XXV. "Cocky little runt."

- (Neverland. Present) -

David, Emma, Killian, Regina, Cora, and Mary Margaret trek through the woods, searching for Henry. They walk in a single file, Mary Margaret leading the way. "Hey, need a break?" David asks his wife, panting because of the Dreamshade's effect as the poison spreads.

"No, I'm good," Mary Margaret assures him.

"In this heat, you shouldn't overtax yourself," he reminds her.

"Oh, so you need a break," she jokes.

"No, I'm good," Charming repeats, smiling weakly.

"'David Nolan' let himself go," Snow remarks.

"Does he look like he'd let himself go?" David questions.

"How much further?" Regina asks, looking around, and Emma takes a look at the man.

"We should be getting close to Pan's lair," Emma assures her, and they catch up with David and Mary Margret. "Going in a straight line course…" She looks at the map and frowns. "Son of a bitch! How is it now behind us?"

"How can that be?" Mary Margaret asks, looking at the map.

"You got us lost," Regina snaps, glaring at the blond woman.

"No, she didn't," Killian defends Emma, holding a lamp. "It's the camp. Pan's moving it."

" He's playing tricks with us," David grumbles.

"If Pan's camp keeps moving, how are we ever gonna find Henry?" Emma wonders, looking at the others for help.

(BEWITCHING)

Henry is sleeping under a tree in Pan's camp when someone rooster cries from behind, waking everyone up. "Wake up," Peter says, looking at Henry. "Catch." He throws an apple towards Henry.

"I don't like apples," Henry tells him, sitting up.

"Who doesn't like apples?" He questions.

"It's a family thing," the Mills boy replies.

"Well, don't worry," Pan assures him, smiling and crouching down to eye level with Henry. "They're not for eating. It's for a kind of game. A really fun game." He pulls out a crossbow. "I call it target practice."

Neal looks for something in the wardrobe at the Dark Castle to find a way to travel to Neverland as Robin and Mulan watch him. "You found the crystal ball. What else are you looking for?" Mulan asks the frantic man.

"It showed us where Emma is, not how to get to her," Landon argues, looking through some of Rumpelstiltskin's books while Neal looks through the artefacts.

"Um, not sure you can find a horse in there, mate," Robin remarks.

"We don't need a horse. We need a portal. A way to create a portal," he replies, sighing.

"Why don't you calm down and tell me what the problem is? Perhaps I can assist," Hood offers.

"Henry is trapped in Neverland with Peter Pan who's hands-down the nastiest person I've ever met," Neal informs them, looking at his new friends.

"I saw Emma in this ball, not Henry," Mulan argues, confused.

"Listen, I was in Neverland. Pan was looking for a boy. A specific boy. I know he had some picture of him on a scroll. He called him the truest believer," he explains.

"And you believe that to be Henry?" She asks him.

"It has to be. That's the only reason Emma would be in Neverland," Landon tells her. "Help us look. Lots of things make portals. Beans. Magic Mirrors. Ruby slippers. Some kind of ashes." Neal stops, startled by a noise, as Little John and two Merry Men enter the room.

"What the hell was that?" Little John questions.

"Stand down, Little John. We're fine," Robin assures his companions. A young boy peeks out from behind the Merry Men before approaching Robin Hood, who scoops the boy into his arms.

"Who's this?" Neal asks, smiling at the young boy.

"Merry Men come in all sizes. This is my son, Roland," he introduces the boy.

"I know how to get to Neverland. I know how to get to Henry," Baelfire announces, looking at the others.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

"So, this whole trek has been for nothing?" Emma groans, feeling disappointed at the new development.

"I told you walking was idiotic. If I can just use some magic, we can materialise in the camp and grab Henry," Regina snaps, feeling hopeless.

"We don't know where the camp is. Have you even been listening?" Mary Margaret asks, looking at the dark-haired woman.

"Pan will have shields against magic, I fear," Killian warns them. "Such an attempt would end in your death, and more importantly, mine, which is why we're walking."

"Well then, what's your idea? How are we going to find it?" Regina questions sharply.

"By using someone he trusts," he replies, smirking.

"Who? Because I guess he certainly doesn't trust you," David retorts, looking at the pirate.

"A fairy who lived here when I was about. She might still be on the island. She'd be an inside source, knows all about the camp, can get us in. She might even have some pixie dust left. Perhaps we could fly in," Hook explains.

"You mean fairy dust," Emma corrects him, frowning.

"No, pixie dust. It's stronger. Like nuclear fairy dust," David tells her.

"Wait. A fairy? Tinker Bell?" She questions, looking at them.

"Do you know her?" Killian asks, frowning.

"Every kid in the world knows her," the blond woman argues, shrugging.

"That's a bad idea. Mark my words. This Tinker Bell is not going to save us," Regina snaps, having a history with the green pixie. Cora notices the look on her daughter's face and wonders what's wrong, though she wishes Landon was here with them, too, as it was easier to talk with her son than her daughter, but she promises to try harder with Regina from now on.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

Regina ate her supper alone in the castle after marrying King Leopold when Rumpelstiltskin magically appeared, sitting opposite Regina at the table's far side. "I thought you were dead," the Dark One commented.

"Go away," Regina snapped, flinching slightly.

"When you didn't show up for your lessons today, I assumed you went toes up. And yet, here you are," Rumpelstiltskin remarked, standing up and looking at the food on the table. "Roast swan." He giggled. "That's amusing." Regina looked at him, confused, but he dismissed her. "You'll get that later."

"I'm not sure about these lessons anymore," she told him. "I don't want to have a future that looks like-."

"Like what?" He asked her.

"Like you," the Queen replied.

"Feeling a little persecuted, are we, Your Majesty?" The Dark One mused.

"Why shouldn't I?" Regina argued. "I'm the Queen, but practically a prisoner. With a husband whose heart is still with his dead wife and his insipid daughter. It's intolerable. Nothing to do and nowhere to go." She sighed. "I need freedom. I need options." She stood up, walking away from the table.

"Ah, can't be done. You see, this is how it is. You think you're the diner at the feast, tasting the offerings. A little love. A little darkness. What you don't realise is, you are the feast. And the darkness has tasted you," Rumpelstiltskin warned her.

"You're vile. Leave my home," she ordered, glaring at him.

"The darkness likes how you taste, dearie. It doesn't mind the bitterness. And now that it started the meal, it's gonna finish it. You can no more fly from your fate that can that -," he told her, gesturing to the roasted swan on the table he noticed earlier, "-swan. See you tomorrow. Don't be late. Oh, and bring that simmering rage. It's all you have." He quickly left Regina.

(BEWITCHING)

Regina was alone as she walked through her chambers and stopped to look down into the castle's courtyard. She forcefully slammed against the iron parapet on the balcony. "I just need-," Regina sobbed when suddenly, the parapet broke, making her lose her balance. She screamed, falling towards the ground when a cloud of green fairy dust appeared underneath Regina, ceasing her falls and suspending her in mid-air. "Put me down. What are you doing?"

"Giving you a second chance," Tinker Bell replied, using her wand and lifting Regina up again.

"Who are you?" She asked the Fairy.

"I'm Tinker Bell," the Fairy introduced herself, smiling friendly at the Queen.

(BEWITCHING)

Some rode past a tavern with Tinker Bell and Regina sharing a drink at a table outside. "Snow White, that's her name?" Tinker Bell questioned. "Even I think that's a bit precious and mind, mine is Tinker Bell."

"She's a monster. Totally indulgent and adored. She sort of ricochets through life telling people's secrets. She had my fiance killed," Regina told her.

"No," she gasped, shocked.

"The only way I can get through it is when she and the King are gone all the time," the Queen replied.

"You're glad your husband is gone?" The Fairy questioned.

"It's not a marriage. It's a farce. I may be the Queen -," Regina leaned closer, "-but alone in this palace, I feel like the Queen of nothing," Regina explained.

"No wonder you jumped," Tinker Bell commented, surprising Regina.

"I didn't jump. I fell," she argued.

"Right," the green Fairy cleared her throat, "you fell."

"I did. If I hadn't…well, here's to good reasons," the dark-haired woman replied, clinking their cups.

"You know, I've got an idea. I can help people find what they need, Regina," Tinker Bell told her, wanting to help the poor Queen.

"And what do I need?" Regina asked her.

"You don't even know? That's so sad. Regina, love. You need love," she replied, smiling.

"You're gonna help me find another soul mate?" The Queen questioned, frowning.

"It is possible to find love again. I've never seen pixie dust fail. It will find you your perfect match. If you let it, you'll find your happy ending," the green Fairy explained happily.

"My happy ending looks like Snow's head on a plate," Regina argued.

"No. Aren't you at least curious?" Tinker Bell wondered. "What if I can do what I say?"

"Well, then, let's say that'll be real magic," she replied doubtfully.

"I'm a fairy. You might wanna try believing in me," the blond Fairy told her.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

Sweating, Regina dabs her forehead using a small cloth before stuffing it into her pocket, but it falls to the ground without her noticing. She walks on, and while hidden in the bushes, Tinker Bell comes out briefly to pick up the cloth. Regina catches up with the rest of the group and approaches Emma. "Emma. There is another way," Regina tells her.

"Is there?" Emma asks her.

"Magic," she replies.

"Didn't we just go through this?" The blond woman argues.

"I'm not talking about my magic. I'm talking about ours," the Evil Queen retorts.

"I am not interested. One thing I've learned is, it always comes with a price," Emma tells her.

"Sometimes not using it comes with a price too. I bet you, my mother, and I combined are strong enough to overpower Pan," Regina reasons.

"What if we're not?" She questions. "I'm not taking a chance on that. We're talking about Henry's life."

