Luz yelled in surprise as he was dragged through the Truth, white light all around him.
He looked around in alarm. What the hell is going on?! How did they—
His thoughts were thrown off as he abruptly reached the end, and the white light began to fade as he was reconstructed in the real world. He caught a glimpse of a dark metal floor before he was falling, and hit the ground a second later.
He winced in pain and sluggishly tried to get his bearings, but his eyes hadn't yet adjusted to the dim lighting, so he couldn't see much.
A second later, he heard a familiar yell and a second thud, and spun around to see who it was.
Eda are you okay luz asked.
Im fine Eda said.
They saw Emily,kim,gus,sasha,willow,Anne,vee,Steven,kipo,krel,aja,Maria,hisirdoux and darrel.
Are all okay Eda asked.
We're fine Steven said.
Then they all froze in shock. A black mass with a vaguely humanoid shape stood in the middle of the room. Large eyes covered the creature's entire body, and they could see the head and hands of someone peeking out of the creature's stomach, their face contorted in pain.
"One, two, three, four.sacrifices but There's still one missing and the 15 remaining jinchuriki. Perhaps it's being prepared as we speak." They stared at the monster in shock. It was humanoid in shape, but had a thick, black body, and was covered in the same red eyes that Pride had. Caleb seemed to be fused with it, but in an awkward way; his leg protruded from the monster's shoulder, and his head stuck out from its hip.
"dad!" Luz shouted.
"Ah. I apologize. You'll have to excuse my sorry appearance."
"What is that thing!?"
"It's my brother Philip. You know him as nechros. I destroyed the leather bag of a body he was in but…." His voice became muffled as nechros absorbed his head into his body, preventing him from speaking.
"Enough. You talk too much, brother. And now, to my honored guests. Please make yourselves at home for now while I do some important." Nechros announced as he puts on an plumer id mask to look like his old self then he disappeared.
The boiling isles.
Outside the Titan's head, the stormy clouds were parted just enough to show both the moon and sun nearing an eclipse. All of the Coven witches from across the isles have gathered into a large, circular area. Nechros appeared on top of a raised platform in the center, and the crowd gasped. Nechros grinned deviously and then projected a larger version of himself with everyone starting to cheer.
"Children of the Isles! For too long, our world has been home to an insidious pox. A corruption that defiles the Titan's blessings. Now, that corruption has taken ahold of all 4 Coven Heads! But today, that changes. United with the Titan, and the power of the eclipse, we shall wipe out wild magic forever, starting with those 4 traitors after the Day of the Unity. Paradise awaits!", Nechros proclaimed, reaching toward the sun and moon.
Nechros' projection faded out, and the remaining shadow coven heads. Then, Nechros raised his arms and then drew a large glyph-like shape into the ground below himself. He raised his staff into the air and activated it.
"Goodbye, Boiling Isles.", Nechros smirked in a low voice before he slammed his staff into the ground and activated the glyph, sending large pillars of light into the air.
All of the audience's Coven Sigils started glowing. He then turned into goo and disappeared into the ground.
Meanwhile, goku, Darius, Eberwolf, Mason, Osran, scarlet witch and Hooty were all locked up in cells at nechros's Conformatorium. Lilith turned to see Katya and Derwin already looking down sadly.
"Aw, titan darn it! After all that, we still failed!", mason shouted in anger, if not sadness.
"Everyone thinks they're gonna be in paradise after today. It's over...", wanda said sadly.
"This is NOT how I wanted to go out! Locked up in a conformatorium cell of all places... Is that how it feels to be so... so...", Darius began.
"I was going to say trapped, but yes!", Darius responded.
"I can't believe that this is how it ends...!", goku spoke sadly.
"Thus, despair casts a blanket of darkness over us all, eliminating all traces of light, and with it, any hint of hope...", Hooty said sadly.
In the head of the Titan, Nechros reformed himself at the center where his portal is, accompanied by black zetsu, and then noticed kraang prime and ronnan' message on the monitor before answering.
"nechros. Is it time for Plan B.", ronnan spoke.
"Plan B? Now, whatever could be the matter?", Nechros asked.
"That depends. How are things going on your end?", kraang asked.
"Just wonderful. Everyone is all gathered at the promise day and the draining spell has been activated. It cannot be stopped now, not even if I wanted to.", Nechros replied.
"Well, that's good, because things on my end bombed! Good news, my weapon are ready. Bad news, i don't have your location I need the energy from the negative speed force machine so the invasion can begin!", kraang panicked.
"You don't say...", Nechros said, not the least bit shocked or surprised.
"Wait. You don't sound even a little bit surprised.", kraang said.
"If you are asking me for my help, I'm afraid that's impossible.", Nechros smirked.
"What? Wait, that wasn't the deal! You said that you'd join us in multiversal conquest if we helped you with the draining spell...! Those were your words!", Andrias said.
"And I'm sorry, but you have outlived your usefulness the moment, I just realized I the negative speed force machine has one more charge left soo.", Nechros said as he took off his illusion necklace.
"What a cow incident I lied too about who i really ", the hologram of kraang prime change and revealed to be kang the conqueror.
then nechros grabbed a nearby mace and smashed the monitor with it.then he teleported back to the world of bending.

Luz glared at pride, preparing for a fight, but then nechros came back then he snapped his fingers then someone was behind him that caught Luz's gaze. She gasped. "Korra!"
She was suspended about ten feet off the ground. Her wrists were chained together above her head, which had to be putting a painful strain on her shoulders. She didn't respond to his call, and her head was bowed. She must be unconscious. Bue stood off to the side beneath her, watching events unfold silently.
nechros smiled widely at her. "Yes, you've noticed the newest addition to my home's décor. Please leave her alone for now."
luz didn't listen. She ran over to her anyway and looked around as she tried to figure out a way to get her down. She moved her hands to clap, but Bue's arms shot out to grab luz wrists and restrain her.
"Free the Avatar, and I will kill her." Bue snarled.
luz glared at the spirit. "No, you won't. I know you need her alive."
Bue didn't look happy about being called on his bluff. All three eyes narrowed and his grip tightened painfully. "Then I will cut off one of her legs instead."
luz knew that one wasn't a bluff. She fully believed both the spirit and nechros were willing and capable of doing something like that. She lowered her hands, defeated, and Bue let go.
luz felt guilty leaving korra there, but there was nothing she could do. She walked back to join eda, since she was unsure of what else to do.
