Hi guys, this will be just a preparation chapter, but after this it'll be more enjoyable.

Doctor Visit
During the battle against the Super Androids.
Cell was in Towa's laboratory looking at a screen.
It was of his Perfect Form, it looked so sublime, it radiated power.
He watched as he decimated the Z-fighters.
But then his awe was ruined when he watched his Perfect counterpart lose to a boy, Gohan.
It made him angry this was his perfection and, in the end, he lost to a mere child.
Once the screen turned black, he turned back to the woman who brought her here.
"So" Towa looked at the angry Cell. "Are you willing to go with my plan."
Cell scoffed not wanting to admit that she was right.
"Just tell me, how do I know that your plan will work?"
Towa kept smiling. "Cell, I've studied your physiology, which even in your current state is impressive, I have come up with not only a thought-out training plan for you to skyrocket your growth, but the ideal specimens for you to absorb, opponents to help increase your power, with all these factors, you will have power beyond anyone will recognize."
Cell glared at her having his doubts still not sure if he should trust her. For all he knew he was a pawn in her game.
"Come now Cell, do you not want revenge on the boy who robbed you of perfection?"
The Bio Android gripped his hands tightly, he was so close. He thought he was beyond what the boy could become. But he was proven wrong.
"Very much so." He said to her. "Show me what you have in mind."
Towa nodded glad to have gotten through with him. "Very good, first, let's wait a bit, I need to see how the first phase is going, in the meantime, watch the battle."
The screen changed to see a new pair of 17 and 18, he almost didn't recognize them.
His eyes widened unable to believe what he was seeing.
These two. He was going to have to absorb these two?
A smile etched on his face for the first time in a while.

Trunks had landed on the ground holding the bodies of 17 and 18, he then reached into his pocket.
He can't let the kids see them after what they've been through.
Once he pulled out his hand he pressed two capsules and they rose into large man size containers.
Hopefully they won't wake up.
He placed the duplicates in each container and pressed a button shrinking them into their capsule forms.
The Saiyan took the capsules and placed them in his pockets, hopefully they could find a use for them.
"Trunks hurry up!" Lapis yelled as he stayed behind to make sure he didn't lose his way.
The half Saiyan followed him and rejoined the group.
He was flying next to Lapis and Lazuli with Zangya in the lead.
"So, 16 had been reprogrammed by this Android 21? From even before they appeared." He asked once Zangya had explained.
"Yes, clearly they had planned this for some time." Zangya said to him. "I wonder if that was how Bulma was able to restore him?"
Lapis glared at that. 16 had gotten back to them and was used as a puppet against them.
The others had similar feelings.
"But wait" Lazuli brought up. "You knew 16 wasn't alright, but you trusted him with the kids?"
"We had a limited amount of time." Zangya explained. "I didn't want to trust him, I wanted to make sure my son, niece, and nephew was safe to but if I didn't go to you three, what do you think 17 and 18 would have done with our children?"
Lazuli realized that she had a point. It wasn't a favorable option but it was the only real option. She just sped for where they sensed their energy.
And to their relief they finally made it to where they sensed the children.
Iolite was covered in bruises and blood. Holding two children who thankfully had minimal injuries.
She let go of the kids.
"Mom! Dad!" Joyaku dashed forward into his mother's arms.
Zangya wrapped her arms around her son while Lapis placed a comforting hand on the young boy's head glad to see their son had survived.
Lazuli grabbed Shorz and hugged her tight.
Normally the boy would be embarrassed but held his mother like he thought he was never going to see her again.
Trunks pulled Iolite's arm and hugged her along with his wife and son.
Iolite sighed and gave a smile as she hugged her family.
Lapis ruffled his son's hair. "You did great kiddo, I sensed that you had gotten the fusion dance."
Joyaku smiled a toothy grin glad to have praise from his father.
"It's really you right?" Shorz asked looking up at his mother.
Lazuli kissed her son's forehead. "Of course it's me, that fake is gone don't worry."
Trunks put a hand on his son's head and daughter's shoulder. "You two did great, Shorz, you had managed to fuse, Iolite you protected them and got the boys to safety. You two couldn't make me prouder."
