(Location: East Valley Rehab Center.)

We begin at a courtyard outside as we see a 16 year boy named Robby Keene depressingly eat at a sandwich as his mother Shannon was encouraging him.

"It's gonna be OK, Robby. We'll figure this out. I promise." She told him. "I'll be right back, OK Just keep eating."

No response from Robby came outta his mouth as he ate the sandwich. He was going through a ton of shit.

From being an atypical juvenile thief watching porn and hanging around and scamming people, to a redeemed prodigy learning Miyagi Do under a 2 time all valley champion and being a finalist in the recent all valley tournament.

He even got into a relationship and was living his best life learning karate with fellow students.

But all that changed in moments... Due to one mistake.

Last month, he was in the biggest fight ever in the entire town. The fight at the high school. It was essentially a gang war, only with karate teens. Miyagi Do Karate VS Cobra Kai Karate. All of it over petty teenage drama.

Talk about a literal movie moment.

Robby was fighting to protect his current girlfriend Samantha LaRusso from a blond haired vengeful girl named Tory Nichols after she kissed her boyfriend.

As he tried to defuse the fight. He was sudden tackled by a boy. Miguel Diaz. His rival and the one who kissed Samantha. The two of them fought in last years karate tournament and Miguel fought dirty and won. This sparked hatred between them. This furthered when Sam started dating Robby, and Miguel started dating Tory.

And finally... During that school fight. After tussling for what seemed like hours... Robby's temper boiled to the point of blind rage. He wailed on Miguel after the former showed mercy to him as Robby kept on beating him down.

Eventually... He kicked Miguel off a 2nd floor staircase as the Hispanic boy fell on his back and was in a coma.

After that... Robby fled. He ran like a bitch. All the way to here as he was sitting there contemplating his decision.

All of that combined with his strong hatred for his absentee father Johnny Lawrence and Miguel Diaz... Turned him into an empty shell.

His mother walked over to his karate sensei. Daniel LaRusso. He wanted answers.

"Is he OK?" He asked him.

"He's not right, Daniel." Shannon told him worried. "He's talking like he's gonna leave town. Please, you have to help him."

Daniel nods. "I will. But you gotta trust me here, all right?"

"OK." Was Shannon's simple answer.

"We'll fix this." Daniel reassured her as she left.

Daniel slowly approached the boy as he sat there with his bummed out look.

"Hey." Daniel sighs. "Nice cut."

Robby answered honestly. "Sorry you've been stuck clearing up my mess."

"I'll pay you back for the van. I..." He was cut off.

"I didn't think that van was your style anyway." Daniel chuckles... Then stops and continues his serious talk. "I know it must've been rough on your own out there."

"Is Sam OK?" Robby was concerned.

"She's worried about you." Daniel said as Robby nods slowly. "We all are. Your dad too."

Robby sighed upon hearing that. "Robby, I need to apologize to you."

Robby stopped him. "But I caused all this. I kicked Miguel..."

Daniel sighed as he reassured Robby yet again. "I know you blame yourself, but I let you down."

"What I said to you the last time we saw each other was... terrible." He admitted. "I'm so sorry."

Robby shook his head. "You were right. It's a mistake to help me. I can't change."

"We all make mistakes, Robby. But our mistakes aren't who we are." Daniel told him. "You could learn from your mistakes. And I'll help you with that."

This was true... Daniel made mistakes and Robby made mistakes. He had taught him balance after all the times he screwed up.

He decided to help him. "I will."

But... He had something for Robby.

"Listen... This next part is gonna be really, really hard, OK?" He told him with some nervousness in his voice.

"But this is the best way forward. I spoke to a lawyer and he explained that it's..." It was then... They heard a siren.

As well as the sound of police radio chattering. Robby instantly got outta his seat and stared at the officer approaching him with heightened worries.

"What did you do?" He asked Daniel as he panicked.

"Told them you'd turn yourself in." Daniel also spoke with some worry for Robby. "The sentence will be much lighter."

"No, I can't!" Robby protests strongly as Daniel tries to ease him. "You can. You have to."

Robby then realized... This was a setup. Daniel did this on purpose.

