Book One: Water
Chapter One: The Boy in the Iceberg
"The Boy in the Iceberg? That's a strange title of a chapter" Senator Chuchi remarked,
"And if we're dealing with ice. I'd say we're starting with somewhere cold and snowy," Anakin presumed,
His presumption came true as they did indeed start somewhere cold in this world and a small wooden ship carrying two familiar Water Tribe teenagers from the beginning.
Sokka: It's not getting away from me this time. Watch and Learn, Katara. This is how you catch a fish
Though Sokka's claim aside, the audience was eager to see Katara's actions as the latter spotted a fish and pulled one of her mittens off.
The audience was soon greeted with what appeared to be Waterbending as Katara pulled a small bubble of water containing a fish.
"Well, that's certainly useful," Ahsoka remarked,
"And quite intriguing to see," Kenobi added,
Katara: Sokka, Look!
Sokka: Shh, Katara. You're gonna scare it away. Mmm. I can already smell it cooking
Katara: But, Sokka, I caught one.
"Yeah, turn around. You're missing out on a catch your sister had caught," Caleb said,
"You know they can't hear you, right?" Depa reminded,
"I know, it just feels natural," Caleb understood and his master agreed as she may done the same as him,
Sadly, they soon witnessed the bubble get popped by the butt of Sokka's bone spear and release the fish as well as get him wet in the process.
Sokka: Why is it that you play with Magic Water, I get soaked.
Katara: Ohh. It's not magic. It's waterbending. And it's-
Sokka: Yeah, yeah, an ancient art unique to our culture, blah, blah, blah... Look, I'm just saying that if I had weird powers, I'd keep my weirdness to myself
"Weird? Why would it be weird if it's part of their culture? It just doesn't make any sense," Duchess Satine remarked,
"You'll find out soon enough," Crest said,
Katara: You're calling me weird? I'm not the one who makes muscles at myself every time I see my reflection in the water
The men either scoffed or rolled their eyes at Sokka flexing his muscles at the water while the women sighed at this behavior.
"Teenagers," Kenobi said, "They always try to show off whenever they get the chance,"
However, this moment was soon interrupted when they saw the canoe bump into a small iceberg and what followed was the two being pulled by a stream while more large icebergs closed in on them.
There was some intensity in the scene as Sokka frantically padded the canoe across the stream, narrowly avoiding the icebergs. Despite Katara's best efforts for directions, their canoe was soon crushed by two colliding icebergs, and now find themselves on an iceberg with no means of return.
Katara: You call that left?
Sokka: You don't like my steering. Well, maybe you should have waterbended us out of the ice
Katara: So it's my fault
Sokka: I knew I should have left you home. Leave it to a girl to screw things up
This remark alone caused some frowns in the audience, the majority being women as they disapproved of Sokka's sexism.
The others weren't too pleased by this remark, but neither they nor the women had a say in this as Katara did it for them.
Katara: You are the most sexist, immature, nutbrained- Ah! I'm embarrassed to be related to you!
Though Katara's spurt of an outburst and Sokka's sexism aside, the audience's frowns soon turned into wide eyes as the former's Waterbending is occurring even under emotional frustration. Especially when it unintentionally caused a large iceberg to crack behind them.
Katara: Ever since Mom died, I've been doing the work around camp, while you've been off playing soldier.
Sokka: Ah... Katara...
Katara: I even washed all the clothes. Have you ever smelled your dirty socks? Let me tell you. Not pleasant!
Sokka: Katara! Settle down!
Katara: No! That's it. I'm done helping you. From now on, you're on your own!
One final move and the Iceberg began to break and everyone expressed the same shock as the two Water Tribe Teenagers. Though the two teenagers were pushed by the waves after the iceberg fell, they remained on the block they were on and then fell into the freezing water.
"Emotional, she is. Matches her power to bend water, it does," Yoda commented,
"And if she is like this. There it is natural that Katara has no master to teach her how to control her power as well as proper discipline," Mace Windu concluded,
"But to teach herself with this power, that is proof that she has untapped potential," Kit Fitso stated, "With the right guidance and knowledge, she will reach her fullest potential, and become more than what she is today,"
Sokka: Ok. You've gone from weird to freakish, Katara.
