Chapter 75: Celebrating
Santana's POV
Sunday 20th April 2025*
Today my family and I are doing something special and fun. Our whole family is going to be spending time at Brittany's parent's house and having a family lunch together because it's easter. Brittany's parents are cooking and have invited all of the parents, children, grandchildren, partners and siblings. I am looking forward to it because I get to spend time with my family and it means I don't even need to cook today.
Brittany's parents have organised an easter egg hunt for all of the children so the kids are currently doing that at the moment. Jaxon and Xavier are running around with their cousins Ben and Zoe, finding the easter eggs. Some of the other children including Olivia are too young to do it themselves so Brittany and her two sisters are helping them. I am so grateful that Brittany is helping them and not me because an easter egg hunt isn't really my thing. I don't have the patience for something like that.
"Are you managing to find the easter eggs?" I ask Jaxon and Xavier as they run past me.
"Yeah" Jaxon shouts from a distance as he continues running around.
"That's good" I say while laughing. Honestly, my children are just so cute and funny.
"Hey" Brittany says walking towards me.
"Hi" I smile at my wife. "Where's Olivia?" I ask.
"She's with Grace and the other kids right now" Brittany tells me.
"That's cool" I nod.
"I just wanted to see you for a second because I've barely seen you since we got here so I slipped away from the group" Brittany smiles.
"That's nice, I like that" I smile back.
"I also left because I sort of wanted to kiss you" Brittany smirks.
"I can be down with that" I smirk back.
"Good" Brittany says before leaning in to kiss me.
"No, a little more" I say as she goes to pull away.
"Ok" Brittany says, deepening the kiss.
"That's better" I smile as we pull away.
"Brittany, what are you doing?" Grace asks annoyed, walking towards us.
"Looking for easter eggs over in this direction" Brittany shrugs at her sister.
"Well, you certainly won't find them on your wife's lips" Grace states.
"Ok, so I momentarily took a break to kiss my wife" Brittany says shrugging again.
"Can you just take this a little more seriously please because these eggs need to be found before lunch. Time is of the essence" Grace states.
"What's the big deal?" Brittany asks, not seeing the rush.
"I'm bored out of my mind with this activity so the quicker we find all of the eggs, the better" Grace replies.
"I hear you" I say laughing. I know exactly how she feels.
"Look Grace, if you don't like helping the kids with this then Haley and I can just do it. It's really not a big deal so sit the rest of the game out" Brittany says.
"Ok, I will" Grace nods.
"I better go, I will see you two soon" Brittany says before heading back over to the kids and Haley.
"I appreciate my parents organising this for the kids but it's not for me. Running around finding chocolate eggs just doesn't excite me" Grace says.
"I felt the same, hence the reason I left Brittany to it" I laugh.
"I tried to get my husband to take my place but my dad needed his help with the barbeque so I had no other option" Grace laughs.
"My sister was pouring some wine the last time I checked so let's go and find her" I say.
"Now that is an activity I like" Garce laughs.
"Me too" I laugh.

Once the easter egg hunt finished, it was finally time for us all to sit down and eat. We've now all got our drinks sorted and we're all helping ourselves to some food.
"I know it's easter and that's why we're all here together today but I just wanted to say something else before we all begin eating" I start.
"Ok" my dad nods.
"We haven't really all been properly together in some time which means we haven't really had the chance to celebrate Jessica and Carly getting engaged so I just want to make a quick toast" I say.
"Good idea" Brittany nods.
"I think I speak for everyone here that we're all really happy for you both so I just want to say congratulations and that we're all really looking forward to the wedding whenever it may be" I smile at my sister and her girlfriend.
"Thank you" Carly smiles back.
"Ok, here's to Carly and Jessica" I say as I raise my glass in the air.
"Carly and Jessica" everyone says as we all raise our glasses and clink them together.
"Ok everyone, let's eat" Brittany's dad says.
"Yeah, we better because Jaxon looks incredibly hungry" Brittany says laughing as Jaxon sits there desperately wanting to eat.
"Do your mommies not feed you at home?" David asks Jaxon amused as he eats as if he's never eaten before.
"No grandpa" Jaxon shakes his head.
"Excuse me Jaxon, of course we feed you" Brittany says laughing.
"Do they just not feed you enough food, is that it?" Carly asks Jaxon.
"Yeah" Jaxon giggles.
"Jaxon reminds me a lot of you Brittany because you were always hungry when you were his age" David says.
"I guess it's because he's always active like I was so he's working up an appetite" Brittany says.
"That's probably it" I agree.