The room filled with sound of alchemic energy crackling, and they looked up to see rj fall into the room.
"auntie rj! What are you doing here? What happened?" Luz,kim,Emily and eda rushed over to her.
"I was flung into a strange place. Like a gateway of some sort." Rj responded as she pulled herself up to her hands and knees. SHe was trembling. Her hands were bleeding; it looked like they'd been pierced completely through.
luz gasped. "You mean the portal of Truth? That means something's been taken from you! But your arms and legs, they're all here!"
"luz, how can you assess my condition when it's so dark in here?"
luz's heart dropped like a stone. The Truth had taken rj's eyesight.
"You performed it? Human transmutation?" She accused angrily.
"Of course not! You think I'd willingly do that?" Rj retorted. She voice sounded equally as angry.
"That's true, she refused. We had to force him to open it." Luz looked up as Pride spoke. She had entered the room unnoticed holding shark skin and now stood beside nechros.
nechros sighed exasperatedly. "I wish we could say that we now have all five sacrifices.
Kim and Emily was kneeling beside rj, rubbing her back as she tried to comfort him. Luz looked up as she saw korra stir and take in the scene below her.
"luz? What's happening?"
Before she could answer, an explosion above them shattered a portion of the ceiling, and Lincoln,amity,collector,lucy and king jumped down into the room.
"My home now has a gaping hole in it. How dare you, girl." Nechros complained in annoyance as he gazed up at the ceiling.
korra was writhing against the chains, trying to free herself. Nechros glanced at her. "You can't metal bend out of these those the platinum , Avatar. Don't waste your energy trying to escape, it is a futile effort."
She replied by kicking a stream of air at nechros. He blocked easily with alchemic energy as he gazed at her in displeasure. Bue extended his arms and grabbed her ankles to prevent her from kicking again. She took a deep breath and exhaled fire at the spirit, but he simply morphed his body to avoid the attack. She continued to struggle, but his restraining hold was too strong.
the collector stood and faced nechros. "Philip you hurt my friends now I'm gonna hurt youi!" He shouted at him, and he just gazed lazily back at her. "So, you're not denying it? That's all I need. I'll handle this one, king. Just keep the other homunculus out of my way!"
luz looked towards Pride. "You makes it sound like he's the easy one." But as he watched, sections of Pride's face were flaking off and turning to dust. He must have damaged himself, forcing rj through the portal.
"I think we have a shot, kim,Emily,Lincoln . Let's do it!" Together they clapped and attacked Pride, who jumped out of the way.
"she didn't even try to use her shadows and shark skin!" Lincoln shouted to luz as they ran after Pride.
They attacked again by rippling the ground under Pride's feet. Luz heard collator scream and glanced over to see her sprawled on the floor. "King,Lincoln, go help the collector! Kim,emily go help the others I can take care of Pride!"
"If you say so!" Lincoln yelled as he and king turned on and hurried over to the. As soon as they were gone, luz clapped and transmuted a long wall between herself and everyone else, effectively isolating herself and Pride.
She blocked Pride's shadow attacks, which came quickly but, even so, seemed to be slower than what he'd been able to do back in the forest. Luz was able to get a few good hits in, and each time Pride's body flaked off more material. He now had multiple gaping holes in his face then shark skin began to merge with her face look more shark like.
Luz scoffed. "So you just do everything Daddy tells you, is that it?"
Pride looked at luz dismissively. "Do you need to ask such a ridiculous question? It's only natural we should want to obey our father, no matter the order."
Luz chuckled. "You're the one who's ridiculous. Only natural even if "He's wearing you ragged, breaking you down, and he doesn't even care, huh? So it's natural to be a brainwashed punk who doesn't even try to think for himself?"
Pride paused, before glaring down at luz . "Why should I care if father doesn't? I am not a puny weakling like you are. I am one of the homunculi! What would you know, hybrid?!"
Pride wrapped luz in her shadows and looked down at her hands. "This container won't last much longer even with shark skin. I'll need a new one."
she shifted her gaze back to luz. "So then, luz noceda, your body belongs to me now."
she began to send more of her shadows forward, but they suddenly retreated, and her body became stiff.
Pride gasped. "What?"
In the back of her mind.
Pride could feel one of the souls within him surging with energy, and after a moment, he could hear a voice.
You can't have it, Pride. I won't let you take his body. It's not a good fit for a homunculus.
Pride's eyes widened. "Zedd! There's no way! How could you maintain your individuality among this tempest of souls? It's just not possible!"
You call this a tempest? Oh stop, you're going to make me laugh. The bitterness all these voices contains soothes me like a lullaby.
Pride clutched at her face, which she could feel was only a minute or two away from breaking down. "Why are you interfering? Zedd, why?!"
Not by choice. I was perfectly content, but when you decided to throw away your honor as a homunculus, you forced me to step in. You speak of your precious pride, that quality for which you were named, but then you suddenly find yourself in grave danger and you seek to escape into the body of a human, a lower life form you so despise. It's pathetic. You're a disgrace.
With Pride distracted, luz was able to disentangle herself from the shadows. He stood up, clapped his hands together, and grabbed Pride's head, sending waves of alchemical energy through the homunculus's body.
"SHe'll kill me!"
If you think that, then you still don't understand humans.
Inside her soul, Pride could feel another presence.
"Pride!"
she saw luz and gaped in astonishment.
"Impossible! She turned herself into a philosopher's stone and now is forcing her way inside me?!"
luz grabbed a hold of Pride's soul, which looked similar to Selim, "You've spent your whole life living in your Father's shadow. Maybe it's time you finally had an identity of your own!"
Pride began to tremble. "Stop this. Stop this! PLEASE STOP!"
Red sparks emanated from Pride's body and all at once, his body exploded, sending a wave of dust and debris throughout the room.
luz opened her hand, palm up, to find a teeny baby there. Pride's true form.
She wasn't sure what to do with it, with everything going on around him. She settled for removing her coat, folding it, and placing tiny, vulnerable Pride on top of it on the floor and pick up shark skin.
She was in the process of jogging to go help the others when suddenly she was grabbed from behind and yanked across the room. She landed on the ground at nechros's feet, being held by a black tendril extending from her body. Glancing around, she saw eda,emily, and rj were all being held in a similar manner and the remaining jinchuriki.