Katara: You mean I did that?
Sokka: Yep. Congratulations
"And someone should teach this boy some manners," Luminara remarked and some of the women agreed to her comment,
Then they were soon stunned by a glow beneath the water and what came out after was a large but round iceberg with something inside. They do not know what to make of this iceberg, but what shocked them was at the very heart of this iceberg.
A young boy with arrow tattoos and open eyes caused even more shock in the audience.
"By the Force," Ki-Adi-Mundi remarked,
"That boy is alive," Kit Fitso said,
Then Ahsoka gets an idea as she turns to her master, "Could it be?"
Katara: He's alive. We have to help.
Sokka: Katara! Get back here! We don't know what that thing is.
The audience then watched as Katara repeatedly tried to break the ice and after several hits with a club, the two were knocked by the wind blowing through them and what followed was a crack.
Eventually, it burst and what emerged was a pillar of light that set the waves in motion and seal-like creatures to howl such a phenomenon.
And through this screen, the Jedi Knights and others could feel but feel the power of this light.
"This energy... It feels so powerful, yet so pure at the same time," Shaak Ti remarked, "Is this truly the power the Avatar holds?"
"Like Light that vanquished all Darkness, it does," Yoda quoted, "The Avatar's return, it has,"
"How is this possible?" Aayla inquired to Crest,
"This is highly advanced technology combined with a particular power source which simulates the properties of energy. What you are feeling is an accurate sensation of this energy," Crest explained, "But don't expect it to be perfect, though. Regardless of how accurate it is, it is still a simulation of that energy,"
"Well his return hasn't gone unnoticed," Cham Syndulla remarked as the scene now showed a small fire nation vessel and they were soon greeted by another man with a burn scar over his left eye...
Zuko: Finally. Uncle, do you realize what this means?
Iroh: I don't get to finish my game?
Zuko: It means my search is about to come to an end.
Iroh: Ahh...
Zuko: That light came from a potent source. It has to be him.
Iroh: Or it's just the celestial lights. We've been down this road before, Prince Zuko. I don't want you to get too excited about anything.
"Search? Why would a Prince of an Enemy Nation travel across the world to find the Avatar" Plo Koon questioned,
"Apart from the obvious threat of being the one who could turn the tide. I'm certain that there is more to this story than just taking him down," Kenobi presumed while cupping his chin in thought,
Iroh: Please, sit. Why don't you enjoy a cup of calming jasmine tea?
Zuko: I don't need any calming tea! I need to capture the Avatar! Helmsmen, head a course for the light.
"He sounds desperate..." Depa remarked, "As if the Avatar's capture will do more than remove the Fire Nation's greatest threat,"
"And considering that he's from a royal family. There's no doubt that this Prince must have been banished from his homeland and can only return after he's captured the Avatar," Padme presumed, "The real question is why,"
"Perhaps if we watch this story further, we may know the reason behind his banishment," Duchess Satine said and kept wondering about Zuko's circumstances.
When greeted with the next scene, the audience held their breaths as the light still resonated before the two teenagers but was eventually met with the Avatar standing tall before them and Sokka raised his spear to demand him to stop.
But once the light fades, the boy suddenly collapses and Katara is the first to act as she catches him. Though Sokka would earn the ire of the audience when he poked the Avatar's head with the butt of his spear.
As Katara sets him down on the snow, the Avatar slowly regains consciousness and the first thing he saw was Katara, staring right back at him. And for some reason, the moment reminded Anakin of his youth...
When he met Padme for the first time...
Aang: I need to ask you something.
Katara: What?
Aang: Please, come closer
Katara: What is it?
Aang: Will you go Penguin-sledding with me?
Katara: Uh... Sure. I guess.
Upon hearing his request, the audience had one common reaction: Confusion. They did not expect that the Avatar, Master of All Four Elements and Savior of this world, would invite a girl he had just met to this penguin-sledding.
