Title: Cleaning High
Summary: When Rudy leaves the gang to clean the dojo and Kim inhales some chemicals she shouldn't. The rest of the guys discover her too late, when the effects have already settled in. Now they must watch her while they wait for her to return to normal and it's harder than they expect.
Author's Note: Am I posting this as a method of procrastination? Yes. Also, I have a few other things to say:
- I did a little research for this story but like not a ton so don't come at me if you're into chemistry or medical stuff and think this is inaccurate cause it is probably inaccurate.
- if you haven't, you should check out my other stories. i like them.
- i also want to acknowledge I have indeed seen the requests for a scene where Jack retaliates and I do agree it's overdue. I actually have a few continuations/new one-shots where those kind of scenes exist, I just feel like it's not my strong suit but I hear you so I'll do my best to get one of them posted.
- keep the ideas coming if you have some. it gives me something to do when i don't want to do finals.
- i was thinking of making something where Kim saves jack for once just to change it up. you might not see it for a year, but the seed has been planted in my mind. i have no ideas for a plot, but whatever.
- um, have a good day.
- but like actually have a good day.
- i'm being serious have a fantasticday. I love you all and you can do anything you set your mind to. Good luck with finals.
"Last one there has to clean the toilets!" Jerry shouted, running into the dojo.
Kim rolled her eyes. "You guys are so childish."
It was cleaning day and Rudy had neglected to pay the cleaning company so now that pleasure fell to his most loyal and charitable students. They had no greater desire than to clean the dojo of their most favorite sensei. That and Rudy said if they didn't clean it then he would shut down the dojo. It was a little (a lot) extreme but the gang knew there was no getting out of it. One way or another Rudy was going to make them do it.
"Looks like it's Kim's job," Jerry smirked as Kim walked into the dojo last.
"I'm a girl, doofus," Kim said, putting a hand on her hip. "I'm not cleaning your bathroom. I've got my own to worry about."
"Then Milton, you're last. You have to," Jerry said, turning to Milton. "I'm already cleaning the mats, I can't."
"I'm dusting the walls, sorry," Jack apologized.
Milton growled angrily as he stomped to the bathroom. He always got stuck with the worst jobs.
"Oh stop your whining," Kim said. "I don't even get a choice!"
Jack and Jerry just shrugged, not too sympathetic to the others because they really didn't want to get stuck with the bathroom.
Out in the open air, Jack and Jerry had a great time fooling around with a side of cleaning. In the bathrooms, Milton and Kim were secluded in their own world as they scrubbed the dirty floors and wiped the toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
Milton emerged fifteen minutes later, looking for some cleaning chemicals to use since he ran out of everything except Windex.
Jack and Jerry were no help, having used Clorox wipes almost exclusively.
"Kim probably has some," Jack shrugged. She disappeared into the bathroom a while ago and hadn't come out yet so she was probably still cleaning.
Milton sighed as he went to the girls' locker room and knocked on the door. "Kim!" There was no answer so he tried again. "Kim!"
Kim didn't answer but Milton doubted she was actually changing. And Kim was the only girl in the dojo right now anyways. Closing his eyes (because after Jerry walked in on Kim nobody wanted to make that mistake again), Milton opened the door.
"Kim? Do you have the-"
Milton stopped when he heard a light giggle.
Kim didn't giggle like that. But it was her voice.
"Kim?" Milton asked, half afraid of a ghost popping out to haunt him. He peeked an eye open and scanned the locker room, finding Kim sitting on the floor.
When he knew it was safe, he opened his eyes completely and looked down at Kim. There she was, sitting on the floor criss-cross applesauce, and giggling as she rubbed her hand in a pile of suds.
"What the…"
Milton backed away and shut the door, blinking hard. Did he really just see… Shaking his head, he opened the door again, seeing the same thing.
This time he shut the door and backed away.
"Milton? What's wrong?" Jack asked.
"You guys might want to see what Kim's doing…"
Jack and Jerry shrugged as they walked over.
"Wait, she isn't like naked, right?" Jerry asked, still terrified of seeing something he shouldn't.
