Coughing Sakura covered her mouth with her hands, her head rested on the pillow as the blanket lay over her. The time spent out in the weather had made her sick, the longer she lay alone the colder she seemed to get. Sakura dozed for hours as the fever grew, waking up in a coughing fit she sat up coughing into her palms, unaware of the eyes watching her closely. Finally the coughing subsided, Sakura lay back down her back to the door. Kisame's eyes were trained on Sakura closely from outside the cell, it had taken him over a day to find her. Pushing a warm blanket through the bars, he sat across from the door watching. The scene before Kisame reminded him vaguely of the first night Itachi spent with him, the boy was soaked on his journey to the base. He had gotten sick, Kisame hadn't been able to sleep with Itachi's uneven breathing. Recalling the tea and soup he had made for Itachi, it had became almost a tradition each time he got sick. It was only a few minutes later Sakura was back to coughing, she settled for what felt like a minute before opening her eyes. Sitting up against the wall, Sakura's eyes fell on Kisame sitting against the opposite wall beyond the cell bars.

"Tea?"

"Did you poison it?"

"No, I didn't poison it"

"Shame"

Kisame set a cup just inside the cell, Sakura crawled slowly over. Sitting in front of the cup, she didn't pick it up for minutes. When she finally did she just cradled it against her chest, breathing in the warm air. Coughing Sakura recalled Itachi's warning about Kisame stabbing people in the back. Covering her mouth, Sakura ended up setting the tea on the ground as she coughed harshly into her hands, Kisame gaze stayed on the kunoichi. With his excellent low light vision Kisame could see the blood covering her hands as she wiped it on the side of the pants she wore before picking up the cup once again. Blowing the top gently, Sakura took a small sip. She wanted to sigh, it tasted amazing. Taking another sip, there was an odd after taste with the tea she once had to mist. The sweet taste at the end, she recalled the fond memory of sitting at a small tea house with her, entire genin team. Aware of the fact Kisame was watching her, Sakura sipped the tea. Yawning as she lay down with the tea at her side, she didn't even bother moving back to where the pillow and blanket was. Kisame could see as her eyes slipped closed, he could hear her soft breathing as she rested on the hard ground. Kisame could hear her quietly thanking him as she dozed off to sleep. Knowing she could die if Kisame put anything in the tea, but right now she didn't care. She was happy to die at the hands of Kisame, unknown to her the tea did contain pain killers to assist her with the fever. Finding her asleep for not even half an hour, she was coughing again.

"Itachi, will be displeased if you aren't taking care of yourself"

Sakura crawled over to her bed as she collapsed on to the soft padding, she wished he would just leave. The idea he was watched her, creeped her out. Opening her eyes Sakura relaxed her grip on the blanket, she couldn't bare to deal with anything at the moment Sakura faced the back wall, her gaze watching it closely, continuously she dozed in between coughing. Itachi spat out blood, his eyes remained covered by white gauze along with a tight rubber band. Leaning back against the chair he could hear the ninja before him. Ibiki's voice he knew but two males with him, they possibly was Naruto. Based on the conversation he could tell they were discussing the ways to retrieve the knowledge from him.

"We need to know Sakura's location"

"Hokage, we will"

"She is important to rebuilding the village"

Itachi tried to swallow the cough to not draw attention to himself, but it seemed it only made it worse as he began coughing letting them all know he was awake.

"Your finally awake, Uchiha"

The unidentified male addressed him loudly, Itachi tried to relax his body as he heard them approaching him. Without warning he was punched in the stomach, coughing up blood, Itachi tried to get air into his lungs as another punch landed.

"You have Sakura Haruno correct?"

Itachi coughed as he tried to speak, he could feel the pain in his chest. Unsure of what was coming next he waited for the next blow, when it didn't come he decided to test the bonds that held his wrists behind him.

"Where is Sakura?"

"Safe"

Ibiki punched Itachi once again in the stomach, causing him to cough violently. Itachi's throat was sore, his nose stuffy as he sat before them. His mind wondered if he was sick, the pain he could deal with but he felt awful all over. Naruto just stared at the man before him, he had no choice but to wait. Itachi at this point could of taken and hidden Sakura anywhere, it had been over a week since she was taken, heartbroken when he had thought she had died, this hope that was growing inside him to find her. Rescue her from Itachi's hold, at least she was safe if they had Itachi but for how long. Naruto stood beside Ibiki he had thoughts of Sakura being dead, the thoughts filled his head when she hadn't returned from the battlefield, moving closer to the Uchiha he reminded him so much of Sasuke. The man before him stood between finding Sakura, he intended to let Ibiki to do anything to get the information from him. Naruto needed to bring her home safety, he had already spoke to Kakashi and they both where in agreement. They could lose another person close to them, especially if they could save her. Ibiki slapped Itachi to bring his focus back to him, uncertain of the man before him Ibiki didn't know if he wanted to interrogate the Uchiha.

