A Different Future… 7

"I think you're amazing, you're so strong, so smart and beautiful… I think we truly have something between us, something special, so… what… what I am trying to say is…" He held his breath. "Asuka Kazama, will you please go out with me?" Danny said in a very shy voice.

Upon hearing his words, Asuka fist pumps.

"Sore ni tsuite wa mondai arimasen. !" She went. Upon seeing the confused smile on his face, Asuka laughed it off. "That means yes, Shorty.

"Okay, 7th chapter, 8th runner up girl and 9th girl overall, Asuka Kazama from Tekken." NeoMark said.

"Asuka, huh?" FP11 said.

"Whoohoo!" 61394 said

"Oh. I'm looking forward to this." BCFW answered with rubbed hands.

"Cool." Luiz4200 commented.

"Danny's next girl is the oldest, which is cool." PFN said.

"Another video game character…" Deadpool proudly says.

"Second video game character… wow…" NeoMark said, pleasantly surprised by this.

"Yeah… you made the right call picking only animated works and stretching it by throwing in video game characters, a popular medium not in the first one. This isn't at all me saying this because, outside of Number Boy, you're the one who writes my dialogue and this is me stroking your fragile ego." Deadpool snarked.

"I don't have a fragile ego, I have a giant and sturdy ego." NeoMark said proudly.

"... you mean you have a normal sized ego, right?" FP11 asks, but saw that his expression didn't change.

"...I know what I said." NeoMark shrugs.

Flower Princess11 shook her head at this as Deadpool pulled out a large speaker.

"I stole this from Titans' Tower. This is gonna play some killer music from Tekken!" Deadpool went.

"...Seriously?" FP11 asks. "Also… WHY did you steal it?"

"Because…" Deadpool snickered. "After the Game Awards just passed… this game nerd is ecstatic as all heck. Okami sequel, new Virtua Fighter… AND Astro Bot won game of the year, proving platformers have their place in this world."

"HECK YEAH!" NeoMark happily went.

"Okamiiiiiiiiii!" PFN yelled excitedly.

"I guess we better play some traditional Japanese music." BCFW leaned back. "Just kidding. Crank up the Final Fantasy victory tune!"

Flower Princess11 stared at the two with no emotion whatsoever. She shook her head and sighed before rolling her eyes.

"I feel like asking you to stop shilling for video games is a lost cause… So… just get it out of your system so we can move on. We have more epilogues to check out, ya know…" She reminded them.

"Like the one for a video game I've actually played." 61394 said. "Well, I played Street Fighter too, but I like Tekken more."

"Push the button!" NeoMark said.

Deadpool did so and out came the Jungle Outpost theme. The two danced in their seats. Most were unamused, though 61394 bopped his head and PFN soon danced with them.

"I like this one." 61394 said as he continued bopping his head.

"It's got a nice tune." BCFW tapped his foot to the beat.

"And now…" NeoMark raised a finger. "Get Ready for the Next Future!"

15 years later

"Kore o uketotte kudasai!" A much older Asuka Kazama went, her fist connecting with a gloveless hand.

The impact caused the owner of that hand to almost fall, managing to get his footing before getting back up.

"Whoa! Asuka! This is a training sesh, remember?!" Danny, who was now 6 feet and much more muscular, found himself still at a disadvantage against her in a one-on-one match.

"Dakaratoitte, watashitachi ga anata o tsuyoku dekinai to iu kotode wa arimasen." She said with a smile. "Futsū no ningen mitai ni tatakau gijutsu o migakanakya ikenai yo, Shōti."

"Asuka… I'm taller than you now. I've been taller for like 8 years. Can you quit calling me Shorty?" Danny said with a slight chuckle. He didn't hate the name, but he hated how she still talks to him like he's still that 14 year old boy she met 15 years ago from time to time.

"Dewa, naze son'na koto o suru nodeshou ka, dan'na-sama?" Asuka's grin grew as she got into a fighting stance

Her husband did the same, albeit, he was breathing much more heavily.

The two continued their little spar, but what was a little spar to them was practically a slaughter to any outsider who saw this. Asuka was just a better fighter than her husband, and in better health.

Asuka wore a white short sleeved traditional Japanese shirt with black flower design at the left side of her top, black hakama with a white triangle design inside of her hakama with red linings and black, red and white in-step protectors. She also wears matching gray and white fingerless gloves with red and black knuckle guards and a white headband tied around her forehead.

