Alright, here is chapter 2 of the 'Altered Destiny' fic, and I really am thinking of in need of a better title.

So I know some of you want to know the pairings (Please spare me) but I will say it again, No spoilers.

I've got to mention that the characters are aged up, to two years or so to make things more comfortable to work with. Given in this world its quiet different in traditions.

All questions are allowed to be asked in the reviews, but please be polite.

Enjoy the fic!

The Southern Water Tribe had changed during the Hundred-Year War. That was an undisputed fact.

Walking through the small entrance, Naruto was seen entering the tiny village that was surrounded by a low, roughly circular snow wall that had seen its improvements lately. With a watchtower build also with the only other male in the village.

The conditions that these poor folks were living were quite abysmal, with before Naruto came here there used to be mostly residential tents that the villagers lived in, but now there were mostly igloos that replaced them that were just big enough that allowed the few families to live in comfortable, with the biggest igloo being the one that stood there for a few years now. Where usually, each week, the communal get-together would take place-

And today was that day, talk about good timing. As the storm was withering down, he could see the lights inside the big building-

*Throw!*

A snowball got thrown and it looked like it was going to hit Naruto from behind, until he then sways his head to the left, making the snowball fail to hit him.

"Nice try, kids." Naruto turned his head around with a eye smile. "Better luck next time-Ugh!"

What he wasn't prepared for was that two small bodies jumped up to tackle him, with the bigger one jumping into his arms while the smaller one jumped to his legs to pull him down, to which it was a success.

"We got him!"

"Yay! We win!"

Naruto raised his head up as he couldn't help but laugh at the two girls who managed to tackle him, with recognizing the both of them, both were sisters and were from a tiny inland village east from here.

"Siku, Sura."

"Big brother Naruto, you're back!" The small Sura with her pigtails stood up and hugged Naruto on the side with her head snuggled against his coat. "We missed you!"

Chuckling, he patted the small Sura's head and smiled. "I was just gone for a few days, no worry."

"But we missed you." Siku, the older of the two said smiling at him. "So we wanted to surprise you, what did you think of our Water bending snowballs?"

"Snowballs, you say?"

The two girls stepped off and walked a few feet backwards before they started extending their hands out, both at the same time, as they then raised their arms up and there they show it:

A large amount of snow was seen levitating and it was forming into a large singular snowball that was properly made, and it was hovering into one round smooth looking ball.

They were indeed water benders, and not bad ones neither. And Naruto had to give it to them.

"Impressive, very impressive." Naruto complimented them. "I will say that-Oh!"

The girls dropped the snowball over Naruto as he fell backwards, getting the full load on top of him as he's buried underneath it with his arms and legs sticking out.

Both sisters laughed at their own trick as they were genuinely happy to have finally caught Naruto in their own little scheme.

"Yes! We finally pranked Naruto!" Sura said to her sister in joy, holding her hands. "We did it!"

"Yeahh! We actually did!" Siku smiled and turned to the snow and she stopped celebrating. "Uhm…"

Naruto was gone from the spot, leaving the girls to wonder where he was as they were beginning to look around.

"Where is he?"

"I don't know-"

Appearing out from the snow behind the two girls, surprising them.

"Gotcha now!"

The two girls squealed from the surprise but then laughed at how Naruto was swinging around with them under his arms, as he got them once again by surprise.

"Okay! Okay! You win!"

"But next time we will get you!"

Naruto smiled as he puts the two girls back down on the ground, just as then someone was heard yelling.

"Everyone come!" A woman standing at the entrance of the main igloo shouted. "Supper is ready!"

Smiling at that, the three went on to walk towards the entrance with Naruto's nose picking up the smell he really liked.

"Smells like my favorite is being made… Let's go eat!"

Inside the largest igloo of the small village. The interior had also gone through an change that was welcomed by everyone, as it was definitely warmer inside. With the warmest item present inside of it is the large pot.

And inside that pot were noodles, Ramen noodles that were being prepared with the finest temperature with the person cooking it shouting to the folks behind her:

"The Noodles are ready, everyone!"

Around that pot of noodles was a large circle where all the people of the village were sitting. All in a good mood, the people of this small village were mainly women and children, with a few of the elderly who were there and a pair of teenagers.

One of those teenagers had his eyes focused on the freshly prepared slices of meat that were irresistible to look at, with the smell alone making his fingers itch for only just one.

"Tasty~"

*SLAP!*

"Ouch!" The young man yanked his hand back in pain. "Gran Gran, why?"

