I am so sorry for not updating sooner, but school finished for summer yesterday so I will have more time to write from now on
The morning quite was broken with an almighty roar, as Sam Puckett started up her motorcycle. She had spent most of last week moving cargo crates into an obstacle course for her bike, and last night she had finally completed it. As she began to weave in and out of the boxes, an angry shout filled the air
"SAMANTHA PUCKETT!" Sam glanced over to the door into the main part of the ship as she stopped her bike and called back
"Sup Tori"
"Sup? SUP?" Tori began to storm over to Sam, dressed in a fluffy dressing gown and spotty slippers "It is five in the morning and you are on your stupid machine, waking the whole ship up and all you can say is SUP?"
"Hey, calm down, I haven't woken the whole ship up. Cat got up early to feed her chickens, and Andre is driving the boat-"
"Does it look like I care?!" Tori shrieked "I am tired, and hungry and you and your stupid motorbike are not helping!"
"Never," Sam growled in a low voice "call my motorbike stupid. This was given to me by my best friends older brother and by calling my bike stupid, you call them stupid, and no one insults Sam Puckett's family" by now everyone else had come out to see what all the shouting was about. Cat was leaning on the side of the boat while Jade and Beck sat on one of the cargo crates, arms wrapped around each other. Freddie was sitting crossed legged on the floor and Trina was filing her nails boredly.
The argument got more and more heated as the two girls began yelling insults until Trina marched up to them and yelled "Shut up! You are giving me a headache!"
"Oh, am I giving poor little Trina a headache" Sam mocked
"Yeah, so shut it"
"Make your sister shut up first"
"FINE! Tori, shut up" Trina turned to the brunet
"TRINA! You are meant to be on my side" Tori said outraged. As the three girls began squabbling a small voice spoke up
"I- I should probably tell you" Cat said although no one was listening "when people get into arguments, I- I sometimes-" and with that Cat fell backwards off the edge of the boat
"Guys" Freddie said, eyes wide as he looked at the spot that Cat had just disappeared from "Guys. Guys! GUYS!" Everyone fell quiet as they looked at him "Cat just fell overboard" there was a moment of silence before everyone started shouting and running over to the edge of the boat. Robbie tried to jump after her, but Beck pulled him back. They could here Cat's screams for help as she tried to swim after the boat
"Beck! Go tell Andre to stop the stupid boat!" Jade screamed at her boyfriend who began to run into the main part of the ship
"Someone get a life ring!" Tori yelled. As everyone shouted loudly, Sam screamed over the din,
"GET OUG OF THE WAY!" As they pulled back from the railing, Sam threw of her boots and took a running dive over the decking into the water below
"SAM!" Freddie cried. As he peered down, he could see a blonde blob moving towards a red blob. A life ring went sailing over the railing next to him as the boat came to a stop. Once the two tiny girls had grabbed onto it, the two boys began to pull them towards the boat. Finally, they were close enough to reach the metal ladder down the side. Sam attempted to push Cat up onto it, but the red head had barely managed to climb 5 rungs before falling back in. Suddenly Jade shouted,
"help me open this box!" Tori and Trina ran over to her and soon came back holding two bungee cords and harnesses. Throwing the harnesses down, Jade yelled "put the harness on Cat and we can help pull her up!" Freddie could see Sam frantically strapping the harness onto Cat's tiny frame
"Pull!" Sam's scream was carried on the wind as the five people on the deck began to pull Cat up as she climbed up the ladder. Ignoring the second harness that had been thrown down, Sam began to climb up behind Cat, giving her shove whenever she slowed down. After what seemed like years, a small tuft of red hair could be seen appearing over the railing. Running forward, Robbie pulled Cat on to the deck. She swayed on the spot for a second, opened her mouth, and collapsed in a heap on the deck. Letting go of the bungee cord, the girls rushed to Cat, while Robbie and Freddie ran to the edge of the boat to see Sam. Before they could move two steps a small hand grasped the railing as Sam pulled herself onto the boat. She sat slumped on the floor, looked up at the two boys and said breathily "Got any ham?" With a sigh of relief, Freddie hurried forwards to help Sam up, as Trina ran to get towels for the wet girls. As they made it into the cabin, Trina came back with two enormous fluffy towels and Beck and Andre. Tori walked over to the two girls who sat huddled together on the sofa and looked at Sam
"Thank you" she sighed reluctantly "you just saved one of my best friends from drowning when you could have easily ignored her. I'm sorry I shouted at you earlier, I'm just sick of being cooped up on this boat with nothing to do, while you have an awesome motorbike and have made an insane course to ride it on."
"Hey, it's cool" Sam said "I can teach you how to ride it if you like"
"I would love it" Tori grinned
"Catrina Valentine, you are never leaving my sight again" Jade said fiercely, hugging Cat close to her "where is that bungee cord and harness?"
"Here" Beck said holding it up. Jade snatched it from his hands and put it back on Cat before tying the end of the cord to her wrist
"You are either tied to me, Sam or an object in the room you are in okay" she said firmly "and only me and Sam are allowed to untie you okay"
"What about me?" Robbie said hopefully
"Only me and Sam" she repeated eyeing Robbie skeptically
"Hey, can someone tell Missy to get me a ham" Sam interjected
"Sure thing" Andre called, walking out the door
"Thanks for saving me Sam" Cat piped up from under the pile of towels covering her
"Anytime Cat" she sighed "How much longer have we got on here?"
"Five weeks" Tori groaned "Five weeks until we get to Italy"
"Carly, here I come" Sam said
"When did you meet Carly?" Cat asked
"I'll tell you tomorrow" she said
