Death Egg

Inside a large ball with a moustache, a mass produced factory filled to the brim with robot parts, oil from Oil Ocean and the remaining polluted water that was from Scrap Brain before Sonic changed the environment with chaos energy.

In Sonic's point of view: Eggman is a master at crafting machinery, which is a shame if he hadn't betrayed G.U.N.

Standing in the main hall, a screen was turned on as it showed Eggman's bald head with a moustache and his glasses shined by the light.

[Hello, Sonic!] Eggman laughs.

"Heh. Eggman, it's you and me." Sonic is ready to fight Eggman in a 1v1 fight.

[Not just you and I, but Mecha Sonic as well! Come on out!] Eggman orders.

Revealing itself is Silver Sonic as its quill buzzsaw is spinning with a single red eye targeting Sonic.

[TARGET LOCK. ELIMINATING SONIC THE HEDGEHOG.]

"Yep. I'd say it's a downgrade compared to Metal. At least he pulled up a fight." Sonic commented on Eggman's next robot Sonic.

"Hmph! You'll be in for a surprise when you face this bad boy! Mecha Sonic, destroy that little brat of a hedgehog!"

[AFFIRMATIVE. DESTROY: SONIC THE HEDGEHOG.] Silver Sonic is ready.

Before Sonic spin dash, Silver Sonic turns itself into a buzzsaw, causing Sonic to jump over and then dodge after Silver Sonic turns around, until Sonic is backhanded to the face as he slides.

Spitting, Sonic raises his fists like a boxer, only for him to dodge the fists and then spin dash towards Silver Sonic's face and then double kick it as it slides and then starts its wheels.

[Cocky little rodent! You think you have won yet!? This is only the beginning of your downfall! Mecha Sonic! Keep going!] Eggman snapped while pointing at the screen.

Before Silver Sonic swings its arm, its single glowing eye is glitching strangely, causing it to shake as it falls to its knee.

"What the?" Sonic gasped.

[Huh!? Mecha Sonic! What are you doing!? Your opponent is right in front of you!] Eggman yelled.

[ERROR… ERR… E… GHGHGHGH!] Silver Sonic's voice has changed which catches Sonic off guard.

"What the heck!?"

[GIGIGIGIGI! HIGAAAAAAAAAAAH! B- BIG BROTHER!] That scream had really caught Sonic off guard, making him gasp out of shock.

"Tania!? Eggman! What did you do to her!?" Sonic snapped after witnessing what's going on.

[Strange? That wasn't supposed to happen. Normally, you'd be breaking the robot to pieces by revealing your sister's face, but hey! It worked!] Eggman cheerfully points out after thinking.

"What worked!?" Sonic dodges as he avoids the fists and buzzsaw while trying not to harm his sister inside a robot hedgehog.

[I mean normally, I used the animals to power my robot at the cost of draining their life force as batteries. But with an anthropomorphic animal, they work really well.]

"You mean Tania will die inside that scrap metal!?" Sonic is horrified by the image of his own sister being dead inside Silver Sonic's body.

[Exactly. You took everything from me. So in exchange, I'll take what's precious to you.] Eggman's tone becomes more sinister as his grin says it all.

"You monster, Eggman!" Sonic growls until he is pushed to the wall, choked by his own sister.

While Silver Sonic raises its arm, one arm is smashed to pieces as it reveals an energy gauntlet that carries an energy Caliburn as the blade is closer to Sonic's head.

"T- Tania… Please, don't do this… I know you're still in there. You're a lot stronger than I thought you are. Seeing you made friends with Tails and Elias… That's great and the sword you used made you look cooler. I was hoping you could play with Nicole on Virtua Fighter since you're both good at this and are champions. Tania… Let's go home together." Sonic raises his hand while still being suffocated by brute strength.

[DOES… NOT… COMPUTE… ER- Bzzt!] "Big… Brother? It hurts…" 'Tania' is finally free as her voice sounds like she is crying.

As Sonic falls to the floor, 'Tania's' glowing eye has become 2 glowing irises, realising that her brother had come all this way to see her again after being separated.

"It's okay, Tania. I'm here." Sonic is showing his old habits again as Nicky, comforting his little sister from all the pain she endured.

"Big brother…"

[Oh for the love of… I should've retracted to using chaos energy like Metal Sonic. Ngh! This isn't over, Sonic!] Eggman turns off the screen after he is defeated again.

"Let's go, sis. Tails and Amy are waiting for us once I deal with Egghead." Sonic smirks while clenching his fist.

'Tania' shakes her head and rubs her eyes, only to cheer herself up and nod with confidence.

"Okay! Let's kick Eggmam's butt together!"

"No, Tania. I'll do this myself. This is personal." Sonic walks forward by leaving Tania to stay.

"Personal? Why? Is it because I'm just a little kid?" 'Tania' wants to know what made her brother a lot different, even though she assumed her brother looked down on her.