The one who just got hit by a stick, was Sokka. The young seventeen-year-old who was the sole male of the Southern Water Tribe, looking like an well build young man with an Wolftail knot ponytail, he was the only teenage male of the village who at the time was too young to join the war with the rest of the warriors that included his father. Given the task to look after the village in their absence now for a few years now…

"Wait until the rest of the village is here. Sokka. I didn't raise my grandson without manners."

But the real power laid in the hands of this old person, the frail looking but wise elderly woman who happened to be the grandmother of the young man Sokka. Her name was Kanna, but everyone called her Gran Gran.

"Come on, Gran Gran. I just wanted to have one slice." Sokka said, rubbing his hand. "I was training out there all day."

"Playing soldier, you mean." The person cooking the noodles joked as she added. "I can do that too if I wasn't washing your clothes as usual."

"Damn it Katara-"

*SLAP!*

"Oh!" Sokka felt his face after getting slapped across of it. "Gran Gran!"

"No cussing against your sister." Kanna warned her grandson again before turning. "Katara, is the food ready?"

Talking to her granddaughter and Sokka' younger sister, the young beautiful girl who was seen making the main dish of ramen noodles. Her name like mentioned before was Katara, and she was one heck of a girl.

Like everybody in the Southern Water Tribe, she has brown hair that were in two loopies with the rest of her hair hidden underneath the coat she wore. Her eye color is blue as the water in its clearest form. Wearing her blue traditional water tribe clothing, she was anything but traditional.

She wasn't someone who didn't help the village. She helped with the clothes, the food to even having helped to give birth to some of the village's children who were running around at this moment, having taken her roles in the village even before she reached her sixteenth birthday. As she was forced to grow up faster than others after her mother died, of whom's necklace she was currently wearing.

Only a year younger than her brother Sokka, she was the more mature one. Thanks to circumstances.

"We're back!"

Announcing his return, everyone turned to the entrance and saw Siku and Sura running inside the igloo and were getting greeted by their friends, with even some of the elderly women laughing at them entering.

And it was then when Naruto walked in, seen pushing the snow off his coat in the view of everyone seeing him.

"Everyone, Naruto's back!" Siku said. "Let's pile up on him!"

Naruto couldn't react in time as he found himself getting pilled up by all the children of the village. Grabbing onto his arms and limbs that nearly made it impossible for him to move as they overwhelmed him with questions.

"Where were you?"

"Did you catch something?"

"Why were you going away?"

"Did you see the Otter Penguins today? One bred an egg!"

"Enough, children. Leave Naruto alone for now." Gran Gran said as she walked over. "It's time to eat."

The kids groaned but listened to the elder as they went back to sit at their mothers or grandmothers' sides, knowing not to anger Gran Gran as they experienced her discipline once. She took the moment to then go and embrace Naruto in a hug that he happily accepted.

"Welcome back to the village, Naruto."

"Good to be back, Gran Gran." Naruto replied happily holding the old lady in his arms before making distance. "Hope everything went already while I was gone for the few days."

"Oh, nothing really bad happened while you were gone meditating, dear." Gran Gran stated with her normal neutral face. "Besides from Sokka trying to train the children, with no success of course."

"That I can believe!"

Popping out of the blue coat of Naruto was a small, nine-tailed orange furred animal that resemble a fox, but was in actuality a Kitsune with black fur around its red eyes that stretch up to its ears. This was Kurama, and he was sitting right on top of Naruto's blond hair.

"Kurama, hush!"

"What? It's true. It's an funny sight to see that moron trying to have some sort of control over those children."

"Uhm, hello…" Sokka was sitting and raised his hand up sarcastically at that comment. "I'm sitting right here, you know?"

Kurama responded. "That's the point." Snickering at the Water Tribe teenage boy, this was his favorite pastime activity.

"Be quiet now, alright?" Naruto warned him. "Or else I'll let Sura and Siku play with you."

Kurama's ears twitched at that and growled down at Naruto.

"You wouldn't dare…"

Naruto's eyes just looked up with a slight frown that turned into a smug grin.

"Make me."

"Fine, you win." Kurama said as he hopped down to the ground and made way to his usual spot to eat next to Sokka.

"Move a little bit."

"Don't think you can order me around. Furball." Sokka responded to him, glaring at him. "I still do not like you…"

"Nor do I like you…"

"Let's eat!"

With a full feast going on, everyone in the village was seen in a circle while congregating and eating. Naruto himself was seated in between Gran Gran and Katara.