"Wha- No!" Milton said. "Just, go see for yourself!"
"Okay…"
Jack and Jerry slowly opened the door and found Kim, still sitting on the ground and playing with soap. Milton peeked in behind them, making sure he wasn't the only one seeing things.
"Whaaaat?" Jerry asked with wide eyes, turning to Jack and Milton. "What is she doing?"
Jack and Milton shrugged, puzzled by Kim's behavior.
"Hey, Kim?" Jack asked, stepping into the room. "Whatcha doing?"
Kim turned, seeing Jack and smiling, completely unbothered. "Hey, Jack!" she said with a wave. Some of the suds on her hand flew onto her face as she did so and she sputtered. She tried to wipe it off with her hand, but only got more soap on her face. Then she lifted her other hand and started to rub the soap, making more suds.
The guys watched in confusion as Kim struggled with the soap, finally giving up and sitting with her shoulders slumped and soap covering her face.
Jack turned back to the others. "Why is she… what's that smell?"
"What smell?"
Milton stepped forward and wafted the air, pausing when he smelled it.
"I think I know what's wrong," he realized.
"What?" Jack and Jerry asked.
Milton didn't answer, just looked around and found a pile of chemicals Kim had been using to clean.
He stepped closer, inspecting the bottles before grabbing a bucket and dumping it down the toilet, all while breathing through his shirt.
"She's high," Milton said, flushing the toilet. "She created a volatile solvent, a kind of inhalant. She must have inhaled too much."
"You mean drugs?" Jack asked, concerned. "How much?"
"She's been in here for like twenty minutes," Jerry said. "Who knows how long she's been like this?"
"Well, how long is this going to last?" Jack asked Milton, looking worriedly at Kim.
"I'm not sure how much she inhaled, but probably an hour or so?" Milton guessed. "She should be fine, we'll just have to watch her until the effects wear off."
"An hour?" Jack checked. "Okay. We can do that, right?"
"Right," Jerry shrugged. "Easy."
"Hey, Kim," Jack said, approaching Kim on the floor.
"Hi Jack," she greeted as if he hadn't been watching her for two minutes while they all stared at her and talked.
"Why don't we get off the floor, hm?" he suggested, feeling awkward and unsure how to approach talking with her.
"Hmm…" Kim thought aloud. "No thanks!" she giggled.
"Oka- Wait what?"
Jerry snickered. "She said no, man."
Jack glared at Jerry. "Not helpful." He turned back to Kim, giving her a stern glare as well. "Kim, get off the floor."
Kim shook her head with a frown, laughing when some bubbles flew off her face.
"Kim, you've inhaled a dangerous substance and you are now under the influence of a volatile solvent. Your inhibitions are impaired and we can no longer trust your judgment and self-control. It would be best for your safety if you let Jack, Jerry, and me help you," Milton informed Kim matter of factly.
Kim looked up at Milton and laughed. "Who let the nerd in?"
Jerry laughed with her, smacking Jack's chest. "That was good. She's funny, I like her like this."
"Jerry," Jack scolded. "She won't get up. What are we supposed to do now?"
Milton and Jerry looked at Kim, each other, and then Jack.
"Well… you could just pick her up."
Jack blinked. "It's Kim, though. You know Kim, she won't let me pick her up."
"Yeah but… look at her, man," Jerry said, as if obvious. "She's clearly not the same."
Jack looked at Kim and realized he was right. Hesitantly, Jack approached Kim. He kneeled down next to her, avoiding the mess she made.
"Okay, Kim, up you go," he muttered, grabbing Kim's arm and pulling her up. She dragged her feet, refusing to stand up, so Jack wrapped an arm around her waist and lifted her up.
"Weee!" she laughed, kicking her legs as Jack carried her out the door.
Jack stopped and dropped Kim where she fell in a heap on the ground. Jack panted, looking down at Kim.
"You should wipe your face," he realized.
Kim just blinked blankly and sneezed, failing to cover it whatsoever.
"I'll wipe your face," Jack corrected, going to the guys' locker room to get some paper towels.
When he returned, Kim was right where he left her, and Jerry and Milton were watching from afar.