"It's just…" Sonic remembers the Chaos Control past after seeing what happened to her a month ago. "Tania. I-"

[While you two are standing around and arguing, allow me to introduce you to my latest and greatest creation, running with chaos energy!] Eggman's voice shouts as loud banging noises come from the wall, leading to Sonic and 'Tania' to stand guard.

Before Eggman smashes through the wall, 'Tania' immediately dives in front of Sonic, only for them to be pushed through another wall and crash into the engine room that is filled to the brim with polluted water, causing Sonic to groan and then see 'Tania' eyes turned off which means she's unconscious.

Sonic's mind flashes back to Tania's bloody defeat by Metal Sonic, causing him to gasp out of shock.

"Ngh… No…" Sonic pushes himself up, as polluted water is on his face and his whole body.

[Welcome to the engine room! With all my preserved items from Scrap Brain and Little Planet, you're finished!] Eggman finally reveals a large robot that looks like him, tearing down the wall as it walks and splashes on the polluted water. "Meet the Death Egg!" Eggman cackles maniacally after revealing his giant robot piloted by himself.

Sonic is now helpless after witnessing rust on his sister's robotic body, causing him to run towards her and pick her up, only for him to realise there's more on half of her body.

"Tania!? Tania!" Sonic yelled out of fear of watching his sister's final moment as Eggman's badnik.

"Oh, dear Nicky, your sister is finally meeting her fate. Her betrayal is going to be her last moment. With rust on her, she'll forever be a robot." Eggman has finally cornered Sonic at his vulnerability after learning from his past mistakes.

Sonic looks up as he glares at the Death Egg Robot, knowing that Tania is suffering worse than their father.

When Eggman mentioned the engine room, Sonic can tell Eggman is opening his weakness once again.

"Eggman, remember when Metal Sonic used chaos energy as a battery?"

"Hm? Why do you ask?" Eggman is confused as his robot leans down.

"You lose again." Sonic widens his smugly grin, approaching the main engine.

"What!? What do you mean!?" Eggman is still confused.

While holding 'Tania's' rusted body in a bridal carry, Sonic stands near the engine with the chaos emeralds on it, causing the alarm to set off in the Death Egg, causing the Death Egg Robot to look left and right.

"What is this!? The system's going haywire!?"

To Eggman's shock, Sonic had the emeralds removed from the machine as they circled around Sonic, making his eyes flashing red as Sonic yelled.

Afterwards, a golden light flashes, releasing raining feathers as if Sonic is truly an angel in his super state.

It's not just Sonic that became Super Sonic, but the robot body is shattering as it reveals an unconscious Tania who is still in a parka hoodie from a month ago.

Now Super Sonic is carrying Tania while glaring at the Death Egg Robot and grin.

"Game over, Eggman!" Super Sonic then vanishes at mach speed as the Death Egg Robot immediately blocks a kick, catching Sonic off guard. "What!?"

"Now we're equal!" Eggman growls and then punches Sonic to the wall and then fires his arm towards the golden furred hedgehog.

Sonic then spin dash as the robot hits the wall, only for it to be pierced through as Sonic swings his fist on a robot's stomach, denting it to the point that it's no longer an egg.

The robot then reverses the damage by making its shape normal and rebuilding its arm, making Sonic grunt and then kicks the head and dive down through the polluted water towards the mass production room.

"Sonic! Don't you even think about running away!" Eggman yells as the Death Egg Robot lands in the mass production room and turns on its torch.

Behind the wall, Super Sonic is carrying Tania while avoiding the mad scientist.

What's new is Sonic's fur is flickering black and then back to gold, causing him to grunt as if the chaos energy is reacting to his negative emotions.

"Ngh… What is this?"

"I found you!" Eggman's sinister tone had Sonic immediately run and fly at mach speed as a stretched arm hits the wall, destroying part of the Death Egg in order to beat Sonic.

With Sonic on the run, the Death Egg Robot is boosting while flying towards Sonic and Tania.

With the Eggman boys firing towards Sonic, it causes an explosion as the Death Egg is going through collateral damage, making Sonic lift up 90 degrees and the Death Egg Robot do the same while still firing towards Sonic.

The alarm is blaring as the Death Egg is spreading its explosions, causing Sonic to chuckle.

"Looks like you lose, Eggman!" Super Sonic pulls his eyelid down and sticks out his tongue while boosting away from Eggman and heading towards the exit.

"This can't be happening! NO! MY DEATH EGG! RGH! SONIC!" Eggman roared as his Death Egg Robot charged towards Sonic with its boosters on full power.

In the end, the explosion has caught Eggman, meaning Sonic and Tania are freed from the large superweapon space station.

Earth, Westside Island, Emerald Town

Watching the sky, the explosions have confirmed that the Death Egg is now done for, making Tails and Amy gasping with joy.

Rosemary smiles as she finally has the kids succeeding as the sacrifice is worth it.

"Everyone! He did it! Sonic has won!" Rosemary called, making the people of Emerald Town gasp and clamour and the animals chattering after seeing what happened to the Death Egg.

