A bright moon was shining down on a foggy forest with a massive lake, it would've been a very serene sight if not for a ten year old. "CANNONBALL!", Ben exclaimed as he dived into the lake, wearing simple red swim trunks. "Ben Tennyson makes a perfect dive! All 10s! the crowd goes wild!", he said with his arms in the air.

Gwen looked at him with an unimpressed look on her face, aiming a flashlight at him. "More like a perfect dweeb."

"C'mon dive in! The water is only a little cold.", Ben jestered as he floated in place.

"As if, who knows what slimy creatures are lurking around in there.", Gwen waved her flashlight around only to stop at Alex just floating along the surface of the water. "Wait, when did you even get in there?"

"Like, few minutes ago. Just kinda drifting along y'know.", Alex said as he did just that and kept drifting.

"What's the point of camping by a lake if you're too scared to get wet.", Ben said as he splashed Gwen with the cold lake water.

Gwen flinched before turning off her flashlight. "Whatever, get dragged by some lake monster for all I care.", she stated in a huff before stomping back to the RV.

"Oh please, there's no such thing as Lake monsters.", Ben said with the utmost confidence.

Alex let out a sigh as he felt as if Ben cursed them once again, with the disturbance of the water quickly noted, the teenager dove underneath before emerging back. "Yeah you might wanna go back to the RV.", Alex said as he primed the Omnitrix and quickly turned into Pummel.

"What? Why?"

Pummel looked at the massive tendril wrapped around his torso. "Oh no reason.", he casually stated before being dragged underwater by some massive creature. To which, Ben immediately swam to shore without a second thought.

Pummel found himself in the middle of the vastly deep lake, frantically looking around as a massive creature swam by him. He was immediately dragged by the tendril again to be face to face with a large, blue eye stared at him, its glossy almost empty eyes pierced through him as if it was demanding something of him.

Rather than drown, Pummel cocked his fist back and punched the creature with so much force it split the lake water, allowing him a moment to breathe before being enveloped by it again. Using his powerful muscles to swim through the lake, he quickly made it to shore without the creature attempting to attack again.

"Wonder if that's the inspiration for the Loch Ness Monster, or something, maybe there's more. Fuck if I know.", the red four armed alien states before walking back to the RV, he looked at Ben through a window as he shook his head.

"Damn, ugh, that's just peachy.", Pummel sighed as his large frame fell onto the dirt with an annoyed expression, planning on laying at that exact spot for the next 13 minutes as that encounter and the swim back barely put a dent in the time limit. "Shit on a stick."

"No really, it was humongous with some red glowing eyes!", Ben described the creature as best as he could, or at least going from Alex's own description considering he's never seen it.

"I dunno about red, but still it was really big.", Alex said as he held his arms out wide. "Like this big."

"I'm sure it was just some kinda big fish.", Max stated with a smile as Alex felt personally attacked as it was the cause for him laying outside for 13 minutes while also drenched.

"Yeah, give the mega fish story a rest.", Gwen utters with an annoyed huff, she's dealt with Ben's antics before of his overactive imagination. "It's like that one time you said you saw Big Foot."

"Not my fault Uncle Manny doesn't shave his back!", Ben furrowed a brow before an idea sparked in his brain, he looked at a bucket of worms and smirked. Before digging his hand in and holding it out to Gwen, who jumped back and gagged. "Breakfast?"

"Ugh, Ben, that's so gross! Please tell me we're not eating worms for breakfast... again.", Gwen slumped over and rubbed her stomach at the thought of eating live worms.

"Nah, it's bait for fishes so you're good.", Alex reassured her patting her back. "Though we need to make sure Max doesn't try eating it first.", he taps his chin remembering the time he did snack on bait.

"I'll pass on all the fishing. I'll stay here and catch some sun instead.", Gwen said as Alex tilted his head in confusion.

Alex looked at her, then at the cloudy sky. "Okay, I get it but... with what sun?"

Gwen immediately turned red in embarrassment. "Oh, shut up!", she exclaimed as she stomped off, Alex just finding nothing but amusement from her reaction.

