Chapter 7: Intruderblessed

(Magnolia)

Naruto collapsed onto the grass, breathing heavily after another intense round of training. He glanced at Aquarius, who had shifted into her smaller, floating form, her arms crossed as she hovered beside him. The usual stern look on her face was present, but there was a glimmer of curiosity behind it.

"You've been working harder than usual." She noted, her voice cutting through the peaceful silence of the park. "What's gotten into you?"

Naruto wiped the sweat from his forehead and leaned back on his hands, looking up at the sky. "It's that last mission. With Eisenwald." He said after a moment, his tone quieter than usual. "We stopped them, sure, but... it wasn't enough."

Aquarius tilted her head slightly, floating down to meet his gaze. "Not enough? You all defeated the demon, didn't you? The threat was neutralized and no one got hurt."

Naruto shook his head. "It's not just about beating Lullaby. Natsu, Gray, and Erza... they're all so strong. They can hold their own in any fight. Sure I can keep up, but I feel like I can do more." He clenched his fists, his voice tightening. "Especially now that I have Virgo's key again. I need to get stronger, for her, for you. I need to be at my best to never lose either of you."

Aquarius's gaze softened, though she kept her tone matter-of-fact. "You've already become stronger, Naruto. You're not the same person who lost Virgo's key years ago. You've earned back what was taken from you."

Naruto glanced at the two keys hanging around his neck. Virgo's key still felt foreign to him, as if it represented a past that was hard to reconcile with the present. "Maybe." He muttered. "But I can't shake this feeling. Eisenwald was just the beginning. Who knows what other enemies we'll face? What if I'm not strong enough next time?"

Aquarius floated closer, her usual sharpness giving way to a more thoughtful expression. "You're not alone in this, you know. You have me, and now Virgo. You have your friends. Power isn't just about how strong you are individually. It's about the bonds you make and how you rely on others when it counts."

Naruto was silent for a moment, considering her words. "I know." He said finally. "But even with all of that... I want to push myself further. I want to be able to protect the people I care about. I never want to feel that helpless again, like I did when I lost Virgo."

Aquarius's expression softened further. "Then train, but don't lose yourself in it. Power is important, but so is knowing your limits."

Naruto nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah. I guess that's why I have you, huh? To keep me in check when I start going overboard."

She crossed her arms and gave a playful huff. "Someone has to. You'd probably destroy half the city if I wasn't around to keep you grounded."

Naruto laughed, the tension easing from his shoulders as he stood up again. "Thanks, Aquarius. I'm glad I have you by my side."

Aquarius floated a bit higher, her usual teasing demeanor slipping back into place. "Of course. But don't think I'm going to go easy on you just because you're feeling sentimental. You've still got a lot of work to do."

Naruto twirled the trident once more, his grin widening. "Wouldn't expect anything less."

Aquarius hummed. "Let's finish here and head to the guild. We may have stopped Eisenwald, but that doesn't pay rent."

Naruto and Aquarius strolled through the streets of Magnolia, the late morning sun casting long shadows as they made their way toward the Fairy Tail guild. Aquarius, floating lazily beside him in her smaller form, glanced around at the bustling marketplace as Naruto absentmindedly twirled his two keys in his fingers.

"You know." Aquarius said with a sigh, "I still don't understand why you insist on walking everywhere when you could just use magic to get around faster."

Naruto chuckled, glancing over at her. "Because it gives me time to think. Besides, I like the fresh air, and it's not like we're in a rush."

Aquarius rolled her eyes. "You and your sentimentality."

As they neared the guild, a loud commotion greeted them. A large crowd had gathered outside, all of them shouting, laughing, and exchanging coins. Naruto squinted, recognizing most of the guild members mixed in with Magnolia townspeople. At the center of it all stood Mirajane, looking as cheerful as ever, a bag of money in her hands.

"Sounds like something big is happening," Naruto muttered, glancing at Aquarius.

The Celestial Spirit in her small, floating form shrugged. "With your guild, it's always something."

When they finally reached the guild, they found everyone gathered outside, shouting and exchanging money. At the center of it all was Mirajane, cheerfully handling the betting pool with a smile. Naruto blinked in surprise as he saw Gray, Cana, Loke, Elfman, Jet, Droy, Levy, and even Makarov all involved.

"What's going on here?" Naruto asked, approaching Mirajane, who was scribbling down bets.

Mirajane looked up, her smile widening when she saw Naruto. "Oh, Naruto! You made it just in time. Natsu and Erza are about to fight, and everyone's placing bets on who'll win!"

Naruto sighed, shaking his head with a smirk. "Natsu and Erza? Really? What set this in motion? I thought Natsu was terrified of her."

Cana, holding a barrel of alcohol, laughed. "Same as always. Natsu tried to challenge Erza, and now they're about to go at it."

Gray crossed his arms, already ready to see the showdown. "Yeah, I'm betting on Erza. Natsu's got a history of getting his ass kicked by her."