Thursday 24th April 2025*
It's the middle of the night and I'm just lying in bed, peacefully sleeping when I hear a voice causing me to wake up. "Santana" I hear my wife whisper to me.
"I'm asleep" I reply annoyed.
"I can't move" Brittany states.
"What?" I question half asleep.
"You need to roll me over onto my side" she tells me.
"Stop playing, I'm sleeping" I sigh as I try my best to fall back asleep.
"I'm serious right now, Santana. My back has seized up and I can't move. I need to get onto my side because that usually helps. I can't move right now with the way I'm lying on my back" Brittany says in a slightly panicked tone.
"I'm sorry, I thought you were messing around" I apologise as I sit up in bed.
"I would do it myself but I'm too far away from the nightstand so I have nothing to hold onto to pull myself onto my side so I need your help. If you could just push me a little" she states.
"I'll help you, of course I will" I tell my wife as I help her get from her back to lying on her side.
"Thanks" Brittany says, sighing in relief.
"Are you ok?" I ask in concern.
"I will be" Brittany replies.
"Are you sure?" I ask worriedly.
"Yeah, let's just go back to sleep" Brittany says.

We both eventually got back to sleep for a few hours. However, I am now awake and out of bed because I heard Olivia crying so I went to go and see if she was ok. She just wanted feeding so we went downstairs and I got her bottle ready for her. Shortly after feeding her, Jaxon and Xavier woke up so I got them out of bed and then all 4 of us hung out together while Brittany was still in bed. I wanted to let my wife sleep a little longer since she woke up during the night in pain so I figured she needed her rest.
"Once we've had breakfast, you all are going to daycare for a few hours while mommy and I go to work" I tell the kids.
"Ok" Jaxon smiles at me.
"Morning" Brittany replies cheerfully as she walks into the kitchen and straight over to the children to kiss them good morning.
"Hi mommy" Jaxon smiles at Brittany.
"How are we all this morning?" Brittany asks happily as she walks towards me before kissing Olivia gently on the head and then kissing my cheek.
"Hungry" Jaxon tells Brittany.
"You're hungry this morning? Well, we will need to sort that out" Brittany smiles at Jaxon.
"Thank you" Jaxon says smiling back at Brittany.
"How are you?" Brittany asks me as she comfortingly places her hand on my shoulder.
"Uh…fine" I say distractedly while giving Brittany a confused look.
"Why are you looking at me like that, what's wrong?" Brittany asks frowning in confusion.
"You're acting all cheerful like nothing has happened so it's thrown me off a bit" I state.
"What do you mean? I didn't realise anything did happen" Brittany replies, still confused.
"Last night you woke up in bed in a panic because your back seized up" I say.
"Oh that, that was nothing" Brittany says waving it off like it's not important.
"It sounded serious and I was worried about you" I admit.
"It's happened before but it's no big deal. I just need to get on my side and the pain usually disappears. I am absolutely fine now" Brittany assures me.
"If you're sure" I say.
"I am, honestly don't worry about it" Brittany smiles at me.
"Ok" I nod as I smile back. If my wife says she's fine then I believe her.

Friday 2nd May 2025*
Brittany and I have spent the morning apart but I am finally now getting to go home and see my wife and children. Brittany was spending some time with the children at home while I went to a dentist appointment and then I dropped by Quinn's place to see her. I'm just walking into the house just now but everything seems quiet. I am guessing it's nap time for the children so I'm not going to disturb them, instead I am going to find my wife.
When I walk into the bedroom, I see the side of my bed pressed up against the wall leaving me with access only to one side of the bed. Meanwhile Brittany is occupying that empty space where my bed usually stays.
"Hi" I say as I walk into the room.
"Hey" Brittany turns around to smile at me.
"What is going on in here?" I ask my wife confused.
"Our little boy has turned into quite the painter" Brittany chuckles.
"Huh?" I say confused.
"Jaxon decided he didn't like the way our bedroom was decorated so he thought he'd cheer things up and did some artistry on our wall. He found his own way to the kids paint sets and painted a wonderful masterpiece by our bed so here I am, trying to paint over it with some wall paint" Brittany explains.
"You're kidding me" I say shocked.
"Nope" Brittany shakes her head at me.
"Fuck!" I sigh.
"I've moved the bed over so I could paint over the area of wall easier. Obviously once it's dry, I'll move our bed back to the middle of the wall" Brittany says.
"That's cool" I say as I walk towards the affected wall to see the mess.
"I don't know when he did this but I'm going to find out" Brittany tells me as we stare at our son's masterpiece.
"I mean what the actual fuck is this?" I ask, rolling my eyes.
"I want to say it's a dog but I really don't know" Brittany shrugs.