"I'm aware of that," the dark-haired woman argues.

"Look, I know you don't like this plan. Let's just see it through," the Saviour tells her. "At least, we can see if we find… Tinker Bell."

"And you think it's the best plan because your boyfriend came up with it?" Regina snaps.

"My boyfriend?" Emma repeats, thinking of Landon, then glances at Regina, who looks at Killian. "Hook? What's your problem?"

"She just lost Landon, your brother," Mary Margaret reminds Regina.

"I'm sorry. I'm just worried about Henry," Regina replies, walking away. "He's all I have left."

(BEWITCHING)

Pan douses an arrow into a bottle in the camp, beginning their little game, and Henry joins him. "What's that?" Henry asks him.

"Dreamshade. A nasty poison. I've heard a story about a man who once shot an apple off his son's head with an arrow," Peter replies, preparing the crossbow for shooting. "Let's find out if this is possible."

"If you're shooting the apple, what's the poison for?" He wonders, frowning.

"A motivation not to miss," Pan tells him and playfully aims the crossbow. "Felix! Get over here!"

"Is… Is Felix good?" The Mills boy gulps, voice cracking. "Is his aim good?"

"Doesn't matter. You're the one doing the shooting," Peter informs Henry.

"But I-I don't want to shoot," Henry argues.

"Shoot. Shoot. Shoot," the Lost Boys chant.

"You won't hit him. Trust yourself," Peter assures him. "Go on." Felix places an apple on his head. "It's exhilarating."

"Shoot. Shoot. Shoot," the boys chant. Henry finally aims at the apple before suddenly changing his target, shooting the arrow at Peter Pan, who catches the arrow in mid-air.

"Told you it was exhilarating. Come on, I have something to show you," he informs Henry, leading him away from the camp.

(BEWITCHING)

The Henry search party continue on their way, looking for Pan, and Killian stops David to talk to him. "So you gonna tell her?" Killian asks David.

"Tell her what?" David questions, looking at the pirate.

"I saw what happened to you, mate. Let me see," he orders, looking around, and David lifts his shirt a little, showing the black veins spreading around the cut.

"The arrow only nicked me," the Prince argues.

"I'm sorry, mate," Hook apologises.

"Do you know how long?" David asks him.

"Days. Weeks at most. You won't see summer," Killian informs him. "It's a really bad break. You might want to tell her."

"No," he snaps, not wanting to burden his wife with this terrible news.

"Well, you have to," the Captain argues.

"Maybe I don't," Charming replies.

"How's that?" Killian questions.

"Pixie dust. You believe in this Tinker Bell's power? In her pixie dust?" David asks him.

"Indeed, I do," he replies.

"Then let's get her and that dust," the Prince suggests.

(BEWITCHING)

Regina and Tinker Bell were leaving the tavern after their conversation. "You really think, this will make me happy?" Regina asked her.

"I know it will," Tinker Bell replied, hearing church bells ring nearby. "I'm late. I have to go. See you soon." She spread her wings before waving her wand and returning to her smaller form, and Regina looked up as Tinker Bell flew away. "

"What…" She muttered.

(BEWITCHING)

Tinker Bell entered the refuge of the fairies and carefully approached a green blossom that suddenly opened and revealed the Blue Fairy inside. "Good evening, Green," she greeted her.

"Hey Blue. You look amazing. Did you do something to your-?" Tinker Bell wondered, trying to distract her.

"You're late," Blue said, interrupting the blond Fairy. "You've already broken every rule in the book. Curfew. Dust discipline. You got big for no reason."

"Listen. I have news. Amazing news. I was helping someone. A Queen in the Enchanted Forest. Regina," she explained, beaming.

"Do you know who she is? Her mother was Cora. The one who ripped out hearts. Her teacher is the Dark One," the Blue Fairy argued, looking at her.

"So?" The Green Fairy questioned.

"So consider yourself lucky you're alive," Blue sighed. "Green, this is not a woman you can help. She is surrounded by darkness."

"Sounds to me like she's exactly someone who could use help. Maybe if you let me have some pixie dust," Tinker Bell suggested.

"Not a chance. You fly away from this one, Green," she snapped.

"My name isn't Green. It's Tinker Bell. And I can't believe you want me to ignore someone who needs help. It's not very fairy-like," the blond Fairy argued.

"I would be the judge of what is fairy-like," Blue retorted.

"But I-," Tinker Bell replied.

"No discussion. Until further notice you are to remain here and continue your training under my direct supervision. Understood?" The Blue Fairy snapped, silencing her.

"Yes, Blue," she muttered, and the Blue Fairy left. After a moment, Tinker Bell sneaked a look around, making sure no one could see her, and she flew off again.

(BEWITCHING)

Neal, Landon, and Robin Hood discuss Neal's plan to get to Neverland. "Are you out of your mind?" Robin snaps, worried for his son. "He's four years old."

"The Shadow won't touch him, I promise," Landon assures the thief.

"How do you know that?" He argues.

"Because I've done that before. It was what took me to Neverland as a kid," Neal informs him. "All Roland has to do is summon it. That's it. We'll take it from there. We'll be the one going to Neverland. Not him."

"At best, my toddler is a bait. At worst something goes wrong and a demonic shadow carries him through a portal to the nastiest person you've ever met," Hood snaps.

"Look, Robin. We have to get there," Landon urges him.

"I lost my wife a while back," Robin sighs. "For that, we almost didn't have Roland. She was so sick. Now, she's gone. He's all I have. I can't lose him."

"So you know how we feel. I need my boy. And Emma. They're all I have," Neal replies, and Landon glares at the other man, though he wants to find them, too.

"So, because I know what it is to value family, I should risk mine?" He snaps angrily.

"When she was sick, your wife, how did she live so that she could have your boy?" Cassidy questions, looking at him.

"You know how," Hood retorts, glaring at Neal.

"My father. He saved her. And your son," Neal realises.

"Ah," Robin mutters, visibly uneasy and turns around. "Right." he faces Neal again. "Once. He stands at the window. He calls out once. That doesn't take, that's it. No second chance."

"You've got to understand this is my second chance," he remarks.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

"Hey," Emma says, falling behind the others to talk to Regina.

"Hey," Regina replies, shrugging, not looking at the blond woman.

"You're falling behind. Hook thinks her place is right up ahead. Come on," she tells her.

"Well, if she still lives there," the dark-haired woman argues. "You go waste your time searching, and I'll wait." Regina stands in the middle of the path defiantly.

"What did you do to her?" The Saviour questions, frowning.

"What? Why would you assume I did something?" Regina snaps, glaring at Emma.

"You've met her before, right? In the Enchanted Forest? What did you do? Kill her brother? Steal her halo?" Emma wonders, looking at the Evil Queen.

"She's not an angel," she argues, earning a look from Emma. "Okay, we have a complicated history."

"I knew it," the blond woman replies.

"You don't need to know all the details. But if she sees me she won't help. And if she's the way in, well then, trust me, my staying out of her sight is probably best for Operation Henry," the Evil Queen suggests, sitting down on a nearby fallen tree.

"Operation Henry?" Emma repeats, smiling slightly at the name,

"That's what I've been calling it in my head because-," Regina explains.

"He'd call it that," she agrees, openly smiling at her.

"He'd have a better name. But, it's the best I can do," the dark-haired woman retorts defensively.

"Okay. We'll get her and I'll come get you," the Saviour suggests.

"No, don't bother. It's better if we never see one another," Regina warns her. "And if you don't find her, keep going. Just get Henry. Don't worry about Tinker Bell."

"What the hell did you do to her?" Emma can't help but ask, wondering about the Evil Queen's past.

"What I always do," she replies, sighing and slightly shaking her head before Emma walks away, passing Cora. "Go mother, make sure they don't mess up."

"I won't," Cora assures her, walking further into the jungle with Emma.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

Regina was sitting at her dresser in the Palace, writing a letter, when Tinker Bell flew in through the window. "Wanna fly?" Tinker Bell asked her.

"You've got it?" Regina questioned, excited.

"And then some," she replied giddy. "Let's get started. Helping you find your happiness, saving you, that's what's gonna save me."

"This isn't your pixie dust, is it?" The Queen asked her.

"Oh, when you think about it, does anyone really own pixie dust?" The Green Fairy mused, but she wasn't fooling the Queen.

"The Fairies are quite proprietary about it. They find out you stole it, they would…" Regina warned her new friend.

"Don't worry about me," Tinker Bell assured her. "This is about you." She sprinkled the pixie dust over Regina, making her glow greenish. "Come on." She used her wand to lift the Queen from the ground, and together, they flew out of the window. "Now, watch." Tinker Bell applied some pixie dust to the air, and after a moment, a broad green trail formed, leading somewhere in the distance.

"What's that?" She asked her.

"That's your happy ending. He's down there," the Fairy replied, smiling as they flew along the glowing trail.

(BEWITCHING)

Tinker Bell and Regina walked through an alleyway and stopped outside a bar once they landed. "Inside here lies the beginning of your happiness. All the pain in your past will be just that. The past," Tinker Bell explained to the Queen, walking to a window to get a better look inside.

"I just need a moment," Regina argued, too nervous, stepping away from the window.

"You're nervous. I get it. But look!" She exclaimed, pulling Regina to the window and showing her the man with his back to them inside, sitting at a table surrounded by others. Tinker Bell noticed that he glowed greenish, too. "There he is." Regina stepped in to take a look at him herself. The man raised his right arm so a waitress could refill his cup. A lion tattoo could be seen on his right arm. "The guy with the lion tattoo."

"That's him?" The Queen questioned, doubtful.

