Beyond All Threats
Trunks in his Ultimate Form floated before the Golden Ape Tarble.
He has no idea how strong Tarble is now, but he does know if he takes it easy on him he'll just regenerate. He may have no choice but to kill him to get to his friends and family.
"You are willing to embrace your heritage you say?" Tarble chuckled. "Then show me!" He threw a giant fist.
Trunks raised his hands to block the titanic fist, and he then pushed.
It was enough force to make the ape stagger back.
The half-Saiyan flew into the ape's face and threw a kick into one of his eyes.
Tarble roared as he closed his eyes.
He swung his arm back into Trunks.
He was sent into the castle and hit the floor of the palace, he looked up as a shadow covered him, and he jumped back.
Tarble landed and stomped his feet onto the ruined castle.
The simulated palace fell, and the pole that held the castle up crumbled as the ape crashed into the water in front of the palace.
Trunks looked down at the ape.
Tarble looked up and fired Ki from his mouth towards the Saiyan.
It seemed to land but only made it through an afterimage of him.
Trunks appeared behind the giant ape with his hand risen, he formed a Royal Blade and slashed the tail.
Tarble screamed as his giant tail hit the ground.
His nephew looked at the ape with a neutral expression only observing.
Tarble chuckled.
Immediately a new tail grew and slammed down Trunks's body before he could react.
The Mystic Saiyan crashed into the ground with blood leaving his head. So he was right the Blutz waves are what's healing him not to mention making him stronger.
"Cutting off my tail will not save you." Tarble cackled. "I will remain in this form as long as I wish."
Dr. Gero went out of his way to turn him into an Android tailored to his people. Trunks were thankful that the lunatic never had lived long enough to consider making an Android from a Saiyan.
Tarble ran forward and threw a fist down where Trunks stood.
The ape then backhanded only for it to be evaded.
The Saiyan threw a kick at the monster's abdomen.
Tarble blocked the strike with his elbow.
And a giant knee collided with Trunks's body.
Once he was at the same level as his mouth Tarble unleashed a mouth blast.
The blast connected and forced Trunks to be sent flying but he caught himself as the Ki wave exploded behind him.
But Tarble was already in front and slammed his fist down on Trunks.
"Grr" Trunks struggled as he hit the ground he lifted the fist so it wouldn't crush him into the ground.
Clearly, Tarble was still very much a threat, even in this form.
That confirms it he was continuing to get stronger, he needed to finish this soon!

Simulated Planet Hera
Zangya was no longer holding back, she knew there was a risk of losing 16 but she knew he'd understand.
21 kept jumping back and fired death beams at the Hera.
The beams seemed to decrease upon contact, her Psycho State was depleting all Ki attacks on contact.
She then started mixing it in with her Candy Beam to try to catch her.
But Zangya was aware and jumped while firing an energy blast to counter.
21 jumped to another red tree, she was annoyed at how she was avoiding her candy beam. She may have to resort to doing it up close.
This technique is tricky, but it's not too similar to the other technique she used.
And she had a counter for that.
Zangya raced towards 21 ready to take her down.
21 focused, lowering her Ki before she got too close.
Zangya threw a spin kick, her aura was draining 21's Ki but she didn't feel much.
Once she was up close 21 threw a fist up, and her Ki rose up.
Zangya felt the full blow of the fist and was sent flying.
"Tch" 21 pulled her fist and growled. She still felt a good amount of energy decrease, but she grinned her theory was true.
The Hera spat blood as she pushed herself up.
"Damn it, she found my weakness."
During her training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Lazuli they discovered a way around Psycho State.
If an opponent can lower their Ki to near zero, the Psycho State won't take much energy, then at the last moment raise it to attack, while the energy will still decrease it on contact it minimizes the energy depletion.
Now that 21 figured it out, this could be fatal.
Just then she saw a pink light, she knew what it was.
She jumped as the beam hit some rocks.
They turned into chocolates.
Once 21 landed next to the pile of chocolates and took them into her mouth by the handful.
"Come on, I'm sure with that red hair, you'd make a nice strawberry cake." She licked her lips.
"Ugh" Zangya was grossed out by this demented woman, she had an idea but it would be risky.
It's her best chance to take her out and not end up as candy.

Simulated Capsule Corp
Super Saiyan three Iolite was throwing a flurry of punches at 16.
The Android was forced to block every strike and he was being pushed. Even in this state, stronger than the past 17 and 18 he was having difficulty defending.
Iolite then kicked at 16's side.
16 blocked it with his elbow, he then threw a fist toward her face.
She leaned back and kicked up 16's chin forcing the Android's head to tilt up.
Iolite then backflipped and landed before firing two blue energy blasts.
16 recovered and ran forward while deflecting both energy attacks.
The energy blasts hit the ground behind him as he ran forward.
Once he was close Iolite tried to sweep kick the Android.
But 16 punched the ground before the kick landed, disrupting her momentum before her kick could land.
He then rose a boot and tried to stomp her.
Iolite jumped and she threw a fist.
But 16 backhanded her.
The Saiyan backflipped and landed on the ground.
She sees 16 charging at her with a shoulder charge.
Iolite did the same and pushed against her corrupted uncle.
The two yelled as they tried to push the other.
"Come on 16! Is that all you got? Or are you still babying me like Dad always does?" She yelled at him.
The Android even though he was corrupted by his new programming couldn't help but think that she was only five years old when he was with them. Six given her year in the time chamber.
16 kept his frown. "You are the enemy, my sole purpose is to ensure the success of Dr. Gero, he has corrected all flaws in my programming, you benefit more from ceasing this talk."
Iolite frowned hearing that thinking of her childhood playing with the big lug. He was always so gentle with her, that he'd fuss over the smallest scratch. And even now he seems to want to talk her into giving up.
But not on winning.
He wants him to give up on him.
"Sure," The daughter of Lazuli said." "I'll do less talking!"
Both 16 and Iolite broke apart and threw punches and kicks at one another.
"And I'll do more beating you back to your senses!" Iolite screamed as she flew up and bashed her knee into 16's face. She then flipped and slammed two fists down his face.
16 then grabbed the girl before tossing her on the ground. He then raised his arms and threw multiple punches down at her.
Iolite put her arms up blocking the punches, she then rose her feet and slammed them up her abdomen.
16 was sent upward.
She then dashed upward using a move her grandfather 'demonstrated' to her when he taught her the third transformation.
Iolite flew upward and slammed a kick up 16's stomach. She then flew up and slammed her fists down 16's back.
16 crashed into the ground.
Iolite dropped with her knee down and smashed it into his back.
She then stood up and grabbed him before tossing him forward.
The woman then aimed her hands forward unleashing her Infinity Bullet to 16 who was still in the air.
Plenty of her pink energy blasts hit 16, but some hit the ground.
As planned.
She stopped firing once there was a smokescreen where the Android was.
Just then a bright yellow light headed towards her, he was using Hell Flash.
Iolite pressed her hands on the blast, she skidded back but with great effort, she tossed it upwards.
As soon as she did 16 was already in front of her and he slammed his fist against her face.
He then knelt and backhanded against her legs forcing her legs to force her up, he then tried to slam an elbow down her back.
But Iolite blasted against 16's waist propelling her back/
She looked at the Android to see a hole where she fired and watched as he recovered.
This form was strong enough to cause damage to him even in this state.
Also, all the training with Kibito's healing and Zangya's Psycho State is paying off. It's true even though she's alive, she truly has mastered the form.
Now with this power, she has one technique that should be able to stop 16, she just needs the right moment. She can feel her planted Ki blasts all over the place.
'Almost ready.' She thought.