"She doesn't know what she's missing.", Max said with a sigh before the three turned to a man with greyish-green hair on both the sides of his head as well sideburns. His chin is stubbled. He is wearing a regular tan fisher jacket and olive pants. He has a red baseball cap with a tan rectangle on it. "Captain Shaw?"

"Who wants to know?" Shaw looked back with an annoyed expression, he spoke with a slight Scottish accent.

"I'm Max Tennyson, this is my grandson Ben and this is a family friend of ours.", Max said introducing themselves, Alex was just looking around while Ben waved. "We chartered your boat today for a fishing trip."

"Well what are ye watin' for? An engraved invitation? Get aboard, I ain't got all day.", Shaw said as he walked off to start the boat up.

Ben hopped right on, Max joining soon after. "Having second thoughts about this.", Alex muttered as he just hopped on with a blank expression.

The fishing boat sailed across the vast and expansive lake, the dock vanishing slowly in the distance as they rocked along the steady current. "So... anything interesting to catch out there today?"

"More then you can imagine. Looks like your boy is using his breakfast as chum.", Shaw said as Max turned to see Ben's head hanging off the railing and looking down at the water.

Max cocked his eyebrow at Ben as he placed a hand on his back. "You alright, Ben?", Max asked concerned, as he should be.

"Just keeping an eye out for the lake monster that attacked Alex last night. That thing ain't getting the jump on us this time.", Ben said with full seriousness on his face, to which Alex just gave a shrug. Ben jolted up as he saw something floating towards them. "Woah, there it is!"

Alex peered next to him and sighed as what floated past them wasn't a dangerous creature, it was a few branches. "Now Ben, this is a fishing trip. Not a monster hunt.", Max patted Ben's back.

"It's called the Krakken.", Shaw said as he pulled out a photo and handed it to them. The picture itself reminded them of the Loch Ness Monster, but with the silhouette looking more wider with large tentacles on it. "Been huntin' this thing for years. Folks say my rudders not right."

"No surprise.", Max stated with an ounce of hesitation.

Shaw ignored Max's comment. "Sightings go back hundreds of years on this very lake. Some say it's a myth, not me. I'll take you to the spot I laid eyes on the beast, if you've got the stomach for some real adventure.", he said with a little smile as Alex and Ben looked up at Max.

"Fine.", Max relented with a sigh as Ben pumped his fist in the air in victory.

Alex looked at the equipment Shaw had installed into his boat, he remembered a friend of his father having a similar set up like this. "Sonar, high definition video set up, ultrasound. Wow, you're really prepared for this thing."

"Yeah, I got it all. I'll find it, mark my words, it won't hide forever.", Shaw said with his eyes facing ahead.

"Okayyy.", Alex, now throughly weirded out by the elderly fisherman went back to the Tennyson men.

"I don't want you to put any stock into what Shaw says, I don't think he has both oars in the water... if you know what I mean.", Max said specifically to Ben, though he needed to make sure it felt like he was talking to Alex as well. In which Alex noticed, with a thumbs up.

"Why? Just because he saw the Krakken to?", Ben crossed his arms as Alex just facepalmed.

"I'm gonna be honest with you, he's gotta be like, deranged.", Alex stated with little, if any care if Shaw heard.

They are then nearing their destination, though they find the area cordoned off by yellow tape, wrapped around cones strung along to stop anyone from entering. "Do not enter?! What's goin on?"

"Looks official.", Max crossed his arms looking at it. "Maybe we should turn back.", he said scratching his chin.

"Bullshit! This is my lake and I'll go wherever I-", Shaw's need to retaliate was cut off quickly and swiftly by a rather calm voice.

"Fishing boat, stop where you are.", a man said as another boat pulled up besides them. A tall and tanned man with a hawk-like nose. He has a stern-like face having tear troughs and dark lining around the eyes, giving him an almost tired look. He has short, dark brown hair and a spiky goatee. He was wearing a cyan uniform with black accents and boots with his name and logo on it. "My name is Jonah Melville, the founder of Friends of Fish. We closed this section of the lake for environmental study. You have to turn your boat around.", he says with a very cordial demeanor.