The one who fully expressed their discontent on the matter was Mace Windu, who wasn't impressed in the slightest, "Is this a joke? The one who will save this world from the Fire Nation is a boy who'd asked a girl out first. How could this world pick such a person?"
"Don't judge the boy by one glance just yet, Mace Windu," Crest advised, "Because you, everyone here, will know why he is picked,"
"The boy aside, did he just use his bending to stand upstraight?" Kit Fitso questioned,
"With the move being so vague, one may see him as young Padawan," Kenobi stated, and Anakin and Ahsoka agreed to the thought,
Aang: What's going on here?
Sokka: You tell us! How did you get on the ice? And why aren't you frozen?
Aang: I'm not sure
The audience was soon attracted by the sound of low growling and watched as the Avatar jumped into the ice crater and was soon met with an unfamiliar creature.
Aang: Appa, are you alright? Wake up, buddy.
"What is that creature?" Padme inquired,
"Its size resembles that of a Grazer and a Nerf, but with much fluffy than both species," Bail Organa remarked,
After the avatar tries to lift this creature, some of the audience grew a bit amused by Sokka's reaction, then they saw the creature licking its friend off the ground.
Aang: Ha ha! You're ok.
Sokka: What is that thing?
Aang: This is Appa, my Flying Bison
Sokka: And this is Katara, my flying sister.
Some of the audience stared at the screen with deadpan expressions due to Sokka's sarcasm. But their reactions soon changed to disgust when they saw the flying bison sneeze and its snot hit Sokka but not Katara.
Though Aang assured that it'll wash off, Sokka and most of the audience still express their disgust towards the snot that remained on Sokka's face.
Aang: So do you guys live around here?
Sokka: Don't answer that. Did you see that crazy bolt of light? He was probably trying to signal the Fire Navy.
Katara: Oh, yeah. I'm sure he's a spy of the Fire Navy. You can tell by that evil look in his eye.
Apart from Katara's sarcastic comment, the audience was a bit amused by the way Aang cheekily smiled to make himself convincing. Some even chuckled...
"Yes, very suspicious," Cham Syndulla jokingly remarked, before chuckling some more,
Katara: The paranoid one is my brother, Sokka. You never told us your name.
Aang: I'm Ah- Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ac-choo!
Though it was a sneeze, the audience was surprised that it blew the Avatar back in an instant, and then down without much harm.
"That's one heck of a sneeze," Anakin joked, and some chuckled in response
Aang: I'm Aang.
Sokka: You just sneezed and flew ten feet in the air.
Aang: Really? It felt higher than that.
Katara: Oh! You're an Airbender
Aang: Sure am.
Sokka: Giant Light Beams, Flying Bisons, Airbenders- I think I got Midnight Sun Madness. I'm going home to where stuff makes sense.
"He could... If he had a boat, that is," Caleb remarked,
"And I doubt an ice block would function as a craft to sail through the water," Kenobi stated,
Aang: Well, if you guys are stuck, Appa and I can give you a lift.
Katara: We'd love a ride. Thanks
Sokka: Oh, no! I am not getting on that fluffy snot monster
Katara: Are you hoping some other kind of monster will come along and give you a ride home? You know, before you freeze to death.
"She does make a good point there," Ahsoka said, "It's either he rides that creature or he stays there and waits until he freezes over,"
"Or he could wait for that Fire Nation Ship. Though I doubt he'll take it considering how hostile he is to them," Shaak Ti remarked,
What comes after is their eagerness towards this flying bison after Sokka reluctantly sits on the bison's saddle.
Aang: Ok! First-time flyers, hold on tight. Appa, Yip yip!
When Appa jumped, they thought that it was going to fly. But instead, they watched it jump into the cold water and swim. Much to the audience's disappointment.
"Well, so much for that plan," Anakin remarked,
"But at least the two have a ride home, I guess it isn't a total loss," Padme said,
Sokka: Wow, that was truly amazing
Aang: Appa's just tired. A little rest and he'll be soaring through the sky. You'll see.
