I-Island was now again safe as Wolfram and his group are being escorted out of the island and into police custody
Paul and Robert saw them in police custody as they a pushed forward
"Hey Paul" the bodyguard looked to his boss "are they going to Tartarus prison?"
"They are" the business contractor nodded "but it would take them a few days to reach that island prison" he narrowed his eyes at the weakened villain and his defeated group "we will get them before they get there"
"Yes sir" Robert nodded and whispered to his boss closely "I am eager to see you in battle"
"Trust me Robert" he whispered "you'll love it..."
In a special hospital room Izuku was lying on a bed still sleeping from his battle against Wolfram last night
The guest with him are Melissa and the 1-A students who helped him against the villain and his group
"Izuku sure is amazing" the young genius smiled as she saw her friend looked peaceful
"Deku sure is" Ochaco nodded looking at her classmate
"I can't believe that he fought another villain in his young life" Denki crossed his arms
"No joke" Minoru shook his head "first Stain from Hosu, now this..."
"Midoriya isn't letting up" Kyoka fiddled with her earphone jacks "he's somehow getting ahead of us"
"It does beg the question" Momo hummed looking at her sleeping classmate "did Necrom somehow got the idea of teaching from visiting his nephew?"
Shouto looked at his sleeping classmate 'I don't know why, but I get the feeling you will be a hero no one can ignore...' his eyes narrowed a bit 'and whatever that will be, I hope you can handle it'
Eijiro nudged Katsuki's side "you ever thought that Midoriya's new soul is some kind of coincidence Bakugo?"
"Don't bother hard head" the blonde explosive looked at the eyecon on the side table "that quirk of his makes anyone dizzy"
"Indeed" Tenya adjusted his glasses "had Midoriya not summoned a new spirit to stop Wolfram, we would not be feeling happy that fight"
While the group of teens wait for their friend to wake up. In a different room, Toshinori was checking on his friend with Sam as both support on the recovery and a reminder of the incident last night
"I can't believe that night just opened my eyes Toshi" the hero supporter looked at his friend "the future has quite the path to make"
"It also took me some time to realize it Dave" the scarecrow chuckled "you just rest up now, Sam and I will go check on young Midoriya"
The assistant nodded quietly 'that boy is the only one to judge me now...' he thought 'I'd still have to be punished for letting villains enter I-Island last night'
The two left David to rest for a moment to finally have a moment on what happened last night
"So Sam..." Toshinori looked at the assistant "how did you feel when I am not the same strong hero like before?"
"Surprisingly" he gazed at the weakened number one hero of the world "I'm okay with it"
"You are?" the scarecrow blinked "that is a surprise..."
"Believe it or not, it was only a matter of time before the symbol of peace will lose his strength" Sam sighed "you never stopped working yourself in the hero path and whatever injury you have costed your ability to keep going"
Memories of the battle with All For One resurfaced, but Toshinori kept himself calm not wanting to make the awkward situation any more troubling
"Let's hope that young Midoriya is awake by now" the scarecrow reminded "you still have your problem to address"
"Yes" the assistant nodded "I won't run..."
And true to Toshinori's guess, Izuku woke up seeing his friends gathered around him with Melissa, Ochaco and Momo hugging the still tired boy in relief
Minoru and Denki seethed at their classmate's luck with women but won't jump him since he did stop Wolfram from rampaging last night
'You deserve this Midoriya' they thought with gritting teeth 'you saved all of us that night'
Eijiro and Katsuki stayed idle knowing that he made quite a leap in stopping the villain
Kyoka blinked owlishly at how her classmate was trying to assure the three girls that he was fine and just needed the rest
'If I was a regular girl Midoriya, I'd be dumbfounded at your feats' she thought seeing her friends calm down now 'otherwise I'd end up worrying for your health too'
"Are you sure you're okay Deku?" Ochaco blinked
"You really got us worried when you fell down Midoriya" the creation girl added
"I'll keep telling you that I was just tired after stopping Wolfram from his rampage" the soul student smiled "It would be really bad if All Might didn't arrive" he shuddered "I'd possibly go into a coma just to stop him by myself"
The boy's mouth was suddenly covered by Melissa as her face showed deep worry toward him
"Don't say that!" she shouted "we're worried enough for you already!"
Izuku pulled the hand away "sorry, sorry..." he looked at the young genius, Ochaco and Momo "I guess my uncle's blunt personality is rubbing on me"
"Yes it is" Melissa nodded "I was surprised he did that when uncle Might first introduced him to us" and giggled a bit "I couldn't forget papa's stuttering when that hero's gauntlet was explained to him"
Conversation stopped when the door opened revealing Sam and Toshinori walking in
"Sam!" the young genius was on her feet "you're...looking different than before"
"It's not much Melissa" the assistant responded "why don't you and your friends get something to eat after keeping the current hero company most of the time?"
"Wait, who's the man with you sir?" Tenya spoke
"I'm Toshinori Yagi" the scarecrow answered "I'm All Might's manager, and with the recent incident...the number one hero would need some privacy for the moment"
The group was reluctant on leaving the room but hearing a few stomach growls they relented and need that belly filled up right now
Izuku is now alone with Sam and Toshinori on the incident with Wolfram
"Alright, let's get this out of the way" the assistant sighed "with the revelation of bringing in real villains to I-Island" he looked at the boy seriously "what is to be my punishment for nearly ruining the lives of everyone here...?"