"Okay, come here, Kim," Jack said, beckoning her over.
Kim stood up and skipped over to Jack, offering him her cheek.
Jack began to wipe the soap off but Kim flinched away.
"That's scratchy!" she complained, refusing to let Jack touch her again.
"Kim, you can't walk around with soap all over," Jack said.
"Okay," Kim said looking around. Then she stopped, smiled, and lifted her shirt, wiping her hand and face on her shirt.
"No!" Jack said, grabbing Kim's wrists. "Stop that! You've made a mess, Kim."
"Yeah, but not on my face," Kim grinned.
"Yes, it is still on your face. Just stay still and I'll wipe it off."
Kim shook her head violently. "No! It's scratchy!" she yelled.
Jack winced at her volume, letting go of her wrists. "Okay, I'll get a soft towel. But no more yelling."
Kim just smiled sheepishly while Jack grabbed a cloth hand towel from Rudy's office.
"Okay, close your eyes," Jack instructed, lifting the towel to her face.
Kim did so while Jack scrubbed her cheeks. Kim scrunched her face up, trying to get away. Jack held her close, ignoring her whimpers. He worked quickly, finally getting her face cleaned off.
"There," Jack sighed, tossing the towel aside. "Done."
"Yay!" Kim cheered, skipping around the dojo.
Jack took a step back out of the circular path Kim was making.
"An hour, you said?" Jack asked, turning to Milton.
"Roughly," he said, watching as Kim made another loop around the dojo.
"This is going to be harder than I thought," Jack muttered.
"Kim, don't eat that!" Jack warned, watching as Kim grabbed a fistful of fuzzy stuffing she got from goodness knows where.
"I wasn't!" she said defensively.
Jack didn't look away, not believing Kim one bit.
Slowly Kim raised her hand, thinking if she moved slow enough Jack wouldn't see.
"Kim."
Kim ignored Jack and suddenly stuffed her face with fuzz.
"No!" Jack yelled, leaping for Kim. "Spit it out!"
Kim shook her head, her cheeks bursting with inedible fuzz.
"Kim, spit it out. Don't make me get Milton and Jerry."
Kim's eyes went wide and she shook her head.
"You don't want me to get them?" Jack asked, surprised his threat worked so well. "Okay, then spit it out."
Kim frowned and kept her mouth clamped shut.
"One."
Kim shook her head.
"Two."
Jack looked around to find Milton and Jerry, spotting Jerry on the bench near Rudy's office.
"Thr-"
Kim spat out all the fuzz and leaped towards Jack, covering his mouth with her hand.
"No! I stopped!"
"Good, thank you. Next time, listen when I tell you not to do something, okay?" Jack said, finding himself sounding scaringly similar to his little sister's babysitter.
"O- Achoo!" Kim sneezed, wiping her snot away with her hand.
Jack winced, a little grossed out.
"Can I have that?" Kim asked suddenly, pointing to some chips in the vending machine.
"You want chips? Are you hungry?" Jack asked.
Kim nodded. "Yes!" she shouted. "Starving!"
"Okay, go sit by Jerry and I'll-"
"No!" Kim said. "Um, can I sit here?" she asked, looking at the chair by the door.
"Okay… Kim, are you… scared of Jerry?" Jack asked, realizing this wasn't the first time she acted like that.
Kim nodded with big, scared eyes.
Jack stifled a laugh before nodding. "Okay, noted. I'll be right back with a snack."
Rather than paying for some chips, Jack went to Rudy's office to grab some from Rudy's "secret" stash.
When Jack re-emerged, Kim was no longer sitting on her chair by the door.
"Jerry, Milton, where did she go?" Jack asked, looking around.
"Kim?" They asked, looking around.
"You lost her?" Jack accused.
"Well you've been watching her this whole time, we thought you had it covered!" Jerry defended.
"You're one to talk, what did you do to her!"
"What do you mean what did I do?"
"She said she's scared of you," Jack informed him.
Jerry snickered. "She's scared of me? And not you or Milton?"
Jack nodded. "Yeah, I think so."
