangelo. "Hang on, Merissa. The cure is on the way," said Leonardo. Unfortunately, Baxter had spotted them. "The Squirtles! I've found them! They shall pay dearly for always getting in my way!" said Baxter.
Meanwhile, at a warehouse, Shredder was testing a new invention. "Is this vhere you want me to stand, boss?" asked Rocksteady. "Exactly. Just hold that pose," said Shredder as he operated a remote control. Suddenly, a large blue mechanical spider lowered from the ceiling and grabbed Rocksteady. "Vha . . . hey, boss!" cried Rocksteady. It then began to tie Rocksteady up in a sticky webbing. "Uhh! Vhat Are you doing ?!" asked Rocksteady. The mechanical spider began to drag Rocksteady. "V-uhh! Boss!" cried Rocksteady. Shredder then had the robotic spider hang Rocksteady upside down. "Not a bad test If i do say so myself," said Shredder. "Hey. I passed a test," said Rocksteady. "What is that thing, Boss?" asked Bebop. "One of Baxter's last inventions before his unfortunate, uh accident. I think I'll name it after one of those three Team Rocket simpletons," said Shredder. "You are?" asked Rocksteady. "I'll call it the knucklehead," said Shredder.
Just then, Shredder's communicator began to beep. It was Baxter. "I found them, master," said Baxter. "Excellent, Baxter! Where are you?" asked Shredder. "I'm not sure, but there's a great pizza parlor on the corner," said Baxter. "Well, that narrows it down! Never mind. I can hone in on your signal. Just stay there and don't let the Squirtles get away!" said Shredder. He turned off the communicator. "Cut him down and let's go. This time, those Squirtles are mine!," said Shredder.
That pizza parlor Baxter mentioned was where Ash & co. were having lunch at. "These pizzas sure are delicious," said Misty. "I'm sure the Squirtles would agree with you on that," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. He took a bite out of the slice he was eating. "And speaking of the Squirtles, I wonder what they're doing now?" asked Serena. "I'm wondering the same thing too," said Bonnie.
As the TMNS, Ninjara and Alexa were on their way back to the Squirtle Blimp, Baxter fired a laser at them.

"Don't look now, fellas, but I think we've been spotted," said Donatello. Baxter began to fire more lasers. "In fact, I'm sure of it!" said Donatello. "It's that dragonfly again!" said Leonardo. The TMNS, Ninjara and Alexa began to make a run for it. Ash and co. then heard the noise from the fight happening. "Look, its the Squirtles, Ninjara and Alexa," said Ash. "And it's looks like they're being chased by something!" said Brock. "Pika pi!" said Pikachu. "We gotta help them!" said Clemont. Ash and co. left the money for their lunch and began to rush to help their friends.
"Head for the blimp!" said Donatello. Just then, a van crossed in front of the heroes, blocking them. "There's never a crossing guard when you need one," said Michelangelo. "Hey, pedestrians have the right of way!" said Raphael. "Pedestrians, yes! Amphibians, no!" said Shredder as he emerged from the van, armed with a hand blaster. "Shredhead!" said Raphael. He fired a laser blast, but the heroes dodged it. "I knew that doku plant would lure you here," said Shredder. He chuckled. "Your feelings for that girl will be the finish of you and your brothers!" said Shredder. "So it was you! You caused Merissa to become sick!" said Leonardo angrily. "I'll handle this one, guys. Squirtle power!" said Donatello. He used his bo to propel himself toward Shredder and kicked him, knocking him down.

"The bo is mightier than the blaster," said Donatello. "Come, my robot beast. I have a job for you," said Shredder. He activated the controller and the knucklehead robot emerged from the van. "What's going on ?!" asked Donatello. The knucklehead jumped at Donatello and tackled hi. "'Step into my parlor,' said the knucklehead to the fly," taunted Shredder. He chuckled. "Quick, we've got to help Donatello!" said Leonardo. "For sure ! The dude's up to his shell in trouble!" said Michelangelo. The other TMNS and Ninjara ran to help Donatello.