The soul student blinked at what he heard "are...you sure that you want me to judge you on this?"
"You did stop Wolfram alongside All Might when he wore the quirk amplification device" Sam reiterated "and you did influence me into taking responsibility on my mistake that night"
The assistant then bowed onto his hands and knees with his forehead touching the ground "please..." he said with an absolute tone "between you and All Might, you must at least have something to get me for my misdeed"
Izuku looked at the assistant on the floor waiting for his punishment to be given, he can tell that Sam is really trying to show how sorry he was from hiring Wolfram and his goons to I-Island
He looked at Toshinori and saw the man stay quiet since this isn't going to budge. With everything that has happened he literally is the only one to judge Sam now...
"Alright Mr. Abraham, I will give you the punishment" Izuku stood up from his bed and walked toward the assistant "you...will continue to help David Shield on his projects later"
That...that surprised the two as they looked at the soul student in disbelief
"I know it isn't really a punishment to you, but considering that you were desperate for compensation when you decided to give the invention to Wolfram that night" he kneeled "I know you wanted to fix that mistake when David took the bullet for you"
"I...I...!" Sam couldn't fathom the chance he was given now but felt a hand on his shoulder making him look at the boy's warm eyes
"Even though it was the biggest mistake of your life, it doesn't mean you should be imprisoned" he reasoned "you will only feel the guilt grow if you stay in a cage. But by helping the man you betrayed, that guilt will lessen because you want to fix that mistake"
The assistant felt tears well up at seeing the future hero in front of him, he bowed to the floor again and cried his heart out saying the two words he kept inside himself since feeling the guilt in him from betraying the man he helped with that personal invention
"I'm...sorry..." his body quivered feeling the sadness finally get out of his system
Izuku kneeled to the assistant and placed a hand on him as he continued to cry his heart out
'You have a strong potential to become a symbol young Midoriya' Toshinori thought 'whatever it is...I'm sure the world won't forget it'
As the trio worked out what to do now Melissa decided to visit her dad privately since last night still needed to be addressed
"Papa" the young genius looked at her father "are you going to be okay now?"
"I will be" the hero supporter grasped his daughter's hand "I was just scared that the hero I supported will go away"
"Don't worry papa" Melissa squeezed his hand "uncle Might is still doing his work, despite the limit he now carries"
"Yes" he then remembered the young hero his friend brought in "I think I should talk about your future after what happened last night"
"My future?" she blinked
"Do you like being with your new friends sweetie?" he smiled making her stiff
After Sam let out his tears, the assistant sighed feeling a bit better from his mistake by hiring real villains on getting the quirk amplification device
"At least now you can start working on your redemption Mr. Abraham" Izuku smiled "I'm sure Mr. Shield would need help on fixing the island after the incident"
"Yes" the assistant nodded "I'll talk to David about this"
Toshinori escorted Sam out to get a breather and he looked at his successor one last time
'You will be a hero that can help the world'
Izuku was now alone in the room as he sat back down on his bed after delivering his supposed punishment to Sam
"That went well at least"
"Are you sure that the man should be given such mercy?" Nobunaga spoke from the side table "he did betray the hero supporter after all..."
"True, but he also regretted it when David Shield saved him from getting killed" he reasoned "meaning there is a chance to make it right and earn the trust he broke off that night"
The demon king laughed a bit "you truly are interesting, but remember...you promised to introduce me to a soul using firearms"
"Oh right" he blinked "I can have you talk to him now while I sort out my thoughts for the moment"
"That is much appreciated"
The soul student summoned Billy the kid and have him talk to Nobunaga about the firearms they had in their lifetimes while he just lied down again thinking on how to tell his relatives about
'Those two are going to give me an earful when I tell them...'
His mom, Inko, would cry a waterfall since danger somehow keeps coming
His uncle, Mark, on the other hand... well he can feel the head chop from his muttering as a kid
'At least it won't be too bad' he smiled 'I did promise to stay alive after all...I just hope the trouble doesn't come so often' and then shook his head 'that's all I can hope for...'
The door opened again making Izuku turn to see David and Melissa Shield walk in with the latter holding a food tray
"I see that the future hero is feeling better" the hero supporter smiled "my daughter brought you food since you are stuck here after saving people from Wolfram"
"I'm just glad the problem is solved" the soul student smiled "no villain will come back here after that failed attempt"
"But just in case... I'll work on inventing some more security programs as a hidden emergency" the hero supporter hummed
The young genius placed the tray down and looked at the eyecons move a bit
"Izuku, did you use your quirk on these things?" she questioned
"Oh right, I haven't told you how my quirk yet" he chuckled "get a chair and sit down. This explanation could surprise you"
"This should be interesting" David hummed as he and his daughter got their seats feeling very curious
The 1-A group walked into the hallway back to see their resting classmate
"I can't believe that Midoriya was able to keep up with All Might" Mina said after hearing about the incident last night
"I can't believe that he and All Might worked together" Tsuyu croaked "it's almost like those two are alike in some way"
"Whatever" Denki shrugged "I'm jealous that he got to fight with the number one hero"
"I'm just glad Midoriya handled his battles fine" Minoru shivered at recalling his objective that night "I wasn't ready at all..."
