Episode 2 - Ancient Arrival, Part 2
-Shiba House-
Everyone looked at the burning debris of the Shiba House, still trying to take in the events that had just occurred.
The fire brigade had arrived to put out the fire while medics came to check on the cuts and injuries to Heath, Ross, Alex, Hannah, Stephanie, Mentor Ji as well as both the Samurai and Megaforce teams.
"It's good to see that you are alright Miss Goodall" one of the medics said to Emma "I don't know how the children would have reacted if something bad happened to you"
"I'll be by the hospital to see them soon" replied Emma
"You work at the hospital?" asked Jake
"I volunteer at the hospital, mostly looking after the sick children. As well as my photography on other days. The kids really like the photos I take" said Emma
Everyone got tended to by the medics and after the fire engines left the Samurai team and Mentor Ji once again looked at the debris of the Shiba House.
"You have insurance on this place right Mentor?" asked Mike
"Of course" replied Mentor Ji "It was easy to get considering how many cities have been under attack by monsters. But until this war against Aranna is over the reconstruction of the Shiba House will have to wait"
Heath walked up to Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie as they looked at the Samurai team observing the destruction.
"I can't believe this" said Ross "We were looking for answers to our visions and we got accompanied to Egypt by two teams of Power Rangers"
"We almost got killed today" said Hannah "Both Ranger teams lost their powers and one team's home got destroyed"
"And now some psychotic person is trying to take over another dimension that we never even heard of" said Stephanie
"A dimension that you are the last survivor of Heath" said Alex "I hope you have all the answers we've been searching for"
"I have the answers to your visions inside this briefcase" said Heath "I'll explain everything to all of you, but with us being out here in the open there might be a chance someone could overhear us. We need to find a place more private"
After he was treated by the medics Troy walked up to Heath.
"I know a place were we can all go" said Troy
-Gosei's Power Chamber-
The Megaforce team took everyone to meet Gosei.
"Everyone I'd like you all to meet our mentor Gosei" said Troy
All the others looked at Gosei in amazement.
"It is an honour to finally meet you Gosei" said Mentor Ji
"Troy I heard that you and the Samurai team have lost your powers. Is that correct?" Gosei asked Troy
"That is correct" Troy replied "Is there a chance you could retore any of our powers?"
"Unfortunately the spell that made you lose your powers is too strong for me to break, so I cannot restore yours or the Samurai teams powers" Gosei answered "I will keep on trying to restore your powers. The chances are very slim but it's not impossible"
Both the Samurai and Megaforce teams nodded in agreement.
"Can the Red Ranger you have met step forward please" Gosei said to which Heath stepped forward
"I'm Heath, the Red Ancient World Ranger" said Heath
"These forces you have battled are far stronger than anything my team or Mentor Ji's team has ever faced before and with the destruction of the Shiba house all of you need a place to stay. Luckily I was prepared for this situation" replied Gosei
Just then a door suddenly appeared in the corner to which everyone walked through and saw an entire room with a meeting table. There were also training facilities and many other rooms as well so this was basically a new base. Gosei then appeared on the wall of the new base.
"I can't believe this" said Noah in amazement "This whole base has been in here the entire time"
"Not really" Tensou replied as he rolled in "This base was just recently created by Gosei. This base has bedrooms for everyone as well as a gym, rooms for target practice and simulation rooms"
"Magnifico" replied Antonio "I can use the kitchen to make some new recipes with all the new fish I've seen"
"And I can improve my cooking for culinary school" said Mia to which everyone else were not as enthusiastic about that response
"With this new base all of you will have a place to live and train" said Gosei "I have also created a bay for your zords"
"Thank you Gosei" replied Heath "Now it's time to get down to business. Ross, Alex, Hannah, Stephanie. It's time to give you some answers"
-Aranna's Temple-
Aranna sat on the throne in her temple with a sinister smirk on her face. Lash stood next to her along with her two generals Rhonox, a rhino monster and Tigron, a tiger monster.
"My rise to power is beginning. The throne of the Ancient World will be mine soon" said Aranna
"It should already be yours" replied Lash
"Patience my dear sister" replied Aranna "It doesn't matter how long it takes as long as I claim the throne and rebuild the Ancient World in my image making all the other people my slaves. You will stand as my second-in-command Lash along with my Rhonox and Tigron"
"So what is your plan Aranna?" asked Rhonox
"I'll send a message to the people of Emerald Ridge by having a monster attack them and give them a glimpse of what will happen to them in the near future" answered Aranna
"Great plan Aranna" replied Tigron "The people of Emerald Ridge will be running for their lives, making it much more entertaining"
"Now all we need is a monster" said Lash "PLAGUS!"
