Izuku finished packing for his intended trip to get better in being a hero in his future.
He then felt a pair of arms wrapped around his body. The boy turned to see his mom giving him a warm and tight hug
"Hi mom" Izuku smiled rubbing his hand on her arm to calm the mother down "I see you are still worrying for me after what happened at the mall"
"Yes I am" Inko whimpered "even though you remind that it is an expected situation" her hold tightened "I just can't stop myself from controlling it"
Knowing that she won't let go, he grunted trying to turn his body and hugged his mother back
"I know it's asking too much for you to try on keeping faith in me" he said rubbing her back slowly "but after what happened to dad, I don't want other people to suffer similar ways" he lifted her tear-stained face and rubbed the wet cheeks slowly "and besides I promised you after handling the bad situations I would come home and enjoy our time together"
Inko looked at her boy with tears still falling from her face, but she is a bit calmer now
"Well" she sniffled a bit "since you are done packing for your camping trip, why don't you have a meal with me" a small smile formed on her face "I made your favorite"
"Katsudon?" Izuku guessed getting a nod "then let's go to the table and have a nice meal together"
After eating lunch together, Inko and Izuku cleaned up their plates until they heard a doorbell
"Did you expect someone today?"
"No Izuku, not this time"
The boy decided to get the door and saw that it was his uncle making a surprise visit to him
"Hey Izuku" Mark greeted "I decided to drop by in my rest from hero patrol"
"Glad to see you out of the costume uncle" Izuku smiled warmly "come in, I wanted to talk about the training trip coming soon"
"I'm glad that you are preparing for that nephew" the man chuckled "just be sure to check again so you won't add unnecessary things"
After a bit of time passed Mark remembered something upon his visit to Izuku
"I just remembered something important" he pulled out an envelope "you're prize from the Sports Festival nephew"
The boy blinked and opened revealing an invitation to...
"I-Island!?" he gasped "the place where the famous hero supporter David Shield created and lived in!"
"The very same" Mark nodded "and if you're asking. No, I didn't know him" a smile formed "All Might decided to introduce me and I was got an invitation from him to visit from time to time in my early years as a hero"
This revelation was too much for the boy and he did the only action available to avoid a headache in a later time
He fainted
Mark blinked at what he had done "oops" he scratched his head "I revealed too much again"
"You did have that problem sometimes" Inko lightly glared at her brother-in-law "first was to me when you revealed that you are pro-hero, and did it again when you revealed that you depend on your Quirk in said profession"
"Yeah, yeah" he rolled his eyes recalling those moments "I should've been cautious, but since you are Hisashi's girlfriend when we met...I trust you with those surprises"
That caused her to giggle and slap him playfully "oh you"
The two carried Izuku to his room and placed him gently on bed so he can relax after learning, they decided to stay by the door and talk about how Izuku will handle his visit to I-island where heroes from different countries will gather
"Do you think he will faint upon seeing that much heroes in one place?" Inko questioned
"Not likely" Mark shook his head "I made sure that he would stay awake upon seeing a pro up close" before chuckling a bit "at best, he would just stammer at seeing so many heroes"
While the adults are talking about that scenario...Izuku woke up with a groan after being told that his uncle was friends with the famous hero supporter, David Shield!
"I can't believe that you are associated with that guy uncle..."
"Someone we should know little boy?" Goemon spoke
"You were carried by your family to be on bed Izuku" Himiko followed "out cold for nearly 30 minutes"
"Sorry" he apologized "I was just told about a famous inventor from the USA named David Shield"
"Please tell us" Robin Hood hummed
"He sounds interesting if your uncle knows him" Benkei added "you did say he was All Might's shadow"
"Yeah" Edison agreed "and please, don't skip details about him if you can"
So the boy explained the famous hero supporter to his eyecons and felt number of emotions to the man: interest, curiosity, awe and shock
"I can't believe that he was the one who helped your predecessor become the famous hero he is today" Ryoma spoke
"No joke" Musashi hummed "that man sure knows how to help All Might move forward"
"Not to mention that he has quite the drive to helping the world with his genius" Newton chuckled "I would like to meet him myself"
"He made a name for himself by helping the number one hero personally" Billy commented
"I'm glad that you guys like the guy" Izuku smiled "he still has things to do and wished to keep helping All Might"
"Although, there something worrying me" Beethoven interjected "to be this famous, he would likely be a target by villains and anyone would feel inferior to David"
"I wouldn't worry so much" the boy shook his head "with heroes in I-island, I doubt they would be that daring"
"Alright" the musician relented "but just be aware how the villains were able to get under people's skin"
"Yes" he nodded "they will do anything to fight the world"
The day passed on without much trouble and the trio spend it together feeling nostalgic since they still feel a small part of them missing Hisashi Midoriya from his sudden passing
Izuku was back in his room and his eyecons were quiet for now, he still held the envelope from his uncle Mark
'I was so busy with my internship in Hosu, that I didn't bother if there are additional things with my medal from the Sports Festival...'
He then pulled out his phone and texted Katsuki to meet each other tomorrow
'I'm sure Katsuki wouldn't mind having this invitation' he thought 'he did declare on taking the top spot'
With his text sent, Izuku placed the envelope and phone on the table before going to sleep
'He did say take the top spot' he thought 'I'm sure he'd want to see the heroes from other countries'
The next morning Izuku went to make a quick breakfast for himself and left a not on the table that he'll be out for a while
The soul student went to the park where he tried to save someone when he was still a kid
'I can't believe how far back it was when I declared my dream to be a hero' he recalled the loss form Katsuki and his minions 'I wonder if those 3 ever got the chance to become heroes like Katsuki'
His thoughts stopped when foot steps behind him. Izuku turned to see Katsuki with his usual frown
"Alright Deku, what's this about?" the blonde explosive questioned
"Oh good you're here, I wanted to give you something" he presented the envelope given to him from his uncle "it's my reward after getting first place in the Sports Festival"
Katsuki took the item and opened it before his eyes went wide "I-Island?" he looked at his classmate "are you sure about this?"