"It's pretty manly though" Eijiro smiled "defeating a villain with All Might beside you...it's almost like a dream you know?"
"Yes it is" Tenya nodded "to fight beside your personal hero is quite something to behold"
"Yeah" Toru nodded "can we speed this along? I want to see if Midoriya is okay after his rest"
"Sure" Kyoka nodded "we have to know how fine he is after staying in bed all morning"
The group ran ahead leaving Katsuki and Shouto behind
"You feel jealous Bakugo...?" the dual element student asked
"Yeah" the blonde explosive nodded "can't believe that Deku keeps getting of us somehow" he looked at his classmate "let's not bring this up halves, we don't want our teacher to make harder challenges soon"
"Sure" Shouto nodded "let's just relax now"
They reached the door to see a surprising sight before them
David and Melissa Shield happily talking to Edison and Newton, in physical state, while Izuku was in bed eating the food that was delivered earlier with the ither eyecons he collected with him
But upon seeing his classmates he gasped making the two physical ghosts change into eyecons again as he lied back down
"We were just enjoying the conversation" Melissa pouted
"Apparently your new friend got surprised when friends came back" David chuckled seeing the people at the door
Speaking of, the soul student groaned on his bed feeling exhausted at using his quirk for something like this
"Deku!" Ochaco ran to her friend "are you okay!?"
"I'm fine" Izuku answered "just tired again"
"Yes" Tenya walked to him "care to explain that?"
"Mr. Shield and Melissa are curious about my soul quirk" he looked at the mentioned duo "they got so curious about it and asked me for a demonstration"
"Resulting in your exhaustion when we stepped in" Momo finalized "are you trying worry us again?"
"We are trained under our teacher to keep up" Izuku retorted "if you complain now, then why be a hero at all...?"
That got her to be quiet, even though his methods were... shocking to say the least. He did remind her and the class to face the problem, not play hero...
"Uh Midoriya" Toru called "isn't that a bit harsh?"
"Sorry, but Eraserhead made it clear that trouble will come to us" Izuku sighed "we can't make excuses for ourselves on taking the hero course"
Recalling the Wolfram and his group was a proper example of that... and most who faced it had easily forgot that for wanting only the end, instead of staying aware that hero has to act on it
Mina and Tsuyu felt sad on hearing that, they were distant from the problem. So they had no retort on the villain in his take over attempt
Katsuki and Shouto hardened their gaze at the reminder...when they get back to UA, they'll train harder to handle what the villains will throw at them
Tenya sighed on remembering his anger against Stain in Hosu, he was only spared thanks to his classmate saving him that time and he still needs to work hard so that his hero name Ingenium won't be a mistake to carry
Minoru and Denki felt guilty on trying to worm their way into the hero path with ideas instead of action. They were too busy trying alternatives instead of training properly to get what they wanted in the first place
Kyoka felt embarrassed since her internship was less dangerous due to the pro she worked under handled the danger pretty fast
Melissa blinked at the scenario and turned to her father
"Papa..." she called in a whisper "is this how uncle Might faces the public?"
"No idea actually" he whispered back "I didn't press on finding out because he kept the world safe"
Izuku looked at his classmates when he told them the reality of the hero path
'It is harsh, but that's how uncle told me that being a hero isn't easy' he thought 'our teacher is making sure to remind that under his lessons'
The soul student clapped his hands getting everyone's attention
"It will be a while for you guys to remember that since it's still a new concept to you" he said "let's worry about the awareness problem after relaxing okay?"
"Sounds good" most nodded without problem
"Oh that reminds me" David called "since you explained how your quirk works, would you mind showing their capabilities after you stretch your legs?"
"I can do that" Izuku nodded "I'd want to see if the coat changes affect my stamina"
'That would be interesting to see' Shouto blinked 'your quirk makes your body a vessel on the souls you summon in battle'
After having lunch together Izuku saw All Might and Sam on the way to the training building
"Ah the young heroes have decided to go for a stroll this afternoon" the number one hero smiled seeing his students
"Actually uncle Might, papa and I wanted to test Izuku's quirk in one of our training buildings"
"Really now?"
"After what happened last night, I actually haven't tested the limits of my soul quirk yet" Izuku responded
"It does make one wonder what kind of limits this quirk can give" Sam hummed feeling curious himself
"Great!" Melissa clapped her hands "please follow us then"
The group reached their destination with some looking impressed at the sleek interior of the building
"It looks...plain from the other interiors we've seen" Momo blinked
"But it's fancy!" Mina smiled
"It could use some more color though" Tsuyu tilted her head
"Oh that's because this room isn't activated yet" Melissa said as David went to the control panel
And the room glowed creating a simple forest around them
"Welcome to the simulation room" David chuckled "in here, I can input variety of training scenarios for heroes to practice in"
"This so cool!" Eijiro grinned thinking of situations that would give him trouble in his work
"However" Sam interjected "since this is still a recent creation, the scenarios have to remain simple"
"That's disappointing..." Katsuki crossed his arms hoping for some challenges in this room
"Don't disregard the basics Bakugo!" Tenya chopped his arms "please forgive my classmate on his complaint...!"