Iolite felt like she didn't help as much as she would have liked. But her father praising her made her happy.
As the family all celebrated Iolite had to interject.
"16!" Iolite shouted. "He… he saved us. There was a pink Android that came for us! We need to save him!"
They all stopped.
"Trunks!" Lazuli yelled. "Take the kids to the lookout, we'll meet you there with your mother." She said to him. "Everyone else you're with me, Zangya be ready to use your attack if he isn't himself."
Zangya nodded.
"Alright, stay safe!" Trunks yelled as he flew off with Shorz and Joyaku in his arms. He flew off while the remaining four will search for 16.

Trunks flew off holding the boys.
"So, who were those copies?" Shorz asked confused.
Trunks looked down at his son.
"It's a long story." Thankfully he already had told Shorz what happened back when they were a little younger. They wanted to avoid another situation like they had with Iolite, all those lies hurt their daughter and they didn't want to do the same to them.
"Come on we'll head to the lookout and we'll talk.'
He said to them.
Once they arrived Trunks saw an unexpected sight.
Supreme Kai and Kibito were there with Dende.
Trunks let his son and nephew go and looked at the Supreme Kai.
"Thank you, if it wasn't for you two, we wouldn't have made it." He said to them smiling.
The Supreme Kai smiled. "I'm only glad that it worked, but I'm afraid that this is far from over."
"I figured." Trunks said to him. "So, what exactly is going on."
"Let's wait for the others." The Kai responded. "We'll talk then."
Trunks nodded and looked down at the lookout.
He hoped his family remained safe.
The same goes for 16.

Once Lapis, Lazuli, Zangya and Iolite made it to where 21 had shown up.
They couldn't find anything at all. 16 was missing not even in pieces.
"Damn it." Lazuli said looking around. "Don't tell me, did he get destroyed?"
"Or" Zangya was afraid to say. "Did he get under her control again?"
They all were afraid of the answer.
Iolite squeezed her fist in anger.
If she had been stronger. If she had been stronger this wouldn't have happened.

Towa's Lair
17 and 18 were on the ground in pain.
"D-damn it!" 17 yelled as he struggled to get up.
18 was pushing herself against the wall as she stood up.
Both of them felt angry, they had them. They were so close to killing them!
"Hello kiddies." An energetic voice interrupted.
And that only made them angrier.
The twins looked to see 21, now in her human form.
"Glad to see you two are in one piece." 21 smiled at them. "Come with me now and I'll be sure to fix you both right up."
17 stood up angry and walked forward ignoring the pain.
"Oh, will you? Like you did before?" He asked. "You're going to have to do more than that after your screw up!"
"Oh?" She asked looking at him. "I screwed did I, my apologies how?"
"How?" 17 yelled. "You and your blue friend promised us so much power we would have so much power we would be brought to our rightful place as the top of the universe, to make Trunks feel like he did when we fought him in our timeline!"
"But instead!" 18 interjected walking to her brother's side. "You didn't give us enough power you didn't prepare us for their fusion! That little purple guy that showed up, that was one of the Kais, you two said they wouldn't be involved and wouldn't be able to fuse. It's your fault that happened! You didn't live up to your end of the bargain!"
21 didn't seem angry at that she just put a hand to her chin.
"Hmm" She seemed to ponder while 17 and 18 were getting angrier and angrier. "Let's see, I promised you power that can destroy them all, check, I let you do it your way, you had them right where you wanted them. Just like I said you would. The only way you couldn't have would be if you screwed up somehow."
Both of them got angrier when she said that.
"You had the power to kill them, but instead you two played with your food like you always did, and gave them time to regroup and take you out." She explained with a smile. "If anyone messed up here, it would be you not me."
"You…" 17 wanted to argue but neither he or his sister could respond.
"Ok" 21 clapped her hands. "So, for take two, I want you and your sister to grow the fuck up, stop playing with your food and devour them!" She yelled, her eyes changing to black and pink for a moment and then reverting back to normal. "Ok?"
17 growled in response knowing how he needed her to prepare them for a new fusion.