"Ha! Guess we know who the toughest one here is," Jerry said, flexing his muscles.
"Jerry, this is serious, Kim is out somewhere in the mall with very little control over herself. If she gets out she could run into traffic or get herself kidnapped or hurt herself or-"
"There she is!" Milton shouted, pointing outside the dojo.
Jack turned around and saw Kim standing in the middle of the courtyard, spinning around aimlessly.
Jack groaned, getting tired.
"I'll get her," Milton said, feeling slightly bad for Jack.
Jack and Jerry watched while Milton rushed to the courtyard and called after Kim. She turned around and when she saw him she smiled like she knew exactly what she had done.
After some conversation back and forth, Kim stomped back into the dojo in front of Milton.
"Kim, I thought you were hungry," Jack said, holding up the bag of chips.
"Oh yeah!" Kim remembered, skipping over to Jack and forgetting she was upset.
She grabbed the bag at the same time she noticed Jerry standing there. She eyed him warily before snatching the bag and trying to run away. Jack reached out and caught her wrist before she could get farther and pulled her back.
"Now wait a second, Kim. You can't just run off like that," Jack scolded.
Kim frowned. "Why not?" she asked, cocking her head to the side. "I'm 17. I have a driver's license!" she announced.
"Yes, but right now you're not… yourself," Jack explained. "So for now, you need to listen to us. We're trying to keep you safe but we can't watch you if you run away."
Kim frowned as she opened a bag of chips.
"I'm an independent wow-man. I mean woman. I'm an independent woman! Men don't control me!" she said, ending her exclamation by chomping down on a chip.
"Right now, we do," Jack countered. "Now go sit down and eat your chips."
Kim glared at Jack. "You're being mean."
"You're being a little turd. Go sit down!"
Kim stared at Jack before her face crumpled and she dropped her chips, crying.
Jerry slapped Jack's chest, shaking his head. "Bro, you can't yell at her. Come on."
Jack sighed, regretting yelling. He was just getting frustrated trying to deal with Kim when she was acting like she was five.
"Okay, Kim, I'm sorry. Come here," Jack said, wrapping his arms around Kim and pulling her into his chest.
Kim sniffled while Jack gently patted her back, apologizing softly.
When she stopped crying, Jack grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her back to look at her face.
Kim hiccuped, her whole body shaking from the force of it.
"Okay, why don't we do something fun?" Jack suggested.
"Okay," Kim sniffled, hiccuping again. "Can we kiss?"
Jerry coughed behind them, choking on air.
"What did you say?" Jack asked, genuinely thinking he misheard Kim.
"Can we kiss?" Kim asked, eyes peering up at Jack innocently.
Jack coughed, stepping closer to Kim and moving her away from the others. "Um… why- why are you asking that?" Jack asked quietly, painfully aware that Jerry and Milton were still listening in.
"Because we kiss all the time?" Kim said honestly.
"Yes, but…"
"But what?"
"But not in front of the guys," Jack whispered.
It wasn't a secret that he and Kim were dating, but they had been part of a friend group for much longer. It was still a weird dynamic when they acted romantic in front of the guys. When everyone was there, they were all friends. They didn't just kiss in front of the guys.
"You don't love me?" Kim cried.
"Yes, I do," Jack argued. "But we have a rule, remember? We don't kiss in front of the guys."
"But I want to," Kim frowned.
"And we could, but not when you're like this," Jack said, not wanting to take advantage of Kim's state.
"Please?" Kim begged. "I really want to. I really really really really really really really really really-"
"Okay!" Jack said, leaning down to peck Kim's lips.
"Mmm, thanks!" Kim said, skipping away.
Jack closed his eyes and ran a hand over his face. "How long has it been?" he asked Milton.
Milton looked at his watch briefly. "Eight minutes and thirty-seven seconds."
Jack groaned while Jerry just laughed.
"What's so funny?" Kim asked, coming to a stop in front of the guys.
"You're making things difficult for your boyfriend," Milton told her, smirking when he said boyfriend.
"I am?" Kim frowned. "I'm sorry."
Kim let out a big sigh before looking around. "It's hot."
