Rise of the Reaper part 14: personal space

Several weeks have passed since Jada and Cinder were stripped of their guardian status. Tulos and Oracle were just relaxing at her place, the AC was at full blast due to a heat wave hitting the common area of the tower. "Damn I wonder when it's gonna cool down," Tulos said after wiping sweat off his head. Oracle sighed. "Yeah, I hope the cool down happens soon," Oracle said, "I don't do well when it comes to hot weather." Tulos looks over at Oracle, concern spreading across his face. "Is the reason behind it is because you're an exo?" He asked. Oracle solemnly nodded her head. "Yeah, usually machines don't work well in heat," Oracle said with a saddened expression on her face. Tulos put his hand on his girlfriend's shoulder. "Something's gotta give about the weather eventually," Tulos said in a comforting tone. Oracle stood up and went over to her dresser to grab some clothes to put on. "We could head to the bar and invite Reaper and Rose," she said as she put on a bra. Tulos walked up behind her and kissed Oracle on the cheek. "Let's message them and see what they say," he replied as he smacked Oracle lightly on her butt, causing Oracle to giggle a little bit. Oracle summoned Noir. "Hey Noir," Oracle said, "contact Rev and ask him if Reaper and Rose want to join Tulos and I at the bar?" Noir nodded. "At once, Oracle," she said as she contacted Rev. Two minutes later, Noir spoke again. "Rev said that Reaper and Rose wanted to spend some quality time by themselves tonight," Noir said sadly, "sorry Oracle." Oracle nodded solemnly. "It's okay Noir," she said, "some people need peace and quiet every now and then." Tulos got dressed and put on his shoes before going into the common area of the house to sit in a chair. "We could always go by ourselves to the bar," he said as Oracle came out of the room wearing a tank top, shorts, and sandals, "it could be an outing for us alone." Oracle smiled and took Tulos by the hand. "I would love that," she said as she grabbed her purse, "let's go." They stood up and left their house, making their way to the bar. Entering the bar, they walked up to barkeep to place their orders. "Two cups of green tea with lemon Barkeep," Oracle said as she and Tulos took their seats at the bar. Barkeep nodded and immediately got to work on their drinks. Not even five minutes passed and their drinks were ready. "Two green teas with lemon for the two warlocks," he said, sliding the drinks to them, "so Tulos, why are you hanging out with Oracle?" Tulos set his drink down after almost taking a small sip. "Jada and Cinder were stripped of their status as guardians and were arrested for trying to attack Oracle and her teammates as well as the vanguard themselves," Tulos said as he picked up his drink and took a sip from it. Barkeep was shocked. "Jada and Cinder attacked the vanguard?" He asked. Oracle nodded. "Not to mention Jada slit Tulos's throat right in front of me," she said, "that got my circuits heated, to say the least." Tulos placed his hand on her shoulder. "You had every right to be pissed off," Tulos said, "I was killed right in front of you; so yeah, if that happened to you that would piss me off too." Oracle looked at Tulos. "If Cayde or the rest of the vanguard stepped in when they did, I would've beat that bitch into oblivion," she said, "so she should've counted her lucky stars." As soon as Oracle finished her rant, Reaper and Rose walked into the bar. "Hey guys," Reaper said. Oracle turned her head to see them walking up to the bar. "Hey you two," she said, "what took you two so long to get here?" They shrugged. "Well when you hit us up earlier we were fixing to hop in the shower together to try and cool off," Rose said. Oracle and Tulos were embarrassed. "Oh, sorry about that guys," Oracle said. Let's just say if Oracle was human, she'd be blushing like hell. "Don't be guys, this heat is unbearable," Reaper said, "besides Rev said that the speaker may want the four of us to investigate the moon either tomorrow or the day after." Tulos got excited. "It's about time we get a mission," he said. Rose got curious about the weapons Tulos used. "Hey Tulos," Rose said, "what weapons do you use?" Tulos looked at Rose suspiciously. "Why do you ask my dear?" He asked her. "Well, we all use different weapons, so we were wondering if you use different weapons as well," she said. Tulos thought about Rose's comment before answering. "Well I use a hand cannon as a primary, a fusion rifle as a secondary, and a rocket launcher for my heavy weapon," Tulos said as he finished his tea. Rose nodded at that. "Well that's interesting to say the least," Reaper said. Tulos was curious at Reaper's comment. "Why do you say that man?" Tulos asked Reaper. "Well, I use a pulse rifle, Rose uses a scout rifle, and Oracle uses an auto rifle while you use a hand cannon," Reaper commented, "and if I remember correctly, there were four different primaries that Banshee-44 let you choose from when you got a new weapon from him; in short, we all have different primary weapons." Tulos turned to Reaper. "I can sense a 'but' coming," he said. Reaper nodded. "But aside from you and Oracle using the same secondary, we all have different backup weapons: Rose having a sniper rifle, you and Oracle having fusion rifles, and I myself having a shotgun, that should cover all the secondaries," Reaper said, "as for heavy weapons, you and I have rocket launchers while the ladies are using machine guns." Tulos nodded in amusement. "Now that's interesting," he said with a smirk. Reaper stood up and stretched. "Well, it's been fun, but I think Rose and I are gonna turn in early for tonight guys," he said, taking Rose's hand in his as they walked away from the bar leaving Oracle and Tulos at the bar by themselves. Shocked by her teammates' actions, Oracle turns to Tulos. "Well what about us?" Asked Oracle, "what do you think we should do?" Tulos stood up and took Oracle by the hand. "Well if we're not doing anything tomorrow," tulos said, "I could take you shopping for new underwear and bras if you want." Oracle was shocked to say the least, but playfully smacked Tulos on the shoulder. "You don't even know my size," she said giggling, "although if you asked, I wouldn't mind telling." Tulos laughed. "Well why don't you tell me at a more private location," Tulos replies. Oracle just giggled in excitement. Once Tulos and Oracle got back to their place, Tulos couldn't help but reach his hands under Oracle's top, trying to unfasten her bra to find out her size. "My, my, someone's a little hasty," Oracle said as the door opened and they spilled into the living room, "if you must know, I'm a 40DD." Tulos just sat there, jaw-dropped. "Did you just say your bra size was 40DD?" He asked, shocked. Oracle giggled as she took off her top and bra in one fluid motion, letting her breasts bounce a little. "Do you like the view?" She asked shyly. Tulos crawled over to Oracle, taking her breasts in his hands and gave them a gentle squeeze, causing her to moan softly. "Has any record shown that a human and exo can coexist?" He asked, "like sexually speaking of course." Oracle shrugged as she stood up, lightly shoving Tulos off her. "Let's just get to bed," she said as she pushed her shorts and thong down, revealing her naked body to him. "Are you suggesting we sleep naked?" Tulos asked. Oracle giggled. "Rose told me that she and Reaper sleep naked almost all the time, even on hot nights like this, and usually without a blanket," she said. Tulos quickly stripped down and climbed in bed with Oracle, but before he shut his eyes, he pecked Oracle on the cheek. "Goodnight, babe," he said. Oracle returned the kiss. "Goodnight, honey," she said as they laid down and slowly drifted off to sleep.