"Well, did you ask him?" I ask.
"Yes, I did, but he's two years old. His response did not make sense, he just giggled at me" Brittany says amused.
"Well, he certainly won't be giggling when I get a hold of him. He's suddenly going to become extremely familiar with the naughty step because he'll be on it for some time" I say.
"Yeah, we will need to speak to him about this" Brittany agrees.
"I'm guessing the kids are napping at the moment" I say.
"They are and they've not long just went to sleep so it'll be some time before they're awake again" Brittany replies.
"That's ok, I'll talk to Jaxon later. In the meantime, I'll hang out with you" I smile at my wife.
"Sounds good, I am almost done painting" Brittany smiles back.

After hanging out with Brittany for a while, the kids woke from their nap so we all hung out together. We then had dinner together as family before hanging out together some more. It's bedtime now for the kids so Brittany and I have just gotten them settled to go to sleep. It really didn't take them long to go to sleep so now my wife and I are going to spend some time together on our own. We're just in our bedroom getting changed so we can hang out in comfort.
"I think the paint on the wall has dried in quite nicely so we can probably move the bed back now to its original position" I tell my wife.
"I was just thinking maybe we should leave the bed here" Brittany shrugs.
"No, it's not practical here. We both have to get out the same side which isn't the best if the person in at the wall needs to get up first in the morning" I state.
"I would happily roll over you anytime" Brittany smirks at me.
"Yes, I know you would" I laugh.
"I'm guessing it's still a no then?" Brittany asks.
"Yeah, it's just really not practical leaving it there babe" I admit. "We need access to both sides of the bed especially when one of us is working and the other isn't" I add.
"Ok" Brittany nods.
"If you want a change then we could move the bed somewhere else, just as long as we have access to both sides" I suggest.
"Yeah, maybe. I'll think about it" Brittany smiles.
"Ok" I smile back.

Sunday 11th May 2025*
Today happens to be a very special day because it's Mother's Day so I'm excited to spend time with my children but also the rest of my family. Brittany and I are spending some quality time with all three children right now and then later on, our whole family is getting together again to have lunch together. This time we'll be going to a restaurant though so it takes the pressure off anyone having to cook, especially the mothers in the family.
The kids have just given Brittany and I our Mother's Day gifts so we're about to open them now. Brittany and I helped the children pick out a present for one another to give to us for Mother's Day so I'm hopeful we'll both like the gifts.
"I love this necklace, thank you all so much" Brittany says as she hugs all three of our children.
"Ok, is it my turn now?" I ask excitedly as I pick up my present.
"Yeah mom" Jaxon smiles at me.
"Ok, let's see what I've been gifted" I say as I begin unwrapping the paper from the present.
"Do you like?" Jaxon asks me as I finished unwrapping the gift.
"I do, thank you all so much. It's my favorite perfume" I say as I hug all of my children to thank them.
"Now, as much as I loved our gifts, I think what would make me even happier is spending time with you all so will we all hang out together just now and play with some toys?" Brittany asks the kids.
"Yeah" Xavier replies excitedly.
"Ok, you two go and pick out some toys for us to play with" I tell Jaxon and Xavier.
"Ok" Jaxon nods before he and his brother run over to their toybox and pick something out that all 5 of us can partake in.

We're all heading to the restaurant right now for lunch in Brittany's car. We're running slightly behind schedule so we're rushing around to get to lunch on time. We spent a little too long playing with the kids and their toys which then caused them to fall behind when we were getting ready for the day so our whole schedule shifted unfortunately.
"Ok we're here so we better all head inside" Brittany says as we get out of the car and get the kids out of the back.
"We need to hurry because we're a little late" I say as we all rush towards the restaurant and go inside.
"Hi, we're part of the Lopez/Pierce reservation" Brittany says to the waiter.
"That's fine, they're all seated through there if you all want to go through" the waiter smiles.
"Thank you" I say and then we all rush to where our families are seated.
"Sorry, everyone if I seem a bit on edge. It was Santana that drove us here today so you can appreciate why I'm like that" Brittany says as we get the kids sat down.
"Very funny" I say glaring at my wife, not appreciating the comment.
"She's got a point Santana because your driving can be a little erratic at times" my brother says.
"It didn't help either that we're in my car today" Brittany says.
"You're letting Santana drive your car?" Carly asks surprised.
"Hey, I drive Brittany's car all the time. We've always driven each other's cars" I point out.
"Yeah, in the past you did that but ever since Brittany got her brand-new car last year, she's been a lot more cautious with it and who she lets drive it" Carly says.