Plagus entered the room, his body had some decay in it and he was hunched back.
"You needed me Lash?" asked Plagus
"My sister needs a monster to strike fear into the hearts of the residents of Emerald Ridge" Lash replied
"Of course" said Plagus "Would you like me to make a monster or find a monster for you?"
"Either way would be fine Plagus" answered Lash "Beside you have a lot of work on your hands making the Mummydrones"
"I used to be able to unleash the plagues of Egypt on people. But after battle a long time ago I had that ability taken away from me so now I just build Mummydrones" replied Plagus "There are a lot of monsters in the galaxy that would be perfect for the job to help Aranna take over the Ancient World, so I have already found one for you"
"Excellent" replied Lash
One of the doors in the temple opened and a lot of smoke came out of it and out walked a red monster with black dots on its back. It was a ladybug monster with blasters attached to his wrists and shoulders.
"I'm Blaster Bug" the monster said "Pleasure to be of service"
"My sister needs you to attack the city of Emerald Ridge. Can you do that?" asked Lash
"No problem" replied Blaster Bug
"Before we send him out there I'd like to see what he's capable of" said Aranna
Aranna summoned some Mummydrones to surround Blaster Bug. The Mummydrones attacked but Blaster Bug was able to blast them all to pieces with relative ease.
"Is that good enough Aranna?" asked Blaster Bug
"Perfect" Aranna replied sinisterly
Blaster Bug looked to a closed door in the temple.
"What's behind that door?" Blaster Bug asked
Rhonox stepped in front of the door.
"What's behind this door is what will happen to you if you ever double-cross Aranna" Rhonox said "Would you like to see what's in there?"
"Uh no thanks" replied Blaster Bug "Judging by your explanation I can assume that what's behind that door is really disturbing"
Aranna looked directly at Blaster Bug.
"Plagus will make some Mummydrones to help you and while were waiting you could take sometime to regain some energy" said Aranna "After you're at full strength you can go down to the city. And if anyone tries to stop you blast them into oblivion"
-Ranger Base-
Everyone gathered in the meeting room while Heath placed the stone briefcase on the table in the middle of the room as he began to explain about what was going on.
"A long time ago the Ancient World was a peaceful place, it was ruled by the Pharaoh and Queen of the Ancient World until one day an evil warrior-sorceress named Aranna attacked and killed them. She tried to claim the throne, but the Pharaoh and Queen had put a spell on the throne to prevent her from claiming it, a spell that no one has been able to figure out. Originally if all members of the royal bloodline were killed than anyone can take the throne by force, The Pharaoh knew this and activated this spell since both him and the Queen were the final members of the royal bloodline."
"So that's what Aranna wants, the Pharaoh's throne" said Jayden
"Yes" replied Heath "The Pharaoh's throne is the ultimate source of power whoever sits in it can rule over all dimensions and universes"
"And if Aranna gets that throne what happens?" asked Emily
"She'll have the power to rule over the Ancient World as well as all dimensions and she will turn most of the people across all dimensions into her slaves to rebuild it in her image" replied Heath
"But what happens to the other people?" asked Orion
"They all die" answered Heath to which made everyone uneasy "Which is why I have to give you these"
Heath spoke in an Ancient Egyptian language to which the stone briefcase opened and Heath showed the contents of it to everyone. They all looked in amazement as they saw 4 familiar looking devices.
"Wait a minute" said Kevin "Are those?"
"Yes" replied Heath "They are Hieromorphers. After the throne rejected Aranna it took most of her energy and she went into hiding for many years. During that time the Gods decided that create a team of Power Rangers to defend The Ancient World, so the Hieromorphers were created. Everyone in the Ancient World trained to become Power Rangers after many weeks of training the Hieromorphers decided who was worthy of using them. The Red Heiromorpher chose me, I led the team"
"What happened to your team?" asked Gia
"When Aranna attacked again she critically injured my team. They didn't survive" answered Heath
Everyone felt sorry for Heath as that was a really painful memory for him to relive.