"Natsu's gonna win this time!" Jet exclaimed, bouncing on his feet with excitement. "I put 500 jewels on him!"

Loke, standing coolly with his arms crossed, added, "I've got my money on Erza. She's the Titania, after all."

Elfman flexed his muscles, grinning. "It's a man's fight! I'm betting on Erza!"

Naruto raised an eyebrow and turned to Mirajane. "And you? Who's your money on?"

Mirajane giggled, flashing her bet sheet. "I'm with the majority. 10,000 jewels on Erza."

Naruto couldn't help but chuckle as the guild continued to banter and place their bets. "You guys really are something. How many times have they fought like this?"

Levy, who was standing with Droy, smiled brightly. "Too many to count, but it's always fun to watch!"

As the crowd grew even more excited, Natsu and Erza finally emerged from the guild hall, both ready to fight. Natsu's fists were already flaming, and Erza, in her usual confident manner, was preparing to shift armors.

"I'll crush you this time, Erza!" Natsu shouted, his eyes blazing with determination.

Erza smirked. "You're welcome to try."

Just as they were about to start the fight, the atmosphere shifted. A group of Rune Knights marched into view, led by a stern-looking officer with the head of a frog. The crowd fell silent as the Rune Knights pushed their way through, stopping right in front of Makarov and the rest of the guild.

Makarov, sitting on a barrel and nursing a drink, blinked up at them. "What's all this about?"

The lead officer stepped forward, his gaze focused on Naruto. "Naruto Starblessed! By the order of the Magic Council, you are under arrest!"

Naruto stared at the officer, stunned. "What? Arrested? For what?"

The officer didn't hesitate. "You are charged with causing widespread destruction during your battle with the Lullaby demon. The council has deemed the damages caused to be unacceptable."

Makarov let out a long sigh, clearly annoyed. "Oh, come on! He stopped a dark guild from unleashing a death curse on the Guild Masters! You should be thanking him!"

The officer, unflinching, replied. "Regardless of the circumstances, the damages incurred were extensive, and the Magic Council has decided that Naruto will face trial for his reckless use of magic."

Gray clenched his fists, stepping forward. "You've got to be kidding me! That was a life-or-death situation! We all were involved and not a single person was injured!"

Cana took a swig from her barrel, her eyes narrowing. "This is such garbage."

Loke shook his head, his cool demeanor faltering. "This is just because you Magic Council idiots hate our guild."

Mirajane's smile faded as she looked at Naruto with concern. "This is really unfair…"

The Rune Knights began to move toward Naruto, who sighed and raised his hands in surrender. "It's okay, guys. I'll go peacefully. We don't need to cause a scene."

Natsu, however, wasn't having it. "Like hell you're taking him!" His fists flared up with fire as he took a step forward. "Come on Naruto me and you can take these guys easy!"

Elfman, ready to jump in, shouted, "You're not taking one of our own! It's not manly to back down!"

But before things could escalate, Erza held out a hand, stopping Natsu and the others. "Enough. We'll handle this the right way."

Naruto glanced at Erza, then back at the Rune Knights. "I'll go with them. We'll figure this out later."

The officer nodded and motioned for his men to place cuffs on Naruto. As they led him away, the entire guild watched in silence, tension thick in the air. Makarov, sitting on his barrel, let out a long groan.

"Well, that's one way to ruin a good fight."

The Rune Knights marched Naruto away, the echoes of their boots fading into the distance as the Fairy Tail guild stood outside, their mood completely deflated.

Jet shook his head. "We should've done something."

Levy sighed. "Yeah… but we'll get him back."

Makarov stood, looking at his guild with a determined expression. "Don't worry, my children. We'll settle this with the council. They won't keep him for long. If anything this little stunt is all for show."

Despite the confident words, a sense of unease lingered among the guild members. Something about this arrest didn't feel right, but for now, all they could do was wait and hope for the best.

(Era)

Naruto stood in the grand chamber of the Magic Council, his wrists bound in glowing magical cuffs. The air was tense, and the weight of the room's authority bore down on him. Towering above him on their raised platforms sat the council members, each gazing down at him with varying degrees of judgment and curiosity.

Ultear Milkovich sat with a casual elegance, her sharp eyes never leaving Naruto. Next to her, Siegrain, with his enigmatic smirk, watched with amusement. On the opposite side, Yajima, the eldest of the council, held a neutral expression, but Naruto could sense an underlying warmth in his gaze. Michello, with his hunched figure, looked irritable as usual, while Org and Chairman Gran Doma maintained stoic, serious expressions.

"Naruto Heartfilia, also known as Naruto Starblessed." Gran Doma's voice boomed through the hall. "You stand here today charged with extensive destruction of property during the incident involving the dark guild Eisenwald and the demon Lullaby."

Naruto clenched his fists but remained silent, his eyes flicking over to Yajima, the only council member who seemed on his side.