"It is time. I'm done indulging you. It's time to put you to work, my sacrifices!" Nechros explained joyously. "This planet, have you ever considered that it might be a life form? Actually, it's more accurate to say it is a giant nervous system. Imagine the vast amount of knowledge such a system would contain, having witnessed all of history, from the very beginning of time. My sacrifices, I will use you to open the planet's gateway!"
nechros extracted belos from himself as he moved his body over towards his chair. Arranging all five of his captives around him, he slammed his hand down on the table, where he had a transmutation circle ready. Alchemic energy flashed around them as luz struggled against nechrose's hold. He could see korra thrashing with renewed vigor, but it was no use.
nechros was laughing hysterically and screamed happily, "Yes! So much power! I can barely contain it! I'll use it to open the planet's gateway!"
The ground shook, the alchemy flashed brighter, and suddenly it was over.
luz stood awkwardly, due to her shaking legs. He heard the others moving, too.
"Well done, my sacrifices."
she looked up to see the black monster was gone.
He had been replaced by a blonde man his appearance becomes starkly similar to Orochimaru's,his left eye become yellow with slitted pupil and his other eye had the Rinnegan and purple markings. A long, white snake also fuses with his abdomen, which he wraps around his waist and which sometimes slithers under or behind him like a tail. sitting in the chair, who was looking very pleased with himself.
"You actually did it?" Belos asked in horror.
"Yes. I have created a Philosopher's Stone using the citizens of Amestris, and I have acquired the power of god." Nechros smiled haughtily.
luz watched in panic as the spirit released korra from her chain and allowed her to fall to the floor. She didn't even airbend to catch herself, but she was able to absorb most of the impact with her legs and ended up on her hands and knees.
luz ran over and knelt beside her. "Are you okay?"
She looked at luz silently, but her eyes were filled with dread. Luz helped her to her feet.
nechros announced to the room. "I have obtained the power of the multiverse, but im missing one thing!"
He extended his hand toward korra, and she raised her own to bend fire at him. But the flame fizzled out shortly after leaving her hands, and nechros blasted a narrow beam of alchemy, hitting her right in the chest. The others wasn't sure what he was doing, or why her fire hadn't worked, but whatever was happening was not good.
"No!" She yelled in protest as she crossed her arms over her body, trying to protect herself from the relentless beam. But it didn't seem to be doing any damage to her.
Lincoln saw king and the collector try to knock nechros from his feet with their powers. Nechros sent his own magic attack in, the shockwaves crossing the floor, and eda had used her green lantern ring to make a giant cannon and Darrel used his beetle armor to form a cannon as well they were blasting nechros with them. Nechros blocked them all with an mystic shield, completely unperturbed by their efforts.
As luz watched, a quadrilateral shape began to glow on korra's body, becoming steadily brighter. Nechros was laughing again, and his excitement was palpable. The light pulsed and suddenly the shape was pulled out of her chest, and korra cried out in pain and fell to her knees. The shape was bright white with sky blue designs on it; it looked almost like a flat snake. A few white tendrils flowed from it, and a long tail trailed behind.
korra's hands shot out and grabbed on to the tail, preventing Father from pulling it away. "No! Raava!"
Realization dawned on him as she called the spirit's name. Now he understood what was happening. But he could do nothing as he watched, helpless, as the red energy wrapped itself around Raava and tried to pull her towards nechros.
"korra," The light spirit, Raava, called out to her. "You must let go!"
"I won't let him take you!" She cried desperately.
"You must! If you don't, your soul will get pulled along with me, and there will be no hope!"
She scrunched up her eyes in concentration, tears flowing freely. "I… I can't… I won't! I need you!"
"korra, please, let me go." The spirit sounded surprisingly calm, all things considered.
She didn't respond, and she didn't let go.
Emily morphed her hand into a blade and raised then, in one hard sweep, cut Raava's tail free.
"No!" Korra cried as she reached forward weakly to try and catch Raava again. But the spirit was pulled away too fast, and the spectators watched as she hit nechros's chest and was absorbed. Nechros shouted in triumph, and his body released a shockwave of energy as the glowing outline of the spirit faded into his skin.
korra collapsed forward and lay on the ground, shaking with emotion.
korra fell forward as her strength seemed to leave her, and her body shook in her devastation. She struggled to move to push herself up. She felt hands grabbing her arm, trying to help her, and she glanced over to find that Lincoln had crouched down beside her.
Bitterness bubbled up instantly and she pushed out, shoving him away from her. He fell backwards, and the removal of both her supporting arm and his help caused her to collapse to the ground again. A hurt look crossed his face as he met her eyes. She gave up on trying to move, so she just lay there staring at him.
"Why?" She wanted to sound angry and threatening, but all she heard in her voice was absolute despair. She tried again but achieved the same results. "Why?"
Lincoln looked at her in pain, with a trace of guilt. "Sh-she said your soul would get pulled, too. I couldn't…" He trailed off, unable to finish.
She was drawn back to awareness of her surroundings as nechros laughed maniacally. Her arms were shaking weakly, but she managed to push herself to her elbows so she could see better.
"I have it! Bue, at long last!"
Bue moved to stand beside nechros as panels moved in the floor, revealing the black orb of the closed spirit portal beneath them. She saw belos's eyes widen and heard luz gasp beside her.
There was nothing she could do to stop it, so she just watched desolately. She was too weak to move, anyway. She felt empty inside, like a giant piece of her was missing, and it left her feeling weirdly detached from what was happening.
luz was shaking her shoulder roughly. "Can't you stop him? Firebend or something?"
Her eyes fell to the ground in front of her, and she felt like it took a lot of effort to form the words in her mouth.
"Don't you get it?" Her voice was low, nearly a whisper. "He stole Raava. He stole my bending. Without her I… I'm useless."
luz gently put her hand on korra's shoulder"You're not useless, korra. You're not defined by the Avatar spirit; you're more than that."
She wanted to believe it, but all her life, her entire existence had been validated because she was the Avatar. Without that, she felt incomplete. She felt like she had a massive hole in her heart and soul without Raava there. She almost felt like a ghost of herself.
She shifted her gaze and watched, feeling miserably disinterested, as nechros put his hands to the portal and it pulsed in response. It sent a pillar of bright light straight through the ceiling, obliterating any pieces of the building in its way to do so. It punched through several floors before finally stretching to the sky. Korra could see through the smashed hole that the solar eclipse was in totality now. Dully, the realization crossed her mind that the eclipse was why her firebend had failed earlier.
