Hey guys and gals, welcome back to Rising Remnant 01 and this around we will be staring up volume 2.
Yeah I wanted to take a bit of break between Volume 1 and Volume 2, so I could focus on other stories.
I have a lot of freaking ideas for this one, character development for the different characters, new ideas for the arcs and yes more ship development.
So with that said, let's get to this already!
Opening: Union from Gridman
Vale streets
Third person P.O.V.
In the city of vale at noon, we see a variety of people all enjoying their time in the big city, however we see two people in particular who were making their way to a book shop.
The first was a girl with dark skin and green hair with red eyes. She wore an exotic outfit that was mostly white with a green undershirt and on her back was a black symbol of a cut gem. She had white shorts with brown trousers strapped over the rest of her legs. And on the back of her waist were two holstered guns.
The other was a boy with silver hair and grey eyes. He wore a black and blue shirt with black trousers with a grey line through them and armour around the lower legs. He also had armour around his arms and black fingerless gloves.
"Ugh, why is this place so dull." The silver haired boy groaned, rolling his eyes.
"I kinda like it." The green haired girl disagreed, looking around. "Tall buildings, diverse culture."
"And nice, dopey people who are easy to pick pocket" The silver head boy smirked, looking at a wallet he just stole.
"That's every city!" The girl huffed rolling her eyes.
"Oh Emerald, master thief! Please don't take my money, I barley have enough to get by!" He mocked, which made the now named Emerald growl.
"Shut up Mercury!" She huffed and walked off, as the now named Mercury sighed..
"You're no fun." He sighed, following her.
Eventually the two made it to Tucson's store which had the blinds shut and a small sign saying Open.
The two smirked at each other and walked inside, to see Tucson paking away.
"Be right there" Tucson said, paking away some of the books "Sorry for the mess, I'm moving soon".
"Welcome to Tucson's book trade, home to every book under the sun" he said, setting the books down "How May I-" he said, before seeing Mercury and Emerald.
"How May I help you…" he said, a serious look on his face.
"Just browsing" Mercury said, looking at a book he had opened up.
"Actually, I was wondering, do you have any copies of The Thief and The Butcher" she asked, with Tucson nodding "Yes we do."
"That's great." She responded excitedly, as Tucson rose an eyebrow "Would you... like a copy?"
"No, just wondering," she replied as Mercury closes another book. "Oh, oh! What about Violets Garden in paperback?"
"He's got it, oh and the Hardback too." Mercury chimed in, holding up the book before opening it and looking inside.
"Ooh, options are nice." Emerald smiled, tapping her chin.
"Eh, no pictures." Mercury said, slamming the book closed. "Hey! Do you have any comics?
"Near the front" he said, pointing to the comics.
"Oh, no, wait! What... about... Third Crusade" Emerald asked once again which made made Tukson hesitate.
"Um... I…" Mercury and Emerald were eyeing him carefully. "...don't believe we carry that one.
"Oh?" Mercury said, slamming a book closed.
"What was this place called again?" She asked, walking up to the desk
"Tukson's Book Trade." Tucson said, as Emerald nodded "And you're Tukson?" she said, making Tucson nod "That's right."
"So then I take it that you're the one that came up with the catchphrase?" She wondered, making Tucson nod "Yes…"
"And, what was it again?" Mercury asked walking up next to Emerald.
"Tukson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun." he said, making Mercury smirk.
"Except the Third Crusade." He added, which Tucson gulp "I-It's just a catchphrase."
"And false advertising as well!" Mercury said, with Emerald turning to him.
"You shouldn't make a promise you can't keep, Tukson." Emerald said as Mercury flipped p a switch near the entrance which turned off the lights. "I hear that you're planning on leaving. Moving all the way to Vacuo."
Mercury activates another switch to close the curtains completely darkening the room "You're brothers in the White Fang won't be happy to hear that." She continued as Mercury locked the door "And neither are we... You know who we are, don't you?
"Yes…" Tucson said as Emerald asked another question "And you know why we're here." "Yes."
"So, are you going to fight back?" Emerald asked, as Tucson growled.
