Why was she here again?
Right…
Her bosses ordered her to
But neither of them told her what she needed to do here
She sighs as she walks through the city of Lastation in this dimension
What was it called again…?
…right, it was "Alpha Dimension" wasn't it?
She shakes her head as she continues her aimless wandering
At least until she hears a loud clang along with the screaming of people
It wasn't hard to get to the location that the fight is occurring
All she had to do was go in the direction that the people were running away from
What she saw definitely made her a little mad
Black heart, on the ground, injured
Damage to her gray coloured processor (why was "Black Heart's" processor Gray instead of Black? She didn't know, nor did she wants to think about it)
And her white hair that's tied into twin tails with some of her blood on it
She has a dominatrix themed Iris CPU protecting her, likely because they are friends or at least allies
What made her mad however was the fact that the assailant is White heart
She stood off to the side for a bit, just listening to what they had to say to each other
"Pathetic, did you brats really think that you'd be able to beat me?" White Heart says looking rather proud of herself
"Says the woman whose attacking a newly formed peaceful nation" the Iris CPU growls as she forces herself to stand to continue fighting
"ill make sure to take my time killing you, Iris Heart" White Heart says as she points her axe at the relatively exhausted Iris CPU, "like i told your pathetic 'sister', there's not enough room on this land for more of us"
White Heart charges at Iris Heart
She's heard enough
The woman shakes her head in disappointment for what she just heard
She rolls her shoulder and hops in place a couple of times
Then.
She.
moved.
One second White Heart was charging at Iris Heart with the intention of killing the Iris CPU
The next there was a flash of Lilac and White Heart gets sent back flying with a pained yell
What Iris Heart and Black Heart would see of the woman that intertwined was her Black and Purple boots and silver stockings that reach half way up her thighs
As well as the white and purple hooded parka coat that she's wearing over her shoulders with its hood firmly over her head like a hooded cloak, the most interesting things about the parka coat would be the Planeptune symbol on its zipper and the amature patchwork of the Planeptune symbol done on its pockets
White Heart flips and lands on her feet in front of her army, "you! Who the fuck are you?!"
The young woman doesn't answer, rather she asks "Ego much?"
"What?"
"There's not enough room on this land for more than just you as the CPU" the woman paraphrased, "just how much ego do you have to compensate for your lack of assets?" she asks with a flat tone which somehow added to the funny factor because the 2 CPUs behind her unsuccessfully stifles their snickers
"THE FUCK YOU SAY TO ME YOU LITTLE SHIT!" White Heart roars as she charges at the woman fully intent of cleaving her in two
The woman draws her blade and clashes with the CPUs axe which stops White Heart in her tracks
Much to the surprise of everyone involved except the woman herself the force of the clash caused a gust of wind to blow the parka coat off of the young woman's shoulders, revealing her in all her glory
Long lilac hair tied into a ponytail, a broken D-pad clip that looks fixed DIY-style with another broken D-pad clip (up and right of the D-pad is white with purple lines while the down and left are black with lilac lines)
She's wearing a black tank top that stops a bit below her bust leaving her midriff completely open, as well as a black skort with a purple hem
Around her neck is a pendant with Planeptune's symbol on it
All in all, even with the differences, she's Nepgear, CPU Lilac Heart of Planeptune, the CPU that was (as far as Alpha Dimension is concerned) murdered by White Heart 5 years ago
Nepgear, with one swift motion, sends White Heart flying back to her army, again "what's wrong?" she says with a flat tone of voice "You look like you've seen a ghost"
From behind her Nepgear hears a soft gasp and a whisper of "sister" but she paid no heed to it
"You!" White Heart growls, "how are you alive, I killed you"
"Si tan solo matarme fuera así de fácil" Nepgear mutters softly to herself with a shake of her head, "alright, here's the deal, you take your brats behind you and leave or you can attack me again and i turn your brats into a massive blood splatter"
White Heart scoffs, "I've already killed you once, why should I back out when I can just kill you AGAIN!"