The portal's pulse faded, and it shone brightly as vertical tendrils of yellow light swirled and danced in its core.
belos had been gazing at the eclipse, too, but now he began speaking passionately to nechros.
"Your plan was a flawed one. Over the many years, I have performed many calculations, plotting against you. I've planted my own Philosopher's Stones across the entire countryside in preparation for this day. And what's more, my circle is self-activating! And it's a powerful circle, the moon's shadow from the eclipse!"
Meanwhile.
Above nechros's lair, the duel between Bradley and Apollo had slowed down for a moment while each of them caught their breath.
Bradley looked at Apollo carefully. "Tell me: you go by boy. What is your goal?"
my goal was to get revenge on the monsters who kill people and my family away from me and im supposed to protect my new family,my home and the multiverse Apollo said.
Bradley looked thoughtful. "You don't say. What a coincidence.as He held his swords up. "It's almost poetic, two warriors fighting to the death."
Each of them managed to inflict various injuries on the other, but managed to avoid any killing blows.
Bradley's superhuman abilities began to take their toll, however, and he eventually had apollo pinned down. He stabbed his sword down to finish him off.
But before he could strike, apollo pressed his left hand to the ground, and several massive rock pillars jutted out of the ground, smacking into Bradley and knocking him back.
Bradley fell to the ground and looked at the rock pillars in astonishment.
Apollo slowly got to his feet. "You look surprised. I'd even say shocked." Took off his shield revealing a tattoo and his left arm ancient symbol on his arm.
"My family's circle of reconstruction. I've accepted both halves of creation and destruction!"
Bradley chuckled weakly. "You miserable life forms never give up, I'll give you that much."
Bradley and Apollo had resumed their duel, and Apollo had begun to use his power more extensively.
Bradley swiped at Apollo. Apollo dodged and sent a rock pillar at Bradley. But Bradley cut through the pillar and rushed at him.
your week Bradley yelled as slashed his sword and managed to cut apollo's eyes. Apollo winced in pain, but managed to kick Bradley away before he could strike again.
Bradley stumbled back, but quickly recovered.
apollo rushed forward even through he couldn't see, but Bradley avoided him and managed to toss him across the room. Apollo landed with a grunt of pain, but managed to get right back up.
then apollo sent several kai blast forward, while Bradley dodged them.
"Be honest with me, boy. During the death of your people, when you were surrounded by nothing but despair."
He leaped forward and managed to land on apollo's chest, pinning him to the ground and brandishing his sword above him.
"Surely somewhere in the darkest depths of your heart, you began to believe there was no God at all!"
Bradley raised his sword for the killing blow, but at that very second, the ghost of his wife appeared in front of him stopping him from doing the killing blow, Bradley flinched, and Apollo took the opportunity to use his death touch and grab Bradley's chest, mortally injuring him and destroying his arms.
Bradley and apollo both collapsed, both bleeding profusely from their various injuries.
Bradley stared up at the sun and chuckled weakly. "I myself have never believed in faith or God. If they exist, perhaps this is their way of divine justice."
He heard footsteps approaching and glanced up to see who it was. "And it seems they've sent an avenging angel to do the deed."
Kotoha took off her mask and looked down at Bradley furiously.
"Here to avenge your grandfather? Very well. Go ahead."
Kotoha clenched her fist. "Any last words you'd like to say?"
"None."
Kotoha looked at him in disgust. "Such a sad life. Tell me, Bradley, was there anyone who you loved?
Bradley remained silent.
Kotoha frowned. "Do you mean to say that you have nothing no regrets even for killing her and she was the only thing you loved…"
Bradley sighed. "Your trivial words of sorrow, love, and regret mean nothing to me, young lady. My wife understands. She is the woman that I chose to live by my side but i have no regrets killing her."
Kotoha grimaced, then gasped as she saw Bradley begin to age rapidly as his life force ebbed away.
Bradley chuckled. "And now you've wasted all your time asking useless questions and lost your opportunity for vengeance. What a shame."
He stared up at the sky. "I lived my life by forever following the path that had been set for me. Thanks to the idiosyncrasies of humanity, it was at least a life worth living for, and maybe even a life worth dying for."
He closed his eyes and moved no more, a peaceful expression on his face for the first and last time in his life.
Kotoha was silent for a moment, but then she noticed that Apollo was bleeding profusely.
She knelt down next to him. "You're eyes wounded. We need to get you to a healer."
Apollo shook his head. "No time. Take me to the center. I need…to activate…the circle beside i can heal quickly."
Kotoha nodded. "Very well."
When he reached the center, Apollo knelt down and held his hands out before him.
He placed his palms on the ground.
You spoke of positive streams and negative streams. Thanks to the life I have lived, I carry both within me.apollo as he activates his rinnegan then placed his hand on the circle then Five streams of energy began to flow outward from the center and all over the multiverse.
go help the others I'll go get more back up.apollo said as all his injuries then he opened a portal to hexside.
meanwhile.
nechros was regarding belos in rage, and Bue stood frozen as red alchemic energy flashed across the sky, activated by belos's counter-circle. It struck like lightning, hitting nechros squarely. He screamed as the energy coursed through his body, and korra watched in both fascination and horror.
The lightning stopped, and nechros staggered backwards with his hand on his chest. His entire being seemed to pulse, and he screamed in agony as a massive amount of energy shot from his body. The souls of the people of multiverse were released in a thick stream, flowing up and out of the building in search of their physical bodies.
korra realized with the spirits being released by below's circle that nerchos's Philosopher's Stone was losing a significant amount of power. Maybe it would weaken him enough so he'd be unable to contain the Avatar Spirit and the tailed beast. Maybe it would be enough for Raava and other tailed beast to break free.
Renewed hope coursed through her veins and, by sheer willpower, she pushed herself to her knees. The others supported korra and helped her the rest of the way up. Once on her feet, she felt confidence flood through her brain as she watched the souls continue to stream from nechros.
everyone remained beside korra with a steadying hand on her back, and the others were all scattered around the room, watching. Or listening, in rj's case.
"Raava!" Korra called as loud as she could and was rewarded when she saw the glowing outline of the spirit on his chest, responding to her cry. The flow of souls abated, and nechros looked down at Raava's outline in surprise and outrage.