"I've been battling Aranna's forces for the last 5 years by myself but know the battle has gotten too tough for me to fight alone. Throughout the years the power of the Heiromorphers have been looking all over the world and making a list of who should wield their powers. Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie, you were the first ones on the lists. That is the reason why you have been having visions of the Ancient Zords, they have called out to you"
"So these morphers have chosen us to become Power Rangers" said Ross
"Out of all the people in the world who would seem far more qualified our names we're at the top of these "lists"" said Alex
"Yes" replied Heath "You don't have to accept these powers if you don't want to. If you choose not to accept them, you can return to your normal lives and the powers will contact the next people on the list"
"Well, we did travel all the way to Egypt" said Hannah "We almost got killed today, two past Ranger teams have lost their powers and one team's house got destroyed "
"Plus, Aranna has seen us" said Stephanie "So if we refuse we'd be targets. It'd be foolish of us to turn this down"
"I'm in" said Ross
"So am I" said Alex
"Me too" said Hannah
"I'm ready to fight" said Stephanie
Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie each grabbed a Heiromorpher from the stone briefcase and put it on their left wrists.
"Welcome to the team" said Heath "Ross you will be the Blue Ranger, Alex you will be the Green Ranger, Hannah you will be the Yellow Ranger and Stephanie you will be the Pink Ranger"
The 4 new Rangers smiled as the realised the legacy that they we now a part of.
"Before you morph a relic key will appear on your right wrist, to morph you need to say "Ancient Power, Ancient World", insert the key into the side of the morpher and turn it. You will then be transformed" said Heath
"Awesome" replied Alex
"We also have to keep our identities secret" said Stephanie
"Actually you don't need to" replied Heath
"What?" asked Ross all confused
"Like I said before everyone in the Ancient World trained to become Power Rangers and when the morphers chose who was worthy there was a ceremony, everyone knew who was chosen. So the secret identity rule doesn't apply to these powers" said Heath
Everyone was amazed by this.
"So we can tell anyone we want about our identities?" asked Alex
"You can, but you should be careful who you tell" answered Heath
"He's got a point" said Hannah "If we tell the wrong person we could fall into a trap or they could use us to make themselves internet famous. Revealing our identities could also make that person a target for Aranna's forces"
"But if we have to leave in the middle of something we'd have a valid reason" said Stephanie
"So there are positives and negatives" said Ross
"Exactly" replied Heath
Just then the alarm blared around the base. Everyone approached one of the monitors and saw Blaster Bug causing havoc around the city.
"It's time for action" said Heath "Since this will be your first morph the suits will help you out like a tutorial. Plus these suits can make your body do things you never thought possible"
"Some of us will help get the citizens to safety" Jayden said
"The rest of us will stay here and use the computers to analyse the monster to find any weakness" said Noah
"Heath I would like you wish you and your new team good luck" said Gosei
Heath, Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie were then teleported away. Along with Jayden, Kevin, Mike, Emily, Troy, Jake, Gia, Emma and Orion.
-Emerald Ridge-
The citizens of Emerald Ridge were running for their lives as Blaster Bug was firing away like crazy.
"I love it when my targets move" Blaster Bug laughed "It gives me more of a challenge"
Blaster Bug kept blasting at civilians and even blasted some buildings in the process. Some people got minor injuries from the falling debris.
"That's right this just a small taste of what's to come" yelled Blaster Bug "Soon you will all bow down to Aranna, the future ruler of the Ancient World as well as all of the entire universe"
"Yeah, well we disagree with you" said a voice
"Huh? Who said that?" Blaster Bug asked angrily
Just then Heath, Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie walked onto the scene to face Blaster Bug. In the background; Jayden, Kevin, Mike, Emily, Troy, Jake, Gia, Emma and Orion got all the civilians to safety.
"And who might you be?" Blaster Bug asked
"We are the ones who are going to kick your ass all over Emerald Ridge" said Ross
"And squash you like the bug you are" said Alex
"Really? You five think you five pathetic humans think you can beat be? Don't make me laugh" replied Blaster Bug
Heath stepped forward and put his arms in the shape of an "X" as his morpher appeared on his wrists.
