Back on the Arc

"I guess we have to get things together. Is it a bad thing that we will have two of our best doctors on the ground?", Monty asked Jaha.

"We don't have a choice. Abby requested Jackson for a reason. If she and Clarke need Jackson then something must be going wrong with Raven.", Jaha said to Monty.

"Hopefully the three of them can save her.", Monty said to Jaha.

"The two of them will not let anything happen to Raven. I should inform Sinclair of what's going on as well.", Jaha said to Monty.

"Do you think that's wise? He's going to want to go down there with Jackson. Raven's like a daughter to him.", Monty said to Jaha.

"He might want to go but he won't. Her being like a daughter to him is exactly why I need to tell him.", Jaha said as he walked out of his office.

"How are you going to keep him here?", Monty asked Jaha.

"I'm not, if he wants to go down he can. I was an engineer before I was Chancellor. I can help get everyone down to Earth. Plus with Raven out of commission we'll need another pilot down there.", Jaha said to Monty.

"Good point.", Monty said as Jaha left his office.

"Jackson, you are needed on Earth with a few machines.", Jaha said to Jackson as he walked into the medical wing of the arc.

"Who got hurt?", Jackson asked Jaha.

"Raven, from what I gather it's not looking good either.", Jaha said to Jackson.

"Has anyone told Sinclair?", Jackson asked Jaha.

"I'm heading to him after this.", Jaha said to Jackson.

"Good, he needs to know. When am I leaving?", Jackson asked Jaha.

"Clarke will radio us once she and Octavia are ready to come up. So be ready, here is the list of machines Abby is requesting.", Jaha said as he handed Jackson a piece of paper.

"I'll be ready.", Jackson said as he took the piece of paper from Jaha.

"I'll come pick you up when we're ready. I'm going to inform Sinclair about Raven.", Jaha said to Jackson.

"Sounds good.", Jackson said as Jaha left his office.

"I heard you were looking for me.", Sinclair said to Jaha.

"We need to talk. Come to my office.", Jaha said as they walked into his office. "Monty, will you give us a moment please.", Jaha asked once they stepped into the office.

"Yes, Sir.", Monty said as he left the room.

"Is it about Raven? Just tell me she's still alive.", Sinclair said to Jaha.

"She's alive as of right now. She got shot by an arrow. I'm assuming in her spine since Abby and Clarke have done surgery on her twice already. We're sending Jackson down with equipment for them, they apparently need to do another surgery. Sounded pretty serious, I figured you would want to know maybe go down with Jackson.", Jaha said to Sinclair.

"Thank you for letting me know. Do you think it's wise for me to go down there?", Sinclair asked Jaha.

"I think you should. She's your daughter, I think you need to be there in case this goes south. We have it covered up here. You need to go down there for Raven.", Jaha said to Sinclair with a warm smile on his face.

"Thank you, when is Jackson set to leave?", Sinclair asked Jaha.

"Once Clarke radio's back. I would go get packed now.", Jaha said before Sinclair left his office.

"How did he take it?", Monty asked once he came back into the office.

"Just like I thought he would. He's going to go down with Jackson. Once we hear from Clarke.", Jaha said to Monty.

"Good he needs to be there.", Monty said as he sat down near the communication system.

"Arc come in.", Clarke said over the communication system.

"We're here, Clarke.", Monty said into the radio.

"We have Raven as stable as we can get her. We sent Kane and Octavia back to the drop ship. They should be to you within the hour. We have a time limit so please make sure they're only up there for a short amount of time.", Clarke said on the radio.

"Jackson has everything ready to go. All we need to do is get everything onto the dropship. We told Sinclair, he'll be coming down to Earth with Jackson.", Jaha said to Clarke on the radio.

"Good. I figured you would tell Sinclair. I was expecting him to come. We'll contact you once we have Raven stable.", Clarke said into the radio.

"Good luck, we'll speak soon.", Jaha said to Clarke.

Back on the ground

"How are we moving Raven?", Lincoln asked Abby and Clarke

"We'll have to make a gurney like we did in the past. I have a parashoot in my bookbag. We'll have to go find some long tree logs.", Clarke said to Lincoln.

"Lincoln and I will go look for logs. You and Abby get her ready to leave.", Lexa said to Clarke as she and Lincoln left the hut.

"Are we packing her or are we closing her up again?", Clarke asked her mother.

"I think packing her will cause less trauma to her body than opening her back up for a third time. Though we're risking infection if we do that.", Abby said to Clarke.

"We're risking infection no matter what at this point. We opened her up too many times. We have antibiotics coming with Jackson. We have some to start. I don't think it's wrong to pack her. We can get to work right away when we get to Polis if we do that. Gives her more of a chance to live.", Clarke said to Abby.

"I agree. Let's get to packing her.", Abby said as she and Clarke got Raven ready to travel.

"You better not die on me. I will bring you back just to kill you myself.", Clarke said to Raven as Lincoln and Lexa came back into the hut with two large logs.

"I believe these will be officiant enough.", Lexa said with a smirk on her face.

"Overachiever.", Clarke said with a laugh to her voice.

"She's always been. That's why she won her Conclave.", Lincoln said with a smirk.

"I won the Conclave because Luna skipped out on it. She would have won hands down.", Lexa said as she glared at Lincoln jokingly.

"No bickering. We have to get her ready for traveling.", Clarke said as she and Abby finished packing Raven up.

"Just being playful, my love. Are we ready to go?", Lexa said with a small smile on her face.

"We just have to wait for Miller to come. Mom, are we good otherwise?", Clarke asked Abby.

"We're as good as we're going to get.", Abby said to her daughter as Miller came into the hut.

"I hear I'm needed?", Miller asked.

"Yeah can you and Lincoln help make a gurney? We have to move Rae.", Clarke said to Miller as she took the parashoot out of her bag. "We can take shifts so we don't get tired.", Clarke said to Lexa, Lincoln, and Miller.

"Sounds good.", Miller said as he and Lincoln got to work on the makeshift gurney.

"Lincoln and I will carry her first?", Miller asked Clarke.

"Sounds good. Lexa and I can switch off with whoever needs a break.", Clarke said to everyone.

"I think we're ready to transfer Rae onto the gurney.", Miller said to everyone.

"How long do we have?", Clarke asked her mother.

"I'm not sure. We just have to try and make this a quick trip.", Abby said to her daughter.

"It usually takes an hour to get to Polis from here. That's without stopping. We'll need to stop at least once given the weight of Raven plus the gurney.", Clarke said to her mother.

"Don't worry about the time. We just need to get her to Polis as quickly as we can.", Abby said to her daughter as they began to move Raven onto the gurney.