Danny wore a more traditional white gi with a black head band and a white red belt. This was a gift from Sakura and her World Warrior friends, and all he had for these sessions.

Asuka pulled her fist back before swinging it. Danny blocked it, but the impact made him lose his footing once more.

"Sā, anata..."Asuka swung a kick, which Danny barely dodged in time.

"If you insist..." Danny said as he threw a fist.

Asuka bobbed her head out of the way in time to avoid the attack.

"Kawaī baka~yanaranaide!" She shouts before she throws another punch.

Danny raised a hand in time to block it. With a confident laugh, Danny twisted her arm before pulling her in, wrapping it around her as he held her close.

"You gotta do better than that, Asuka." Danny said to her with a flirty smile.

"Oioi. Jishin kajō ni naranaide kure yo, Shōti." Asuka looked him in the eye with a cute smile. "Kenka no toki ni jishin kajō ni naru no wa yoku arimasen... Tatoe tsuma ni taishitedeatte mo."

With great speed and force, Asuka pulled herself free, swinging him overhead onto the matted floor of their small dojo of the backyard.

Why do I always fall for that? Oh right… I'm deeply in love with her… Danny thought as he tried to get back up.

Once he did, he was reminded that, without his powers, Asuka was the better fighter and stronger than any woman he knew. However, this was the reason he was so deeply into her.

Asuka held back, yet that was still enough to overwhelm him. Finally, Danny took a knee and held his hands up.

"Okay! You win! I give! I give!" He went.

Asuka pulled her fist back, putting both hands on her hips as she looked down at her husband with a laugh.

"Sorede... Anata wa, jibun no chō nōryoku o tsukau mae ni, ningen no karada o kitaeta hō ga zutto yoi kekka ga deru to mitomete iru nodesu ka?" She asks.

"Yes. I'll put some effort into training more often, like I did with learning Japanese…" Danny rubbed his arm to soothe the soreness he felt.

"Anata no nihongo wa waraeru hodo hetadesuga, sukunakutomo dageki ni wa tae rareru hazudesu." Asuka offered a hand to help Danny up.

Before Danny could voice his slight displeasure at his wife using him like a training dummy, she suddenly pulled him in for a near-bone crushing hug.

"Why do I get the feeling you really love using me as some kind of stress relief?" Danny asks with an eye roll as he smiles a bit.

"Anata o kiratte iru wakede wa Arimasu. Tada... Issho ni ite tanoshī dakedesu." Asuka said as she lightened her grip slightly.

"You could just… not hit so hard. I need to be in top shape in case a ghost attacks." Danny said.

"Ato de naite mo shirande. Tekagen irande." Asuka insisted before she laughed a bit.

Before Danny could respond, Asuka grasped his face with both hands and planted a kiss on him, making him freeze in place and shutting him up.

Once it was done, Danny pulled back. The feeling of her lips on his caused him to realize this was another losing battle, evident by his sigh and head shake.

"You're really something, aren't ya?" Danny responds to her.

"Demo. Kyō wa kongurai de yurushita wa." Asuka said with a smile as she turned away and headed to the sliding door. "Sā. Mika ga matte imasu." She said, gesturing for Danny to follow her.

He did so, shaking his head with a smile.

This is what I get for marrying her… He thought as they re-entered the house.

There, on the living room floor, they saw a small child playing with a toy panda, a gift from someone Asuka knew.

This small girl looked much like Asuka, albeit her brown hair was far shorter in an almost boyish length, but with blue eyes and a lighter complexion. This is Mika Fenton, their daughter, age 3. She was wearing a cute teal dress, with matching shoes and ribbons in her hair.

"Bake!" The little girl said as she made the toy panda kick a toy ghost down with a smile. "Take that! And this!"

Just then, she made her panda toy act as if it was choking the ghost until it appeared to be knocked out

"Whoa there, Mika." Her babysitter, a familiar young woman at 27, went. "No need to make your toy of your buddy, Panda… why did she name him that? Is he a Pokémon or something? … that much of a fighter."

A young woman with long black hair in a ponytail, a dark blue jacket and jeans, along with a red beanie that looked like one from when she was a kid.

This was Danielle, grown up.