His sister wasn't taking it so well and she reached for 21. "Why you little-"
Just then a big hand grabbed her hand.
18 glared at who had grabbed her like that.
It was Android 16, only he looked different. He was a foot taller, covered in Gete metal, his armor was now different, larger shoulder pads, risen armor around the neck area. More armor on the leg area and a circle in the center of his chest with the Red Ribbon insignia. He also had yellow eyes like 13 had.
18 tried to pull away, 17 was about to attack the giant Android.
"Leave them be 16." 21 said to her reacquired Android.
The Android did so, making both Androids uncomfortable.
"Now that we have an understanding, I will get to work on those new doubles, you managed to lose, and remember." She had a cocky smirk. "Grow. The. Fuck. Up." Her eyes then went to normal. "Ok?"
"Tch" 17 said. "Come on sis" He walked towards the recovery tables.
18 growled embarrassed by all this and looking forward to next time.
21 grinned as she walked with 16 by her side. She sighed. "Y'know 16, I'm glad your hear, by mommy's side, don't ever leave me again, ok?"
16 didn't say a word and only followed her.
The Android grinned knowing one funny thing about 17 and 18.
They are just the opening act.
Her partner is working on the final phase.

17 and 18's timeline
Dr. Gero looked amazed at the sight. Of all things he didn't expect this.
The green creature, it was definitely him. He was made from the same components that he had acquired for his dream creation.
"You want the secrets of time travel." Towa went on with continuing her proposal. "What we want is something you want as well." She pointed her staff at Cell. "I want you to help me turn him into the strongest creation you ever had."
Dr. Gero shook his head and look at Cell.
"You mean help him acquire his Perfect Form." Dr Gero looked at Cell. "Hmph, I suppose I wouldn't mind recreating 17 and 18 for you."
Cell chuckled at that. "As tempting as that is doctor." His creation responded. "I believe we will need to set our sights higher now."
"Higher?" Dr. Gero asked. "Your Perfect Form would be the pinnacle of creation do you doubt the power my creations can give you?"
"Not at all." Cell replied. "However, my new friend here was so kind to show me some other timelines." He gestured to Towa. "Including one where I see another version of myself who had achieved it."
He remembered in Towa's lair while 17 and 18 were battling the Z-fighters of the earth of Towa's timeline, he had watched a version of himself reaching perfection. Only to lose to a young boy.
"And while it was what you promised, sadly, he was surpassed." He explained. "I seek an even greater form, not just perfection, something far greater."
Dr. Gero finally stood up. "Surpassed? No one should have surpassed your perfect form, you would have made all other Androids inferior, you were meant to be perfect." It was as if he was offended by how Cell put it.
"Indeed, doctor I was powerful, however Towa has given a plan that can speed my growth." He explained. "All she asks is for me to destroy the Trunks of her timeline."
"Trunks?" Dr. Gero was surprised to hear that name. "Android 16 was enough to dispose of him, he was no match for 17 or18 individually, how could he be a problem."
If only that were the case in every timeline.
"Different timelines, different levels of power." Towa explained. "The Trunks of my universe is far more powerful, not only that but he has become allies with his own 17 and 18, together they've become even more powerful as time went on, a true force that cannot be stopped easily."
This one surprised the old looking Android.
"Impossible" Dr. Gero couldn't fathom this. "Those two were always near impossible to control, but they couldn't side with any human, let alone me."
Cell chuckled hearing that, amused by his creator's disbelief.
"Oh doctor, I felt the same way." He said to him. "I had the privilege of seeing how powerful her version of Trunks is, he surpassed the power of the 17 and 18 you knew in his base form."
"Base form?" Dr. Gero couldn't fathom that. Super Saiyan wasn't in his databanks, though troublesome, 17 and 18 can handle them with ease. But a normal Saiyan strong enough to destroy his creations.
Towa was amused at the doctor's reaction.
"If" Dr. Gero tried to calm himself. "If that is true, then what makes you think I can do anything? From what you're telling me, it sounds like you have the means of helping Cell go beyond his perfect form, what exactly can I do?"
