Hello everyone! And welcome to the next chapter of the "Key to the Titans". I hope you all have a great Merry Christmas and a great New Year's Eve as well. I had to take a small hiatus from writing since a lot was going on in my life recently, hence why I haven't posted much. I apologize ahead of time if this chapter takes awhile to get out, but I always want to make sure everything is awesome and ready to go. Now onto to the story!

Chapter 71: Monstropolis Part 1

(Radiant Garden, Ansem's Lab)

The apprentices to Ansem the Wise were hard at work at restoring the rest of Ansem's lab to its former glory, with almost all the glass from the broken jars swept up, all the discarded books were placed back in alphabetic order, and all the papers that were strewn across the floor were straightened back out. Ienzo was standing alone in the computer room, typing away on the keyboard to double check on things around the town.

"Tron, how are the new security systems holding up?" Ienzo asked, typing on a few more keys while a digitized version of Tron appeared on the screen.

"A definitive upgrade than before. I didn't have many options to upgrade the systems without User authorization. Even after replacing the MCP, there's only so much I can do on this side without your assistance." Tron replied.

"Glad I could help, Tron. It was always Master Ansem's goal to ensure Radiant Garden's safety and now we can." Ienzo said with a melancholic tone.

"I'm sure he would be proud of your achievements, Ienzo." Tron spoke up, making the apprentice nod slowly in agreement before focusing back on the tasks.

"Any updates on the Replica program?" Ienzo asked, changing the subject.

"Unfortunately, I ran into an error. While there is some info saved within the datascape, most of the vital information and resources that would be required for the program has been manually removed." Tron said, surprising the young apprentice.

"How is that possible? None of us were here." Ienzo asked.

"The removal seems to have occurred during the Heartless invasion. I have security footage, but it may not wield answers due to its short length." Tron said.

"Let me see it, Tron." Ienzo said.

"Beginning playback." Tron said as a video screen popped up on the monitor. The video opened up to a security camera feed hanging from the far-left corner of the room moving about normally. The camera then panned back to the entrance, revealing a black-cloaked figure standing in the doorway. The camera zoomed in on the figure, beginning the process of identification, but the figure simply raised his hand and fired a blast of energy at the camera, as if he knew where it was, destroying the camera. The video ended as Ienzo stared at the screen with squinted eyes.

"End of playback." Tron replied.

"That could only be…" Ienzo said, knowing exactly who was under that hood, but now wondering what he did there, besides paying his usual visit to the Chamber of Repose.

"Do you know who that was, Ienzo?" Tron asked.

"Yes, our former Superior when we were Nobodies. He was visiting the Chamber of Repose. It was a tradition of his." Ienzo said.

"I knew someone was sneaking in to use the computer from time to time. But I could never find out who, since the MCP barred me from ever discovering the culprit." Tron said.

"And now it seems he did more than just a simple visit." Ienzo replied.

"It seems that the only one who could help us get the replica program started is the one who fully expanded on it." Tron said, making Ienzo look down in thought.

"Even…So, it seems we hit a brick wall on the program." The apprentice replied.

"I'll keep delving into the datascape. Hopefully, I can find an answer." Tron said.

"Hm, never heard of a computer program be hopeful before." Ienzo replied.

"Worth giving it a try, right?" Tron said, making the apprentice smirk to himself. He was soon brought out of his thoughts when he heard Aeleus clear his throat, the broad apprentice standing at the doorway.

"Ienzo, we have visitors." Aeleus said as he stepped to the side, revealing Riku, Mickey, Lea, Robin, and Starfire walking in.

"Hey, Ienzo!" Mickey said with a smile and wave.

"Ah, Your Majesty. Welcome. Good to see you as well, Riku." Ienzo said as the two nod in acknowledgement. Suddenly, Lea marched past and slung an arm around Ienzo's neck.

"Hey, Ienzo. How are you and the stone giant getting along?" Lea asked. Aeleus grunted in response while Ienzo moved Lea's arm away.

"We're doing just fine, Lea. And you are holding up well?" Ienzo asked.

"Just Axel now. And yeah, so far. Just endless training and nothing else." Lea replied. Ienzo and Aeleus share a look of confusion before focusing on the others.

"And these are Sora's friends. Robin and Starfire. They are accompanying Riku, King Mickey and Lea." Aeleus said.

"It is very nice to meet you both and the spear wielder." Starfire said.

"It is an honor to meet you both as well." Ienzo said with a smile while nodding to them.

"This place is amazing. The castle, the town, the lab. And it's all maintained here?" Robin asked as he inspected the computer.

"Thank you, Robin." Tron said from the computer, making the Boy Wonder jump a little. "And yes, all security systems electronics are monitored here but maintained in other areas of the world." Tron replied. Everyone nodded in agreement at the statement before turning to the task at hand.

"We weren't expecting you all to be back so soon. I assume you've run into some new information." Ienzo assumed, based on the group's quick return.

"Yes, we went in search of a trail that would help us find Aqua, Terra, and Ventus and we found them on Princess Cinderella's world. Now we just need to find a way to see where the trails lead." Riku explained while Mickey pulled out his Gummiphone and pulled up a picture of the spectral energy trails.

"We were hoping to see if Tron could scan the trails and see where they might lead." Mickey replied in a hopeful tone, passing the phone to Ienzo who examined it a little before stepping over to the computer.

"Tron, do you think it could be done?" Ienzo asked, connecting the phone to the computer and uploading the photo to Tron's database.

"Analyzing. Give me a minute and I'll see where the trails lead us." Tron informed the group as he scanned the picture and endpoints of the trails, leaving the room quiet for a beat.

"Was the Princess safe when you visited?" Aeleus asked suddenly, making everyone turn to look at him.

"As safe as can be. We got a visit from Ansem, but besides a little Heartless, he pretty much confirmed that they have no interest in the Princesses." Lea replied, leaning against the side of the door with a smile on his face from destroying the Heartless. The large bodyguard crossed his arms in thought, making everyone wonder what was going through his head.

"Please, isn't that good news? Cinderella and the others are in no danger." Starfire asked in reply.

"Normally, it would be. But Xehanort is a man who thinks several steps ahead. If he isn't targeting the Princesses or taking them into account, then the question remains: who is he truly targeting?" Aeleus asked, making everyone share a look as the thought crossed all their minds. Suddenly, the computer lit up as an image of Tron appeared, making everyone stand in anticipation.

"I believe I have mapped out the full path of the trail. Though I'm unsure if it will yield any results." Tron informed them with a neutral tone.

"Can you show us, Tron? Anything can help." Mickey asked. Tron nodded in response as he displayed a 3D map render of all the known worlds in the universe. With the orange, green, and blue trails traveling across a select few, mainly the Princess's worlds.

"When you found the trails Mickey, they lit up all across the realms showcasing where they've gone. It appears they went to the Princesses' worlds, then here at the Gardens where they all converged. After that, they all split off again and go to different worlds and then one by one, visiting Destiny Islands." Tron explained, moving the map to highlight each world that the Wayfinder trio visited during their adventures, with the last highlight being on Destiny Islands.

"Destiny Islands? But isn't that Sora's…" Robin asked, remembering when Sora mentioned it.

"Yeah, that's our home. I know Aqua and Terra were there, but I didn't know Ventus was there too." Riku replied, looking at the image of his home with a look of nostalgia.

"He must've been there when you were away." Ienzo assumed.

"Most likely…" Riku agreed, looking down in thought.

"Where do the trails go after that, Tron?" Aeleus asked.

"After that, the trails go cold. Terra's and Ventus' trail ends somewhere in the realms, but I cannot pinpoint where. Aqua's trail goes on a little longer, ending right back here in the Gardens." Tron analyzed, tracking the trail's endpoints, while Riku and Mickey let out a groan.

"And that's where her trail ends. A dead end." Riku muttered out.

"I am sorry. I hoped I would provide a better answer for you all." Tron apologized as the 3D map dissipated.

"There is no need to apologize, computer voice. You have helped us plenty." Starfire responded to the computer monitor, talking directly to Tron. Tron's avatar smiled and nodded in thanks before dissipating back into data.

"So, what's our big game plan now? Galivanting through the worlds they've been to and ending up with nothing again?" Lea asked from the doorway.

"No, that would just be a waste of time. We need to figure out a new plan to save them." Riku exclaimed, running a hand through his hair in frustration at another fruitless search. Robin walked up to him and placed a comforting hand on the boy's shoulder, making Riku turn to look at him.

"We're going to find them. We're not giving up." Robin replied in a sincere tone. Riku smiled and nodded in agreement as he took a breath.

"Please, what will be our plan for the game?" Starfire asked, curious about what they'll do next, while everyone but Robin got a little confused with her dialect.

"For now, we should head back to Master Yen Sid's Tower and wait for the others to come back. Then we can devise a plan for what to do next." Mickey replied with everyone nodding in agreement.

"Before you leave, I was hoping to inform you all about our progress on the replica program." Ienzo replied, making Lea roll his eyes while Riku and Mickey turned to listen while Robin and Starfire's eyes widened comically.

"The what?!" Robin and Starfire exclaimed.

"Ugh, Vexen's pet project…I'll fill them in while you tell them the news." Lea spoke up as he righted himself from the doorway and led the Titans out of the room, leaving the two apprentices and the Keyblade Masters alone.

"How is the progress going?" Riku asked, crossing his arms in thought.

"Unfortunately, we have hit a roadblock in accessing the program." Aeleus replied bluntly and shocking the two Keyblade Wielders.

"Nothing helpful came from Ansem's research?" Mickey asked in shock.

