"Natsu Devours a Village"

"Urgh! Geez!" Lucy complained, "Come on, Happy! You're lost again, aren't you?! We've been walking forever and we still haven't reached Magnolia! Why are we following a cat anyway!?"

This is Web Valley, filled with countless fissures produced by ancient earthquakes. As explained previously, it is said that countless people have strayed into this valley, never to return.

"What do you mean "again"? How rude! I didn't get lost before! This is the first time!" Happy complaint, as he was in Jenny's arms.

"First time or not, let just tried to make it our last, ok." Lucy said.

"Man, I want some food." Natsu mentioned.

"We all do talking about it just makes us hungrier." Gray said.

"I can't help it if I'm hungry! Jerk!"

"Quit talking about it then!"

"Indeed... I'm famished." Makarov said.

"Weren't you just listening?!" Natsu and Gary yelled at him.

"Stop it." Erza said then her stomach growled. Everyone looked at her.

"Your stomach just grumbled." Stacey said to her.

"It did not. You're hearing things." Erza argued.

"Th-That's a crazy excuse if I've ever heard one..." Gray said.

Then Stacey looked to the side in silence, thinking of something. Natsu noticed that Stacey was quiet the whole time of them walking.

~Anastasia's POV~

"Hey, Stacey, you have been quiet the whole time of us walking, you are ok?" Natsu said to me. I flinch a little, looking at Natsu.

"Oh, I was thinking of something that I want to tell you guys, just don't know how say it..." I said to him, Natsu gave me a confused look. Everyone else looked at me as well.

"I want to tell you guys this for years, just never had a chance to talk about it, I can see through the future, like I can see future events happening..." I explained to them.

"Whoa, like you can see what happened next?" Lucy asked. I nodded, "But I can give you guys hints when these events happen when the time comes." I replied.

"That is very helpful, Stacey." Erza said as she smiled at me and I blushed. Happy gasped in excitement, he jumped out of my arms.

"What are you so excited about?" Natsu asked him.

"Natsu! Look down there!" Happy yelled in excitement as we all looked over the cliff to see flying fish.

"These are Wingfish! They're a legendary delicacy! They're super yummy!" Happy said excitedly, "Yum! Yum! Yum...!"

"Legendary delicacy?" Gray asked in disbelief.

"Wingfish, huh?" Erza said.

"Sounds tasty!" Natsu says.

I made a disgust expression, "I don't know, the fish look like it's not going to be tasty looking."

"Come on, Stacey, It can be very tasty!?" Happy said excitedly to me. I sighed in disbelief.

"Well done, Happy! Thank you for finding them!" Makarov praised Happy as our stomachs grumbling.

"You're all too hungry..." Lucy exclaimed then her stomach growled.

"You too." Gray said smugly to her.

"Shut up..."

"All right! Let's fish!" Happy said with a fishing rod in his hand.

"Squawk"

"Man. Come on you stupid fish, just shut up, let me eat ya." Natsu said with a fishing rod. Well everyone had a fishing rod and joined. I just sat and watched.

"You gotta fish harder guys!" Happy encouraged.

"They don't look that tasty to me..." Lucy exclaimed.

"Be quiet and fish. Anything edible will do." Erza sassed at Lucy.

"You're that hungry?!" Lucy said shocked.

"In my opinion, it looks and maybe tastes bad as well." I commented.

"I wanna eat a wingfish! They're delicious!
They're a legendary delicacy!" Happy hyped himself up. A moment later he gives up.

"So weak-willed!" Lucy stated.

"But we couldn't catch any at all..." Happy said sad.

"You really want to eat one, don't cha. You shouldn't give up so easily. You can do it, little guy!" Lucy encouraged Happy.

Happy looked at her, and got defensive, "You're so mean, Lucy!" Then ran into my arms.

"What?! I was cheering you up!" Lucy said.

"Come on, Lucy, have a heart." I said.

"That sure was hard." Lucy said.

"We only managed to catch one..." Erza said disappointed. Natsu fired up the fish.