"Yeah, you're braver than me Brittany letting Santana loose in your car" my dad says.
"I'm not listening to any of you anymore" I say as I get sat down.
"We're just saying we're surprised because Brittany's new car means a lot to her, that's all" Marco shrugs.
"Oh, don't I know how much it means to her. Do you guys know she nearly didn't drive me to the hospital when I went into labor with Olivia?" I say.
"Ok, it wasn't like that" Brittany says laughing.
"Yes it was, you were afraid I would give birth on you brand new leather seats" I state.
"Ok, I admit I was apprehensive about my new car being turned into a birthing suite but I was always going to drive you to the hospital. I just would have preferred to drive you in one of your own vehicles" Brittany shrugs.
"So, what happened?" my mom asks amused.
"Brittany finally gave in and we went in her new car" I say.
"Somehow I think we all knew you would have gotten your way in the end Santana" Carly laughs.

Saturday 24th May 2025*
My children are spending the day with my parents because they wanted some quality time with their grandchildren so my wife and I are kid free at the moment. I had hoped to spend my free time with my wife doing something exciting and fun but it wasn't to be. Brittany had other plans for us today hence the reason I am currently walking into my workplace with a face like thunder, in not a very good mood.
"I can't actually believe you're making me work on a Saturday, especially a Saturday where we're children free" I say while glaring at my wife.
"I'm sorry but life goes on my love" Brittany smiles at me.
"I don't know why you're smiling at me because I ain't going to smile back. I'm not in the mood" I state.
"Ok" Brittany laughs.
"Why are you laughing? There's nothing funny going on right now" I say.
"I'm laughing because you are so unbelievably cute and I find it very endearing when you get annoyed. It's the cute annoyed Santana you are the moment not the really really annoyed Santana where you're angry" Brittany explains.
"Ok, I admit I have been angrier in situations but I am still annoyed so you shouldn't find that cute" I point out.
"Ok, I'll try and not find it cute anymore" Brittany shrugs.
"Good" I nod.
"Ok, I am going to head to our office to do some work right now. Are you coming or do you need to speak to anyone before you start work?" Brittany asks me.
"I'm going to our office. There is no way I can start work especially on a Saturday without a coffee so the coffee machine in our office is my first port of call for today" I say.
"Fair enough" Brittany nods.
Once we get to our office, Brittany makes us some coffee and then we start working. We're working on our own areas of the business to start and then Brittany disappears to speak to some of her team while I remain in the office working for a while.
"Happy anniversary" Brittany says happily, skipping back into the office.
"Uh…what?" I ask confused.
"Happy anniversary" Brittany repeats, smiling at me.
"Brittany, what anniversary?" I ask, still confused. It's not our wedding anniversary because we got married in November so I know that ain't it.
"What anniversary could it be?" my wife smirks at me.
"I don't know, I mean it could be anything. Is it the anniversary of our first kiss?" I reply.
"No definitely not" Brittany laughs. "Our first kiss was at our work Christmas party and considering this is May then no" she adds.
"I know I kissed you for the first time that night but I was meaning our first proper kiss as a couple" I state.
"Oh, you mean after the friends with benefits thing when we got serious?" Brittany asks.
"Yeah" I nod.
"Well wrong again because that was actually the 22nd of May 2020. Close but not coconut babe" Brittany smiles.
"Anniversary of our first date?" I ask.
"Nope, not it" Brittany shakes her head.
"We proposed to each other in May 2021, right? Is that it?" I ask.
"Not that either, no" Brittany laughs. "Man, we do like the month of May for some reason" she chuckles.
"What anniversary are we talking about then because clearly I don't know" I sigh. I'm getting a little tired of this game.
"Do you notice what I'm wearing?" Brittany asks smirking at me.
"Yeah, it's hideous" I state.
"Do you remember anything specific about this outfit?" Brittany asks.
"Yeah, I remember you wore it once and I've never let you wear it ever since. It was your first and last time with it on because it was awful" I state.
"Uh…huh, and when was that?" she asks me.
"The first day we ever met" I state.
"Bingo!" Brittany smirks.
"Oh, is this the anniversary of when you started working for me?" I say surprised. I forgot when that actually was.
"Yeah, six years to the day your life changed forever" Brittany smirks.
"We still don't know if it's changed for the good or the bad yet" I smirk back.
"Well, I certainly know my life has changed for the better since the day we met" Brittany smiles.
"Yeah, who am I kidding. Of course mine was changed for the better" I say.
"Good" Brittany smiles again.
"So, let me clarify, the only reason we're working today is because you wanted to recreate your first day?" I ask.