"No. While Master Ansem dabbled in the replica program; our fellow apprentice, Even take it to further heights than we imagined." Ienzo replied, thinking back to his former caretaker.

"Even?" Riku asked, confused on who they were referring to.

"Even was the original person of the Organization member, Vexen. The one who made-"Aeleus reminded the boy, making him look down in shock.

"My replica. Of course." Riku muttered to himself.

"You had a replica? When?" Mickey exclaimed.

"Back at Castle Oblivion. Vexen made a replica of me when I fought him." Riku commented.

"After that, Vexen allowed the replica to be used by Marluxia and Larxene. As a result, his memories were manipulated by Namine." Aeleus replied.

"Axel must've found the replica after Marluxia's defeat since he used him to destroy my Nobody." Ienzo informed them, straightening out his ascot in response.

"Then I defeated him in the Castle's version of Twilight Town. What about Vexen or Even?" Riku asked, feeling a light stirring in his heart when his replica was mentioned and wanting to change the subject.

"Vexen was destroyed. Slewed by Axel." Aeleus replied, clenching his fist. Ienzo placed a comforting hand on the large man's shoulder, letting him calm down as Ienzo spoke up.

"He was recompleted after that with the rest of us, but he didn't wake up as soon as the rest of us. When Lea left and we returned from informing Leon about our return, Even was gone." Ienzo replied.

"Dilan and I searched the entire town, but we ended up with nothing." Aeleus replied with a crestfallen look on his face.

"That could only mean Xehanort took him. He's probably trying to refill his ranks using the replicas." Mickey replied, scratching his head in thought as everyone nodded in agreement.

"What about Even's research?" Riku asked, making everyone look toward him.

"Left incomplete. Or manually sabotaged to leave us at this point." Ienzo said, turning to look toward the computer in frustration.

"Sabotaged?" Mickey asked.

"By an intruder. From our former Superior not too long ago." Aeleus grunted out in suppressed anger.

"Xemnas was here?" Mickey exclaimed in shock. Ienzo clutched his hands in anger as well while planting them next to the keyboards.

"Yes, during the Heartless invasion to see Master Aqua's armor. But he made off with a few selected documents as well. There may be something left for the program, but we won't be able to make any progress without Even here." Ienzo muttered out, his hands now clutching at the keyboards in anger.

"Ienzo…" Aeleus replied, noticing the anger emanating from the young apprentice, who take a breath to calm himself before turning back to Riku and Mickey.

"My apologies. I wish we could give you both some good news, but that is not our luck." The apprentice let out as he clutched his hand into a fist and looked at the ground in disappointment. The young Keyblade Master walked up to him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Ienzo, you, Aeleus, Dilan and Tron are doing more than enough to help us. You all should be proud of yourselves for everything you managed to accomplish. And I know Ansem would be proud too." Riku mentioned, making Ienzo look at him with wide eyes.

"How would you…You've…You've met him, haven't you?" Ienzo asked, realization emanating from his voice while Aeleus' face showed the same while Riku nodded in agreement.

"He helped us. In a time when he was a dark place, he helped us." The boy revealed in remembrance.

"And in the end, he redeemed himself." Mickey commented. Ienzo and Aeleus smiled brightly at hearing their Master's last moments from those who were actually there. They nodded in thanks while Riku and Mickey nodded back. "We should head to Yen Sid's Tower, let everyone know what we discovered." Mickey suggested. Riku nodded as he stepped away from Ienzo.

"Good luck. To all of you." Aeleus wished.

"We will keep you all informed of any new discoveries." Ienzo replied.

"We'll do the same. Let's go, Riku." Mickey told them as he waved goodbye while Riku nodded his goodbye as well while they regrouped with Lea, Robin, and Starfire.

"Alright, let's-"Riku was about to say when he was interrupted by the Titan's question.

"You have a clone?!" Robin and Starfire yelled out together.

"Replica! I had a replica! Now please let's go." Riku yelled back in a calming tone.

"But we have so many questions!" Starfire called out while the two apprentices chuckled to themselves.

(Meanwhile, on Sora's Gummi Ship)

The group were all seated in their chairs in the cockpit as the Gummi Ship flew across the stars toward its next location. After finishing everything up in Rapunzel's world, the group decided to continue their journey to the next world, though they found that the world was in an entirely different sector and had to activate the checkpoints so they could travel around easier. With their expert piloting, Sora, Donald and Goofy managed to hit the last checkpoint and clear out any remaining major Heartless threats.

"All righty then. That should be the last of them." Goofy yelped out in glee.

"Let's see where Sora leads us this time." Donald replied with a shrug.

"Hey, have some faith, haven't led us astray yet." Sora announced as he stood up from his chair.

"Keyword being 'yet.'" Raven remarked while Kairi laughed a little.

"Reminds me of the time we all went on a hunt back home for buried treasure. Riku buried something in the sand and challenged us all to find it. Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie gave up after a while, but Sora and I kept going. Though it took us forever since someone kept turning us around." Kairi recalled, leaning back in her chair at the funny memory.

"Hey, it's not my fault, Riku just kept misleading me every time we got close." Sora pointed out.

"Did you guys ever find it?" Beast Boy asked, poking his head around Kairi's chair.

"Eventually, after a few hours." Kairi revealed, making Cyborg poke his head around her chair.

"He had you searching for that long? It'd had better be worth something." Cyborg exclaimed.

"Sora…" Kairi hinted at with a knowing smirk while Sora shrank in on himself with a blush.

"A bunch of papou fruits and all the wooden swords we've used over the years." Sora muttered out in embarrassment, making everyone laugh or giggle in response. "It's not funny. We wasted a whole day for that hunt, and it was just a joke." Sora exclaimed while Raven watched his reaction with interest.

"All that for fruit and toy swords! Man, what a letdown." Beast Boy chuckled out from his laughter.

"At least tell me you got back at him for that!" Donald asked, wanting to know the full details

"Of course, I won the race we had after that to make up for it." Sora announced with a proud smile, while Kairi motioned to everyone that it was only by a fraction that he won. The boy smiled to himself at his victory against his best friend as he summoned his new Keyblade that he got as a gift from Rapunzel: The handle was based off a green and yellow flower with curved plant sprigs serving as the guard. The blade itself was Gothel's tower with Rapunzel's hair wrapping around the length. The teeth of the blade was the symbol of Rapunzel's kingdom, the golden sun crest. Finally, the keychain itself was a braided lock of Rapunzel's hair tied around a small frying pan. The Keyblade held the name "Ever After". Sora inspected the blade a little while Raven walked closer to him.

"Wonder what it can do." Raven wondered out loud.

"Guess we'll find out when we have a chance. It is a beautiful blade though." Sora replied, glancing further at the teeth and hilt.

"Bit too colorful for my taste. But it definitely suits you." Raven responded while kissing him on the cheek, making the boy smile as he pointed the keyblade toward the cockpit window, the tip sparkling brightly as a portal opened in front of the ship. Donald and Goofy maneuvered the ship into the portal as they were launched toward their next destination. Everyone settled into their seats as they flew through the portal space when suddenly a notification sound chimed, and Tron appeared on the ship's HUD.

"Sora, are you there? I have some news for you." Tron spoke through the ship's speakers, making everyone walk closer to the display.

"Tron!" Sora, Donald, and Goofy exclaimed at once, making the program laugh in response. Kairi poked her head behind Cyborg with confusion written over her face.

"Why is there a blue man trapped in the computer?" Kairi asked cautiously, making the big Titan laugh a little.

"He's not a man, Kairi. Tron's a program. He runs the main computer back in Radiant Garden and he's connected to Sora's Gummiphone." Cyborg explained.

"So, he lives inside the computer?" Kairi asked.

"Yeah, think of it like his home world. And he's in charge." Beast Boy popped in, making the redhead laugh a little.

"Only Sora would make friends with a computer program." Kairi giggled out.

"That's what makes him Sora." Raven commented as they listened in on the conversation.

"What's going on, Tron?" Sora asked.

"Ienzo and the others received news from Riku and Mickey. They and the rest of the group are returning to Master Yen Sid's tower." Tron replied, making everyone excited about any updates.

"Did they find anything?!" Goofy excitedly asked, but the mood instantly changed when the program shook his head in response.

"Sadly, they couldn't find a strong enough trail to pick up on. For now, they'll await your return at the Tower." Tron revealed, making the boy slump down in his chair, while everyone placed a comforting hand on his shoulders.

"Were there any other updates?" Donald asked and Tron nodded in response.

"Yes, the apprentices and I have run into an issue as well for the replica program. We are not able to proceed since the apprentice who worked on the program, Even, has disappeared. Until he can be found, we must put our progress on hold for now." Tron informed the group, causing everyone to realize that most of the progress they've made in finding the missing Guardians has come to a halt.

"Oh dude…" Beast Boy replied, his ears drooping.

"Is there anything we can do, Tron?" Kairi asked.

"Anything at all?" Cyborg offered up.

"Right now, the best thing you all can do is continue your mission. Focus on stopping Xehanort from threatening the other worlds." Tron replied. The group solemnly nodded at the news as they got back to their seats. "Sora." Tron spoke up, making the boy look toward the HUD. "I'm still getting used to the things I've learned from you, Donald and Goofy. But I do remember one thing you all taught me. You Users are capable of achieving the impossible no matter how dire it seems. I believe that you'll find them, no matter what." Tron informed them, raising the group's morales a little.

"Thanks Tron. We won't let you down." Sora announced in determination with a wide smirk on his face.

"I know you won't. Good luck to you all." Tron replied as he signed off, leaving the team with a sense of relief.