"It's fine" the hero supporter responded "we still haven't gotten far with this since support items keeps being invented"
All Might, Melissa, Sam and the other 1-A students gathered to the control panel while Izuku went to the open space
"Any idea on how you want to start young Midoriya?" All Might called
"Create a swarm of enemies around me and lessen the trees" the soul student responded "I starting with Billy the kid"
"Billy the kid...?" Sam blinked in surprise "isn't he the bad guy from his era?"
"Oh he is" Melissa nodded "but he was so well liked in history that most people wanted to remember him as a free spirit in the wild west"
"Oh right" the assistant scratched his head in embarrassment "I forgot that part"
Izuku the targets around him but they were not attacking
"Is this still in the basic programming?" he called "they are not attacking me"
"Yes it is" David answered "remember, this is a training simulation. They won't attack unless you fight"
"Great!" he summoned his buckle and eyecon "there is no problem for me here...!"
Kaigan! Billy the kid! Outlaw of the west, guns ablaze!
Izuku transformed with his two guns in hand and the enemies around started running toward the boy, making him unleash his shooting skills
The watchers were awed or in disbelief at seeing his skill with a firearm
Denki and Minoru were gaping at his classmate shooting a lot of targets without flinching
"Whoa..." Mina blinked
"This is actually the first time I saw Midoriya handle himself against
"What do you mean?" Momo and Kyoka asked with Ochaco and Toru blinking at the frog girl
"Back at USJ, Mineta and I were staying at the boat. Midoriya on the other hand jumped into the water to be the distraction"
"What!?" Tenya screamed "what was he thinking?!"
"Your safety" Melissa spoke getting their attention "Necrom now became a teacher in UA right? Then you should've known that he's a hero on taking risk" her eyes remained on Izuku as he combined his two guns turning them into a rifle "isn't that what he's teaching you...?"
The 1-A group remembered their training session when All Might disguised himself as a villain...that was certainly something risky upon seeing said hero just jump in to the battle without second thought
Dai-kaigin! Gan gan minna! Omega impact!
They saw a big blast as the soul student finished off the final set of targets in sight
"And that's it in this run" Izuku sighed before turning to the audience "how was it?"
Most stayed quiet at seeing the boy handle himself so casually...it was like seeing Necrom in front of them instead!
"You did awesome Midoriya!" Eijiro grinned "it was manly...!"
"I can't believe you took out every last target" Kyoka gulped 'I almost feel scared when a villain decides to make you mad...'
"That was quite a skill you have young hero" David commented "from what I remember, Japan isn't tolerant of guns unless they are toys"
"That's actually thanks to my soul quirk" Izuku replied "when I wear the soul coats after transforming, the soul I carry transfers their power to my body making it natural on what weapon I use"
"Interesting" the hero supporter hummed "that must mean your soul is connected to the soul you use in battle"
"That's a good way of putting it" he nodded
Katsuki balled his hands remembering the finals in the Sports Festival
'Benkei granted you strength and weapons' the blonde explosive thought 'I lost because going alone was my only plan!'
Melissa remembered one time when Necrom demonstrated his proficiency with the souls he carried on his person
'He did mention the soul should have agreement to share their power with the man' she thought 'and Izuku's quirk is just a faster process compared to your gauntlet'
Another demonstration was needed, only this time there will be a giant metal wall acting as target for the soul student
'Time to test the quirk I haven't used since I summoned you' Izuku thought as he held the Musashi eyecon 'I was too focused on your weapons to really try it after talking to you first'
He switched his Billy eyecon with his current one
Kaigan! Musashi! Slash and clash swordsman!
The soul student looked at the wall intently, he can feel his body differently with the ronin's soul
'Time to see if I'm right...' he raised his right arm and moved it down like a sword
The result showed a slash mark on the metal wall surprising the watchers
'That's one limb for a blade' Izuku moved his foot a bit 'now to see if it can be used differently'
Izuku kicked the air delivering another slash mark...!
The audience were stunned at seeing the results of the soul student's action
"I...don't believe it" Sam blinked at seeing the slash marks "isn't Musashi quirkless?"
"He is" David scratched his head "I can't figure out how it's possible"
"I can" Melissa scratched her chin "when Izuku explained his quirk to papa and I. I theorize the souls he summons are granted quirks through the process" she explained "Musashi uses a two-sword fighting style in his lifetime and Izuku gave that man the ability to use that style without his trademark weapon"
The 1-A students blinked at the young genius' explanation and had one thought about her...
'No wonder you're considered the young genius in the world'
Sam was the same, but David...he was proud of his daughter
'I knew talking to you earlier is the right decision' he smiled 'your showing more plans than support items now'
'At least that works' Izuku panted a bit 'it's still a surprise that I didn't try this out earlier when I had you Musashi...'
'That is the way life is seen Izuku' the ronin hummed 'most just focus on learning first before testing some changes' a chuckle followed 'I was like once like that in my lifetime, so eager to learn the way of the sword'
The soul student looked at the damaged wall and remembered his fight against Wolfram
'I wonder if those bullets can still do that?' he summoned the Nobunaga eyecon 'only one way to find out...'
Kaigan! Nobunaga! Our existance, Okehazama!
Izuku raised his arm creating an energy rifle
"Fire!"
The energy construct shot at the wall to which the bullet created a nice clean hole on with the weapon disappearing after it fired
"At least that still works" Izuku hummed "wait, there's still one more thing to check"
He brought out his Gangan saber and changed it into a gun before moving the weapon to his buckle
Dai-kaigan! Gan gan minna!