Yajima cleared his throat and leaned forward slightly. "Destruction, yes, but this boy and the Fairy Tail wizards prevented a far greater catastrophe. The dark guild's plan was to wipe out the Guild Masters using that cursed flute. If it weren't for Naruto and the others, many lives could have been lost."

Michello sneered, waving his hand dismissively. "Regardless of their intentions, the damage to Clover Town and surrounding areas was severe! Buildings collapsed, civilians were terrified."

"Collateral damage!" Yajima snapped, cutting Michello off. "Something every wizard faces in high-stakes situations. You know this better than anyone."

"Or you're just giving excuses for your old guild!" Michello yelled back.

Siegrain leaned back in his chair, his smirk widening. "The fact remains that the destruction caused is well beyond what was necessary. It's almost as if Fairy Tail lives for chaos. This isn't the first time they've caused a scene. It's also not your first time causing a scene. fitting You found yourself joining them."

Ultear chuckled softly, her gaze finally shifting to Naruto. "Quite the reputation you have, Naruto Starblessed."

Naruto felt his frustration building, but he took a deep breath, keeping his composure. "We stopped Lullaby, and we stopped Eisenwald. If we hadn't fought the way we did, the Guild Masters would be dead right now. Isn't that worth something?"

Org, who had been silent until now, leaned forward, his deep voice rumbling through the room. "No one is doubting your intentions, boy. But the damages speak for themselves. The council cannot ignore that."

Michello, emboldened by Org's words, pressed on. "This reckless behavior can't go unpunished! The law must be upheld!"

Yajima scowled, slamming his hand on the table. "You're all acting like the destruction was intentional! This boy was defending innocent lives and you want to punish him for it? When in reality this situation stems from the inadequate response from the Rune Knights!"

The room fell into a tense silence as Yajima and Michello glared at each other. Gran Doma, the Chairman, finally raised his hand, silencing the brewing argument.

"Enough." Gran Doma said, his voice cutting through the tension. "We acknowledge that Naruto's actions, while reckless, were done with good intentions. However, the destruction caused cannot be overlooked. As a compromise, we will not imprison you, Naruto."

Naruto exhaled in relief, but before he could relax, Gran Doma continued, "However, there will still be consequences. You are a Fairy Tail wizard, and we expect more discipline from you."

Ultear smiled slyly, sensing where this was heading.

"For your punishment, you will take on a special quest for the Magic Council." Gran Doma announced. "We have received reports of dark wizards gathering in a remote town. Your task is to survey the area, identify any dark guild activity, and report back. Should you complete this mission successfully, your charges will be dropped."

Naruto blinked, surprised. "You want me to take on a mission for the Council? A mission to fight a dark guild, which is punishment for me attacking a dark guild?"

"Don't fight." Gran Doma replied, his voice sharp and slightly annoyed. "Simply observe and report back."

Naruto balled his fists. If there was one thing he couldn't do it would be to sit back and not take action. Especially if innocent people needed him.

"I REFUSE!" Naruto declared to a stunned council.

"What!" Michello yelled in rage. "What do you mean you refuse!"

"I mean if I take this mission I want permission to fight back. If people are in danger I will never turn my back!"

Yajima smiled softly. "Now that's the spirit of a Fairy Tail wizard. I'm glad to see your generation is filled with so many great members like yourself. I purpose we grant his request."

Michello grumbled but said nothing more, while Siegrain glanced at Ultear, sharing a silent look with her.

"Fine. You have permission to engage the enemy if needed." Gran Doma announced bitterly, while Naruto took a bow.

"Thank you. I'll gladly accept your mission with that sorted out."

Gran Doma stood, signaling the end of the trial. "You leave for the town tomorrow. A Rune Knight will accompany you with further details. Complete the mission, and we will consider the matter closed. Fail, and the consequences will be far more severe. Understood?"

Naruto nodded firmly. "Understood."

With a final glance from the council, the Rune Knights moved to release the cuffs around Naruto's wrists. As the magical shackles dissolved, he flexed his hands, rubbing his wrists as he looked up at the council one last time.

Yajima gave him a small nod of encouragement. "Keep making Fairy Tail proud Starblessed."

"Of course! And thank you for speaking on my behalf."

"Thank nothing of it my boy. I'd do anything for Fairy Tail. Especially when this sham of a trail was just to cover up the Rune Knights failure in Clover Town. So go do what you do best and save some more lives."

"I plan on it."

With that, Naruto turned and walked out of the council chamber, his mind racing with the new challenge ahead. He was relieved that he wasn't being thrown in a cell, but now he had to prove himself again. Not just for Fairy Tail, but for his own future.

As Naruto walked out of the Magic Council headquarters, the weight of the mission they'd assigned him still fresh in his mind, he sighed heavily. The sky above was clear, but his thoughts were anything but. His punishment for the destruction during the Lullaby incident was more than fair, considering what had happened, but he couldn't help but feel like he was being watched constantly by the Council.