"Thanks for watching her, Sis." Danny said as she became aware of their presence.

"No probs." Danielle said with a smile. "We have fun, don't we, Mika?"

"Yeah! Danielle-obasan!" Mika went with arms raised happily.

"That means aunt… right?" Danielle asks the two.

"Hai." Asuka responded.

"Uh… hi?" Danielle went with an eyebrow raised.

"She's not saying hi, she's saying yes in Japanese." Danny informed his younger sister.

The youngest of his sisters rolled her eyes at this before noticing how sweatier and slightly bruised Danny was, which she found a bit entertaining.

"So, Asuka? That outfit come standard for Kazama ladies in how they pummel their hubbies?" She held some amusement in how Asuka treats the man she has a daughter with.

"Atashi o karakatte iru nodeshou ka?" Asuka asks with an eyebrow raised.

She perfectly understood English, it's simply she didn't put as much effort into speaking it as she used to after Danny began to understand Japanese better.

"She likes your outfit." Danny gestured to her look.

Hearing that, Asuka smiled and nodded.

"Imouto-san, anata wa mada bīnī-bō o kabutte iru nodesu ne. Sutairu no sentaku o kaenai hito mo iru nodesu ne. Tokuni sore ga jibun ni atte iru toki wa." Asuka grinned at her with a wink.

"... what did she say?" Danielle kept up a smile as she directed her attention to Danny.

Unlike him, she barely understood Japanese, and longer dialogue like Asuka's caused her to get lost.

"...she likes your outfit too." Danny simplified it.

"Aww, thanks." Danielle said.

"Wanna stay for dinner?" Danny asks.

"Heck yes." Danielle said with a smile.

Asuka, meanwhile, picked up her daughter.

"Ī kodatta? Watashi no kawaī Mika?" Asuka asks with a cheerful tone.

"Sōdatta yo, mama." Mika giggled as she hugged her mother.

"And introducing… Mika Fenton." Danny said.

"Interesting how Asuka is the oldest girl Danny's met in any version… minus Lapis but she's a magic space rock… and they have the youngest child." Deadpool pointed out.

"Actually, when Penny's future was shown in the original, she was pregnant with their first child." NeoMark said.

"Yeah, she was..." FP11 nodded.

"Oh right…" Deadpool shrugged. "Well… youngest first born to be alive so far."

"Right." NeoMark said. "So, thoughts on her?"

"Mika kinda reminds me a bit of Annie." FP11 says.

"It's probably because of the teddy bear." 61394 said.

"And because both girls have awesome mothers." Luiz4200 said.

"Kawaii." BCFW said.

"Cute." PFN said.

"Everyone but BCFW, who likes to guesstimate, let's hear your questions regarding this future." NeoMark said.

"I guess my question is if Asuka helps Danny fight villains." FP11 said.

"Mine would be what crazy adventures did Danny and Asuka have ." 61394 said.

"Since she is the oldest, when did they have their first kiss?" PFN asks.

"Alrighty..." NeoMark rubbed his hands together. "So... Danny and Asuka wouldn't really be a proper couple until he's 16, she's still 18 when it happened. Their first proper kiss would be then too. And yes, she does help him fight baddies. They do indeed have crazy adventures, some regarding events in Tekken, to dealing with other threats."

"Even Akuma? The one Street Fighter villain who canonically exists in Tekken?" Deadpool asks.

"Yup." NeoMark said. "As you might guess, Danny being involved with a much older girl would raise heads. Still, Asuka would be respectful to his family, especially his parents. Danny would also help keep Lili off Asuka's back. Before anyone asks, only people Asuka trusts would learn Danny's identity. So, anyone she trusts canonically in Tekken canon? They know."

"Neato. So... Jin's girlfriend and the cop who is pretty much Jackie Chan likely know." Deadpool nodded.

"Okay... back to plot." NeoMark said.

One hour later

Danielle was helping to make dinner as Danny was in the living room with his little girl.

"Mika? Ready to fly like Daddy?" Danny asks as he holds her up.

"Fly, Papa, fly!" Mika held her arms out.

As this happened, Danielle was making a side dish for dinner as Asuka, who had just finished making some yakitori and tonkatsu, noticed what was in the pot.

"Nani? Mame o yude teru ndesu ka?" Asuka questioned.