"YES!" Tucson roared unseating his claws and lunging at Emerald who simply ducked, allowing Mercury to kick Tukson before the scene cut.
We the see the two leaving the store, with Mercury reading one of the comic books.
"You're seriously reading that?" Emerald asked, as Mercury shrugged "I like the pictures, sue me".
However as they left, from the sky we see a portal open up above the city with some kind of laser shooting out towards the forest before closing up.
The laser landed on the ground, before materialising revealing a new sea foam coloured rider.
This rider had a black body with a silver armour on the chest should with a bird looking face on his helmet, which also had the humagear pieces on the sides, and his driver also looked like an ear piece with a progrosie key slotted in straight down, which looks like it could be turned. He also had sea foam coloured lining all around his body including over the silver armour making it look like feathers. Finally he looked to be wearing some kind of white trench coat with brown lining and a hoodie over his helmet.
"Ah so this is the remnant the president has told me about" he said, looking around the place not noticing Grimm stalking up towards him.
"Ah can't wait to see Master Alex and my darling Marine" he said, excitedly as the Grimm move up behind him.
The Grimm then swung it's clawed arm at the mysterious rider, when he suddenly disappeared surprising the Grimm.
The Grimm didn't have much time to process this, before being struck in the back before dissolving into a black dust revealing the rider now red in colour before quickly switching to brown.
"Phew, now then" he said, looking around "Where shall I go…".
Chapter 9: FOOD FIGHT! In another world
Meanwhile in Beacon
Third person P.O.V.
We see Alex walking through the hallways of Beacon towards the cafeteria while whistling a tune, before he started to hear the sound of footsteps "Alex!".
"Hmm?" Alex hummed, turning around to see Ruby running up to him holding a huge Binder "Oh hey Rubes, what's that?".
"Hehehe, you'll see soon enough but it's freaking awesome" she said, before looking around "Wait, where's Marine".
"Ah she's with Azure and Sepia, connecting their drivers to the satellite so they can summon weapons like as well as some new progrise keys" Alex explained, as they made it to the cafeteria and walked up the rest of Rwby's team, with Nora tossing grapes at Yang from the other table while Blake looked like she was studying in her book.
"Morning guys" Alex yawned sitting down next to the group
"Ahem. Sisters, friends… Weiss." Ruby said, clearing her throat before turning to her four friends on the table.
"Hey!"
"For score and seven minutes ago I had a dream." Ruby proclaimed happily, as Alex rested on his head on his hand.
"This oughta be good." Alex whispered while Yang caught another grape in her mouth.
"A dream that one day the seven of us would come together as a team and have the most fun anyone's ever had, ever!" Ruby stated, with Weiss noticing something "Did… did you steal my binder?"
"I am not a crook." Ruby answered quickly, making peace signs with both hands.
"Don't worry you can have one of mine" Alex said, to Weiss making her face turn a bit red "Y-Yeah t-thanks".
"What are you talking about?" Blake asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!" She answered, pointing at her.
"I always kick my semesters off with a Yang." Yang joked, being met by both a high five from Alex and a apple to the face with a loud boo from Nora.
"Look guys it's been a good week and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament, our second semester is going to be great. But, classes start back up tomorrow. Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today." Ruby said, motioning toward the over sized book.
Alex flipped through the large binder with a sweatdrop "How many events does you plan to do? Half of this stuff I've never even heard of…".
"I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss agreed as Yang got up and threw an apple back at Nora only to hit Ren.
Blake sighed and turned toward Weiss "I don't know, I think I might sit this one out."
"Sit out or not, I think however we spend this last day we should do it as a team." Weiss said before standing up.
"I for one think that-" Weiss said, being cut off by a pie smacking her face.
Alex snickered at this, before looking at Nora who was pointing at Ren.
An ominous aura came from the two teams, as they continued staring at each other with Alex smirking, standing up and slapping the Zero One driver on his waist.
"FOOD FIGHT!".
Alex and Marine's room
Third person P.O.V.
"And complete, you're Shot Risers are now connected to Satellite Noa" Marine explained, as we see the two blue guns on the desk.
"Okay, and what will this let us do?" Sepia asked, as Marine turned to her.