"Wow, never thought I'd hear a computer program say he believes in something." Cyborg replied in shock.

"Seriously, what else can you guys do?" Beast Boy asked.

"The impossible, apparently." Raven remarked. Eventually, the ship's HUD started beeping, indicating that their destination was getting closer.

"All right, everyone. Almost there." Goofy announced as everyone strapped into their seats. Soon, the ship started to shake and glow with a blue aura, making the cockpit rattle slightly.

"Looks like this world's special too! Hold on tight!" Kairi exclaimed.

"I can't wait!" Beast Boy cheered as the light covered the entire ship.

(Unknown World)

Sora slowly let out a pained groan from the harsh landing he and the others just went through as he slowly opened his eyes to get a sense of where they were. As his eyes came to focus, he saw that the sky was black with stars shimmering above and apartment buildings all around him. He then looked around to see a very large building in the middle of the city with a large blue M on the front of it, but instead of being a simple M, it had a blue eye in the center of it and was surrounded by a black circle. The boy let out another groan as he sat up to see that they landed in front of the entrance to the building, with trees and bushes adorning the front and a slogan over the front doors saying, "We scare because we care".

"Wow, wonder what's special about this world." Sora thought to himself as he ran a hand through his hair in thought but quickly noticed that it felt like a different texture than its usual fluffy spikiness, but smoother.

"Weird…wonder what else is different." Sora spoke out loud when he heard multiple groans around him, indicating the others were waking up from the landing, so he quickly stood up and looked around to see them.

"Is everyone ok?" Sora asked as he walked closer to them, though he started to notice that they all looked different from their silhouettes.

"Ugh, I think so. Either this world is different or that landing really hurt, because I feel funny." Cyborg replied, rubbing his head in pain as everyone started to gather under the nearby streetlamp.

"Yeah, I feel taller for some reason." Beast Boy spoke up.

"I…feel like I'm missing an eye." Kairi replied.

"Same here." Donald exclaimed.

"Huh, I don't feel different." Goofy replied with a shrug.

"I feel a little different." Sora announced feeling his hair again.

"I feel fine." Raven spoke up in her usual tone as they all finally stepped into the light.

"I wonder what could be special about-AH!" Beast Boy screamed in shock at everyone's new forms as Sora took in everyone's look.

Donald was a featherless cyclops with light blue skin and one single blue eye in the center of his face and two small protrusions sprouting from the top of his face and horns on the side, his duck bill now has four fangs, his hands and feet had bear gray claws instead of duck feet, instead of his tail, he now had a small spike and he had two small bat-like wings sprouting from his back. Despite the changes, his clothes remained the same besides his sleeves being gone.

Goofy's skin was aqua-green with enlarged forearms and calves with irregular black shapes. He had gray claws on his fingers and toes. His eyes were raised off his head and had new eye colors, one eye was blue and the other was red. His nose was now pointed like a spike, along with his teeth and his ears are gone. The only clothes he had were his black vest and his famous hat.

Cyborg's usual blue color was still there but it seemed paler than before and his circuity was changed from simple wires to being literal bolts of electricity in his body. His torso also had a hole over his heart, revealing a blue electricity core in the center. Both of his eyes were now red, and he had spikes adorning his shoulders and his forearms and calves were wrapped in cable wires.

Beast Boy was the biggest change since he was now a large werewolf with green fur and a large bushy tail, he was standing on his hind legs, sharpened fangs, his eyes were white out with no pupils and his hands and feet had sharp claws on them. Though he still wore his purple outfit over his body.

Kairi also had one large eye like Donald, but hers was green instead of blue and her skin was red like her hair. But her hair was now made up of small squid tentacles which parted around her light pink face. Her hands and feet were like fins and flippers and she had a pink tail trailing behind her. Though she still had on her jacket and skirt to match.

Raven was the least changed of the group, still retaining her normal figure, but her eyes were now four and glowing red, she had black horns sticking out from her head, and everyone could see black energy emanating from her closed cloak.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!" Everyone screamed in unison as they all came to the realization that they all saw different monsters standing across from each other. Sora quickly summoned his Keyblade and pointed it at the monsters and they all did the same until they took a closer look and noticed familiar clothes, like Raven's cloak, Beast Boy's uniform and so on.

"Wait, everyone calm down!" Sora yelled out as everyone stopped screaming while he de-summoned his Keyblade. Everyone did the same but still remained cautious. "It's just us. I think this world's normal look is well…" He guessed, while everyone took in their new looks.

"Monsters." Raven finished, looking to see that her hands are now entirely black energy and have sharpened claws.

"Definitely freaky monsters. You guys almost gave me a heart attack." Beast Boy exclaimed while holding a paw over his large chest.

"Looks who talking, Mr. Werewolf." Cyborg retorted, as the changeling checked out his new tail, but glared back in response.

"Says Frankenstein's Monster." The changeling shot back, making everyone giggle as they got used to their new look.

"I think it could be kinda fun." Goofy said with a happy face.

"It'll take some getting used to." Donald waving a hand over his now lone eye. Kairi did the same while admiring her new tail.

"Yeah, I'm with Goofy. I think it could be really fun. Especially Sora. He looks so adorable." Kairi giggled, confusing the boy while everyone else laughed.

"I do?" Sora asked, confused, looking at his hands and feeling his face, worried about how he looked in this world.

"Don't worry. You still look scary. Take a look." Raven replied, creating a reflective field of energy in front of her for Sora to see his new look. His skin was now pale blue fur and his ears stuck out longer and pointer than before. His fingers ended in black claws, his legs are canine-like similar to Beast Boy's, and his feet ended with three claws. He also had a small canine tail, and his hair was now red and leaf-like in design and one of them was covering one of his eyes. The only clothes Sora had was his jacket, gloves, and his necklace.

"Huh, it is scary. But very unique." Sora said, intrigued by his look while Raven dispersed the field.

"So, um, any ideas where we are if we blend in like this?" Kairi asked, making everyone look toward the large building.

"I have an idea, but I'd rather not say in case anyone's listening." Beast Boy walked next to her, making her look up at him. "Man, it's weird being this tall." The changeling commented.

"We scare because we care. Yeah, that sounds familiar." Cyborg replied.

"Let's look inside. And remember the-"Donald remarked but was silenced by everyone's combined yell.

"We know!" They all yelled, making the duck jump but look at them with a straight face and a nod. The group walked closer to the building and opened the front door, revealing a large oval room with large shutter doors except for one leading further into the building, a single desk with the building's logo behind it and two other monsters standing in front of it. One of the monsters was a short green creature with thin arms and legs with small claws on each appendage, one giant turquoise eye and small miniature horns on his head.

The other monster was much bigger than the small one, being a large furry blue monster with lilac spots dotted all over his body, blue eyes, a small tail with spikes running up from it all along his back, and horns on his head. Suddenly, the group heard a little girl giggling and they looked closer to see the blue monster tossing the girl over and over while she had a huge smile on her face. The girl had black hair tied in short pigtails and large brown eyes. She wore a pink shirt with purple leggings and white socks.

"Yup, monsters are definitely the norm around here." Raven replied as she remembered where these monsters, the girl, and this world were truly from and how crazy this would seem to anyone else.

"I still can't believe we're seeing them in real life!" Beast Boy freaked out, bouncing up and down in excitement but Cyborg reached out to stop him.

"Yo, we gotta chill man." The Titan called out while the changeling took a breath.

"C'mon, let's go say hi." Kairi exclaimed, walking ahead of the group toward the monsters.

"Aways a thrill ride with you two, huh?" Goofy asked Sora as he and Donald followed her.

"Never a boring one." Donald shouted out.

"Yup, otherwise it's just a normal ride." Sora thought out loud with hands on his hips while Raven walked closer to him.

"Certainly, a memorable ride." Raven remarked, making the two teens smile. Sora held out his hand to her and she reached out and took it. "Your hand is really soft this way." Raven said with a smile and blush on her face.

"And yours…feels very alive. I can feel your energy through it." Sora commented, making him smile and blush as well. The two continued to hold hands as they and the group walked closer to the monsters and little girl. As the group walked closer, the little girl noticed them and pointed at them with a big smile, making a cute little "boo" noise. In response, the large monster turned to look toward them, letting out a noise of confusion.

"I wonder who those guys are." The big one responded while clutching the girl close in a protective stance when the small green one ran up to him with a worried expression.

"What?! Careful, Sulley. If they see the K-I-D…" The one-eyed monster proclaimed in a whispered, but cautious tone while the big one turned to face him.

"It's fine, Mike. We got nothing to hide." The blue monster replied, while the little girl kept her eyes on the new group getting closer.

"Oh, okay, guess we'll go tell them about her and the door I fixed-Of course we have something to hide! And you're the CEO remember?! You set the example." The one-eyed monster exclaimed but was met with only a roll of his eyes and a shrug as the blue monster set the girl down on the floor. Flustered, the green monster ran toward the group to keep them away, with arms flailing and eye fully widened.

"Guys! Guys, it's not what it looks like. Okay, listen. That kid over there just popped out of nowhere! We gotta call the CDA! It's a…uh…Oh yeah, a Code 835!" The monster came up on the spot while most of the group could only share a glance of excitement.

"I can't believe he's actually speaking to us." Beast Boy whispered to Cyborg.

"Believe it, dude." Cyborg responded with an excited smile.

"Is everything ok here? We were worried about that little girl." Kairi spoke up while pointing toward the girl, who giggled and waved at them in response.

"She doesn't seem hurt or scared even." Raven remarked, impressed by either the girl's bravery or her nonchalance.