"'Suppose you make me, fish hugger!", the fisherman said with an angered expression exacerbated by the wrinkles on his face.

"Well since I've chartered the boat for the day, I suppose I'm the boss around here. Ain't that right Captain?", Max stated with a smug smile as Shaw just muttered and went back to the steering wheel.

"But what about the Kraken?", Ben looked up at Max with a frown on his face.

Melville just laughed. "The Kraken? Ah that's just an old fish story. I've been at this gig for a while, so anyone who tells you they've seen a monster is casting without a hook.", he said as he and one of his co-workers went back in.

Melville and his crew began escorting Shaw's fishing boat out of the immediate area and back towards the docks. Suddenly however, a low toned beeping rang out in the small cabin. "The sonar! We've found something.", Shaw looked down at the green screen to see an object heading towards their boat.

"Or something found us, look!", Ben pointed outward at a reasonably large dorsal fin rapidly approaching the ship.

Shaw recognized this immediately. "The Kraken!", a massive silhouette sped past the boat, shaking it violently. "It's heading for the docks!", Shaw grabbed onto to something so he wouldn't bang his head on any of his equipment... or in general.

"Gwen!", the three passengers exclaimed to each other. Shaw noticed this and immediately started blaring the air-horn.

This didn't go unnoticed by Gwen clearly, she let out an annoyed huff as she was sitting at the edge of the docks letting her feet dangle off. Ugh, how many times are they gonna think I'll fall for it-!?"

That's when the Kraken erupted out of the water, no longer obscured by the darkness and was revealed to be a giant, bipedal creature which was specified to live underwater. It has four webbed legs and a tail with a fin, and two tentacles coming out of her mouth which act like two extra arms. It has blue eyes, golden teeth, six gills on it's neck, and the upper part of it's body is dark cyan, while the lower part is olive. The Kraken roared as it destroyed the docks, sending anyone standing on it into the water below.

"I told ya! It's real! The Kraken lives!", Shaw exclaimed, looking at the creature through his binoculars.

"Sail now, gloat later. Someone needs to rescue those people.", Max said turning to Alex, who had one eye closed and began pointing at the people landed in the water.

"Ten, eleven, twelve people.", Alex muttered counting the people before activating the Omnitrix, quickly hopping up onto the edge of the boat. "Did you know it takes only sixty miles per hour to run on water?"

"Really, I thought it would be more.", Ben said slightly confused.

"That's what I said!", the teenager says as he hopped off the boat as a green flash followed this. TopGear immediately sped off across the water at high speeds, it took him a second to balance himself but quickly caught it. Rushing past at blinding speeds.

Gwen once found her self swimming, but once she blinked she was on the shore. "Wuh-", she snapped back to reality as she looked up at TopGear.

"Get back to the Rust Bucket, me, Ben and Max will meet up with you.", TopGear hissed before vanishing, a delayed strong gust of wind knocking Gwen away.

"HEY! YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!", Gwen exclaimed.

Before the Kraken could swipe at a group of them, TopGear zipped by and picked them up before zipping away and placing them on the shore. He noticed how the Kraken dove back into the water and chased after the Friends of Fish.

"Alright.", TopGear popped his neck before zooming off again and effortlessly caught up to them. Right as the boat was sent back by a large splash from its tail. The Kraken attempted to go in for another attack but was quickly deterred by a massive tornado whirling in front of it, causing it to dive back into the water. Using his momentum, he managed to catch himself and hoist himself onto the boat.

TopGear, Melville and his co-worker Jack looked over to see the Kraken rip open a tarp, grabbing a crate titled CANNERY and dragging it over. Melville dove in and grabbed the crate, attempting to pull it back but failing. "No you don't!", Jonah exclaimed desperately.

"What in the world?", TooGear tilted his head and zipped in again, grabbing one of its tentacles and using his speed to go backwards, this let the creature let go and go in for another attack. Quickly countering this, TopGear sped in and slid onto the floor, stopping in time to deliver a a chain of rapid kick to its jaw. The Kraken let out a roar before diving back into the water once more.