Three rows of energy rifles appeared above Izuku as his weapon glowed ready to deliver the attack
Omega shoot!
The soul student fired his shot with the rows of rifle following behind riddling the metal with bullet holes...!
When Izuku stopped shooting the metal wall was now halfway small from it's original pristine appearance causing most of the watchers to have dropped jaws
But their shock was stopped they saw Izuku on his knees and losing his armor!
"Deku/Midoriya!" Ochaco, Toru, Mina, Momo and Tenya ran to their classmate
"I'm fine you guys" he gasped "just exhausted myself again since I used a number of souls instead of adrenaline"
"Are you sure you're okay?" Tsuyu croaked "Uraraka got really worried for you when you passed out after fighting that villain last night"
"Tsu!" the gravity girl cried in embarrassment that her friend would just blurt it out like that
"Yes I am" Izuku smiled a bit "although I might need to be carried for a while"
Shouto looked at the broken wall before it disappeared as the room changed back into it's unused state. He remembered back in his childhood that Nobunaga's use of firearms caused the samurai to lose faith in their skills with the sword
'That was the moment Japan was challenged by the outside world' he thought 'and most doubled down on tradition because it was what kept them stable' his mind went to his mother's breakdown when he got his signature scar 'just like how heroes are rule followers instead of freelance agents'
Ochaco used her gravity quirk to lift her friend off the ground, Momo used hers to create a stretcher for him to lie down in which will be carried by Eijiro and Tenya since the two would like to have a talk with their classmate after he rested up again
While the young students helped their friend get back to his bed again. David, All Might, Sam and Melissa watched them leave
"It sure is something to see his quirk in person" the hero supporter smiled
"You said it" the assistant nodded "his quirk is definitely unique"
"That boy will be a hero like no other" the number one hero hummed feeling a bot more proud than normal on seeing his progress
The young genius stayed quiet as she was already thinking of a gadget for her new friend after the display earlier
'I wonder if he would like a simpler version to use in a fight' she thought at seeing the weapon Izuku used
The police escort drove on the open road with Wolfram and his group are on their way to a Tartarus prison
However said villain, despite being in restraints, was mentally panicking at his own failure in I-Island...He's now dreading on the fact that the elusive villain will come for him! He didn't even bother with the lackeys he had joining him to prison because he was too worried for his own pathetic life
Just then the vehicle he's in started swerving out of control before crashing on the ground making the restraints he had loose making. Sadly however, due to using the quirk amplification device forced him to limit his use Metal Manipulation quirk to projectiles and his Muscle Augmentation is unusable due to his body being skinny now
The police was already in action with their weapons ready to use only to quiver when they saw who was the one that stopped him
It was Dark, the elusive villain...
But he's not alone, beside him was another villain.
This one wore a simple red hoodie with the cowl pulled back revealing his head completely covered by a red mask, wore simple black cargo pants and combat boots
This one is Dark's newly recruited minion Rojo
"Hello officers" the elusive villain greeted "you don't have to worry about your lives, I'm only here for Wolfram and his group"
The police gulped that a villain in front of them was giving mercy, but their priorities as law enforcement won out and still had their weapons ready to fire
"At least you know your job" Dark chuckled at their shaking bodies "go to sleep"
The police group fell on the ground out cold without even struggling
"I see that your reputation has stayed prominent master" the red villain said "you've stayed elusive from the heroes and police for so long after all"
"Even though the people can just forget me, they don't know my end goal. Making it hard to feel okay despite the assurances by said groups" he looked at the overturned vehicles "let's get them out of there so they can know who's here"
"Yes master" Rojo nodded
Wolfram, Nobu, Daigo, Swordkil and the remaining lackeys were dragged out and placed together in a pile
They looked up to the elusive villain most of them being quiet while the defeated villain shook in fright
"At least one of you remembered what failure gets you" he spoke making the others stiff
"No! Please don't kill me!" Wolfram begged in desperation with tears in his eyes
"You agreed to this without second thought" Dark reminded "you're not running from this..."
Nobu, Daigo and Swordkil struggled against their restraints to protect their boss while Hacker and the surviving lackeys just stayed put accepting the loss
"Master" Rojo called "it seems that the leader and his followers wants to keep their lives"
"And there are few who accept this end" he hummed "release the fighting members from their restraints" that surprised the strugglers "I'll give them a chance"
"And the ones not fighting?" the red villain added
"Leave them be" Dark shook his head "they'll just go to prison after this"
"What!?" Swordkil shouted "that's not fair!"
"Was I the one who begged to be spared?" the elusive villain sneered "besides, you're willing to fight, so prove it without excuses"
That shut him up and the other strugglers grunted with him finally agreeing to the terms
"Oh and Rojo, you will take care of these fools" Dark called "I'll keep Wolfram company for now"
"Yes master" the red villain nodded as he used his quirk destroying the restraints "you have a chance to have dignity" he said to the lackeys "don't waste it"
Dark explained to Daigo, Swordkil and Nobu that it will be a one-on-one fight and no interference until one is dead
"Remember, you have a chance to keep your dignity in this fight" the elusive villain reminded
"This will be easy" Nobu readied himself "I'll be free when this is over"
That will be the last statement he said because Rojo used his quirk to get close and punched through the chest of the now dead Nobu
"You are an amateur compared to me" the red villain stated before pulling his blood soaked arm back "it's no wonder master sees your death necessary"
Swordkil was stunned to see his fellow killed off quickly. Daigo instantly went mad and activated his quirk transforming into a beast man, ready to pummel Rojo to a bloody pulp!