Nepgear sighs in disappointment "Graviton"
White Heart in her path to Nepgear suddenly gets slammed onto the ground as gravity itself tripled on her person
"LADY WHITE HEART!" the members of the Loweean army exclaims as they rush to help her
While they do this Nepgear takes lazy steps to get behind White Heart, she is a woman of her word after all
"Burn" she says softly to her blade which lights up in a sinister aura before she swings it horizontally
A wave of energy is sent in the way of the army
And it washes over them
However, once the wave of energy washes over them nothing happens
But they're all frozen in place
The gravity magic used to pin down White Heart is manipulated to raise her up and make her watch as Nepgear sheaths her blade
There was no sound, no birds singing, no crickets chirping, heck there's not even the sounds of rustling leaves as a breeze passed through them, and no one that's watching from behind Nepgear, in Lastation, dared to make a sound
The only sound that can be heard is the sound of Nepgear sheathing her blade and then finally, the click of her blade being fully sheathed
And then it happened
Like a powerful concussive blast was shot through them, the Loweean army was reduced to a massive blood splatter
Worse still, there was nothing left to indicate any specific individual as everything that wasn't their blood was vaporized, erased, perhaps even atomised
And White Heart, she passed out as her brain couldn't even begin to comprehend what had happened
Nepgear looked at the now unconscious Blanc and blinked with mild surprise
Blanc, in her human form, is wearing a white and red shrine maiden outfit…
She, who many considers to be a devil of the highest caliber, essentially just fucked up a shrine maiden
The irony doesn't elude her in the slightest
A shade Fenrir climbs out of her shadow and pushes its head into Nepgear's free hand and Nepgear just starts to scratch the shade Fenrir's head, "Magi, could you drag her" Nepgear Nods her head towards the unconscious Blanc, "back to her nation?"
The shade Fenrir lets out a whine of complaint but goes and takes Blanc's leg in its mouth and starts dragging her away
Nepgear facepalms at Magi's pettiness as the shade Fenrir is dragging Blanc through the blood of her fallen army
…how did she get coerced into coming to Planeptune Basilicom of this dimension?
No, really, how?
One second shes telling this dimension's Noire and the Iris haired girl 'Plutia', her mind informs her that they can call her 'Lily' if calling her 'Nepgear' made them feel uncomfortable
The next shes here, seated in the dining room of the Planeptune Basilicom's living space, sipping tea with an adorably small Histoire
"So, Nepgear" Histoire says with a level of caginess, "you said that you were looking for something"
"Just 'Lily' is fine if calling me 'Nepgear' is bothersome to you" the Lilac haired girl says, "and yes, i am looking for something"
Histoire was about to say something Nepgear cuts her off, "before you ask, i haven't the faintest clue on what i'm supposed to be looking for" she says dryly, "my 'bosses' basically banished me here after telling me to find 'something that I need for the sake of myself' whatever that means" she says exasperated while going as far as making air quotes for 'bosses' and 'something that I need for the sake of myself'
Histoire looked surprised, probably wondering what the hell did she go through to be, well, Her, this hellscape of a broken CPU
"Goodness, Nepgear" Histoire says softly
"What…?" the Lilac CPU asks while stifling a yawn
"If you don't mind" Histoire starts, "could you possibly tell me about what you've experienced"
Unbeknownst to Nepgear and Histoire, Plutia was eavesdropping on them
And she hears Nepgear's tale
The good times, the bad ones, the trials and tribulations
But what stuck with her the most is the biggest trial that this Nepgear had
Which was to kill the other CPUs to defeat an ancient, recurring big bad
This Nepgear had to kill her closest friends and only family to gain the power needed to save her world
And after that she was turned on by the very people that she saved and even killed
But the kicker? She was brought back to the beginning of when that particular adventure started and had to live through it all over again
With hopes of being able to change the outcome for the better
But it never worked
She tried
Over
And over
And over
And over again
The ones that she should have been able to get help from, gave her no such thing
And this was considered mild in comparison to the things she had to go through in order to get rid of that stupid time loop she was trapped in
Finally to rub more salt into her open wounds
The time loop is still there, almost like its mocking her for even trying
It's no wonder that this version of the CPU she'd call her 'big sister' looked so…
Worn out and defeated…
"...that's about it" Nepgear finishes, "well, as far as I can remember, at least" Nepgear leans back in her seat
To the Lilac haired girls surprise, Plutia rushed in and hugged her tight and started sobbing into her shoulder
Nepgear, didn't know how to respond
"Nepgear, I don't think what your bosses sent you here to find is some item" Histoire says as she places her hand on Nepgear's head, "i think that they sent you here to refind your reason to continue living"
Nepgear for her part didn't say anything
But she shakily wrapped her arms around the sobbing girl as a single tear left her eye
For the first time in such a long long time, the dim nearly extinguished light in Nepgear's heart, her soul
Shone just a bit more brightly than it did mere moments ago
And by the time she would have to return, that light would shine brighter than it had since before the Deity of Sin
And will continue to shine bright
As shes gained a second home here in Alpha Dimension
Location: Lastation Hotel
Nepgear wakes up from a blissful sleep
She stretches and goes to get herself washed up
It didn't matter if she was De-synced or if there are unknowns that she needed to worry about
Right now
In this moment she's going to enjoy herself
Allow herself to wander in her memories of Alpha Dimension
'I should go give the kid a visit after this Deity of Sin nonsense is dealt with' she thinks to herself
AN: unless this end of the year turns out to be a very slow then this will most likely be the last chapter ill upload for this year