"If you read the letter more, it also said about bringing a guest" Izuku responded "and I have no idea who to bring with me"
"But how will you get to that place?" Katsuki raised a brow at him "I mean, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity Deku"
"You do know my uncle is a pro-hero right?" the green haired student returned "with him being a teacher in UA, I'm sure he would give me his spot to go there" and scratched his head "with him living in Japan now...he still hasn't gotten used to staying still"
Katsuki just stared at him before shaking his head "you know Deku, if it was still the old me. I'd shout at you for giving up such an opportunity"
"I'm just glad our interaction from the final exams helped you tolerate other people better" Izuku chuckled "otherwise you'd just be screaming for the rest of your life"
"You don't have to tell me twice" the blonde explosive shuddered "I'll end up being ignored in the near future if I stayed like that"
"Anyway, I'll see you at I-Island" Izuku smiled warmly
"Same here" Katsuki returned with a gentle smile
If anyone who knew the two back in their younger years, they'd be flabbergasted on how they tolerate each other now
A few days have passed. Toshinori and Izuku were riding a jet to I-island and the boy looked out the window to see said destination
"I can't believe that I-Island is close now" the boy smiled
"Yes young Midoriya" the scarecrow nodded "we may meet the great inventor today if we are lucky"
'I wonder what will be in this island?' Izuku blinked when the plane started it's descent 'will it contain things that can help heroes in their work'
Once the two walked into the island in their hero costumes
"Oh wow" Deku Ghost blinked at what he's seeing "there's a lot of people here..."
"David Shield hasn't stopped making improvements after helping me" All Might acknowledged
Just then the crowd spotted the two heroes and swarmed them without second thought
The number one hero of the world was so surprised that he didn't quickly to stop the swarm while his successor was caught off guard that he ended up being pressed against bodies as they tried to reach the famous hero first
After getting out of the squabble, All Might's face was covered in lipstick marks while Deku Ghost panted on facing such big crowd, his costume slightly stretched from the hands grabbing him
"That was an unexpected" the number one hero of the world removed the markings off his face
"No kidding..." Deku Ghost patted his chest "I didn't think that being a hero is this big"
"It's a good thing Necrom gave you his invitation" All Might patted his successor's shoulder "you only got attention recently and more of that will come as you go"
As the two heroes finished fixing themselves they heard a voice from a distance
"Uncle Might...!"
They turned to the voice to see a beautiful foreign girl on a red pogo stick jumping toward them
Just when she got close All Might grabbed her and twirled in happiness
"It's good to finally see you Melissa!" he said happily "you've grown so much since I last met you!"
"I've been busy learning under papa uncle" the now named Melissa giggled "he's making sure to show capability on support tech after I was told another way to help the world"
Deku Ghost blinked at the closeness the two have 'is she David's protege...?'
His thoughts stopped when Melissa saw him
"Oh, who is with you uncle Might?"
"This is my student Deku Ghost" the pro hero responded "he's actually a fill in for Necrom this trip"
"Ah yes" Melissa nodded "it's surprising that he would live in Japan recently" and giggled "he made himself known as a travelling hero after all"
The three of them decided to take the train to the nearest lab tower in the island so Deku Ghost can at least see glimpses of the wondrous island
'I can't wait to get that tour!' the soul hero thought giddily 'this place is so interesting...!'
The number one hero was greeted his personal supporter with his natural enthusiasm, the two talked for a bit before David decided to give his daughter the responsibility of giving a tour to the young hero in training and telling his partner, Samuel Abraham, to get a break to prepare the big event later tonight
After the three left the room, All Might changed into his weakened state feeling his injuries again
"All Might" David kneeled to his friend in worry "are you going to be okay?"
"I will be after some rest" Toshinori coughed a bit of blood "I just need to relax right now"
'I know you've done a lot to help the world' the supporter grimaced at his friend's physical state 'I just hope tonight won't be messy for you'
Melissa and Deku Ghost walked side by side making small talk
"So Melissa" the soul hero started "what got you into being an inventor?"
"Well believe it or not" the girl smiled "I'm quirkless"
The two talked about her progress after All Might visited her papa when she was little and to see him praise his father's inventions after stopping a natural disaster in front of her eyes. She was inspired to help the world by following her parent's profession
"Wow" he blinked 'you've at least taken your unfairness better than me, no discrimination, no pain. Just an alternate path to be helpful'
The young supporter then pointed to a building nearby and explained it was a display building of I-Island's upcoming inventions
While that happened, a handful of people walked through the entrance looking casual before one of them pulled out his phone
"Hey, it's me" he spoke "we're in the island"
"Good" the caller responded "I trust that you know what to do after entering?"
"Yes sir" the leader of the group nodded "we will make sure to execute the plan in the designated time"
"Great" the caller acknowledged "just don't gloat often when you het upper hand okay?"
"Got it" and the call ended as he and his group prepare themselves on their plan in I-Island
But what he didn't realize that the caller, Dark, was at I-Island in his civilian persona; Paul E. Nowagata
'Let's see how well you handle yourself Wolfram' he thought 'my little brother complained a lot about Deku Ghost when I visited him. How well can you handle All Might's successor?'