"You kept me talking so I didn't leave." Robby narrows his eyes at him.

"No, I was trying to help you-" Daniel tried to say as Robby bolted for the exit as the cop rushed towards him but Robby managed to just barely avoid getting grabbed as the cop just missed his shirt as he jumped over the fence.

"ROBBY COME BACK!" Daniel shouts as Shannon gasped in horror. The cops turned around and began to hop into their cars and pursue Robby as the teenage boy was sprinting full force on the street.

"WE GOT A RUNNER! WE GOT A RUNNER!" They shout as the cops continue to chase Robby down.

Once he lost them... He decided to u turn away from them. "THIS IS BULLSHIT!" He thought in rage.

Robby cut through the grass in secret to avoid the cops. All while cursing the shit outta Daniel for his snitching. "I can't believe he'd do that!"

He cut the corners as he stared at the forest in the back. He heard the sirens of the police cars as they were following him into the forest. "STOP!"

"Screw this!" Robby sprinted across the lake as he was almost slipping on the rocks. The cops got outta their cars and proceeded on foot. The last thing Robby wanted was for these pigs to catch him in the forest.

He jumped across the rocks as he turned towards the trees. he slipped behind a huge rock and used the timeframe he was hidden to sneak away as he almost fell in the water as the cops heard his footsteps.

"YOUR MAKING THIS HARDER FOR YOURSELF! GET BACK HERE!"

Robby spotted a cave nearby as he jumped across the rocks as the cops were closing in.

He jumped over them as the cops were almost about to follow him when he took a mighty leap onto a tree branch and jumped off into the fallen tree.

He almost slipped as he sped up again.

Robby turned back to find out the cops were about to taze him. "GET DOWN ON THE FLOOR NOW! STOP!"

Robby didn't listen as he sped up. He then found the cave and journeyed inside. The cave was dark, dangerous, and it was starting to feel cramped.

But he managed to squeeze away from the cops as he escaped the taser. "GET OUT FROM THERE NOW!"

Robby then found a pocket that allowed for him to enter a wider space. But he wasn't about to stop.

He slowed his running down as he was now speed walking across the cave as he was using his phone as a light. "Finally..."

He wasn't entirely safe yet as he nervously watched his steps. But...

He stopped when he saw a Shrine... On it... Some sort of puzzle. "What the... Who keeps something like this here anyway?"

The puzzle looked half solved... It was like a rubik's cube.

He started to twist and turn it as he had zero time to waste...

He heard the cops continue to search for him as they crawled into the cave.

"Shit... Did they find a way in...?" He thought. "Of course they did... Their cops!"

The cops noticed the phone light as they shouted. "GET OVER HERE!"

Robby shook his head and kept going... fortunately... He was able to solve it as the doors light up "What is-"

The cops were getting closer and closer as Robby was closer and closer to solving the puzzle.

Upon doing so... The cops were squeezing in and were about to find the teen when a light opened in the cave door to Robby's suprise. "What the..."

The light opened a passage way as Robby took one look at the cops as they were about to shoot a taser at him as they blinked in suprise. "HEY WAIT!"

Robby bolted away from there as he narrowly dodged a taser shot and then entered the passage.

Then...

The cops witnessed it close permanently as they stared at each other in shock.

"Well fuck." One of them uttered.

(Location: UNKNOWN)

Robby opened his eyes as the light was gone. "What the fu-"

He noticed that as he was now in an opening inside another cave.

Still tired from all the running. Robby trudged towards the outside and laid there as he wondered...

Just what the hell happened?

One thing was for sure... Robby escaped the cops. "What was that... Why was their a puzzle there anyway?"

Robby continued to walk around the area, he searched around and found out a small town over there...

"Thank god..." He muttered as he stared at the quiet place over yonder. "Damnit... I need a break."

He checked his phone to call someone but...

"No cell service? Why?" Robby muttered as he fiddled with the phones settings... But alas... No connection to Verizon at all...

Robby shrugged as he popped in his headphones and listened to his downloaded playlist of music. As the teenage boy was walking... A sound of a bike was heard over west.

Their was a girl on a bike cycling by past a hill as she jumped over a hill... She was headed to Littleroot Town.