"You eat it, Happy." Natsu told him.

"But it wouldn't be fair..." Happy said conflicted.

"It'd only make us hungrier if we split it into tiny pieces!" Gray told him.

"Don't hold back! Eat! Eat up!" Makarov yelled at him.

"Really? Okay, thanks for the food!" Happy said as he munched on the fish, and our stomachs grumbled. As Happy continued eating all the way.

"You really seem to be enjoying that weird fish... It must be true bliss." Lucy complained.

"Yuck!" Happy said with disgust look.

"Hard to say but..." Natsu trailed off.

"Man... I'm starving..." Gray said.

"Boy, am I hungry..." Makarov said.

"Yeah..." I replied, while I was holding Natsu's hand, he squeezed my hand gently. We all were walking through the valley. Then we arrived in front of a village.

"A village!" Erza said.

"Houses!" Gray said.

"Then there's probably...!" Happy stated.

"Food!" Everyone said and run inside the village and I followed as well. We arrived in the town square and it was empty.

"There's no one here." Gray stated.

"This is a really quiet village..." Lucy said.

"Maybe everyone's taking a nap?" Natsu said , "Hey! Anyone here?!" He called out. I looked around, I said, "It's like a ghost town, creepy."

"We're starving like crazy! Someone please give us food!" Happy yelled.

"Stop, starving cat! You're being too frank!" Lucy trailed off.

"Are you sure they're napping?" Gray asked.

"That, or everyone got drunk and passed out." Makarov said.

"You're thinking of Fairy Tail..." Lucy said. Makarov chuckled a little, "That's a good point!"

"Bah! This is annoying! I'll just take whatever food I can find by force!" Natsu said running to hit some food.

"Hold on! That's basically robbery!" Gray said racing next him.

"So?! You have the same idea!" Natsu chimed. We followed behind them as they went inside one of the houses.

Natsu opened the door, "Hey! Anyone home?!
Give us something to eat! Please!" We walked right in the house.

"Nope, there's no one here."

"But, hey! There's food!" Natsu said picking up one of food and sniff it. "All right! It's still good!
Down the hatch!"

"Wait, Natsu, it's weird..." I said.

"Oh, come on!" Natsu complained.

"Stacey is right, there is something's not right." Erza added.

"Yeah. It's like people were just eating here. Where did the people who live here disappear to?" Gray said.

"How should I know?" Natsu said, "Let's just eat for now, Happy!"

"Aye!"

"Wait!" I shouted as I slapped the bread that was in his hand.

"Ok..." Natsu said pouting at me.

"We need to investigate this village first. We held out for this long. We can hold on for a little longer-" Erza discussed then her stomach grumbled.

"Erza. Your stomach is really rumbling." Lucy said as Erza's stomach continued to grumbled.

"Indeed. You aren't convincing at all." Makarov said.

"Natsu! Stacey! You guys will look for mushrooms or something! Don't touch the food in the village!" Erza ordered as her stomach continued to grumbled, "Master and I will investigate the village in the meantime!"

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go, Happy and Stacey." Natsu said as we followed behind.

The surrounding area was full with mushrooms everywhere went different colors and shapes.

"That food looked really good, too. Mushrooms won't fill me up at all." Natsu complained.

"Hey, Mushrooms." Gray said as he noticed them.

"Oh, wow! They look great!" Natsu said drooling.

"Why mushrooms?" Lucy questioned.

"I recognize this." Happy chimed.

"What?"

"Natsu's gonna eat poisonous mushrooms, like "Laughing Mushrooms" or something!" Happy said.

"Cliche"

"It's a cliche gag!" Happy said with a sign in his hand as Natsu was eating the mushrooms on the ground. "Honeybun, don't eat those!" I said to him.

"Mushrooms aren't very filling, but this many should hit the spot." Natsu said continuing eating the mushrooms. "Stop eating them..." I said slapping the mushrooms from his hand/arm, as the mushrooms fell on the ground.