He then heard foot steps behind him. Paul turned to see his bodyguard walking toward him
The person was a foreign male Mexican with an athletic yet slim build, tanned skin, his eyes are covered by his sunglasses and had black hair in a buzz cut. He wore a red suit with a rose pattern on the left side of his jacket giving him a somewhat flamboyant appearance to contrast his stoic expression
"Ah Robert" Paul smiled "I take it you have finished scouting...?"
"Yes master Dark"
The man's mouth was quickly covered by Paul as the disguised villain looked around to see anybody nearby
"Remember new recruit" he whispered "we're civilians, we shouldn't say our villain names out loud"
Robert nodded his making his boss let go
"Apologies sir" the bodyguard bowed a bit "I am still learning how blunt I am after you recruited me"
"It's okay" Paul waved his hand "remember, we are here to see how Wolfram and his group handle this plan" he reminded "we cannot interfere, after that I will report this to our leader in the League of Villains"
"Yes sir" the bodyguard nodded
"Good" the villain in hiding clapped his hands "let's relax a bit until Wolfram and his group execute the plan they were hired for"
"Of course"
When the two started walking. Paul pulled out an eyecon with a violet case
'Since Deku Ghost will likely be facing Wolfram in this situation' he thought 'can you be convinced enough to take his side..." he looked at the eyecon 'Nobunaga?'
Melissa continued her touring of the island with Deku Ghost who wished to see the wondrous inventions I-Island displayed, she even showed her new friend some quick demonstrations with them
"It sure is amazing that you've helped with making these Melissa" Deku Ghost smiled "I'm surprised that you are just 17 years old"
"Well I'm surprised that you are related to Necrom" she returned "I never thought Uncle Might's shadow would give you his invitation"
"I see you hadn't heard the news about Stain, the hero killer" he chuckled "after arresting him in public, he said that by going here I should handle being with the more known heroes who handle the attention"
Melissa smiled at her friend's answer "I can see why Necrom allowed you to take his place. You may just be a hero in training...but you are really fun to be with"
Deku Ghost felt slightly bashful at her words ad scratched his head "oh am I being too casual? If you want, we can act like professionals for a bit"
That only get Melissa to laugh a bit
"You seem to be having fun Deku" a familiar voice spoke behind the two
They turned to see the soul student's classmate looking at them nonchalantly
"Uravity!" he jumped a bit "what are you doing here?"
"You seem to be having fun Deku" the gravity girl repeated
"Didn't you just say that?" Deku Ghost blinked
"Ahem" another familiar voice spoke
The soul student turned again to see his other female classmates; Creati and Earphone Jack
"I never thought you'd be so forward with a girl Deku" the creation girl blushed slightly seeing him act like a chad in her eyes
'Don't jump to conclusions Creati!' the soul student panicked
"I'm surprised you got close to her after just meeting each other" the other girl twiddle her earphone jacks
'Seriously!?' he scratched his head frantically 'spying on me with your quirk?!'
Deku Ghost quickly corrected his classmates jumpy conclusions that the girl he befriended is actually his tour guide for the island
The group was now in a cafe with the girls enjoying their personal talk while Deku Ghost was sitting in a table next to them
"I'm glad that situation didn't escalate" he whispered "otherwise I'd be in big trouble when I get back home..."
The soul student saw drink placed on his table and he looked up to see another pair of familiar faces
"Kaminari? Mineta!?"
"Hey there Deku" the electric student greeted "hope your enjoying the visit?"
"And if you're wondering" the little perv looked confident "we actually volunteered ourselves to some extra curricular activities, just trying to earn some cash for ourselves"
Uravity was confused by that
Earphone Jack is suspicious of them
Creati was worried they might do something else
While Melissa just blinked
The two pervs grabbed their classmate and made private talk for a bit
"Hey Deku" the blonde zapper whispered "who's the hot new girl there?"
"Guys..."
"C'mon tell us!" the little perv continued "we'll just introduce ourselves to her"
"Guys...!"
The two pervs continued to press on their friend for Melissa's name wanting to look cool
Said person whispered to her female friends "are those two part of your class?"
The two idiots jumped in front the young genius in a pose
"Why yes we are" Denki answered
"We're actually trying alternate methods to be better heroes"
Before the two can continue... a loud, and familiar, voice shouted!
"Why are you two slacking off!" a person started being seen "you said that you are earning money by working right?!"
Denki and Minoru screamed to see Ingenium ran toward them before stopping making the two fall down
Said student explained that his family was famous in the hero career so it was an expected moment to get an invitation. But with most of being busy, and his brother still recovering...he was the only one available
Creati then explained she had some extra pluses in her invitation due to her parents sharing stock with the island's expo, so in a game of chance; Uravity and Earphone Jack are with her
While Mina, Tsuyu and Toru had to wait until the public opening of said expo of I-Island...
Before anymore words are exchanged an explosion was heard followed by a strong rumble. The group, minus the two perverts, went to the source to see a mountain structure with smoke rising up in different points the screen showed the smoke thinning to reveal another familiar face standing at the highest point with wide grin
"Red Riot!" Deku Ghost shouted in surprise
"Is he someone you know?" Melissa questioned
"He's another classmate in our group" he responded 'if he's here, then-!'
"Congratulations on completing your run Red Riot! Your time is 33 seconds" the announcer called "next competitor, please take your position"
Dynamight readied himself
"Go!"
The blonde explosive launched himself from target to target with his quirk and finished the last one without flinching
"Time is 15 seconds!"