Having been living in the South Pole for a good year and a half, Naruto is well acquainted in the village, as a well-mannered, hard-working and fair young man who assimilated and became a part of the community. From helping to build up homes to even going out on fishing trips to even bringing herbs and medical equipment to the other smaller settlements across the Pole.

His arrival at first was met with fear from many but skepticism from Sokka, who understandable was the only male to been tasked to protect his people. A task he promised his father who has gone to fight alongside the Earth Kingdom against the Fire Nation.

Naruto understood that fear and knew that as an outsider he needed to earn their trust and be committed to work, to which he did successfully. Having himself now seated in the circle as he was eating his bowl of Ramen.

Having emptied it in a moment, Naruto smiled in delight as he suddenly found himself being offered another bowl that was being held in front of him by none other than Katara.

"You want another?" She asked smilingly at him. "I know at this point you eat more than two bowls of it."

Naruto smiled back at her and said. "Thank you, Katara."

He accepted the bowl of ramen from Katara, but it happened that both their hands briefly touched one another. Getting them to lightly blush at the touch that they both tried to hide as fast as they could, with luckily for them most people having not noticed it. Not even Sokka or Kurama-

"You two act like a couple already." Gran Gran commented while drinking from her cup. "Can I expect you to make her a necklace anytime soon?"

"Gran Gran!" Naruto/Katara both shouted, quite embarrassed as they turned away from each other briefly.

At this point everyone in the igloo already was amused or either giggling at this teasing. Except for, of course, Sokka himself who narrowed his eyes.

"Ugh, you two are giving me the oogies." Sokka said before he quickly ducked his head by the incoming empty bowel that was thrown at him. "Hey!"

Kurama was laughing as he stopped eating for a moment, before he then felt an tinsel being thrown at him by an fuming Katara.

"You two… Why can't you act normal for once!?" A red Katara shouted at them. "You're oldest in here, Sokka!"

Naruto tried to play peacemaker. "Now please, Katara-"

Turning back around, Katara just gave Naruto the dead eye glare - causing Naruto to know what to do.

"Nevermind." Naruto said backing down, slight sweat dropping as he held his hands up before lowering them down again.

This didn't help their case as the rest of the villagers only giggled at the two, as if they really were acting like a couple about to be married.

It was at this point even Naruto and Katara couldn't help but look at each other and then to join along the laughter.

Laughter, happy times and good company. Something that was very precious in these times of war.

Night

As the snowstorm had settled down for now, many of the local residents had returned to their own homes, with the children sure by now sleeping early as the moon was shinning in the night sky with no clouds in sight anymore.

But there were still two persons out there, awake and-

*TCHK!*

*CLASH!*

In the middle of the town square, Sokka grunted as he was forced back while carrying both his Jaw Blade and his traditional white club that he was holding in a battle stance.

What was he doing? Sparring with Naruto who was carrying only his kunai knife that he had on him, going on the offensive as he was testing Sokka's abilities.

"You've improved, but I see holes in your defense." Naruto informed him as he ran for him. "Think quick!"

Sokka reacted and-

*CLANK!*

Blocking Naruto's kunai, Sokka did that with his Jaw Blade, but then was too late to raise his club up as Naruto's leg kicked right into chest, kicked backwards into the snow.

Sokka groaned as ended up defeated. Ending this training session, and yet again laying defeated in a fight against Naruto.

"Ugh…" The Water Tribe young man rubbed his head before he saw a hand offered to him, by Naruto.

"You did good, ten minutes." Naruto smiled with a compliment.

Sokka smiled and accepted the hand and was pulled upwards as they shook hands. As they both over the years had grown a good friendship that they both appreciated.

"Sokka, Naruto."

The two young men turned to see that it was Gran Gran who was approaching them, seen rather annoyed at something.

"We're low on food apparently, The polar dog ate from the basket again. It was left open…" She said with her eyes narrowed. "So you two and Katara will be going out to fish. I hope there is no problem with that."

"No, no Gran Gran, no problem with us." Sokka said picking up his weapons. "We'll do that."

"Good. Now get some rest."

Without the thick winter coat in the way, Naruto could see that Katara had started to develop as a woman. Not just mentally and emotionally, but physically as well. Her slender figure was starting to fill out a bit in all the right places and it honestly left his mouth a little dry.

The Tungusic robe she wore was still the same she wore from over two years ago, showing it to be a little cramped up against the sides of her hips, torso and legs to an extent. Showing her body from her sleeveless arms to her brown boots.