Simulated Pepper Town
Lazuli stood in her taller form, she looked into her palm, at the absorption bead in the center of her gloved hand.
This power was such a rush, that it might rival what Zazuli had.
She looked down at the shorter in stature Tapion ready to do what needed to be done.
Tapion roared in a way that sounded too similar to Hirudegarn with his blade pulled back.
He slashed down at her in the middle.
Lazuli raised a hand grabbing the blade in her hand, she then threw a fist into his stomach.
She shattered the Brave Sword in her hand before throwing it on the ground.
Tapion watched as she raced towards her.
She threw another fist up Taipan's stomach, and she then elbowed down his back.
Tapion growled and glared up at her.
Lazuli aimed her hand down, she prepared a pink energy ball in her hand.
Just then the sword she had broken turned to mist and flew towards her.
The Android could hear something and jumped.
She saw the Brave Sword stabbed right behind Tapion.
'So he can turn the Brave Sword into Mist too?'
She supposes she should've known that he could turn his clothes into Mist.
Tapion grabbed the reformed Brave Sword and glared up at her, his power was still rising due to Towa's magic.
He then roared unleashing a torrent of flame from his mouth.
That was something Lazuli knew that she couldn't absorb.
She moved out of the way.
Mist appeared behind her with his blade pulled back and he attempted to slash at her waist.
The Android caught it in her fist and tossed an elbow against the Monster-fused swordsman's face.
It sent him flipping backward before he righted himself.
Lazuli stared at him with a neutral expression.
"You'd do well not to hesitate with this power," Tapion noted before taking a stance with his sword.
Lazuli knew she had to decide what to do now, her family needed her.

Simulated Lapis' Island
Lapis stood in his Super Android form he had done it, he had tapped into the form that he saw his counterpart do. And he didn't feel any different, Bulma was right, the copy was completely safe.
Now he had to deal with his opponent.
'Zangya' stared into Lapis's eyes.
"Well hubby, have you decided to grow some stones?"
Lapis didn't respond and aimed his hands forward.
"Photon Bomber"
Multiple yellow energy blasts were shot in her direction.
Zangya chuckled. "Did you forget?" She spread her arms apart ready to absorb the energy.
But to her surprise, his energy went downward instead of to her.
The Hera wondered what that was-
Lapis appeared in front of her and he slammed a backhand across her face.
'Empress Zangya' was sent upward, she stopped herself and glared. "That was a decoy you sneaky little-"
Again Lapis vanished appearing above 'Zangya' with his arms winded back.
'Zangya' barely reacted and flew back just missing her.
The impact of his missed strike broke the mountain beneath them in two.
"Aww, honey" 'Zangya' grinned. "You broke our island."
Lapis looked at her with a neutral look. "It's like you" He smashed his fist across her cheek. "Fake"
'Zangya''s head turned, and then Lapis threw multiple punches up his wife's counterpart's stomach before ending it with a vicious backhand.
She was sent flying and her body collided with a mountain turning it into rubble.
The Android Hera yelled as she flew over to Lapis intending to make this hurt, she unleashed her Psycho Threads in an attempt to steal more of his energy.
But Lapis merely ducked underneath the threads then he raised a fist. "Photon Geyser" The Photon Bomber he unleashed on the ground blended together and was sent upward into a yellow flash of energy.
'Zangya' looked down and grinned before having her hands down ready to absorb her next meal.
But Lapis appeared behind her and pulled at her arms behind her back.
"What?! No!"
The blast connected making a huge explosion.
Lapis still floated pulling back on 'Zangya' arms, he could feel it he was absorbing energy.
"You prick!" Empress 'Zangya' yelled before pulling her head back forcing Lapis to let go.
She then kicked at his stomach forcing him to be sent away.
'Zangya' growled holding her face where she was struck. But she smiled. "Maybe, my counterpart didn't have bad taste after all, you're out for blood now aren't you?"
Lapis pulled the sides off his hair before vanishing along with his wife's counterpart.
The two fought faster than the eye could see across the simulated island.
The father of Joyaku realized what he had to do.