"Doctor, you now have control over the entire earth. I trust it won't be long before you turn to the rest of the universe." Towa stated. "However, there are threats out there that have the potential to halt your plans, the same threats Trunks had faced."
She thought of all the threats that Trunks had fought and how their power even as is can be perfect tools to catch up and surpass Trunks.
"All of them are monsters in their own right, still alive and well in this timeline, perfect for both training and fuel to ensure Cell's growth." Towa explained. "From you, we will need assistance in ensuring he survives to benefit from this with the help of your Androids, as well as any upgrades you can manage."
Dr. Gero heard this and thought of what she said and looked at his creation.
"Hmph, very well I will assist in his growth." He explained. "However I would like a show of good faith, the time travel blue prints, I would like to see if it works."
Towa chuckled.
"Of course, Doctor" The demon didn't trust Dr. Gero, but she's sure that she can convince him that it is only ideal to keep her around. Besides she has a better means of escape than relying on the time machine. "If I may, I also have one other thing I'd like to share with you, it's all in here."
She pulled out a computer chip which stores everything the doctor wanted to know.
Dr. Gero took it and eyed it.
"If there's anything amiss in here, I will know."
"If I may." Cell interjected. "Doctor, Towa has only been forthright with me, she has all to gain with siding with you, betraying either of us does not serve her."
Towa smiled hearing that the bug wasn't being trusting but pragmatic.
Dr. Gero eyed Cell feeling more at ease with him than her, understandable since he had created him.
"41! Take have this chip sent to my duplicate in sector 47." He ordered.
Android 41 took the chip in her hand and nodded. "As you wish Doctor."
"As you guessed" Dr. Gero began to explain. "I have multiple bodies all over the planet, each one linked to each other, so another me will be viewing the chips content." He explained. "In the meantime, let us discuss this plan you have for Cell."
Cell chuckled hearing that his creator saw things there way.
Towa as well knowing how things are coming their way.

The Original Timeline
Trunks and the others were on the lookout. He had even brought his mother up here so she could know the situation.
"16 must have been taken." Trunks said to them with an angry tone. "He couldn't have been easily destroyed."
"I should have seen it coming." Bulma said dishearten. "I just happen to find a form of code that could restore his memory." She said squeezing her fists. "I'm sorry I"
Iolite put a hand to her shoulder as she was on the verge of tears.
"Don't grandma." She said to her. "We were happy to have him back in our lives."
"They played us all for fools." Lapis said to her. "None of us could have seen this coming."
Zangya was silent thinking of 16, how she trusted him to protect the children. And he did, he must have used every ounce of will power to force himself to stop 21. She held Joyaku close to her happy to see him alive.
Lazuli held her son close to her making a mental note to beat 21 senseless.
"I'm so sorry for interrupting." Supreme Kai tried to interject. "But we need to discuss, I can hardly imagine a more dangerous situation."
The others turned to him while Iolite tries to comfort her grandmother.
"This demon Towa, for the past two months she has used it to gather resources, we only just found out when Dende alerted us of more Androids, we looked into it to realize the number of timelines has grown." The Kai continued. "Not to mention those past Androids with these new duplicates. It felt wrong, something that shouldn't exist."
Both 17 and 18 had merged with newly created copies that were made in this time.
"Clearly those two are you from the past." He looked at Lapis and Lazuli.
The duo nodded and sighed. Dealing with what they've done was one thing, but seeing who they were was surreal.
"And who even knows what other interference she has run." He explained to them. "I can hardly imagine how much she has effected these timelines, or how much worse they have begun."
"Where did she even get a time machine?" Bulma asked. "I dismantled mine when we found out that the timeline that monster Cell went to manage to save themselves, we didn't want to make another situation where someone could abuse it."
"We thought so to." Supreme Kai responded. "But then we realized Baby had you build one while under his control."
The woman's eyes widened, that was true, they all forgot about that.
"That's it." Trunks said to them. "When you forced Baby into the portal, he must have dropped the capsule containing the time machine."
All of them couldn't believe that their luck. That must have been what happened. Towa found that time machine and used it! And now she was using to run amok.
"What I don't understand is how did she come back?" Lapis asked. "We we're there, we watched Trunks destroy her."
