"What are we doing, this isn't right" I stated, but it was too late. I found myself at the end of a long life friendship, or was this beginning of something worth the lost. You might think this is an affair and it is, oh but so much more.

5 months before this...

6:45pm EST Monday August 27:

"Fuck my life"! Why can't I get a job" ? Cindy yelled shutting down her laptop.

"I don't know Cindy, you just need to keep trying. Mhm.. You did just graduate" Jazmine retorted.

"Yeah, you right Jaz, Besides I got my grandpa inheritance money" Cindy spun around her desk chair and went on instagram.

"But it's not sustainable, you can't afford to spend no more after what happened"

"That girl almost killed me, talking about it wasn't hazing, she had to be dealt with, so I served a little time, she's still alive" Cindy got up to put on her hoodie.

"Cindy we have to keep ourselves out of trouble, you've could have been charged"

"Thanks to your dad and your boo the future lawyer. you know for y'all anniversary you should wear a sexy judge costume, you know be all like order in the court or Order in this..."
Jazmine covered her mouth.

"That's doing too much, besides he's going to be working on our anniversary, he said it's our 3rd year so he said miss the day, go to venice or spend a later time and then back off" Jazmine looked like she settled a bit.

"Makes sense, take the trip. He's been working more than you now, I know you love that you can work from home now'. Cindy placed hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Isn't it great ! I love digital marketing. My dad was annoyed, but It pays the bills and the Porsche" Jazmine Plopped on the couch eating her gelato. Letting the cool sensation savor her mouth and exhaling out any frozen dessert smoke left. Her heart felt the same, except the cold never escaped.

Jazmine and Cindy just graduated from The University of Maryland in College Park, where they spent 4 year getting a bachelors degree Jazmine (business marketing) and Cindy (Letters& Science). Jasmine was also in a sorority,.Zeta. Cindy was going to, until the incident so she rather play basketball than waste her time with that sisterhood (her words). Cindy really didn't know what she wanted to do in school and she barely passed due to many alterations, but she knew she "made it out that hoe", as she would state.

Flashback to Junior Year

"Cindy Please Recite the FULL Gamma Beta Founders Law Next Time or There will be more To say" The Soro Leader Looked at Cindy with seriousness.

Cindy It was her last straw. From the constant restraints, conforming, and extreme discipline she couldn't take this academic clique. If it were Cindy she rather been in a Frat with men. The leader was an "Anti-Haser" However she seemed to give Jazmine and Cindy (especially) a harder time.

"Bitch I don't owe you shit, let us in, or not", Cindy yelled.

"Keep it up and you're not in" The leader Target.

Later that day... at a frat party...

"Cindy I apologize for my actions, you're definitely close to being in all you have to do is swim across the pool"

"Bet, and you leave Jaz alone too"

Cindy started to swim until she felt something holding her down below, she tried to swim forward but something sucked her back. She bobbed her head, but a machine like suction cupped her arm. She felt almost unconscious, until A guy dove in and cut it off. Jazmine ran to her friend while she coughed and breathing heavy. Cindy wiped her body and walked straight into the house where the leader was in the living room.

"Bitch you tried to kill me"

"Why would I do that you're my future sister?"

"Don't play dumb, this is your boyfriends frat house, you set me up"

"You swam for acceptance, I see nothing less of it"

"How about less of your face" Cindy held up her fist and punch her. The leader tried hitting Cindy back but she missed a few times.

"You bitch! You're definitely not gamma material!"

Cindy kept punching her in the face. It began to bleed and bruised.

"Fuck You and the Gammas I'm out" Slapping her front and back hand

"Cindy that's enough! They're calling the cops" !

A guy grabbed Cindy and the leader upstairs.

"Man Fuck the police, She deserves time"

Jazmine backed away from Cindy as she saw the cops come in. Most of the druggies flew away by then.

"ARREST HER IMMEDIATELY" the leader shouted while an EMT came upstairs. The cops handcuffed Cindy, while Jazmine told her to not say anything and that she would call her dad up. She also told her BF and they made their way down there.

Long story short, Cindy had assaulted charges and faced 10 days in Jail but her inheritance money helped dropped her charges as well however Jazz's BF got proof that the gamma leader was hazing while recruiting on Anti-hazing school's policies. It was prohibited and she was able to return to campus after a temporary suspension.

As for Jaz she quit Gamma and Joined a more diverse black sorority Zeta

End of Flashback

"You want to smoke" Cindy Lighting up a Joint, following a heart shaped ash tray on the coffee table.

"You already know it's a no, besides I thought you quit ever since you saw Riley last"? Jazmine was annoyed by question but curious with hers.

"I did, sort of...damn I miss him alright. He said he had to leave me during graduation, the paper isn't exactly easy in LA" Cindy looking sad.

Ever since Middle School her and Riley were the best of friends even as elementary school kids. Cindy Senior year they made it official. But then she broke up with him her freshman year of college because she wanted to "see the options", then he came to visit, they hooked up, reconnected back together. Riley graduated, Went to LA with Hiro for some art and music ventures and decided to break things off with her. Cindy Spent that time in trouble (the jail situation), Senior year she went to LA for march madness rekindle their relationship and decided to do long distance.

Cindy wants to move to Los Angeles, but doesn't want her mom to be alone since it's just them. Plus she needed to find a job out there which was kicking her butt, she wanted to do music with Riley she was great at rapping, but she had to be able to get a place. She heard LA isn't cheap.

"I know, I miss mine too (puppy face)" Jazmine sulking.

"Oh by the way, how's his brother?"

"He's good, he didn't really tell me much but he just graduated too", Cindy looking down, shrugged.

"I know, A Morehouse graduate. I've could of went, but you know why".