"Ready for the second surprise? Rocksteady! Bebop! Butch! Cassidy!" said Shredder. Shredder's four goons emerged from the van. "Here ve are, boss. Ready to shoot and loot!" said Rocksteady. "Say goodbye, Squirtles," said Bebop. The four mutants began to open fire at our heroes. But then, Leonardo and Ninjara drew out their katanas and reflected the laser, right at the Knucklehead, knocking it off Donatello. "Oh, you cretins! Now look what you've done!" yelled Shredder. "Ve didn't know he was gonna do that," said Rocksteady. "We don't even know what 'cretins' means," said Bebop. "But Team Pansies do," said Butch.
"Oh, thanks, Leonardo. That was a real tight squeeze," said Donatello. "Don't mention it. Time to move, Squirtles," said Leonardo. The TMNS, Ninjara and Alexa got onto the Squirtle Blimp and began to take off. "Merissa, here we come," said Raphael. "Not quite, my fellow mutants!" said Baxter as he appeared. He fired a laser from his blaster, which caused the glider to detached from the blimp. Everybody screamed. "Hang on! We're gonna crash!" cried Leonardo.
The Squirtle Glider continued to lost altitude. Leonardo steered the controls, which prevented the Glider from crashing. "Real smooth landing, Leonardo," said Raphael. "Uh-oh!We've got company," said Donatello. Shredder's van stopped and he and his goons emerged from the vans. "Now, Squirtles, prepare to become history!" said Shredder. "We can't have a battle in this place! It's a famous landmark," said Leonardo. "Yeah. Shredder and those goons will really trash it," said Raphael. "Some villains have no appreciation for fine architecture, but there's one chance," said Donatello, pointing to the blimp. "We've got to get back aboard the blimp," said Donatello.
At that moment, a Water Gun attack hit Shredder and his goons. It was Misty's Lapras. And with her was Ash, Misty and the others. "Ash!" cried Michelangelo. "We'll hold off Shredder and his cronies! You get that gazai plant to Merissa!" said Alexa. "Thanks," said Ninjara. The five Pokémon ninjas began to climb up the building with suction cups to get to the Squirtle blimp. "After them!" said Shredder. Before the villains could follow, Meganium threw a couple of Razor Leaves, cutting them off. The Squirtles and Ninjara grabbed onto some ropes that were hanging from the blimp.
"They're getting away! Stop them!" said Shredder. Bebop and Rocksteady began to open fire at the five Pokémon ninjas. "Oh, man. We're like sitting Squirtles up here," said Michelangelo. "Whose bright idea was this, anyway?" asked Donatello. "Yours," said Raphael. "Well, you don't have to rub it in," said Donatello. "What are we going to do?" asked Ninjara. "I've got an idea. Hang on, guys!" cried Leonardo. He then flipped a switch to release the air from the blimp. Everybody yelped. But suddenly, Leonardo dropped the gazai plant. "The gazai plant!" cried Leonardo. Baxter caught the plant in his hands. "Idiots! How could you let them get away?!" yelled Shredder.
"Look! The Squirtles dropped this!" said Baxter. "Aha! The only thing that can cure Merissa. And I have it!" said Shredder as Baxter handed the gazai plant to Shredder. "Not for long!" said Misty, charging at Shredder. "Misty, don't!" cried Brock. Baxter then stood in front of Misty. Misty froze at the sight of Baxter due to him being a bug. She trembled and her knees started to knock. "Boo," said Baxter. Misty screamed and then fainted. Baxter then grabbed Misty. "And we have a hostage," said Baxter. "Stay where you are brats, or the girl dies," said Butch. Ash gritted his teeth angrily. Shredder and his goons then began to leave, with the gazai plant and the captive Misty.
Up in the skies, the Squirtle Blimp continued to lose its air. "Hey, man, like, why is this thing making those weird sounds?" asked Michelangelo. 'Cause we're running out of gas, naturally," said Raphael. The deflated Squirtle Blimp began to fall out of the sky. "Better put on our Squirtle trouper shoe packs!" said Donatello. They jumped off the Squirtle Blimp. "Geronimo!" said most of the Squirtles and Ninjara. "Cowabunga!" said Michelangelo. And they deployed their parachutes.
