Author's Notes: Hi, readers. Here's chapter thirty-three of "Running From Here." I am glad to have finally gotten the Power Rangers and the Jurassic Park survivors off Isla Nublar. It had been a long time in coming, but it was worth it. Ranger action resumes in the next chapter. This crossover has three chapters to go before it is finished. Stay tuned for chapter thirty-four.

Chapter 33: Finally Safe
Alpha pressed buttons on the console beneath the plasma tube in the Command Center's main room. He touched the top of his head. Tommy, Kim, Jason, Trini, Billy, Zack, John, Lex, Tim, Alan, Ellie, and Ian teleported in behind him. They ended up in squatting positions, but they rose to their full heights quickly with the exception of John. The Power Rangers unlatched their helmets and took them off. They put them under their arms. Alpha turned around, laughing in delight.
"Rangers, thank heaven that you and your friends are safe! Ay-yi-yi-yi!" Alpha shouted in relief.
"You must be—" Alan started.
"Yes," Alpha answered with a nod. He clasped his hands together and laughed in a soft way. "I am Alpha 5, Dr. Grant. It is a pleasure to meet you and your fellow Jurassic Park survivors in person."
"Let me guess. You find out about my park when you decided to watch Earth one day," John suggested.
"That did happen, John," Alpha admitted. "This occurred a month before the Power Rangers came to be."
"Wow," Tim whispered in amazement. "Talk about keeping track of things."
Lex went to the console to the left of the Viewing Globe. She placed her hand on the bottom of it. She walked around while sliding it along. She tried to hold back a laugh, but she couldn't help herself. She came to a stop before Alpha.
"This place is incredible. Its technology is nothing I've ever seen," Lex said in much amazement.
"I felt the same way when we first came to the Command Center. I examined Alpha. He was actually rather ticklish," Billy admitted with a smile.
"Billy wasn't the amazing fighter that he is now when he was unmorphed," Kim added.
Ian felt his jaw drop to the floor. "No way."
"It's true. I wasn't a very good fighter unless I was morphed. I had a hard time learning fighting moves, despite Jason, Zack, and Tommy helped me," Billy explained.
"But you kept practicing and got really good at fighting unmorphed," Tommy said, proudness showing in his voice.
Billy chuckled. "That I did, Tommy."
Zack rubbed his chin. "You know what they say. Practice makes perfect."
Alan, Ellie, John, Lex, Tim, and Ian looked toward Zordon, who smiled down at them. They made their way to him. Their hearts began to beat a little faster. Their breathing turned into shudders.
"You must be—" Alan started.
"Yes. I am Zordon," Zordon answered, his voice tinged with warmth. "I am friend and mentor to the Power Rangers."
"I never thought you would—" Tim started with a nervous chuckle.
Zack came to the boy's side. "A floating head? That's exactly what I thought when we first arrived here."
"Zack opened his mouth and put his foot in," Jason added while going to his friend's side.
"His mouth is so big that you could fit Jupiter in it," Tommy joked and snickered under his breath.
Kim rubbed her chin. "Indeed."
Zack gave a shrug while raising an eyebrow. Lex took three steps forward, feeling her heart skip two beats. Zordon focused his attention on her, his smile growing bigger.
"Lex, I want to thank you for successfully getting into the Command Center's computer. Your courage and quick thinking saved everyone from serious injury," Zordon said proudly.
"When Billy went to fight those monsters, I couldn't just stand there. I had to do something. I was determined to get us out of there. Penny and Princess protected us from them. They are Velociraptors," Lex explained.
Zack rubbed the back of his neck. "Who would've thought the fiercest predators would be some of the best protectors?"
"Totally," Billy agreed.
"They got knocked out by Scorpina. I fought hard to hold her off, but she slammed me against the wall. I couldn't stop her from making her way toward the door," Ian added. "Neither could Alan, Ellie, and Billy."
"I hope Penny, Princess, Rexy, and Mia are okay," Ellie said, her voice showing some uncertainty.
"Me too," Alan commented with a nod.
"Alpha, check Isla Nublar for the group's dinosaur friends," Zordon commanded firmly.
Alpha nodded. "Sure thing, Zordon."
Alpha went to the console on the Viewing Globe's right. He pressed a few buttons and looked at his friends. He waved his hand toward himself. The Rangers and survivors approached the Viewing Globe. They saw Penny and Princess making their way through the rainforest. They sighed in much relief. Ian touched his sunglasses.
"Thank God that Penny and Princess are all right. They don't seem to have suffered any ill effects from being knocked out," Ian whispered, blinking twice.
"Indeed," Tim agreed. He stretched his arms above his head. He let out a long yawn and smacked his lips. "I wonder if they will remember us, especially Lex and me."
"I think they will. Their incredible intelligence makes processing of memories much easier," Alan said hopefully.
"Now, let's see Rexy and Mia," Tommy commented and tightened his grip on his helmet.
"Right," Alpha agreed and pressed the same buttons. "Do, do, do."
The Viewing Globe showed Rexy and Mia making their way down the tour road. They emitted soft bellows while swinging their tails from side to side. A Pteranodon flew above them. It flapped its wings twice before landing on the top of a tree. It folded them against its sides. The group tried not to smile, but they couldn't help themselves.
"It is good to know Rexy and Mia are okay too," John said, chuckling softly as he rubbed his nose.
"Unfortunately, it is unlikely we will ever see them again," Lex whispered, a frown forming on her face.
"Grandpa plans to use his resources keep Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna isolated from the outside world," Tim added.
"I understand you are upset, Tim, but it is for the best. Dinosaurs need our absence to survive. They don't need our help. They were able to establish their stable ecosystem so quickly because their instincts never left them. Alan was right. You can't clone them out of an animal," John explained.
"I hate to disrupt the viewing of the dinosaurs, but we have another immediate concern. Alpha, show the group what is happening in Downtown Angel Grove," Zordon commanded.
Alpha pressed the same buttons, causing the Viewing Globe to switch to Downtown Angel Grove. The giant Golder and Tigton formed fireballs in their hands. They threw them at vehicles. The vehicles exploded, sending fire and debris high into the air. Civilians and tourists ducked to avoid both. They ran for their lives. He looked toward the destruction.
"Ay-yi-yi-yi! Goldar and Tigton are causing mayhem in Downtown Angel Grove!" Alpha yelled in a panicky voice.
"Lord Zedd's trapping us on Isla Nublar gave him the perfect opportunity to launch an attack," Jason said, flaring his nostrils.
"It started while Goldar and Tigton were normal-sized. Now, Lord Zedd made them grow like he usually does with each attack!" Alpha cried.
"Those two will destroy the city if we keep standing here," Trini said, her body shaking a bit.
"Then let's get down there, guys," Tommy said and became very determined. "Back to action!"
The Rangers touched their Morphers and teleported out of the Command Center. John, Lex, Tim, Alan, Ellie, and Ian went to Zordon, who blinked three times. Lex clasped her hands together. She twirled her thumbs around before swallowing hard.
"I hope the Power Rangers are able to stop those monsters," Alan said, his voice showing hints of anger. He curled his hand into a fist. "They have caused so much trouble already."
"Try not to worry, Alan. I believe they will not have much of a problem defeating Goldar and Tigton," Zordon assured.
"We must keep the faith," Ian said and placed his hand on his side. He began talking about watching Penny and Princess fight Scorpina and the Putties.