In the Dark Room
All five fights can be seen on separate floating screens.
A frown can be seen with little light.
"What can be the matter Cell?" Towa asked seeing her 'partner's frown.
The Bio Android looked at all the battles.
17 and 18 were doing well as expected.
The green woman was above average he supposed with an interesting technique.
And the brat was more impressive than he thought, in this third form of Super Saiyan, she was battling an Android that was stronger than either the 17 and 18 he had absorbed.
But then there was the last one.
Trunks was holding his own against the golden ape.
Tarble may be beyond that of the 17 and 18 but at Trunks's maximum, he hasn't done away with the ape.
"I'm only a tad" Cell watched as Trunks blocked a giant fist. "disappointed, this version of Trunks seems to only be the third strongest in this group, I expected much more."
He thought he'd kill the ape before moving on, but it looked like it was going to take longer than he thought.
Beside him, Dr. Gero walked by Cell's chair and grinned. "That only shows the level you are at now Cell, in your new state all beings are beneath you, gathering all this data shows that your victory is very likely."
Cell had mixed feelings hearing that.
Winning was the goal but he wanted more obstacles. He risked his life multiple times in a short time to be where he is now. He wanted a true final battle between him and this version of Trunks.
In Cell's timeline this boy took his opportunity to achieve perfection and nearly killed him, he thought that this version would have the power necessary to excite his Saiyan cells.
But seeing him now he would only qualify as a warm-up and that was putting it nicely.
Still, this version of Trunks was battling his long-deceased uncle.
Maybe just maybe he was still holding back.
If not he can see a couple of others that would do as his final opponents.
His eyes shift to Super 17 and Super 18.
If he had allowed their past counterparts to fuse with their doubles either one of them would have destroyed him.
It was good he did not give in to his battle lust to let them gain their Super Forms.
As he is now it would make for a more interesting battle between him and both of them.
It won't be long now, soon it will be his turn.

Simulated Pepper Town
Lazuli weaved multiple slashes that were aimed at her vital spots.
Between dodges, she decided to try to reason with him.
"Tapion, are you still in there? If you are fighting this, I'm sure Towa's brainwashing can't be strong enough to keep you under her control."
As she jumped the swordsman growled.
"It isn't just Towa I'm fighting, Hirudegarn's influence is also affecting me." He growled as he fought to speak. "Even without Towa, the monster still controls me, his desire for destruction fuels me. Please! Do what needs to be done!"
Lazuli eyed down at him and then at Gohan's corpse.
She considered what was ahead, her counterpart along with her brothers. She had no time for this, she had to choose now.
Tapion turned to mist and raced towards her.
The mist surrounded her, and two arms materialized and grabbed her arms.
A third arm with a sword materialized and thrusted towards her neck.
With a grunt, Lazuli activated her Android Barrier technique.
The blade was stopped before it touched her.
She then broke free from Taipan's grip and grabbed the arm.
"What are you!"
Lazuli yelled as she activated her new ability.
Tapions hand began to glow and Lazuli's energy began to rise.
"No!" He yelled as he tried to turn to mist.
But Lazuli shrunk the barrier to surround the materialized hand to prevent his escape.
"Ahhhh!" Tapion screamed as he was forced to reform and his body was being drained.
In moments more and more of Taipan's energy drained, until finally the swordsman was on his knees in front of her.
Lazuli let go of his arm and stared down at one of her husband's old friends.
"Just like I thought, you don't have infinite energy, now I'm going to knock you out, when this is all over we'll do what we can to help you." Lazuli couldn't bring herself to kill him, yes Trunks would understand but she still couldn't stand the thought of hurting him even more after all they'd been through.
The demon hybrid Tapion panted while looking at the ground, with a smile he looked up at the Super Android.
"Thank you." He replied. "But I don't think either of us have the choice."
He fell unconscious unable to move anymore.
Lazuli was about to ask but just then something happened.
But before she could react his body glowed and he vanished.
Tapion's body vanished the same way the Z-fighters did when they were transported.
Lazuli looked at where Tapion once was, not even ashes were left, she tried to save him but now he was gone.
Before she could get her thoughts in order the voice from before rang.
"Tapion has fallen! Congratulations Android 18 you will progress to the next round!" The voice spoke as though he were a mere announcer. "Please wait for the other participants, thank you for such an entertaining battle!"
Lazuli looked at where Tapion once was and growled. They just took him, it happened too quickly to grab him, she wondered even if she had expected it would she have been put somewhere unable to fight?
Who even is speaking? Is this what they're fighting? What happened to 17 and 18?
It didn't matter, she couldn't just wait, she had to go and find a way out, either to Dr. Gero, Towa, or better yet someone in her group.
She only hoped they were faring better.

Simulated Lapis's Island
Lapis and 'Zangya' clashed both in their super forms.
The entire time 'Zangya' kept trying to grab him to absorb his energy.
But the experienced cyborg kicked up the Android's arm and knelt before smashing his elbow into her gut.
He then threw an uppercut.
But 'Zangya' was able to tilt her head before it connected, she then threw a leg behind Lapis's head.
Lapis flipped forward avoiding the kick and slammed his kick down 'Zangya's' head forcing her down. He then smashed his fist up her stomach, he pulled it before slamming another forcing her up.
He then grabbed her legs and flew down while absorbing more and more of her energy.
'Zangya' was about to use her Psycho Threads but just before she could Lapis tossed her down towards what was left of his simulated island.
The impact destroyed the island sinking the entire thing into the ground.
Lapis floated over where she landed.
Just then a flurry of Ki blasts were sent his way.
Knowing his his real wife's Ki can drain even an Androids he pulled back avoiding the energy depletion.
He nearly bumped into a well-placed web that would be used to absorb his energy.
'Zangya' appeared behind her and tried to grab him.
Lapis turned and grabbed his wife's counterpart's wrist.
He began to drain her energy and add it to his own.
'Zangya' growled and she kicked up Lapis's chin.
It connected but he didn't move. "What?" Surrounding Lapis's body was a thin barrier making him nigh invincible.
But 'Zangya' grinned. "Idiot!" She spread her fingers using her Psycho Threads to spread all over Lapis's body.
"Tch" The brunette felt his body trapped in webs, the energy of his barrier faded adding to 'Zangya's. own.
In response, Lapis bashed his head on 'Zangya's forcing her to let go.
He then did the unthinkable and placed his energy absorption palms into 'Zangya's holding hands with his wife's counterpart.
"What are you doing?" 'Zangya' demanded as both her absorption beads and Lapis's were in contact.
"Let's see who can do absorption better!" Lapis yelled as they pushed into each other's grip.
They then tried to absorb the other's energy.
All the while they kicked at each other.
'Zangya' giggled. "This is a side of you I like! If only I got to meet your counterpart, I'm sure he would've been more like this!"
'If only' was an odd phrase, did they get rid of their past counterparts? He'll have to worry about that later.
Lapis pulled and smashed a knee into her stomach as he kept absorbing more of her energy.
"Ahhhh!" 'Zangya' was now losing more focus and even more energy.
Eventually, a blinding light appeared.
When it faded it showed 'Zangya' now back to her normal form and stature.
"W-what? How?" She asked.
Lapis thought this would happen. "My wife's technique works similarly, all I had to do was lower my energy minimizing the draining you're doing, but you wouldn't know how to do that right? Now you're done, I'll knock you out and deal with you later. I know you value your life so are you sure you want to keep fighting?"
'Zangya' stood still he was right, she had lost, maybe she could trick him into getting his energy once he let his guard down. Yes maybe-
Just then a Ki blast came from behind her and struck threw her back.
Lapis looked to where that shot had come from, he saw a portal from behind her and it closed as soon as he laid his eyes on it.
Someone fired an energy blast from that.
"Zangya!" Lapis yelled watching his wife's double scream in pain.
She fell forward and Lapis grabbed her shoulders.
"My niece, Iolite," Lapis said suddenly. "If I can get you to her she can heal you."
'Zangya' looked at the hole in her chest and up at Lapis.
"Hey, your kid Joyaku" She started. "Does he…. ride the animals even when they don't want him to."
Lapis stared at her with a sad look. "Yeah… even when they're angry."
'Zangya' chuckled as she spat blood. "Just like my brother….tell your wife… she's lucky." She closed her eyes as she died.
Lapis had a distraught look on his face, he gently placed her on what little of the island was left. He looked down at her imagining his actual wife.
"Android 17 has defeated Android Zangya! No need to thank me for disposing the trash for you. Congratulations please wait along with your sister for the rest of the participants."
Whoever said that was the one who fired at her.
The Cyborg just watched his wife's counterpart die before his eyes, and with a scream, he powered up.
"Dr. Gero, just wait till I get my hands on you and who fired that." He yelled hoping he heard him.