"What? No no no! We're done with scare power. Nobody's gettin' scared." The green monster exclaimed while the girl ran to hold the blue monster's hand.

"Mike, take it easy." The blue monster responded, making the one-eyed creature take a sigh of relief.

"She sure does seem happy." Goofy remarked while Donald, Beast Boy, and Cyborg nodded in response while the blue monster patted the girl on the head. Sora smiled and walked closer to the monsters and kneeled down to be at eye-level with the girl.

"Hi, my name is Sora. This is Kairi, Raven, Donald, Goofy, Cyborg and Beast Boy." Sora introduced everyone as they waved hello to the little girl. In response, the kid ran up to him with a little smile on her face.

"Boo!" The girl exclaimed, happily, making the boy smile back.

"I'm guessing that's your name, huh? Nice to meet you, Boo." Sora replied, making the girl smile and giggle even more.

"She sure is adorable." Donald replied while the others nodded in agreement.

"It's gonna get annoying." Raven remarked, crossing her transparent arms.

"Uh, Rae?" Kairi asked and the empath looked toward the redhead, who pointed toward her feet with a huge smirk on her face. Confused, Raven looked down, only to be startled by Boo standing right in front of her while clutching onto her cloak.

"Boo!" Boo yelled out with a cute giggle while she clutched tighter onto Raven's cloak, confusing the girl even more.

"What the? Where? How did?" Raven asked, looking back and forth at where the girl was standing before and where she is now, completely perplexed by the girl's speed.

"She's fast. I'll give her that." Sora replied as he walked closer to her while Raven managed to free her cloak and took cover behind the boy while Boo chased her.

"What is it with little kids being interested in me?" Raven asked while she circled around Sora to avoid Boo.

"Not the first time?" Donald asked.

"It's a long story." The empath summed it up as everyone nodded while the girl made a dash for Beast Boy's tail. Upon reaching it, the changeling moved his tail away, making the girl fall softly to the floor but she quickly got back up and ran after it.

"Hold on! You guys really aren't afraid of humans?" the green monster asked in complete shock.

"Mike Wazowski." The girl shouted as everyone turned to see her pointing at Donald, who pointed at himself in confusion.

"Come on, Boo! I've told you; I'm Mike Wazowski." The monster, now known as Mike, pointed out.

"Mike Wazowski!" Boo shouted, this time pointing at Kairi, shocking the girl as everyone laughed or giggled, even the blue monster who walked closer to Boo.

"Well, you can see the resemblance. That googly bear eye." The monster joked.

"Um, Boo, I'm really not-"Kairi explained but was silenced by Boo bear hugging her leg.

"Mike Wazowski!" The girl yelled while looking up at Kairi's face, making the redhead smile and blush a little.

"Little help?" Kairi responded to one of the Titans. Cyborg smiled and walked over to gently pull the girl off and set her back on the ground.

"Well, since we're doing introductions, I'm Sulley and you've already met Mikey." The blue monster now known as Sully introduced himself while Boo started chasing Goofy around, making the Captain chuckle and laugh along with everyone else. Suddenly, the girl froze as her face turned into one of fear and she ran behind Sully.

"What's the matter, Boo?" Sulley asked in confusion as she peaked out from behind his leg, letting out scared whimpers as she pointed behind the group. Everyone followed her gaze to see small and blue creatures spawning from the ground. The creatures were sleek and humanoid like, with arms and legs ending in sharp points and no discernible digits. They had triangular heads with two long, jagged, lightning bolt-shaped antennae, red eyes and they were twitching back and forth in a jerky and erratic motion.

"Heartless?!" Kairi asked as she and the others summoned their Keyblades. Sora took a closer look at the creatures, feeling a sense of familiarity flow from his body, though he couldn't recall ever seeing or fighting these creatures before. He couldn't explain it, but it felt like his heart was beating faster at the mere sight of these creatures and that never happened with the normal versions of Heartless.

"I've never seen these types before!" Donald exclaimed.

"But I'm getting a feeling like I've heard or seen these things before…" Goofy muttered out loud. Suddenly, the floor shook slightly as everyone looked to see a large toad-like creature joining the other small creatures. The main body was blue with a pink stomach and a large purple shell covered with black spikes. It had a pair of black stalk-eyes with red horizontal silt eyes, as well as a wide mouth with a purple tongue. On the sides of its face are a pair of noodle shaped whiskers ending in a pink loop with three spikes at the tips and four legs holding the whole body up. And on its snout was a black emblem in the shape of a heart, but one locked with spikes and an x across it.

"Does that look familiar at all?!" Cyborg asked, readying his cannon.

"Definitely not. It's a different symbol there." Goofy exclaimed. Sora tried to pay attention, but the sound of his heart beating drowned out the rest of the noise and suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his head, making him close his eyes and clutch his hair to halt it, but failing. Raven noticed Sora's pain and got closer to him as the creatures did the same, while Sulley and Mike stood in front of Boo.

"Sora, what's wrong?" She asked, but the boy didn't answer as he suddenly lifted his head up, revealing his eyes were now a lighter shade of blue and he flipped his Keyblade around to hold it in a reverse grip.

"Unversed!" Sora spoke but his voice sounded different like it was overlayed with another person's. The boy then stood in a different fighting style, spinning his Keyblade behind him.

"What?" Raven began to ask but was silenced by Sora suddenly taking off at top speed and leaving behind a powerful gust of wind in his wake. "Woah!" The empath exclaimed in shock. The others heard the sudden footsteps, and they turned to see Sora running faster than he's ever run before, like he was running with the wind, as he charged for the creatures.

"Sora?!" Kairi yelled out. She knows Sora's fast; she's witnessed enough of his and Riku's races to know, but she's never seen Sora move that quickly.

"Woah, dude what's wrong with him?!" Beast Boy asked as they all watch Sora zip back and forth through the creatures like a blur, taking most of them out in a single hit.

"I dunno, but we should still help him." Goofy replied.

"He's right, c'mon." Raven responded, making everyone charge toward the creatures.

"Sulley, you and Mike get Boo somewhere safe." Kairi yelled as she charged as well. Sulley quickly scooped Boo up as he and Mike ran toward the desk, setting the child on the chair behind the main desk.

"Stay here. Kitty will be back." Sulley reassured her. Boo nodded and ducked further into the chair, making the monster smile back at her.

"This is bad, this is really bad, Sulley! Those things just look like bad news all around." Mike uttered out.

"I know. Which is why we have to do what we can to keep Boo safe. We gotta help!" Sulley pointed out. The two monsters looked toward the creatures and nodded in agreement as they charged toward them as well. However, before they could even attack one, Sora zipped by and destroyed one of the creatures in front of them and zipped away just as quick. Mike and Sulley could only watch in awe before shrugging and going after another creature.

The rest of the group tried to defeat the new creatures, but Sora was beating them to the punch with his newfound speed, constantly leaving behind wind and light particles wherever he went. Donald and Goofy were about to attack three of the creatures surrounding them when the boy dashed by them and struck down all three in three consecutive strikes. He then took off after the other creatures, leaving the mage and knight behind as they watched their friend in shock.

Cyborg and Beast Boy were standing back-to-back as the mechanical Titan fired at the creatures, but they managed to duck or avoid his shots by diving into the ground, while Beast Boy tried to swipe and snap at them with his new claws and teeth, but they proved to be just as elusive and were quick to avoid him. Suddenly, Sora's keyblade came flying in and took down all the creatures in a Strike Raid maneuver.

"Yo!" Cyborg called out.

"Dude, we totally had that!" The changeling exclaimed in retort.

Kairi and Raven were backing each other up in fighting five of the creatures with their powerful magic, but the creatures were proving to be tougher than they look, being able to take their strongest spells and keep going.

"What's with these things? They're like the Heartless but different!" Kairi exclaimed, swatting one away, but it quickly got back up and lunged for her. Raven reached out with her powers and grabbed the lunging creature, hurling it back at the others.

"I don't know. But we gotta protect the kid." The empath replied as they continued to fight the blue creatures. Suddenly, Sora zoomed by and easily defeated the five creatures with a powerful Tornado move, swirling them up into the air and hurling them across the room, destroying them. Sora then took off after the last creature, while Raven and Kairi watched with wide eyes.

"Sora…" Raven whispered out, completely taken aback by the boy's strength and speed.

"He has never moved that fast before. Not that I can remember." Kairi pointed out. The last remaining creature, the toad one, managed to charge and swipe away the others who were attacking it. It then inflated itself and started bouncing around the air over and over until Sora slid under it and uppercut it, making it fall on its shell. Still floating in the air, Sora then launched several wind shockwaves at the toad, causing it to spin in a circle over and over until the boy dove down toward the creature in a spinning vortex. With a powerful slam, Sora destroyed the toad in a powerful whirlwind strike. The wind soon calmed to a soothing breeze as everyone looked to see Sora standing in the middle of the calming wind still in his new fighting stance as he looked around for more of the creatures.

Raven slowly walked over to the boy and placed a hand on his shoulder, worry clear on her face for him.

"Sora?" She asked slowly, but once she placed her hand on him, she let out a gasp, since now standing in Sora's place was another boy. His hair was golden blond and spiky on the front while the back was smoother and flakier, like swept by the wind and his eyes were wide and bright blue. He wore a black and white pleated jacket with a red collar and a grey vest underneath. He also had a chunk of dull green and grey blue armor on his midsection and another piece of armor on his left shoulder. He also wore grey, black, and white pants, grey armored boots, and a black and white checkerboard designed wristband on his left wrist. Raven's eyes widened at the sight of the new boy as he relaxed from his fighting stance. "Who…you're…" she asked, completely bewildered while the boy smiled and nodded to her. Suddenly, the image of the boy vanished, leaving only Sora as he dropped his Keyblade and fell to the ground with an audible groan, though Raven was there to catch him. "Woah, woah easy. I got you." She replied as she slowly eased him to the ground while the group crowded around him.