Reaching into his pouch, he pulled out a small lacrima communicator. He held it up to his face, activating the magic embedded within it. "Better let Master know what's going on." He muttered.

The lacrima shimmered, and a moment later, Makarov's face appeared, sitting at a cluttered desk in the Fairy Tail guild hall.

"Naruto!" Makarov's voice boomed from the lacrima. "About time you checked in. What's the Council's verdict on your arrest, boy?"

Naruto scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Well, Master, they've decided not to throw me in jail." He paused for a moment. "But, instead, I've been assigned to take a mission for the Council as a form of punishment. It's a solo job. Surveying a town with dark wizard activity. I also have permission to engage them if needed. Yajima really helped fight for my side during the trial."

Makarov stroked his chin thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing slightly. "A mission from the Council, eh? Not exactly typical punishment, but I suppose it could've been worse. Good thing Yajima was there to stick up for you. I trust you'll handle it."

Naruto nodded firmly. "Yeah, I won't let the guild down. I'll get this done."

Makarov's expression softened as he leaned back in his chair. "I know you will. But be careful, Naruto. The Council is keeping an eye on Fairy Tail, especially after the Lullaby incident. They're not going to go easy on any of us if we step out of line again."

Naruto frowned. "I get it. I'll be extra careful."

Makarov chuckled. "Good, good. Now, while you're out there handling the Council's dirty work, I've got my own mess to clean up here. Natsu, the hotheaded fool, went and stole an S-Class mission."

Naruto's eyes widened. "Wait, Natsu stole an S-Class mission? Isn't that… incredibly dangerous?"

"Of course it is!" Makarov grumbled, rubbing his temples. "Which is why I sent Erza and Gray after him to bring him back before he gets himself killed. That boy just can't help himself when it comes to trouble."

Naruto couldn't help but grin, imagining Natsu charging into danger headfirst. "Yeah, that sounds like him. I'm sure Erza and Gray will set him straight, though."

Makarov sighed, though a small smile tugged at his lips. "One can only hope. In the meantime, you focus on your mission. Don't let your guard down for a second. Dark guilds are ruthless, especially when they're backed into a corner."

Naruto nodded, gripping the lacrima tightly. "I understand, Master. I'll handle it."

The lacrima flickered slightly as Makarov's voice came through one last time. "Good luck, Naruto. And remember! You're a Fairy Tail wizard. Never forget that."

With a final nod, Naruto ended the communication, tucking the lacrima back into his pouch. Taking a deep breath, he looked out at the horizon, the weight of his task settling in.

"Time to prove myself again," he muttered, turning on his heel and heading toward the town where his mission awaited him.

(Windmill Village)

Naruto and Aquarius walked into the town just as the sun began to dip behind the distant hills. The town, though not large, was bustling with activity, but there was a palpable tension in the air. It wasn't hard to see that something was off. Shops were closing earlier than usual, and people moved quickly as if trying to avoid trouble.

"There's a heavy atmosphere here." Aquarius remarked, hovering beside Naruto in her small form. "Something's definitely wrong."

"Yeah, let's go talk to the mayor. The Rune Knight who gave the mission details said he'd have more information." Naruto said, his voice steady as he scanned the streets.

They made their way through the town, finally reaching the mayor's office at the center. The building itself was a little run-down, and Naruto couldn't help but notice the tired look on the few guards standing at the entrance. They greeted him with wary glances but allowed him to pass after a brief explanation.

Inside, the mayor, an older man with graying hair and a lined face, sat at a large wooden desk covered in paperwork. His eyes were sunken with stress, and his fingers trembled slightly as he shuffled through reports. He looked up as Naruto entered, a glimmer of hope lighting in his weary gaze.

"You must be Naruto Starblessed, the wizard the Council sent." The mayor said, his voice tired but grateful. "Thank you for coming."

Naruto gave a small bow of his head. "That's right. I heard you've been having some trouble with dark wizards."

The mayor sighed heavily and gestured for Naruto to sit. "Yes, it's been terrible. They made base outside the town outskirts. They have been causing trouble for months. And just recently…" His voice caught, and he clenched his hands on the desk. "Just recently, they stole something precious from us. Our prize Gate Key."

Naruto's eyes widened. "A Gate Key? Which one?"

"The Gate of the Scales… Libra." The mayor said gravely. "We've kept it safe for generations. It was our town's pride, a symbol of protection. But a dark guild came through. They attacked in the middle of the night and took it."

"Those bastards." Naruto growled, his eyes flickering with rage. He knew more than anyone the pain of a stolen key.

"That's not all." The mayor continued, his voice dropping lower. "One of the orphans, a young girl named Yukino, overheard everything. She's been in and out of the orphanage, but she always had a fascination with magic. She must've thought she could stop them, so… she ran off. We've sent a few people to search for her, but no one's come back."