Simulated Capsule Corp
Iolite threw a fist in 16's face, she then spun kick the other side of his head.
The Android threw a fist up to her stomach.
But the quarter Saiyan dropped to the ground and low kicked 16's leg forcing him to stumble, she then threw a fist up 16's stomach, then his chest, and finally she jumped and punch his face
The Android was pushed back from the impacts.
Iolite decided now would be a good time to unveil her new attack, what she created to incapacitate 16.
She put her palms together and sighed pouring more and more energy in between her hands.
16 aimed his arm cannons at her intending to interrupt what she was doing.
But Iolite's eyes widened and activated another technique she set up.
Infinity Geysers.
The energy blasts that she struck the battlefield rose and headed behind 16.
The Android detected them and turned surprised to see these attacks raced towards him.
"Hell Flash!" He fired his technique to overpower the culmination of energy attacks headed for him.
Just what she needed.
Iolite separated her hands showing an orange Ki ball surrounded by a swirl of golden energy, it looked like a hand-sized sun, a star basically.
This was a technique she created by applying what Zangya told her about how her Psycho energy works. Though it doesn't deplete Ki it has the same idea, it targets the inside of a target, not the out.
This should be enough to neutralize 16, not destroy him but stop him so she can talk some sense into him.
16 can see the lethality of this technique, judging from the way this energy is structured, it should be enough. She must have created that specifically to stop him.
If it hits it will stop him, she will try to make him see sense and then, Cell will-
He smiled, it was nice to see everyone again, and the little girl all grown up.
Iolite was about to fire.

Simulated Planet Hera
21 giggled madly as she backed away from Zangya, this was a war of attrition, all she had to do was wait her out.
Zangya knew what she was doing, now that she knew her technique's weakness she was going to have to be tricky. If she can land enough attacks she can win, plus, her Psycho Threads are effective on her.
This battle could go either way.
But just then 21's eyes glowed, she saw something.
One of her eyes changed from black to white.
"16!" She yelled.
Zangya paused for a moment hearing her say her Android friend.
21 took advantage of her stopping and waved her hand showing an array of buttons and she pressed one.
"What are you-"
Just then 21 vanished leaving behind a confused Zangya.

Iolite lifted her hand showing the swirling star-shaped Ki attack and was about to throw it.
"Hell Star!"
She tossed her new original technique at 16 to immobilize him.
16 only smiled knowing that after this he would be taken to Cell to be destroyed, he only hoped that
Suddenly 21 appeared in front of 16 with her arms out.
"What?!" Iolite yelled as the pink Android just showed up out of nowhere.
Suddenly Iolite's Hell Star hit 21's body.
For a moment nothing happened, but 21 didn't smile it was as though she knew there was more to this.
"Ahhh!" All over her body multiple impacts showed.
Iolite's technique, Hell Star was inflicting damage across her body, pulling at her insides, imploding and exploding at different parts of her body.
It was made to immobilize 16, but on an organic, it had devastating effects.
21 screamed as she got down on one knee, her entire body was still affected by mini explosions.
"21!" 16 yelled which sounded like he was worried.
The Majin Android panted as she turned 16, she felt crippled from the attack, and even though she had a Majin body she suffered massive damage.
When 21 looked at 16 her eyes turned more human, no longer black, she had a smile like she was happy to see 16 alive.
But then her sclera turned back to black and she grinned while turning to her opponents.
"Not bad, you would've beaten 16 with that!" She said grinning.
Iolite was confused hearing that, she knew she'd win, and that's why she stopped it. But why take the attack for him?
"21" 16 said to her. "Why?"
One of 21's eyes changed to white sclera but reverted before looking at Iolite.
"Just so you know, if 16 loses his fight, Dr. Gero has set him to self-destruct."
That made Iolite stop, so much was happening but hearing that set off alarms in her head.
Is that true?
"Why would you tell me that?"
21 grinned while looking at Iolite. "To give you a choice, either win and destroy him or die trying to save him, pick what you want more."
16 growled. "Enough!" She wasn't supposed to know that.
Iolite was confused by 16's outburst, did he know? He knew that if he lost he'd be destroyed.
21 giggled. "Alright kiddos, play nice and remember the rules, there are no takebacks." She looked over at 16. "Just think about what you really want, and if you can, then do it!"
She waved in front of her pulling holographic buttons to press. With a press, she vanished leaving 16 and Iolite to themselves
16 growled as his eyes glowed red his programming once again took over, and he was free for a few moments.
"Iolite…" He paused as he walked forward. "….do it… please."
Iolite was shaken, she thought she could win and save him. But now, if she does win he's set to self-destruct?
No. What should she do?