"READY" yelled Heat
"READY" replied Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie
"ANCIENT POWER, ANCIENT WORLD. HA!" everyone yelled as they inserted the relic keys into their morphers and transformed
"Power of fire, Ancient World Red Ranger!" yelled Heath
"Power of water, Ancient World Blue Ranger!" yelled Ross
"Power of the forest, Ancient World Green Ranger!" yelled Alex
"Power of earth, Ancient World Yellow Ranger!" yelled Hannah
"Power of wind, Ancient World Pink Ranger!" yelled Stephanie
"So it looks like the five of you have special powers" said Blaster Bug "Luckily I didn't come alone. Mummydrones!"
An army of Mummydrones were summoned in front of Blaster Bug, they switched into attack mode and pulled weapons out of their bodies.
"Are you all ready for your first battle as Power Rangers?" Heath asked his new team
"Hell yeah!" answered Stephanie
The Power Rangers got into their fighting stance.
"DESTROY THEM!" Blaster Bug yelled at the Mummydrones as they began to charge towards the Rangers
The Rangers and the Mummydrones battled hard. Punches and kicks were thrown towards one another.
Hannah and Stephanie worked together against the Mummydrones. One of the charged at Hannah from behind her back but Hannah managed to dodge it by doing a high backflip over it.
"What the hell?! I can't do a backflip like that" said Hannah
A Mummydrone swing its sword high at Stephanie's head but Stephanie ducked under by doing the splits.
"Hey I can't do the splits, I'm not even flexible" said Stephanie
"It must be the abilities of the suits like Heath told us about" replied Hannah
The two of them regrouped and continued to fight the Mummydrones.
Elsewhere Ross and Alex were also fighting of a swarm of Mummydrones. Alex performed an upward kick to the head of one of the Mummydrones the kick was so powerful it took that Mummydrones head off. Ross executed a powerful punch to send another Mummydrone sailing backwards.
"Man, the powers of these suits are awesome" said Alex
"Damn right" replied Ross "Watch out!"
Alex managed to evade the oncoming Mummydrone but soon more of them appeared and the numbers soon managed to get the better of Ross and Alex.
Hannah and Stephanie were soon starting to get outnumbered as well.
The four of them managed to get back to Heath who was fighting the Mummydrones a lot better due to his experience.
"You were right Heath" said Ross "We shouldn't take the Mummydrones lightly, especially with our inexperience of being Power Rangers"
The Mummydrones gathered around the Rangers in a circle, all the Rangers stood back-to-back in their fighting stance as they looked at all the Mummydrones.
"So Rangers it looks like your surrounded" Blaster Bug laughed
"It's time for us to kick it up a notch" said Heath "DRAGON SWORD!"
Heath summoned his Dragon Sword.
"Heath, you said that these suits will help us out for our first battle" said Hannah "I guess that also means summoning our weapons"
"You got that right" replied Heath
"Ok, lets do it!" yelled Ross
The other 4 Rangers taped into their helmets in order to summon their weapons.
"SCORPION SPEAR" yelled Ross
"SNAKE SAI" yelled Alex
"EAGLE STAFF" yelled Hannah
"BEETLE NUNCHUCKS" yelled Stephanie
The Rangers were ready as the Mummydrones charged in Heath was able to defeat the Mummydrones that attacked him with ease while the others despite difficulty with their weapons at first were able to pull it together and defeat the rest of the Mummydrones.
The four new Rangers began to celebrate and Heath then came towards them.
"These powers are awesome Heath" said Alex
"This battle is not over yet" replied Heath "Don't get cocky"
"Don't worry with these weapons we'll squash that oversized bug" Ross said confidently
"Oh yeah" Blaster Bug said angrily as he jumped into the scene "Take this"
Blaster Bug fired blasts towards the Rangers.
"Everyone move!" yelled Heath
Heath jumped out of the way in time, but all the others didn't move in time and got blasted.
"Don't make jokes about the monster" Heath said to his team
"Noted" replied Ross as he and the others were getting up
Blaster Bug fired another blast towards the Rangers. Ross, Alex, Hannah and Stephanie jumped towards the side to dodge the blast while Heath jumped high up in the air to avoid it and jumped towards Blaster Bug.
Heath swung his sword down but Blaster Bug blocked it with the blaster on his wrist. Both Heath and Blaster Bug were evenly matched, the other Rangers joined in the fight. Despite being outnumbered Blaster Bug was able to hold his own against the Rangers.
While the 4 of the Rangers were battling Blaster Bug; Ross managed to sneak up behind Blaster Bug. Ross jumped up in the air ready to swing his spear downwards.