Naruto clenched his fists. "Yukino… a child went to face a dark guild by herself?"

The mayor nodded, his expression filled with guilt and fear. "She might be a child, but she is also a Celestial Wizard. Still she isn't exactly qualified to take on a dark guild by herself."

Naruto shared a brief glance with Aquarius, who had been quietly listening. Her eyes flickered with concern, though she said nothing at first.

Naruto took a deep breath and stood. "We'll bring her back, I promise."

The mayor's eyes widened, and he stood, a look of relief crossing his face. "You… you would do that? Thank you! Please, whatever it takes. Just bring Yukino back safe."

Naruto nodded firmly. "We'll find her and recover your Gate Key. I'm sure of it."

Aquarius floated closer to Naruto as they exited the mayor's office and headed toward the outskirts of town. "This isn't going to be easy, Naruto. A dark guild taking children and stealing Gate Keys? They might be stronger than we expect."

"It's nothing we haven't handled before." Naruto said, his eyes focused. "As long as we work together we will be fine."

As they walked out of the town, Naruto paused for a moment, scanning the distant forest. "Aquarius, I can count on you for this one?"

Aquarius crossed her arms, a soft smile appearing on her face. "Of course, you idiot. When have I ever let you go into battle alone?"

Naruto chuckled. "Never."

With that, they continued toward the forest where the dark guild was rumored to hide, determined to bring Yukino home and recover the stolen Gate Key.

Naruto crept through the shadows of the dark guild's hideout, his heart pounding in his chest. The building loomed ominously in the dim light, an old stone structure that seemed to breathe malice. Aquarius floated beside him, her form shimmering faintly to avoid detection.

"Stay alert, Naruto." She whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "We don't know how many are in here or how powerful they might be."

"I know." He replied softly, his eyes scanning the dimly lit corridors. "But we need to find Yukino."

As they moved deeper into the guild, the stench of sweat and dampness filled the air, mixing with a lingering trace of magic. They navigated through hallways adorned with crude markings and the distant sounds of laughter and shouting echoed off the walls.

Finally, they approached a heavy wooden door at the end of a long corridor. Naruto pressed his ear against it, straining to listen. Inside, he heard muffled voices, and his instincts told him that Yukino was beyond this door.

He pushed it open carefully, revealing a dank dungeon filled with dark stone walls and flickering torches. In the center of the room, huddled against the wall, was a small figure Yukino. She was dirty and bruised, but her eyes burned with determination despite her circumstances.

"Yukino!" Naruto called softly as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him.

Her head snapped up, and she looked at Naruto with frightened watery eyes. "Who are you?"

Naruto lowered himself down onto one knee. "I'm Naruto Heartfilia. I'm a wizard from Fairy Tail." His eyes glanced up to Aquarius who was floating between the two. "Me and my spirit Aquarius have come to rescue you."

Aquarius zipped around to hover beside Naruto. "Are you okay?" She asked, concern etched into her features.

"No." Yukino stammered, wiping her eyes. "I tried to get the Gate Key back, but they caught me and they took Sagittarius from me."

Naruto knelt beside her, his expression earnest. "Explain everything. Why did you come here?"

Yukino looked down, her voice trembling. "After my parents died and my sister disappeared. I was left with my spirit Sagittarius. The townspeople took care of me these last few years and have been really nice. Then these dark wizards came and stole the towns Gate Key. So I came here to get it back."

Aquarius crossed her arms, a hint of sympathy in her eyes. "You wanted to repay their kindness by getting the key back."

Yukino nodded, tears welling up. "Yes! But when I overheard them talking about the Gate Key, I thought I could help. I wanted to prove that I could do something! Anything, because I was tired of being helpless. But they… they were too strong. I thought I could be brave, but I lost Sagittarius."

Naruto's heart ached at her words. She was just like him in so many ways that he wanted nothing more than to help her.

"You're so brave, Yukino. You did what you thought was right. But you don't have to fight these battles alone. We're here to help you."

Yukino looked up, her eyes wide. "You really came for me?"

"Of course." Naruto said, determination flooding his voice. "We're going to get you out of here, and we'll get both the keys those bastards took."

Aquarius nodded, her expression softening. "Let's get out of here before anyone notices."

But before they could make their escape, the door burst open, and a burly dark wizard stepped inside, grinning wickedly. "Well, well, what do we have here? A little mouse and her heroes? You thought you could sneak in here and take our prize?"

Naruto's resolve hardened as he stood up, ready to defend Yukino. "You're going to regret the choices you've made. Taking advantage of innocent people and stealing from a little girl." He said, his fists clenching.

The dark wizard laughed, raising a hand. "You'll pay for this intrusion!"

Just then, as tension filled the air, the sound of footsteps echoed down the hall. More members of the dark guild were coming. Naruto glanced at Yukino and Aquarius, determination blazing in his eyes. "Yukino you just stay right there for a second okay."