But Daigo's battle was similar to Nobu's...Rojo dodged the giant arms easily and jumped around making the beast man reckless in his attacks before the red villain struck the elbow joint first before going to the shoulder dislocating the arm entirely
"You did better than Nobu, but just like him. You think this battle is easy"
Rojo made a knife hand before striking Daigo's head cutting the top part, where his brain is, off him resulting in the beast man's death
Swordkil is the only one left to fight and the man grinded his teeth that he is the last one to do battle. But he won't be like the fallen...he will live...!
Rojo dodged a sword at coming at him and saw his last opponent not wasting his time to be the winner and keep his life
"You're really desperate huh?" the red villain looked at his last target
But Swordkil wasn't listening...he was too focused on keeping his life and swung wildly. To which Rojo dodged naturally
While that happened Dark was making Wolfram watched everything. The defeated villain looked away when Nobu was killed quickly but was forced to watch Daigo scream next before getting killed himself
"You see now Wolfram?" the elusive villain spoke "I warned you not to gloat so much in your mission. But you ignored that, focusing more on your might instead of finishing the job. Resulting in the state you are in" he looked at the guy's withered appearance "I can understand that All Might made you wear the device. But you stayed instead of knocking him out on the first chance and leave" and sighed "which caused your unexpected defeat in I-Island"
Swordkil was on his knees and had bleeding arms from his fight against Rojo. He looked up with lingering defiance despite the defeat...he won't surrender, not now. Not ever...!
The red villain simply looked at his target calmly and kneeled down
"You didn't boast when I fought back" he looked at his target "only focused on the one thing this offer has"
"Is this supposed to make me feel good?" the man growled
"Yes" Rojo nodded "you are, at least, better than the two idiots I killed"
The red villain raised a finger "be happy that you've proven yourself capable" and killed him by puncturing his brain as if shot by a bullet!
Rojo stood up and turned to his leader "it is done"
"And that's the last fighter you have Wolfram" Dark chuckled making the restrained villain gulp "you better give it your all despite this" he said coldly "otherwise that boast back in I-Island is your delusion taking over"
The elusive villain forced the restrained villain on his feet before ordering Rojo to protect Hacker and his companions
"Let's see if your desperation can make a miracle" Dark called as he made distance from Wolfram "show me what you can still do"
The restrained villain used his quirk on obtaining the weapons from out cold officers and used every one instantly...!
The bullets sprayed at Dark as the villain ran around dodging the projectiles until the weapons are empty
"You really wasted your chance Wolfram..." the elusive villain looked at the bullets on the ground "now you will die by my hand"
The soul villain waved his arm over his waist making a belt appear in black flames and an eyecon in hand scaring the defeated villain due to the action reminding him of Deku Ghost
Eye!
A black parka coat with white lining appeared and swatted the weapons Wolfram used in his desperation to live
Bachirimina! Bachirimina!
"Transform!"
Kaigan! Dark Ghost! Dark power...evil vessel!
Dark now wore a padded bodysuit with his parka coat attached to him making the defeated villain panic
"I'd put you in pain first, but you are so pathetic now" the elusive villain shook his head "I'll just put you out of your misery"
Dark reached for the lever on his belt
Dai-kaigan! Dark Ghost omega drive!
Black energy flared on Dark's left leg and he jumped up delivering a flying kick to Wolfram creating an explosion
Rojo protected Hacker and the remaining lackeys from the rushing winds of Dark's attack. They turned to see the elusive villain standing tall with Wolfram's legs revealed as his upper half is now ashes
"And that's the end of a failure" he dusted his hands before removing his armor
"Are you...going to kill us now?" Hacker questioned as the other minions shivered "we did work under Wolfram"
"Oh please, you chose to accept the loss in I-Island when Wolfram and his forces fought against the deal I gave" he shrugged "you prefer prison instead of risking your lives again"
The lackey and his fellows sighed in relief
"So what happens now?" he looked at the still out cold officers "we left overs just wait for them to wake up?"
"Yes" Dark nodded "don't worry they're about to get up soon" he assured "I'll just make my goodbyes to them and you guys can go to prison safely"
Back at I-Island Izuku is now walking with his classmates Melissa and Toshinori. David and Sam have to separate since they have to explain to the reporters on how the incident happened despite their mass security
"So Mr. Yagi how is the island treating you" Tenya spoke to hero agent
"Other than the villains making a surprise take over last night" he hummed "the place is as it should be. Offering comfort to civilian and heroes alike"
"That's good" Shouto nodded 'I still can't believe that Midoriya fought a villain' his mind recalled to Stain 'first he restrained the hero killer...now he just defeated an amplified one with All Might's help'
Katsuki balled his hands a bit remembering the battle against Wolfram 'damn you Deku...going so far ahead' he looked at the soul student 'you even beat another villain while the rest of us only handled little soldiers'
"Thanks for feeding me lunch a bit Uraraka" Izuku turnd to his first friend "I didn't think you were that worried about me"
"You did say you fought Wolfram twice Deku" the gravity girl crossed her arms
Melissa smiled a bit at the duo 'it must be nice being able to meet with people you trust' her mind went back the talk she had with her father 'I'll tell them later, right I want to enjoy the fact that Wolfram and his group lost against uncle Might and the future hero Deku Ghost'
Mina grinned at seeing the scenario
"Hey" she whispered to Momo, Kyoka, Toru and Tsuyu "don't you think that those two are getting... close?"