"Ross look out" Noah said from the base over the morphers
"Spot Missiles!" yelled Blaster Bug as the spots on his back opened up and fired missiles directly at Ross, blasting him out of the air
"You can't sneak up on me" said Blaster Bug confidently
Ross staggered getting back up and he eventually rejoined the rest of the Rangers.
"My missiles can do more than just fire on opponents behind me" said Blaster Bug "Spot Missiles!"
The spots on Blaster Bug's back opened once again and fired missiles. The missiles started going backwards but then turned around heading towards the Rangers. The Rangers did everything they could to dodge the missiles. They were able to dodge some of them but also got hit by some of them too.
Things soon escalated when some of the missiles were heading towards some innocent children that were near the area. Heath rushed towards them and managed to get them out of the way. Blaster Bug then charged at Heath who managed to fend him off. Jayden and Emma turned up to help get the kids to safety.
The Rangers began to work together and they managed to send Blaster Bug flying backwards and to the ground.
"I'm done messing around with you Rangers" yelled Blaster Bug "It's time to end this"
Blaster Bug's chest opened up to reveal a cannon. Blaster Bug then charged his attack.
"Heath what can we do?" asked Hannah "Even if we try to use our weapons to defend we can't withstand a blast form that"
"Don't worry" replied Heath "We got our own fire power… Ancient Cannon!"
A double-barrelled cannon appeared, it had three legs under it like a tripod. Heath stood behind it, holding the triggers about to fire while the others stood beside him.
"This is the end for you Rangers!" yelled Blaster Bug as his chest cannon was fully charged "FIRE!"
A powerful blast fired from Blaster Bug's chest cannon. Heath and the others stood there calmly.
"FIRE!" yelled Heath as he pulled the triggers on the Ancient Cannon
The blast from the Ancient Cannon easily powered through Blaster Bug's blast leaving Blaster Bug stunned.
"What the? Oh no, oh no!" yelled Blaster Bug as the blast from the Ancient Cannon headed towards him.
Blaster Bug yelled in pain as the blast hit him directly and Blaster Bug was destroyed in a huge explosion.
Jayden, Kevin, Mike, Emily, Troy, Jake, Gia, Emma and Orion showed up inform that all the civilians were moved to safety and also to congratulate the new Ranger team on their victory.
-Aranna's Temple-
Aranna sat in her throne and watched the monitor after what had just happened. Lash, Rhonox, Tigron and Plagus were also watching. Lash was not happy about it.
"I can't believe it!" Lash yelled angrily
"Calm down Lash" said Rhonox
"Calm down!" Lash replied "Blaster Bug just got blasted into oblivion!"
Aranna then got up out of her throne.
"The Red Ranger's new team just had a bit of beginners luck" said Aranna "It's time to take this fight to the next level"
The centre of the room opened up and a glass cylinder connected to a stone podium rose up from the centre. Aranna then opened the glass cylinder, places here staff inside it, closed the door then stepped back and rose here arms to the side.
"A warrior had fallen but this battle is not over yet. It will have a second chance and a new field will be set. As the skies turn dark and the blood begins to flow. Revive it! Recharge it! And make the monster grow!"
Just then electricity crackled around the staff and a huge wave of electrical energy shot up, went through the roof of the temple and headed towards the city.
-Emerald Ridge-
The Rangers were being congratulated on their victory when Heath then noticed the electrical energy heading toward the area they were in.
"Guys this is not over yet" Heath said
Everyone looked up as the energy stuck the spot where Blaster Bug was destroyed and then in a quick flash Blaster Bug was revived as a giant monster.
"I've bought out the big guns Rangers!" yelled Blaster Bug as he tried to stomp on the Rangers along with the past Rangers.
The Rangers and the others managed to jump out of the way.
"You all get back to the base" Heath said to past Rangers and they teleported themselves back to the base "We need the Ancient Zords, NOW!"
-Ranger Base-
At the Ranger base Noah programmed the computer to open the door to the Zord Bay.
"Ancient Zords are on their way" Noah replied
The Ancient Zords left the Zord Bay and headed towards the city.
-Emerald Ridge-
The Ancient Zords arrived in the city to help the Rangers out, to which all the Rangers jumped into their Zords.
"All right!" yelled Alex "Time for the fun part"
"Of all my years of designing weapons for the military I never thought I would be piloting a Zord" said Hannah "Stephanie, have you done anything like this before?"