"He did!? That means…" Miss Wing is surprised to hear what her former student has done.

"Indeed he did." The fox old man nods after seeing what Sonic has done for others.

"Sonic the Hedgehog is real this whole time!" Patty gasped with excitement.

After that, the whole town cheers, celebrating the victory of Sonic the Hedgehog after destroying the Death Egg.

Tails and Amy hop on the Tornado and put on their goggles, Tails pulls up a thumb to his mother and then flies off with a rebuilt engine, flying towards the golden meteor that's about to hit earth.

Under the blue sky, Super Sonic is embracing Tania while they fall to earth together, even Sonic is glad that it's over.

"Sonic!" Tails called as he and Amy waved.

"Tania!" Amy is excited that Tania is back with Sonic.

"I'm glad she's okay. Let's take her back to my house. I'm sure there's a lot to recap." Said Tails.

"Heh. Yeah." Sonic chuckles while flying next to the Tornado.

"Even better, you got all the chaos emeralds back! And you're more beautiful up close." Amy points out as she admired an angel with them.

"Yeah. That golden fur looks good on you, Sonic." Tails laughed.

Sonic smirks after being admired by his friends, making him turn towards Emerald Town with Tails' Tornado.

Before the trio goes back home with Tania, a beep is heard on a Tornado as it reads ERROR on the screen.

"What the?" Tails is confused.

Amy looks above herself until she sees a large shadow incoming towards them.

"Um, guys, we need to move now!" Amy warned.

After Amy's warning, a large figure dives onto Sonic, separating him from Tania, causing the Tornado to spin as it struggles to fly straight as Tails and Amy scream.

"SONIC!" Tails and Amy yelled.

"If I can't have happiness, then you can't either!" The Death Egg Robot has finally shown itself as it dives onto Sonic, causing him to yell as he reaches his arm.

"No! TANIA!" Sonic tries to get Eggman off of him until his fur flickers black again. "Agh! Eggman!"

"Tails! Get Tania! I'll go after Eggman!" Amy shouted while diving off the Tornado, leaving Tails to chase after a falling yellow furred hedgehog.

While the Tornado is diving, Tails is reaching his arm but is struggling to catch Tania.

"Hold on, Tania!" Tails shouted, knowing the girl he met a month ago is falling towards her death.

Opening her eyes, Tania finds herself back to her normal self until she sees herself falling in the air.

"Eh!? Eh!? Where am I!?" Tania exclaimed and then screamed as she flapped her arms to save herself.

"Tania! Grab on!" Tails is raising his arm to save Tania.

"Miles!? What's going on!? Where's big brother!?" Tania is unable to comprehend what's happening.

"I'll tell you later! Just hurry up!" Tails shouted, even Tania is reaching her arm towards Tails as she wishes to go back and see her friends and family again.

As for Amy, she slams her hammer on the Death Egg Robot's back as Eggman exclaimed, even though Sonic is still being grabbed by a robot.

"Amy!" Sonic yelled.

"Let him go, you big bully!" Amy is grabbing the claws and forcefully pushing them off of Sonic.

"You little pink rat! Unhand me this instant!" Eggman yells as he releases the bombs to hit Amy, leading Amy to hammer the bombs as they explode away from Sonic, Eggman and Amy.

To Eggman's shock, he sees Tails trying to get Tania back, leading him to shoot his arm as it charges through the Tornado's wing, smashing one of the biplane sources of flight as Tails yells.

"Miles!" Tania screams as she's heading towards another island.

"Tania!" Tails has failed to save Sonic's sister as he pulls out a speaker. "Amy! Mom! We got Code: Egg! Eggman is heading towards the Westside Island!"

"WHAT!?" Amy shrieked after hearing what Tails said.

[Are you serious!?] Rosemary yelled out of shock.

"Yeah! Eggman is attacking Sonic! And now the Tornado is taking critical damage!" Tails is pulling the lever while trying to get the Tornado to keep going.

[Then we're leaving.] Rosemary grunts.

"No! I heard Eggman's weapon is made out of chaos energy! Just like Metal Sonic, Eggman is using them as batteries!" Amy shouted.

"You think I would lose to you!? Guess again, Amy!" Eggman finally squeezes Sonic and Amy as the duo are yelling in pain.

"Let them go!" Tails fires his bullets as the robot's arms explode, only for it to reverse rebuild itself unnaturally.

As for Sonic, his golden body flickers black again, causing him to scream while holding his head.

"Sonic!?" Amy exclaimed after seeing Sonic in agonising pain.

"It's the negative energy! If this keeps up, then Sonic will end up as the opposite of Super Sonic!" Tails warned while continuing firing at the Death Egg Robot.

"W- We're gonna crash!" Sonic grunts, only for Tails and Amy to see the island ground, making them shriek.

Even Eggman is yelling, knowing he too will crash down.

In the end, a loud bang has caused the trees to fall as the Tornado and the Death Egg Robot crash landed at an intense moment.