"Ugh…what happened? I…feel like I just ran several miles…" Sora muttered out with a tired expression.

"You kinda did." Goofy replied, while Sora looked at him confused.

"Sora, you were moving really fast. You took out those creatures easily." Kairi replied in amazement.

"Yeah man, you were moving as fast as Mas and Menos." Cyborg spoke up.

"Or Kid Flash even." Beast Boy muttered out.

"We've never seen you move that fast before. It was amazing." Donald replied in complete shock at the boy's speed.

"I-I was? I don't even remember that." Sora spoke, still tired from the experience.

"That's because I think someone was controlling you, Sora. Two voices were coming out when you talked." Raven replied, making everyone turn to look at her.

"Controlling him? How?" Kairi asked, concerned.

"It might be because of that other heart you have. Whoever it is, they've must've reacted and took control when it saw those things. They wanted to protect you." Raven replied, making Sora smile a little.

"Oh, yeah second question: What even were those things?! They certainly weren't Heartless or Nobodies or whatever else they might be." Cyborg asked.

"Funny, I was just about to ask you guys that." Mike replied, walking up to them while Sully went to check on Boo.

"Sora, I think I heard you call them something before you attacked. Started with a U." Kairi spoke up.

"U-Unversed?" Sora asked.

"Yeah, that's it." The redhead responded with a nod, when suddenly Goofy let out a gasp of shock.

"Oh, now I remember. I knew I heard about them things from somewhere." The knight exclaimed, while everyone turned to look at him.

"Really? How?" Raven asked.

"Well, a while back, the King fought a bunch of them with Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. Me and Donald never met them, but his Majesty told us all about the Unversed when he returned." Goofy revealed.

"Wonder why they've come back after all this time." Donald muttered out.

"What matters is that they're back. And why here and now?" Kairi asked.

"Hhm, Goofy, do you remember what the King told us the emotion the Unversed we're connected to?" The mage brought up, making Goofy scratch his head in thought.

"I think it had something to do with negative emotions." Goofy responded, making everyone look up at that.

"Negative? Like sadness, being mean, or-"Beast Boy asked.

"Fear, that's it. Remember the sign? 'We scare because we care.'" Kairi pointed out, making everyone nod acknowledgement.

"Of course, what better place to find negative emotion than a place literally powered by screams?" Cyborg asked.

"This place is a literal gold mine for them!" Beast Boy exclaimed.

"Hey, I told you guys that we're through using screams! We don't even have an idea about those things or whatever you guys are talking about." Mike yelled out, catching everyone's attention.

"What Mike is trying to say, is that we don't use the screams of children to power the city anymore. And while we appreciate your help, we're still not sure who guys are or who you're with." Sully spoke up while he carried Boo in his arms. The group shared a look as they all tried to think of a good cover story until something came to Sora's mind.

"Think of us as professionals in dealing with the weird or unnatural." The boy spoke up, making the group share the look at the iron of his words being spoken to monsters. "You probably haven't heard of us since we come from really far away." Sora continued, making Mike and Sully look at each other in confusion.

"How far away are we talking?" Mike asked, looking for more info.

"Real far." Raven simply replied. The monsters shared another glance while Mike walked closer to them.

"Alright, alright, let's just say we buy all that. How dangerous are these creeps?" The one-eyed monster asked.

"From what we just witnessed, bad news all around." Kairi mentioned.

"They definitely gave Boo a scare." Sully replied while the girl nodded in agreement. Mike turned to Sulley with a saddened but knowing look in his one eye.

"Look, Sulley, I know you've missed her, but it's time to postpone our playdate and get her back." Mike replied and everyone could see that the girl was shaken up by the Unversed's appearance.

"You're right, Mikey. Let's get our girl home." The blue monster responded, while Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Kairi shared a confused look.

"Something we can help with?" Sora offered, making the one-eyed monster look at him.

"It's uh…kind of a long story…see, Boo's from another world and in order to keep her safe, we gotta send her back to her home." Mike revealed while he and Boo shared a glance, causing them both to smile. The team share a knowing look before they speak up.

"Alright, we'll help." Beast Boy replied, making the monsters and girl look at them.

"Wait, what?!" Mike exclaimed.

"For all we know, those Unversed might come back." Donald replied.

"So, we're coming along to make sure Boo gets home safely." Kairi said in a stern but comforting tone, leaving no other option on the table, while Mike smiled widely.

"Great, we could use some professionals here with these creeps around." Mike exclaimed, running up to shake Sora's hand and making him laugh as a result while Sulley set Boo on the ground.

"Yeah, thanks, guys." Sulley spoke up. Sora nodded when suddenly he felt something heavy on his leg, making him look down to see Boo clutching onto his foot with a vice-like grip and a huge smile on her face along with giggles emanating from her. The laughter made everyone smile until Sulley snuck behind her and yanked the girl away, making her laugh louder as the blue monster tossed her in the air over and over.

"Isn't that adorable?" Donald asked.

"It sure is." Goofy responded.

"It's annoying, but manageable." Raven replied.

"C'mon, you like her." Sora leaned toward her to say, making the empath smile a little.

"This way guys. The door that leads back to her home is on the Laugh Floor. Just down this hallway." Mike gestured them toward the lit-up hallway that led further into the building. The group nodded as they followed the monsters down the hall and toward the main floor, where they were told lies the door to Boo's home. As they ran into a large white hallway, they came upon several orange canisters with red lines glowing from them.

"Huh, Cy, look! The scare canisters…" Beast Boy pointed out as he crept toward one in awe and excitement.

"BB, leave it alone. We shouldn't touch it." Cyborg warned, but the changeling inched closer to it in complete curiosity and interest sparkling in his eyes.

"C'mon, I just want to touch it. Where's your sense of advent- "Beast Boy replied, but as soon as his claw touched the canister, it suddenly hissed and let out a loud, laughing noise, similar to children's laughter, while it shook wildly. Everyone turned in readiness due to the new noise but stopped when Mike yelled in worry.

"No! No, no, no, no, not the laugh canisters!" Mike exclaimed as he sprinted past the group and toward the storage device, quickly sealing it shut and ending the laughter and rattling. Mike took a breath of relief before turning to look at Beast Boy.

"I know you're new here and all, but I must implore you, do…not…touch…the CANISTERS!" Mike exclaimed, before marching away, while Beast Boy cowered away from him.

"Hehe…sorry." The changeling muttered out while the mechanical Titan sauntered away with a smirk.

"Gotta send her home right now, or so help me…So help me! So help me!" Mike sung out loud in order to calm himself down while Boo danced around in rhythm. In response, Sora ran up to Sully and nudged him a little to get his attention.

"Hey Sully, do you mind telling us a little history about this place? Since we're new here, it could help us understand things better." Sora asked.

"Sure thing, guess it's probably best to start at the beginning. Ya see, our home Monstropolis is powered by a certain energy that was only found from human children. Back then, we use to get our power from the screams of children, hence our tagline that you probably saw outside." Sulley pointed out as Kairi walked next to him.

"I was going to ask about that, did you guys really scare kids to get power?" Kairi asked in a curious tone. The response she got was a nod from the blue monster.

"Back then, we only knew about receiving power from the children's scream. But we never hurt any of them, if that's what you're worried about." Sulley pointed out.

"Yeah, we just gave them nightmares and traumatized them for who knows how lo-"Mike spoke up until he saw Sulley staring at him. "Hehe-uhm. Anyway, that's when the little tike arrived, and we made a huge discovery." The green monster continued as he took a left turn while the group followed behind him.

"Their laughter turned out to be ten times more powerful. So now, we collect their laughter instead of screams and we never would've figured it out without Boo." Sulley explained while Boo jumped up and down in front of him, making him smile even more as the child ran to keep up with Mike.

"Guess we got that in common. Our ship is powered by smiles and laughter too." Donald revealed.

"Oh, good thing I came along then, huh? I got plenty of jokes to keep us smiling." Beast Boy spoke up with a big, toothy grin.

"Or drive us and the ship into boredom." Raven spoke up, making the changeling glare at her.

"Uh…guys?!" Mike called out, making everyone run to see that the main Laugh Room was crawling with Unversed creatures. The Floor was a large, spacious door containing the office department with all the records held within the building on one side and on the other side was the door stations containing the passageways to the human world. All the doors were designed like the ones that belonged to children and had red lights shining on top of them. The group looked up to see the doors being carried by a large rail system on the ceiling that led further into the building. Scattered around the room were several other orange containers filled with the energy from children's laughter. The group looked to see the Flood creatures stalking around the room while small purple, snake-like creatures called Flowersnakes, wrapped themselves around the door control panels.

"What are they even doing in here?" Cyborg asked, confused.

"Wait, look!" Kairi pointed toward one of the doors and everyone followed her gaze to see some of the blue creatures going through the working doors and coming back out, even more riled up than before.

"They're going to scare the children! C'mon we gotta hurry!" Goofy exclaimed as everyone summoned their weapons and charged while Sora, Sulley, Mike, and Boo lingered behind.

"This is terrible!" Sulley exclaimed.

"Sulley, we gotta focus. Where is Boo's door?" The boy asked, making the monsters look around the floor, but saw no sign of it.