"I've driven jeeps and tanks but never a Zord" replied Stephanie
"Since this is also your first time piloting a Zord your control panels will also help you out" Heath told his team
"Awesome" replied Ross "Now let's take care of business"
The Ancient Zords lined up side by side, the Rangers grabbed the joysticks in the centre of their control panels, pushed them forward and the Zords charged towards Blaster Bug.
"Your pathetic Zords don't scare me Rangers" said Blater Bug cockily "Take this!"
Blaster Bug fired his blasters at the zords but the shots missed as explosions occurred behind the Zords as the Zords kept on moving.
"Let's see how you like this" said Hannah as she pressed the lit up buttons on her control panel "Sand attack!"
The Eagle Zord opened up its mouth and fired sand directly at Blaster Bug.
"Ow sand in my eyes!" yelled Blaster Bug
Just then the Eagle Zord picked up a huge piece of rock with its feet and then hurled it at Blaster Bug, knocking him down in the process.
"So that's why your Eagle Zord is linked to the element of Earth" said Stephanie "Now it's time to see why my Beetle Zord is associated with the element of wind. Tornado attack!"
The Beetle Zord used its wings to create a tornado which sent Blaster Bug flying backwards onto the ground.
Just as Blaster Bug got up to his feet the Snake Zord proceed to wrap itself around his body and constrict him.
"Hey, get off me!" Blaster Bug yelled angrily as he tried to move his arms and legs but to no avail
The Scorpion Zord came up and started striking Blaster Bug in the chest area with its tail.
"You don't mess around with our Zords Blaster Bug" said Ross "Hannah give him another rock"
The Eagle Zord picked up another huge rock and hurled it at Blaster Bug
"Spot Missiles!" yelled Blaster Bug as the spots on his back opened up, fired missiles out of them and blasted the huge rock to pieces.
"Damn it" said Hannah in disbelief "I forgot about those"
Blaster Bug then was able to move his arms and used the blasters on his wrists to blast the Eagle and Beetle Zords sending them crashing to the ground. He then used his fist to punch the Snake Zord in the head causing it to let go of its constriction and he then fired some shots with the blasters on his shoulders at the Scorpion Zord knocking it down. 4 Zords were temporarily knocked down.
"Your Zords are no match for me" bragged Blaster Bug
"I wouldn't count on that Blaster Bug" said Heath as he was flying above with the Dragon Zord
"I'll blast you and the Charizard-looking knock off out of the sky. Spot Missiles!" yelled Blaster Bug
Heath moved the joystick on the control panel to make the Dragon Zord easily avoid the missiles shot towards it. This made Blaster Bug angry as he then proceeded to fire from the blasters on his wrists and shoulders but once again the Dragon Zord was able to avoid the blasts with ease.
"I'm out of missiles and my blasters need to recharge" said Blaster Bug
The Dragon Zord landed on its feet, held up its claw and told Blaster Bug to bring it.
"Oh you wanna throw down?!" yelled Blaster Bug angrily "Until my blasters recharge I'll just have to destroy you the old fashioned way with my own hands"
Blaster Bug charged forward as the Dragon Zord just stood in place.
"Heath what are you doing?" asked Jayden as he communicated from the bases communication room through to Heath's morpher
"Just waiting" replied Heath confidently
Blaster Bug came closer and closer to the Dragon Zord ready to fight.
"Flamethrower!" yelled Heath as he pushed the buttons on the control panel
The Dragon Zord opened up its mouth and proceeded to breathe fire onto Blaster Bug
"OW HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT!" yelled Blaster Bug in pain
"Maybe you need a little bit of cooling off" replied Ross as the Scorpion Zord got back up "Hydro Pump!"
The Scorpion Zord opened up its claws and shot powerful water blasts at Blaster Bug.
"COLD, COLD, COLD, COLD!" yelled Blaster Bug as he staggered backwards while being pelted with water
Just then the Sanke Zord wrapped its tail around one building and it head around another looking like a rope on the process which was used to trip Blaster Bug causing him to fall on his back.
"Ok guys it's time to get serious" said Heath "ZORDS COMBINE, ANCIENT WORLD MEGAZORD TRANSFORM!"