"They are" the frog girl croaked "Uraraka told me that she had been friends with Midoriya since enrolling to UA"
"It does make me wonder if he noticed her first but kept quiet since they met the first time" the earphone student hummed
The creation girl and visible student flinched at that, they developed crushes to their soul classmate after what he did during his time with them. The two looked at the gravity girl smiling happily to Izuku making them feel jealous since she's been with him from the start
'I wonder if Midoriya would like a sleep over with?' they thought simultaneously
The group reached a special empty building that was just finished and will be opening in a few days from now
"This is a display area where instead of tested prototypes, it would be showing the model variant of them"
"Wow Melissa, this island hasn't stopped being amazing to me" Izuku blinked in awe at the interior of the building
"I'm glad you like it" the young genius smiled "I also have studio building that is used for people to help with practice performances on handling the public media"
That got Mina's attention "can we go there?" she jumped a bit "Midoriya promised us that he would sing"
"Oh right" the soul student scratched his head "I forgot about that thanks to last night"
"You can sing Izuku?" Melissa blinked in surprise much to Denki and Minoru's jealousy
"Were you able to practice a bit Midoriya?" the engine student asked "you did say you haven't do that in years"
"I was able to from time to time" he smiled "and don't worry about the instruments, I can have Beethoven be the music background"
"Are you sure that soul can play modern instruments?" Kyoka blinked "I mean, in his era he played the classic style after all"
"Beethoven is a talented musician Jirou" the soul student chuckled "I'm sure he can understand the modern instruments of today"
'I wonder what song is he going make?' Tsuyu tilted her head 'is it one he made himself or is it from the past like the souls he summoned'
"This is going to be interesting" Shouto called feeling curious himself
Toshinori smiled at seeing them get excited on one making a performance without worrying about villain attacks
The scarecrow checked his watch and his eye went wide at the time"
"You kids will have to excuse me" Toshinori spoke "I have to go help All Might now with the paperwork from last night's villain attack"
"We shouldn't keep you here then" the engine student nodded "help the number one hero with his work"
Katsuki looked at Izuku and decided to ask a question
"Hey Deku" the blonde explosive called "just to get this out of me, what's the song about?"
The soul student smiled warmly "it's about my uncle and his views of the pro-hero career"
That got their attention even though they know the man's intention as a hero, they never heard it through song
"Before you ask. No it's not an original song, it's actually one from the quirkless era" he chuckled "my uncle said it was his favorite and he sang it to me when I got interested in playing music"
Melissa and the 1-A group were silent at this. Their curiosity just grew wanting to hear the song their friend will give out
Upon entering the studio Melissa and her friends sat down in a row talking about Izuku's performance soon
"Oh this is so exciting!" Mina jumped in her chair a bit "Midoriya is finally going to perform!"
"It is" Momo nodded 'how impactful will it be though?'
"Since it's about the controversial hero" Eijiro grinned "I bet it's gonna be a manly song"
"Deku singing?" Katsuki scratched his head in disbelief before shrugging "whatever...let's get this over with"
"Bakugo behave!" Tenya chopped the air "Midoriya sharing something important to us!"
Shouto simply looked at the stage feeling himself a bit excited on wanting to hear Necrom's belief about his hero path
Denki and Minoru crossed their arms and huffed "I can't believe that Midoriya has hidden talent..." their jealousy easily being shown
"It sure will be something to hear ribbit" Tsuyu hummed at imagining her classmate performing on stage
"I know" Toru followed "he is probably the first person in our doing this publicly"
Ochaco clasped her hands together silently praying that she can stay awake through the performance and not faint like a fan
The soul student walked on stage with Beethoven hiding behind the curtains. He was wearing a quite a set of clothes on performing today; a dark green open jacket with a bright underneath grey pants and a pair of sneakers
To finish the look he wore a performance headset with a big smile on his face as if playing this song is a dream come true
If the group could comment right now, they thought that Izuku would have been mistaken as a performer instead of hero...!
Not to mention that Momo, Mina, Tsuyu and Toru had noticeable blushes on their faces while Ochaco entire head turned red at seeing him look so eye catching
"Start the music!" he called
And the composer waved his hands creating musical notes in the area with music

The audience have varying reactions to this performance
Mina, Toru, Momo and Ochaco are in awe to see their classmate show such a hidden talent... a couple of them even developed blushes while watching
Tenya was reminded of his brother Tensei. A hero he looks up to... even though his brother didn't feel much to give his all and just did his job, he didn't back down from the family job and just kept working like everyone in the Iida family
Denki, Minoru were gaping at Izuku on his singing ability...the jealousy they is still there, but the song they were listening to was a surprise from the way trheir classmate sung...the hero path was pretty much just a job to do. It was nothing special to the world despite it's fame and fortune advantage, because the government created the system ever since quirks became a dominant part of peoples lives
Tsuyu, Kyoka and Eijiro had varying reactions
The frog girl stayed normal but her face had a tint of red since this actually the first time to see one of her friends look... attracting
The earphone girl was smiling wide that someone else has a way with music like her. No doubt that she's so happy that telling her parents will be surprised about this
The hardening student felt his eyes water the lyrics was just about someone doing the job and not bothering to ask for the rewards so much...