"Pixie Dust doesn't lie," the Green Fairy assured her. "Come on, this is your chance of love and happiness. A fresh start. No baggage. You can let go of all the anger that weighs you down. Now, get him." Regina took a deep breath as she thought about her options.

"Okay. Okay, I can do this. I can be happy," Regina muttered, wanting happiness, but that scared her the most because it was taken away from her the last time she was happy.

"I know you can. Go," Tinker Bell encouraged her before leaving. Regina hesitated for a moment as she stared through the glass. Then she moved closer to the door before opening it, and the Queen watched the man with the lion tattoo rejoice with a group of other men, sharing a drink with them. Regina continued watching them from the doorway for another moment, and overwhelming fear overcame her. She rushed out the door and fled.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

Regina sits alone on the tree log when she hears a rustling nearby, making her stand up, already figuring out who it could be. "Let's get this over with. Shall we?" Regina questions and Tinker Bell emerges from the bushes.

"A complicated history," Tinker Bell repeats, glaring at the Evil Queen. "That's quite a diplomatic way of describing it."

"You look terrible," she gasps, looking at the former Fairy dressed in blackish green clothes, a drastic contrast from when the Queen first met the Green Fairy.

"You're trying to provoke me?" The former Fairy snaps, glaring at the Evil Queen.

"Come on and get me, Tinker Bell," the dark-haired woman retorts.

"You think you're so smart, but you're all gonna fail," Tinker Bell warns Regina before blowing poppy dust into her face, making the Evil Queen fall to the ground asleep.

(BEWITCHING)

Killian leads the group to Tinker Bell's hideout on the other side of the Dark Jungle; he climbs up the ladder to the treehouse. "No one's home. Come on up," Killian informs the others.

"Where would it be?" David asks, entering and beginning to look for Fairy Dust.

"She won't leave dust just lying around, mate," he argues. "It's not here, I promise. I'm sorry." Emma climbs up next with Mary Margaret behind her.

"It's pretty bare. Reminds me of someplace," Emma comments, looking around. "Cora, are you coming up?"

"No," Cora replies, looking around.

"Okay," she says.

"I thought a treehouse would be more cheerful," Mary Margaret remarks.

"Where I used to live. That's it," the blond woman realises.

"Because it's just a place to sleep," Snow replies.

"What would you know about that?" Emma questions, looking at her mother.

"I didn't always have a canopy bed in a palace. I had a place like this, too. Once," Mary Margaret tells her.

"You did?" She asks her.

"A tree stump," the raven-haired woman replies, looking around. "When I was running from the Queen. Believe it or not, I understand this Tinker Bell. The true question is: Why does she have a ladder? Fairies have wings?"

"Guys, I've found something. It's a handkerchief," David announces, showing them.

"That's Regina's. How did it get here?" Snow wonders, walking over to her husband. Cora becomes alert, hearing her daughter's name and races up the ladder, not caring about the dirt or grime.

"She's been tracking us, watching Regina," Emma realises, looking at her parents.

"But, if she's been watching her -," Mary Margaret gasps.

"We're in the wrong place," Killian concludes.

"Regina," Cora mutters.

(BEWITCHING)

Regina awakens inside a cave a little away from Tinker Bell's hideout with the others looking for her; she finds her wrists tied together behind her back. "About time you woke up," Tinker Bell comments, making Regina look at her. "I've been looking forward to this chat for quite some time."

"Look, you don't know why I'm here," Regina argues.

"Oh, I know exactly why you're here," she assures her, making Regina look at her in surprise. "You're trying to find your son."

"I take it by the restraints you're not helping," the Evil Queen remarks.

"Hell, no," the blond Fairy replies. "You're the last person I'd ever help after how you burned me."

"Burned you? You're the one who interfered in my life," Regina snaps defensively.

"And you threw away my own in the process," Tinker Bell growls.

"So, what do you want from me? To kill me?" She asks her. "You think it's that easy? Whatever you knocked me out with, I can tell it's not magic. Maybe poppies. But they're wearing off. And since you had to resort to that, it only means one thing." She stands up. "You don't have magic. But I do." She uses her magic to break the rope, and Tinker Bell approaches Regina, who is holding an arrow in her hands.

"Yeah, I know. But even your magic can't stop this. Have you ever heard of Dreamshade?" The former Fairy snaps, glaring at her.

"Yes," the dark-haired replies.

"Good," Tinker Bell growls.

"How the hell did you get like this?" Regina wonders, looking at the former Fairy with curiosity and surprise.

"I met you," she sneers.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

Regina sat in bed, unable to sleep, when Tinker Bell visited her, unaware of what happened after she left. "How did it go?" Tinker Bell wondered excitedly.

"Eh, it was -," Regina replied, shrugging.

"What happened?" She asked, seeing the squirrely look on the Queen's face. "I don't understand, you're not glowing with new love. You should be glowing."

"Because it didn't work," the dark-haired woman lied. "The Pixie Dust. It was wrong. I went in and met him and he was awful. He was just awful."

"Are you sure you went to the right man?" The Green Fairy questioned, frowning.

"Yes, the one with the lion tattoo. That wasn't the problem," Regina told her,

"What was?" Tinker Bell asked her.

"You," she snapped.

"Me?" The blond Fairy repeated, shocked.

"Yes, you. You're a terrible Fairy," the Queen argued.

"You didn't go in, did you?" Tinker Bell asked her, realising what really happened after she left.

"How dare you," Regina snapped.

"It's okay. You were afraid," she assured the Queen, still wanting to help her.

"I'm not afraid of anything," the dark-haired woman argued. "I can't believe I let you distract me."

"No. Don't do it. What you need is love," the Green Fairy told her, but Regina just shook her head.

"I had love and he's dead. And I suffered," Regina snapped. "What you've sent me to do wasn't going to change that. Goodbye."

"What about me?" Tinker Bell asked her. "I stole for you and for nothing. I'm in big trouble."

"As i said you're a terrible Fairy," she retorted.

"I thought we were friends," the blond Fairy muttered.

"I don't have friends. Fly away, moth," the Queen sneered. "Don't let the door catch your wings on the way out."

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

"Okay, you wanna kill me? I can make it easier," Regina offers, ripping out her own heart and showing it to Tinker Bell.

"What do you -?" Tinker Bell asks her.

"You wanna kill me? Don't let the poison do it. You should do it. Go ahead. Crush it," she tells her.

"You think I won't take it?" The former Fairy questions, looking at it.

"No, I'm counting on it. Show me who you are, Tinker Bell," the dark-haired woman replies.

"Gladly," Tinker Bell snaps, holding the Queen's heart.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

Tinker Bell flew away from the Dark Palace, heading home, but the Blue Fairy appeared before her, stopping her. "Stop. You stole that dust," Blue sighed, looking at the young Fairy.

"I know. I thought I needed it to prove to you that I was a good Fairy," Tinker Bell explained.

"You could have proven that by being a good Fairy, by listening to me," she replied.

"I was following my instincts," the Green Fairy told her.

"Which are so far from being correct," the Blue Fairy sighed. "This can't be forgiven."

"Wait. Wait. Everyone deserves a second chance. We always tell people that," Tinker Bell argued.

"But, Tinker Bell, this was your second chance," Blue reminded her.

"Please. I promise. I'm so sorry," she pleaded with her.

"You betrayed my trust," the Blue Fairy told her.

"I can regain it. Give me a chance," the Green Fairy begged, not wanting to be cast out with nowhere to go.

"You can't. For one simple, tragic reason: I no longer believe in you," Blue replied, and suddenly, Tinker Bell's wings disappeared, causing her to helplessly fall to the ground, and the Blue Fairy flew off.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

Tinker Bell squeezes Regina's heart, looking at her. "Do you know what you've cost me?" Tinker Bell asks her, turning around so that Regina is able to see her back.

"Your wings," Regina gasps.

"Why?" She wonders.

"Why what? Why did I hand over my heart?" The dark-haired woman questions.

"No. Why did you lie?" The former Fairy snaps. "Because I've been over a million times and that spell worked. You never went in. It's the only explanation. Why couldn't you just go through that door and meet your soulmate? Was being happy such a terrible fate?"

"Yes. Yes, it was," Regina says, looking at Tinker Bell. "You're right. I never went in. I was afraid. I didn't. You said I can let go of the anger that was weighing me down and suddenly it felt like without it, I would just flood away. That anger was all I had. What would I be without it?"

"Happy," Tinker Bell argues.

"Weak," she replies, shaking her head.

"And look, what good it did you. The strength you gained," the blond Fairy remarks. "Because I'm holding your heart in my hand and I'm not hearing one reason not to squeeze it into ash."

"All right, you wanna a reason? Here you go. You think I was afraid? You think I did the wrong thing?" The Queen questions, looking at Tinker Bell. "Well, Fairy, right now, you're making the same choice. I picked revenge over hope, and you're holding the result." She forces Tinker Bell to look closer at her heart, which is almost completely blackened. "A small, hard, dark heart. If you make the same choice I did, then what you're looking at is your own future. I'm not gonna tell you what to do. The choice is yours. Kill me or act like the Fairy you are."

"You said I was a terrible Fairy," Tinker Bell retorts, looking at her.

"Well then, prove me wrong. Pick hope over anger. Choose love and help me get my son back," Regina argues.

"You love your son?" She asks her.

"Very much. With Henry, I've finally got something right. Don't you wanna be able to say the same thing?" The Evil Queen wonders.

"It's too late for me," the blond Fairy argues.

"Only if you kill me," Regina replies.

"I won't kill you. But I won't help you either. Besides, it's probably too late. He's been with him too long," Tinker Bell warns her, returning the heart to Regina.

Pan watches the Lost Boys inside the camp, then turns around to talk to Henry. "Look at the fun they are having. The thing with this place, Henry, is that no one tells you no. You can do as you want."