The Dark Room
Towa frowned seeing that.
"Why did she do that, that wasn't the plan."
Dr. Gero didn't seem so bothered by it, if anything he felt something close to relief seeing another version of 16 surviving.
"This makes them hesitate even more, a proper test of their mettle." Cell responded still grinning. "Wouldn't you agree doctor?"
The scientist kept these human emotions in check and responded accordingly.
"Yes now that these fools know what is at stake, they will either fail to their emotions or be brought further into despair before the end."
He felt that way but was also glad to see his creation survive.
Towa supposed she agreed, who knows maybe some of them will die.

Simulated Planet Hera
Zangya was now only in her green form she had her guard up looking all around her.
She had to be ready for that beam she had before she turned into a snack for her.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
Zangya turned to where she heard that.
And of course, it was the pink Android standing many feet away from her.
"What was that?" She demanded. "Afraid to die?"
21 chuckled with her sharp teeth.
"Oh, I just needed to check on something, don't worry about it."
Zangya could tell that she was low on energy she could kill her right now. Was this a trick?
21 grinned before pressing another holographic button.
Just then Tapion still unconscious from his fight with Lazuli appeared in front of her.
"What?" Zangya was surprised to see one of the other enemies here.
Without warning 21 fired her transfiguration beam at Tapion, his body gave off pink electricity before he vanished.
In his place was a yellow cupcake with red frosting.
"No!" Zangya raced forward knowing what was going to happen, she was vulnerable now, and she aimed her hands unleashing her Psycho State.
21 devoured the cupcake with great speed.
Her eyes widened and a powerful aura was unleashed.
She then vanished before Zangya's threads touched her.
Zangya's eyes widened, her energy was now on another level.
Behind her 21 appeared with a wide grin, her tail ensnared her neck.
"That was a delightful snack, now let's see if you can win now." She giggled before tossing her aside.
Zangya was sent flying with greater force than previously, she caught herself in midair, and she yelled as she used her Psycho State.
Before this battle was difficult now it was nearly impossible to go off by her increased power.
She was grateful to have had three years, now hopefully it won't end with her being this monster's next meal.

Simulated Planet Vegeta
Oozaru Tarble had lifted his arms to block several blows from his nephew. Each blow felt harder and harder.
The monster tried to grab Trunks.
But the Mystic Saiyan flew between Tarble's legs.
He then kicked behind the beast's knee.
This made Tarble buckle over and land on one knee.
Trunks flew up and threw a fist down on the top of the monster's head forcing him to look down.
The normal-sized Saiyan grabbed the tail before pulling.
Tarble screamed as his giant body spun around.
Trunks grunted as he kept spinning and spinning.
He tossed Tarble into the air.
The Golden Oozaru was tossed high into the red sky.
Tarble caught himself and glared down at his target.
Trunks looked up, he could've blasted him, ended him but he didn't. He couldn't not without trying to get to the real Tarble.
"Fool! Your father would have killed me by now! You need to end this now!"
The half-Saiyan said nothing while staring up at the beast.
"Tarble, think back." He tried to reason. "To your wife Gure, would she want to see you speak this way?"
Tarble growled. "Silence!"
"My father." Trunks thought back to the stories he told him during his first year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. "When King Vegeta forced you into the wilds surrounding the palace not letting you return until you learned how to fly, my father helped teach you how to fly."
"What?" Ape Tarble asked. "Nonsense! Vegeta, he would never…"
"Then tell me how you learned how to fly!" Trunks demanded. "Tell me who helped you fire your first Galick Gun! Who tried to convince the King to train you instead of sending you away?!"
Tarble growled as he thought of these questions, he could remember clearly. He learned how to fly by himself… he fired his Galick Gun on his own, though… he kept imagining a shadow a little taller than him with him… was.
With a loud roar, he gripped his head, struggling with these memories, they felt, strange… incomplete! Why?
Trunks covered his ears from the loud roar he was giving off.
Was this working? Is Tarble coming too?
"T-Trunks" Tarble said in a deep voice. "Gero… he's how I can control this form… now he's letting my instincts loose… he's allowing my ape form to…lose con-"
Trunks was astonished it worked, but from what he said he was only in control because it suited Dr. Gero now that he was breaking free of his programming whatever was helping him control his ape form, Dr. Gero was letting the beast run rampant.
Tarble roared now unable to speak.
Trunks looked up at him sadly wondering what to do, his body was producing Blutz Waves, he couldn't cut off the tail, the only way to go through this would be to.
Tarble, now his mind giving into the Oozaru opened his mouth preparing a powerful Ki blast.
This attack would be enough to destroy a planet hundreds of times over, but in this Limitless Fortress would it destroy it to along with his friends and family?
Trunks didn't know but he knew one thing he couldn't risk it.
He hoped that somehow he could survive this.
Trunks powered up and aimed his hands up.
He remembered the Saiyan who came to avenge his father, the Saiyan who showed him a path to master the Super Saiyan form.
"I'm sorry."
He fired a powerful fiery blast upward.
The Ki waves collided and the two pushed against each other.
Trunks yelled as he pushed more and more power into it, so much that Tarble's infinite energy couldn't stop it.
Tarble's entire body was surrounded by light, he let out a roar.
Soon the outcast prince's fate will be decided.