"I will not tell you anything"

Ibiki believed the words out of his mouth, especially in this moment. The Uchiha was very strong willed, they would of killed him, the traitor he is the village it was too risky too keep him. But the possibility to return Sakura Haruno to the village outweighed the consequences and lives lost if she didn't. Leaving Itachi chained up in the chair, Ibiki wouldn't put anyone at risk moving Itachi from one place to another. Leaving the room Ibiki collected all the belongings Itachi had been carrying, taking a seat at his desk he went through everything. Tossing the weapons to the side, his hand brushed against the rough spine of a book. Pulling it free of the tub, Ibiki opened it, flicking through the pages his gaze moved to the file that lay discarded on his desk. The file Itachi had been after, he had seen enough to know there was more than he knew. Did he want to look further into this? Opening the book, to the first page, he began reading. It was late in the day so there wouldn't be many interruptions. Ibiki sighed as he made his way through the first couple of pages, he set the book down not sure how to deal with the situation. He didn't want to torture Itachi if he was truely in line with the village. Returning his attention to the book, he kept reading. Most of it was just missions, endless missions that he had completed within the Akatsuki, the assassins and the supplies. The information that he had retrieved about the Leaf Village, Ibiki couldn't believe Itachi had recorded all this within the pages of this book. Reaching the final pages Ibiki couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was all about Sakura, the Uchiha did indeed have her or had her at the very least. Ibiki was loyal to the village, everything he did was for the benefit of the village, slamming his fist down into the desk, he wanted to talk to Itachi. Sending the guards off on a break, Ibiki entered the interrogation room. It appeared Itachi had been resting until Ibiki had barged in and flicked on the lights. Itachi stayed in place, he could feel his muscles protesting as he sat before Ibiki. They were alone it was very late at night, Ibiki hadn't left his desk since he started on that book of Itachi's.

"It is just you and me here, Itachi"

Ibiki leant against the wall, eyeing the Uchiha, his limited movements. Ibiki could see his chest barely raising as he breathed in, the shakiness wasn't just from the punches Ibiki had dealt him, there was something else.

"I have your book"

Feeling his heart sink, Itachi couldn't recall everything in that book. He tried to think about the notes of Sakura he had left in the back.

"This is all information for the village?"

Itachi nodded, Ibiki wanted to know if he was loyal to Leaf after all these years, but Itachi seemed to reluctant to talk to him. Until seeing the notes, Ibiki had been doubting that Itachi had the kunoichi, there was no use of her. The notes had thankfully cleared things up for him, it had exposed the reason behind taking Sakura. Nestled in the notes, there had been a sketch of Sakura asleep curled up in a bed. Ibiki wondered if that meant Itachi had taken advantage of the kunoichi. Based on the notes, he made an assumption he hadn't. The detailed notes that Itachi had created, detailing everything from how much she slept to how much she was eating. Knowing the affect captivity had on a ninja, Ibiki could piece together she would probably be starting to have her judgement affected. Concerns for her well being, especially if Itachi was here and she wasn't. Was someone else watching over her, was she locked somewhere, was she nearby out into the bush. But Ibiki needed to know for sure.

"Have you taken advantage of Sakura?"

Itachi flinched at the words, was Ibiki really asking if he had touched the kunoichi inappropriately.

"No"

"Your noted implied as much"

So Ibiki had read his book, the notes of Sakura were all at the back of the book, in a place he could remove if required before giving it over to the village when the time was right, turns out he didn't need to worry about getting it to the village, they had it now.

"Sakura…"

Itachi stopped himself, he didn't know if Ibiki could be trusted. He had been loyal to the village for many years, but Itachi had been away a long time was their still factions within the village which worked towards different interests. If this had been any other time he would of just stayed quiet and watched this work itself out, but Sakura was a problem. She was alone in the cell with very limited supplies, he hadn't hold Kisame where to find her and he had said she would be fine but now she needed to return to her. The chair moved as Itachi felt latches releasing the chair from the ground, Ibiki leant the chair back staring at Itachi there was something so wrong with the way he had written those notes.

"Having regrets Itachi"

Inwardly Itachi wanted to scream, he could feel himself tilted back in the chair. A moment of falling before the back of chair fit the floor and his head smacked into the concrete. Reminding himself to not do that to Sakura again, it made his head spin.

"You kill her the moment I am killed"

Itachi could feel his sharingan activated beneath his blindfold, his head hurting from the pressure of the rubber band. A swift kick to his ribs, Itachi groaned. He attempted to turn away but the straps kept him firmly in place against the chair. Arms trapped beneath him in the most uncomfortable position. Itachi couldn't help but think how he was supposed to be back at the Akatsuki base by now, instead here he was, hours travel from there.

"She needs me to return"

Itachi's words had been more of mumbled mess, he didn't even realise as he just lay there not able to do anything else.