"Do they never hurt themselves?" Henry asks him.

"All the time. Sometimes I had four boys with missing fingers. Cost of the game. They don't mind," he assures the boy.

"I don't belong here," the Mills boy argues.

"Actually, you do. We've been waiting for you for a very long time, Henry. Long before you were even born," Peter informs him.

"I don't believe that," Henry snaps.

"You should. This place runs on imagination. On belief. But your world stopped believing. Magic is dying and you, Henry, need to save it," Pan explains, feeding him small lies.

"In my world, you mean?" He asks him.

"In every world. You need to bring it back. That's your destiny. To return the magic. To be the Saviour," Peter tells him, but Henry doesn't believe him.

"My mum, Emma, is the Saviour. Not me," the Mayor's son argues.

"She broke some curse, yeah," Pan retorts, making Henry look at him questioningly. "Oh, I know more than you think. But what if breaking the curse wasn't the thing that made her the Saviour. What if having you was. Think about it. You both descend from the greatest of light and of dark. Believing that's a coincidence that the sprout of the Dark One met your mother? You were created for a reason and I can help you find it."

"So you're thinking I'm supposed to save magic," Henry questions.

"I'm not thinking. I believe. Remember, I've said I've something to show you," he replies, handing Henry a scroll. "Here. I had this for a very long time. Long before you were even thought about. Take a look, and you'll know why I'm so sure you're the hero magic has been waiting for?" Henry takes the scroll, and defiantly, without looking, he drops it to the ground.

"I don't believe you," the Mills boy snaps.

"You remind me of your father," Peter muses, looking at the boy.

Neal, Landon, Mulan, and Robin prepare to summon Pan's Shadow to the Dark Castle with Roland as bait. "I'll be right here next to the window. Robin, behind the table. Neal, you need to be there, under the sill. Landon, you should be close to Neal. You'll come up right under the Shadow," Mulan explains the plan, looking at the others.

"That's a good plan," Robin compliments her, looking at the female Warrior, impressed.

"I know," she replies, and Landon and Robin shift a piece of furniture under the sill.

"Hood. Man, thanks again," Neal says, looking at the thief.

"Thank me when your family is back together," Robin replies, and Neal shrugs. "What?"

"We're gonna save them, don't you worry," Landon assures him.

"I thought you said you loved them?" The thief questions, frowning.

"I do. But I won't ever get Emma back," Baelfire tells him.

"Why wouldn't you?" Mulan asks him.

"Cause I screwed up the first time," Neal replies.

"That happens when you abandon someone," Landon remarks, making Neal turn and glare at him.

"I'm sure she'll forgive you," Mulan assures Neal. "Even if you did abandon her."

"Tell me about it," he mutters.

"I hope so. I've learned that lesson the hard way," Neal replies, opening the door, and Little John enters the room holding Roland.

"You ready?" Little John asks, looking around the room.

"I suppose," Robin says. "Come here, little man." He scoops his son up, carefully letting him down onto the floor. "Okay." Robin then crouches to eye level with Roland. "Now, Daddy's gonna be right there." He indicates to the table. "Okay? It might be loud, but nothing's gonna hurt you. You understand?" Roland nods, looking at his dad. "You remember what you have to say?"

"Yeah. I say -," Roland says.

"No!" He shouts, startling his son a little.

"No! No! Not yet!" Mulan yells.

"No! Wait, wait, wait," Neal yelps.

"Not yet, little man," Landon sighs.

"Not yet. Positions," Mulan orders the men.

"Okay," Robin agrees, quickly hugging his son before crouching behind the table and taking a deep breath. "Okay, Roland. Say it."

"I believe," Roland says, but nothing happens.

"Maybe if he says it again. Just once more," Neal suggests, and Robin walks over to his son.

"No, I'm sorry, mate. That's it," Robin argues, and suddenly, the window opens, allowing Ran's Shadow to enter the room. Robin steps in to take his son out of the Shadow's reach as it tries to seize Roland by the hand.

"No!" Roland shouts.

"Hey!" He yells.

"I got him!" Mulan exclaims, wielding her sword towards the Shadow, slicing at it, hurting the Shadow, who retreats. "Neal, Landon, go!" Neal leaps out of the window in time, grabbing hold of Pan's Shadow, and Landon runs, jumping outside, catching onto Neal's leg as they fly away.

(BEWITCHING)

Later, as it grows darker, Robin Hood watches his sleeping son, and Mulan joins him. "Is he all right?" Mulan asks him.

"Yes. Thank you, Mulan. I owe you much. He doesn't have a scratch on him," Robin remarks, glancing between Mulan and Roland.

"I planned it that way," she assures him.

"So, what now for you? What will you do? If you'd care to put your considerable skills to use there's a place for you among my Merry Man. You'd be the first woman. I hope that's not a deterrent," he offers her a place with his men.

"I've been in that position before," the Warrior argues.

"Is that a yes?" The thief asks her.

"I'm honoured. But, there's someone I need to talk to before it's too late," Mulan informs him.

"A loved one," Robin realises, nodding.

"We shall see," she replies before heading out of the Dark Castle.

(BEWITCHING)

In the palace gardens, Aurora happily waters her flowers; after a while, she spots Mulan standing behind her after returning from the Dark Castle. "Mulan?" Aurora says, and Mulan smiles at the beautiful Princess. "How long have you been there? What are you doing?" Aurora approaches Mulan.

"I;m just gathering my courage," Mulan replies, walking over to the Princess.

"What's going on?" She asks her, smiling. "I'm so glad you're back.

"Is Phillip here?" The Warrior questions.

"No. Shall I go get him?" Sleeping Beauty wonders.

"No. That;s unnecessary," Mulan assures her. "It's you I wanna talk to. You see, I - Why do you keep smiling at me?"

"I can tell you're bursting with news but so am I," Aurora tells her.

"You are?" She asks her.

"Phillip and I are expecting a baby," the Princess informs her, and Mulan takes a moment before hesitantly smiling.

"That's excellent news," the Warrior replies, and Aurora happily hugs her.

"It's like a dream come true. Now, please, please tell me your news," Aurora asks.

"I'm joining Robin Hood's band," Mulan blurts, needing to distance herself from the Princess.

"What? You're leaving us?" She questions, shocked.

"Yes," the raven-haired woman replies. "Afraid so. Goodbye." Mulan quickly turns to leave as a saddened Aurora watches her go.

"Where's Regina?" Cora snaps, racing towards the former Fairy through the jungle.

"Who the hell are you?" Tinker Bell asks, shocked.

"A pissed off mother. Where is she?" She demands, glaring at her, and Regina steps through the foliage behind the blond Fairy.

"I'm fine, mother," Regina assures the others as they follow the furious red-haired woman.

"Do you mind removing those? You might stick me. But I'll take you down," Tinker Bell warns Emma.

"It's okay. She's not gonna hurt us. Just stand down," she tells them.

"Is she going to help us?" Killian asks her.

"Well, look who the Queen dragged along. Hello Hook," Tinker Bell greets her.

"Lady Bell," he replies, looking at her.

"She's not gonna help us," Regina informs them.

"Why not?" Emma asks, frowning.

"Tink, after all we've been through together," Killian muses, shrugging. "A little assistance."

"She doesn't have any magic," Regina argues.

"No Pixie Dust?" David questions.

"Not even her wings," she tells them.

"How?" Emma wonders, looking at her.

"I guess people just stopped believing in me. And if I wanted to help you, he's too powerful," Tinker Bell snaps.

"But you know where Pan is?" Mary Margaret asks her.

"Sure. But it won't do you a bit of good," she argues, looking at the others.

"Let us be the judge of that. Does he trust you?" Snow questions as they all want to save Henry from Pan.

"Can you get us inside his compound?" Emma asks her, needing the former Fairy's help.

"Maybe. Why should I help you?" Tinker Bell snaps, glaring at the Saviour.

"Because I believe in you," Mary Margaret tells her, stepping towards her.

"Just get us inside, and we'll take care of things from there," Emma assures her.

"And what's in it for me, other than a dead sentence from Pan when you're gone with your boy?" Tinker Bell argues.

"You can come with us," she suggests, and Tinker Bell looks at her.

"That's right. A home. That is what you want, isn't it?" Mary Margaret questions.

"Okay. Listen closely. Pan trusts me. He'll let me in. And maybe, just maybe, I'll leave a way open for you. But you've only got one shot, so you better have a good plan," Tinker Bell tells them.

"Thank you. We will," Emma assures her.

"Come with us to our camp. We'll figure it out," Mary Margaret replies, and the group leaves, but David lingers a bit longer, and Mary Margaret steps over to him. "Hey. Are you all right? You look upset."

"Yeah," David sighs. "I just want to get Henry back."

"We're on the way," she tells him.

"How did you know that would work, offering her a home?" He asks her.

"It worked for me," Snow tells him. "When I was a bandit living alone, all I wanted was a home. And...the thing is I never found it till you came along. Even now, when I'm with you... I mean, that's all I need." David nods, understanding his wife. "You sure you're okay?"

"I love you," Charming says, and Mary Margaret looks at him, smiling and humming before kissing him.

"Come on. Last thing we need is to get lost in here," Mary Margaret warns him, following the others.

(BEWITCHING)

Meanwhile, inside Pan's camp, Henry picks up the scroll Pan gave him earlier and takes a closer look at it, seeing the detailed draft illustration of Henry. Suddenly, a disturbing sound can be heard in the distance.

(BEWITCHING)

Pan's Shadow drops Neal and Landon onto the ground somewhere on the island, and Felix emerges from the bushes. "Welcome home, Baelfire. Pan will be so happy to see you," Felix remarks, smirking. "And we have a new face, too."