"This will allow the two of you access to new Harvey Industries Progrise keys, as well as the ability to download any Harvey Industries weapons" Marine explained before pulling out some new Progrise keys "These are some Progrise Keys that Satellite Noa has determined to work the best with you".
She then handed the two hunters two Progrise keys each, Azure got a Gorilla and a Bat Progrise key while Sepia got a Hornet and the leaping frog Progrise key.
"Azure, the Punching Kong key will give you and great increase of strength and defence, multiplying your strength by 4. You will also be equipped with rocket fists and decrease the requil and more strong weapons" she said, before handing him the Bat key.
"The Screeching Bat key on the other hand will give you great speed and the ability of flight, as well as night vision and a supersonic shout. You kicking power has also been increased thanks to the clawed feet"
"The bat I get but why a gorilla" Azure asked Marine's ear piece lit up.
"It seems Satellite Noa has determined that due to your superior vigour but insufficient intelligence, it has determined that this progrise key is perfect for you" Marine said, confusing the two.
"Uhh…what?" Azure asked, as Marine's ear piece flash "Apologise, I mean you are exactly like a Gorilla".
"WHAT WAS THAT!" Azure roared, which made Sepia snicker a bit while Marine turned to her.
"As for you, Satellite Noa has determined that the Lightning Hornet and the Leaping Frog Progise keys are best suited for your fighting style" she said, handing her the keys "Do you wish the test these keys now, or later?".
"Well now sounds good, where is Zero One" Sepia asked, as Marine turned pointed towards Cafeteria "I believe he mentioned he was meeting team Rwby for breakfast in the cafeteria".
"Good, I've seen your recordings and frankly I'm not impressed" Azure said, walking out of the room
"Someone needs to teach that kid how to fight properly asap" he saidk but then suddenly all three of them felt a rumble.
"What The heck was that" Sepia said, as Marine stood up "I believe that came from the Cafetria".
"I'll go and check it out" Azure said, running ahead.
"Hey Marine" Sepia said as she looked at their computer screen to see there was still one more progrise key in development "What's this new Progrise key in development".
"That is Shining Hopper key, a new key even more powerful any of the Progrise keys" Marine explained as Sepia looked at the data and secretly copied it.
Meanwhile outside the Cafeteria
Third person P.O.V.
Meanwhile outside of the cafeteria, we see that Sun was walking outside the large building with another guy about his age.
He was a teenage boy with tan skin, dark blue eyes and messy undercut light blue hair He was wearing a white dress shirt and black tie under a red jacket with acupturned, black collar and a pair of gray jeans with black padding strapped to the sides. The back of his jacket displays a silver reticle.
This was was Sun's friend and teammate Neptune.
"Man that's harsh," Neptune said, as Sun explained to him what happened at the docks.
"I know, we were fighting side by side. She was crazy fast and I threw a banana at the guy…. which sounds gross, but dude it was awesome." Sun explained, as Neptune pointed at him "Nice,"
"Right? And the best part is, she's a Faunus. But that's a secret, okay?" He added, with Neptune showing a thumbs up "Got it."
However Sun soon leaned in closer "And not a, "I'm gonna go tell Scarlet the second Sun turns his back secret", I'm talking secret secret." Sun stressed, forcing his partner to step back.
"Whoa, chill out, man, okay? I got it." He reassured his friend.
"You better." He then said, "I just don't want to screw this up, you know? The people here are the coolest! No offense to you guys.
"None taken." Neptune waved off.
However as two walked by the window they didn't notice all the food, plates, trays and even Jaune getting thrown at the window.
"Also remember the news mentioning those weird robot monsters that attacked Vale a few month ago?"
"Yeah I heard about it. Those things were beaten by a couple of hunters and a new kamen rider right? The green and black one? Or was it blue and black, or pink and black?" Neptune asked, with a nod.
"Yeah, I actually got to meet him in person." He answered, surprising Neptune "You met him?"
"Yeah dude, and not only that there were two more of those guys and one of them was breaking Faunus! He was wearing a hat so I didn't notice and thought he was just some jerk, but when I saw his ears I was like Whaaaattt" Sun said, doing a boom motion to emphasise his point
"Nice" Sun said, with a smirk as the two arrived at the entrance of the cafeteria.