This was May Maple. 16 Years Old and a resident of the Hoenn Region. She was headed to get her first Pokémon from Professor Birch to start her new journey.

Thing was... She wasn't in it for the mons... No no...

May was mostly interested in the travelling aspect of it all... She thought Pokémon were freaky and didn't really like them all that much.

But wait... What WAS a Pokémon?

What was Hoenn?

Those are questions that are to be answered soon enough.

May continued on the bike path and was about to find her destination... "Lets see... Littleroot Town... Where are- Aha! Over there!" But then...

A strange ghostly Pokémon appeared near them with a skull like face and hollow eyes as it stared May directly in the face. This spooked her as she let out a scream. "AHHHHHH! WAIT WAIT WAI-"

She lost control of her bike and went careening down a hill as she struggled to stay balanced. "ARGHHHHH! STUPID POKEMON!" She screamed as she stared at the bottom of the hill.

Their was a boy about her age there just mindlessly listening to music on his phone while walking in her path. She frantically tries to call out to him. "WATCH OUT! GET OUTTA THE WAY!"

Robby couldn't hear anything May was saying. He was still drowning himself in music. He finally heard the screaming as he turned to see the out of control bike.

"NOOOOOO!"

"OH SHI-"

It was too late. May crashed right into Robby as the two tumbled to the floor as Robby's phone flew outta his hand and into the ground.

Both Teenagers groaned in discomfort as they laid on the floor. May got up and rubbed her sore body. "Ow... I should of worn a helmet..."

Robby stared at the girl. "You aright?"

"I guess... You should of watched where you were going though!" She grumbled as Robby sighed. He was already causing problems again.

"Guess your right... Sorry... I'm just... Tired." Robby admitted.

May stared at him. "Well... I guess its no big deal... At least my bike is fine... Are you alright?"

"Oh I'm peachy." Robby sighed. He stared at where his phone was...

To his major disappointment... It broke. "Son of a bitch..."

"Woah... Sorry about your phone..." May frowned.

"Its fine... Karmic justice at its finest i suppose." Robby picked up his phone and put it in his pocket.

"Well in any case... My name is May. Nice to meet you." She held out her hand.

"Robby. Sorry about the fall." He returned the gesture and shook her hand.

"Say... Were you headed to Littleroot Town too?" May asked. Robby stared at her confused. "Littleroot Town..."

"Well maybe we could head there together." May offered as Robby thought about it. "Well... I'm actually from Rece-" He stared at the land ahead of him... "Da..."

"Receda you said...?" May tilts her head... "What city is that?"

Robby shook his head... "Its in California... That IS where we are..."

May was confused... She had no idea what he was on about. "California... What Town is that? I don't think I've ever heard of it."

Robby stared at her dumbfounded. "You know... California... The Golden State, the 31st State. Of the United States..." May looked more and more confused.

"United States? Never heard of it..." May shrugs. "This is the Hoenn Region."

"Wait a minute... Region? Hoenn?" Robby struggled to comprehend it all... "What are you on about? This is so confusing!"

"Maybe you should come with me... Since you seem lost." May offered. Robby nods lightly.

"That's fine..." He follows May as she was on her bike... "Can you keep up though?" She challenged.

Robby Ran ahead. "Yes!"

May went with him to Littleroot as Robby's new adventure was only just beginning...

(Location: The Sea.)

We turn to a boat that was out on the sea that was headed for the same place that the two teens were headed too. Inside of the boat was a boy.

A boy whose dream was to become the greatest Pokémon master ever. a real go getter. having already participate in the Kanto and Johto leagues.

This was Ash Ketchum. 16 Years Old. Along with his trusty number one companion. His Pikachu.

But at the moment... Pikachu wasn't really 100%... He was more like... 21%

Why was this? It was cause of a machine that was part of a plan by Team Rocket... More on them later. Long story short... Pikachu was ill and was sparking.

"Just try to rest, Pikachu. As soon as we dock, I'm gonna take you right over to the Pokémon Center." Ash reassured his Pokemon as Pikachu was lightly sparking. "Pi...Pika."