"We didn't word the wish right." Trunks pointed out. "We wished everyone that Baby had killed was brought back." He explained. "When I killed Towa, Baby kept her in place while I killed her, that must count as him killing her."
All of them were in shock hearing that, as they didn't want that to be true, it's the only explanation.
"A wish that accidentally brought her back." Lapis chuckled. "Sounds, familiar right sis?"
Lazuli didn't respond she only frowned hearing that. But it was true, it was just like how Bulma wished her and her brother back 17 years ago.
Zangya slapped his arm.
"Ow" Lapis looked at her while holding his arm. "What?"
"Don't talk like that." The Hera scolded. "It was a blessing for you to come back, don't call it an accident."
"All right, all right" Lapis chuckled at his angry wife.
"At any rate." Supreme Kai continued. "With this time machine Towa may continue creating more and more timelines, if that happens, then it may get Beerus's attention."
They remembered that name.
"Right, the God of Destruction." Trunks replied. "You think he would solve it."
"He would" Supreme Kai stated. "But he would do it his way and ensure it would never happen again, he may destroy earth since it was created here."
"Would he really do that?" Zangya asked. "I thought his job was to ensure the balance of the universe, why would he go that far?"
Supreme Kai sighed as did Kibito.
"He does however, he has an unfortunate habit of overdoing it." He explained to her. "As I said, there's a reason I did not got him involved in stopping Majin Buu, not even the other Kais got involved with him, he was the one who sealed Elder within the Z-Sword."
It sounded like they would be in even bigger trouble if he did wake up.
"So, your saying that we need to stop Towa before Beerus finds out?" Trunks asked. "You've seen how strong we are, do you think we wouldn't be able to stop him?"
It was hard to believe given the progress they made over time. Many powerful opponents are now nothing.
"Trunks" The Kai tried to find the best way to explain this. "You and everyone here should be proud of the progress you've made. You, your daughter now far surpasses Majin Buu at his worst." He was referring to Kid Buu that he had met before he absorbed the North Supreme Kai. "However, Beerus is a different level, one you will not be ready for anytime soon no matter what we do."
None of them really could believe him, but at the same time couldn't really find a reason to doubt him.
"Yes, exactly that." Supreme Kai explained. "I wish I can tell you what timeline they are in, but Towa seems to have learned to hide her location with magic. All I can tell you is to make every preparation you can, Elder Kai is trying to locate her, hopefully it will be before she causes too much damage."
Trunks squeezed his fists, there was one thing he thought that they could do. He looked at his mother who nodded.
"I have something that can help." Dende interjected. "I've been working on the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, it was only recently before all this happened, but I figured out a way to allow there to be no time limit for anyone who wants to use the time chamber."
This surprised everyone.
"What?" Lapis asked with his eyes widened. "You mean… now we can use the time chamber again? Even though most of us had our two years?"
"Yes" Dende replied. "It took some time, Mr. Popo and I studied and tried to see how we can change it and we found ways to upgrade it with some techniques I learned from Elder Moori, Namekiens are able to use magic to do more than just make dragon balls, though it did take years of study."
All of them looked ecstatic they couldn't believe their luck.
"Dende! That's amazing!" Trunks said ecstatic. "I don't know what Towa and 21 are planning with 17 and 18 now, but we'll be ready."
This seemed to put them all in better spirits.
Iolite looked hopeful, this could be what she needed to finally do her part and help save the earth this time.
"I'm happy to hear that." Supreme Kai said to them. "We will be off now, we're going to help Elder Kai with finding Towa, I wish you all luck."
Kibito and Supreme Kai vanished leaving them all to their devices.
"Alright" Trunks brought up. "Let's figure out who's going to use the chamber first, should be two at a time again so we can train partners." He explained to Lapis, Lazuli, and Zangya.
He then looked at Iolite and his son and nephew. "Kids we will be staying up here alright? Stay together and stay close to which ever us are out in case Towa tries anything."
Iolite looked confused hearing that, her father was intending to keep her out of the hyperbolic time chamber. Well, she wasn't going to take that sitting down.
"Ok" Shorz said sadly, he wanted to help but knew that he wouldn't be much help.