"They're just in here, I'm really excited for you to meet them. So be cool, okay? You're gonna be cool, right?" Sun asked.
"Dude." Neptune said, striking a stance with his arms crossed while his teeth gleamed.
"Fair point."
"Move it!" Azure yelled shoving past them and entering the Cafeteria as well
"WOAH Hey it's one of those riders!" Sun said, as he and Neptune the entered the cafeteria to follow him only to find students running and screaming.
Many students are shown stampeding out the door past Azure, Sun and Neptune, with Azure and Neptune shocked at the freaking insane food fight that was currently going.

"MWAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!" Nora sang, as we see her on top of a gigantic mountain of tables with the at of her team on it as well.
"Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful!" She said, as she crushes a carton of milk in her hand "It will be… delicious!" We then rest of Team RWBY and Zero One all raise their fist in the air.
"YEAH!"
"Off with their heads!" Nora screamed as she and the rest of her team began tossing a bunch of watermelons at the group of five.
"Yang! Turkey! Alex! Kebabs!" she yelled, as Yang stuffed her fists into two turkeys while Zero One grabbed two really big Kebabs.
The two then proceeded to punch or slice as many of the incoming watermelons as they could, before Blake leapt over Yang while grabbing two baguettes.
She then joined the group of three as they cut down as many watermelons as they could.
Yang then threw the watermelons at Jaune knocking him back, while Blake and Pyrhha clashed with their baguettes.
Meanwhile Zero One grabbed the a bag of cookies before he began tossing the cookies like ninja stars from above.
We then see Blake and Pyrhha continue their clash before Blake was thrown back from her baguette lock with Pyrrha, she then proceeded to throw her Baguette at Yang who was running full speed toward her as she punched one loaf but a second hit her in the face.
Next we see Ruby jumping onto a food tray and rode across the table till she jumped and threw a loaf at Pyrrha only for Pyrrha to jump back and avoid it before impact.
Zero One dashed towards Jaune as he used a tray as a makeshift shield.
He then began slashed at him with his Kebabs but Jaune quickly knocked the riders weapons out of his hands.
The rider barely had time to sidestep his next hit before he grabbed a Baguette and used the loaf as a bat leaping over Jaune and swinging it to his back, full force sending Jaune flying towards a stash of food.
Pyrhha soon moved towards Zero One who barely avoided the attacks before he noticed something behind him, he then leapt over Pyrhha before kicking her towards the incoming Ruby who the tray right in Pyrrha's face and send her into a pile of tasty debris.
Ruby and Zero One then did a first bump, before the rider blinked seeing Weiss join in the fun "Huh?".
Weiss gripped a bottle of ketchup, squirting it on the ground causing the whole floor to be covered in the stuff, which caused a charging Ren to slip.
We then see Nora jumping onto a table while in mid air and jumped again, grabbing a pole and impaling a watermelon creating a makeshift hammer as she slammed the melon hammer towards Weiss.
However Zero One moved in front of her to take the incoming attack, sending him flying away.
Weiss was surprised at this before she went serious, grabbing a sword fish and lunged forward sending Nora flying, however she landed on her feet and dove forward spinning the melon hammer til she got a direct hit sending Weiss into a pillar cracking it wide open.
Ruby and Zero One noticed this before the two quickly dashed and caught Weiss, in a dramatic pose as the pillar fell behind them.
"Weiss! No!" Zero One screamed, over dramatically "What am I fighting for!".
"Weiss! Weiss, no please don't leave us!" Ruby cried before the two looked up.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"Alley opp!" Yang yelled she charged passed the two, locked and loaded with new turkey gauntlets as Ren got a two Baguettes to block her kick.
The two glared at each other before they began to brawl.
Yang delivered multiple punches to his chest with next punch making him spin a bit before she delivered an uppercut, sending him in the air.
However Ren took the chance and threw his Baguettes at her forcing Yang to jump back to avoid it before she jumped in the air and sent Ren to the ground, crashing onto a cluster of tables.
"REN NO!" Nora screamed as she slammed the watermelon hammer at Yang forcing the blonde brawler to dodge it by jumping a couple of steps back.