"Yeah, that's exactly it" Brittany laughs.
"That's actually kinda cute" I smile at my wife.
"How cute?" Brittany smirks.
"Like really really cute" I say.
"Cute enough that I can get a kiss?" Brittany asks flirtatiously.
"Yeah, for sure" I say as I walk closer to my wife and kiss her.
"Is that it, just a peck?" Brittany laughs.
"What more did you want, we're at work?" I laugh.
"Since when has that ever stopped us?" Brittany points out.
"That's true so I guess we do have a minute to sit down with each other and have a sexy little kiss" I smile as I lead my wife over to the couch to sit down.
We waste no time in getting straight to the point and kissing each other. We're kissing for some time and things are starting to heat up. I eventually move to straddle my wife as we wrap our arms around one another. Things are really starting to kick up a notch now.
"Wait…just hold on a minute" Brittany says pulling away from my lips after a few minutes.
"What's wrong, can you not get it up?" I whisper.
"I can perform just fine thank you" Brittany says defensively.
"These things happen sometimes, it's ok" I assure her.
"Not to me they don't so everything is working just fine" Brittany states.
"So, what's wrong?" I ask.
"All I was going to say was that I don't want to do this here. I want to do it somewhere more comfortable and private" she assures me.
"We're in our office at work babe; it's not going to get anymore comfortable or private in here" I point out.
"I know but there are places where we could go that would be more comfortable and private" Brittany says.
"Like where?" I ask confused.
"Home" Brittany shrugs.
"I thought we were working?" I point out.
"I mean we were but we've established I only convinced you to work because I wanted to recreate our first day so we don't really need to continue anymore. The kids are still with your parents for the rest of the day so we might as well take advantage of that and go home and spend some time together on our own" Brittany suggests.
"I will not say no to that so let's go" I smile. I would love to spend the rest of my day with my wife on our own and even better in the bedroom.
Brittany and I quickly packed up our things and hurriedly headed out of the building to the parking lot. We then got into my car and I drove us home. The minute we were inside we didn't waste any time in picking up where we left off and our lips were attached to one another's in seconds. We continued making out as we tried our best to make our way over to the stairs.
"I seriously need to get you undressed right now" Brittany tells me as her hands move around my body.
"Uh…you seriously do not" I hear my sister say from behind me.
"Oh my god, where the fuck did you come from?" I say in surprise as I pull away from my wife and spin around.
"How the hell did you get in here and why are you here?" Brittany asks confused.
"I used my mom's spare key" Carly shrugs.
"Uh-huh, but why?" I say.
"You didn't bring Xavier's teddy bear with you when you dropped the kids off at our parents place earlier so I had to swing by and get it. You know he'll never nap without it" Carly explains.
"Yeah, that is true so fair enough" Brittany nods.
"I assumed no one would be home right now since you two said you were working today so I thought that meant you were actually working and it wasn't code for sex hence the reason I am here letting myself into the house" Carly says.
"We were working, we just sort of left early" I shrug.
"If you say so" Carly shrugs back.
"We were" I assure her.
"Ok, I believe you" Carly laughs. "Anyway, I'm looking for this teddy bear so do one of you care to get it for me?" she asks.
"I'll get it, it's on Xavier's bed" Brittany says as she runs upstairs to retrieve it.
"So, how's things?" I ask my sister as we fill our time while we wait on Brittany.
"Yeah, everything is good with me" Carly smiles. "You?" she asks.
"As you could tell, things are very good with me and my wife" I laugh.
"Yeah, it seemed that way" Carly laughs. "I'm surprised you didn't actually notice I was here though because my car is parked outside and the front door was unlocked" she adds.
"I mean I didn't really notice your car outside but now you mention it, Brittany and I didn't unlock the door when we walked in so I don't know why we didn't realise that" I laugh.
"Caught up in the moment I guess" Carly teases.
"Yeah, we probably were. Too busy being in love that we couldn't see anything else around us" I laugh.
"Ok, one teddy bear right here" Brittany says as she walks back downstairs and hands it to Carly.
"Well, I better go now and get this toy back to your son so he can take a nap with your other children" Carly explains.
"Ok" Brittany nods.
"We'll talk to you soon" I smile at my sister as we walk towards the door.
"I will leave you both to it now so as you were" Carly smirks as she opens the front door to leave.
"Ok" I laugh and then my sister leaves.
"So, shall we pick up where we were or is the moment ruined now?" Brittany asks.
"We're still home alone and kid free so the moment aint ruined for me. I will happily pick things back up" I smirk at my wife.
"Sounds good to me" Brittany smirks back as she grabs my hand and leads me upstairs.