"Not real-"
"Yep. Much too hot," Kim nodded, pinching her shirt and fanning herself. Then her hand flew to the hem of her shirt.
"Kim, no," Jack warned, having an idea of what Kim was up to but not quite believing that she would actually do it.
Kim just responded with a smile as she tugged her shirt up and began to undress.
"Ah!" Milton screamed, taken by surprise by Kim's sudden decision to take off her clothes.
Jerry let out a surprised laugh, covering his mouth as he snorted.
"No!" Jack repeated, running forward and tackling Kim.
Kim whined while Jack wrestled with her, sitting on her as he forced her back into her shirt, despite her protests. Shoving one arm in the armhole after the other, he finally yanked the shirt back down.
When he had her clothed again, Jack stared at Kim a minute longer, waiting for her to stop struggling.
When she finally stopped trying to take off her clothes, Jack scooted off her and let her sit up under his heavy scrutiny.
"I'm sorry," Kim apologized, already aware she was in big trouble after the way Jack was looking at her. She looked down, fiddling with her hands.
"Kim," Jack groaned. "You can't do that. You're a big girl, not a baby, you can't just take your clothes off when you want. There's a window right there, anyone could see you. You don't see me or Jerry or Milton taking our clothes off, do you?"
Kim shook her head, feeling worse. She didn't mean to make Jack mad at her. She just didn't like the feeling of her shirt anymore.
"Okay," Jack breathed out. "You are going to go to Rudy's office, I'm going to close the door, and you're going to wait there until you're better, okay?"
"Okay," Kim frowned.
"Jack," Milton interjected, concerned. "By herself?"
Jack looked over at Kim, muttering a song to herself as she counted her fingers. She sneezed and then hiccuped, almost falling over.
"No," Jack realized. "No someone needs to be watching her at all times. I'll go with her," he sighed.
"Jack, we can…" Jerry tried to say, attempting to be helpful.
Jack shook his head. Kim was his responsibility and he honestly didn't mind watching her. Being high revealed the most basic aspects of Kim's personality and Jack, although tired, was entertained.
"It's okay. I'll watch her. She's scared of you, anyways. You guys just wait out here, I'll let you know if I need help."
Jerry and Milton nodded.
"Maybe if you tire her out she'll calm down?" Milton suggested.
Jack shook his head. "No, I don't want to rile her up even more." He turned to Kim and held out a hand for her. "Come on, Kim, let's go."
Kim looked up at Jack's hand and happily took it.
Jack led her into Rudy's office and shut the blood behind him.
"How about a show?" Jack suggested, looking around for the remote.
Kim grinned deviously. "Yeah, I want to watch a show!"
"Okay," Jack mumbled, looking under the cushions for the darn remote. "Where is it-"
When Jack had his back turned, Kim turned on her heel and grabbed the door handle. She flung the door open and ran out as fast as she could, trying to escape.
"What- Kim!" Jack groaned as he rushed out of the office, chasing after the stubborn and sneaky girl.
Kim giggled innocently as she hurried out of the office and straight for the doors of the dojo.
"Jerry, Milton!" Jack called as she spotted them staring at her figure. "A little help?"
"Oh, right. Sorry," Milton apologized, hopping to his feet and running out after Kim.
When the guys got to the courtyard, they looked around, trying to figure out where Kim went.
"Alright, split up. When you find her, bring her back to the dojo," Jack directed.
Then all three boys took off in different directions. Jack looked quickly, not wanting to lose her. If she got too far it would be impossible to figure out where she disappeared to and who knows what she could get up to on her own.
While he was running past Phil's he caught a glimpse of her, still running away.
Jack sped up, following after her. She ran out of the mall and into the parking lot and Jack caught up to her just as she began to run across the road.
Jack grabbed her arm harshly and yanked her towards him.
"Ah!" Kim screamed, surprised Jack was right there.
As she started struggling against him, Jack tightened his grip and began dragging her back to the dojo.
"Let me go!" Kim grunted.
"I will not," Jack said, ignoring her.
A few people watched the scene, but no one interfered.