Either she didn't notice or she had forgotten the time, but Naruto then had just walked into his own home. But when she turned around to start the fireplace, she was met with Naruto there, and noticed the look he was giving her.

"Oh, you're here." Katara said, slightly startled but then smiled. "I didn't hear you come in, Naruto."

Naruto quickly, quickly covered his mouth and said. "Sorry, Katara I-"

"No, no, no. Don't mind me." Katara said as she grabbed her coat again and was putting it on. "I needed to go back to my own place anyway, warm it up."

Walking past Naruto, she then happened to stop right behind him, both their backs turned to one another, they couldn't see the blushes on their faces. She whispered

"Sleep tight…" She said smiling innocently before walking out the entrance.

Now that she was gone, Naruto's coat moved again and Kurama was seen jumping out of his sleeve and running close to the fire to warm himself up.

"Ohhh! Nice! Dry fur!"

Now that most of the village was asleep, only Naruto was still awake within his own igloo, as he now was sitting by the fire in his sleeping back with Kurama sleeping close to the warm light himself.

While not exactly sitting, Naruto was in his meditation stance as he had his winter coat off, wearing a shirt on as he was reading some scrolls, some messaging scrolls - secret messaging scrolls, as these had the seal of the organization that Naruto had sworn his allegiance to a few years ago.

Its mark was that of the Order of the White Lotus.

Having itself sworn to secrecy, Naruto made sure to keep it that way like many others of the members of this society that was devoted to its goals. He made sure to make regular mediation trips, solo hunting for food or just walking in between small settlements to deliver supplies, which he was given time to gather the messaging hawks and birds that were sent to him in one specific area that they could make the drop or pick up.

Now reading the last message scroll from one of the highest members of the White Lotus, Naruto was given news he was glad to be given.

Member Uzumaki.

I hope this message reaches you as I am inclined to warn you a Fire Nation ship is reported to have made its course towards the South Pole.

This ship is not part of the Southern Raiders nor is it part of a military operation. This is of dire knowledge that you know that this ship contains the Prince of the Fire Nation, Zuko. who is still on the hunt for the Avatar.

So I advise you to be cautious in the following days, and that you are advised to destroy all evidence of your connection to the White Lotus in case of your discovery.

May Peace and Knowledge be given upon you, and good luck.

The Order of the White Lotus.

Reading that, Naruto took upon the advice and closed the scroll before he then threw it into the fire as instructed, leaving no trace of it as the fire consumed the paper message.

Kurama's eyes opened up as he yawned asking. "White Lotus scroll?"

"Yes."

"Does it mention me in it?"

"Of course not."

"... Any messages from your old friends around the world?"

"... Not since over a year, Kurama." Naruto responded as he sighed. "Besides, correspondence with the White Lotus alone is dangerous enough, no need to have further risks."

"Alright, that's your funeral." Kurama yawned and was close to sleep. "Good night…"

"Good night."

Naruto laid back into his sleeping bag and closed his eyes, knowing exactly what Kurama talked about. It was of his many friends he made across the world in the years before his arrival here. All across the globe from all background.

Some of whom he could not say properly goodbye, with others worse…

Life was not easy, not even in this world.

Next Day

After a whole morning now walking miles away from the village, the small group of Naruto, Katara, Sokka and Kurama were now all four on the cameo they brought along with them and had started their fishing trip off the shore.

Having entered some deep waters, they now were in good fishing territory with Sokka sitting on the front as he lead the hunt, while Kurama was seen laying on the nets seen taking a nap all the while Naruto was sitting in the middle facing Katara, with only time on their hands.

The silence soon broke when a swimming fish was spotted right next to them, and it was the same fish that escaped Sokka a few moments ago.

"It's not getting away from me this time." Sokka said holding his spear up smiling with confidence. "Watch and learn, guys. This is how you catch a fish."

Both Naruto and Katara looked at him with indifference before they turned back to whatever they were doing, practicing.

"Okay, Katara. Remember what I taught you." Naruto told her. "Now show me."

Katara nodded as she turned to the water and spotted what she was hoping for: a fish swimming by her side at close range.

She removes the glove from her left hand and stretches her arm out in the direction of the fish, taking a deep breath as she tried to focus.

"Good…" Naruto said to her and instructed. "Now let's see…"

Making a wavy motion with her wrist, up and downwards, it took a few moments before then she finally got the results: a bubble of water rises up from the ocean containing the newly trapped fish.

And there it was, Katara's water bending, and she was making progress.