Katara: Why are you smiling at me like that?
Aang: Oh. I was smiling?
Sokka: Argh!
The Jedi knew what Aang's stare and smile were like and knew the meaning behind it. However, they'd keep it to themselves rather than express their opinion on the matter.
For this wasn't the world they know
Iroh: I'm going to bed now. *yawn* A man needs his rest. Prince Zuko, you need some sleep. Even if you're right and the Avatar is alive, you won't find him. Your Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather all tried and failed.
Zuko: Because their honor didn't hinge on the Avatar's capture. Mine does. This coward's hundred years in hiding are over.
"So his forefathers have tried to find the Avatar before Zuko," Bail Organa said, "And if what Senator Amidala said is true. Then perhaps this Prince's quest for the Avatar is bent on regaining his honor and perhaps his rightful place on the throne,"
"But regardless of whether this goal is important or not, he should listen to his uncle," Senator Chuchi said, "Rest is essential if one wishes to accomplish a goal,"
"I agree," Rex agreed, "Even before or after a battle, I'd make sure my boys are well rested and ready. Otherwise, we'd be sloppy as the clankers would ever be,"
Clone Force 99 agreed with the Clone Captain as they're always resting after hard days of battle. Even the Jedi present have agreed as they needed their well-earned rest.
Katara: Hey
Aang: Hey. What are you thinking about?
Katara: I guess I was wondering. You being an Airbender and all... If you had any idea what happened to the Avatar.
Aang: Uh... No. I didn't know him. I mean, I knew people who knew him. But I didn't. Sorry.
Katara: Ok. Just curious. Good Night.
Aang: Sleep tight.
With their conversation, the audience was baffled by what Aang had said and the first one to express their opinion was Aayla.
"D-Did he just lies to her? Not admitting to the fact that he's the Avatar?" Aayla inclined,
"He certainly did," Ki-Adi-Mundi confirmed, "But why would he do such a thing? Doesn't he have a charge to uphold?"
"If we consider the age of which he maintained throughout the years that have passed in this world. I believe that Aang still possesses the mind of a child rather than the mind of a Chosen One," Kit Fisto calculated, "In other words, he hasn't been able to train himself to master the elements nor proper discipline. He's truly a boy who never learned how to properly grow up..."
The audience couldn't help but pity Aang's circumstances as he is a boy who had been frozen in ice while the world and its people continued without him. Everything and everyone he may ever know may have come in the past and he can only live in the present that's out of place for him.
Besides that thought, they were soon greeted with a different scene and it revolved around Aang as he was somehow present in a storm what followed was his desperate screams as the waves crashed towards him and caused him and Appa to fall into the sea.
Unable to escape, they sank into the ocean's depths and the audience was horrified by what he had gone through. But just before Aang could succumb to his fate in the sea, his eyes and tattoos glowed, and what the audience soon witnessed was the cause of his being trapped inside an iceberg for many years.
"So Aang unconsciously awakened his Avatar power and used it to save himself and his bison by freezing the water around him," Shaak Ti summarized, "Whatever this power is called, it may be beyond our mutual understanding with the Force,"
"Even more, if it allows him to freely manipulate this much water to encase him and his bison in ice for a hundred years," Plo Koon remarked,
Katara: Aang. Aang, wake up!
Aang: Ah!
Katara: It's ok. We're in the village now. Come on, get ready. Everyone's waiting to meet you.
Everyone seems curious about what Sokka and Katara's village looks like, but what's even more curious is the arrow tattoos donning Aang's body which may appear to be a tradition among Air Nomads.
When the scene goes over the village, they soon make their opinions on the matter.
"The village looks so... Small," Chuchi remarked,
"And the total population. This village may as well be a camp for refugees," Padme said,
"Katara did say that her father and the men of their tribe left to fight the war. So naturally, a village like this would be small without them," Bail Organa remarked,
When Aang formally greets them with a both, the people of this village look rather tense towards him.
"They seem scared of him," Duchess Satine said,
"With the war going on, they would be scared as no one would be able to protect them from harm," Ahsoka said, "So it's natural for them to feel scared around strangers,"
Aang: Uh... why are they all looking at me like that? Did Appa sneeze on me?