The TMNS, Ninjara and Ash & co. met up with Splinter, April, Casey and Nurse Joy at the Pokémon Center. "We tried, master, but we failed," said Leonardo. "We had the gazai plant, but then along came Shredder," said Donatello. "And not only that, he kidnapped Misty too," said Ash. "If only I spent more time with Merissa instead being so focused on my ninja training! If she dies, I'll never forgive myself!" said Leonardo. "Face it, dudes. We blew it," said Michelangelo. "Yeah. And poor, innocent Merissa is the one who has to pay," said Raphael. Leonardo banged his fist on the wall. "Not quite, my young Squirtles. The battle is never over until it is over," said Splinter. "Splinter's right. We'll find Shredder, Misty and that plant if we have to comb every inch of this city," said Donatello.
Just then, Donatello's shell phone began to beep. He answered it. And the who did it was Shredder. "Attention, Squirtles. I patched into your frequency to extend an invitation," said Shredder. "Forget it, Shredder. We're in no mood to party," said Raphael. "Yeah. Unless, of course, there's plenty of pizza," said Michelangelo. "I hold in my hand the key to Merissa's survival. You'll need it if you wish to save her. And you'll also need to save your friend, Misty. And to do that, you'll have to meet me and my faithful followers in battle. No tricks, no fancy weapons, just six against six, ninja style, to the finish! The sixth member will be your Froakie, Ash Ketchum," said Shredder. And he ended the transmission.
"Why, that dirty rat!" said Michelangelo. But Splinter was next to him. "Oh, sorry, Master Splinter. "An understandable error," said Splinter. "I can't wait. We can whip those turkeys in a fair fight," said Donatello. "Fair? That slime ball will probably use everything from flamethrowers to nuclear warheads," said Raphael. "Team Pansies have always cheated in their battles with us. So Shredder may do the same thing too," said Ash. "You're right, Raphael, but I have an idea how to even things up," said Leonardo.
Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch, Cassidy and Baxter Stockman were hiding out the Santalune City junkyard. They had Misty all tied up. The mutant goons were covering a secret weapon that Shredder and Baxter were planning to unleash. "That's it! Make sure you cover those electrodes!" said Baxter. "Are you certain this will work?" asked Shredder. "Even though they're mutants, the Squirtles are still Water-type Pokémon. These electrodes will zap them til they're reduced to fried Squirtles," said Baxter. "Of course. Using their elemental weakness against them. Perfect! All we must do is lure the Squirtles into it and they'll be good as dead!" said Shredder. Baxter began to fly away. "Where are you going?" asked Cassidy. "I'm going to have some fun with our hostage," said Baxter, chuckling.
He flew to where Misty was all tied up. Her Poké Balls had been taken from her. Misty woke up and the first thing she saw was Baxter. She screamed at the sight of the mutated scientist. She was unaware it was Baxter yet. "I see you're awake, little lady," said Baxter. "Stay away from me, you gnat!" cried Misty. "Now, now. Is that any way to address the great Baxter Stockman?" asked Baxter. Misty's eyes widened when she heard this. "Baxter?!" asked Misty. "That's right. It's me," said Baxter. "What in the world happened to you?" asked Misty. "You can thank Team Pansies for it. They ambushed us at an abandoned chemical factory we were using to make mutagen. Jessie's Yanmega attacked me and was going to make me fall into one of the vats. But I took Yanmega with me in the fall. But instead of dying, the mutagen fused us together, making us one, but with my mind in control," said Baxter. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" asked Misty. "I am. You never took me seriously as a human. But you fear me now, now that I'm what you fear. A bug," said Baxter. Misty whimpered and shut her eyes. Oh Ash, Squirtles, where are you?! Please get me away from this crazed bug!, thought Misty.
The TMNS, Ninjara, Ash and Froakie arrived to the junkyard. The TMNS and Ninjara were armed with their weapons. "Nice place Shredder chose. A junkyard really fits his personality," said Donatello. "Exactamundo! Cesspool city!" said Michelangelo. "Hey, where is old tin-skin, anyway?" asked Raphael. They turned around and saw Shredder was behind them. "There!" said Leonardo. "Ah! Squirtles, Ninjara, Ash. You're here. Excellent," said Shredder. He held out the gazai plant. "Come and get it or are you afraid?" asked Shredder. "Us, afraid?" asked Ninjara. "We welcome a fair fight!" said Ash. "Froakie Froa!" said Froakie. "Then you've come to the right place, my friends! Now!" said Shredder.

Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy emerged and began to fire at the heroes. The heroes dodged the laser fire. The lasers hit some scrap metal, causing an explosion. Baxter began to fire at the heroes with his own laser blaster. Raphael jumped out of the way of the laser blasts. Donatello ran past a car, which was destroyed by one of the laser blasts. The heroes regrouped. "I hate to say it, guys, but fall back!" said Leonardo. The Squirtles, Ninjara, Ash and Froakie began to walk backwards. "That's it. Just a little farther," said Shredder. The electrodes were starting to charge up. "Hey, we're being herded toward something," said Raphael. "Yeah, but what? Oh, I hate surprises like this," said Donatello.
Suddenly, the Battle Shell emerged from its hiding place. And driving it was Splinter. Casey and Pikachu were with him too. "What?!" asked Shredder. The Battle Shell fired lasers that disintegrated Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy's blasters. "All right! Fantastic! Way to go, Splinter!" said the TMNS, Ninjara and Ash. "Master, I thought you didn't know how to drive!" said Raphael. "It's remarkable what one can do when one is forced to," said Splinter.
But then, Froakie sensed an incoming Energy Ball attack. Froakie fired his Bubble attack to counter the attack. It was fired by James' Amoonguss. And with it was Team Pansies. "It's Team Pansies!" said Ninjara. "You're all here! We can destroy all of you!" said James. "Shredder, I've got a score to settle with you and your goons for what you did to my Yanmega!" said Jessie. "So that mutant Yanmega is really Jessie's?" asked Ash. "Fused with me, Baxter Stockman!" said Baxter. Froakie then began to throw frubbles at Team Pansies. "Wobbuffet, use Mirror Coat!" said Jessie. Wobbuffet's body began to glow. But the Mirror Coat didn't reflect the frubbles. Team Pansies got covered in frubbles. "Ugh! What is this stuff?!" asked Meowth. "Get it off me!" said Jessie. "I guess Wobbuffet's Mirror Coat can't reflect Froakie's frubbles," said Ash. Ninjara then fired a Fire Blast attack, which hit Team Pansies, burning them. Splinter turned to Pikachu. "Pikachu, care to have the pleasure of sending them blasting off?" asked Splinter. "Oh yeah!" said Pikachu, grinning. The Battle Shell took aim at Team Pansies with its missile launchers. "Uh-oh!" cried Team Pansies. Pikachu pressed the fire button, which fired some missiles at Team Pansies. They screamed and tried to run for it, but they were heat seeking missiles. The missiles hit Team Pansies, causing an explosion that sent them flying. "Three strikes, we're out for this episode!" screamed Team Pansies. "Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet. And they disappeared.
Splinter fired more lasers from the Battle Shell, which blasted Shredder. It caused him to drop the gazai plant. The heroes gasped. Raphael caught the gazai plant before it hit the ground. "Well, what do you know?" asked Raphael. "Baxter, get that plant!" said Shredder. "Yes, master," said Baxter. He began to charge at the heroes and fire at them. But the heroes dodged the laser fire. But Baxter was so careless, he flew right into the electrodes. "Help meeeeeee!" screamed Baxter as he got zapped. Baxter then fell to the ground, black as soot. "Oh, blast!" said Shredder. Butch ran up to Baxter. "Hey, Baxter. You all right?" asked Butch. "Newton's Law of Gravity says that every object in the Universe pulls on every other object. The bigger the object, the stronger the pull. But the greater the distance between the objects, the weaker the pull becomes," said Baxter, all dazed. "Time to retreat!" said Shredder. He began to flee. "Hey, wait for us!" said Bebop. And he and the others ran after Shredder. Butch carried Baxter.

The heroes went up to the Battle Shell. "Awesome shooting, Master Splinter," said Michelangelo. "Especially for someone who doesn't believe in violence," said Donatello. Splinter blushed and chuckled. "Hey, guys! I found Misty!" said Ash. He had untied Misty. "Is Baxter gone?" asked Misty. "Yes. He along with his goons," said Ash.