"Just hurry and pick some!" Gray said as he was eating a mushroom. I noticed Gray was eating one. "Not you too, Gray, don't eat those!" I ordered him.

Natsu made a look like he ate something bad, then he grabbed his throat like he was choking.

"Natsu! Are you okay?!" I said worried.

"Here it comes!" Happy said. As a pink mushroom with yellow spots appears on Natsu's head.

"I'm shocked!" Natsu said unaware that he has a mushroom on his head.

"Your head, is scary!?" Lucy said in shocked.

"I guess they weren't Laughing Mushrooms..." Happy said disappointment.

"You're depressed about that?!" Lucy said in disbelief.

"What are you making a ruckus about?" Gray said walking up to us, but surprised he also had a mushroom on his head, it was blue one.

I looked in disbelief, "Guys, just looked your heads." The boys looked at each other and screamed in surprise and horror.

"What's with that mushroom on your head?!" Natsu said.

"No, what's with the stupid mushroom on your head?!"

"Why aren't they worried about themselves?" Lucy said looking at the scene in disbelief.

I looked at her, with look of disbelief, "Because they are idiots, Lucy. Complete morons..." I sighed in disbelief.

"Hey, droopy-eyes. Did you just laugh at me?" Natsu said with angry expression.

"Me? What are you laughing at shroom head." Gray countered back. Then they fight one another.

"Don't fight with mushrooms on your heads!" I yelled at them.

"Come on, guys, turn off the stupid, ok." Lucy said in disbelief.

"Jenny! I found a jumbo-size one!" Happy said carrying a huge mushroom in his hands.

"Y-You did?! But doesn't it seem strange somehow?" I said nervous about looking at it.

"Let me see! Oh! It's huge!" Natsu said looking at the mushroom.

"Just one of these could last two days!" Gray said.

"Shouldn't you do something about the ones on your heads?" Lucy said to the two.

Happy chomp on the huge mushroom.

"No, Happy! You know better! It could be poisonous! Spit it out!" I said shaking him.

"But it's yummy!" Happy said then grabbed his throat, as a pink hump mushroom appears on his head. I grunted in annoyance by this.

'This is so frustrating, seeing a on screen was frustrating, but seeing it in person, oh my God. Why are you so stupid sometimes.' I thought looking at this event in disbelief.

"I guess this happens to everyone who eats one." Natsu said.

"How did the villagers eat 'em?" Gray added.

"They were probably all like this too!"

"I bet it was called Mushroom Village!" Gray said as he and Natsu chuckled.

"It's not funny the second time!" Happy said sad.

"That's not the problem here!"

"Natsu!" I said looking at Natsu as the mushroom on head was growing, "Is it me, or has your mushroom grown?!"

"That's not fair! Natsu gets all the good gags!" Happy cried in sadness.

There was growling noise was heard in the air.

"You heard that?" Natsu said. "What is that?" Lucy asked in confusion. The boy's mushrooms started to glow and fell of their heads.

"Oh! Our mushrooms are gone!" Happy chimed.

"Happy! Yours is still on!" Lucy said to him. Happy noticing his mushroom was still on his head.

"Erza! Gramps!" Natsu yelled as we followed towards them.

"I guess it's funny, but I still don't like it!"

"Erza!" Natsu said. I noticed the ground was glowing.

"Be careful, Happy!" Natsu warned him.

"Aye."

The building started to be wobbly.

"What is this?!" Natsu asked shock.

"Wh-What's happening?!" Lucy said shock as well.

"I've never seen houses move before!" Happy added.

"That's what you're focused on?!"

The ground was moving as well, and it was freaky.

"I don't like this." I mumbled.

"My word..." Makarov muttered.

"Let's do it, Gramps." Gray said starting his magic.

"Wait!" Makarov said.

"What for?!" Gray questioned.

"We need to get to higher ground. I want to check something." Makarov said to us.

"Come, everyone. Stay close!" Erza said as we all started running out of the town and on a cliff overlooking it. The a minute later the entire town were turning into monsters.

