Harry stared at the man with fear, he seemed to have a light gray aura, surrounding him. Sweat dropped down Harry's face as he felt a pressure surround him, now he would never admit this for a long time, but he peed himself a bit in that moment. Harry took a breath before he spoke, "Lucius, what are you doing here?" came the voice of Professor Snape behind him. Harry sighed in relief, It seemed Mr Snape knew him.

"Ahh, Severus, I assume you are in charge of this one here" The man named Lucius said as he gestured to Harry. "Yes, I am indeed in charge of Mr Potter here." a look of realization appeared in Lucius's eyes for a small moment. "I see... I myself am here with Draco and my Wife, one of our last stops actually."

"Father, I'm done here" Draco, Harry presumed, said as he appeared. Draco looked a lot like his father, the same hair, eyes, and facial build, he was a bit taller than Harry, granted that wasn't hard to beat considering the years of malnourishment.

'So, he's had a child.' a dark voice whispered from the back of Harry's mind. 'Shut it.' Harry snaps at the voice with a bit of fear, A deep laugh bellows from within Harry's mind, 'As you request, but do not forget, I'll always be here, whether you like it or not. As I am, I may be restricted to just your mind, but once I gain my power back, our places will switch, and you will watch as I slaughter.'

Harry's mind flashed back to that bright green light, 'No... I won't let what happened to me happen to others, I swear it, I'll defeat you permanently, even if it means I go down as well' before Tom could respond Harry noticed Snape tapping on his shoulder, as he looked up again he saw Draco with him hand outstretched, "It's nice to meet you, Heir Potter, I hope to see you in Slytherin"

"Oh! umm" Harry stuttered out as he took Draco's hand, "It's nice to meet you as well..." Harry looked up to Snape for an answer, "Heir Malfoy" Severus quickly answered. "It's nice to meet you, Heir Malfoy" Harry said nervously.

It had been a few hours since that conversation, Professor Snape had finished shopping with him, Harry now had all of the items on his list. Well, plus a few Snape insisted on him having, such as "Essential Theories for the Aspiring Potioneer" and "The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self Protection" to name a couple.

Harry was now sat in his new room, before Snape had left he... Convinced, the Dursleys to move him to a better room. Harry was liking the man more and more. While looking at Hedwig, his new owl, he thought back to what Snape had said before he left. "Harry. While, I may not have been the nicest person to your mother, I still cared about her." Harry perked up at this, he didn't know that Snape knew his mother, Harry looked at Snape, not noticing the tear that threatened to escape Severus's eye "I will do my best to turn you into a great wizard, greater than Dumbledore, greater than your parents."

As Snape finished his sentence, he handed Harry a train ticket for platform 9 3/4, before disappearing in a loud crack. Harry sat in his bed for hours thinking about what Snape had said, before slowly falling asleep.

Snape walked through the corridors of Hogwarts, approaching the headmasters office. Snape looked at the stone gargoyle in front of him, "Peach Rings" He stated clearly. The gargoyle bowed before revealing the passage to the office. As he walked up the steps slowly, Snape thought back to the condition he found Harry in, just thinking of it made his blood boil. Though he didn't show it in front of Harry, he truly was worried for his safety.

Magic was pouring off of Servers, becoming visible due to his now unsuppressed emotions. An aura of pure, unrestrained power encasing him. He reached the top of the stairs to see a shocked Albus Dumbledore, "Now Severus, surely there is no need for" "Did you know?" "There is no need for this" "Did you know?!" Severus shouted at the most powerful wizard in britain. "Did you know of the conditions? Do you know the state I found him in?!"

"Now Severus, it couldn't have been that bad" "He looked thinner than a house elf!" Severus shouted at the top of his lungs, the aura of power around him slowly growing, scaring even the portraits. Albus stepped back, he had never known that Severus had possessed this much power, not that he would have admitted that he didn't know.

"What's more, is that he's a horcrux for that man, while also being a partial obscurus." a look of shock came across Albus's face, "An obscurus?" He whispered to himself, an appalled look crossed Severus's face, "You knew... You knew he was a horcrux, and you did nothing?"

"You do not understand Severus, it is for" "Yes, for the greater good you say, that's all you ever say, I think it's about time that I did something."

Albus looked Snape in the eyes, a silvery aura of magic starting to flare off of Dumbledore, "And what would that be? What could a lowly death eater like you do?"

Severus looked him in the eyes, a look of contemplation crossing his face, he would not let Albus win. Then it clicked, he knew what he had to do. "I'll take away your power over him, I'll make him my apprentice, and you can't do anything about that." a grin appeared across Severus's face, Dumbledore's eyes widened, if Severus became Harry's mentor, then Harry would be in the legal custody of Severus and not himself.
