"Ka, Kagome?"

Kagome turned to look over her shoulder to see Inuyasha.

"Inu, Yasha?"

He ran to her and went to his knees "Your back!" He threw her into a hug.

"Uh yeah," She looked around "Is everything ok?"

"Kagome you seem confused," Sango stated.

"Just, you act like I've been gone forever," She then winced at the tight hug she had been thrown into.

Inuyasha pulled back and held her at arm's length "Kagome you have been gone for 3 days!"

Her eyes shot up "Really, it only felt like an hour to me," She said in amazement.

"Hn"

Kagome looked over her other shoulder to see Sesshomaru and Rin "You waited around too?"

"Hia Lady Kagome, Lord Sesshomaru would not leave till Lady Kagome returned!" Rin smiled brightly. Kagome blushed slightly, but she knew not to take it the way it sounded. He hadn't really stayed for her.

"How does your arm fair Miko," His eyes glided to her right arm.

"Hu, oh," Kagome looked down. It wasn't bleeding but the wounds were still open "I forgot,"

Inuyasha sat back on his knees, his bangs covering his face "I'm sorry," He said quietly,

"Inuyasha you didn't know what you were doing!" She pleaded.

"But I still hurt you!" He declared looking at her. Kagome blushed, unsure what to say.

"Hn, the half-breed should clean the wound,"

Inuyasha blushed and looked away. Kagome looked at it again "It's ok, it doesn't even sting now,"

"See, she's fine," He didn't look at her. He wasn't saying it but he was afraid to touch her now.

"She has forgiven you," Kikyo spoke coming up behind him.

"Kikyo," Kagome quickly stood up "You're alive!"

"Naraku was the cause of my untimely demise,"

"We found a way," Inuyasha stated standing "Instead of stealing the souls of humans, she took in a demonic soul,"

"Just as a demonic creature is eternal, so is their soul," Kikyo said,

"Does, does that mean you will live forever?" Kagome was confused.

"No, not forever but for a long while,"

"Lady Kagome!" Miroku pushed past Inuyasha and Kikyo and threw his arms around her in a big hug "You have returned!"

Kagome laughed "Hi Miroku!"

His hand inched down,

"Monk", Sesshomaru warned seeing from behind as the man's hand inched closer to the Miko's butt.

Miroku quickly decided not to touch and put Kagome down "I knew you would return,"

Kagome blushed slightly.

"Kagomeeeeeee," Shippo ran down the hill and launched himself into her waiting arms.

"Oh, Shippo!" She nuzzled his face which made Sesshomaru raise an eyebrow. He half expected her to start licking him like a fox mother would do.

"I missed you so much! I was so worried!"

"I missed you too!" She kept nuzzling,

"Ah Kagome dont treat him like a baby, you know he is over 200 years old," Inuyasha huffed at the site. Kagome smiled and reached over and rubbed his ears. Shippo and Rin giggled.

"Io wench dont be treating me like some baby!" He snapped,

"It seems fitting since you are but an overgrown pup," Sesshomaru spoke.

"Io, what the hell are you still here?"

Everyone turned to him.

"Miko,"

Kagome sat Shippo down "Yes?"

Sesshomaru turned "Rin stay with the monk and slayer,"

"Hia My Lord!"

Kagome blinked "Guess I should follow him,"

"No, why the hell would you do that!"

"Inuyasha I think he just wants to talk,"

"Well, he can talk right here, ya hear that Sesshomaru!"

If he didnt he wasn't listening.

"Inuyasha he isn't going to hurt me,"

"Yeah and how do you know that?"

Kagome didn't choose her words carefully "Why would he save me just to hurt me?" She trotted off not thinking about it.

Inuyasha's ears sunk down "Like I hurt you?" He whispered.

"Inuyasha you know thats not what she meant," Mioku touched his shoulder.

"Kagome cares about you," Sango added,

"Will you all stop treating me like im so sick puppy!" He yelled.

"Well, you are," Shippo said under his breath. Inuyasha's punched him in the head which in turn made made the kit cry. "Whose the baby now you little runt!"

Everyone else in the group sighed.