Simulated Capsule Corp
Iolite was now focusing on evasion, she was torn with what to do.
What can she do?
She needs to bring 16 down to try to bring him to his senses. But if she does bring him down he will be destroyed.
Can she find the bomb and remove it? No, she's not Shorz, she wouldn't know where to find it, even less how to remove it safely.
Damn it, why? Why didn't she inherit her father's brains, maybe he could've done it given how Trunks helped Grandma with inventions.
16 raced forward throwing punches and kicks.
"Your mastery of this form is impressive, but you know that your strength will dwindle if you focus on defending."
She knows that was 16 talking, her uncle. That means there has to be hope.
"16! Please!" She begged as she ducked under a punch. "You have to break free! You can stop!"
The Android didn't respond as he kept attacking.
"If you do not stop me" He paused. "Your family will be destroyed."
"You are family!" Iolite yelled at him while raising her arm to block a fist. "You see these clothes? I wear these colors to honor you! I thought I lost you forever! I thought it was my fault that you were destroyed because I was too weak!"
He looked at her green jacket and black shirt, along with green gauntlets and boots.
"You… were a child."
"I don't care!" Iolite yelled as she jumped back. "I won't lose you again! I won't lose anyone! So 16, either break free or destroy me, and I won't hurt you!"
The Android was more affected than he looked, she was willing to risk her own life for him. A machine. Foolish.
What can he do? He was heavily programmed, even more so than when he was activated.
He will need a solution, but what?
16 grabbed Iolite within his arms and started to squeeze in an attempt to crush her.
He can't break free, not as he is, no matter how hard he tries he cannot stop.
Surely there's something, he thought of 21, all that she had said, perhaps something she said can show him away to undo what happened.
She didn't delete his memories of his family, under the guise that he could use it against them.
But is that really why she did it?
If she thought of him as nothing more than a tool why did she take that attack from Iolite? That was fatal, if it was a little stronger it would've crippled her, maybe even destroyed her.
Wait what did she say?
"Just think about what you really want, and if you can, then do it!"
She didn't look at Iolite when she said that why?
Iolite finally broke free from 16's grip pushed against his chest and flipped back.
She was panting, she was starting to be worn down, she wouldn't be able to recover so easily if he landed more attacks.
Do what? 16 thought to himself, he did a self-analysis and realized something.
There was something he could do, but only if he could truly break his new programming.
If this fails he will be destroyed, if it doesn't he will either kill Iolite or be destroyed by her. These odds are not favorable but it needed to be done.
"Iolite, right now." 16 said to her.
Iolite shook when he said that.
"Trust me, please, I think… I think I might have a way but if you do not take me down first… then you may lose everything."
"You're lying," Iolite said simply. "You only want me to kill you."
"I promise I will do my best, but I need you to do yours." He replied. "Please."
Iolite said nothing at first and considered what he said. Even if he was lying if this continued she'd be worn out and maybe killed. How would she help by then? They still have to worry about Super 17 and Super 18. If 16 is helping them would they have a chance?
"Grr" Iolite powered up. "16…. if you're lying, I… I will never forgive myself for what I may do… so you better find a way."
16 knew she was saying that to motivate him.
He'll have to break free otherwise he may cause her… his niece pain.
The Android growled as on the inside he tried to reach something, like a switch, his programming was keeping him trapped like shackles, hopefully, he could do it in time.

Simulated Planet Hera
Zangya was punched across her cheek, she was then slammed in the face by a pink tail and kicked across her face.
She crashed through multiple trees before catching herself.
These attacks are far more brutal, it was now or never if this doesn't work she's done for.
"I don't feel my energy draining anymore!" 21 yelled as she flew forward. "Are you even using it right now?"
She wasn't, she had one more trick, it was something she had meant to use in large groups, on her own.
It couldn't be used with her allies around, thankfully they chose one-on-ones.
"Come on!" 21 yelled grabbing Zangya's head and slamming it down on the ground. She then stood while using her tail to grip her neck again, this time she lifted her up and threw multiple punches and kicks at Zangya as though she were a punching bag.
Zangya spat blood as the attacks got more and more ferocious.
21 smiled before aiming her hand at her near-dead body.
The Hera kicked up her hand forcing it to look up, she then slammed her kick against 21's face.
The Android then let go and frowned not like she was angry but bored.
She looked down at Zangya.
The Hera looked near death, her skin began to change color now teal green with orange hair.
21 sighed. "Really? That's it? You used all your energy didn't you?"
She panted in response glaring up at her.
The pink Android boredom aimed her finger. "Whatever, at least you'll make a good snack, I think I'll pay that little girl a visit next."
Zangya grinned as she pulled her hands. "Web Gather." A new and untested technique.
"Hmm?"
Just then 21 noticed something, she looked around.
Wait.
All around her purple threads were shown on multiple trees surrounding them.
This entire time she was evading her. She was planting these threads all around the area.
The threads were coming closer, there were hundreds, maybe thousands of them.
She didn't use her Psycho State because she was using her threads to spread all over the place like a gigantic spider's web.
These webs were getting were starting to touch her.
21 tried to vanish, but it seemed too late.
All around her body, the threads ensnared her like a mummy.
21 screamed loudly as she felt her newly gained strength drain further and further.
Zangya sighed as she watched her opponent scream in purple electricity.
This was it, either she'd still have energy and kill her or run out.
It was a huge gamble, that hopefully paid off.
The Majin Android shook after having her energy depleted and fell on her back.
Zangya panted as she pushed herself up, she had to be sure that her foe was done.
She couldn't sense much energy from her. And she herself had nothing left.
The Hera grunted as she walked forward to see 21's face.
Her eyes were closed and her power was fading further and further.
Zangya was still wary for if she was faking then she was done for, she had nothing left.
Android 21's eyes snapped open.
Though they had white sclera instead of black.