"Check it out, beans." Danielle said with a smile.

"Watashitachi ni onara o sa setai no?" Asuka bluntly asks.

Danielle just glanced at her, having no idea what she said. Slowly, her eyes went to Danny, who was too far to notice what was going on as he was too busy playing with his little girl.

All she could do was smile and shrug at Asuka, who rolled her eyes.

"I ask… you want us to fart?" Asuka, whose English was rusty, explained what she said.

"Oh… no." Danielle said with a shake of her head.

"I smell the baked beans that Mom made us once!" Danny called out.

"That's right! Old family recipe she showed us." Danielle said as she poured some of the beans into a bowl for the three of them, knowing they're not fit for a small child, before glancing at Asuka. "So if you stick your nose up at these… you're not just insulting me, but my mom… and generations of your little girl's ancestors."

Asuka rolled her eyes with a small smile.

"Sōnaruto… mame o taberu shika naidesu ne." She said.

"Huh?" Danielle asks.

"I said… In that case... I have… little choice but to sample your beans." Asuka responds as she takes a bowl.

"Food's ready?" Danny asks with a smile as he carries Mika to her seat.

"Sure is." Danielle said as she and Asuka took their seats.

"Subarashī!" Asuka pressed her hands together. "Itadakimasu!"

"I-daki-ma!" Mika went, clapping her hands in an adorable manner.

With that, they began eating, Mika eating simpler food for a 3 year old. Asuka took a spoonful of beans, tasting them with a nod.

"Aji wa igaito oishīdesu." She said before noticing Danielle had no idea what that meant. "I said… surprisingly good."

Danielle nodded with a proud smile.

"So, Sis?" Danny got her attention. "Asuka and I are gonna visit her dad soon. Think you can keep an eye on the town while we're gone? No issue if you can't."

"When do you plan on going?" Danielle asks.

"September." Asuka managed to answer.

"Huh… I think I can handle it." Danielle answered.

"Arigato." Asuka said with a relieved smile.

"Yeah, thanks." Danny said.

"Anything for you, seeing how you helped take down that Heihachi creep." Danielle sent her brother a wink.

"And now I got Reina on my back…" Danny muttered.

"Shinpai Shinaide, Danny-kun. Moshi Mishima no yōjo ga kimi ni te o dashitara… sono-te o kiriotosu yo!" Asuka clenched her fist with a confident smile.

"I'm down for you pummeling her." Danny said with a fond smile as Danielle snickered at the idea.

"Wait… Danny helped in taking down Heihachi?" 61394 asked with wide eyes. "Uh… HOW?!"

"Well… let's just say his inclusion… changed things. Granted, it'd have happened after what's going on in Tekken 8." NeoMark said.

"Heihachi? Heihachi…" FP11 repeated, trying to recall that name.

"He's the bad guy we mentioned, the abusive father of Kazuya, and the abusive grandfather of Jin Kazama." NeoMark answered.

"Big bad like Dark Danny bad." 61394 chimes in.

"I don't know much. But didn't you imply he wasn't a threat anymore or something?" PFN asks.

"... so… who's Reina? And did Tucker try something with her?" Luiz4200 asks.

NeoMark took a breath.

"...Well… one of the advantages of taking too dang long in finishing this is… stuff happens to make one rethink future scenes. So… I suppose it's okay to say this but… spoilers for current Tekken games." NeoMark said.

"So… all readers who don't want to read them… wait until you hear the sound of Hank Hill crying out in distress." Deadpool snickered. "It'll go like this… BWAAAAAA!"

"Everyone ready?" NeoMark asks, looking around.

"I am." FP11 said.

"I don't play Tekken. So, I'm alright with spoilers." BCFW floated into a tilted seated position..

"Let's just hope whatever ideas you have for a hypothetical story for here isn't as potentially fanbase angering as putting Necalli in a Street Fighter crossover." 61394 says having put on Mandalorian armor before returning to his pillow fort. "Go for it."

"So… Heihachi and Kazuya appear to have their final battle at the end of Tekken 7. Heihachi, who has a habit of throwing the beaten bodies of his foes, even his own son when he was a child, off a cliff. Kazuya returns the favor and tosses his father down a cliff over a river of lava." NeoMark said.

"Yeah yeah… even I know that." 61394 says. "What's the part that'll tick people off?"