"Cocky little runt," Landon growls, glaring at the older Lost Boy.

(BEWITCHING)

Emma, Killian, David, Cora, and Mary Margaret sit together by a fire at their little camp. Killian hands Emma an open coconut. In the distance, Regina leans against a tree away from the others. "Thanks," Emma replies, and Tinker Bell walks over to the Evil Queen and sits beside her.

"Did you ever go back and find him, the man with the lion tattoo?" Tinker Bell asks her.

"No," Regina tells her.

"Unreal," she scoffs. "Do you know how selfish that is?"

"It's a lot of things, but how is it selfish?" The dark-haired woman questions, frowning at the former Fairy.

"Because you didn't just ruin your life; you ruined his," the former Fairy snaps.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Present) -

Robin Hood and his Merry Men sit by the fireplace at the Dark Castle. One of the Merry Men leads Mulan to the group, and the leader stands up, approaching her and shaking hands, knowing why she's returned. "Welcome," Robin says, revealing a lion tattoo on his arm before leading Mulan to the fireplace to sit down with him.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

Not far from the Hero's group, Felix escorts Neal and Landon through the jungle, the men's hands tied up in front of them. "Feels like just yesterday I welcomed you to Neverland the first time, Baelfire," Felix remarks, smirking at the former resident of Neverland and the Historian. "Gotta say, hoped I'd never see you again, or meet you, Historian." He nudges Neal with his sharpened stick, making Baelfire move forward.

"Don't even try it, pipsqueak," Landon snaps, glaring at Felix, who almost appears timid at the largely muscled tattooed man.

"Maybe Pan shouldn't have taken my son," Neal argues, glaring at the older Lost Boy.

"Maybe you should've left well enough alone," Felix retorts.

"I'm gonna get him back," he tells him.

"You really believe that? You were a Lost boy. You know Peter Pan is not to be trifled with. You know how long he's been searching for the heart of the truest believer. Do you really believe he'll just give him up?" The blond Lost Boy argues, glaring at the back of the adult's head.

"Maybe if I ask nicely," Baelfire jokes.

"You may have grown up, Baelfire. But it would appear you've grown up stupid," Felix remarks.

"I have grown up. I don't know if I'm stupid or not, but I do know I know how to tie an overhand knot," Neal informs him, untying the ropes around his wrists before turning, but Landon snaps the ropes, beating Neal to it and punching Felix in the face, making the older Lost Boy fall to the ground unconscious. "I'm not a boy anymore, Felix. I sure as hell ain't lost."

"That's nice, but we need to find Henry and Emma, remember?" Landon snaps, and Neal looks at him as they run into the jungle.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

A few years after Rumpelstiltskin became the Dark One, he still lived in his village with his son, Baelfire, who drew on a sheet of paper at the table when his father entered. "Bae. A present. Something to sharpen your coal with," Rumpelstiltskin informed him, showing his son a jewelled dagger.

"Where did you get it?" Baelfire asked him, taking it and inspecting the dagger.

"Oh, from a man who no longer needed it," he replied, giggling.

"You mean taken from a man who couldn't pay you," the boy argued, hating this side of his father.

"Bae…" The Dark One muttered, looking at his son sadly.

"Papa, I told you, I don't want any more gifts from the people you terrorise," Baelfire snapped, slamming the dagger on the table.

"Then what do you want? Tell me, son. What would make you happy?" Rumpelstiltskin suggested.

"Leaving this place. I'm tired of staying in this hovel all the time," he told him.

"Well, that's easy to fix. How about a castle, huh? I could build you a palace so magnificent its shadow would blanket the countryside," the Dark One replied, smiling.

"That's not what I mean," the boy groaned. "I wanna go out, have friends, see the world beyond these four walls. Papa, why can't you just trust me to do that?"

"I do trust you, Bae. It's…It's others that I can't," Rumpelstiltskin argued. "You see, I have many enemies beyond that door. And once you leave, any one of them could hurt you."

"You sure that's the only reason?" Baelfire asked him. "Maybe what you're really worried about is if I leave, I might never come back."

"No, no. I… I… I'm worried about your safety. This is the best place for you. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you," he assured him, unaware of what would happen not long in the future.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

Deep inside the Dark Jungle, Rumpelstiltskin puts on war paint; he makes himself as the fire crackles before him in his little camp. "You always felt more comfortable behind a mask," Belle comments, appearing beside him.

"You were the only one who could ever see past it, past the mask of the monster," Mr Gold replies, looking at his lover.

"Then why put it back on now?" She asks him.

"I need the monster, Belle. It's the only way I can save him. And that's what I've decided. I'm gonna save Henry," he informs her, making her look at him in shock.

"The prophecy states that Henry will be your undoing. To save him, you ensure your own death," the bookworm argues.

"You don't think I can do it?" The Dark One asks her.

"I think your intentions are good. But a lifetime of craven self-interest is a nasty habit that you've never been able to break," Belle reasons, shaking her head.

"Things are different now," Mr Gold argues.

"How? What...what's different?" She asks him.

"Because I have nothing to live for," he replies.

"What about me?" The beauty wonders.

"You're not real. Just a vision," Rumpelstiltskin argues, looking at her.

"But I'm... I'm back in Storybrooke, waiting for you," Belle retorts sadly.

"You shouldn't be. When I said goodbye to you, Belle, we both knew it was for good," Mr Gold explains.

"Well, maybe I think you'll come back," she argues.

"Even if I did, eventually you'd leave me because you can see me for what I really am. You think you see a good man, but in time, you'd see the monster. My son is dead. The only way I can redeem myself is by saving his son and giving my life," he says, sighing.

(BEWITCHING)

Emma, Cora, Mary Margaret, David, Killian, and Regina sit by the fire at their camp. Emma fiddles with a stick in her hand after finishing the makeshift layout of Pan's compound as Tinker Bell packs up. "This is where they're keeping Henry. Pan's compound. According to, uh…" Emma says, glancing at the former Fairy.

"Tinker Bell," she tells her.

"I know. Still weird to say," the blond woman mutters.

"'Tink' is fine," Tinker Bell replies.

"Not sure that's any better," Emma argues. "Anyway, she says that there are sentries positioned across the front," she taps her stick on the ground, "which is why we are gonna come in through the back entrance here." Emma taps again. "She's gonna talk her way in. Once she makes sure the coast is clear, then we are going to sneak on in."

"You'll still have to deal with any Lost Boys once you're inside," she warns them.

"I think we can handle a few children with pointy sticks," Cora snaps, rolling her eyes.

"It's not the sticks you need to worry about. It's the poison they're dipped in," the former Fairy tells her.

"Dreamshade. Hook warned us," Mary Margaret replies.

"Good. Because one nick, and you'll spend the last of…" Tinker Bell warns them.

"Poison sticks equal death. We got it. Now when can we put this rescue mission into action?" David asks her, trying to avoid the subject because of his own predicament.

"I'm ready to go, just as you tell me the exit plan. You do have an escape plan, don't you?" She wonders, looking at the others.

"It's...it's more of a last-minute trip," Emma replies nervously.

"If you don't have a way off this island, then none of this matters," the blond Fairy snaps.

"We'll figure it out," Regina argues, rolling her eyes.

"You'll figure it out? No one comes and goes from this place unless he allows it. This is a waste of time," Tinker Bell groans.

"Hey, when it comes to family, we always find a way," David snaps.

"You don't get it. Here. Let me show you something. You know what this is?" She asks them, showing them a watch.

"Yeah, a watch," Emma grumbles, rolling her eyes.

"I got it from the people who brought your son here for Pan," Tinker Bell explains.

"Greg and Tamara? Where are they? Why'd they give you that?" She demands, standing up.

"I got it off the girl's body. Spent half the night cleaning the blood off it. And the other guy... Well, there wasn't enough left of him to find anything useful. This is what Pan does to people he employs. What do you think he's gonna do to you? I'm not sticking my neck on Pan's chopping block without a way off this island. When you figure that out, you know where I live," the former Fairy retorts, leaving the campsite.

"Where the hell is she going?" Mary Margaret groans.

"I'll get her, bring her back," David suggests, stepping towards Tinker Bell's retreating form.

"Don't. She's right. If there's one thing I've learned, you never break in somewhere unless you know the way out," Emma reasons.

"And where'd you get that, in bail bondsperson school?" Regina questions snarkily.

"Neal taught me that," she replies.

"What about you, Hook? You got off this island before," David wonders, looking at the pirate Captain.

"Yes, aboard my ship, which would require some form of magic to create a portal, which... I got from Pan in a deal I don't think he's ready to repeat," Killian informs them.

"So no one's ever left the island without Pan's permission?" Regina questions.

"One man. Her partner in crime Neal," he replies.

"How?" Emma asks him.

"Maybe we can find out," Hook suggests.

(BEWITCHING)

Walking through the jungle, the Lost Boys talk when they hear something rustling through the foliage. "Stop by order of Pan!" A Lost Boy shouts when they groan, falling to the ground unconscious.

"I don't take orders," Mr Gold retorts, walking into view when more rustling comes from somewhere, and Neal and Landon race out of the trees. "Bae? You're not real. You're dead."

"What? Of course I'm real. What the hell's going on?!" Neal snaps, looking at his father, surprised to see him in Neverland.

"You're a vision, just like Belle," he argues.

"No. No, hey. Listen to me. It's me," Baelfire assures him. "I was shot. Okay? But I survived. See? I'm alive."

"No offence, but hello! Dark One! I'm here. I don't think I'd be a vision you'd wanna see," Landon snaps.