Gran-Gran: Well, no one has seen an Airbender for a hundred years. We thought they were extinct. Until my granddaughter and grandson found you.
Aang: Extinct?
Katara: Aang, this is my Grandmother.
Gran-Gran: Call me Gran-Gran
The nickname aside, the audience was curious about the part where Gran-Gran mentions that the Airbenders have never been seen for over a century and that they are considered extinct.
However, they remain silent as any more questioning is saved for a later date.
Sokka: What is this, A weapon? You can't stab anything with this.
Aang: It's not for stabbing. It's for airbending.
With simple applicant of air bending, the staff that Aang holds around was a retractable glider and most were curious about its design. Some couldn't help but feel the same amusement as children as they asked Aang to do it again like some magic trick.
Aang: Not magic, Airbending. It lets me control the air currents around my glider and fly.
Sokka: You know, last time I checked, Humans can't fly,
Aang: Check again
As soon as Aang jumped into the air, he demonstrated his gliding skills and some were impressed by how he quickly maneuvered around the air. Though they have spacecraft and star cruisers in their galaxy, it feels quite refreshing to see something different.
Even Anakin admits that such a method is quite intriguing to learn and master.
But moments later, they'd witnessed and flinched at Aang crash into a snow tower after showing off some of his skills and Katara went for Aang while her brother went for his snowy watchtower.
Katara: That was amazing.
Sokka: Great. You're an Airbender, Katara's a Waterbender. Together you can just waste time all day long.
Aang: You're a Waterbender!
Katara: Well, sort of. Not yet.
Gran-Gran: All right. No more playing. Come on, Katara. You have chores.
Katara: I told you. He's the real deal, Gran Gran. I finally found a bender to teach me.
Gran-Gran: Katara, try not to put all your hopes on this boy.
Katara: But he's special. I can tell. I sense he's filled with much wisdom.
As soon as Aang is shown, most of the audience chuckles at how Aang is behaving while the serious ones like Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Plo Koon sigh at the sight of this world's Chosen One.
"Wisdom, he has. For children to play, he certainly does," Yoda jokingly remarked,
What comes next on the scene is Zuko's vessel and what appears to be a training session. Under Iroh's instruction and supervision, the audience witnessed how fire bending works and after the lesson, Iroh looked rather aggrieved at the result
Iroh: No! Firebending and Power come from the breath, not the muscles. The breath becomes energy in the body. The energy extends past your limb and becomes fire! Get it right this time.
Zuko: Enough. I've been drilling this sequence all day. Teach me the next set. I'm more than ready
Iroh: No! You are impatient. You have yet to master your basics. Drill it again!
"Doesn't this behavior remind you of anything, Master Kenobi?" Aayla inquired,
"It does, and I can see the resemblance," Kenobi remarked with snide,
"Very funny, Master," Anakin sarcastically remarked, then his eyes shifted towards Ahsoka, "But it's not like I'm the only one who acts this way,"
"Hey!" Ahsoka yelled, and some of the Jedi couldn't help but reminisce those times,
However, the audience was soon greeted by Zuko knocking out one of his men with a fireblast and confronting his uncle head-on.
Zuko: The sages tell us that the Avatar is the Last Airbender. He must be over a hundred years old by now. He's had a century to master the four elements. I'll need more than basic fire bending to defeat him. You will teach me the advanced set!
Iroh: Very well. But first, I must finish my roast duck
"Brash, the Prince is," Yoda remarked, "To achieve greater power, requires patience and mastery of basics,"
"As bad as he seems, His Uncle, on the other hand, is relatively different than him," Depa remarked, "He may appear strict and thorough with training him, but his demeanor after training is quite humorous but appealing,"
Sokka: Now, men, it's important that you show no fear when you face a Fire bender. In the Water Tribe, we fight till the last man's standing. For without courage, how can we call ourselves men?