"No!" Nechros growled passionately. "You will not take it, too!" He raised his hand and surprised everyone by airbending, but it was weak and poorly controlled. The air currents dissipated before they traveled far enough to do anything.
Raava's body glowed bright as she separated and immediately propelled herself toward korra. Nechros tried to reach out and grab the spirit, but the shortened tail left him grasping nothing but air.
Raava wasted no time and impacted korra's chest with enough force that she had to take a step back to steady herself. She closed her eyes, reveling in the sensations as the hole in her heart filled and Raava fused herself with her soul once more . The power and strength returned to her body, and she vaguely felt the wind whipping around her strongly then the tailed beast did the same thing and returned to their partners.
She heard Raava speak in relief, "We are one."
korra opened her eyes, and she knew they burned pure white as nechros looked at her, aghast. Bue was whispering to him, and her sharpened ears caught the words.
"There is one more chance to gain the power you seek. I can take you to the spirit, but I make no guarantees on his willingness to aid you."
nechros replied, "Show me."
korra had to stop them. Raising her fingers, she unleashed her wrath in a bolt of lightning aimed right at nechros. But Bue moved quick, and he swiped the homunculus up and threw him on his back. He dashed through the portal as her lightning just barely missed its target. Belos looked mortified.
She ran toward the portal. Luz followed her, and belos, kim,collector,Emily,king,Lilith,amity,willow,gus,hunter,anne,Sasha,marcy,Darrel,lucy,Lincoln,steven and eda all converged on the beams of light, too.
"avatar ," belos addressed her hurriedly, "We cannot allow him to hide in there…."
"He's not hiding." She cut him off and waved her hands. Belos jumped at the echoey sound of her voice. She came down out of the Avatar State as she continued, "He's going after Vaatu, to try to fuse himself with him. I have to stop him." Without waiting for a response, she stepped into the portal.
they emerged in the spirit world and found the portal surrounded by her spirit friends. A spirit trotted up to her, yelling in worry.
"Avatar! A spirit emerged just before you, bearing a human. They headed that way." He pointed with his antler. As he spoke, a spirit wolf had approached and flattened himself to his belly, anticipating her next move.
She moved to climb up to the wolf's back and the others went on its back as well.
The dragonfly bunnies were buzzing around in agitation, and the spirit wolfs paced, lowing anxiously. The colors had drained from the world, feeding off their emotions, and dark clouds had gathered overhead.
the spirit wolf saluted her by raising his hoof to his head. "I will guard this gate with my life, Avatar. Good luck."
the all saw the Tree of Time. It wouldn't be a long ride, especially on the back of a running spirit as large as he was, but she guessed it would still take several minutes to get there. The dragonfly bunnies flew to either side, keeping pace.
She hoped they arrived before Vaatu escaped. She honestly didn't think he would merge with Father, but nechros was desperate and would try anything he could to reclaim his lost power. Then again, Vaatu might be desperate, as well. Desperate enough to bind himself to a human.
they looked down into the valley where the Tree of Time stood. Vaatu was still inside it, and she could see Bue, who had grown exponentially upon entering the spirit world, standing before it. She couldn't see him, but nechros had to be there, too.
Raashu didn't slow as he made for the closest portal where a group of heroes stood. As he approached the portal he skidded to a stop, nearly crushing poor king as kim's body was thrown into him from the momentum. Korra jumped down and ran to the group as she registered multiple friendly faces.
"Mako! Bolin! Tenzin!" She hit them all in a group hug, which they returned heartily, if only briefly. Jinora was there, too, smiling with happy tears in her eyes.
Tenzin pulled out of the hug and grabbed her shoulders to command her undivided attention. "You've made it just in time, Harmonic Convergence is imminent. Who is that man down there?"
"He's the enemy and needs to be stopped at all costs." She responded, deciding that any other details were unnecessary at this point. The others came up behind her and gazed around at the strangers curiously.
The two portals pulsed, and as they all looked up to watch, the lights bent in an arc and fused together above the tree. A large shockwave reverberated as they joined, and the energy was flashing across the atmosphere threateningly. The sky turned a dark, sinister purple.
"Uh, korra," Bolin pointed down towards the tree. They were close enough to make out nechros's figure facing it, most likely trying to talk Vaatu into merging with him. Bue was nowhere to be seen. "Where'd the croc bear thingy go?"
"We can worry about him later, Bolin." Mako said sternly. "All that matters right now is the Convergence."
The merged portals sparked, and lighting flashed to strike the Tree beneath the apex. She watched, alarmed, as a massive explosion sent a shockwave of energy rushing towards them. Everyone bowed their heads and raised their arms, shielding themselves as the energy rolled past. A sickening laugher echoed around the valley, and she looked up to find Vaatu towering over them all.
He appeared similar to Raava, but his coloring was black and red instead. His body size was much larger than hers had been, too; he must be at least thirty feet in height. His tail extended twice that length behind him, coiled and twisted, as he floated above the ground. His deep, intimidating voice reverberated loudly as it bounced off the surrounding mountainous terrain.
"Raava, nothing could stop this moment. Harmonic Convergence is upon us again."
She stepped forward to separate herself from the group. "I won't let you fuse with nechros! I'm going to put you right back in your prison for another ten thousand years!"
Vaatu didn't reply. Instead, he performed a backward loop, aiming towards nechros, who waited with open arms for the dark spirit. She jumped forward and kicked flame at Vaatu to push him away from nechros. Spinning her body, she airbent Father and threw him up and over her head and past her friends to slam him into the terrain beyond.
"Keep him away from Vaatu!" She shouted to anyone who was listening, then she turned to face the spirit.
Gathering water from the many rivers around the portal, she propelled herself forward with a waterspout. She felt her blood pulse as she entered the Avatar State; she knew she needed all the power she could get. Vaatu was charging her, too, on a collision course.
Bending the earth beneath him upwards in a sharp spike, she deflected his attack and sent him up and away. He circled back as she took some more water and threw a frozen spear. His body distorted itself to avoid the missile easily. His tendrils reached out to grab her and threw her down on to the ground, knocking the wind out of her lungs.
Heaving to catch her breath, she stood and immediately began jumping and kicking to send air and earth volleys at him as he closed the distance. He avoided them all by either dodging or morphing his shape. He was getting dangerously close; she bent the water beneath her feet into a wave and rode it to the side to flank him. He followed her progress easily and shot a thick beam of dark energy flaring straight from the center of his body. His attack missed, but barely.