"My son is dead! You're just here to remind me of my failure!" Rumpelstiltskin shouts, glaring at him.

"That's not why I'm here," Neal tells him.

"My weakness," Gold mutters.

"Put the spear down," he pleads with him.

"You're here to question my resolve. But you won't succeed. I will sacrifice my life for Henry. And nothing will stand in my way!" The Dark One snaps.

"Please, papa," Cassidy gasps quietly.

"Bae? Is that really you?" Gold whispers, looking at his son.

"Yeah," Neal replies, and Gold drops the spear on the ground, rushing at his son and embracing him tightly.

"I thought I'd lost you forever," he mutters.

"Charming," Landon grumbles, walking away. "I'm gonna find my Nephew."

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

"I was thinking…" Rumpelstiltskin says, walking into his hovel with a crown. "Only a King should live in a castle. So why don't you try this on for size? Bae?"

(BEWITCHING)

"All right, now listen. We'll start organising search parties right away," the Mayor of Hamelin village spoke to the villagers as the Dark One walked through.

"You think you can hide him from me?" Rumpelstiltskin asked, making everyone turn to him, and a woman gasped. "Where is he? Where's my son?!" The villagers murmured, looking at the Dark One.

"He's not here, Dark One. I swear!" He assured him.

"Don't lie to me! Magic has led me to this rathole of a town! His trail ends here, in Hamelin. I know you're hiding him from me," the Dark One snapped.

"No. No, we're not. Many of our children went missing last night, lured from their beds by some unholy music," the Mayor explained.

"What kind of music?" Rumpelstiltskin questioned.

"From the Piper. Only the children could hear it," he told him. "Some of them tried telling their parents, but no one believed them. They were sent back to bed. And this morning, they were gone."

"And who was playing it?" The Dark One wondered.

"No one saw his face. O...Only a figure hidden by a pied cloak of multicolor patches, leading the children from their homes and into the forest. Don't you see? It...It has to be the same man that has taken your son," the Mayor stuttered nervously.

"Then whoever this Pied Piper is, he's about to play his late note," Rumpelstiltskin sneered angrily.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

"How is it possible?" Mr Gold asks, looking at his son.

"It's kind of a long story. Let's just say that the debt Robin Hood owes you has been paid," Neal replies.

"You were back in our land? With Landon?" He questions, frowning.

"Yeah, but we made it here. The only thing that matters now is that I help Emma save Henry. Where is she?" Cassidy asks, looking around as if expecting her to appear suddenly. "Wait, where's Landon gone?" He looks around and sees Landon has disappeared. "He bloody left!"

"It's probably for the best," Rumpelstiltskin argues, thinking Landon is better equipped to deal with this deadly situation than his son. "I left her and the rest of them aboard Hook's ship. As noble as their intentions may be, they don't have the stomach to do what needs to be done."

"Like what you did to these boys? They're not, uh…" Neal wonders, gesturing to the trees.

"No, they're just sleeping. For now," Mr Gold tells him.

"Let's leave it that way, okay?" He argues.

"You don't have the stomach either," the Dark One retorts.

"I'll do what needs to be done. But kill Lost Boys? We don't have to do that," Baelfire retorts, not wanting to kill anyone.

"We shall see," Mr Gold mutters.

"So I take it you have a plan? The whole 'sacrifice your life' thing was just you being dramatic," Neal questions, looking at his father.

"Well, it's the only way. Pan's too powerful. You can only bait him if you're willing to die, which I am," he argues.

"What if I told you there was another way?" Cassidy replies, making Mr Gold look at him.

(BEWITCHING)

"So what exactly is your plan?" Mr Gold asks Neal as they make it to the shore of Neverland, trying to enact Neal's plan.

"You know how if you hold a shell up to your ear you can hear the ocean? Certain shells, the ocean can hear you," Neal replies, blowing into a conch shell.

"Why would we need the ocean to hear us?" He wonders, watching. "What have you done?"

"Give me the spear," Baelfire asks as a squid appears from the ocean's depths, roaring and growling, and Neal takes the spear, striking the giant squid.

"A squid?" The Dark One questions, frowning.

"That's right. I believe you know how to extract ink from one of these bad boys," Neal remarks, smirking.

"Squid ink. So this is your plan?" Mr Gold asks him.

"It can immobilise the most magical of creatures. At least for a little while…" he replies as the water laps. "Even Pan."

"I have some experience with it," Rumpelstiltskin muses.

"Can you get it out?" Baelfire asks him.

"Indeed. But how do you plan on getting close enough to use it?" Mr Gold wonders, sighing.

"I don't need to get close. All I need is one clean shot to get Henry back," Neal argues.

"Well, leave that to me," he assures him.

(BEWITCHING)

Meanwhile, Landon strolls through the Dark Jungle after leaving Neal and Mr Gold; he uses his magic to track Regina and has his old pocket watch she gave him for his birthday a few years back. "I'll find you…" Landon mutters, determined to find his sister and Emma.

(BEWITCHING)

"What is this supposed to be?" Regina asks Emma, looking around the place, seeing nothing to the naked eye.

"So...what, Neal swung out of Neverland on a vine?" Emma questions, frowning.

"Well, if someone would be kind enough to lend me a hand... What do you say, Saviour?" Killian asks, moving towards a lot of vines.

"I'll do it," David suggests, moving with Killian towards the vines.

"You don't look so hot, mate," he mutters.

"It's a hundred degrees in this damn jungle. And I'm plenty hot," Charming grumbles, pushing the stone away from the cave where Neal hid from Pan.

"Ladies first," Hook says, letting the women inside first. "How much longer do you think you can keep up this charade?" He asks David. "Don't you think your family deserves to know you're gonna die?"

"What do you care?" David argues.

"Why don't you?" Killian questions.

"What is the good in telling them when there is nothing I can do to stop the poison, when there is no hope?" He asks.

"Well, if there's one thing I've gleaned from you hero types, it's that there's always hope." Hook argues.

"Is there something you're not telling me, mate?" The Prince questions, looking at him.

"Alas, hope and reality are most often worlds apart. I told you the truth. You'll never make it off this island alive," Killian tells him.

"Well... Then this is between us. The only thing they need to worry about saving is Henry," David snaps.

"Hook! What is this place? What are we doing here?" Emma asks him and then looks around in realisation. "Neal. This is where he lived."

"Aye," Killian replies, setting down a flint. "Baelfire spent some time in Neverland as a boy. This was his home."

"So you think he may have left a clue as to how he escaped from here?" Mary Margaret wonders, looking around.

"Well, let's hope so, or we'll be lost just like he was," he tells them.

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

A distinct pipe melody played with boys whooping and laughing, with drums playing continuously inside the forest far away from the village. "Bae! Bae!" Rumpelstiltskin shouted, looking for his son, but there was no answer. "Bae! Where is my son, Piper?"

"Is that what they're calling me? We both know who I really am," Peter Pan remarked, walking towards Rumpelstiltskin, who glared at him. "Been a long time, laddie. Glad you could make the show. You surprised to see me, Rumple? I don't blame you. I'm a little surprised myself. Look who's all grown up and become The Dark One! Good for you."

"What are you doing here?" He snapped, glaring at him.

"It's lonely in Neverland. The only friends I have are the children who visit in their dreams. But they can't stay. The boys I take back with me will," Pan replied calmly.

"You're here for my son," the Dark One realised.

"I am," Peter confirmed.

"It's gonna take a lot more than a magic pipe to take my son," Rumpelstiltskin argued.

"The only thing magic about this pipe is that only certain boys can hear it... boys who feel unloved, boys who feel lost. I guess that's why you can hear it, Rumple. Isn't it?" Pan mused, smirking.

"Don't pretend to know me. You don't. Not anymore," he snapped.

"Oh, I think I do. Beneath all that power, you're nothing more than an unloved, lonely, lost boy. Hey, I like the sound of that. That's what I'll call my new group of friends. The lost boys. It has a nice ring, don't you think?" Peter retorted, looking at the Dark One.

"You can call them whatever you like. Baelfire will not be part of it," the Dark One argued.

"Oh, he's already a part of it. The question is, what are you willing to do to get him back?" Pan wondered.

"I'm gonna make you regret ever asking that question," Rumpelstiltskin snapped.

"Oh, I understand you're upset. Most parents' worst fear is that their child will be taken away from them. But that's not yours, is it, Rumple?" He mused, smirking. "No. You're not afraid Baelfire will be taken from you. You're afraid he'll leave. After all, being abandoned is what you're good at, isn't it? Everyone you've ever known has left, haven't they? Like Bae's mother Milah. Not to mention your own father. Why should Baelfire be any different?"

"You're wrong," the Dark One sneered.

"Am I? Well, let's find out, shall we? You ask Baelfire if he wants to come to Neverland with me or stay here with you. If he wants to stay, I'll leave and never return. Deal?" Peter asked him.

"I don't have to make any deals with you," Rumpelstiltskin argued.

"But why wouldn't you, if you're so sure he'll stay?" Pan mused.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

Inside Pan's camp, the Lost Boys dance around the fire, whooping and drumming, having fun. "You don't want to join in the celebration, Henry?" Pan asks him.

"Nothing to celebrate," Henry argues.

"Nothing to celebrate?" He questions, chuckling. "Henry, this whole party is to celebrate you."

"Me? Why?" The Mills boy asks, frowning.

"Because you've come to save magic, of course. And I, for one, can't think of a reason more deserving of celebration than that. Just look at them," Peter reasons, gesturing to the dancing Lost Boys.

"I'm not like them. Or you," Henry snaps.

"Sure you are. You're still a boy. Maybe a song will get you on your feet," Pan suggests, blowing into his pipes, but there's no music, just air.

