Academy Tour
Mysterious void,
Kai is seen in some weird void covered in darkness.
"Hello, what is this place?" Kai asked."
He was suddenly approached by a mysterious little girl holding a Numemon plushie
"Who are you?" Kai asked."
"You must defeat the evil unleashed," the girl replied before walking away."
(Running after her) "Wait, what evil? what do you mean?!" Kai yelled."
A light engulfs Kai and he wakes up as his alarm goes off. he was sweating and breathing hard.
"What was that?" Kai asked."
"Kai breakfast," Kai's mom said."
"Ok mom," Kai said."
He goes in the kitchen and eats his breakfast. His mom notices his expression.
"Something wrong Kai, are you nervous?" Kai's mom asked."
"Huh, oh yeah, just nervous," Kai replied." (thinking) 'Best to keep that dream to myself for now.'
"Perfectly normal. now, after breakfast get packing because your bus will be here soon," Kai's mom said."
After getting dressed, Kai packs his things then sees his now digivice formally known as his Vpet with an egg on it.
'Huh, a digiegg?' Kai thought.'
"Kai, are you all set?" Kai's mom asked."
"Yeah," Kai replied."
After packing his suitcase and grabs his digivice and heads to the bus stop. At the bus stop, Kai met up with other kids who were waiting as well.
"You guys got the same letter too?" Kai asked."
"Yeah, it's crazy, first the incident 3 weeks ago and now this," a boy replied."
"Kai, I'm here," Crystal said."
Kai turns around and sees Crystal with a lot of suitcases.
"Jeez Crystal, did you pack the kitchen sink?" Kai asked."
"No, I packed the essentials," Crystal replied."
Kai gives her a deadpan look.
"Ok, they're mostly my shoes," Crystal said."
"Thought so," Kai said."
Soon the bus arrived.
"Here's are ride," Kai said."
They enter the bus and take their seats. As the bus drives, Kai was listening to his music. He then sees the bus head towards a tunnel, as it goes through, everyone sees lots of digital streams.
"Whoa," Kai said."
The bus exits the portal, and the kids sees a city and a castle like school.
"So pretty," Crystal said."
The bus parks with the other buses and a Leomon was coming up as the students get off the buses.
"This way students," Leomon said." first years follow me to the main hall."
"A Leomon, no way," Kai said."
All the children follow Leomon into the building and enter the main hall where they see a feast.
"Awesome," Kai said."
All the children sat at the tables and started eating. as they eat a bell was heard getting everyone's attention as two people and their Digimon appeared.
Greetings students, welcome to digital academy, my name is Julia, and this is my Digimon partner Choasgalletmon," Julia said."
"And I'm Glare and this is my partner Ophanimon," Glare said." we are the deans of the academy."
All the first-year students were amazed.
"You're probably wondering why your here," Choasgalletmon said." the reason is that many of you have witnessed a digimon battle and your Vpets turned into digivices."
"It means you were chosen to be Digimon tamers to help protect both the digital world and the human world," Ophanimon said."
"Thus, we sent letters to those chosen," Glare said."
"So, we're like the chosen one?" Kai asked."
"Yes, and not only will you attend classes, but you'll be going on missions throughout the digital world," Julia replied."
"Interesting," Kai said."
"Now then, you'll be sorted to two dorms on the left is Light Fang and on the right is night fang," Julia said." once your digivice is scanned it'll change the color orange for light fang or purple for night crow.
"The first will be Kai," Glare said."
Feeling nervous, Kai walks up to the scanner and places his digivice on it. after a minute, his digivice turns orange.
"Looks like you're in light fang," Glare said." welcome."
The students clap for him.
"Next up is Crystal," Julia said."
Crystal walks up to the scanner and places her digivice in it. its color turns orange becoming part of light fang.
"Yes," Crystal said."
Later on, after all the first years got sorted,
"Now then, it's time for the tour of the academy," Glare said."
An upper classman starts showing the first years around.
"As you know, we were just in the cafeteria," the upper classman said." now follow me."
They head to the first room, it showed Digibeetles being tuned up.
"These are digibeetles, they'll be used for your missions and classes," the upper classman said."
The next room was a weapons room.
"These weapons are for us to fight side by side with our Digimon," the upper classman said."
"Are they dangerous?" a student asked."
"Don't worry, they won't hurt us humans or kill Digimon," the upper classman replied." besides, Digimon never really die, they get reborn."
The tour continued with seeing the science, math, gym, history, mechanic classes, Digimon egg caring, cooking class, and a stadium.
"Lastly, this is the tournament area, it'll show how much you how much you improved and graduate to an upper rank tamer," the upper classman said."
"Wow," Kai said."
Lastly, there was a wall with two arrows, one pointing left and the other pointing right.
"On the left is the dorms for light fang and on the right is the dorms for light fang," the upper classman said." your dorm room numbers are on your suitcases, get settled in and see you tomorrow."
All the students enter their dorms and meet their roommates.
"Hi, I'm Koh," Koh said."
"Nice to meet you," Kai said."
"First time away from home?" Koh asked."
"Yup," Kai replied."
"Five minutes until lights out," a Angemon said."
Kai goes to bed.
"I wonder what our first class and mission is going to be tomorrow," Kai said as he sleeps."
His digivice glows again showing the digiegg cracking.