"Ah man. Look we got out just on time." Natsu said.

"Now, I see it was a magic circle." Erza said as everyone but me look in shock.

"Yes. Those lines you found were part of a magic circle. And this particular magic circle is used for a sealing spell banned long ago..." Makarov said, "The Alive magic!"

"Alive?" Lucy asked confused.

"See for yourself. It's clear as day. It's a spell that turns inanimate objects into living creatures." Makarov explained, "The villagers must've activated that forbidden spell, only to be eaten by these monsters themselves."

"But why would they do something that risky?" Lucy asked.

"This is a dark guild's village." I said.

"What?!"

"I found numerous magic tools when I checked a shed earlier. None of which are intended for good purposes." Erza explained.

"Knowing the dark guilds, they were probably cooking up a vile plan and wound up destroying themselves in the process." Makarov said, "But...! There's one thing we should be grateful for!"

"What do you mean, Gramps?!" Natsu asked.

"As I said before, they're living creatures. And most living creatures...can be eaten!" Makarov said in excitement.

"Wha...?!" Lucy said in disbelief.

"Why are you half-naked with a creepy smile on your face?!" I said in annoyed.

"Huh?"

All of our stomachs grumbled.

"All right! Let's eat!" Natsu said excitedly.

"Yay! It's time to eat!"

"At this point, it doesn't matter how they taste!" Gray said then Erza rushed over to the monsters.

"Wha...?! You're that hungry, Erza?!" Lucy said shocked. I sighed, "Well, I got we have to, I'm just so hungry!" I said joining in the fight.

"All right! Food! Food!"

"SaVe some for me, too!"

"Listen up dinner! Know who I am?! I'm the best flambe chef in Fairy Tail! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu said as he used his magic to punch the monster in front of him.

"Cook it thoroughly first, and then...Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu said as he punched another one.

I pointed at a serpent, "Ice Dragon crystal shards!" As ice shard were thrown at it and the serpent was cuts to pieces. I nodded over to Natsu.

"And then...!" Natsu kicked the side of the canyon, causing multiple rocks to fall onto the serpent. He landed on the ruble and gave me a peace sign, "Cover it and let it steam for a short while!"

I look on amazement, "Wah! Good job, Natsu! These monsters are gonna taste super yummy when they're done!"

We were able to see the serpent browning as it continued to cook and after Natsu used his dragon slayer magic to speed the cooking process up, it was finally ready to try.

Natsu jumped down and joined my side as we walked up to the cooked serpent. Natsu broke a piece off for me and one for him.

"Time to eat!" We cheered, tapping our pieces together before raising them to our mouths.

Before we could take a bite, they heard Happy screaming fearfully and turned our heads towards the sound. We were confused to see Happy riding a chair that was trying to buck him off.

Happy!" I exclaimed worryingly.

"What are you doing?" Natsu questioned the little blue cat, "It's not like you can eat a chair."

"Should we help him?" I asked, glancing briefly at Happy.

Natsu shrugged his shoulders, "Nah, he can handle himself." He glanced down at the meat in his hand and grinned, "Now let's eat!"

We took a bite and immediately my face twisted in disgust. I quickly spit the disgusting meat out of my mouth and fake barfing to get rid of the nasty taste.

We ran back to Master Makarov who was still sitting above on the edge of the cliff.

"What the heck? I can't eat this, Gramps!" Natsu yelled in disgust.

"There's gross, and then there's this!" Gray added in a similar tone.

I nodded with an apologetic smile, "Sorry Master, I'm starving, but I'm not that desperate."

"True." Ezra also nodded, "It's not something one would call, edible."

"Don't say that after you made me eat it!" Lucy waved her fists rapidly in front of her.

Happy let out another scream, before the chair crashed into the stone wall, with poor Happy finally losing the mushroom on his head from the rough impact.

"Your mushroom came off!" Gray teased pointing at the blue cat.

"Who cares about that?" Happy exclaimed waving his arms, "Why didn't anyone stop that thing? How cruel, Natsu! Why didn't you help?"