"Thanks for the hand, and the feet.", Melville said with a smile before TopGear looked at him and hissed.

"What was so important in that goddamn crate that you'd risk yourself for it?", TopGear asked, narrowing his eyes at the man.

"Uh... our lunch."

This answer made him confused. "Those sandwiches better be fucking good, matter fact, why don't I check it out?", TopGear turned his head and saw the tentacle come back and take the create down beneath. "Well, at least it has a snack. See ya.", he waved them off without a care in the world and sped off.

The blue speedster raced towards Shaw's ship, the piercing sound of the Omnitrix timing out forced him to push himself. Though he just managed to get close as he erupted in a red flash. "Oh c'mon!", the teenager hissed before bouncing along the water before being enveloped.

"Shaw! Man overboard!", Max snaps his head as Shaw, who was aiming his harpoon gun at the fin of the creature. "Bring the boat around!"

Shaw looked at the dorsal fin vanish into the water. "Next time I see you, you won't be so lucky.", he hissed.

"Ugh I fucking hate getting wet with clothes on.", Alex hissed as he was sitting near a campfire with a towel draped over him. "So, minor inconvenience aside. You believe us now?", Alex asked looking up at the older amputee.

"Yeah yeah, you were right and we were wrong.", Gwen waved this off, slightly annoyed she was proven wrong.

"I apologize for not believing in you two in the first place, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong about Shaw.", Max said as he patted Ben's shoulder. "Let's just leave it to the experts, like those friends of fish guys.", Max stated, earning an annoyed glare at the only teenager that knew his background.

"Awh what? Who better to bust a monster with the actual monster buster.", Ben said as he grabbed Alex's arm and waved it up, he quickly pulled it away.

"Guess this is will just be the one that got away, son", Max shook his head as they looked over at Shaw who grumbled annoyed while passing by."

"Something wrong, Captain Shaw?", Gwen asked curiously.

"The nerve of those environmentalist fuckers! They shut down the entire lake, nobody tells me where to sail. And nobody's gonna get the way of reeling in the catch of the century.", Shaw said as he got an idea and walked back to his boat.

Alex tapped his chin as he thought about his next move, either listen to Max and leave it be or follow his gut instincts...

A bit after that, they had migrated inside the Rust Bucket and were preparing to turn in for the night. Gwen was going to but she was a bit busy hanging on the bathroom door. "Alex! C'mon hurry up!", Gwen kept banging on the door as Alex hadn't gone out in a 10 minutes. "Did you fall in or something?!", she exclaimed with an increasingly annoyed tone..

"Alright calm down.", Max quickly eased Gwen as he unlocked the bathroom door with a key. "Now Alex-", he opened the bathroom door and was shocked to see no one.

Ben had known about this, in fact he was the only person Alex ever told. Though he wished he said something about it, it didn't really involve him getting in trouble this time.

Parapparition phased through the wooden floor of the boat, easily sneaking on as he went tangible once again. He counted the minutes on his fingers as it took a bit to actually fly to his current location, the beeps he had grown accustomed to had began to sound out before he was covered in a bright red flash.

He could hear footsteps and what sounded like Shaw picking up something. ""No stowaways on my boat, even if ye are just a filthy rat.", he lifted a tarp up to see Alex there, sitting with a life-preserver.

"First Mate Mathers reporting for duty sir.", Alex salutes with a smug smile on his face. Shaw was confused but regardless, he was already too far out. "What's the plan?"

"The Kraken hasn't been active at all since last time, but strange ain't it?", Shaw trailed off as slowed the boat down to a halt. He came out of his cockpit with a harpoon and a bizarre, bright green object. "Which means our fishy friends must've drove her deep. Only one way to flush her out, just a bit of live bait is all.", he said slipped on what was revealed to be a wet suit, hooking the breathing air tank onto his back and slipping on the goggles.

"Want me to come with you?", Alex asked as Shaw grabbed a harpoon gun. "Guess not."

Shaw slipped on the rebreather, popping his neck as he sat on the edge. "Wish me luck.", Shaw nodded before diving into the lake below, swimming further away.