"Sorry. I... I don't hear anything," he tells Pan, surprising the immortal teen.

"Interesting. You see, this pipe's enchanted, Henry. It can only be heard by certain children," the green-clad teen explains.

"Like who?" The Mayor's son asks.

"You'll find out soon enough, I promise," Pan assures him and spots Felix, heading to his loyalist Lost Boy. "What? I know that look. What happened?"

"Baelfire. I'm afraid he got away," Felix informs him. "And so did the Historian."

"Well, then why didn't you get him back?" He asks angrily.

"I tried. I followed his trail and found two of our sentries knocked out... By a sleeping spell," the blond Lost Boy replies.

"The Dark One. So father and son have been reunited," Peter mutters, thinking of the next steps in his plan.

"I also found another three sentries knocked out. I think it was his work," Felix tells him. "They'll be coming for the boy. We should move him somewhere safe."

"Now, now, Felix. Where's your sense of adventure? We can't end the party when the real fun is about to begin," Peter argues, smirking.

(BEWITCHING)

The Save Henry group looks around Baelfire's cave for clues to escape Neverland. "Anything important?" Killian asks Emma, seeing her looking at the drawings on the rock walls.

"I can't tell yet. I didn't know he liked drawing," Emma replies.

"He got it from his mother," he remarks, smiling softly.

"I'm hoping Neal left something useful in the details of one of these. Maybe a map? Some kind of clue. Hand me that candle. What about you? Any luck?" She asks the pirate Captain.

"No potted bean plant or swirling vortex under the rug, if that's what you mean. There may be no rug at all. There are other drawings on the far wall, but as far as I can tell, that's all they are. Probably just a way to pass the time and keep occupied," Hook replies, shrugging.

"You knew him pretty well, didn't you?" The blond woman questions, glancing at him over her shoulder.

"We spent some time together. You all right there, Swan?" Killian asks her.

"I'm fine. Looks like you're right. They're just a bunch of pictures. What's all this?" Emma wonders, looking at her parents, who are searching for something.

"Uh, just some cups and bowls he fashioned from things he found here," Mary Margaret informs her, showing them.

"Don't know how great a cup this coconut could make. It's filled with holes," David remarks, showing them the item.

"Uh, maybe it's a tiny colander," she muses.

"Yes, because preteen Baelfire probably made lots of pasta," Regina snaps sarcastically.

"Hold on. Hook, snuff out that torch," Emma tells him, stepping towards it, taking the coconut, lighting the candle and placing the holed coconut.

"Am I supposed to be impressed that he made a night-light?" She questions, frowning.

"Look up," the blond woman tells them, and everyone looks up to see stars dancing on the ceiling.

"Stars," Mary Margaret mutters, impressed.

"It's a map," Killian corrects her.

"To where?" David questions.

"Home," Emma whispers.

(BEWITCHING)

The Lost Boys yip and grunt as the wind blows inside Pan's camp. "We have a guest!" Peter announces as the sleeping spell spreads through the camp, causing all the Lost Boys and Henry to fall asleep. "No doubt someone who knows how much I like guessing games. Who could it be? I guess…" The fire whooshes from the strong breeze. "The Dark One. Come to save Henry, have you, laddie?" Stepping forward. "How exciting," he whispers. "The Dark One ready to sacrifice his life for his family. Speaking of family…" The fire whooshes again. "You can come out now, Baelfire."

"Name's Neal now," Baelfire replies, stalking into the camp.

"New name, but the same old tricks," he muses. "It's heartwarming to see father and son working together, especially after you abandoned him, Rumple. This is a real family reunion."

"What are you waiting for?" Mr Gold asks, stepping into the camp.

"I got this," Neal assures his dad, firing the arrow, but Peter catches it, smirking.

"Clever. But we've been through this before, Baelfire. Have you remembered nothing?" Peter questions.

"I remember plenty," he argues as Peter drops the arrow with a clatter onto the ground. "That's why I didn't coat the tip." The squid ink begins working, freezing the immortal teen.

"Grab Henry," Mr Gold tells Neal, who quickly rushes to his son's side and grabs him.

"Well, how about that? I'm impressed. But are you sure you're really saving him, Bae?" Peter questions, trying to divide father and son.

"What could be worse than leaving him here with you?" Neal wonders, looking at him.

"Why don't you ask your father? Sometimes the people we should fear the most are the ones closest to us," he suggests.

"W…What's he talking about?" Baelfire asks, looking at his father.

"Don't listen to him," Mr Gold tells him.

"You mean you haven't told him?" Peter questions, already knowing the answer.

"Told me what?" Neal asks, looking between them.

"Why, about the prophecy, of course," he replies, smirking.

"What prophecy? What's he mean?" Cassidy snaps, looking at the Dark One.

"The prophecy that says you've been tricked. Your father isn't here to rescue your son. He's here to murder him," Pan announces as Gold and Neal walk away with Henry in his father's arms.

(BEWITCHING)

"What the hell was he talking about?" Neal asks Mr Gold, walking through the jungle as they try to get as far away from Pan as possible.

"Oh, don't mind him," Mr Gold dismisses, looking around.

"He said you were gonna murder Henry!" He snaps, glaring at his father.

"He plays games. Mind games. The important thing is we got the boy, and we got away," the Dark One argues with him.

"Where are we?" Baelfire wonders, looking around.

"The other side of the island. We're safe here for the time being," Mr Gold informs his son.

"Hey. Hey, Henry. It's me. Hey, it's your dad," Neal tries, waking Henry as he lies his son on the ground, but Henry is still under the sleeping spell.

"No, he…he can't hear you," he tells him.

"Then wake him up," Cassidy snaps, turning to his father.

"Pulling him out of the spell could be dangerous. He'll wake naturally in a few hours. He'll be fine," Rumpelstiltskin assures him.

"All right. Then you can explain to me what the hell Pan meant?" Neal asks him. "This prophecy that he's talking about, why would he say that you'd kill Henry?"

"Oh, I don't know, to create a wedge between us," he argues.

"That's not a denial. No, this has to do with what happened when I found you," Baelfire snaps. "You thought I was a hallucination. You said that you had to do the right thing and save Henry! What did that really mean?"

"Baelfire…" The Dark One mutters, looking at his son hopelessly.

"It's Neal! Now stop dodging and tell me what's going on!" Neal yells.

"There was a seer, and she told me of a prophecy…that boy would help reunite me with you. And that boy… Would be my undoing," he explains.

"Henry," Cassidy mutters, looking at his father.

"I didn't know it was gonna be my own grandson, till I found you in New York and discovered you were his father," Rumpelstiltskin argues.

"You were planning on getting rid of him, whoever he was, weren't you? To try and cheat fate? To get around the prophecy? You cold-blooded son of a bitch. You were gonna kill him," Neal snaps, glaring at his father.

"Yes," Mr Gold confesses.

"Get back," he growls. "You stay away from him!"

"That was then. Things have changed. I…I didn't come here to Neverland to hurt Henry. I came here to save him," the Dark One assures him, wanting to show him that he's changed.

"After what you just told me, I'm supposed to believe you?!" Baelfire snaps, glaring at him.

"I won't lie to you, Bae," Mr Gold tells him. "Self-preservation has been a nasty habit I've had my whole life, but I came here to break it, to do the right thing and to save your son. Even if that meant sacrificing my own life." He looks at Neal. "You have to trust me." He mutters heartfully.

"How can I?" Neal whispers, looking back at him.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Enchanted Forest. Past) -

In the woods of the Enchanted Forest, drums played as the boys whoop happily, dancing and playing around. "You don't even recognise him, do you, Rumple?" Peter asked the Dark One, smirking as he watched Rumpelstiltskin try to find his son amongst the boys.

"Well, how could I when he's wearing a mask?" Rumpelstiltskin snapped.

"Well, he might be wearing a mask, but that's not the reason. Look at him… Playing with other boys, out in the world. He's happy, Rumple. That's why you don't recognise him," he argued, grinning.

"Bae," the Dark One panted, spotting his son and snatching the mask from Baelfire's face. "Baelfire. Are you all right?"

"I'm fine. Why are you here?" Baelfire asked his father, confused at seeing him suddenly.

"I know you think I don't care about you, son, but I do. And I'm here to prove it," Rumpelstiltskin assured him.

"How?" He questioned, frowning.

"Go ahead, Rumple," Peter voiced, watching.

"Papa! What are you doing?!" The boy exclaimed as Rumpelstiltskin grabbed his son.

"I'm protecting you," Rumpelstiltskin said before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

"You're gonna regret not taking my deal, Rumple!" Peter shouted, watching them disappear.

(BEWITCHING)

"Don't touch me! Get away!" Baelfire snapped, pushing his father away once they returned home.

"It's all right now, Bae. you're safe," Rumpelstiltskin assured him.

"Safe? I was never in danger," he argued. "The Piper was my friend!"

"He may have wanted you to think that. But you have to believe me. He would've hurt you," the Dark One told him.

"Why? Who is he? Another person that you abused with your power?" The boy wondered, glaring.

"His name is Peter Pan. I've known him since I was a boy. Growing up, we were incredibly close," Rumpelstiltskin explained.

"What happened?" Baelfire asked him.

"All that matters is that he fooled me for a long time before I'd finally seen his true nature, and it is darker and more repulsive than you should ever be exposed to!" He exclaimed.

"He can't be any worse than you," the boy argued, hurting his father's feelings.

"I had to protect you, Bae. I didn't have a choice," the Dark One told him, knowing Peter would cause a drift between them.

"Stop lying because I know that you did!" Baelfire snapped. "I know about the deal Pan offered you. He said all you had to do was ask me if I wanted to come home."

"He told you?" Rumpelstiltskin whispered.