Everybody went back to the Pokémon Center, with the gazai plant in tow. Nurse Joy was now making the antidote, mixing in the gazai leaves. "Now to add it to the potion," said Joy. "Oh, it's just got to work!" said Donatello. Michelangelo wasn't present for some reason. Nurse Joy then had Merissa start to drink the antidote. Everybody watched anxiously, especially Leonardo. After drinking the whole antidote, Merissa opened her eyes. "Oh, hi, guys," said Merissa. "Hooray! It worked! Terrific!" cheered everybody. "I-i must have fainted. I hope I didn't cause you any trouble," said Merissa. "Nothing we couldn't handle, Merissa," said Ash.
Leonardo went up to Merissa. "Merissa, the doku plant you got, it was sent by Shredder," said Leonardo. "Shredder?! Why that no good, bladed faced brute!" said Merissa. "But don't worry. We sent him and his goons packing again. I'm sorry I haven't made time to spend with you, Merissa. But when we get back to Lumiose City, I promise to take you on a date tonight," said Leonardo. Merissa then hugged Leonardo. She was also crying tears of joy. "Oh Leo! I knew you haven't forgotten about me! I love you so much!" said Merissa. "And I love you too, Merissa," said Leonardo. Merissa then gave Leonardo a big kiss on his lips. This caused his eyes to turn into pink hearts. Leonardo let out a sigh of love.
Just then, April began to sniff something. "What's that strange odor?" asked April. "Uh-oh! I hope it's not another doku plant," said Leonardo. At that moment, Michelangelo entered the room. "It's a new flavor pizza I just invented; anchovies smothered in gazai leaves! Ha ha ha ha!" said Michelangelo. "Ah, yuck! No! Gross! Get it away!" said the others. "Yeah, I was hoping you'd say that. Leaves more for me!" said Michelangelo. "I thought you didn't like anchovies," said Serena. "Seeing Merissa eat anchovies gave me the idea. Here's gazai in your eye!" said Michelangelo. He chuckled before devouring a pizza slice.
Later, the TMNS, Splinter, Ninjara, Merissa, April and Casey went back to Lumiose City. Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Serena, Misty, Brock, Clemont and Wes were getting ready to leave as well. Brock was sad that they were going to leave Alexa. Viola was present too. Meganium was out of her Poké Ball. "Ash, I imagine you're heading to your next Pokémon Gym battle. In that case, how about the Gym in Cyllage City," asked Alexa. "Cyllage City Gym, that sounds great!" said Ash. Helioptile jumped onto Ash's arm. "You take care, Helioptile," said Ash. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. "Heli," said Helioptile. Helioptile ran back to Alexa's side. "What am I going to do without you, Alexa?" asked Brock pathetically. "You survived without Alexa when we first got to Kalos, you can do it again," said Misty. "Is he always like this when we have to leave?" asked Wes. "You have no idea," said Nancy.
"Okay, then, we're going to head out!" said Clemont. "Thanks again!" said Ash. "Pika Pika!" said Pikachu. "Bye bye!" said Serena. "Viola, Alexa, Helioptile, bye!" said Bonnie. "Dedenne!" said Dedenne. And Ash and co. started to headed out. "I'll be seeing you all again really soon!" said Alexa as she and her sister waved goodbye. And so, after helping the Squirtles defeat Shredder and Baxter and saving Merissa's life, our heroes set off to the Cyllage City Gym, as the journey continues.
"So, Serena, where are you headed off to from here?" asked Ash. "Uh, me?" asked Serena. "Uh, me? Well, I . . . uh . . . I'm . . . ," said Serena. "Why don't you just come along with us?" asked Ash. "Pika!" said Pikachu. "Yeah. That'd be fun!" said Bonnie. She ran up to Serena and grabbed her hand. "Come with us! We'll have a great time!" said Bonnie. "Yeah! Sounds like an excellent idea to me!" said Clemont. "You mean it? Even if it means I may incur Meganium's bad side?" asked Serena. "Yes. With the likes of the Foot Clan and the Decepticons out there, it's too dangerous to travel alone," said Misty. "Especially if you're a rookie Trainer," said Brock. "Hm. Sure! How could I say no all all? We still have to rescue my Rhyhorn," said Serena, winking. "Pika!" said Pikachu. "That's the spirit!" said Clemont. "Huh!" said Bonnie, giggling. Meganium's eyes widened, hearing that Serena accepted.