"He threw his own son off a cliff?!" FP11 said in a horrified tone. "I have so many questions… namely what the heck he was thinking and how that guy wasn't arrested."

"First it was to see if he could get up… then retconned to see if he inherited the devil gene from his wife, Kazumi." NeoMark answered.

"As for why he's not arrested… he's Heihachi Mishima… he could buy the prison." Deadpool said.

"It's questionable why, if Jin's mother had extended family, he wasn't sent to live with them instead… but the best answer is that they didn't exist yet." NeoMark said.

"That's interesting." PFN said before asking the obvious. "So… Heihachi died?"

"That's what the world thought and accepted… until the DLC for 8 revealed a group called the Tekken monks saved him and, upon gaining amnesia, Heihachi became a nice guy who wanted to atone for his deeds." NeoMark said.

"Then he headbutts a meteor and the impact restores his memories and goes back to being a psycho with a hunger for power and pretty much bodied all the monks." Deadpool said quickly.

"... what was that about a meteor?" Luiz4200 asked, wondering if it was the Disasteroid.

"So… who's Reina?" FP11 questioned.

"She… well, we don't know about the adoption part until the DLC, but in the base game, she's revealed to the player that she's Heihachi's daughter. She was a member of the Hachijo clan, the clan his wife was a part of. Short version: she tried to kill him after their son was born, and their son too as to not let him grow up evil. Heihachi had to kill her, driving him off the deep end even though he was already not so great as he killed his good guy dad. At some point before the time skip in 3, he wiped all of the clan except for this baby girl he took in." NeoMark said.

"So, she's the Azula? Great, another psycho." 61394 hid deeper into the pillow fort.

"So… how old is Reina? And does she affect Danny?" PFN asks.

"Hard to say… she's certainly younger than Jin… so let's give a general estimate and say she's the same age as Asuka." NeoMark said.

"So… she'd be an enemy of Danny or is this another Katnappe thing?" FP11 asks.

"Well… don't get the wrong idea. This wouldn't be a Talia Al Ghul or Catwoman kind of relationship I'd have in mind if this story happened. Reina would probably not be interested in him romantically… more like his genes would produce a child she could use as a weapon/soldier to help make the Mishima Zaibatsu the dominant power. Less Talia for Batman and more Maxima for Superman." NeoMark explained.

"That sounds… disturbing." FP11 said with a shudder.

"So, she'd probably steal his DNA with machines or something rather than get him to cheat on his wife? Yeah, that's pretty messed up." PFN said.

"It's not like Tekken is exempt from artificially created children… without one parent's consent. Considering Danny Phantom featured cloning, it's a bit like that but darker. The irony is the one parent we know of is a bad person but their son created without their knowledge is actually a nice guy. I'm not going to get into more on that… as it's a bit too dark to bring up here." NeoMark said.

"For now. Potentially." BCFW gave a sly grin.

"I see. So… story?" FP11 gestures to the monitor.

"Right." Deadpool said before taking out his phone and typing. "P-R-O-P-A-N-E S-U-C-K-S."

Seconds alter.

"BWWAAAAA!" Hank Hill was heard from miles away.

"Back to the story." NeoMark said.

That night.

Asuka held her darling child in her arms as she sat with one leg over the over on the sofa.

"Mika, kimi no hontōni kawaii. An'ta no utsukushī musume." She whispered sweetly.

"Mama…" Mika happily giggled.

Asuka felt a wave of comfort in her. The child in her arms was a miracle in her life. She, the self-proclaimed gang mediator and Kansai protector when she was a teenager, was now a much calmer person with a happy child in a land she was not born in.

"Asuka?" Danny asks, getting her attention.

"Hmm?" She went, looking up to see him.

"It's about time for Mika to get some sleep." He said. "Thankfully, no trouble is going on in town today. So, it looks like we can call it a night for once."

"Wakatta, kon'ya wa kanojo o nekashitsukete ageru yo." Asuka said as she slowly got up and carried their child to bed.

"Night, Papa…" Mika went.

"Night, Mika." Danny waved to his little girl.

As Asuka went up to their child's room, which was next to theirs, she placed her on the bed.

"Mama? Nemu-rita-kunai." Mika went with a tired look.

"Mika…Nerujikandesu.." Asuka said before planting a kiss on her forehead. "Musume yo, nerujikandesu ka?"