The two charged towards each other before Nora swung her makeshift hammer upwards, knocking Ynag into the air and through the roof.
Blake then engaged Nora, armed with a link of sausages she was able to knock Nora back ad crash into one of the vending machines causing it to spill its contents all over the floor.
"Of couse now that works" Nora said, as the valkyrie proceeded kick a soda can towards Blake which exploded like a grenade.
She continued to do this, generating an unrelenting assault of soda cans with Pyrrh soon joining in by raising her hands, using her Semblance to lift the remaining soda cans, creating two tendrils of cans all dashing towards Blake and no matter how much the Faunus resisted the onslaught, she was quickly swept away in the maelstrom and she soon crashed into a wall.
Ruby and Zero One, the last two combatants on their team still standing looked towards team JNPR starting down at them.
Ruby and Alex looked at each other and nodded before they looked at the other team.
"The only ones who can stop you…is us!" the two said, before the two entered a running stance with Zero One pressing his Progrise key in.
Grasshoppers Ability!
The two then took off at great speeds as a large wind current came behind the sending all a bunch of stuff following as well.
Zero One slammed his key in again as two soon jumped into the air.

RISING ROSE IMPACT!
The two send an extremely powerful energy charged double rider kick, before they crashed into the wall causing all of the food, drinks and tables following them to crash right into team JNPR.
The two leapt of the wall and turned around walking away from incredible art piece akin to the best abstract painting, with team JNPR slowly sliding off the large piece.
(end song)
"I love these guys" Sun said, as he looked next to him to see Azure and Neptune currently covered head to toe in food.
The door behind them burst open with Professor Goodwitch marching in angrily.
She soon waved her riding crop, which restored the room to some semblance of order, bringing Nora's gigantic 'castle' back to a standard rows of table and repsring the large crated in the wall as well. However the large food mess, remained untouched.
"Children! Please, do not play with your food" she ordered, only to be met with a burp from Nora and Yang crashing through the roof
The teens soon burst into laughter at what they had just done, with Glunda glaring at them.
"Let it go." Ozpin said as he put a hand on Goodwitch's shoulder from behind.
"They're supposed to be the defenders of the world." Goodwitch said in response.
"They are still children, so let them be children after all" Ozpin said, walking past her "It's not a role they will have forever".
"Alex" Ozpin said, as Alex turned to him "Huh? Yeah Prof?".
"There is someone in my office, who says he'd like to meet you and Marine" he said, making Alex turn his head in confusion.
Ozpins Office
Third person P.O.V.
"Do you know what's going on Marine?" Alex asked, as the two walked towards Ozpins office "I know he said someone what's to meet us but for what?".
"I am not certain Brother, perhaps it is about the upcoming Vytal Festival or perhaps he discovered some news about father" Marine said, as Alex nodded "Oh yeah good point, come on let's go".
They both walked into the office, only to find the person who wanted to meet them was the rider from before.
"Uh, who is this?" Alex asked, as Ozpin turned to him "Ah Alex, we found him walking around Vale looking for you two".
"Ah greetings Master Alex" he said, walking up to Alex "I am Kamen Rider Delphi, or you can call me Torine Nazotoku" he said, removing the progrise key in his driver returning to normal.
Alex and Marine were surprised to see that he was a Humagear that looked similar to Marine exclet male with black hair with green strands, and a similar outfit as Marines except a male version, his ear piece however looked to be an Older model then Marines.
"Eh?! You're a Humagear?" Alex said, as the man smiled.
"That's right I was sent here by our dear President Matthew to assist his grandson Alex and my dear brilliant younger sister, Marine" He said, shocking Alex and Marine.
"EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH?!"
Later that night
Third person P.O.V.
We see Emerald and Mercury reutning to an old ware house to find the White Fang moving around crates from BullHeads.
The two ignored the white fang however and walked up to Roman who turned around and smirked.
"Oh, look! She sent the kids again! This is turning out just like the divorce!" Roman said. as he wrapped his arms around the two in a big group hug.
"Spare us the thought of you procreating." Emerald scoffed, pushing Torchwick off of them as he approached his desk.