Using a specialized flashlight strapped to his head, he managed to swim through the rock formations and abandoned ships without needing to be careful. Flinching at the sudden appearance of seaweed drifting along, he let out an exhale before he continued slowly swimming his way straight forward. That was until he saw a wooden plank, not important but he saw more, more wooden planks as it all ended and were complied together like a nest of sorts.

Shaw looked around for anything of note, until his flashlight landed on a orb. The orb was large, around the same size as his upper torso, it was covefed in this weird pinkish flesh with red pulsating veins. It almost looked like an egg.

He immediately felt like something was approaching him, quickky turning around and shooting his harpoon at the small approaching creature, who quickly dodged the harpoon. Shaw let out a groan as it was just Alex wearing the spare diving suit.

Shaw gesutred Alex to come closer, the two shone their flashlights on the object. Shaw now nodding, he swam up to the surface, paddling himself to his ship as he used the latter he let down to climb back up. Once be reached the top, a pair of hands grabbed him and tossed him onto his sailing vessel.

"Don't cha know night diving is dangerous old timer? Unless of course you went with a friend.", a man with a gruff voice said. There were three aboard, all wearing a silver diving suit with an oxygen pack and belts with pockets, wearing a silver mask with black goggles.

"I ain't got any friends.", Shaw hissed as two of them went to his side and held him still.

"Oh and with such a sparkling personality like yours? I'm surprised.", the man said sarcastically. "And don't worry about us wanting anything you have. All we need to know is what did you see down there?"

"Nothin. Same as always.", Shaw said with a mocking smile before the man cocked his fist and knocked him unconscious, along with sending a tooth flying out.

"Good.", the supposed leader of the trio took off his diving maso to reveal Melville. "Just had to be sure.", he hissed completely unaware of a fourteen year old watching them from the water.

"Lets go.", Melville hopped onto his sleeker, black speed boat with waht looked like some kind of weapon attached with the desk. "We're taking Ahab here with us too, we'll have to come back later and snag the last egg.", Melville states as he pulled out some bizzare object the size of a tennis ball as his partners tossed Shaw onto the boat before joining. "In the meantime, lets just day this old hunk of shit got lost at sea."

He fiddled with the metal object before throwing it onto the fishing boat, his own speed boat jetting off as Alex could faintly hear a beeping. "Oh shit-", be immediately dove under the water as the fishing boat exploded into pieces, the debris falling into the lake as the left over chunk was still afloat yet burning away at the second.

Alex had managed to swim deep enough to be able to dodge the initial debris so it wouldnt effect him. He took a bit for it all to settle just in case, once it was clear he swam back up. "Ive already lost them by now...", he looked at his Omnitrix now in the green. "But not for long."

The speed boat hums as Melvile kept steering it along back to their hideout. "Hey Duane, what do you think Kraken eggs taste like?"

"Huh?"

"Y'know, like what if the guys we're selling these to decided to just eat them. What would they taste like?", the blond of the group, Jack, persisted.

Duane rolled his eyes. "Whats with you and asking these dumbass questions man?"

Jack crossed his arms in annoyance. "What? I'm a little curious.", he then started hearing this buzzing sound, it was loud, loud enough to be heard despite the boats engine running. He looked up and saw a figure flying towards them. "The hell is that thing? Jon get out here and look at this."

"Maybe a bird?"

"Nah, looks like a plane."

Once Melville stepped out, his eyes widened as rhe figure revealed itself to be BugBreath himself. "Its a BUG! Man the harpoons!", he exclaimed as the stench hit them all like a freight train.

"Ey where ya goin? C'mon I ain't gonna hurt you that much, I'm just gonna stab you with this thing.", BugBreath said gesturing to his stinger with a condescending smile. Jack went to the weapon, which was now revealed as a harpoon, he used the sticks and aimed it at the mega insect and began opening fire. Duane pulling out a gun and began shooting at him as well.

BugBreath dodged evey shot with ease, spinning seound before unleashing a quick blast of mucas from his mouth. Covering Jack and jamming the harpoon, then using his bottom pair of eye stalks ro blast Duane into the floor, causing him to drop his gun.