"Hai, Mama.…" Mika went before yawning.

Asuka smiled warmly at this.

"Yoi yume mitene. Oyasumi nasai." She whispered.

"Oyasumi… Mama…" Mika went before closing her eyes.

Asuka nodded as she quietly left the room. Upon returning to the living room, she sat with her husband.

"Danny-kun? Mōikkai yaru?" Asuka asked with fists up.

"And get some more bruising? Not a chance…" Danny said with a laugh.

Asuka sat beside him as she noticed how relaxed and tired he was.

"Anta yowai wa…" She said with an affectionate manner. "Sore ga watashi no itoko no otōsan-gawa no mojidōri no akuma o tomeru no ni yakudatta toki, dare mo monku o iimasendeshita..."

"Right…" Danny let out a breath. "I can't take credit for that…"

"Anata no kenkyo-sa wa kawaīdesu." Asuka smiled.

"Desu ne?" Danny replied with a tilted head. He got his reaction as his wife blushed. "I give props to the guys who really saved the world." Danny said before taking a deep breath. "Although… I take full responsibility to get Lili off your back."

"Sugoi, kimi wa ano baka o sukkari kowagara setashi, kanojo ga kono mama tsudzukeba, kimi no yūrei no tomodachi zen'in ga isseini kanojo o oikakete kurudarou to iu koto mo hakkiri sa seta.-Kun ga sō naru ka dō ka wa wakaranaiga... Demo, kanojo ga boku no jinsei ni shin'nyū shite kuru koto o shinpai shinakute ī no wa hontōni anshinda..." Asuka had her arms behind her, hanging over the sofa as she felt relieved that Lili hadn't intruded on her life for a month.

"Weird how she used to speak solely in English but, after that whole thing with your cousin and all, she started speaking only French. I coulda asked my friend, Marinette, to help me learn… but I don't care for Lili, much less love her, enough to care to learn what she's saying." Danny held his head back as he closed his eyes. "Not like you and how I spent a long time cramming as much Japanese as I could…"

"Ā… anata wa yasashī hitodesu ne." Asuka said with a pleasant smile as she looked up at the ceiling, lost in thought. "Watashi ga motto wakakatta koro wa, anata ga watashi kara nanika o etai to omotte iru to omotte itadeshou... Ima wa anata ga honki de sō omotte iru no ga wakarimasu."

"Yeah… current you is already my wife, after all…" Danny said with a pleasant smile as he took in a deep breath.

"Sōdesu." Asuka still looked up. "Iwanakya ikenai…-kun to sugoshita jinsei wa kureijīdatta… otoko ga yūrei, kaibutsu, eirian, soshite totsuzen arawareta zonbi no mokushiroku to tatakau… demo… kimi o eranda koto ya kimitoisshoni ita koto o kōkaihashiteinai…" She hears a light snooze. "Danny?"

She saw him sound asleep, the relaxation had gotten to him. Now he was sound asleep from the day that took its toll on him.

Ordinarily, she'd give him a piece of her mind, but she also knew that he's dealt with a few villains, some not even his, during the past 12 hours.

She knew this is what she expected to happen when she chose to be involved with him. And yet, she didn't regret it. She's seen him deal with all kinds of dangers. So, all she decided to do was let him have this quick rest. Once it was time for bed, she'll let him know.

Asuka kissed the side of his head as he remained asleep.

"I love you…" She whispered happily as she too dozed off.

"There we go… Asuka Kazama's future." NeoMark said.

"Nicely done." FP11 said.

"Kakkee." BCFW said.

"Aww, that was so cute." PFN said.

"Yeah." Luiz4200 said.

"So Danny and Asuka only have one kid." 61394 figures. "Usually by now, you tell us that Danny and his wife will have a kid of the opposite gender of their first one."

"Awesome… so…" NeoMark stood up and pointed out the door. "Everyone out."

Everyone paused.

"Huh?" FP11 asked, wondering what was happening now.

"This next chapter… well… I'm realizing I can get this done quicker if I limit how many people I have to share. Sorry but… I'm not letting anything stop me from finishing this story before the end of the year. So, for this next one… I'm going to need all of you out. Except for one…" NeoMark points to Luiz4200. "You."

"Me? Really?" Luiz4200 asked in confusion.
