Neb: What can I say accept for I don't own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, Beyblade Rise, or any other forms of Beyblade. This is just an OC fanfic, starring my OC Domori Venger. Careful what you wish for, because you never know what that implies. Domori faced off in a tournament Sin put together, but instead of facing against his friends he had to battle against Fumiya and won again. When he finally got a chance to face off against Delta, the thrill of a challenge begun to fill his mind again, but their battle was interrupted by Arthur who broke Meteor Draconids in midair. Shadow Domori faced off against Arthur for revenge, but Abyss Draconids was defeated. Now back at the drawing board Domori deals with the internal struggle of dealing with his other personas. I hope you all enjoy the story.
Sin panted as she tried to catch her breath. She, Valt, and Shu had been running all over town for the past week trying to find Domori. A lot had happened since the fight against Arthur. Gwyn developed his own blade called Genesis and was now learning from Dante. Dante and Delta had their own blades destroyed by Arthur later on as well, and had designed a new Dragon and a new Diabolos to take their blades place.
"Oh Domori," Sin groaned. She remembered when Shu told her that talking was the answer. She was so sure she could recreate the moment they had in their last tournament if she just made her own tournament. To be fair, for a second it did work. It wasn't her, but Delta who was getting through to the real Domori. His golden light was beginning to return, but then this Arthur guy, the new king of beyblade ruined everything. She shook her head and then headed home. Maybe Domori returned there after licking his wounds.
Domori opened his eyes in an old abandoned warehouse. This was where he and the Beyblasters use to train back in the day. Back before they found a gym that would take it's place. He looked down at the broken pieces of his Draconids and then sighed. "I pushed for this," Domori admitted. "I should have talked to you more Draconids, I thought you were satisfied talking with my other selves." But he was wrong, even Shadow Domori couldn't win again Arthur. His beast mode retreated inwards the moment Draconids was shattered, meaning the two of them were linked. A combination of both Domori and Draconids personalities sown into a monster of a blader.
"Pretty sad right," a voice spoke up.
Domori must have been going crazy again, because that voice sounded like his own. From the shadows, a see through version of Domori with a bored expression across his face begun to emerge."
"Ah, my shadow."
"Do you see a cocky grin on this face?", his other self yawned. "I'm you man, the real you."
"How can you be the real me? I'm the real me!"
"It's confusing really," his bored self stated. "I was always more of an emotion than an actual persona. But we split the moment Draconids was born. Draconids didn't need my weakness, and to be honest I agreed with him. We needed you to behave like a mentor, given the plan for Komoto and Crystal."
"They were going to be my new arms," Domori remembered as he looked down at his hands and remembered when they were shaky and bandaged. "I... why are you back?"
"Because I remain unsatisfied," his bored persona explained. "I worked hard to create the ultimate defense type, and what was to show for it? You abandoned our Drake for a Lui knock off."
"Draconids was better," Domori shook his head. "We both knew that. That's why we got Komoto and Crystal together. TO create the ultimate attack type from gathering their data."
"We gave them stamina types," his bored self reminded. "Don't get your memories mixed up. It wasn't until we saw Valt on T.V facing our rival, that we wanted to be like them." His bored self yawned again before holding up a gamma version of their Quality Drake. "I'm taking my body back. I made you to be a more interactive version of us, since I couldn't make friends. Since I couldn't get our parents attention. Since our sister got bored of the game and left us. But you squandered that dream and became reclusive yourself, and from there I resurfaced as a persona, when this was my body to begin with."
"You aren't making any sense," Domori shook his head. He held up Abyss Draconids and sighed. "But, if you want a fight."
"Oh please," his bored self yawned. "No one can get past my defenses. You think by making another Lui blade, you somehow grown past yourself. I will show you what our real strength was, when our team called us blade dork, when the kids were too scared to face me."
3 Domori jumps back mimicking Aiger's launch.
2 Bored Domori yawns and then aims for the center.
1 Both leap into the air.
"Let it rip," they both yelled.
Gamma Drake and Abyss Draconids enters the stadium and Gamma Drake goes for the center.
"Don't let him get in position Draconids," Domori yelled. "Abyss Uproar!"
"Going for a low sweep like Lui," Bored Domori figured. "You think I haven't learned. You thought that we couldn't win against him! Now go drake, Quality Downwards Spiral!" Quality Drake had a mastery of wind from within the holes of it's wings. It used airflow to direct upwards currents, but Gamma Drake has the ability to flip it's rotation ring and shoot wind downwards.
"W-what?" Domori watched as his Abyss Draconids flipped and then flew out out of the ring.
"Wanna try again, or admit I am better," Bored Domori yawned. "It always ended this way, no matter who I faced. Airflow plus the rotation deflection feature made it impossible to claim the center from my Drake."
"But Lui did," Domori remembered. "We were shocked that someone made it through."
Bored Domori yawned again before reloading his blade. "A fluke. We used our funds to buy all the best parts we could find, and we awakened Drake's true power with the addition of the rotation feature. The only thing we didn't understand was that aura."
"Resonance," Domori corrected.
"Lui's filled the whole stadium," Bored Domori nodded. "Abyss Draconids isn't capable of producing that light. It was forged from darkness."
Domori reloaded it into his launcher. "It still follows the principles of our efforts. The Spring Loaded system is built in all Draconids."
"Fine, try again."
They both launched their beys again and Gamma Drake took the center. Instead of using wind, it just let Abyss Draconids deflect against it's outer ring.
"See, no real damage," Bored Domori explained. "It's so annoying how perfect it is."
"What's annoying is how many people think the burst prevention system surpasses it," Domori chuckled.
"Some knights will hide in the armor," Bored Domori yawned. "But we are dragons. Rotation Crash!"
"Abyss Repulse!" Domori's eyes widened when the blades couldn't even connect. It was like the wind was keeping his Draconids from even touching Gamma Drake. "So annoying!"
"Now you get it! Quality Twister!" Draconids was sent flying again, but there was one feature that Domori included just for this situation.
"Shadow me did not forgo the air flow," Domori stated.
Bored Domori gave a confused look, but then saw Draconids float in the air for a moment. His eyes widened when Draconids begun to turn and fall towards the arena. "No!"
"Draconic Spring Dive!", Domori commanded. "You adjusted for low sweeps, not attacks from above!"
Bored Domori fell back as he watched his Gamma Drake get bursted from the crash from above.
Domori looked around as the dust settled and saw his other self was nowhere to be seen.
Domori made his way out of the warehouse, but he wasn't in town anymore. Instead he was in a jungle where a boy with golden beast like eyes glared back at him.
"It's about time," his beast mode yelled. "I've been waiting to become the permanent Domori!"