Dynamight smirked at his record believing he won't be beat but then heard from the crowd stating the name Deku Ghost. He immediately went up to the audience balcony and saw his rival stepping back a bit
"So Deku you're here" the blonde explosive spoke calmly surprising his other classmates "I can't believe you were able to come here after gifting me your reward"
'Reward...?' the 1-A group thought
"Yeah" he nodded "since you got the shortest time... wanna see if that stays there?"
Dynamight grinned at being challenged and nodded in response surprising the other students again!
Deku Ghost was at the starting position and the announcer was about to start the clock but halted when he stopped the announcer
"Let me transform first before you start"
'Transform...?' a few blinked
The soul student revealed his belt Ore eyecon and without delay he... transformed
Kaigan! Ore! Let's go! Kakugo! Go-go-go-ghost!
After seeing the change Melissa was in awe at seeing at seeing a quirk like that. The girl shook herself when go was heard from the announcer
Deku Ghost had green lightning course through his body as he blitzed to each target as fast he could before getting the last one
"16 seconds folks! Looks like Dynamight is still in the lead!"
"That was great Deku!" Uravity jumped in joy
"It was like seeing your final exams all over again" Ingenium nodded
Before any more praises were given a giant ice structure appeared covering half of the field!
"Unbelievable folks! A new record has been made!" the announcer called "14 seconds...!"
With the competitor revealed to be Dual himself!
Dynamight didn't take it well and insisted to try again scaring the announcer when he wasn't getting that chance
Ingenium and Red Riot jumped into stop the blonde explosive's rage from growing much to the embarrassment of the 1-A girls
"I take it he was always seen as a winner" Melissa guessed
"He's still new to losing" Deku Ghost shook his head "it's going to be a real while for him to accept that"
Inside one of the cargo deliveries the small group knocked out and tied up the guards patrolling there with the leader answering another call while his fellows went down to the steel crate that was shipped in
"All Might is here?" the leader repeated "it doesn't matter...the plan moves forward, I'll make sure to get the objective done tonight" he stated ending the call "that man be busy handling the guests anyway, he won't be a threat"
While everything happened normally. David was scanning Toshinori's body injury with his tech and saw how severe it was in his lifetime
Even though the supporter was distraught about this... the scarecrow assured that it will be alright since this visit is a celebration, so him changing form won't be a problem
That didn't ease much on David's worries since the symbol of peace is fading away and the world may fall into a chaotic state without the number one hero
The sun started to set with Minoru and Denki exhausted from their volunteer work
"We made it to the end..." the little perv groaned "and worked ourselves ragged too"
"I can't believe it's just simple work" the electric leaned on the door "how do heroes handle their chaos out there?"
The two looked ahead to Melissa with their classmates walking toward them
"Looks like you two kept your word about working here" Creati smiled
"And you didn't chicken out when it got harder in time" Earphone Jack followed
"And for finishing your volunteer work in this island" Ingenium presented them tickets for the expo tonight
"Consider it your special payment" Melissa giggled
The two cried tears of joys feeling very thankful for this
Everyone agreed to meet up at the tower's lobby and travel to the event room together
Night arrived and the boys reached the expo building first. Denki and Minoru still had their servant attire since the colors looked formal, Tenya, Izuku and Shouto were waiting as Eijiro and Katsuki stepped through the doors in their formal suits
Ochaco entered first looking a little more peppy then usual
Momo entered next with a shy Kyoka behind her as the latter wasn't really ready to look nice for the event they will go to
The two pervs made surprising comments at how the rocker looked so nice resulting in getting hurt by said girl
'You two really need to stop...' the soul student looked at the situation at hand 'otherwise you may get held back for being inconsiderate'
Finally Melissa arrived looking very dolled up much to Denki and Minoru's delight making Kyoka sigh at their antics
In another floor of the tower Wolfram and his elites made sure to knock out the security guards and made sure they won't be distracting
"Alright guys let's make sure this goes well" the villain stated before putting on his metal mask "otherwise Dark will kill us on failure"
"Sir!" his elites and minions affirmed themselves to the plan
In the event floor All Might made his greeting and speech to David Shield, the investors, assistants and the foreign heroes that are invited to the island
But then the screens in the room blared in alarm catching them by surprise
And suddenly the heroes in the room were put in restraints scaring the guests. The heroes tried to break free but couldn't
And came in Wolfram with his entourage of villains into the room
"Alright this little get together is now over" the villain called "you're now under our control" he then looked at the struggling heroes "don't bother breaking free from those, we took control of security in this island" he grinned "so you have nothing against us other than listen to stay alive"
While the investors and guests were worried at the villains take over David tried to talk reason but was silenced Swordkil used his quirk to silence
"And you're going to follow our instructions exactly"
"Dave!" All Might tried to move again but can't break free
"It's no use number one hero" Wolfram sneered pushing the man down "you're in no position to oppose" he turned to his fellows take him to his lab "take our target, I'm sure he'd give a trade for everyone's lives here"
David looked disheartened at this but can't fight right now 'I'm sorry, I have to do this...!'
While the heroes stayed bound and helpless and rest submitting to Wolfram's demand. The villain took David away leaving All Might on the floor trying hard to stay in his muscular state for the time being, he may have transformed before entering the event floor...but he worries that it might have gotten shorter than last time he changed
The group were just walking in the long hallway until they heard the giant doors close around them
"What the hell...!?" seeing the metal doors shut
"That's not good..." Denki frowned while Minoru shivered in fear
Eijiro frowned at the room not liking this one bit
"What's happening?" Momo looked at the locked doors
"It's the towers security system" Melissa called "something must've happened at the event!"