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Littleroot Town. Prepare for arrival." The captain calls out as three individuals were looking on past towards Land. Jessie... A Woman with long rosy hair in a uniform. James. A blue haired Man also wearing a uniform, and a catlike pokemon that can talk, called Meowth. This was Team Rocket. Thieves that ALWAYS try stealing Ash's Pikachu due to how special it was... to them anyways.

"Littleroot Town?" James asks as Jessie sighed. "The city whose colors will never change."

"Huh?" James and Meowth turned to her as she was wearing a melancholy expression.

"That's right. Littleroot Town has remained true to its roots. Ah, me, I guess my colors have slowly been changing over the years." Jessie recounts as Meowth was confused. "What do you mean?"

"Jessie, have you been here before?" James was curious.

"Mm-hmm. Is this really all that there is?" Was her answer... Confusing the other two again. "Huh?"

"Following the twerp and trying to catch Pikachu? James, have we ever truly blasted off at the speed of light?" Jessie asks them.

This was outta character behavior for her... At least for James and Meowth...

"Is she speaking hypothetically?" James wondered to the Cat Pokemon... "If dat means wacky, den yes."

"Wobbuffet!" Called a blue squid like pokemon... Wobbuffet. Jessie takes out her Pokéball, recalls Wobbuffet and sighs. James and Meowth also sigh.

As for our hero, they disembark immediately as Ash decided to ask around.

"Excuse me, sir. Could you tell where the Pokémon Center is?" He asked someone there.

"I'm afraid this town doesn't have a Pokémon Center." The people answered as Ash sighed.

Ash looks at Pikachu with worry. "Pikachu... I know!"

Ash quickly heads to the nearest phone and makes a call. "Hello? Is this Professor Birch's laboratory? I'm Ash from Pallet Town. It's an emergency."

Meanwhile, at Professor Birch's lab... A lone scientist answers the phone.

"What? Your Pikachu's ill? That's terrible. Well, unfortunately, Professor Birch is out in the field right now conducting an experiment. Stay put, Ash. I'll try and get in touch with him." He answers.

"Great. Thanks a lot." Ash nods.

The scientist hangs up, while Ash sits down with his ill Pikachu. "It's okay. Everything's gonna be just fine now."

Our hero look out over the ocean with worry as Wingull fly overhead and Ash continues to watch Pikachu.

"Pikachu." He muttered.

Suddenly, an SUV screeches in.

"Are you Ash Ketchum?" The driver asks.

"Yeah! Are you Professor Birch?" The man was indeed him.

"Let me see..." He looked at Pikachu's fleeting position. "Not good. Let's get him to my lab immediately!"

They drove off as Birch looked over the electric mouse pokemon. "I see. Symptoms of electrical discharge."

"What's that mean? What symptom?" Ash asks worryingly

"Pikachu is unable to release his electricity regularly, so he randomly sparks like that. It's a serious problem that sometimes occurs among electric types." Birch states. "Tell me, has Pikachu been exposed to any magnetic fields?"

Ash soon has a flashback to what happened the day before. That was indeed the scenario that happened between him and Team Rocket.

"Yeah, that's it! Pikachu was strapped to a magnet." Ash remembered.

"An electromagnet, probably." Birch realized as Pikachu tries to get loose.

"What is it, Pikachu? What's the matter?" Ash asks its Pokemon as it confused to fidget around and groan in pain.

"The high fever is confusing him." Birch said seriously as Pikachu sparks again. "Pikachu!"

"This is bad. We've got to get it to the lab immediately. Better hold on tight Ash!" Birch drove off course. "Look out!" Ash cried.

"Sorry. We don't have a moment to lose!" Birch told him as he drives right off a ledge and then speeds right down a hill before passing a lake with butterfly-like Pokemon flying over it.

"Pikachu, it won't be long now." Ash told his electric mouse Pokemon as they continued on their way...

- To Be Continued -

(Notes: Thought I'd make this since Cobra Kai's ending in two days. I'm not too familiar with Pokemon. But I used to play both Pokemon Stadium games On N64 and Alpha Sapphire on 3DS during childhood, plus i'm getting into the Game Boy titles now so there's that i guess... Other than that... Hope you all enjoy.)