Still riding her wave, she earthbent a large boulder up and over her head. She heard the menacing sound of the energy beam again as it disintegrated the boulder and hit her square in the chest, sending her flying backwards and sliding on the ground as she landed. Her momentum was finally stopped by a jagged outcropping, which smacked the back of her head hard.
Momentarily stunned, her eyes tried to focus and blink away the blurriness. Vaatu closed in, extending his tentacles. She could hear his voice echoing in her ears, taunting her.
She was saved at the last minute as the ground before her heaved and smacked the spirit hard, sending him reeling backwards. Boulders flew from her left to pummel Vaatu's surprised body.
Searching for the source, she watched Bolin as he furiously earthbent flying boulders in her defense. Luz was beside him, clapping her hands and sending his alchemy rippling through the ground once again to send another spike of earth up at the dark spirit. Vaatu roared in anger at the intrusion.
She was horrified as Vaatu turned his attention to them and moved to attack. Her head having cleared now, she stood and firebent rockets beneath her feet and flew over to intercept him. Bolin and luz were holding their ground valiantly, but she knew they were no match for the dark spirit. She couldn't allow them to get hurt.
She hit Vaatu at the last second in a flying, fiery punch, deflecting his momentum to the side and safely away from her friends. She landed in front of them and scolded furiously, "Stay out of this! I can't fight him and protect you, too!"
"Geez, how about 'thanks for saving me, Bolin'?" Her earthbender friend replied sarcastically.
She didn't have time to answer since Vaatu was coming around behind them for another attack. She had to draw him away from her friends. Firebending beneath her feet again, she flew backwards while throwing fireballs at Vaatu. He headed straight for her, ignoring Bolin and luz by flying right over them. She landed on top of a boulder and aimed for what she thought was his core. She shot lightning as strong and hot as she could.
She was mildly shocked when he couldn't dodge in time, but he was able to move enough that she didn't hit her intended target. But it was still a hit, and he grunted as the energy coursed through him. His body sparked as the electricity dissipated.
That was the first reaction of pain that he'd shown this entire battle. She smiled to herself, thinking that perhaps she'd found a weakness to exploit.
His tendrils were reaching for her again, and she blasted them away with strong air gusts. She bent the water and shot three ice spears at him in a row, and as he moved to avoid them, she again summoned the lightning.
He dodged the shot completely and retaliated with another beam of dark energy. She bent the earth beneath her feet upwards and sent herself flying over the beam and towards Vaatu. Twisting in midair, she picked up water and earth from below and sent them straight at her enemy.
The projectiles punched holes through his body, but he repaired himself quickly. As she landed on the ground before him, he threw his tendrils into the earth and split the terrain below her feet into a chasm.
The move caught her off guard, and she fell down into the hole and found herself wedged and unable to move. She could see him staring down at her as his tendrils wrapped around her body. His core was changing color, and she knew he was about to hit her with another beam of energy.
"I have been waiting for this exact moment for the past ten thousand years. Your reign is over, Raava!"
She couldn't let him hit her with his dark beam, especially not at this close range. She concentrated hard and focused her energy to spit a tornado of fire at him. Vaatu growled in surprise as the fire pushed him up and away from her, and his tendrils receded. The flames had blasted enough of the earth around her that she was able to get her body unwedged, and she airbent herself up and out of the chasm.
"You will not win!" She was surprised when Raava spoke through her, taunting her rival.
He reached to grab her again, but she retaliated relentlessly with consistent shots of all four elements. She created another wave of water and moved around him, dodging his reaching tendrils as she continued to harry him with earth and fire volleys. She watched his core glow, and at the last second, she jumped away from her wave and twisted in midair as the beam passed underneath her harmlessly. Extending her hand, she put everything she had into a explosion of lightning right at his core.
This time she hit her target. His body sparked at the impact, and she heard him growl in pain. As the electricity flashed, she quickly airbent a sphere around him, trapping him inside. Sustaining the vortex, she added the other three elements in spinning circles to complete the elemental sphere. She moved her captive towards the Tree slowly and carefully, concentrating hard so as not to lose the upper hand. Vaatu was frozen inside her trap, unable to move.
Upon reaching the Tree, she pushed him inside its hollow and it immediately released a shockwave as the barrier closed. Vaatu was confined once more.
"I will see you again in ten thousand years, Raava! And next time, I will prevail! I will unleash my vengeance on you!" His deep voice was outraged as he spoke, and she thought she could feel the hatred within her own being, so strong it was.
It was over. She released a deep sigh. They had won. But abruptly, she realized the battle wasn't quite complete. They still had to deal with nechros.
korra pulled herself out of the Avatar State as she rushed over to the group gathered by the portal, dimly noting that it was no longer merged with the other. she didn't see any sign of nechros.
Tenzin had a relieved smile on his face. "You did it, korra. The threat of Vaatu is gone for another ten thousand years."
She ignored his praise and addressed luz. "Where's nechros ?"
"I think he's headed back to boiling isles. He can barely contain the power he's got, so we think he's going to try to create another Philosopher's Stone.."
"Let's go stop him."
Together they approached the waiting the spirit wolf, who lowered himself to accommodate them.
together they raced back to the portal to Amestris.
As they crested the mountain on spirit wolf's back, he tried to take in the scene below. He could see a group of people standing at the nearest portal, and he thought he could see nechros with Bue beside a large tree.
They descended the mountain quickly, stopping short to meet the group at the portal. Korra jumped down and the others slid down off the wolf's back and approached the group. Then through the portal to go back to the words of bending.
They hurtled back to the boiling isles portal.

They emerged back in boiling isles, and they saw that the eclipse is happening; they were the center of bonesborough, and they barely got a look at nechros before he sent a massive blast of energy at them. Korra raised her hands and pushed back with an airbend, deflecting the wave to the sky and above them.
The blast was powerful; it lasted long enough that she felt her energy dissipating. She found herself struggling to keep the air shield up. But she had to hang on, she forced herself to. This kind of power would kill them instantly, she could feel it. It was too strong. Yelling out in frustration, she kept pushing.
kim raised her hands as nechros blasted at them, shielding herself from the light. It was so bright he couldn't bear to open her eyes but Kim's shield failed, but she also felt no pain from the raw energy nechros was throwing at them, which he found strange. Maybe Bolin or korra had been able to earthbend a shield at the last minute? He hadn't had time to transmute anything, himself.