"Come on!" said Bonnie, dragging Serena up to Ash. Serena went up to Ash and hugged him once again. "Okay, okay. No need to be clingy," said Ash. "Sorry," said Serena. She smiled an embarrassed smile. Meganium got mad again. So mad that she was engulfed in flames and looked like a burnt out match when the flames died down. "Wether you like or not, Meganium, she's sticking with us," said Ash. "I'm coming as well since I know more about Shadow Pokémon than anybody else," said Wes.
"You kids won't be going alone," said a voice. It was Springer. Arcee and Drift were with them. "Springer, Arcee, Drift, you're coming too?" asked Nancy. "Yes. With the Decepticons out there, you'll need experts who know how to fight them," said Arcee. "Indeed," said Drift. "Ash, you're planning to travel to Cyllage Gym, aren't you?" asked Serena. "Yeah," said Ash. "Well, I can show you how to get there," said Serena, reaching into her pocket. She took out a pink electronic pocketbook. "Ta-da! Here's where we are now," said Serena. She displayed a map of Kalos. "Santalune City. But look here. Lumiose City is between us and Cyllage City. So we have to travel through Lumiose City before we get there," said Serena. She closed her pocketbook. "I guess you're right!" said Ash. Serena chuckled. "Great! There's a boutique in Lumiose City with the cutest clothes! And there's an awesome bakery that has best pastries you've ever tasted!" said Serena. Bonnie gasped and her mouth started to drool. "What are we waiting for? Let's hurry up!" said Serena. "But let's travel in style," said Arcee. She and her two comrades transformed into their car modes. "Get on in," said Springer. "Yipee!" said Bonnie. Ash & co. then got into the three Autobots. The three Autobots and their passengers then began to leave Santalune City.

Shredder and his goons arrived back to the Technodrome. Baxter was rushed to the medical lab. "Baxter is getting medical treatment even as we speak," said Cassidy. "Good. I hate to lose a good mind like Baxter's," said Shredder. "Those accursed Squirtles, brats and Team Pansies all keep getting in our way of trying to repair the Technodrome! The more they interfere, the longer it's going to take for us to repair it!" said Krang. "If this keeps up, we'll never get it fixed!" fumed Shredder.
(End Music)
At that moment, one of the monitors turned on by itself. Appearing on the monitor was Tatsu. "Masters Shredder & Krang, have I contacted you at a bad time?" asked Tatsu. "Tatsu, I hope you've brought Krang and I good news," said Shredder. "I have. I managed to get in contact with the Kalos branch of the Foot Clan. I've gathered troops and we'll be heading back to the Technodrome soon," said Tatsu. "And while you're at it, bring some scientists too. They could help us with the Technodrome repairs as well as making new inventions and weapons," said Krang. "At once. Over and out," said Tatsu. And the transmission ended. "The best news I've heard in days. Once more, the Kalos Region will tremble at the name of the Foot, like in days of old," sneered Shredder. Feeling satisfied, he went to meditate in his chambers.
That night, unaware of what Shredder and Krang were up to, Leonardo and Merissa were now ready to go on their date. Leonardo was wearing a simple blue bowtie and a white collar. "I'm ready, Merissa," said Leonardo. Merissa emerged, all dressed up. She was wearing a dress with long, light blue sleeves, a dark blue bodice, and a blue shirt along with black heels. She wore a big royal blue bow in her hair. "So am I," said Merissa. She giggled and did a twirl. "You look beautiful tonight, Merissa, my love," said Leonardo. "Oh thank you, Leonardo," said Merissa. She then picked up Leonardo and gave him a big hug. The two then went out into the city to start their date.
With things quiet at Lumiose City right now, Leonardo's finally found time to go on a date with Merissa. Tune in to more episodes of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles" for more action, more romance and more laughs. Squirtle power!

I hoped you enjoyed this adaptation of "Enter the Fly". As I said in the previous chapter, since there is no housefly Pokémon, I had to use some other type of insect Pokémon for Baxter to mutate. But as you saw, he mutated into a Yanmega by fusing with Jessie's. And that just adds another reason for Team Pansies to hate Shredder and his forces.