"But what about you!" Yukino asked nervously.

Naruto grinned and Aquarius zipped into his hand in her trident form. "Don't worry about me!" The older Celestial Spirit wizard began as his body blurred in speed. His foot crashing into the dark wizard barring his path with a powerful kick. Sending the man flying off his feet and embedding him into the stone wall behind. "But I'd say a little prayer for these dark wizards."

Yukino looked at Naruto in awe. Amazed at the boy's ability that easily surpassed her own. "You're so cool!"

Naruto grinned and held out Virgo's key. "Open Gate of the Maiden Virgo!"

With a glow of light Virgo held a hand to her chest and took a bow. "What can I do for you today Master?"

"Keep Yukino safe for me." Naruto explained as he pointed to the small girl with white hair. "Me and Aquarius are going to let loose for a little bit."

"Of course Master!" Virgo replied as she bent down and scooped Yukino into her arms. "We will stay close behind you and Aquarius master!"

Naruto nodded and stepped out of the cell, finding several dark wizards already bounding towards him.

Naruto stood tall, spinning Aquarius around his shoulder to swap his stance, her magic radiating a faint, powerful glow. The dark wizards approached, their sinister grins showing they thought him to be an easy target. They were wrong.

"Let's show these jerks where I got my name from." Naruto began, tightening his grip on Aquarius.

Naruto shot forward with blinding speed, closing the distance between him and the dark wizards before they had a chance to react. Swinging Aquarius with precision, a torrent of water burst forth, knocking two of the dark wizards off their feet and sending them crashing into the walls with tremendous force.

"Celestial Water Spiral!" Naruto called out, slamming the trident into the ground. A massive whirlpool of water erupted from beneath the floor, swirling around the remaining dark wizards, trapping them in its powerful current.

Twirling Aquarius, Naruto controlled the water and threw the captured dark wizards into the stone wall. Blasting through to the opposite side where a large open area of the base rested. Finding more dark wizards pointing and shouting at him.

With a single motion, Naruto launched himself into the air, propelled by Aquarius's magic. Flying over the dark wizard's head, Naruto used the elevated position to survey the area, quickly identifying where the most dangerous enemies were standing.

"Time to pick them off from the above." Naruto muttered as he dove downward, spinning his trident and releasing wave after wave of water. Each strike sent powerful bursts toward the dark wizards below, sweeping them off their feet and incapacitating them.

From the ground, Virgo and Yukino watched in awe. Virgo, holding Yukino protectively, couldn't help but smile at Naruto's swift and precise movements. Yukino, meanwhile, stared wide-eyed as Naruto effortlessly dispatched the dark guild members.

"He's... incredible!" Yukino whispered, gripping Virgo's sleeve. "I've never seen anyone fight like that."

"Master Naruto is indeed a remarkable wizard." Virgo said softly. "He fights with strength, but also with compassion. That's why the spirits respond to him so well."

"I wanna be a Celestial Wizard like him!" Yukino declared to a giddy Virgo. Who was overjoyed to see her master displaying such growth from the boy she remembered.

As Naruto took out another group of wizards with a well-aimed slash of Aquarius's trident, the leader of the dark guild finally emerged from the shadows. He was a tall, imposing figure, and in his hands, he held both Gate Keys. Sagittarius and Libra.

"Well, look at what we have here!" The leader sneered. "You think you can just waltz in here and take back what's ours?"

Naruto landed gracefully on the ground, standing between the leader and Virgo, who was still guarding Yukino. "I'm not here to ask nicely." Naruto said coldly, his glowing eyes narrowing. "I have a certain rage for pieces of shit who steal Gate Keys."

The dark guild leader laughed, his magic flaring up. "We'll see about that, boy! You don't know who you're dealing with."

But Naruto was already on the move, darting forward with Aquarius ready to strike. The leader swung a magic-infused blade at Naruto, but Naruto dodged with ease, the water from Aquarius spiraling around him to block the attack.

With a swift motion, Naruto jabbed the trident forward, summoning a massive wave that crashed into the leader, knocking him off balance. The leader growled and tried to counter with a dark magic blast, but Naruto was too fast. He leaped into the air, spinning his trident, and sent another torrent of water crashing down on the leader, overpowering him completely.

The dark guild leader staggered backward, his grip on the Gate Keys loosening. Seizing the opportunity, Naruto dashed forward and knocked the keys from his hand with a well-placed kick. They clattered to the ground at his feet.

Naruto quickly picked them up, his grip firm. He held them up, glancing back at Yukino with a grin. Tossing Sagittarius back in her direction. "I believe this belongs to you!"

Yukino's eyes lit up with hope as she rushed forward, still under Virgo's protection. "You got him back!" She cried, her voice full of gratitude. "Thank you, Naruto!"