The Zords combined as the Scorpion Zord formed the right leg, the Snake Zord formed the left leg, the Eagle Zord formed the left arm, the Beetle Zord formed the right arm and the Dragon Zord formed the head and torso.
The Rangers were all together in the Ancient World Megazords cockpit where they stood at their control panels.
"You ready for your first Megazord fight?" Heath asked his team
"Ready as I'll ever be" replied Ross
"Ready for kick some ass" said Alex
"Lets take this bug down" said Hannah
"And show him that you don't mess with the Power Rangers" replied Stephanie
The Ancient World Megazord got into its fighting stance while Blaster Bug got up.
"So you've combine all your Zords into one. Perfect, now that my blasters are recharged I can destroy you all at once" said Blaster Bug
The Rangers pushed the joysticks on their control panels forward which caused the Ancient World Megazord to run towards Blaster Bug.
Blaster Bug fired blasts from his wrist blasters and shoulder blasters but they missed causing explosions behind the Ancient World Megazord as it continued to run towards Blaster Bug.
"Hannah, Stephanie you're up" said Heath
Hannah and Stephanie proceeded to press buttons on their control panel along with moving the joystick. This caused the Ancient World Megazord to swing its arms landing hits on Blaster Bug..
Blaster Bug tried to retaliate but the Ancient World Megazord blocked his hits and swung its fist breaking the blasters on Blaster Bug's wrists and shoulders.
"You'll pay for that Rangers!" yelled Blaster Bug angrily
"Oh yeah?" replied Alex "Take this. VENOM KICK!"
The Ancient World Megazord performed a roundhouse kick with its left leg, hitting Blaster Bug in the head knocking him down to his hands and knees in the process.
"STINGER PUNT!" yelled Ross
The Ancient World Megazord then punt kicked Blaster Bug right in the gut sending him upwards into the sky.
The Ancient World Megazord jumped up into the air, clinched its right fist, the left hand cupped the right fist and the Ancient World Megazord hammered Blaster Bug in the back sending him crashing to the ground. The Ancient World Megazord landed back down on its feet.
"We just took you down Blaster Bug" said Ross confidently "What are you gonna do? Your weapons have been destroyed"
"Oh yeah?" replied Blaster Bug as he got back up
Blaster Bug's chest opened up to once again reveal a cannon.
"You just had to say that" Alex said as he looked over towards Ross
Blaster Bug fired his cannon, the blast hit the Ancient World Megazord directly in the chest as small explosions and sparks came from its chest. The cockpit shook as the Ancient World Megazord staggered backwards.
"That blast was powerful" said Hannah
"According to the systems if we take another hit like that there's a chance we could be destroyed" said Stephanie
"Don't worry it won't come to that" replied Heath "Just follow my lead"
Heath pushed the joystick the control panel forward to which the other Rangers complied. The Ancient World Megazord then proceeded to run forward.
Blaster Bug charged up his cannon once again and fired.
"NOW!" yelled Heath as everyone then moved the joysticks to the right causing Ancient World Megazord to dodge the blast
"WHAT?!" yelled Blaster Bug
The Ancient World Megazord wrapped its left arm around the cannon, cliched its right fist and struck the cannon with a hammer fist breaking the cannon in the process.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" yelled Blaster Bug in complete shock
The Ancient World Megazord then got behind Blaster Bug, grabbed his right wrist with its left hand, spun Blaster Bug out and pulled him in hitting him with a Rainmaker clothesline.
"Awesome!" yelled Alex "The Ancient World Megazord can do a Rainmaker"
"This Megazord knows a lot of wrestling moves" replied Heath "Now lets finish this. Ancient World Megazord Saber"
The Ancient World Megazord summoned its Saber as Blaster Bug slowly got back up.
"Uh oh" said Blaster Bug nervously
"PYRAMID SLASH!" yelled Heath as he moved the joystick on his control panel in the formation of a pyramid
The Ancient World Megazord's Saber began to glow and with one diagonal slash Blaster Bug yelled out in pain as electricity cracked around him and he fell backwards and exploded. Blaster Bug was destroyed.
The Rangers celebrated their victory in the Megazords cockpit while the past Ranger teams celebrated in Ranger Base's control room. The Ancient World Megazord stood tall as it posed over the city.
-Aranna's Temple-
Aranna sat on her throne in her temple watching the monitor while Lash, Rhonox, Tigron and Plagus watched from the temple floor. Lash was furious over what had just happened.