Simulated Capsule Corp
Iolite and 16 clashed elbows, the impact was enough to make Bulma's simulated home begin to crumble.
The Super Saiyan three pulled her elbow back before throwing a kick to 16's side.
Barely fast enough, the Android blocked it with his oversized arm and threw a fist to her face.
Iolite ducked and threw a fist at his abdomen.
16 grabbed her arm and pulled.
He threw his fist across her cheek.
But Iolite returned the favor by throwing a straight kick into his abdomen.
Both attacks sent the other flying.
The young woman stopped herself and she fired a yellow energy blast.
16 was struck by the blast in his upper torso showing his armor damage and his metal skeleton. She was doing it she was being serious, good, now if he doesn't succeed she at least won't be hurt.
Iolite had a saddened look for a moment but she grits her teeth. He promised he'd do his best to stop his explosion she'll have to hope that he wasn't lying.
She screamed as she raced towards him to damage him further.
16 automatically threw a fist at where she was heading.
But the young woman grabbed his arm and elbowed into his stomach, she then uppercut his chin, spin-kicked the otherwise of his face, then flipped downward and slammed two fists down his head.
16 was suffering more and more damage, he was regenerating but it was clear. Somehow she surpassed his power even after fusing with Androids 13-15. He was proud of her, he was willing to accept his destruction.
Though he thought of what she said, his end would make her distraught. He couldn't allow that.
In his mind he can see it, 21, the last time she inspected his mind when she decided not to delete his memories, she actually gave him a way out, a switch to shut off the power of his own bomb.
But still, he was heavily programmed to leave it be and end those who stand in Dr. Gero's way. Leaving his bomb to destroy him in case of his failure would give Iolite and the rest of the group a mental burden to make them lose focus. In a way, he would complete his mission.
Iolite finished her combo by kicking up the giant Android's head.
16 crashed through the fake Capsule Corp.
The Android tried to move but he needed to regenerate, he had damage all over his body showing his metal skeleton, and half his face was a metallic skull.
Looking ahead he can see it, her palms over each other in front of him.
Iolite looked saddened, he said to fight with all she had and he may be able to save himself. Now would be the time to use her technique again, it would end the battle. But if he lied, she's not sure what she'll do.
"This is it 16, y'know when my parents told me they lied about who the old Androids were it really hurt knowing they kept it from me." It was what made her turn into a Super Saiyan for the first time. "So please, don't let this also be a lie!"
She separated her hand showing the swirling energy blast like a spinning star.
Iolite raised her hand up showing her attack again.
"So do it 16! Save yourself!" She yelled before tossing her attack. "Hell Star!"
On the inside 16 knew this was it, he pulled with all his might, and the virtual shackles started to pull he was reaching the bomb switch, he was about to turn his bomb off, it would be close.
Hell Star was then placed in his chest, then his body glowed and multiple small explosions were happening all over his body.
It was working as Iolite intended he was suffering great damage and becoming more and more immobilized.
Once that happened his fate would be decided, either he had shut off his bomb or his programming proved too strong and would be destroyed.
Iolite looked at him with a worried look, she did it, she did as she asked, now it was up to him. Memories flashed back of her playing with her beloved uncle, she always wished Shorz had spent time with him, she always mounted him.
"Please 16… do it."
16 stopped shaking as his body finally stopped with his small explosions.
Iolite's long hair returned to her long purple hair, and she stepped forward. "16?" Now he'll either be destroyed or…
16 said nothing for a few moments, he lifted his arm to his chest and pulled out a certain part.
The young woman looked at him for a few seconds, was he trying to fight again? Or, did he do it?
In his hand was a device with the Red Ribbon insignia on it, he tossed it aside before looking at her.
His body began to shake and he smiled, it started to crumble.
"No," Iolite said. "No. No. No!" Tears started to form in her eyes as 16 started to bitterly turn to pieces.
Multiple metal parts fell to the ground.
Her eyes widened as tears fell from her eyes.
On the ground was the Gete metal that 13-15 were comprised of.
The rest of the Android stood.
It was 16 in his old green armor and tight black suit.
Iolite was on guard not sure how to react, is the fight still going or is he back?
"16? Are you back now?"
The Android smiled the same way he used to.
Iolite had a big smile and ran to hug the large android at his waist.
16 had a hand on her shoulder with a smile. "You have grown up so much, thank you Iolite, I am sorry for what I've done."
Iolite chuckled looking up at him. "That wasn't you. I'm just happy you're back uncle."
Now their family was truly back together.

Simulated Planet Hera
Zangya was on her knees again looking at 21.
She was awake and the Hera was too weak to do a thing.
But the pink Android hadn't gotten up. Was she faking?
21 waved her hand showing the holographic buttons again before pressing a button.
The Hera panicked was she summoning more Androids?
Just then both 16 and Iolite appeared.
"What the-" Iolite looked around and saw her aunt. "Zangya?"
"Iolite, 16?" She asked looking at her in base form and at the Android now in his old form.
16 was surprised for a moment before looking down at 21.
"So…" 21 coughed. "You did choose them over us…. even though you were heavily programmed."
16 looked down at her. "You put in the option to safely remove the bomb, but you kept my programming intact, why? What was your aim?"
The pink Android had a smile. "I saw how you often would look back at your memories with these people and wanted to see if you could overcome what we did to you to make your own choice. I think… Dr. Gero may have put too much of the original Vomi in me… I thought maybe you deserved a chance to… go back."
16 remembered what she said it lined up with what she said.
21 reached into her pocket and pulled out a vile.
"This… contains the DNA of Gebo." 21 said to him. "Take it to Bulma…. if you win."
16 reached down for the small vial and looked at it. This was enough to make him a human body.
"21… I"
The pink Android's eyes were closed and she didn't wake up.
Zangya could see that her energy was truly gone, her technique had proven enough. She was so confused, why would 21 do that for 16? She did call 16 her son, maybe what she said was true.
Iolite was also confused, so 21 had given him the chance to do it, if it wasn't for her 16 may have been forever lost.
16 closed his eyes as he kneeled before 21's body.
Zangya placed a hand on his shoulder. "Are you alright?" She asked not sure how he felt about the woman that apparently was based on his mother, sort of.
The Android turned to the Hera. "Yes, thank you." He then glanced back at 21 silently thanking her for the chance he needed to earn his freedom.
"Iolite and Zangya have bested their opponents! And 16 seems to have returned to their side!" The strange voice spoke again. "Congratulations, and now only one remains before it is time to move on."
"Tch" Iolite scoffed looking up. "Whoever that is, I can't wait to pay him a visit!" She said annoyed by his words.
Zangya couldn't help but agree and wondered what was going to happen after Trunks finished his own fight.