At first, the audience thought that Sokka was educating a bunch of boys his age. But upon seeing the next scene, they were met with a bunch of children who weren't even at the appropriate to be trained as soldiers.
Wrecker was laughing at this alongside neutrally chuckling Tech and Hunter while the others just sighed and shook their heads.
"Though his speech sounds commendable, his troops... They aren't appropriate to any battle, especially against a fire bender," Rex commented,
"If anything, they're younger than Clone Cadets," Echo added, especially when a young water tribe boy said he had to pee,
Sokka: Listen! Until your fathers, return from the war, they're counting on you to be the men of this tribe. And that means no potty breaks.
Water Tribe Boy: But I really gotta go.
Sokka: Ugh... Ok. who else has to go?
Most of the audience laughed when all of Sokka's recruits raised their hands which led to the immediate dismissal of his troops.
But after several moments, Katara came and asked her brother about Aang's whereabouts. Her question was answered when the young Water Tribe Boys walked to the Airbender after he exited the tunnel of a snow tower.
The more serious audience just sighed at his behavior and refused to retort to the matter any longer.
Sokka: Ah! Katara, get him out of here. This lesson is for Warriors only.
Water Tribe Children and Katara: *Laughing with joy*
Sokka: Stop! Stop it right now! What's wrong with you? We don't have time for fun and games with a war going on!
Aang: What war? What are you talking about?
Sokka: You're kidding right?
After their fleeting moment of joy, the audience was surprised by Aang's oblivious opinion as he jumped down his bison.
"He doesn't know?" Padme remarked,
"If so, then perhaps he's been trapped in that iceberg long before the war started," Ahsoka added,
Moments later, their moment of seriousness was replaced with dumbfoundedness when Aang sighted and chased after a penguin at high speeds.
"For once, I agree with Sokka. Surely this boy jests about being the Avatar," Mace Windu remarked,
"Well, he hasn't admitted that he's the Avatar to them. Perhaps there's a reason to this," Ki-Adi-Mundi said, "Apart from being trapped in an iceberg for so long,"
In the next scene, the audience is shown Katara searching for Aang in an area filled with penguins and some even laugh at Aang playfully pretending to be a penguin. The rest just lightened up and refused to retort to the Avatar's behavior.
Katara: Aang, I'll help you catch a penguin if you teach me water bending.
Aang: You got a deal. Just one little problem. I'm an Air Bender, not a Water Bender. Isn't there someone in your tribe who can teach you?
Katara: No. You're looking at the only Water bender in the Whole South Pole.
"They are much alike," Kit Fisto said, "Assuming that Aang may be the last Air Nomad of this world. Katara, on a smaller scale, is the only Waterbender in her tribe,"
Aang: This isn't right. A Water Bender needs to Master Water. What about the North Pole? There's another water tribe up there, right? Maybe they have Water Benders who could teach you.
Katara: Maybe, but we haven't had contact with our sister tribe in a long time. It's not exactly turn right at the Second Glacier. It's on the other side of the world.
Aang: But you forget. I have a flying bison. Appa and I can personally fly you to the North Pole. Katara, we're gonna find you a master.
Katara: That's - I mean... I don't know. I've never left home before.
Aang: Well, you think about it. But in the meantime, can you teach me to catch one of these penguins?
Katara: Ok. Listen closely, my Young Pupil. Catching penguins is an ancient and sacred art. Observe.
The moment Katara threw a fish to Aang's hands, some of the audience snickered at the young Avatar being surrounded by several penguins while the rest had another say in the matter.
"Something tells me that Katara would work well as Aang's teacher," Luninara remarked, "After she finished her training with a Master, of course,"
"Indeed, the potential she has. Such as the art of penguin catching," Yoda commented before laughing at the last part of his sentence,
They soon watched Aang and Katara penguin sledding as the former requested and admittedly, some of the audience couldn't express some joy towards the fun they were having.
But after long minutes of sledding with penguins, they were soon greeted with another sight in the South Pole; A Fire Nation Ship trapped in ice.
Aang: Whoa. What is that?
Katara: A Fire Navy Ship and a very bad memory for my people.