"The Rangers have destroyed Blaster Bug!" yelled Lash "Plagus you found him which means you have failed us"
Lash grabbed Plagus by the collar and held her sword up to him.
"Lash" Aranna said sternly "What did I tell you earlier? Patience my dear sister"
Lash let go of Plagus and looked directly at Aranna.
"Patience?!" replied Lash "The Rangers defeated Blaster Bug not just once, but twice. If we want to win this war we cannot afford to be patient"
"Wars were not won overnight" said Aranna "The Rangers can have their little victory for now but overall they are just prolonging the inevitable. I killed the Red Rangers previous team, I can do the same to this one. It doesn't matter how long it takes, I will claim the Pharaoh's throne and rule over the Ancient World"
Everyone in the temple looked at Aranna while she grinned evilly.
"The Red Rangers new team will start to get stronger soon" Rhonox
"Exactly Rhonox. The Red Rangers new team are just learning how to use their powers" replied Aranna as she got up off her throne and walked down the stairs to the temple floor "Which is why we must capitalise on the advantage while we still have it"
"What do you need us to do?" asked Tigron
"Find me another monster" Aranna answered
"You got it Aranna" replied Tigron as he and Rhonox went to find another monster for Aranna while Plagus went to make more Mummydrones
Lash stood there as she looked up as her older sister went back up the steps to sit in her throne. Aranna sat in her throne and grinned menacingly.
-Ranger Base-
The Rangers returned to the base where they were greeted by the past Rangers, Mentor Ji, Gosei and Tensou.
"Well done Rangers" Mentor Ji said to Heath and his teammates
"Thank you" replied Heath "But this war is far from over. So my team and I are gonna need all the help we can get"
"Indeed" replied Gosei "Which is why both the Samurai and Megaforce teams will become your mentors"
Both the Samurai and Megaforce teams looked at both Gosei and Mentor Ji.
"You want us to become mentors to the new Rangers?" Troy asked Gosei
"Yes Troy" answered Gosei "This is the reason your team along with the Samurai team were called forth to accompany the 4 people to Egypt"
"If we are supposed to mentor this new Ranger team, what will you do?" Jayden asked both Mentor Ji and Gosei
"We will help out from time to time, but we will also try to do whatever we can to restore your powers" replied Mentor Ji "Each of you will be assigned to mentor the Ranger of your own colours"
"What about me and Orion?" asked Antonio "This team doesn't have a 6th Ranger?"
"You will help out with the other Rangers along with various other things around the base like the Zords, the technology and even helping us try to restore your powers" answered Gosei
"Whatever helps" replied Orion
"It's so exiting to have 2 teams of past Rangers as our mentors" said Hannah
"I might know the most about the threat we're dealing with since I have battled Aranna's forces for many years" said Heath as he looked at the past Ranger teams "But as I said earlier in this war we are gonna need all the help we can get and with your experience battling other evil forces me and my new team can learn some new things from you"
Heath shook both Jayden and Troys hands as a showing of respect.
"And we can learn some things about your world" said Jayden "What can you tell us about Aranna?"
"Aranna is cold-hearted and calculating" Heath answered "A lot of men, women and children have been killed by her. She's a very strategic person as her forces can attack when the time is right"
This made everyone feel a little uneasy as Heath then turned to his new team.
"Since the suits helped you in your first battle you can understand the power that you possess, but there is a difference between having power and mastering, which means that you 4 are gonna have to learn things that took people in my world years to master and since Aranna knows that you are new to being Rangers she will not just sit around and wait for you to master your powers she will attack and take advantage of the situation and if she gets the chance she will kill you. We must not give her that chance"
"We won't give her that chance" said Ross
"What are we waiting for? Let's start training" said Alex
Everyone proceeded to head to the training rooms.
"Jayden, Troy stay back I need to talk about something with you" said Gosei
"What is it Gosei?" asked Troy
"There is something special about Heath. He has a hidden power in him" Gosei answered
"What kind of hidden power?" asked Jayden "Is this a civilian power?"
"Heath does have some civilian powers but the power I sense in him is different" replied Gosei
"Is this power a good power or bad power?" Troy asked
"It's definitely a good power but what it is exactly I do not know. There hidden power he has is something more powerful than anything any Ranger past, present or future would ever have"
Jayden and Troy began to wonder and both of them went to join the others in the training rooms.