Izuku's eyes widen realizing that All Might and the other heroes there will be in a tough problem right now. He quickly called for them to move fast reasoning the villains might be after David Shield
Speaking off, David and his partner Sam were escorted to the control room where Hacker was keeping on things as Swordkil needed to switch so he can keep the hostages in check before
"Alright you two take them to the item and everything will be done"
"Sir" a couple nodded and took the two scientists to said place
"How's surveillance Hacker?"
"Not good" the guy responded "apparently there was a group of heroes that got late for the party and is now trying to stop our plan from going smoothly"
Wolfram received word from the control room and was surprised at what he heard
"What? A group of heroes?" he repeated before looking to his henchmen "Nobu, Daigo go stop them, Hacker will give you the location"
Said villains walked out the room as the leader stayed making sure to wait until the two reach the lab
Paul and Robert heard the conversation from the villain
"Sir, do you think?" the Mexican whispered
"It is..." he whispered back 'and now it begins...' a thin smile formed 'will you win or lose in this battle Wolfram?'
On the 80th botany floor the group reached for the next pathway to the control room but saw the elevator going to them
"Uh-oh" Minoru gulped
"Quick, hide!" Tenya called
The elevator doors opened with Nobu and Daigo looking around the area
"Looks empty here"
"Don't kid yourself, they could be hiding right now"
'Great' they thought 'we won't pass them once they find us'
Katsuki on the other hand grinned at this opportunity
"Hey" he whispered to the group "I'll stay here and fight them"
"Are you mad!?" Minoru whispered loudly
"Hey, you said we need to get there fast" the blonde explosive retort "you want the villains to win or not?"
Not denying that argument, Eijiro and Shouto stayed with their loud classmate to face off against the two villains while the rest decided to find an alternate way upward
They went back to the hallway and Izuku found one
"I see a vent on the ceiling" he called "does that lead upward?"
"Yes" Melissa responded "it would lead up to the maintenance floor, meaning there will be a ladder long enough to reach this floor"
Momo used her quirk to open the vent and there is only one person who could climb up fast enough
"Oh no!" Minoru stepped back "you're not making me go up there!"
"You're the only one of us who can go up there" Denki grasped the little perv's shoulder
"You have to do it Mineta" Ochaco and Kyoka pressed
Minoru still refused to do it out of fear and denies putting his life on the line
The others are about to push him to do it but stopped when Izuku stepped in
"Mineta" he looked at his classmate "you want to be a hero right?"
The little perv was caught off guard by the question "...yes?"
"I know it's scary that you're going to do this, but if you don't then the villains will be more active when they find out about this and you will not feel safe anywhere"
That immediately made Minoru convinced, he may have a selfish wish in his hero career, but he wouldn't want the world to become a wasteland...!
Without wasting another second he used his quirk and started climbing to the maintenance room
"That was surprisingly good convincing Midoriya" Denki blinked
"I'm actually impressed you got Mineta to cooperate!" Tenya commented doing his usual arm chops
Ochaco smiled that her friend convinced the little perv to be brave and act like a true hero for once with Momo feeling the same
Kyoki blinked owlishly at what she just saw 'did Necrom use you as practice for his teaching career...?'
The ladder was then dropped into their floor prompting the group to climb they reached the maintenance floor without problem and saw Mineta smiling at his own accomplishment
"Thank you so much" Melissa smiled "you sure are brave"
The little perv gaped that a foreign beauty praised but luckily kept himself together
'Don't get distracted Minoru...' he shook his head 'enjoy the praise after the villains are defeated!'
Back in the control room Swordkil felt a bit worried that the group was making so much progress on thwarting their plan
"So the heroes kept pushing forward" Wolfram hummed "do whatever you can to stop them, keep an eye on David and his assistant. Report to me when our target has fulfilled his objective"
The pro heroes frowned at the man's nonchalance, but they felt hopeful that whoever was still out there is help to free them and stop this situation from getting worse
All Might can pretty much guess one of them is his successor
'Young Midoriya' he thought 'I hope you are capable of keeping up... this is going to put a lot of lives at stake if the villains succeed tonight'
Paul smirked at how the heroes are catching up with Wolfram's plan 'looks like I'm seeing why my little brother said that little ghost is a headache, he's making a big risk on stopping you from getting that item'
The group ran again hoping they are not far behind from whatever the villains have planned in this tower
They reached the 130th laboratory floor and saw the room is riddled with security bots
A plan was made to use Denki's quirk and short circuit them while Momo will keep the rest safe from the electric shock
Sadly however the robots have a defense protocol for that leaving the electric boy overcharged and is now incapable of functioning for the moment
Causing Izuku to take action fast and used One For All to punch the air releasing a quick, and heavy, gust of wind sending the machines in different directions but it also hurt his arm a bit due to the backlash effect
"Good job Midoriya!" Tenya smiled and carried him Denki "and your arm didn't break too badly either"
They ran through the server room only to be swarmed in by more security bots
Tenya, Denki, Minoru, Kyoka and Momo stayed behind to keep them busy making Ochaco, Deku and Melissa run ahead
"I see" Wolfram lightly pushed his minion aside to walk toward the door "I'll go to David and Sam to the storage room and get the package" he said "do what you can to keep them away from there"
Paul couldn't stop himself from smiling but kept looking at the floor so he doesn't rouse suspicion
"Sir?" Robert whispered
"It's almost time for the battle between Wolfram and whoever is stopping him" he whispered back "prepare yourself when the building quakes later" before chuckling a bit 'how will this turn out for you Wolfram...?'