"What the hell?!", Melville pinched his nose closed as the stench was so foul he just couldnt stand it, tears streaming down his face reflexively. "Fuck it!", he uncovered his nose and flipped open a small hatch and pressed a few buttons. A compartment on the rear end of the boat snapped open and released over a dozen depth charges.

BugBreath's four eyes narrowed as he flew higher into the air, the charges blowing up and causing water to erupt violently due to the force of it. He flapped his wings faster to avoid any stray water droplets getting on his wings.

"Awh hell!", Melville eyes widened as he saw a familar dorsal fin. "Shit! Its getting too crowded around here! Dump the trash overboard!"

"Gimme a second, eugh this stuff is gross.", Jack said as he tried swiping off the sludge that felt like cement and oatmeal. He picked up Shaw and threw him overboard.

BugBreath quickly swooped in and grabbed Shaw with his legs, one of his eye stalks turning to watch them run away. "Pussies."

"Any sign of em?", Max looked around with Ben, all while Gwen was looking out into the distance with the utilization of binoculars.

"Nothing so far.", Gwen says as she pulled them away from her face, lowering them and turning to jer family. "Y'know we wouldnt be doing this if you just told us."

Ben shrugged completely unashamed despite the trouble he got into. "Yeah but its okay, he'll show back up, he always does."

As if on cue, the familiar warning alarm of the Omnitrix quickly approached before a red light erupted. Shaw and Alex falling into the pulled out sunroof. "I should really start keeping track of that."

Gwen frowned as Ben smirked. "Told you!"

It took a minute for Alex to get Shaw safely off with the assistance of Max using his old man strength, fo which he began to stir awake finally. After getting everyone gathered in the RV after some excuses to avoid telling Shaw a giant bug saved him. "When I was diving with Shaw, we found a big ol egg in this kind of nest. And since the Kraken targeted those losers today, Jonah and his goons mustve stolen her eggs."

"I also looked up Jonah, couldnt find anything about Friends of Fish on any environmentalist website. But Jonah isnt a friend of any wildlife, he's a poacher that snags exotic animals and sells them.", Gwen had turned her computer so the orhers could see her screen, scrolling through to show off Jonah and his three minions dealing with extremly bizzare animals.

"And if they were willing to get munched for a crate of sandwiches, that means-", Ben trailed off purposely as Alex smirked.

"That crate had an egg. And considering shes not there still, theres another one."

"Looks like we were both a little hard headed.", Max said with a smile, giving Ben a light pat on his shoulder.

Alex stood up and cracked his neck. "Alright, lets go. I heard they're going to a Cannery."

Shaw shot up. "All this talk doesn't mean shit to me. Mommy or not, that beast is mine.", he hissed with a flare as he walked to the door of the RV. "Lets go, I've got a spare boat by the docks.", he says as ne exited the RV.

With this, the four looked at each other with nods. Knowing what they're going to deal with, Gwen quickly pulled out jee phone.

After folllwing Shaw to a smaller boat with an engine attached to the rear, to which, Ben, Max and Alex climbed aboard as Gwen got off her phone. "It'll take a while before the police can get here."

"Good.", Alex gave a thumbs up. "Got more than enough time to deal with this first."

As soon as Shaw untied the boat, Max quickly activated the engine and sped off before Shaw could climb aboard. "What're you doin! Get back here! You don't know what you're doing, a monsters a monster! And I know one when I see it.", he was met by Alex waving at him mockingly as he vanished into the distance.

Shaw just looked over, seeing a simple rowboat nearby.

A crane hovered over the water as it pulled up a sort of mini sub, it looked different from the standard sub however. It looked a bit more humanoid, having two long arms that ended with a claw on the right wirh some sort of cannon on the left, with a smaller pair right around the torso area near the glass dome that held Jonah.

Both arms held onto the last of the egg as the crane lifted him onto the wooden planks that made up the Cannery's walk way. Jack had strolled over a massive container revealing a second, idental egg. Once he got close, he grabbed the giant egg but considering it was heavy and wet, it slipped out of his hands and onto the floor.