Naruto smiled warmly at her, watching as she held Sagittarius's key close to her heart. "You were brave to come here, Yukino. You'll make a great Celestial Spirit wizard one day."

"You fucking bastard!" The dark wizard roared with spit flying from his mouth. A ball of dark magic flying from his hand and traveling straight for Naruto.

"I'm surprised." Naruto began as he effortlessly swatted the attack away with Aquarius. His eyes piercing through the stunned wizard. "I'm surprised you'd actually think you could beat me with that loser shit."

Dashing forward, Naruto appeared before the dark wizard with Aquarius pointed directly at his chest. A powerful torrent of water blasting outward and sending the last dark wizard flying unconscious.

Proud of his work and seeing the dark guild in shambles, Naruto turned to Aquarius, who shimmered once more in her smaller form. "We did it."

Aquarius nodded. "Was there ever any doubt Starblessed?"

Naruto looked down at Yukino, who was clutching her key tightly. "I guess you're right, but let's get Yukino back to the village."

Tears welled up in her eyes as she hugged her key. "I won't forget this. Thank you, Naruto."

"Virgo before you dismiss, could you tie these idiots up for the Rune Knights?"

Virgo bowed. "It would be my pleasure master."

With the dark guild defeated and both Gate Keys reclaimed, Naruto knew his mission wasn't quite over yet. But for now, he had done what he set out to do. Rescue Yukino and protect the town. A feat with zero damage done to the town, which made Naruto grin and look at Aquarius. Both thinking the same thing. 'Suck it stupid council.'

(Windmill Village)

Naruto walked through the gates of the village, the sun setting behind him, casting a warm, orange glow over the town. By his side was Yukino, clutching the key of Sagittarius tightly to her chest, her eyes filled with gratitude and relief. Aquarius, still in her smaller form, floated nearby.

The moment they entered the village square, people began to notice them, murmurs spreading through the crowd. Soon, the mayor hurried forward to greet them, his eyes lighting up when he saw Yukino safe and sound.

"Yukino! You're alright!" The mayor's voice was filled with genuine relief as he knelt down and placed his hands on her shoulders. "We were so worried when we heard you'd gone after the dark guild."

Yukino smiled weakly, looking up at him. "I'm sorry, Mayor. I just wanted to help. But Naruto saved me."

Naruto scratched the back of his head, feeling a little awkward with all the attention. "It wasn't a big deal at all. I was happy to help."

The mayor stood up, his face beaming as he turned to Naruto. "You've done us a great service, young man. We owe you a debt of gratitude. Not only did you rescue Yukino, but you defeated that dark guild and returned our prized Gate Key, Libra." He then held his hand up the moment Naruto held the key out for him to take. "No, keep Libra. It's time she finds a wizard and I can't think of a more worthy individual."

Naruto's eyes widened slightly. He had held onto Libra during the fight, but now seeing it offered to him officially was different. "Mayor... this belongs to the village." He said, though there was a hesitant tone in his voice. The power of the key was undeniable, but he didn't want to take something so valuable from them. After all, Naruto knew the importance of a key's bond to its rightful owner.

The mayor shook his head, stepping forward and closing the key in Naruto's hands. "No, this belongs to you now. You've more than earned it. Libra is a powerful Celestial Spirit, and we trust it will do more good in your hands than sitting idle here. We believe in you, Naruto Heartfilia. Take this as a token of our thanks."

Naruto looked down at the key in his hand, feeling the weight of responsibility. He glanced over at Aquarius, who gave him a slight nod of approval. "Thank you, Mayor. I'll use Libra wisely."

Yukino tugged on Naruto's sleeve, her eyes sparkling. "I'm so happy you got Libra. You're so strong and kind. I'm gonna do my best to be just like you one day."

Naruto smiled softly and ruffled her hair. "You're strong too, Yukino. Sagittarius will be by your side, and I'm sure you'll grow to be an incredible Celestial Spirit Wizard."

The villagers gathered around, cheering for Naruto and Yukino's return. Naruto felt a surge of warmth wash over him, realizing how much this meant to them. He had helped protect these people, and now he held another key that could aid him in future battles.

As the crowd began to disperse, the mayor took Naruto aside. "I'll report back to the Magic Council about your success."

Naruto nodded. "You have my thanks."

The mayor chuckled. "Just know you may have a new member knocking on your door when she's ready."

Naruto looked over to Yukino happily, cleaning her key with a smile."Well when she is ready Fairy Tail would welcome her."

As the day came to an end, Naruto stood at the edge of the village, looking out over the horizon. He had gained a powerful new spirit in Libra, but more than that, he had gained trust, both from Yukino and the villagers. His journey was far from over, but with his spirits by his side, he felt more confident than ever.

"Let's head back to Fairy Tail." He said, turning to Aquarius. "We've got a lot of stories to share."

The Celestial Spirit nodded, and together, they began their journey back to Magnolia, the golden key of Libra safely tucked into Naruto's pocket.