Jerry and Milton heard her screams and shouts easily and knew Jack had found her. They followed Jack into the dojo, watching as he pulled Kim in the doors and brought her over to Rudy's office.
Jack flung Kim around to stand in front of him and she immediately tried to get to the door.
"Oh no you don't," Jack warned, grabbing Kim's arms, lifting her up, and slamming her down on the desk like she weighed as much as a pillow.
"Ow!" Kim cried, reaching back to rub her sore bottom. "I don't want to talk to you!" Kim said, trying to get off the desk.
"Well you're going to," Jack said, pushing Kim's shoulders back.
Kim shrank back, realizing Jack meant business.
"Now, you're going to sit here and listen to me good, okay?" Jack demanded. "No more running away, no more taking your clothes off, no more eating things you shouldn't. Do you understand me?"
Kim nodded while Jerry and Milton snickered behind them, never having thought they'd hear those words from Jack directed at Kim.
"Good girl," Jack said patting the side of Kim's leg.
Kim smiled brightly. "Really?"
"Yes really."
"Can I have another kiss?" she asked.
Jack winced again, knowing the guys were there.
"You have absolutely no filter, do you?" Jack asked.
"What's a filter?"
Jack rolled his eyes before obliging. "Come here," he said, offering his cheek.
Kim squealed as she gave Jack a cheek kiss and he returned the favor.
"Thanks!" Kim said, hopping off the desk and hurrying out of the office and toward the doors.
Jack ran out after her. "Kimberly, you turn around right now."
Kim froze, although she was still inching toward the door.
"Or what?" Kim challenged.
Jerry and Milton backed away. They knew not to get too close when Jack and Kim were challenging each other. It always ended in some sort of explosion.
Everyone looked at Jack expectantly, wondering what his rebuttal would be and fearing the worse.
"Or…" he drawled threateningly. "I'll lock you in the office with Jerry."
Jerry and Milton's faces fell, completely disappointed in Jack's reaction. Kim, on the other hand, gasped in horror.
"No!" She said, running back toward Jack with a sneeze and hugging him. "No, don't! I promise I won't run away anymore! Don't make me stay with… him!" Kim begged.
Jack sighed dramatically, pretending to mull it over. "Alright. But if you run away again, you know what the consequence will be."
"I won't!" Kim promised immediately. "I'll stay right here forever! I promise!"
Jack smirked, a little entertained. "Good," he chuckled, rubbing Kim's back. "Thank you. Now, how about a show?"
Kim nodded. "Can we watch it out here?"
Jack thought it over, deciding the threat was enough that he didn't need to worry about Kim running away. "Alright. I'll get the tv out here, you can go look through Rudy's DVD collection."
"Yay!" Kim clapped, skipping over. She giggled again, spinning around in a circle. Then she kept spinning, making herself dizzy to the point that she couldn't walk straight. She laughed at the sensation, crashing to the ground again and again.
The guys pulled the tv and couch out while Kim sat on the ground in a heap, unable to walk when it was all set up, Jack lifted Kim up and guided her over. Jack and Kim sat on the couch while Milton sat on the floor in front of them and Jerry pulled up a chair on the side. Far away from Kim.
Five minutes into the movie, Kim asked Jack for some tissues. Jack looked over, wishing he hadn't, and saw snot running down Kim's nose as she wiped it with the front of her shirt.
Jack handed her the tissues, telling her she should have said something sooner and making a mental note to be cautious of that shirt. It had soap, fuzz, chip dust, and snot all over it now. He hoped it wasn't one of Kim's favorites because it was trashed.
Kim apologized sweetly before cuddling into Jack's side. At first, he eyed her and her shirt, but the longer the movie went on, the droopier her eyelids became and he didn't have the heart to move her.
Halfway through the movie, Kim was completely conked out and peacefully snoring.
Jack let her sleep, relieved she wasn't moving around anymore. He would gladly watch her if all he had to do was keep a movie on.
Then when Milton put in a second movie, Kim began to wiggle and shift. Groaning, she rubbed her head.
"Are you okay, Kim?" Jack asked gently, looking down at her.