"Naruto, Look!"

"Good work, Katara!" Naruto cheered, watching with excitement. "Now try and bring it over here."

"Wait, Sokka has to see this." Katara said while bending the bubble carefully. "Sokka!"

"Sshh! Katara, you're going to scare it away." Sokka hushed his sister as he was too focused on the fish in the water while licking his lips. "Mmmm ... I can already smell it cookin'.

"Your stomach thinks more than your brain, kid." Kurama mumbled with his eyes closed, awake still he added. "Tone it down, I'm trying to take a nap."

"But Sokka!" Katara was struggling with the bubble. "I caught one!"

"Just watch out, Katara." Naruto warned her. "Don't lose focus, learn how to-"

*POP!*

Katara's bubble happened to lay above the front half of the cameo when Sokka's spear happened to poke the water with the blunt end of his spear, splashing the water and soaking both him and Kurama wet.

"Ahh!" Sokka reacted.

"Bah!" Kurama joined in. "My fur!"

"Hey!" Katara watched as the fish landed back into the water, much to her dismay.

"Why is it that every time you play with magic water, I get soaked?" Sokka said, clearly dissatisfied at him getting drenched in water. "Really, why are you encouraging it, Naruto?"

"It's not "magic", it's waterbending!" Katara responded in annoyance. "And don't blame Naruto for this, it's …"

"Yeah, yeah, an ancient art unique to our culture, blah, blah, blah." Sokka interrupted and turned back around while drying himself a bit. "Look, I'm just saying that if I had weird powers, I'd keep my weirdness to myself."

"You're calling me weird?" Katara argued skeptically, with her arms crossed she responded smugly. "I'm not the one who makes muscles at myself every time I see my reflection in the water!"

It didn't help that Sokka actually was doing that by flexing his arms into the reflection of the water, with the grin he confidently had, turning soar after that comment from his sister.

"Ouch…" Kurama winced as he held his laughter back. "Sorry kid, but that's just a burn."

Naruto smiled as he was about to make a comment until he then says.

"Guys…we got trouble!"

The trouble he was referring to was the current they were in, and it was leading them into a jumble of icebergs chunks that were narrowing their path!

"Crap! Crap! Crap!" Kurama cursed and shouted. "Do something!"

"I'm trying!" Sokka said grabbing his paddle.

Avoiding the chunks of ice as much as possible, Sokka with the help of Naruto who also held a paddle, tried as much as they could to get to a better path to avoid themselves from getting stranded.

"Watch out!" Katara shouted the directions and panicked. "Go left! Go left!"

However, her advice didn't reach the ears of the boys, as they took the wrong turn at last and blocked themselves in a three-way chunk of ice and they were forced to bail-

*CRUNCH!*

Just in time because the ice crunched the canoe into bits, landing all four of them onto one of the ice chunks that was big enough for all of them to be on, with Katara nearly sliding into the water if Naruto didn't hold her by the sides with his arm.

Seeing she was this close to falling in, Katara sighed in relief and smiled at Naruto. "Thanks."

Naruto smiled back. "No problem."

As the four huddled up on the ice chunk, it didn't take long to realize they were stuck. Like very stuck on this small piece of snow covered ice.

"You call that left?" Katara said turning to her brother, who clearly, wasn't having it and responded swiftly.

"You don't like my steering?" Sokka argued back with mockingly hand gestures. "Well, maybe you should've waterbended us out of the ice."

Katara glared at him. "So it's my fault?

"I knew I should've left you home." Sokka said annoyed, sitting and commenting something absurd. "Leave it to a girl to screw things up!"

And that absurdity alone, was something that both the blond and the Kitsune to look at one another in shock and in disbelief, but they both agreed.

"Shit…"

To that point, Katara just snapped with anger.

"You are the most sexist, immature, nut brained…" Katara was in such a state of anger that she wailed her arms around while ranting. "I'm embarrassed to be related to you!"

Unbeknownst to them all was that Katara was controlling the water in her state of anger, causing small waves off from the ice they were on, she caused one to then hit the large iceberg behind them and-

*CRACK!*

A large crack appeared right into the iceberg, and it was noticed in a second by Naruto and Kurama.

"Oh, oh…"

"... God-damn it, Sokka."

Sokka, who wears a somewhat disinterested expression, glances briefly in his sister's direction and sees the iceberg, and then was stunned to see what was happening behind her, basically in a state of shock.

"Ever since mom died, I've been doing all the workaround camp, while you've been off playing soldier!"