"Huh?"

"You weren't playing around?" Gray questioned, completely confused.

This made Happy go completely white in shock and before I could apologize to Happy, Ezra spoke, "But this isn't helping. It doesn't matter how hungry we are, we can't eat this."

"I guess that's what we get for trying to eat monsters." Gray said, slipping his hands into his pockets.

"Damn it!" Natsu cursed, "Now that I realize I can't eat it, I'm really getting hungry!"

I hung my head as my stomach growled at me again and hugged it tightly, "Please don't remind me."

Happy let out a scream and everyone looked over to see that a serpent monster was about to attack the poor attack from behind.

"Watch out!" Natsu warned as he landed a fiery punch at the monster.

She saw Ezra pull her sword out and everyone else getting in a fighting stance.

"You disgusting creatures." Gray glared.

"Now I'm angry." Ezra raised her sword.

The first to spring into action was Natsu when he slammed his fists together with flames surrounding them, "I'll blow you all away at once!" He leaped into the air towards the monsters, "Fire Dragon Wing Attack!"

"Ice Wall!" Gray created an ice wall pushing one of the monsters back.

Erza requipped into her steel-winged armored outfit and slashed through multiple monsters with her swords.

"I've Dragon Chainsaw!" I formed an ice made chainsaw, I revved it up and hacked away at multiple monsters.

Lucy pulled out one of her summoning keys, "Gate of the Golden Bull, I open thee! Taurus!"

A bright light shined and a black and white bull appeared with an axe strapped to his back. Taurus had hearts in his eyes as he looked over at Lucy, "Nice body as always, I see!"

"Yeah, whatever." Lucy dismissed and pointed at the monsters, "Get to it."

"Did ya'll forget me?" Taurus spun his axe above his head, "Rampage!" He slammed it to the ground causing it to shake and crack.

Everyone kept attacking, but I noticed that no matter how many they took down, more just kept appearing. Simultaneously we all regrouped together above the chasm as the monsters continued to surround them.

"There's no end to them!" Natsu stated with his fists raised.

The ground began to rumble again and a magic seal appeared on the ground where the monsters were. A light purple glow came from the seal and continued to glow brighter.

"W-What is it now?" Lucy asked fearfully.

"A magic circle?" Gray pointed out confused.

"What's that?!" Natsu exclaimed seeing the large magic circle.

Happy smiled brightly, "Wow, pretty!"

"That's not the issue here!" Lucy pointed at him, "You've been focusing on the weirdest things!"

"This is..." Erza trailed off.

I looked over at the serious mage with a nervous expression, "Erza..."

The monsters slowly began to sink into the magic circle and the rock edge we were standing on, unexpectedly collapsed under them. I screamed along with everyone else as we fell towards the magic circle.

I shut my eyes tightly, not wanting to see my death and that's when something unexpected happened. When I opened my eyes, to see everyone was alive and okay, we were no longer falling, but standing in front of a large crowd of people.

"What did you do?" Natsu glared at the villagers that looked ashamed of their actions.

"We made a magical circle, and a monster appeared." A female villager answered not meeting their gaze, "All of us were Taken Over by it."

"So you were all inside those monsters?" Ezra alluded.

"I ate a little of it!" Lucy gasped in disgust.

A villager with a palm tree spoke up, "When you outsiders entered the village, you activated the magical circle."

"The magic circle is no longer active!" Master Makarov declared standing atop of a rock.

Natsu looked at him confused, "Why, Gramps?"

"Don't sweat the details, my boy!" Master Makarov then pointed at the villagers, "Anyway, you all should just be happy that the Take Over has been undone! If you learn from this harsh lesson and never act in such a reckless manner again, I will refrain from informing the council! What do you say!"

"I never want to experience this again!" The same female villager replied and bowed her head, "I'm sorry."

The villager with a palm tree on his head bowed as well, "We'll never do it again."

With that resolved the we left the villagers and continued their treks back home. Natsu gave me a piggyback, since I was too angry to walk again.