"If we take the shape of those ice around that Ship. I assume that they were attacked by Water Benders of the Southern Tribe when the Fire Navy assaulted their home," Plo Koon said,
"And if we add the fact that Katara is the only Water Bender in her tribe. The others were either killed or taken away," Ki-Adi-Mundi said,
Katara: Aang, Stop. We're not allowed to go near it. The ship could be booty-trapped.
Aang: If you want to be a bender, you have to let go of fear.
"Well, Fear or not. Going inside a ship of an enemy nation is still a hazard they shouldn't be in," Kenobi said,
"I agree, even an old vessel is still dangerous if one is not careful," Rex added,
They'd watch as Aang and Katara checked the ship's interior. Then they soon arrive at some armory with old and rusted weapons stacked onto their racks.
Katara: This ship has been haunted by the tribes since Gran Gran was a little girl. It was part of the Fire Nation's first attacks.
Aang: Ok. Back up. I have friends all over the world, even in the Fire Nation. I've never seen any war.
Katara: Aang, how long were you in that iceberg?
Aang: I don't know. A few days maybe.
Katara: I think it was more like a hundred years.
Aang: What? That's impossible. Do I look like a 112-year-old man to you?
Katara: Think about it. The War is a century old. You don't know it, because somehow you were in there that whole time. It's the only explanation.
"It would appear that this 100 Year's revelation has finally set in on him," Plo Koon remarked, especially when they saw Aang slump down on the floor and feel dejected by this revelation.
However, when Katara mentioned that there's a bright side to all of this. Aang bluntly stated that he got the chance to meet her and she smiled in response.
Most of the audience knew what this interaction meant to them, even if it was not their world. They held various opinions on the matter.
Some are all in for it as it's either a figment of a wonderful past or feel positive that these two with be together at some point in the future, even R2D2 expresses their opinion while others aren't too keen on the whole idea.
Regardless, they'd keep watching until the two accidentally triggered an old wired trap operated through pulleys and pipes, and finally, a flare was shot to the sky and it was their cue to leave.
"Well, that doesn't look good," Anakin remarked,
"It certainly doesn't" Kenobi added as he watched Aang carry Katara into his arms and jump through a hole in the ceiling,
Zuko: The Last Airbender. Quite agile for his old age. Wake my uncle! Tell him I found the Avatar.
The audience became worried for the two, then it is soon spread to the people of Southern Water Tribe as soon as Zuko pans his telescope to his left.
Zuko: As well as his hiding place.
Once a brief stare of Zuko's good eye, the scene goes black with the following message.
'To Be Continued...'
The Audience has their fears and worries about the situation now that the Fire Nation's Prince has set his sights on Aang, Katara, and the Southern Water Tribe.
They fear for their safety, but some remain hopeful that it'll all be settled with no one hurt. But some faced reality as this war isn't too keen on sparing anyone, especially the young and old people...
They turn to the only person who might hold the answers, though he came up with an answer as soon as they turned, "If you all want to what happens, just watch and you'll know it yourselves,"
With nothing else to say in the matter, they decided to take a brief break before continuing with the following chapter...
That is it for this chapter! Some of you may notice that some of the Star Wars Characters are a bit off-character or downright different than they are in the canon.
For that, I apologize as I'm not much of a true fan of the Star Wars Franchise. So feel free to correct me and I'll do what I can to make it right.
Next, I want to be honest with all of you. I have no intention of adding any Star Wars Villains in reaction the Avatar Series. Therefore, I must apologize for those who are looking forward to their reactions and opinions in the series.
But fear not! For they will be used for a different purpose and I promise that it won't disappoint you all.
And finally, for those who have noticed. Yes, I transferred the story from the Star Wars Clone Wars section to the Star Wars Fandom. It may come with a large risk, but I assure you that should this story get deleted, it'll be transferred to my AO3 account.
That is all and I'll see you all in the next episode: The Avatar's Return
(P.S.: For those who noticed the lack of appearance with C3PO and R2D2. Don't worry, they'll appear on certain points of episodes)
