Chapter 14

(Third Person P.O.V.)

At an air show in Arizona Akihisa was with his friend Pete Costas and also with Roberto and Kubo whom Akihisa brought along and introduced Pete to, all four of them were watching the planes and enjoying the air show.

"Living life at the speed of sound, is this cool or what?" Pete said joyfully and enthusiastically, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as he watched the aircraft with his binoculars.

"Pete if you're so Mr. Wild Blue Yonder, why not take flying lessons?" Akihisa asked curiously in response to his friend's question, his tone of voice matching his facial expression.

"Sure, one of these days." Pete casually said in response to Akihisa's question before going back to watching the air craft in the sky with his binoculars.

"Ahh he'll never do it." Akihisa said knowing Pete wasn't going to as Roberto then spoke and said, "Yeah, and I don't blame him." bluntly, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as Kubo then spoke as well and said, "same here, I agree with you." also bluntly, his tone of voice and facial expression more or less the same as Roberto's as Akihisa looked at both of them and said, "What are two both talking about? You both have flown Hawk dozens of times." in a surprised and confused tone of voice and matching facial expression as he continued to look at both Kubo and Roberto, as they both looked back at Akihisa and Roberto said, "Yeah, from our cozy little console Hermano, no way you will get me behind a stick in the air, Mama Martinez didn't raise no fool." bluntly and casually, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as Kubo then spoke and said, "Right, and the reason I can't fly is because unless I know exactly what to do and what I am doing I go into panic mode and may even suddenly get dizzy and pass out, which is even more reason why I can't and shouldn't fly an aircraft from within the cockpit." bluntly as he felt a sense of relief after saying that, his tone of voice matching his facial expression.

Akihisa then looked at the both of them and said, "Guys, I brought you here to get your noses away from video screens." slightly annoyed, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as both Roberto and Kubo looked back at Akihisa and Roberto said, "Sorry Hermano, force of habit." apologetically his tone of voice matching his facial expression, as Kubo then nodded and said, "Yeah same here, sorry Akihisa." apologetically as well, his tone of voice matching his facial expression, as Pete was watching the aircraft in the sky with his binoculars, Akihisa, Roberto, and Kubo all then walked up to him and Akihisa said, "Pete! Hey Costas, I know it is a day early but." joyfully his tone of voice matching his facial expression as he handed Pete his early Birthday gift, Pete then took it and said, "Passes to tomorrow's shuttle landing! Oh, Yoshii I love you!" happily and excited, his facial expression very clearly and obviously matching his tone of voice as Akihisa looked at him and said, "Hmm, you're not my type, but it's a date, Happy Birthday dude." happily and gladly, his tone of voice matching his facial expression.

Just then an announcement came over the intercom that said, "And now D.O.A.'s main event, the Tri-star Six." to get everyone in attendance at the air show excited and hyped up as Akihisa and his three friends all looked up and saw the jet and Pete said, "There it is." casually but still a bit excited, his tone of voice matching his facial expression.

As the jet flew by and past the four young men on the ground it started feeling some turbulence before picking something big up and approaching on its radar and before the pilot knew it he and his plane were swallowed up by a large dark cloud, which made panic and try to communicate with ground control as he desperately, worriedly and fearfully said, "Tower, come in tower do you read?!" before the jet and its pilot inside suddenly disappeared along with the giant cloud, seeing this from the ground Akihisa, Roberto and Kubo all knew something was definitely not right, the three of them then told Pete that they had to go because something important just came up at N-Tek and Akihisa's older brother Akito was asking for them, the three of them then said bye to Pete and went on their way.

Soon afterwards Akihisa, Kubo, and Roberto were all riding a transport through an underground railway to N-Tek while watching a news report on what happened, that said while there was still no sign or trace of the Tri-star Six the pilot was found hundreds of miles from the air show unharmed wondering through the Arizona desert, and the pilot claims he does not know what happened, in fact he does not even remember taking off.