The blast lasted for what felt like several minutes but was probably a lot less than that. As it finally faded, he lowered his arms and opened his eyes, only to find a terrible sight.
Darrel was there, kneeling with his arms extended protectively in front of kim, who looked unharmed. She was screaming at him as his armor damaged to the ground, half destroyed. Eda had done the same with king and luz; she knelt frozen before them, eyes closed and her right gone green lantern ring on the ground near ash which was her arm, having shielded them from the massive blast. And korra stood before her and Bolin, arms thrust forward as her airbent shield dissolved, and with a groan she fell to her hands and knees.
"korra!" Belos and Bolin shouted in unison and knelt next to her.
"I'm fine." Eda mumbled. "Just need to catch my breath."
belos stood and surveyed the rest of the devastation. An entire portion of the right side of the titans behind them was obliterated. the broken sections were simply gone, incinerated to dust by the blast.
nechros stood nearby and raised his hand menacingly. Red alchemy sparked from his fingers, and suddenly luz couldn't breathe anymore.
He brought his hands to his throat, clawing at his airway. Her lungs were starting to burn as she fell to his knees, and she saw out of the corner of her eye that Bolin was choking, too. His lungs burned hotter, and his heart pumped faster as it fought to keep him alive. His vision was starting to go dark at the edges…
Suddenly the pressure was released, and he took in choking gasps and coughed as the fresh air rushed down to his relieved lungs. Luz took several deep breaths, attempting to steady herself. Gunshot rang in the air, and she looked around to find the source.
korra saw robbie in his ghost rider form shooting his at nechros, and saw skara,apollo,twilight,starlight,cabba and the coven heads moving to position themselves around surround him. They had spell circles,weapons and powers were launching those freely. He noticed Bolin trying to help korra up, so he leaned down and wrapped one of her arms around his shoulder, and together they moved to the edge of the courtyard and out of the line of fire. They joined Mako and eda as they stood watching their alies' assault.
Ayana seemed to have recovered; she could stand on her own, at least. A massive blast caught their attention and they saw the fire force and elsa across the courtyard. Shinra Kusakabe was using his fire powers,
"Woah! Was that firebending?" Mako asked, awestruck.
"Eh. You could say that." Korra replied with a smirk.
"We need to make him burn out his Philosopher's Stone!" Luz shouted at everyone, and they nodded.
They watched as the others were attacking nechros. Kotoha was throwing paper bombs,Elsa was send ice shards and starlight was sending magic blast from her horn. Mako twisted his body, sending flames at nechros, and Bolin followed suit with his earthbending. Korra followed up with some fire and air of her own. Eda clapped and made a cannon, blasting cannonballs in quick succession. Luz clapped her own hands to rock the ground and send pillars towards Father.
All the attacks were blocked by nechros's alchemy shield.
"It's no use! That shield of his is impenetrable!" Mako shouted.
"Greed!" Korra yelled, and luz followed her gaze to watch greed jump into the action and throw a punch at nechros. Everyone paused their attacks as his arm penetrated through nechros's skin and into his head, where it was apparently stuck.
"You're just in time, Greed. You see, I could use another Philosopher's Stone. I'll be taking yours." Nechros said calmly.
"No, you won't! You can't take it without lowering your shield! So now, I'll take your power from you. I want it all!" Greed screeched excitedly as he and nechros struggled.
Emily ran forward and aimed a punch for nechros, but nechros thrust her hand out and blasted her back. He watched several others go in for hits of their own. Nechros raised barriers from the ground as the attacks came, defending himself while still fighting Greed, who's arm was still imbedded in his body.
luz charged nechros again and noticed Darius rushing in to his right, and skara coming in from the other side. Seeing the three-sided attack, nechros released a concussive blast that forced everything around him backwards, including Greed.
Amity ran in again, jumping up and swinging her abomination fist. Nechros blocked the blow, but he used his arm, not his alchemy shield. Nechros threw him backwards and sent him sprawling on the ground. He scrambled back to his feet and watched as nechros's body shook uncontrollably. He was leaking a black smoke-like substance, and his body flashed in red alchemy.
"He's losing control!" Belos shouted from somewhere to his left. "He can't control the power of god anymore!"
nechros screamed and writhed, and the amount of energy sparking from his body increased. He tried to hold the power in, but was unable, and ended up releasing it in a powerful explosion. The blast sent everyone flying. Luz lost sight of her friends in the light, and he felt himself tumbling through the air.
The blast sent korra flying backwards, and she could hear Mako and Bolin as they shrieked, too. The red flashing light was too bright to see anything, so she kept her eyes scrunched shut as she felt herself land on the concrete and roll to a stop.
After the light faded, she moaned at the pain as she sat up and assessed the situation. Mako and Bolin were both nearby, sitting up and rubbing their sore bodies. Others weren't too far away to her right, and she could see the others scattered around the area.
"You know, I was planning to just let you all slowly die in the promise day, but I like this more. I'll personally deliver you all to your Mak-!" Nechros began, only to be cut off by Lincoln tossing a potion bottle at him. He parried it with his staff, making it hit the floor and shatter, producing a thick smoke. Lincoln then ran at him, tossing another potion with one hand and launching a fireball from his staff with the other. Nechros summoned a green worm monster to devour them both, though it promptly exploded.
"Don't let him talk our ears off! Put him down hard and fast! He won't show us mercy, so don't show him anyway!" Lincoln shouted, getting close enough to nechros to coat his fist in fire and try to punch him. Nechros turned his body partially to sludge to avoid the punch, then held lincoln's throat with his snake and yanked him into the air.
"I'll rip you in half boy!" Nechros growled, aiming the tip of his staff at the top of Lincoln head.
Skara gasped and used a wind spell and a blast of sonic magic from a stomp of her foot to launch herself at nechros and Lincoln, landing on his shoulder and releasing Melody (who turned into cricket mode) so she could grab and hold back nechros's staff with both hands. She then found her feet beginning to sink into nechros as he started turning himself into mush.
"EVERYONE, COVER YOUR EARS!" Skara commanded. Everyone obeyed as Skara cast a spell to deafen herself, then she used her sonic scream to created a sound so loud that nechros screamed in pain, unable to cover his ears since both were occupied. Eventually he let go of his staff (allowing Skara to take it) as well as Lincoln, the latter of whom nechros's snaked tossed. He then grabbed Skara and smashed her into the ground, stopping her whistle and making her cry out in pain.