Kim sneezed in response, her head jerking painfully as she let out another groan. "Ow…"
Jack reached over to the pile of tissues he had and helped Kim wipe her nose.
Kim tried to swat Jack's hand away, wondering why he thought she was incapable of wiping her nose herself.
But then when Kim started to sit up her head spun.
"Jack…" she groaned. "I think I'm going to be sick."
Jack's eyes widened as he looked down at Jerry and Milton. "Jerry, go get a bucket. Milton, get a cloth and some water!"
Jerry and Milton sprang to action. Seconds after Jerry supplied the bowl, Kim was puking her guts into it while Jack secured her messy hair behind her.
When Kim was done, she sat up, taking the water and towel from Milton gratefully.
"Are you okay?" Jack asked again, rubbing her back.
"Everything hurts," she moaned. "What happened?"
She wracked her memory, but it was hazy and the pain in her head and receding nausea weren't helping either.
"You don't remember?" Jack asked, surprised.
"What?" Kim asked, resting her forehead on Jack's shoulder as she closed her eyes.
"You were cleaning the bathroom. You must have accidentally mixed some chemicals or something," Jack started.
"Why?" Kim asked groggily.
"Kim, you got high off the chemicals. You don't remember anything?" Jack asked, a little concerned and wondering if he should even be telling her this.
"Is that why my head hurts?" she asked, pushing back the tears that wanted to fall.
"Probably," Jack said, looking at Milton for confirmation.
"You'll likely have a headache for a while. The nausea is also normal," Milton confirmed, much to Kim's dismay.
"What happened?" she asked, still struggling to remember anything.
Jack looked between the guys, not answering.
Kim sat up, catching the looks they were sending each other.
"What happened?" she repeated, knowing something happened.
"What didn't happen?" Jack muttered.
"Well, you were terrified of Jerry," Milton said first, finding it amusing.
"Huh?" Kim asked, looking at Jack for confirmation.
"Yeah, I didn't get it either. But you wouldn't let Jerry anywhere near you," Jack explained.
"Hmm," Kim hummed. "Strange. Is that it?"
Jerry chuckled, shaking his head.
"What?" Kim asked.
Jerry just kept chuckling, finding too much pleasure in the memories.
"You also got soap all over yourself, you ate pillow stuffing, ran away, got chips all over yourself, made out with Jack twice, stripped in front of everyone, ran away again, got a scolding from Jack, watched a movie, and now you threw up," Milton listed off, having absolutely no tact.
Jerry giggled again, watching the horror and confusion cross Kim's face.
"I… Wait! Stripped? Jack?" Kim asked, turning to Jack and ignoring the jolt of pain shooting through her head as she whipped to the side. "Made out? Jack, explain right now!"
Jack lifted his hands in defense. "I tried to stop you!" he said. "You said you were hot and just started taking your shirt off! I had to literally tackle you to get it back on."
Kim was horrified at the thought that she had stripped at all in front of the guys. Now they've all seen her shirtless and who knows if anyone else happened to see from the window. And if Jack had to tackle her, she must have really made it difficult.
"And we didn't make out, you asked for a kiss and I tried to say no but you wouldn't stop asking so I gave you a quick peck. That's it," Jack finished with a huff.
Kim groaned into her hands, beyond embarrassed.
As her hands brushed her shirt, she looked down and realized the guys had to be right. Her shirt was disgusting, covered in all kinds of sticky things she didn't want to know about. She pinched the shirt away from her skin, trying to get a better look at it.
"Yeah…" Jack said awkwardly. "Sorry about your shirt. I tried to stop you. You kind of used it as a towel for everything. Soap, chips, snot."
"Ew!" Kim cried, dropping the shirt.
At the sound of Jerry's continuous laughing, Kim shot him a glare. "Shut up!" she hissed, narrowing her eyes menacingly.
Jerry's smile dropped immediately as he backed away.
That made Jack laugh. "Looks like she's not scared of Jerry anymore."
I thought this would be a nice lighthearted story for yall. you should also watch spirit and listen to the soundtrack. that's what I've been doing for like 4 hours.