Jean Mairot then appeared on the screen and spoke directly to Akihisa, Kubo, and Roberto and said, "Steel, Kubo, Martinez, I'm rerouting you three from N-Tek Island to Blue Base." as Jean said that calmly and casually, the transport switched changed its direction and route, as Jean said on the screen, "What you witnessed this morning today was only the latest in a series of unexplained disappearances. Something or someone has been stealing experimental aircraft from right out of the sky, so I want team Steel on the case, Mairot out." calmly and collected his facial expression matching his tone of voice as the screen then turned off as Akihisa activated his Bio-link on his wrist and turned into Max Steel.

The three of them then arrived and saw a huge plane in the hanger, which caused Max to say, "Whoa!" in complete and total astonishment, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as Rachel, Yuuko and Jean all then showed up.

Rachel then began to explain and said, "This is Behemoth, Team Steel's new mobile base of operations." calmly and collected, as Roberto then said, "Big enough hold Hawk, Shadow, The Hydro Jet, and all of the N-Tek gear you'll ever need." calmly, collected and enthusiastically, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as Kubo nodded in agreement, as they all came to a stop and Max merely said, "Sweet!" in amazement and astonishment, his tone of voice matching his facial expression.

Max then looked and Saw Chuck wiping down Behemoth by hand and then said, "Hey Chuck, you missed a spot." calmly and casually, his facial expression matching his tone of voice as Rachel, Jean and Yuuko all looked at each other before turning and looking at Max as Chuck also looked at Max before turning going back to wiping down Behemoth as Jean cleared his throat and said, "Team Steel will fly to Arizona, over the desert, where all of the missing flight crews have been found." calmly and collected his facial expression matching his tone of voice, as Rachel then said, "Behemoth is our bait, I'll be aboard her to troubleshoot, while you follow in Hawk at a discreet distance and in stealth mode." calmly and collected, her tone of voice matching her facial expression, as Max asked, "Okay, and who flies Behemoth?!" in a confused and curious tone of voice and matching facial expression as Roberto then said, "I can take over... Uh from my console." awkwardly his tone of voice matching his facial expression as Jean then said, "No, running the console-" Rachel then continued by saying, "And Max." as Jean then continued speaking and said, "Is a full time responsibility." in a calm and collected tone of voice and matching facial expression.

Chuck then lowered himself down from the lift machine and said, "Alright, you talked me into it." calmly and casually, his tone of voice matching his facial expression as Max looked at him and said, "Uh no offense but I think we need someone a bit more qualified." completely unaware as Rachel then said, "Max, you do know who this is right?" hoping that Max would answer her question correctly, as Max looked at her and then at Chuck before saying, "Well yeah, Chuck, the janitor." still completely unaware.

Rachel then looked at Max and said, "Allow me to introduce Charles Marshak, N-Tek's head of Operations." calmly and collected, her tone of voice matching her facial expression as Jean then said, "He's a Division Chief like myself." calmly and collected, his tone of voice matching his facial expression, as Roberto then said, "Mr. Marshak's team built Behemoth, if he's willing to pilot for us, then can you say over qualified." calmly and collected his facial expression matching his tone of voice.

Max then looked at Chuck and said, "Uh, welcome to Team Steel, Sir." shocked and surprised his facial expression matching his tone of voice as he shook Chuck's hand.

Yuuko had hands on her hips in the lab, as she looked at Roberto who merely looked back at her as Yuuko said "Ok I admit you and Kubo work well together, but me and Akihsia bond over the thrill of life or death every day" as calmly and collected as she could be or at least was trying to be as she tried to make her facial expression match her tone of voice.

Roberto then looked back at her and said, "Yes but I can always have a conversation with my boyfriend, while your boyfriend has to look up ever other word you use in order to understand what you mean and are talking about." as he tried to say it as calmly and collected as possible and tried to make his facial expression match his tone of voice as well.

Yuuko then hissed at Roberto who then hissed back, both of them just repeatedly shouting "No my boyfriend is better" angrily, both their tones matching their facial expressions.

Miharu then walked by them to get to the coffee machine next to them and whispered, "...So this is what both me and Akihisa look like when we have a, no my girlfriend is better fight, This is so wierd seeing it from the other end." to herself surprised, her facial expression matching her tone of voice.
