A/N: Uncle and Aunt Gardiner are older than Mr.. And Mrs. Bennet and they have twin daughters, Millie and Sallie Mae between Lizzy and Charlotte's age say 24 and 3 unnamed boys younger than the girls.
Moxxie is French (Monsieur Inpatronyme (I hope it's French for no last name) aka Monty escaped the revolution after some imprisonment when he was an adolescent so he's like 29 as of 1812) and married Mrs. Bennet's niece Millie Gardner last year. I should show not tell but I'm brain dumping.

If you need a French Burbon
And you cannot wait long
Write the Prideful Spirits a letter long
We will strive to get it fast
But do try to make it last
Write the Prideful Spirits a letter long
Well, Elitza Benøt never claimed to be a poet, but a woman of cleverness and business sense she was. Monty had been unable to criticize her butchery of the art as he was currently undercover, making their first excursion to the Continent. He had left a month ago and written to Millie of his safe arrival in France, but the letter had been long in arriving but based on when he had dated it, he would soon be back in London with a fair supply of the above mentioned Bourbon.
Millie had traveled from London to Hertfordshire to share the news in person, as she did not wish to put their operation at risk of discovery should her correspondence to her younger cousin Litz fall into the wrong hands. Privacy was scarce at Longbourne. As was quiet. Anything generally talked of in that house would soon be all about the local town of Meriton. She was right to be cautious, as no one could keep Mrs. Stella Benøt from crowing over each of her successes, and bemoaning all of her nerves caused by the failures of those around her.
They would need to sell their stollen contraband of fine French liquor quickly, but Litz was not going to let that stop them from finding a buyer, or buyers, whose wallets would make this perilous and costly venture worthwhile. Hence the poem. She was still unsure of how to circulate it, along with enough information for potential clients to successfully contact them, but without being so obvious as to lead the authorities to them.
The three of them had been working together nearly two years and had grown from a common private coaching company that specialized in the transport of English wine the first year to knowingly transporting gin that had not been properly taxed the next but found that there was many such enterprising individuals competing for these jobs. An over-saturated market and increasing costs to obtain gin from the underground had made their profits dwindle.
Then there was the embarrassing business of her two business partners eloping to blessed Gretna Green to deal with. Once M had come back to Britain and their senses, Litz presented her newest plan to prosper. Of course, Moxxie had expressed his reluctance to become true smugglers many times in the ensuing months. But his new wife had thrown her support and enthusiasm behind the venture so he was merely whining to hear his own voice. Whether or not his concerns had found many holes in Litz's original scheme that would have jeopardized the whole operation, well… he was good for something at least.