(Magnolia)

Naruto stepped into his small apartment, the familiar scent of home easing some of the tension from his shoulders. The quietness of the room felt like a stark contrast to the chaos of his recent mission, but that silence was comforting. He set his travel bag by the door and stretched, his muscles aching from days of fighting and traveling.

As he walked into the living room, he pulled the golden Gate Key of Libra from his pocket and held it up to the light. The weight of his new responsibility felt both exhilarating and daunting. His other two keys, Virgo and Aquarius, clinked softly around his neck as he moved, the small symbols of his Celestial Spirit bonds reflecting the light.

"Three keys now." He mused, running his thumb over the intricate design of Libra. "I'm getting stronger, but I've got a long way to go."

His mind drifted to Yukino, remembering the look of hope and gratitude in her eyes after he returned her key. He had saved her, defeated the dark guild, and earned the villagers' trust. But with each victory came the understanding that there was always more to be done. More power to gain, more people to protect.

Naruto sighed and placed the keys gently on the counter, deciding he needed a break. The exhaustion of the journey was catching up to him, and all he wanted now was a hot shower to wash away the grime of battle.

He pulled his shirt over his head, revealing the toned muscles beneath, evidence of his countless hours of training and fighting. He stretched once more, feeling the tension ease a little more as he made his way to the bathroom.

When he pushed open the door, he froze in his tracks.

Sitting casually in his bathtub, her arms resting on the edge as if she'd been there for hours, was a green-haired woman. Her emerald eyes gleamed with amusement, and her lips curled into a small, knowing smile.

Naruto blinked, his brain struggling to catch up with what his eyes were seeing. "W-Who the hell are you?" He stammered, instinctively reaching for his keys as his mind raced. Yet he remembered he didn't have his keys with him. They were all left in the other room.

The woman didn't move. She simply gazed at him, completely unbothered by his reaction. "I was wondering if you'd ever show up." She said in a smooth, almost lazy tone, as if they were old acquaintances.

Naruto blinked again, still rooted to the spot, his brain not comprehending how this stranger had managed to get into his apartment. Let alone why she was in his bathtub naked. "Wait... what?"

The woman stretched slightly, making herself even more comfortable. "Naruto Heartfilia." She continued, her tone calm. "Child of Layla Heartfilia."

Naruto's confusion only deepened. "You know my name and my Mom? Who are you? And how did you get in here?"

The green-haired woman raised an eyebrow, almost as if she were amused by his panic. "I go by Brandish. And as for how I got in…" She glanced around lazily. "Let's just say getting into places isn't exactly hard for someone like me."

Naruto narrowed his eyes, trying to gauge her intentions. He had no idea who this woman was or what she wanted, but she was clearly powerful if she had slipped into his apartment unnoticed. "Why are you here?"

Brandish smirked, her gaze locking with his. "Well let's talk about that. Come hop in the tub with me."

"Huh?" Naruto asked, feeling more and more out of his depth with each passing moment. "What kinda pervert are you?"

Brandish stood up slowly, water trickling off her as she stepped out of the tub. Naruto, seeing the woman fully naked, placed his hands to his eyes. Yet Brandish looked annoyed by Naruto having his fingers spread enough for his eyes to peek.

"Don't try to act modest then go for a full look."

"Well don't sneak into peoples houses naked!"

Brandish took a step forward, inching closer to Naruto as she moved. This made Naruto slightly step back and hit the wall. Cursing to himself as he might need to call out for Aquarius. Their bond was strong enough for him to summon her from proximity.

Yet he froze the moment Brandish pressed her naked torso against his own. Feeling the warmth of the beautiful, but strange girl. Her bright emerald eyes gazing into his curealan blue with a mesmerizing look.

Naruto feeling emotions completely new to him could feel his heart pounding. And oddly enough. He could feel her heart beating just as fast.

"Well if you wish to know why I'm here." Brandish began, her voice dangerously low.

Naruto, distracted by the girl's beauty, had his guard lowered. To the point he was shocked by the searing pain felt in his stomach. Glancing downward to find a dagger sticking into his flesh and dripping with blood. His blood.

"It's to avenge my mother by killing the child of her killer." Brandish pushed the dagger slightly deeper into Naruto. Making the blond grit his teeth. "Get it now? Your mother killed mine! And now you're going to pay."

(Chapter End)

And another chapter down! What do you think? Let me know!

Also a few things I want to mention.

I skipped the Galuna Island arc. It happens the same way just minus Naruto being involved. except I moved Sagittarius. Instead of him being a reward for the quest he's now a spirit belonging to Yukino.

I did this because I wanted Naruto to have Libra, as Naruto is gonna get certain powers from different spirits. Some which more mimic his normal abilities from his original series.

Also I should mention ages to keep everyone up to speed.

Naruto and Brandish are 16 currently and Yukino is 10. Everyone else is their usual cannon age.