Ochaco used her gravity quirk to negate the fall on Izuku and Melissa since the control is a long jump away from their location
The young genius held onto the soul student as he activated full cowling, with one jump they went to the tower where the control room is. He punched the wall but stayed afloat before the gravity girl deactivated her control letting them down to the floor
David and Sam were in the storage room with the former typing on the computer to unlock one specific item that was locked away
When it is finally unlocked, the assistant reached for the suitcase and opened it
"Good news David" Sam smiled "the quirk amplification device is still in good condition!"
The inventor looked at his invention
"I see you finally got the item you two are looking for" Wolfram walked into the room
While that happened Swordkil came in, he attacked Izuku and Melissa with his quirk without hesitation
The soul student pushed his friend away while dodging the sword arm before delivering a kick to villains sending him flying to a wall knocking the guy out
He grabbed Melissa and ran up the stairs hoping to reach the control room...
But they stumbled upon Wolfram with Dave and Sam holding a suitcase
"Papa...?" she spoke as she walked in slowly feeling so confused right now
"Melissa..." the man looked at her daughter with insecurity
The girl asked again what's going on. David explained that during All Might's rise as number one hero of the world, he made an invention that could amplify one's quirk exponentially. But such a device was deemed dangerous to the world and anyone who heard it reasoned that it will cause an unstable shift making the world go into chaos
But Sam stayed by him and persisted on creating the device however the government caught wind of it and personally visited them to say that it should be locked away, because such an invention is dangerous to even be displayed in public.
So with a heavy heart, David had to lock it himself in the storage room. As the years went by he noticed the hero helped, All Might, become the greatest hero of the world get weaker... so he staged this whole operation to get the device out have the symbol of peace regain his strength
Melissa became upset on the answer she called out her father that if it really was a stage to get that thing why was everyone in I-Island put under such duress?
Izuku on the other hand was suspicious about this...even though he understood on David wanting to help his hero. This whole escapade seems too convincing to be staged
'Who was in charge of hiring these guys...?'
Suddenly he was wrapped by metal and slammed against the wall. Now immobile in the moment making Melissa run to the boy in worry
'Damn it!' he glared at Wolfram 'I was too focused on who escalated this, forgetting that there was still a villain the room!'
Sam suddenly took the case and ran toward Wolfram. David called out to his partner why he's pushing forward with the act when they got the item. The man revealed he hired real villains to get the quirk amplification device shocking the others, he reasoned all the work and sacrifice into making the invention had to be be compensated; if the government refuses it then perhaps the villains could make use of it!
David saw how distraught his friend was when the effort they made together was pushed away by the world, he didn't realize that his partner was more devastated from the refusal that day
But before the exchange was finished, Wolfram pointed his at Sam and shot him!
"You really think it was that easy appease a villain?" he sneered "we even betray our clients in the deal" and pointed his gun at him again "you wanted compensation? You got it like traitor would"
Another gunshot was made, but David took the bullet instead
"David?" Sam looked at him in shock and disbelief "...why?"
"Run...!" was his grunted reply
"Papa!" Melissa cried out running to her father in tears
But Wolfram pistol whipped her sending the young genius flying back
"Look at that David" the villain stomped on the man's wound making him flinch "all this work and your world is falling apart" and continued again a few more times "your friends are captured, your partner is a traitor and now your daughter is hurt!" he started to gloat "you're no longer the great genius helping the world... you're someone who doomed it!"
David, Sam and Melissa were helpless at the villain's words as claimed his victory tonight
But the room suddenly felt heavy, they forgot there was another person with them. They turned to Izuku who activated his soul quirk and full cowling as he phased through his metal bindings glaring hard at the villain
"You're a such stupid man..." he spoke "you do not gloat in the middle of a mission!"
He jumped forward to deliver a punch, only to dent a metal wall that rose from the ground before more of them were made widening the defense
'Melissa!' his voice echoed in the girl's head surprising her 'go...!' he pressed 'save them!'
With new determination she stood up and ran to the door
"Stop her!" Wolfram shouted
Hacker started going to the young genius but stopped when the soul student phased through the metal wall!
"You're not getting her!" he growled
Danger Sense activated and he dodged a metal pillar
"Damn brat!" the villain growled
Melissa reached the control and restored control of the tech in I-Island stopping the security bots and freeing the pro-heroes from their bound state making short work of the hostage takers that remained in the event room
All Might rose to his feet and breathed a bit to keep focus on staying in his muscled form
'I'll save you Dave...!'
"I should've stopped myself earlier" Wolfram used his quirk to grab the metal suitcase along with binding David Shield's arms and legs "Hacker, start the helicopter...we're leaving"
"What about the others?"
"There's no time now" he replied carrying the item plus the inventor "that girl took the island back, we'll get captured if we stay any longer"
"Right"
Izuku panted feeling his body getting tired thanks to continuous use of Full Cowling in one day 'at least I didn't fall down after using so much' he summoned his belt and held the Ore eyecon again "I'll stop you Wolfram and get David Shield out of your clutches...!"
His eyecon glowed red changing itself into the Boost variant
"And this is a good start"
Ippatsu toucon Eye!
"Henshin!"
Toucon kaigan! Boost! Ore ga boost! Furuitatsu ghost! Go! Fight! Go! Fight! Go...fight!
Izuku can feel himself reenergized while Sam, despite his injury and guilt, was in awe of the young hero before him
Deku Ghost looked at the injured traitor and felt his soul was in regret 'poor man, just wanting be recognized as a somebody like David Shield...'
The young hero kneeled before the man and used his soul quirk to lessen the injury on his shoulder
Sam blinked at the merciful gesture and looked at him in confusion
"I know you did wrong tonight, but it's not your fault" he said "the world is full challenges and disappointments. However if you don't take action to the things happening now... the villains will use this incident as an excuse to get more people to their side!"