Katsuki couldn't even make a complaint on this one. He was suddenly recalling how the world just expected him to be a great hero, he wanted it as a dream and yet he was given the opportunity rather than work his way up on earning that career
Shouto remained stoic but internally the song reminded him of his father Endeavor. Sure the number two is a selfish jerk only wanting to surpass the number one but the pro-hero career isn't just a dream...it's also seen as an everyday job to a majority of the populace and has to be filled due to the government allowing it a work ethic
Melissa on the other hand was quiet, but her wide eyes spoke differently. She met Necrom when uncle Might visited her personally with the controversial hero as his plus one on the first visit to I-Island, at first she was surprised that the controversial hero never bothered to get into the top 10 hero list. But his answer to that is pretty simple and that stayed in her head whenever she hears news about him
'Being famous and praised is good but that is just a distraction to getting things done'

The music stopped and Izuku saw the reactions of his audience from the song he performed
"I'm glad that you liked it" he smiled
But then he suddenly fell to his knees and started coughing...!
"Izuku/Deku/Midoriya!" the group ran toward him in worry but sighed in slight relief that he was waving his arm to them
"He'll be fine" Beethoven walked in to help his summoner "it's like he said before, he hasn't done this in years" and patted the green-haired boy's back "his throat muscles aren't well trained since he stopped"
"Then why go through all this?" Katsuki crossed his arms while Melissa went out to get a water bottle
"He wanted it to be special" the composer responded "this little thing is only done within the family"
After Izuku got his drink and his throat relaxed
"So..." he looked at his audience "how'd you like it?"
He was swarmed with cheers and praise on his music talent being displayed. Beethoven chuckled at this before changing back to an eyecon since his summoner's concentration got weak from the vocal bombardment rained down
After the group stopped their chatter and let Izuku speak
"I'm glad you liked it" he smiled warmly "but don't expect me to sing again so soon"
"Aw, why not?" Mina pouted "you have good talent"
"I agree" Momo followed "you're work in the musical arts is something that should be heard"
Kyoka nodded as well finding it to be wasteful to deny that talent
"I'm thankful for the encouragement, but I will say no" the soul student responded "for two reasons: first, you know that I haven't sung in years. And second, I sing only on special occasions...after all, I plan to be a hero not an entertainer"
"But a hero can do both since it can affect lives" Melissa reasoned "I've seen pros do that in their careers"
"I'm not saying it's impossible" Izuku sighed "It's just not in my mindset, after all...to me a hero acts to save a life first and then there's the expectation that danger might come soon" he reasoned "after all the world should stay safe for people to walk out and handle their own days"
The young genius blinked at those words it was mixture of uncle Might's goal as the symbol of peace making the world safe and Necrom's reminder that a safe world requires more effort than intended
Melissa smiled happily and decided to reveal the news
"You gave your surprise today and now I will give mine" she said getting eyes on her "I'm transferring to UA with you guys"
"WHAAAAT!?" the 1-A shouted in shock, disbelief and surprise
That was quite a bomb drop to reveal after today...

And that concludes the Two Heroes arc...I wanted to show the aftermath part of the movie and Izuku's little hobby to his friends, and boy was it a wonder to see (had the death of Hisashi Midoriya not happened, he could've helped with the morale of 1-A in a surprising manner)
Now to address the topics in this chapter
Izuku letting Sam stay as David's assistant- All Might inspired the boy to take the hero path (showing that helping people is what heroes do) but Necrom's personal experience taught him how to be one (handling a situation that involves risk)
Izuku testing his quirk- I know I said that I will limit the souls he'll summon in battle, but he hasn't tested that so much after All Might passed OFA to him (his exhaustion happens mostly from One For All, not Soul User so this chapter is a check for Izuku if he has to use more eyecons in a fight)
As for the song used (everyday superhero) it fits Mark's belief he stated early in the story, he doesn't want to be famous like a typical pro-hero. He became infamous by doing all types of jobs to help people (solo and team) with no government influence tying him down (with star wars being referenced in this franchise...Necrom is pretty much the Qui-Gon Jinn of MHA)
Melissa transferring to UA school-with the incident of Wolfram in I-Island. David would want his daughter stay with the friends she made (it's also a good chance for her to interact with Necrom since he's her favorite hero as he didn't rely on using a quirk so much in his career)
Dark, with his minion Rojo, killing Wolfram and his group-considering the villain revealed to All Might that All For One is alive and hidden...it wouldn't put past the symbol of evil to remove that loose end off screen (you readers really wanted to see Dark operate. I relented a bit presenting a quick scene of that)
Also I plan to make a filler chapter before season 3 starts. It's a good chance to show Himiko Toga show her reformed self so she could be with her hero Deku Ghost again plus with Melissa will have some interacting with Mark Edgeese aka the controversial hero, Necrom