Simulated Planet Vegeta
Trunks stared up at the cloud of smoke, he fired a good amount of energy, he gave it his all as he had no choice.
Then a figure had fallen, normal size instead of an ape.
He flew up and caught the figure showing Tarble without the top of his armor, his tail was severed.
"Tarble, say something." He pleaded.
Tarble looked at his nephew and chuckled. "Well done, your father would be proud, your blast damaged my core… I can no longer produce Blutz Waves…. please take out Dr. Gero no matter what."
"Tarble" Trunks said as he landed on the ground. His uncle didn't respond, he was gone.
He lost him again.
In the Otherworld, Tarble and Gure had already reincarnated by the time Trunks had shown up. It was bittersweet knowing those two are now alive and living happy lives.
And now seeing him again, he was gone too soon.
"Trunks has bested Tarble! Congratulations to all participants! You all qualify for the true Beyond Games!"
That voice again, he growled hearing that. he enjoyed what he saw, he wanted to see what they were willing to do to end this.
Just then Trunks vanished.

Everyone else did throughout the Limitless Fortress from their respective rooms.
Iolite, Zangya, Android 16, Lazuli, and Lapis all vanished somewhere else.

The Dark Room
Dr. Gero scowled at what he saw. He expected Lapis and Lazuli to win but didn't think Trunks would be able to go past Tarble with his abilities.
The same went for 16 and 21, his 'son' had betrayed him, and his 'wife' gave him the opportunity to do so.
"Why the scowl doctor?" Towa asked with a grin. "This only means the end is here, now all our enemies will be wiped out in one fell swoop." She turned to the main enforcer.
Cell grinned as he stood from his seat and walked away.
"Cell!"
The Android turned to his creator.
Dr. Gero grinned at him.
"Show them a terror beyond imagination!"
Cell grinned at him.
"That is the idea, father."
He walked away towards a doorway.
Towa grinned, now it was time to see all her hard work bear fruit.
Dr. Gero did as well after this all timelines will belong to him.
Cell knew he was outnumbered, but only two of them were a threat.
And should they get lucky, he had his own backup in case they decided to cheat.
As he walked six short individuals chuckled as he continued walking, all of them small and appeared to have blue skin.

Elsewhere
The Z-fighters all appeared in another metal room.
Lapis and Lazuli were in their Super Android forms and made the others jump.
"Relax," Lapis said to them. "It's us." He reverted back to his normal form and height for a moment before going back to Super 17.
All were amazed by it, Bulma's upgrades really did pay off.
Zangya looked between the two towering Androids. "Hm, now you want to be an amazon freak?"
"Shut up imp." Lazuli gave her a playful smirk.
The Hera turned her husband with a staggering height.
"Ooh, the height looks better on you, I could get used to this."
Lapis looked down at his wife before pulling her in for a short hug.
Zangya enjoyed the embrace from her much taller spouse. "Glad to see you to."
"Sorry," Lapis said when he let go. "I needed that."
She could tell what had happened. "You fought my double." She floated to place a hand on her cheek. "You did what you had to do there would've been no chance to stop her."
"I wasn't someone else did it." He admitted. "And, she may not have been as bad as you say."
Zangya doubted that, she knew the cowardly monster she used to be. Still she was touched that he cared for her to spare her at her worst.
Lazuli focused on her own husband explaining Tapion.
"Tapion would've wanted you to destroy him in that state, I would've understood but thank you Lazuli for trying to save him."
She smiled before hugging her husband.
The parents then turned to their daughter and 16.
"You've really grown Iolite." Lazuli smiled. "16, I'm happy to see you with us."
The Android smiled in return.
"Your daughter is who should be thanked for that."
Iolite smiled at her parents and was happy to receive praise from her long lost uncle.
Trunks and Lazuli placed their hands on their first born's shoulders.
"You've proven yourself Iolite, I'm happy we brought you with us." Trunks admitted.
"I'm just happy that we're all back," Iolite said. "But, what happens now? If all they have left is mom and uncle's counterparts then I think it'd be easy right?"
"Assuming they hadn't upgraded them again." Lazuli pointed out. "Remember these same Androids were only stronger than the past Super Saiyans at their point in time, I bet they'd be much stronger, so be on guard."
Trunks agreed though he had to admit with Lapis and Lazuli in their newly acquired forms he was confident they could take on whatever they had.
"Rest assured, you will be facing someone far more worthy."
The voice spoke again and Trunks felt that same chill down his spine.
A door appeared and opened before them.
In walked a tall figure, as tall as the Super Androids but he looked far from human.
It was a figure with armored-looking legs, arms, and a torso with black-looking armor on the upper body with shoulder pads.
His head looked like it had a crown with a jewel in the center.
His face was white with purple lines at the sides, his eyes were purple pupils.
"Congratulations, now we may meet, and you may gaze at my Beyond Form." His gaze turned to Trunks. "And so happy to see you again. Old friend."
Trunks pain in his neck just by looking at him and a familiar sense of dread.
Then he sensed his original.
'Wait, I can feel different energies from him, Broly, Bojack, Hirudegarn, and more.' He continued to feel this strange energy. 'Father, Piccolo, Frieza, Goku and… Gohan.'
He remembered the last time he felt this energy a memory triggered decades ago, the first time he died.
A green monster wrapped his tail around a younger Trunks's neck before breaking it, killing him.
Trunks grabbed his neck, feeling like it was crushed and he remembered Android 13 had said his name.
"Cell?"
And now we're here, the final battle against Beyond Cell.
From a long time ago I wanted Cell to be the final villain of this story since he started it.
Back then I wanted to call his 'Perfect' form his Divine Form but this was before Battle of Gods was even announced and before the concept of God Ki. I wanted to try to implement it but decided that I would go close to my original plans with the story because I wasn't sure how to manage it.
Maybe in my next story I'll give Cell a Divine form. Funny thing I got the concept from another Trunks x 18 story called, Reprogrammed when Cell wanted to create a Divine form only to be killed by Trunks.
So since I didn't use a Divine Form decided to go with Beyond Form, hope you guys like it, gonna post art of it soon.
Anyway this is it, once Beyond Cell falls the story will end, I hope you guys enjoy it.

Shadowwriter01: Thank you, I was originally gonna have Lazuli against Zangya but realized Lapis would have a harder time fighting his wife.
Yep, Tapion not only has to deal with Towa's brainwashing but also his Hirudegarn side. As for Tarble there is still a bit of him but sadly they had failsafes to keep them under control.
Cell figured if they were worth his time they'd get through their opponents unscathed, they'd be worth his time.
Alright guys, the final boss is here, I hope I do this well.
Maybe i can finish before the end of the year but we'll see.