"That was a joke and this..." Torchwick stated, as he held up a piece of paper. "Just might tell me where you've two have been all day."
"Wait, what?" Emerald blinked, checking her pockets to find her paper missing.
"I'm a professional sweetheart, pay attention maybe you'll learn something." Torchwick taunted, before looking at the paper. "Why do you have this address?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Emerald said, crossing her arms trying to avoid the question.
"Yeah I would, now where've you been all day?" Torchwick questioned, only for Mercury to suddenly cut in.
"Cleaning up your problem. One of them at least." Mercury said, point at him?
"I had that under control." Torchwick growled, glaring at Mercury and Emerald.
"Two packed bags and a ticket out of Vale said otherwise." Mercury said, sarcastically
"Listen you little punk." Torchwick said pointing at Mercury. "If it were up to me I would take you and your little street rat friend here and I would..."
"Do what Roman?"
Roman blinked, before looked up to see a woman with long black hear with fiery orange eyes and a red dress with gloowing yellow lining on the staring glaring at him. This was their boss, Cinder Fall.
"I'd, uh… not kill them?" he stuttered, while laughing nervously.
"Cinder!" Emerald said, excitedly as Cinder passed them.
"I thought I made it clear that you were to eliminate the would be runaway." Cinder stated, as she walked towards Roman.
"I was going to but..." Roman said before being cut off by Emerald.
"He was going to escape to Vacuo, Mercury and I decided to take it upon ourselves to kill the rat." Emerald bragged, only to be met by a Ice cold glare from Cinder.
"And didn't I tell you two to keep your hands clean while we were in Vale" she asked, scaring Emerald and Marcury.
"I, we just thought..." Emerald started only for Cinder to cut her off.
"Don't think, obey." Cinder said calmly, but with a terrifying intensity.
"Yes ma'am, it won't happen again." Emerald answered, lowering her gaze.
"And you why did take so long for this job to be done" Cinder asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Um" Roman said before emphasising the large crates of dust standing all around them.
"Sorry if I've been a little busy stealing every speck of dust in the Kingdom, around, I've got this town running scared." He said.
"Police camping out at every corner, Dust prices through the roof, and we're sitting pretty in an old warehouse with more Dust, crystals, vials, and rounds then we know what to do with." Roman said, before lifting up with Zetsumerisers "And thanks to these babies from our new friend we don't have to worry about any hunters or riders".
"Speaking of which, if you guys wouldn't mind filling me in on your grand Master plan. It might make my next string of robberies go a little smoother." Torchwick asked, clear anger on his face but Cinder only smirked.
"Oh Roman, have a little faith in me. You'll know what you need, when you need to know." Cinder said, in an alluring tone as she cupped Torchwick's chin in her hand locking eyes with him "Besides we're done with Dust."
"Ooookay then what now?" Roman asked, as Cinder turned and walked away softly back.
"We're moving, have the White Fang clear out this building. I'll send you details and coordinates tonight." Cinder said as she turned and started to leave.
"Coordinates?" Roman asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"We are proceeding to phase two." Cinder said, walking off with Emerald and Mercury following her "Oh and have our new friend send us more expensive products, we are going to need them".
Roman halred at her before walking into his office and smirking "Oh don't worry Cinder, I got a very expensive product on the way".
He looked up to see a Zetsumerisee as well as the Dodo key which was being customized and fitted with new dust weapons and abilities.
The scene froze as it showed off all of Alex's Progrise keys.
Alex: Rising Hopper, Biting Shark and Flying Falcon.
Azure: Shooting Wolf, Punching Kong and Screeching Bat
Sepia: Rushing Cheetah, Lightning Hornet and Leaping Frog
Furo: Nevermore.
Sori: Deathstalker, Gast and Griffon.
And done,and wow this chapter was a long time coming.
You guys may be wondering why I'm introducing a new rider and the Shinning Hopper key well it's because they are going to be very important for Marine's character arc in this Volume.
Also what do you guys think about Roman being the Dodo Magia, I thought it could work since the colours fit and I'm not using the Dodo key for Ikazuchi at least for awhile.
Anyway with that said, onto the reviews.