Deku Ghost activated Full Cowling and went for the rooftop of the tower leaving a stunned assistant behind
Melissa watched the soul hero's act of mercy and quickly pulled out her phone to inform her honorary of her father's location
Wolfram frowned at his folly tonight, but he did his objective...so it wasn't a complete loss to him
"Hey!" Deku Ghost shouted from the door "you're not leaving this place!"
"Damn brat..." Wolfram growled tossing the suitcase to Hacker "take that into the helicopter, I'll deal with the kid"
'Full Cowling: 40%!' Deku Ghost's body unleashed more green lightning around his body
Metal whips appeared to attack but they got dented away by the soul student as he moved in close. But he jumped back when a metal wall rose up blocking his path forward
'If that's how you want it' he pulled back both his arms and punched the wall causing to rupture and crack creating a dent big enough for him to go through
"Stupid kid!" the villain growled again creating another metal whip grabbing the injured and bound David before throwing him into the helicopter "I'm not leaving empty handed...!" and pulled out his gun to shoot
Deku Ghost tilted his head narrowly dodging the bullet before stomping the ground causing the manipulated metal switch directions making an opening toward Wolfram 'you'll pay for ruining tonight's event!'
He jumped forward and punched the villain right in the jaw breaking the metal mask he wore before the big guy was sent flying backward
Right into the helicopter with David and the quirk amplification device inside!
"Sir...!" Hacker and the pilot shouted in worry
"I'm fine" Wolfram grunted rubbing his face a bit "fly us out!"
Deku Ghost saw the helicopter rise into the air. He was about to jump up but his body faltered again and fell on his knees
'A fine time to get the after effect!' he panicked 'I was so close...!'
Melissa ran into the area and looked at the soul hero in worry, all she got was a finger pointed at the flying vehicle in the sky
'Papa...!' tears welled up in her eyes that fearing she may not see him ever again
"Fear not young ones...!" the tower shook a bit to reveal the number on hero of the world making his dramatic entrance "I...am here!"
"All Might...!" Hacker and the pilot screamed
'Great, just what I needed...' Wolfram frowned at the biggest obstacle of his mission
In one swoop All Might dove into the helicopter making the vehicle sway out of control with the hero carrying David and landed back on the rooftop
Melissa and Deku Ghost smiled that David is okay
"I see you lot have made this night safe" a voice called from the door
They turned to see a relieved but still injured Samuel Abraham walk toward them slowly
But before anything can be exchanged, the started rumbling again and metal suddenly started forming into giant whip-like pillars and cubes
And then it was revealed to be Wolfram doing that while wearing the quirk amplification device…!
"I can't believe I didn't where this thing sooner!" he laughed out loud "I feel like nothing can stop me!"
The metals around the area started combining with the villain as if the metals are part of his very being
"Time to get rid of the problems that got me like this!"
The metal around them started to move like projectiles, Deku Ghost grabbed Melissa and Sam and jumped away from the heavy objects the villain used
All Might went for the attack but had to dodge a lot of the debris coming at him
David was not so lucky...the injury he still carried made him an easy pick for Wolfram and imprisoned him with his newly empowered quirk and trapped him under the metal pillar the villain is using to look intimidating
"David/papa!" the two cried in shock that the villain still has a trick to use
All Might got close but was tied up in place and Wolfram grinned like a madman
"Nice try hero" the now crazier villain "but you are nothing before me...!"
To make matters worse Deku's classmates just arrived to the scene and the metal debris in the sky started attacking them
'Okay plan time' he placed the assistant and young genius in a safe spot 'I know using my Boost coat is a good choice' he looked at the metal shifting itself again with the villain's body growing bigger 'but the after effect with the Full Cowling earlier has already made me on my last leg now...!'
He started walking back to the battlefield 'I. Need. More. POWER!'
"You really are going into death's embrace if you keep acting like that" A new voice spoke catching his attention "still going to stake your life after hearing that...?"
"Yes..." the soul hero's resolve refused to be hindered "I took this path to show the world that there are more things to do than get famous or acquire fortune...it is to prove my worth that I can be more than just a living being; I will present my belief on changing the stagnant view of society!"
The voice was silent at first, but then it laughed!
Rather loudly at that...
Everything halted and all eyes in the area looked at Deku Ghost and whoever got his
"Who is laughing at time like this?!" Denki, Minoru and Kyoka screeched still hearing said laughter in the middle of a dangerous battle
"I can't see anything" Momo looked at the broken tower "perhaps Deku Ghost's quirk activated again"
"What spirit got his attention this time?" Eijiro hummed
'Deku' Ochaco and Katsuki narrowed their eyes 'you better win!'
Shouto stayed quiet feeling curious
"It's been quite a long time that I felt entertained" the voice sighed "I bestow you my power. My name is Nobunaga"
'As in Nobunaga Oda? The first unifier of Japan!?' he used his soul quirk to summon the soul as a parka coat
Nobunaga appeared as a violet coat with yellow highlights, a cape and scarf life sleeves. He flew toward the boy turning into an eyecon
"Now go forth...and claim your victory!" was the demon king's encouraging statement
"I won't lose!" Deku Ghost shouted exchanging his Boost with the new one he had
Kaigan! Nobunaga! Our existence, Okehazama!
Deku Ghost new parka coat made him stand out a bit, similar to Himiko's coat, but more fierce than regal
The young hero waved his arm to create an energy rifle and aimed it at Wolfram!
"You think that little thing is going to stop me?!" the villain waved his free arm to move some metal cubes to block Deku Ghost's path "you can't dent my metals with it...!"