*CRACK!*

Ending that with the last word, Katara basically caused another crack to grow in that iceberg, even causing chunks out of it and dropping it into the water.

"Uhm…" Sokka tried. "Katara…"

"I even wash all the clothes!" Katara continues her outburst, a finger pointed into her brother's face. "Have you ever smelled your dirty socks?" She emphasized on that with disgust. "Let me tell you, not pleasant!"

*CRACK!*

Yelling that out, Katara caused another split into the large iceberg. Causing it to be on the brink of collapsing anytime soon-

Kurama just looked at Naruto with concern. "Aren't you going to intervene?"

"For one good reason… I'm not going to." Naruto said, slightly in worry of Katara's rage. "There' one lesson I've learned that I nearly forgot yesterday."

"And what's that?"

"Katara," Sokka pleaded in fear of what he was seeing. "Settle down!"

"NO! that's it! I'm done helping you!" Katara threw her arms back one last time. "From now on, you're on your own!"

*CRACK!*

And that final bending caused the iceberg to be completely split in half, and the huge chunks of ice to fall down and causing the first half to fall into the water.

Katara turned around and gasped with an fearing Sokka, both unprepared at this and-

*Grab!*

Both got grabbed by Naruto as he stabbed his Kunai into the ice, all holding off as the ice disintegrated into multiple pieced while Kurama was clenching hard onto the blond's back with his claws.

"Again, what's the reason, brat?"

"There is no way you can win an argument with a woman mid-rage!" Naruto shouted as he held on. "Nothing works so you just have to take it until it's over!"

The current wave they were riding on started to calm down, and the ice chunk they were on found itself being the middle of all the remaining ice that was scattered around them.

"Asides from that," Sokka commented. "You've gone from weird to freakish. Katara."

"You mean I did that?" Katara asked, astonished at what she just did.

"Yep, congratulations." Sokka commented.

Then out of nowhere bubbles started to come out of the water in front of them, lots of bubbles, more than what normally would be coming out of the cold ocean water.

"There are no underwater volcanoes underneath in the South Pole, right?"

Then a crystal blue glow appeared and it was growing in a fast pace, that it caused everybody to stand up and move backwards so-

*FWOOSH!*

An gigantic iceberg that was the source of the blue glow appeared in front of them, moving back and forth for a bit until it was shown to be shaped of a rounded dome, an odd form for an iceberg.

And it was at this point something felt off, really off. Something deep fully unusual that it caused Naruto to be on his guard, and he wasn't the only one.

"Kid, do you-"

"Yes, but don't speak about it…"

Luckily for them, Sokka and Katara were too focused on their whispering as they were staring at the dome-shaped iceberg, with the light then showing something.

A human shape within below a larger, indistinguishable mass, was seen in almost a meditative position that had multiple light-colored arrows visible in the palms of his hands and on his head.

'It cannot be…possible…'

Then unexpectedly the eyes of the human being opened - a shock that got everyone to react, but mostly Katara of all people.

"He's alive!" Katara leaped forwards. "We have to help!" Without a second thought she grabbed Sokka's club and ran over the ice towards the dome, with Naruto and Kurama right behind her on her heels.

"Wait, get back here!" Sokka went after them as last, shouting. "We don't know what that thing is!"

Running over the tiny chinks of ice, Katara reached first and began using the club to smash into the ice dome, with Naruto and Kurama right behind leaving Sokka to be the last to arrive.

*SLAM!*

*SLAM!*

Katara kept smashing the club into the ice, as it looked like a hopeless cause.

*SLAM!*

*SLAM!*

But then when she slammed it the fifth time, it then-

*SLAM!*

It caused to break the ice as a great gust of wind exploded into their faces, making both Katara and Sokka land on Naruto's feet who stood there taking the wind, with Kurama still holding onto him.

But it was at this point Naruto was way too focused on what he saw appear - A beam of light bursts from the core of the iceberg and rockets into the sky!

And that light itself was alone for Naruto to only have one thing on his mind…

'By the spirits…it's true…'

The light beam was seen all across the South Pole, and it attracted the howling and growling of the many animals who felt its presence, like the uncountable amount of the tiger seals growling nearby.

It unfortunately also attracted the attention of a far-off ship that happened to just enter the South Pole. that of a young teenage kid, with a black ponytail and a scar in his left eye, wearing a Fire Nation uniform.

The words that outed his lips were that of astonishment, to then of calm.

"Finally."

Hope you all liked it, and I wish you all a good evening.

AL out!