"I thought we left it here on the floor. Did you send it back?" Sulley asked his green friend.

"What?! No, of course not! Wait, look it's up there!" Mike yelled out, pointing toward the ceiling as everyone looked to see the white door with purple flowers being sent further into the building and out of sight. "Oh, now what do we do?!" Mike blurted out in worry.

"Leave the Unversed to us! See if you can get Boo's door back and make sure-wait, where's Boo?" Sora exclaimed and the two monsters looked at their feet but saw no sign of the child. The three looked around until they found Boo running along the side of the floor to get away from the creatures.

"I'll get her! Mikey, see if you can get the door back and kid, do your thing!" The blue monster ordered and the two nodded in agreement as they split up. The one-eyed monster ran towards one of the panels and slid his card on it, giving him full access as he typed away to get the door back while Sulley grabbed Boo and went to hide her underneath a nearby desk. Meanwhile, Sora joined the others who were already combating the Unversed as he summoned his Keyblade.

"Alright, let's clean house!" Sora yelled out as he held his Keyblade up, causing a burst of light to erupt from the blade. A huge flower suddenly blossomed from it as the tower of it grew in size. It then suddenly spawned several vines around it as the blade turned into a large staff and he started gliding across the ground and his jacket and skin turned light blue. Sora then suddenly charged forth with a ring of light around him, making the Unversed fly away while the team smiled at Sora's entrance.

"Nice look." Raven replied, making the boy smile as they both fired two fireballs at two Unversed that were about to shoot poison at them. The two nodded and broke away as another blue creature struck at them. Cyborg and Beast Boy were backing each other up by dealing with the small blue creatures. Seeing that several of them were crawling towards them, Cyborg readied his missile launcher and took at them. But instead of missiles coming out when he pulled the trigger, several cables with spiked tips shot out and stabbed themselves into the creatures, making them fall to the ground and a powerful, electric charge traveled through the cables, shocking the Unversed and causing them to dissipate in an instant.

"Woah…" Beast Boy exclaimed in shock as the cables reeled back into the launcher.

"That was new…I like it!" Cyborg boasted out with huge excitement. Suddenly, a blue Unversed jumped up behind the distracted Beast Boy, ready to strike. Cyborg was about to shoot it when suddenly, several green spikes shot out of the changeling's back and stabbed into the Unversed, destroying it right there.

"Woah!" Cyborg yelled out in shock while the spikes retracted back into the changeling's back.

"What? Dude, what is it?" Beast Boy asked, completely oblivious to what had just happened.

"You just grew spikes out of your back!" Cyborg pointed out with widened eyes.

"I did?! Sweet! I wonder what else I can do!" Beast Boy exclaimed while his mechanical friend nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy destroyed the last of the Unversed before more spawned in, including more of the Turtletoads. Seeing the Unversed reinforcements, Sora smiled as he turned to the three.

"You guys wanna go for a spin?" he asked as he raised his staff in the air. Suddenly, the three Mad Tea Cup attraction appeared underneath Kairi, Donald, and Goofy. The mage and captain spun away while Kairi looked at it confused.

"Sora, how does this work?" Kairi asked, completely confused by the Cup's mechanics. The boy smiled as he floated to the side of it and grabbed the Cup.

"I'll show you. Just hold on tightly." He said with a grin. The girl did as he was told and griped the wheel inside and with a powerful effort, Sora spun the Cup and sent it spinning toward the Unversed.

"AAAAHH!" The girl screamed loudly to echo across the floor. Sora had to hold in his laughter as he floated after them while Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy backed him up. Sora launched several lasers at the Unversed that were launched in the air, while Raven grabbed them with her powers and launched them at the Turtletoads, stunning them. Cyborg turned his Keyblade into a giant fist and smashed one of toads, causing it to dissipate while Beast Boy slashed at the other Turtletoad, making it fall to the ground. Suddenly, the toad was lifted off the ground in one big lift, revealing Sulley being the one holding the Unversed in the air. Everyone watched in awe, as Sulley spun around a few times and threw the Turtletoad toward a nearby wall, causing a large crash to erupt and shake the room a little, while the Unversed fell to the floor and dissipated into nothing. Everyone's eyes were widened at the monster's show of strength, while Kairi, Donald, and Goofy got off the Mad Tea Cups. Since they've rode it before, Donald and Goofy got off easily, but Kairi was new to the rides and stumbled here and there before falling to the ground.

"So…much…spinning. I don't feel so good." The redhead replied in a slurring tone. Donald cast a quick cure spell on her and she replied with a simple thumbs up. The team regrouped while Sulley went to retrieve Boo from the desk.

"All clear." Donald spoke up.

"Mikey, any luck?" Sulley asked, now carrying the child in his arms. Mike ran past them now holding several keycards in his hand.

"Couldn't get her door back. But I have an idea on how to get to it!" The green monster yelled out as he swiped each card on the control panel, requesting several doors to each station. A mechanism rose up from the ground and brought each door from the railing and secured it with two stands connected to the floor on both sides. "Look familiar, Sul?" Mike asked with a grin. The blue monster rolled his eyes but nodded, knowing what his friend and flatmate had in mind.

"Hold on, Boo. We're going on an old ride." Sulley said to the girl, who nodded with big grin while the new CEO grabbed onto a door. The group watched Sulley grab on as they caught on to what Mike was proposing.

"Wait, we're actually going into the Vault?!" Beast Boy asked with a look of complete awe and shock on his face.

"Where all the doors to the human world are kept?" Cyborg asked as well.

"Yup. Just through the railing track up there." Mike pointed up at the ceiling. Cyborg and Beast Boy cheer and fist bumped at the idea of seeing another momentous sight. The two quickly grabbed onto a nearby door while Donald and Goofy grabbed onto another one. Sora, Kairi, and Raven grabbed onto another door and Mike pressed a button on everyone's control panel, sending the doors up to the ceiling. Sulley then pressed a button on his own panel and grabbed onto a door with Boo in his arms while Mike grabbed onto his friend's tail and climbed his way up.

"This looks like fun!" Kairi exclaimed, clutching tighter to the door.

"I hope so." Raven muttered out while she held on.

"I'm sure it'll be quite a sight. Everything else has been so far." Sora replied with his usual optimism, making the girls smile even more.

"Hold on, Boo. Don't want you to get hurt." Sulley replied while the girl giggled and held on tighter to his fur.

"Boo's door, here we come!" Mike called out as the doors started sliding across the rails.

"Yeah, baby let's go!" Cyborg called out as the doors disappeared into the building while the cheering of the Titans and Donald and Goofy could be heard through the echoes of the room. Unknown to the group right as they vanished, an invisible figure slinked out from the shadows after watching the team fight the Unversed and head toward the vault, all with a mischievous grin on his face.

"Oh, I just got a great idea." The figure spoke out loud before disappearing back into the building.

(Meanwhile, with Sora and the group)

Sora, Raven, and Kairi held on tightly to their door as it flew through the railing system while Cyborg, Beast Boy, Donald, Goofy, Sulley, Mike, and Boo followed behind them. They were traveling through a barely lit passage as the rails lead toward a small opening. The doors went through the opening, leading to everyone but the monsters' jaws to fall to the ground in shock and awe.

"Wow…" Sora gasped out as he looked around at the sight before them.

"This is…" Kairi muttered out while her jaw struggled to remained attached.

"…Amazing." Raven finished, taking in the sight before her.

"Dude, I never thought I'd see…" Beast Boy muttered out.

"Me too, man. Me too." Cyborg replied.

"This is quite a sight, huh Goofy?" Donald asked in awe.

"I'll say…" Goofy replied.

The sight before them was a large facility vault housing thousands upon thousands of doors, all controlled by several railing systems that moved them back and forth all across the building and about four levels stacked to the brim with entrances that lead to other parts of the corporation.

"Mike, Sulley! This is…I can't even put it into words!" Sora shouted out.

"Just wait until you see the entire facility, guys!" Sulley called out. Mike chuckled in response until he noticed something ahead on the railing.

"Hey, what's that up there?!" Mike pointed in front of everyone. The team followed his gaze to see lantern like Heartless with rings of fire around them hovering over the railings.

"Heartless!" Kairi exclaimed.

"Not here too!" Sulley yelled out with teeth gritted in anger.

"Keep Boo safe! We'll take care of these guys!" Sora yelled as he jumped onto the railing and slid across it in his Flowmotion state while summoning his Keyblade. Kairi summoned her blade while holding on to the door while Raven let go and hovered next to the railing. Beast Boy grew out wings and let go of the door as well as he started flying.

"You're just full of surprises, huh BB?" Cyborg asked in awe and the changeling nodded in agreement as he summoned his Keyblade. Sora and Kairi took down the first Heartless with Water blasts, putting their flames out and causing them to dissipate. The group continued down the railing when some gold-colored Heartless appeared further down the rails and created an electric current on the line. Kairi noticed the current and looked up to see Sora still sliding on the railing.

"Sora, get down! The railings electrocuted!" The redhead called out. The boy looked further down to see the electricity and quickly jumped back onto the door while Raven flew ahead and used her powers to grab the Heartless and smash them together, causing a small electric explosion while the current disappeared. Sora hopped back onto the railing and slid further down until five blue Heartless appeared with three water orbs surrounding each of them. Sora, Donald, Raven, and Cyborg each fired on four of the Heartless with light, dark, magic, and sonic energy, destroying them while Beast Boy circled around and destroyed the last one.

