After Riff's death,Tony wonders often about how if Riff had listened to him,things could have been different. If he had listened to Tony,none of this would've happened. If he had listened to Tony, the outcome wouldn't have been this. Things would have happened differently if the Rumble never happened,it might have saved Tony the heartbreak of losing his best friend.

Riff survives and watches mournfully as his best friend Tony is hospitalized after nearly losing his life. He does not want to lose Tony,his one and only best friend. Tony survives and reassures him that he didn't lose him,that he was still alive and that he would be okay after he makes his recovery.

After the rumble, somehow Graziella ends up with the bracelet Riff always wore around his wrist. She finds herself making a closer connection with it after finding out she's pregnant and bonding with a dead woman as she goes on her own journey into motherhood.