Joyaku was actually grateful, he wanted to help his parents but he knew that not even Iolite would be much help.
His daughter was silent for a moment surprised that her father would tell her to stay out of the fight. She was about to say something but Trunks was already walking towards Bulma.
"Tch" Iolite had gotten angry, wanting to be a part of the fight. She wasn't going to be a part of the sidelines. She had to help.
"Something wrong sis?" Shorz asked looking up at her.
Iolite stopped with her angry look and smiled at her younger brother. "Everything's fine Shorz." She said ruffling his hair. "Come on, let's go get something to eat."
Shorz smiled typically excited at the idea of food and Joyaku sighed not wanting to see them eat so much food.
Iolite had thoughts of her own though, she was going to get involved no matter what.
Trunks went up to his mother. "Mom, we won't have much time left, is it done?"
"Should be completed in a couple days." She said to her. "Don't worry, I'll have it done before the big day."
The half Saiyan nodded and thought of something. "Right and take these." He handed the two capsules.
"Wait are these…." Bulma looked at them.
"Yeah, Zangya thought we could find a use for them, think you can try." Trunks asked. "I'm sorry mom, I know this is a lot for you to take on, but-"
"No" Bulma shook her head and put a hand on her shoulder. "Y'know I'm more than willing to help, I'll do the best I can, and I'm going to make sure we find a way to get 16 back to us."
Trunks nodded as he looked at his family. His mother, his wife, children, his friends. He's going to protect all of them no matter what it takes.

17 and 18's timeline
Dr. Gero was overlooking a building site, watching as his robots worked on constructing a large structure with the Red Ribbon insignia.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" Dr. Gero questioned.
By his side Towa and Cell were standing with him.
"Of course, Doctor." Towa said to him. "You don't despise my plan, do you? Have I not given you what you asked?"
It was true, she had given him what he needed and more.
He knows that in a different lab, another Dr. Gero looked at the schematics he was given. It was extraordinary, he was so focused on his Androids to complete world domination that he never had the time to look into other theories, none as eccentric as time travel.
He was a bit disappointed to find out time traveling to the past, didn't alter events in the present but creates another timeline.
Not that it mattered, with this he can conquer not just one earth but multiple. And perhaps with the assistance of other versions of himself.
Especially with what else he was given.
Perfected instructions for creating perfectly obedient Androids.
Maybe even ones, as strong as 17 and 18.
It was beyond expectations and would inspire plans he would make for himself, while he was helping in this endeavor.
"You have given me what you said, however I just doubt this plan because it seems so trivial, why not just create duplicates of 17 and 18 for Cell to absorb, before all this?" Dr. Gero asked. "I'm sure I can provide even more upgrades with the time we have."
"I'm afraid time isn't quite on our side." Towa responded. "While we wait, our enemies grow stronger and so we must find a way for Cell to catch up, and it can't just be with simply reaching his perfect form."
"I agree" Cell interjected. "Doctor as we said this Trunks is far more powerful than I thought was possible, for that I cannot just absorb, I need to train, battle powerful opponents, I need to battle who he has battled." He explained while squeezing his fists. "Once I have done Towa's plan, I will gain far more power than I would by absorbing them."
He then chuckled imagining destroying a version of Trunks after the one in his time got in his way.
"Just follow along doctor, I'm sure you will understand once we are done." Cell said to him.
Dr. Gero sighed not used to doing this. He always saw training as meaningless when they can simply use cybernetics and such. But he has seen those timelines and he supposed it wouldn't be a problem to try out this plan.
Either way he will see to it that Cell will reach true perfection.
"Excuse me doctor." One of his robots approached the trio. "The vessel is now ready and is locked on for a Planet under the PTO's control as requested."
"Very well, just do not fail." Dr. Gero warned. "You are meant to be my greatest creation."
Cell grinned looking forward to their first destination.
It will be the beginning of his journey of his path to power.
Ok guys the next couple chapters will split between Trunks and other training and Cell's growth which he definitely needs more than they do.
We will explore Gero's timeline and what he's been doing ever since he took over his earth.
Anyway hope you look forward to it.