"Guys, let's get off on that platform down there on the right! There's a door we can use!" Sulley called out. Everyone nodded as they either flew down to the platform or jumped from the railings while the doors moved on to their places in the Vault. Once everyone regrouped, Mike ran over to a nearby door leaning against the wall and opened it up, only to find nothing on the other side but the wall. He looked up at the red light above the door, only to see that it was dimmed out.

"It's offline!" Mike yelled as he slammed the door shut.

"What does that mean?!" Donald asked, getting close to the green monster.

"It means we have to power it up! We need to make her laugh so we can get that door open!" Mike yelled.

"Alright, well does she like jokes or something?" Cyborg asked.

"Ooh, I got one! Let me see her!" Beast Boy exclaimed. Sulley set Boo down while the changeling crouched in front of her. "Why don't oysters donate to charity? Because they're so shellfish! Haha!" Beast Boy joked, expecting at least a smile from the girl. But the only response he got from the girl was an amused frown and a glare on her face, even making the changeling cower nervously.

"Something tells me she didn't like that." Raven mentioned over the changeling's shoulder while Sulley picked Boo back up.

"We gotta think of something else." Kairi spoke up when suddenly a variety of Heartless spawned in on the platform.

"Fellas, we got more bad guys!" Goofy called out, summoning his shield. The others did the same while Sulley moved Boo behind him on a stack of unused doors.

"Try to make her laugh!" Mike yelled out as they fought the Soldiers and Big Body Heartless, along with the elemental ones. Sulley racked his mind on how to make the girl laugh, seeing that she was terrified of the new creatures. He tried tickling her or throwing her in the air in the hopes that'll make her laugh, but she was too focused on the Heartless to laugh. Especially when she noticed a couple of the Soldiers jumping to attack Sulley from behind.

"Kitty!" Boo exclaimed loudly in fear while pointing behind him. Sulley turned to see the Heartless diving at him with feet at the ready and he braced himself and hid Boo behind him. Sora took down another Big Body until he heard Boo's scream and saw two of the Soldiers charging at Sulley.

"Goofy!" Sora called out. The knight looked toward the situation and nodded as the two clasped hands. With a powerful heave, Sora threw Goofy toward the Heartless aiming for Sulley at high speeds. The captain held his shield out in front of him while smoke shot out from behind him like a torpedo. With a powerful impact, Goofy crashed into the two Soldiers, destroying them while he tumbled to the ground in a big, but safe heap. Sulley and Boo looked over at Goofy, who chuckled and gave them a thumbs up in response, making Boo laugh a little. Raven noticed the girl giggling at Goofy's antics, realizing what tickled Boo's funny bone.

"Sora! You and others do more of those crazy attacks. It makes her laugh!" Raven called out, casting a Thunder spell on some of the Heartless, destroying them. Sora looked over to see the girl was giggling at Goofy's throw.

"Got it!" Sora replied, already having an idea in mind. He quickly removed the Ever After keychain from his Keyblade and clipped on the Favorite Deputy. "Then she's gonna love this!" He yelled out and with a powerful burst of light, the blade turned into the Hyper Hammer. The sight of it made Boo giggle even harder while everyone did their best to make her laugh. Kairi and Raven summoned several giant Balloons that chased after the Heartless while Donald and Cyborg launched fireworks and missiles at them. While that was going on, Beast Boy and Goofy spun around in a whirlwind of shield and claws mixed together, all while Sora was smashing up the area with his hammer. Mike did his best to help by distracting the Heartless and encouraging the others until Sulley grabbed him by the head.

"Mikey, wanna bring it home?" Sulley asked while Boo continued to laugh more and more at the entertaining action in front of her.

"Oh, do I have to?" Mike begged, but the look on his friend's face said it all. With a roll of his eye, Mike tugged his arms and legs in while Sulley readied himself.

"Guys, heads up!" Sulley called out. Everyone quickly moved out of the way of the remaining Heartless while Sulley rolled his friend like a bowling ball. With a loud crash, Mike rolled past the Heartless like pins as they all fell to the floor and dissipated away, leaving Mike on the floor with a loud groan.

"Perfect score, alright!" Cyborg yelled out in excitement while the changeling cheered on. Boo laughed loudly at the fighting antics, making everyone smile or laugh along with her. Suddenly, the light on the door lit up brightly and Sulley opened it, revealing a whole other world on the other side.

"Doors open! Let's go!" Sulley called out as he ran in first, with Boo and Mike following behind him. The group followed them through while Sora ran in last, shutting the door behind him.

"C'mon, let's hurray to the next door!" Sulley called out as they ran toward the next door and opened it up, leading back into the facility. The rest of the group followed suite, and Sora was about to run through as well until a familiar voice called out to him.

"Hi, Sora!" a female voice rang out, making the boy stop and look to see Yuffie, the great ninja, relaxing on a couch a few feet away from him, making him realize that they just entered Merlin's house. Sora looked around in shock and confusion as he looked down to see that he was still in his monster form and that Yuffie was the only one in the house, assuming the others were off taking care of other business.

"Yuffie? How'd you know it was me?" Sora asked.

"Your jacket silly. Plus, your other friends gave it away." Yuffie said nonchalantly.

"Oh…" Sora muttered.

"World business?" Yuffie asked and Sora could only nod in confirmation.

"World business." The boy replied. The ninja nodded and leaned her head back against the couch cushion.

"Carry on then. We'll talk more later." she muttered, waving him off.

"You know it. See you soon." Sora exclaimed as he gave her a thumbs up and ran through the door, shutting it behind him.

"I wonder which world he's in to look like that." The ninja asked herself as she kicked her feet to and fro and threw a small shuriken in the air in complete boredom.

Back in Monstropolis, Sora closed the door behind him, still processing how the whole world entering thing worked with the monsters, while the rest of the group spread out on the new platform and looked around for Boo's door.

"Look, up there! Boo's door!" Kairi exclaimed, pointing up at a larger railing system, where said door was traveling quickly down into the vault.

"I'll get after it!" Sora yelled out, jumping back onto the railing and sliding after the door.

"Sora, wait!" Donald called to the boy but landed on deaf ears. Raven rolled her eyes as she created a large, black platform and floated on.

"Everyone, climb on." Raven said. Everyone either hopped on or was placed on in Boo's case as she had the platform float after the door. Boo looked around the platform in astonishment before reaching out and clutching onto Raven's cloak for comfort. Raven looked down, feeling the sudden grip and was met with the girl looking up at her with a hopeful and joyful smile on her face, bringing a small smile to the empath.

Meanwhile, Sora was sliding all across the railing system at top speeds in his Flowmotion mode until he spotted Boo's door on another railing far across from him. Thinking and acting quickly, he made one big leap and reached out for the handle.

"Got it, got it, got it…" Sora muttered to himself but just before he could reach the handle, the door quickly moved out of his reach and leaving him out in the middle of the air. "…Don't got it." He muttered as he started falling further down into the facility and toward a railing just below the one he jumped toward. Just as he was about to hit it, he suddenly came to a quick stop, making him look around to see Raven's energy surrounding his body. He was then lifted up to the platform and set down gently next to the others.

"You okay?" Kairi asked.

"Yeah, almost had it though." Sora revealed until he felt a sudden quick pain on his forehead due to a flick from Raven's finger. "Ow!" He exclaimed as he held his head in pain.

"Next time, just stick with us. We were right behind you." Raven replied.

"Right sorry." Sora said with a small smile and Raven returned it with her own grin.

"Aw, great. We lost the door." Beast Boy informed the group as everyone went to see if they could spot the door, but with the thousand other doors all around the facility, Boo's entrance to her home blended in all too easily.

"Now what do we do?" Cyborg asked. Sulley looked around until his eyes landed on another nearby platform with a working door awaiting them.

"Raven, set us down there!" The blue monster pointed toward the platform. The empath nodded as she maneuvered the platform away from the railings and onto the empty level. Everyone disembarked from Raven's platform and ran toward the door, opening it up and running into the human world, where they briefly saw a large steel tower in the distance could be seen.

"Hey, isn't that the Eiffel-" Beast Boy pointed out but was pushed forward by his mechanical friend.

"No time!" Cyborg called out as he, Raven, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, and Sora ran toward the next door. Everyone tumbled out of it while Mike closed the door behind them, as the group took in the room they're in.

"Where are we now?" Kairi asked as she and the others stood back up and straightened out their clothes.

"The lower levels of the vault. We usually don't come down here unless for storage or something falls from up there." Mike informed the group, pointing upwards where everyone could see the doors moving back and forth high above them.

"Wow, that is amazing." Goofy muttered out.

"Boo's door should be right around here somewhere. C'mon!" Sulley replied, running through the corridors while Boo ran behind him. The group followed after him until Mike noticed one of the nearby doors lit up as well.

"At least we have a way back if anything goes wrong." The green monster muttered out as they ran through the lower levels. They eventually reached a dead end due to a large gated wall, but their hopes were lifted when they saw a familiar door leaning against the wall.

"There it is!" Sulley exclaimed, picking Boo up and running toward the door.

"But…how did it end up down here? Last I saw it, it was still up there with the others." Sora said, scratching his head and pointing up at all the doors high above them.

"Who cares? Let's get her inside, quick!" Beast Boy replied.

"Yeah!" Donald shouted as the group ran closer to the door while Sora and Raven lingered behind.

"I'm with Sora. This feels too much like a coincidence." Raven spoke up while the others shared a glance of concern.

"Trap or not. We have to get Boo home. Let's make sure she's safe first and then we can see what's going on." Kairi suggested. The couple look at each other in thought before finally nodding in agreement. Sulley opened the door and walked through with Boo in tow while Mike, Donald, Goofy, Cyborg, and Kairi walked through. Sora and Raven were about to walk in but they moved at a slow and cautious pace.