"SKARA!" gus cried as he used his staff to fly towards his girlfriend.
nechros snarled and snatched his staff from the dazed Skara's hand, then shot a red blast at gus. Hunter used his flash step to zip towards gus and pull him out of the way, while nechros found his legs being wrapped in tree roots, which Willow had grown and snaked under the ground to grab him. The roots stretched up his body and then stabbed into his torso and cutting off the snake as well as impaling him as he screamed and let go of Skara. Hunter zipped to her and grabbed her, before throwing the girl to gus and then spinning around and smashing his staff into nechros' face, using a little lightning magic to zap the corrupted man. Nechros screamed in pain and anger, and turned his body to sludge to escape the roots, then reformed behind Willow and tried to hit her with red lightning.
Willow screamed in agony and hit the ground, while all her friends appeared to watch on in horror… at least until more tree roots suddenly speared him through the chest, seemingly growing out of Willow herself. Belos cried out in pain, then growled irritably then Gus had made them all invisible and replaced them with illusions while nechros had been escaping the first set of roots.
"Infernal tricksters!" Nechros roared, pulling himself free from the roots and allowing his slimy body to regenerate. "I'll purge you all!"
He raised his staff to release an omni-directional blast of magic, but some abomination slime produced by Amity shot out and wrapped around the head of his staff, absorbing the blast (albeit while still being blown apart). Nechros snarled and began shooting lightning in random directions, coming very close to hitting a few of the realm defenders, until Darrel managed to get behind him and smash him in the back of the legs with his mace. Nechros collapsed to his knees with a groan, then darrel reared back his fist, hardened with Magic, and socked nechros right in the face. His blow hit with so much force that nechros' slimy head actually flew off his shoulders and bounced off, then it disgustingly reformed into a small, sludgy skull with two skinny arms.
"Okay, that's gross as heck!" Darrel shuddered, watching the rest of nechros' body melt into slime and try to reach the head.
"Don't let him get away!" Anne cried, as she shoot a bolt of lightning at nechros' head while both Amity,kim,apollo,korra,mako,lucy(using her orical spirit to blast fire),sasha and the fire force shot fire at the rest of him.hunter,the collector,amity and Lilith shot lightning at him,while deon,king and Skara fired sonic blast,gus summoned blue eyes ultimate dragon and it attacked,Lincoln fired acid and goku,kim,maria,ash,Emily and luz all fired a kamehameha
enough nechros shouted as he sent a shockwave at them knocking everyone away except luz and kim.
The two sisters staring at nechros and luz charges at him, nechros using his new Limbo technique has just like madara uchia but then luz dodges making even her surprised.
"I dodged it."luz said.
kim then uses a rasengan hitting Madara against the tree.
luz summons his belt."Henshin!"she transforms into kamen rider witch earth form and charges foward with her Keyblade.
she teleports next to nechros switching places with a shadow clone.
nechros got slashed away and kicked back, witch then saw mysticon demon tactician jump to his side and said:"ryou."
"Looks like your doing well."ryou said.
kim uses Kurama's chakra to make the cloak and it was now different compared to the other versions.
kim takes out her staffs made and charges at nechros making a clash with her friends helping out too as they fight him back.
kim makes many clones as they started to hit nechros many times and he grunts.
nechros shoots a beam from his mouth but witch cuts through it before slashing at Madara making him scream.
ryou punches at nechros many times before slashing him away, ryou teleports behind nechros again and kicks him towards the castle.
kim makes a massive rasenshuriken made of magma and throws it making causing nechros pain.
Luz put on a glove with a reverse human transmutation circle placed it on nechros head causing him to scream in pain but it didn't kill him it caused him to destabilizes into a red-and-black-veny-like substance that turns him into a deformed, skeletal creature with disproportionately long limbs that constantly with wings a tail, accompanied by various multi colored eyes covering his body, and two horns that resemble those of his mask. The only human features he retains are his hair, which turns grey, his blue eyes, which now have black sclera, and crooked teeth.
"I need to defeat them."nechros takes out the dark energem then absorbs it into his body and charges at them and then the coven head arrive. "THAT'S FOR HURTING MY FRIENDS!" Everyone turned to the source of the anger filled voice and saw none other than the head of the plant coven herself, nari said.
Not a second later, nechros's free arm was pinned down by a figure made from abomination goo.
"Missed me?" Asked the head of the abomination coven, Darius Deamonne.
Hunter smiled seeing Darius up and running.
Then, they heard an angry growl before a small beastly figure jumped onto nechros's face and began biting as their tamed fleas did the same.
It was the head of the beast keeping track, Eberwolf.
nechros tried to free himself once more, but a knife to the arm quickly stopped that attempt. A knife thrown by the head of the healing coven, Hettie Cutburn.
nechros tried to roar, but he was quickly put into a choke hold by Mason, the head of the construction coven.
He tried looking for a way out, but the world looked as dark and bleak as it could and that's because nechros fell into an illusion of a dark room where he couldn't see what was happening to him.
"Nuh-uh, can't ruin the surprise." It was a spell cast by the head of the illusion coven, scarlet witch.
Suddenly, a thunderstorm was whipped up and struck nechros's with its lighting using a beautiful tune played by the head of the bard coven, Raine Whispers...assisted by Edalyn Clawthorne due to having only one hand which made Luz very happy.
The pain from the thunderstorm cause nechros to roar before oracle spirits filled his mouth and kept it as open as possible.
It was the work of the new head of the oracle coven, Melissa.
As nechros's mouth was kept open, someone appeared and shoved a bag of potions into it. Potions that caused nechros severe pain and anguish.
It was the work of the new head of the potions coven, zecora.
then a blast of magic hit nechros,It was the work of the new head of the alchemy coven, starlight glimmer.
nechros quickly recovered then began to charge at Starlight but was hit by a kai blast from goku head of the kai coven.As the coven heads worked to keep nechros contained.
Apollo turned into kamen rider Ryuki.
then kamen rider witch appears drives her vicehical foward, nechros sees them coming and Decade turns around blasting nechros with the flames from the back hitting him away.
"Alright!"kim makes a ransenshuriken, hunter his new raikiri and eda powers up a punch.
Ryuki inserts the card on the driver.
