The face of Nico Di Angelo appeared on the screen
His face was pale as usual but he was much taller and had grown out his hair. It was a coal-black colour and the edges were like baby bat wings. He was muscular then before, his normal aesthetic still present. He had a gold chain over his neck, a black leather jacket, skinny black jeans and combat boots. His stygian sword hung from his waist.
Nico looked at his older other self in well... he didn't now what but he was soon to find out.
He had bags under his eyes, and his hair looked like he just woke up. He probably did.
"Leo, its 7am in the morning. Why did you wake me up?" Nico asked as he stretched his arms and legs
"Sorry Neeks, I just found something cool," Leo replied ignoring Nico eyeroll
"It better be, you meant to be on patrol" Nico said
Leo looked at the ground on his right
"I know, I know Nico its just... been hard. Since... whatever this mess is" Leo mumbled
"The Apocalypse, that we didn't see coming" Nico said without missing a beat
"Wait, Apollo you didn't see this coming?" Ares asked
"I haven't," Apollo said before he saw his father's face "Yet"
"Yeah, you said it Di Angelo"
Leo mind flashed to the remains of the world around them. He saw the remains of a destroyed Camp Half-blood, New York and Olympus
Leo curled his hands into fist and they burst into flames, turning form orange, white to blue
"Leo... LEO" Nico yelled
" What, Ghost boy"
"You zoned out again, I told you don't think about what happened back ... at camp"
"I shouldn't have missed" Leo said his voice chocking on every word
Nico clenched his fists and teeth. Cracks shot form the Earth. A eerie ghostly light shone form these cracks. White skeleton hands tried to craw their way up. Waves of shadows burst form Nico each filled with scenes of death and pain
"I wouldn't want to be there" Jason said even though he had already felt the effects of Nico anger.
The battle of the Acropolis, where Gaia first rose.
A younger looking Leo limped his way across the a smoke infested hall of bronze. It was the Argo II.
"Got to help the others... Got to get to Festus" He mumbled as he coughed more and more smoke
"Leo why would you risk yourself like that?" Piper asked, she was worried for her little brother
"Just keep on watching" Leo replied, internal screaming
He got to a warehouse looking door and knocked in morse code. The door opened slowly, but Leo still dashed through. He arrived on top of his flying ship right next to Festus' head.
" Hey Buddy, Its time..." Leo said
The bronze dragon's ruby eyes glowed with excitement
Leo ushered a plan he always went to use
"Festus, Rain Fire"
He felt the ship rumble and lose a lot of weight very quickly. You could hear the clogs and gears at work deploying his greatest weapons
Celestial Bronze missiles. Enough to blow up New York
He saw as his missiles bombarded the Giants' army. Those suckers were soo dead. One of his missiles hit the Giant Enceladus on the left side of his face. After the smoke cleared, his face was burnt and scarred. His hair was singed and his eye was surrounded by burnt tissue. The air smelt of burnt pig.
"GO LEO, GO LEO, GO LEO" Percy, Apollo and Hermes shouted dancing for the overdramatic flare. Annabeth just sighed at her boyfriend's antics. Artemis took her brothers by the ear and forced them to sit back down. Everyone laughed at that
"VALDEZ, YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT" the giant screamed as he launched his spear at Leo
Everyone gasped at that. Piper ran and tackled Leo into a hug
"Beauty Queen your going to break my ribs, I'm fine I'm O.K" Leo whispered into her ear
"How did the Argo stay intact and you completely uninjured" Will asked astounded
"You will see, Solace"
As the giant's spear hurled towards the ship. his ship. Festus tried to burn it but it just increased in speed. Leo, actually thought he was a goner.
Suddenly, the clouds darkened and the sky rumbled with thunder. The winds sped up and started to feed a giant funnel cloud of a thunderstorm. Lighting flashed as intense as a nuke.
"No fucking way," Jason whispered in awe
Leo's ears popped as the smell of ozone filled the sky around him. BOOM
A bolt of lighting struck the spear mid-air, vaporizing the projectile and anything under it.
"No fucking way,"
A voice thundered above the clouds
"GET THE HADES AWAY, FROM MY GRANDSON YOU BLIND, BURNT BASTARD"
And then the Olympians descend in all their glory...
"Holy Poseidon, that was soo awesome," Clarisse exclaimed
Everyone looked at her, confused and surprised by her outburst
"What, can I not like a bit of awesome battle scene or is that more of Leo and Apollo thing" She retorted
"Fair enough, I have to agree with Clarisse that was awesome too watch" Frank said
"That might of been the coolest thing I have seen Zeus do" Percy said surprised at his Uncle protection of his grandson.
Everyone looked at Zeus, surprised and in awe at what he had done.
What? It not like I don't care for my family." He replied with, his eyes flickering with subdued lightning
"I may not show it, but I care for all my kids. I can be harsh but its not like I had a father figure" Zeus said, hoping the looks that everyone casting would stop. And that what happened
Another scene came out of the inky black of Nico's shadows
A younger looking Nico and Leo appeared, surrounded by rumble. The two demigods scavenged through the dust and rumble, looking for something. They were two others
" Leo, why are we again," The boys asked simultaneously
" I had a dream something, important was here. Connor, you check the west side; Travis you take the east," Leo said in a commanding voice
"On it General," The Stolls said giving him a mock salute before super-speeding out of there.
"Wait, you two have super speed" Hermes said shocked
"YOU GUYS HAVE SUPER SPEED" All the demigods barked
The Stolls brothers were in shock as well, their father dancing around saying, "Me boys have super speed"
"We don't have super speed, we swear on the Styx" They said simultaneously
Thunder rumbled, sealing the oath
"Maybe you haven't unlocked it yet and in that timeline you have," Frank stated
The Stolls' faces lit up and a mischievous glint in their eyes
"That means , we will get super speed,"
"Oh gods, I hope that day never comes" Demeter said dramatically
"Agreed," Hera said rolling her eyes at the demigods
"I still don't get way they have super speed and told no one for years" Someone said
Leo turned around and he came face to face with the son of Hades, Nico di Angelo. Unknown, to the Ghost King, Leo was angry at Nico.
"Look, who finally decided to show up. AFTER 3 MONTHS DI ANGELO, THREE MONTHS" Leo screamed at the pale Italian boy
" Nico di Angelo, the ghost King finally decides to show the fuck up. Was it because you were ashamed that you are gay or you just couldn't handle being accepted into an actually home. "
"Piss off before I wipe you sorry ass form the face of Gaea" Leo said threateningly, his fists flaming a molten white colour
"Before, you attempt to kill me, I want to know one thing," Nico stated
"Where are we?"
Leo flames went out and he stared at a Nico, dead-straight in the eyes.( bad pun)