"Careful, you dumbass or else you'll be cleaning up the worlds most expensive omelette!", Melville snalled as he climbed out of the mini sub and dropped to the floor.

"Not my fucking fault these things weigh a couple hundred pounds.", Jack hissed in annoyance as he picked up the egg snd managed to plop it into the container as gently as he could before closing the lid. "Ugh, i need a vacation."

Melville smirked maliciously. "Oh dont worry about that, once we sell these babies, we'll be sittin back in the Bahamas.", he states confidently as he tapped the container.

Of course, as he had stated this the boat had arrived to the furthest side of the Cannery where the ladder leading up to the building hung. "Go find the eggs.", Alex tapped on the ladder, Max nodded as he began to climb it with Ben joining shortly after.

Gwen had started as well a bit after the two, pausing for just a second to look at Alex. "What about you?"

Alex grinned. "Isnt it obvious?", Gwen nodded as she climbed along and vanished as she made it to the top. "Lets see how they deal with a real fish freak.", he says as he primed the Omnitrix, turning a dial a few times before he got to Lakelurkers iconz

Before he could transform, Alex was flung off the boat as the Kraken bursted from the water with an angered and thunderous roar echoing through the area. She managed to crawl onto the Cannery, spotting her eggs and letting out another roar. Jack leapt back in fright before being smacked into the water.

"Oh yeah, the bigger the Kraken, the bigger the payday!", Melville ran and pulled himself on and into the Mini Sub, the glass dome snapping shut

The Kraken whipped one of her tendrils in an attempt to grab the container holding her chikdren but was too slow as Melville manage to quickly snatch the container with the subs smaller arms. Using the mounted guns to spray her with bullets, she covered her eyes as the bullets merely bounced off her tough flesh.

Melville swore he saw something, right in the corner of his eye. Before he could forget it, the face of the large humanoid fish that was Lakelurker had landed ontop of the mini sub. "Awh, why the face? This is what you wanted, isnt it?"

Turning to release the grip on the container, Lakelurker saw some sort of small, mounted gun on the clawed hand of the suit. His jaw quickly unhinged as he cleanly bit it off and spat it out. Melville furrowed his brow as Lakelurker used his incredible strength to kick the sub back letting the container fall to the ground with him holding onto it. Melville quickly rammed into him which caused Alex to drop the container which shattered, the eggs rolling towards the edge.

Inside the cannery, Ben, Gwen and Max snuck around, despite their history they didn't encounter another person. Duane was in one of the rooms quickly scrambling for a higher grade gun. Max heard this immediately, stopping a couple feet away and causing his two grand children to halt. He turned to them, using specific hand signals you'd find only in the military.

Ben and Gwen... clearly didn't understand. Of course, Jack had manage to find a new way inside the cannery drenched and soaking. He smirked as he pulled out a gun, Max stood in front of Ben and Gwen with his arms out. "Alright pal, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Your choice."

Before Jack could even do anything, the giant fin of appeared behind him and began destroying the wooden floor. "Go high!", Max leapt onto one of the hooks used for meat, Ben and Gwen quickly managing to jump as the shaking of the building caused the hooks to move forward. Jack unfortunately was dropped into the water once again.

Duane came out with what appeared to be an assault rifle only to be rammed by Max. His pure weight knocked him off balance as Gwen followed up by kicking him in the face as she zipped by with Ben ending it with another kick that fully knocked him unconscious. The three dropped from the hooks to look at the knocked out Duane.

"Is this still the easy way or the hard way?", Gwen frowned at Max.

"Its AWESOME is what it is!"

Back outside, the Krakken gently lifted her eggs up with an almost relieved expression... which the poacher didn't like. "My eggs!", Melville exclaimed as he backhanded the large humanoid away as he used a controller to quickly zoom to the planks before being tackled by Lakelurker, knocking them and the eggs into rhe water. With an angered hiss, the dove into the water as well.

"Rescuing babies, very heroic!", Melville began using the intact upper arms to began punching Lakelurker in the head. "But not very smart-", before he could attack again he was quickly propelled back by Lakelurker using him as a springboard.