But he was proven wrong upon hearing a gunshot and the bullet from it pierced through his barriers, and one of the binding cables on All Might, hitting his shoulder!
"GAH!" the villain screamed despite having big muscles on his body "what the-!?"
He didn't get another word out when another bullet got his left cheek!
It was All Might needed to break one arm free and struck the villain's face loosening the hero's bound state and jumped back to the rooftop to catch a small breather
'I have to admit this' Nobunaga hummed 'you adapted to my knowledge of rifles pretty well'
'I'll introduce you to another shooter in my list of souls I collected' he replied 'but for now, I have a villain to defeat'
'Right' the demon king acknowledge 'make sure to he regrets underestimating you'
Deku Ghost ran to his predecessor and the two of them ran toward Wolfram. And the villain, in his anger and fear, used everything he has to get the heroes coming at him!
The two ran, jumped, and broke the metals Wolfram was using in his reach
"Damn you two... Just die already!" the villain shouted now feeling afraid
Deku Ghost reached for the lever on his belt
Dai-kaigan! Nobunaga omega drive!
The soul hero gathered energy on his right arm with All Might rearing his left arm
The two moved at the same time delivering a force that could rival earthquakes!
"Detroit Smash!" the number one hero called as his and his successor's fists struck Wolfram's metal covered body
The villain felt pain beyond belief and broke the metal he gathered crashing into the ground alongside his remaining lackeys with the quirk amplification device now destroyed from overuse on the battle tonight
With the danger prevented All Might went to his supporter friend and used the ruined suit as a makeshift sling to cover his partly injured body
"Toshi" David grunted feeling a bit bad on staging such a plan "I'm sorry this happened, I just wanted to help keep the spark you made bright"
"It's alright Dave" the now half muscled hero chuckled "I'll be okay, I still have it with me for a bit longer"
The two then turned to the youths that saved them tonight as they celebrated the defeat of Wolfram and his group from the hostage takeover
"They will be the next spark that will help the world" Toshinori spoke
"Yeah..." the hero supporter nodded "a future set in the making"
"I see you two didn't break apart in all this" Sam's voice echoed as he walked toward the two
"Sam!" David waved his free arm frantically "this isn't what it looks like...!"
"David it's okay" the assistant waved his arms "I'm bound to find out your friend's secret anyway" before sighing sadly "after what happened tonight... I plan on turning myself in"
That surprised the two and looked at the man curiously. The man reasoned that his eyes were opened when Deku Ghost gave mercy after revealing himself as a traitor. And seeing his actions nearly cost I-Island...prison seems to be the best option
"Sam" the hero supporter called "before you actually do that, why don't you talk to the boy about it...?"
"Right" he nodded "that young hero did spare my life after I revealed my darkness back in the storage room" his eyes held a bit of resolve "I'll let him decide my fate after bringing real villains in I-Island"
Speaking of Izuku, he removed his armor and looked at his newest eyecon
'Thank you lord Nobunaga' he talked to the demon king 'without you, Wolfram would have destroyed this island with his boosted power'
'No problem' Nobunaga responded 'just remember your promise on introducing me to that other soul you mentioned'
'I will' he nodded 'you will like meeting Billy the kid'
He looked around to see most of his classmates cheering on him for a job well done on defeating the mad villain with boosted quirk effect
Even Katsuki and Shouto have smiles on their faces, they had trouble fighting the guy's metal weapons earlier
"Good job on stopping that villain Izuku" Melissa Shield smiled "I thought I was going to lose papa right then and there"
"It's good thing my classmates are here, otherwise we'd have trouble stopping this incident from spreading"
The two shared quick laugh and looked at the sunrise
"A future will be made by the next generation" the soul student recalled his uncle's words when he decided to be a teacher in UA "I didn't think those words hold so much weight until now"
"Yes, Necrom does give surprising knowledge sometimes" the young genius hummed "it still baffles me that someone else was able to create that gauntlet he carried in his hero career"
Before any more words were made, Izuku's body jerked a bit before falling on his knees again scaring Melissa a bit
"Izuku!" she shouted in worry
"I'm fine, just exhausted now" was his reply "I fought that villain twice in one night, I'd like some sleep after that"
And he promptly passed for using more energy than intended
"Deku/Midoriya!" the other1-A students shouted seeing their friend collapse so suddenly
"It's okay you guys!" the young genius shouted to them "He's just tired from the big fight earlier!"
That got sighs of relief that their was going to be okay getting a much deserved rest
Author's Notes:
Another chapter done and before I start season 3, I wanted to do the two heroes movie after watching it again (I felt sad Melissa Shield is only a one-shot character, but considering the author was focused on Japan and it's heroes there...I can understand that foreigners getting cameos and minor roles)
Not to mention I decided to give Dark a cameo here (after being recruited AFO, the anti-villain worked on properly disguising himself since he stayed sane after the quirk compatibility experiment) as a civilian to see his little brother's headache work as a hero
Also I added another villain working under Dark (you have to admit for someone who evades capture from the authorities, there is a possibility he will need help to keep evading them) and this one takes the role of Dark Ghost's Necrom minion (hence the bodyguard job)
Not to mention that I want to apologize that I didn't update this before new year came but I really liked this movie and didn't want to ruin it with the changes I made. It showed me the number one hero, All Might, had someone helping him become the symbol of peace throughout the world
Anyway, after this there will be an aftermath since the ending of the movie showed the island all fixed up (I want to add in something since Deku's personality is more responsive to people) before going into the training camp arc
Hope you enjoyed this movie chapter after such a long, very long wait