"He said that way I'd know if you really trusted me, if you really cared," he grumbled.

"Oh, please, Bae," the Dark One gasped, heartbroken.

"You didn't need to," the boy replied, making Rumpelstiltskin look at him in shock. "I would've chosen to come home. I would've chosen you! If only you asked. Maybe we could've found a way to be a family again."

"We can be. Bae. Bae!" Rumplestiltskin shouted after his son as the boy stormed out of their house.

(BEWITCHING)

- (Neverland. Present) -

"Tell me what I have to do to gain your trust, and I will," Mr Gold begs, looking at his son across the clearing.

"Give me The Dark One dagger," Neal suggests. "I know you. I know you wouldn't come all the way to Neverland without it. It's the only thing that can control you. It's the only thing that could stop you. You wouldn't take any chances with it."

"I don't have it," he replies.

"Why you lying?" Baelfire snaps.

"I'm not lying to you, Bae. I hid it so Pan couldn't get it, so he couldn't stop me," the Dark One explains.

"So un-hide it!" Neal yells.

"My shadow took it," Mr Gold laughs.

"Your shadow. Man, you got an answer for everything, don't you?" He scoffs, shaking his head in disbelief.

"I'm telling you the truth, I swear," Rumpelstiltskin promises him.

"You know, maybe you did hide it. Maybe you do want to do the right thing. But that's today. What about tomorrow?" Cassidy asks him.

"I've changed," Mr Gold assures him.

"Have you?" Neal questions.

"Yes," he replies.

"The prophecy still stands. You save him, he's still your undoing," Baelfire argues.

"I'm still willing to die for him," the Dark One assures him.

"What happens if we get back, and you're reunited with Belle, and you realise that the only thing standing between you and your happy ending is my son? And suddenly, 'undoing' doesn't sound so great," Neal questions, not trusting his dad's words.

"You're my happy ending," Mr Gold tells him. "This is, because it's my redemption. I can be strong, son, if you have faith in me." He lowers his voice in desperation.

"You know, when I was living here and sleeping in a cave, I used to dream of you coming to rescue me. But then I'd wake up and remember how you left me behind. You left your own son behind for the power of that dagger. How can I think that things would ever be any different?" he argues before using the squid ink on his own father.

"Neal. What are you doing?" Rumpelstiltskin asks, watching his son take Henry into his arms again.

"I'm gonna find Emma and the others and get the hell off this island. Then I'm gonna get my family back home," Cassidy tells him, heading off.

"You can't go into the jungle alone. Without my power to protect you, Pan will capture you both!" Mr Gold shouts after him.

"I'm sorry, I got no choice. We're safer without you. Goodbye, Papa," Neal replies, crying as he leaves his father behind.

(BEWITCHING)

"How can you be so sure it's a map?" Mary Margaret asks, looking at the stars on the cave ceiling.

"That was a short time in Neverland when Baelfire was aboard my ship. I taught him to navigate using the stars," Killian informs them. "What you're looking at is the fruit of my labours."

"Then you can read it," Regina questions, looking at the pirate Captain.

"Sadly, no," he replies.

"I thought you just said you taught him how," Cora argues, looking at her former partner in crime.

"Yes, but I also taught Neal something else. The key to being a pirate…secrecy. The best Captains conceal their maps in a code. He was apt pupil," Hook tells them.

"So you're saying the only person who can read this map is Neal?" Mary Margaret asks, frowning.

"Which means the only person who can read it is dead," Emma sighs, walking out of the cave.

"Emma, wait!" David calls after her.

"Now is not the time," she snaps.

"I can't even imagine the sadness you must be feeling," Mary Margaret comments, looking at her daughter.

"I'm not sad," the blond woman argues. "I'm pissed. Yes, Neal just died, but I lost him years ago." Her voice breaks a little. "But I never thought I was gonna lose Landon, he was supposed to be my fresh start… My everything. With Neal, it was too late, I knew that from the start when he came back. I can't tell Landon how angry and lost I feel without him, that I need him to help me find Henry, the one thing I have left that's keeping me tethered." Emma walks away, needing a moment alone.

"She'll be okay," David assures his wife.

"Really?" Mary Margaret asks him.

"We have done everything we can," he tells her,

"But that's the problem," she argues, her voice breaking a little. "I have no idea how to comfort my own daughter. It is the first thing a mother learns, and I don't know how."

"I know. I feel the same way. But she is so upset, we have to get…" Charming reasons.

"How can we even blame her? If you died, I would not be able to move on," Snow mutters, tearing up.

"You must," David says, slipping up and stammering an answer. "I'm just saying. Every day we're here, something bad could happen. And if it did to me, I'd want you to move on, to continue, to be happy."

"That's really sweet, but nothing is going to happen to you, not while I'm here," Mary Margaret whispers before walking away, leaving David alone, sighing as he thinks about the Dreamshade coursing through his veins and making its way to his heart.

(BEWITCHING)

"Emma," Neal mutters, looking around at the deserted campsite. Having missed Emma and the others, he places Henry by the cold fire.

"You were so close to finding her. You disappoint me, I thought I taught you better. Never break in somewhere unless you know the way out," Peter scoffs, looking at his former Lost Boy.

"I'll remember that for next time," he retorts, glaring at the immortal teen.

"Well, there isn't going to be a next time," Pan argues. "But don't blame yourself. Your father could have protected you out here, sure. But then who would've protected Henry from him? Talk about a rock and hard place."

"I will get my son back, no matter what it takes," Baelfire promises, glaring at Pan as Lost Boys appear from the trees surrounding the campsite.

"You're not getting it," Peter groans. "That's not the problem. You got him. I got him back. It's the game. No, my boy, the real problem for you is that there is no escaping Neverland. No one gets off this island without my permission."

"I've done it before," Neal argues.

"Did you?" He questions, making Neal look at him in shock. "Look where you are now. It's like you never left."

"You saying you let me go?" Cassidy snaps.

"I'm saying everyone's where I want them," Pan replies cockily, and Henry groans, waking up from the sleeping spell. "Something to chew on. You know where to take him." He tells Felix, who takes Henry into his arms.

"No! Henry!" Neal shouts, looking at the Lost Boys, who zero in on him.

"Oh, don't worry. It won't be for very long," Peter assures him.

"I'm alive!" He screams as he watches his son disappear into the trees.

"Just until I reset the board. See, the game is about to change," the green-clad teen informs him as the Lost Boys surround Neal.

"Don't give up hope, Henry! I will come for you! I promise!" Baelfire shouts, and the Lost Boys capture him and lead him away to the Echo Caves, following Peter Pan's new plan. Landon hides behind a tree, looking at Peter, hoping he doesn't notice him as he watches the Lost Boys take Neal captive again. Landon sighs and carefully walks around the clearing, not wanting to be seen by the immortal teen, as he follows the other Lost Boys, taking Henry to tell Emma where they're holding him before finding her and the others.

(BEWITCHING)

Mr Gold goes to the cliff, needing to clear his mind after Neal left him and took Henry earlier. "I'm so sorry, Rumple. Neal should have trusted you," Belle says, making Mr Gold look at her as she appears beside him.

"How could he? After everything I've done?" Mr Gold argues, knowing why his son did it.

"Well… He may not know what was in your heart, but I do. You would've protected Henry. You would've even given your own life to show Neal that you've changed," she reasons.

"Are you asking me, or do you truly believe that?" He asks her.

"I know it with all my heart," the bookworm replies. "What I don't know is why you look so upset now. I mean, Rumple, he's alive. Baelfire. You have something to live for."

"But the prophecy remains. Henry's still my undoing," the Dark One argues.

"That's why you're upset. You were so determined to die for the boy, but now? Having something to live for has brought back that nasty habit of self-preservation, hasn't it? Rumple… Habits can be broken, can't they?" Belle reasons.

"Go away, Belle. I don't want to talk right now," Mr Gold snaps, needing to think things through before he does anything else, unaware that Neal has been captured by Peter and the Lost Boys.

(BEWITCHING)

The party starts again as Henry sleeps, pretending that the Lost Boys drink and dance, whooping around the fire as if nothing happened. "What happened?" Henry groans, waking up from the sleeping spell and getting up, looking around.

"Oh, you fell asleep," Peter says, lying and keeping him in the dark about what's happening.

"I did?" He asks, frowning.

"No, don't worry. It was just a little catnap," Pan assures him, lying as it's hard to tell. "The night's still young."

"Wait. I…I remember something," the Mills boy mutters, looking at the immortal teen. "My dad… When I was asleep, I…I could've sworn I heard him calling for me."

"Really?" Peter questions, growing a little concerned, but he can spin it.

"It must've been a dream," Henry argues, thinking his dad is dead.

"Well, how can you be sure?" He asks him, keeping calm.

"Because… 'Cause my dad's dead," the Mayor's son replies sadly.

"I'm sorry, Henry. It makes sense for us to dream about the things we've lost and the things we hoped for, like your father being alive and your mother coming to find you. But eventually, you'll find new things to dream about. And when you do, they'll start to come true," Pan assures him, sweetening the boy.

"How do you know?" Henry wonders, looking at the green-clad teen.

"Because that's what I did," Peter replies. "And now you're here. Neverland used to be a place where new dreams were born. You can bring that magic back, Henry. And we can be your family. I'd like to play a song, a song for our guest of honour…Henry." He takes out his pipes and begins playing a melody, but Henry can hear it this time, falling under the spell. "You can hear the music now, can't you, Henry?" He asks, his voice echoing.

"Yeah!" The Mills boy exclaims, jumping up and dancing with the Lost Boys as they yip and whoop around the fire and listen to the melody as Peter watches, smirking.