Fusing his legs together to form his tail, Lakelurker closed the distance between Melville nightmarishly fast as he began punching the glass dome violently. Cracks began forming as Melville scowled, releasing an eletrical discharge that literally shocked Lakelurker off him as his propeller blades helped him grab onto the eggs and speed off.

Shaking the stinging sensation of being electrocuted off before swimming after the mini sub. Once he caught up he stuck his clawed hand in front of a shocked Jonah. "Fuck off!", he spun around and managed to to get Lakelurker off for a brief second only to be kicked down by the fishes powerful legs.

The force caused Melville to release the eggs, Lakelurker quickly unhinging his jaw and taking both in his mouth as he swam away.

The Kraken roared in distress at the sight of some stranfr creature holding onto her eggs. She jabbed him with her left tendril but swatted him away with her righr, with Lakelurker releasing the eggs, she grabbed onto them with the small feelers at the ends of her tendrils and swam off with Jonah's minisub on pursuit.

"Ugh, what a pain in the ass.", Lakelurker rubbed his head as he morphed his legs into his tail and swam right after.

Melville caught up the Kraken, using a sonic device to throw the mother off balance and by proxy releasing her eggs to instinctively cover her head. Zipping by and grabbing the eggs, Melville was tackled once again by Lakelurker who forced him into the remains of a sunken ship and began beating on the protective glass as Melville in retaliation electrocuted him again. Backhanding the humanoid fish creature off as he sped after the eggs.

Lakelurker looked at an old anchor covered by barnacles with a smirk. Splitting his tail into feet as he grabbed onto the chain and threw the anchor like a lasso that hooked onto the arm of the sub and yanked it with enough force to pull Melville back and snap the arm away. With increible speed, Lakelurker bursted past and grabbed onto the eggs with his mouth again.

Now managing to dodge the Kraken, Lakelurker sped past her pushing himself to go quicker as he could feel her catching up. His eyes widened as he made it to the nest, swimming to the center and gently placing the eggs in the center.

The Kraken then ignored Alex, stomping on the barnacle covered wood as she laid down with her eggs now no longer seeing him as a threat. Melville, now driven mad by greed, still persisted and was close to grabbing the eggs until the Kraken bit cleanly through the mini sub, exposing Jonah and leaving him underwater without any protection.

As she was still in front of him, the greed driving his actions caused Melville to pull out a dagger and attempt to stab the Kraken... which snapped off immediately upon contact. The larger fish unleashed a roar so loud ot vibrated throughout the great lake as she was going to devour him.

The Kraken stopped as Lakelurker was in front of Melville, shaking his head. She stared directly into his eyes, which were similar to hers, perceiving him as an ally, she stomped around and went to cuddle her children. Melville attempted to swim away only to be grabbed by Lakelurker...

Melville, now unconcious and with a black eye and missing tooth, was hung by his wet suit on a broken piece of wood. "I should let you drown, but knowing you're gonna rot in a cell is waayyy funnier.", Lakelurker crossed his arms, hearing the familar sirens of a police boat he sank back underneath the water.

Max and his grand children watched as the police officers pulled Jonah onto their boat and nodded as they knew he was alive. ""Good riddance to trash.", Max stated. "Im sorry for not believing in you earlier, Ben."

Ben smiled as he patted his grandpa's leg. "Its okay, I wouldnt believe me either."

"Hah, sure.", Gwen quickly recieved a mean glare from Ben.

"I caught one! I finally got me a Kraken. One of the eggs must've hatched, imagine this trophy mounted on my wall!", Shaw shows up on his rowboat with an excited smile on his dace, having caught something in a net. Pointing at the fish trapped that was actually LakeLurker. "Dear god im gonna be RICH! Its gonna look so beautiful mounted on my wall."

Lakelurker was covered in a red flash, causing Ben to snicker. "I think you wanna look again."

Shaw lifted up his lantern and looked at the net, in which had Alex waving at him instead of his greatest catch. "But... I could've sworn.", with this... he decided to stick to being a fisherman.