"Glad it's not just me who felt like this." Sora replied, holding Raven's hand.

"Yeah, it feels too much like a coincidence for the door to end up right-"Raven replied when something suddenly pushed the two Titans right through the door while it shut loudly behind them. The group turned around at the sudden noise and looked to see the two on the ground.

"Guys? What happened?" Cyborg asked, while Sora and Raven stood back up.

"Ugh, something pushed us through and locked us out." The boy replied.

"Where are we?" Raven asked, confused.

"Not Boo's room that's for certain. This looks like the basement of the factory." Mike said, looking around the empty bottom of the building.

"How'd we end up down here?" Beast Boy asked when suddenly a sinister laugh answered him in response. The laugh put everyone on high alert as they looked around for the source.

"Who's that?!" Kairi asked but again was answered only with a laugh. Donald heard the laugh near the door, and he cautiously stepped closer to it, thinking the source was the door itself. Before he could touch it though, a pair of eyes and teeth hanging emptily in the air opened up in front of the door and lunged at him.

"Surprise!" the invisible source yelled out with a grin.

"WAAAKKK!" Donald screamed as he fell to the floor and ran behind Goofy.

"Hehehehe, still got it." The face laughed to itself as it dropped its invisibility, revealing the source to be another monster. This one was a purple, lizard-like creature with green eyes. He had four arms, four legs, a long blue tail, and three pink protrusions on his head. The lizard slithered off the door and onto the floor as he stood in front of the group. "And who cares how you got here? All that matters is that it's the last turn that you losers are ever gonna take." The lizard replied.

"Randall?!" Sulley exclaimed in shock while he and Mike glared at the lizard.

"You guys know him?" Sora asked in confusion.

"Yeah, he's the creep we banished when he and our old boss tried collecting screams by force." Mike informed the group.

"And he used to be Boo's scarer." Sulley revealed while the little girl roared at the lizard in anger.

"How did you even get back here? The door we sent you through is sawdust!" Mike asked in anger while Randall rolled his eyes at the mere thought of his banishment.

"Yeah, yeah and I almost got turned into somebody's wallet as a result. Lucky for me, a really nice guy came along and fixed my way home. Now here I am. And as of today, I'm numero uno! Top of the leaderboard, baby." Randall proclaimed, with a grin on his face. The green monster laughed and rolled his lone eye in response at the mere mention of Randall's idea.

"Ha! You, a top laugh collector?" Mike asked, lightly punching Randall in the stomach. "Keep dreaming, Randall. My laugh totals are off the charts." He replied with his own smile to match.

"Did I say anything about collecting laughs? I'm going after the negative emotions. And my new friends have kindly invaded the factory to get 'em for me." Randall revealed with his four arms crossed while Mike and Sulley's eyes widened at the news of an invasion.

"What do you mean, negative emotions?" Kairi asked in a curious tone.

"Someone from the Organization must be helping him." Goofy whispered to the group.

"Yeah, especially if he's after those kind of emotions." Raven whispered back.

"Laughter just isn't sustainable enough for Monstropolis. Once the kiddies chorts their last chortle, you've gotta start all over. But negative energy? Especially sadness? Give 'em something that really breaks their little hearts, and they'll stay sad forever. Think of it, we'll never have to worry about energy again." Randall explained as he circled around the group as he walked toward a nearby set of staircases that led further into the factory.

"Think again, snake boy. We're not gonna let you hurt those kids!" Cyborg exclaimed as everyone summoned their weapons and pointed them at Randall.

"Okay, I'm a chameleon, if you're gonna insult me, do it properly." The purple monster retorted.

"Not you or even those Unversed creatures helping you out." Sora exclaimed. Randall smiled again in response as he stared the group down.

"Just try and stop me. You'll see soon enough. I am gonna be a legend around here. Now, consider your careers officially over, Sullivan." Randall threatened when suddenly…

BOOOM

A loud and powerful explosion shook the entire room and made dust fall around the group and the lights flickered on and off, scaring Boo as she hid behind Sulley again.

"Whoa! What was that?!" Goofy asked, covering his head with his shield.

"Nothing good!" Mike exclaimed, looking around in shock. Everyone looked around as more dust cascaded around them, until Sora noticed Randall missing from the room.

"Hey, where's Randall?!" Sora asked as everyone looked around for the purple lizard.

"Ah he can camouflage. It's his common trick." Sulley informed the group as they kept looking around.

"Wait, my eye's infrared. Let me look around." Cyborg said, looking around the room for any sign of Randall while Mike, Sulley, and Boo tilted their heads in confusion.

"He can see things that are camouflaged." Beast Boy simplified while the monsters and girl nodded their head in understanding. Cyborg eventually shook his head as he stopped looking.

"He's not in here." The mechanical Titan replied when suddenly the intercom crackled above them with Randall's voice echoing through it.

"We're in control of the factory now. And I made a few improvements…some real doozies I just know you're all gonna love. So much so, that it'll probably and definitely kill you." Randall openly threatened as the intercom cut off, the last thing the group heard was the lizard's cackling laughter.

"That weasel never quits! We gotta stop him!" Mike suggested.

"I know, but we got to get Boo to safety first. Then we can focus on Randall." Sulley replied, while Mike looked down in thought.

"Whatever we do, we better find a way out quick. Who knows what Randall and the Unversed are cooking up." Sora spoke up.

"With that last explosion. It's not gonna be anything light-hearted." Raven spoke up.

"And with him in control, he could throw anything at us." Cyborg spoke up.

"Then we've gotta hurry! C'mon gang." Goofy replied. Everyone nodded at the captain's response as Sulley picked Boo up and he and Mike lead the way toward the staircase while Sora, Raven, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Cyborg, and Beast Boy ran after them, hoping that they would all make it through Randall's traps safely.

(Meanwhile, at the CDA Headquarters)

It was all quiet at the Child Detection Agency in the middle of the night, besides the usual business that is conducted in the headquarters. Ever since the events that lead to Randall Bogg's banishment and the former CEO's arrest due to the conspiracy they cooked up, the agency has received fewer calls or reports come in from the corporation. While normally Roz, the current leader of the CDA, would be suspicious of the lack of calls, she found that she could trust Mike and Sulley in running and managing the company. And though she already knew that they kept bringing the child back from time to time, she found that could at least give them their moments after all they've been through. Roz was grumpy, of course, but she wasn't heartless and could tell that all three of them enjoyed spending time together.

But Roz still had a job to do and always made sure to keep track of where Boo went and what she brought with her made it back to her world. As she always told Mike and Sulley, she was always watching and would always ensure the protection of Monstropolis from any potential dangers.

Roz stood in front of her desk, wearing her casual maroon V-neck vest and black cat-eye glasses typing away on her computer and making sure all the information the CDA contained was up to date and filed away when suddenly someone knocked on her door several times.

"Yes." Roz grumbled out as her eyes moved from the screen. The door opened up, revealing another agent frantically walking in. "What is it, Agent 501?" Roz asked, adjusting her glasses.

"Number 1, you gotta turn on the news. Something's going on at Monster's Inc!" The agent exclaimed in worry. Roz narrowed her eyes as she pulled out her remote and turned on the news, revealing a news cast reporting on a large fire erupting from Monsters Incorporated while the reporters theorized of an inside job or something else taking place in the building. Roz gripped her remote tightly before shutting the tv off and sliding out of her room due to her slug-like form, while Agent 501 trailed behind her.

"Agent 501, take as many men you can and contain that fire. I want to know what's going on down there." Roz ordered.

"Yes, Number 1! Anything else?" 501 asked, aloud. Roz soon stopped in front of an elevator and pressed the down button.

"Let the prisoner's guards know I'm coming for a visit. He might know something about this." Roz replied. The agent saluted her and ran off, barking out to any nearby agents to join him. Soon, the elevator dinged, and Roz entered as the door closed behind her and took went down into the building's depths. She straightened out her clothes, thinking back to the last time she spoke to the former CEO. He wasn't very cooperative but merely tried to defend his actions as what was necessary for Monstropolis. Hopefully, with this new development, her former boss will finally speak some sense to her.

The elevator dinged again and opened up, allowing Roz to make her way down a hallway that lead to the interrogation room, where two agents were standing guard at the door.

"Agent 1, the prisoner is set and ready to be spoken to." One of the agents spoke up upon seeing her. Roz nodded while the other agent opened the door for her, allowing her to slither into the room, where said prisoner awaited her as he sat on one side of the table with his hands chained to it. The prisoner was a large, obese, gray crab/spider monster with a bald head, five eyes, and six crab like legs holding him up, but each were firmly secured as well to the table legs. He was wearing an orange vest while he kept his eyes directed at the table.

"What do you want this time, Roz?" The monster muttered out as Roz circled around him.

"Haven't you heard the news? Monsters Inc. is under attack. On fire as we speak." She replied, making the crab slowly turn to look at her with intrigue. "I was wondering if you knew anything about this fire, Mr. Waternoose." Roz replied, while the former CEO looked up at her with his own glare in retort as he clutched his hands into a fist, the two monsters staring each other down as a lone light illuminated the room.

(Meanwhile, back at Monsters Inc.)

Up on the roof of the corporation, a black cloaked figure stood atop overlooking the city and the now billowing cloud of smoke as he focused on the familiar signature he sensed not too long ago. The figure's face was hidden by a black mask made of glass, but underneath it, a smirk was as clear as day.

"Brother, I finally found you. We must reconnect." The figure spoke as he summoned a corridor of darkness and stepped in while the portal closed behind him.
