Evil Blue Flame vs Heroic Fire-Ice Friend

"I see, so the first ambush plan failed and now those idiots from the Rebel army are going to escort him to the rebuild Fire Kingdom." A man was briefed by one of the Horde soldiers who managed to get away from Shoto's ice attack.

"He was far more powerful than we expected. He just took out the entire troop in one fell swoop!" One Horde soldier flinched from the memory of that moment.

"I told the big boss that sending in the weak asses was a bad idea, even if they try sending a hundred soldiers, that kid would still freeze them before they could even point their guns at him." The man mocked.

"What do we do now, Force Captain Dabi?" The survivor soldier asked.

"Well, since the first ambush didn't work… That means it's my turn to have some fun." Dabi smirked creepy and dangerously.

Dabi is a reasonably tall, pale young man of slim shape but somewhat muscular build, described as in his early twenties. He wears black here and his eyes are thin, turquoise, and heavily lidded. His most striking features are undoubtedly the patches of gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that cover much of his lower face and neck, all the way down past his collarbone, below his eyes, around his torso, and on his arms and legs. These appear to be attached to the rest of his skin by multiple crude surgical staples or hoop piercings. He has several silver cartilage piercings in both ears and a triple nostril piercing on the right side of his nose. Upon closer inspection, he also lacks earlobes on both sides of his ears. He wears a dark blue jacket with a high, ripped collar, matching pants cut off above his ankles, and a pair of dark dress shoes on his feet. He also has a plain pale gray, scoop-neck shirt, below which a gray belt with a circular pattern wraps around his waist, a leather satchel attached at the back.

"But first…" Dabi looked down at the survivor soldier.

"I have to take care of the trash." Dabi said moving one hand up to the soldier.

"Huh?" The soldier was confused, then started to get really scared.

Dabi grins a little wider than before as he aims his hand right at the face of the survivor soldier's face and a tiny spark of fire emits though the color is blue rather than the usual orange and red when fire is being made.

"S-Sir, wait!" The soldier started to panic as he moves back.

"Don't be a coward. You should take your punishment for failing the mission like a man, at least try to keep your dignity intact." Dabi smirked; the blue spark grew into a fire consuming his hand.

The Horde soldier couldn't believe what is going to happen right now. After all he has done for the Horde, being loyalty to the very group he signed up for, to change Etheria into a dark and better world, this is the thanks he gets for everything he's done even putting his life on the line.

The soldier screams in fear and turns around to run away from being killed by his superior.

However, he barely got far, about three feet as a giant stream of blue flame completely engulfs the soldier and that fire burned away some trees along the way as well.

Dabi stops his fire attack and walks over to the very burned up corpse of the soldier, now dead and no longer his problem.

"From what I understand, Shoto has been refusing to use his fire magic and only been using his ice magic." Dabi mentioned.

"In that case, let see if he'll still refuse to use his fire once he gets a taste of mine." Dabi smirked as he starts walking.

"Now, better make my way to the spot ahead halfway point to meet the prince and his stupid rebelling friends." Dabi chuckled excitedly.

Dabi leaves behind the devastating scene of the forest that he was staying at for the moment has mostly been burned to ashes and the blue fire is still simmering.

(With Deku and Others)

The scene shows the group still on their escorting mission to bring Shoto to the Fire Kingdom, and they are doing that by riding a Horde tank that they found around the time the Best Friend Squad found Shoto and the giant ice.

"Do you think the soldiers would mind that we took one of their tanks?" Shoto asked.

"Are you serious? They're the enemies, who gives a fuck what we take from them since they're the ones that has been taking things from Etheria by force!" Ochaco stated.

"Yeah, but we're also doing the same which probably makes us no better than them or some other thieves." Shoto shrugged.

"I kinda agree with you, but this is an emergency since the Fire Kingdom is pretty far away and we need to get there as fast as possible." Bow pointed out.

"It's a good thing you know how to drive on, Adora." Deku said to the She-Ra.

"Yeah, got some extra credit driving lessons to drive any vehicle to be ready for anything!" Adora grinned.

"Ready to fight us had you remain with the Hordes?" Shoto asked bluntly, that causes Adora to feel sad and slightly sink into her seat.

"At the speed we're going, we should be able to reach the Fire Kingdom plenty of time to spare for you to get ready for the celebration and your coronation." Deku calculated they'll make it.

"That's good to hear." Shoto said.

"So, Shoto… I know you don't like to talk about your dad with what you told us, but what about your siblings? Any good stories about them?" Bow asked.

"Are you pushing to make him feel down even more?" Glimmer punched Bow in the arm.

"What? I figured his siblings has common ground about not liking his dad much." Bow said.

Shoto took a moment to think about this and decided to share a little bit about his siblings.

"My oldest sibling is my sister. Her name is Fuyumi and she's really kind, caring for others and even teaches at her own school which is not something you would expect from a princess. Heck, she even cares enough about our dad." Shoto explained, starting with Fuyumi.

"There's the second oldest, Natsuno. He seems to be the easy-going kind of guy though I'm not entirely sure since I haven't spent much time with him nor Fuyumi. But one thing I do know is that he holds dear hatred to our father for all that he has done to our mom and neglecting my siblings. Well, except for one." Shoto mentioned Natsuno.

"Wow, now I'm starting to feel relief that I don't have a dad." Adora commented, hoping whoever her dad was wasn't like Shoto's dad.

"Out of all the children in the family, father actually acknowledged another besides me and shown some respect, her name is Frosta." Shoto revealed.

"Oh, I heard of her! She's the youngest elemental princess in history and said to have a stronger connection with the Runestone when the oldest princess, and her ice powers are also powerful!" Deku recalled hearing some stories about Frosta.

"That's her. My father seems to have also taken interest in Frosta, giving her some attention and even trained her to make her ice strong which she actually didn't mind." Shoto explained.

"Oh, I guess that means you two don't get along since you hate your dad." Bow said.

"Actually, we get along great despite our different opinions towards our dad." Shoto mentioned which shocks Bow.

Suddenly they felt the tank made a complete stop that causes it to tilt forward a little.

"Adora, what's going on? Why have we stop?" Glimmer asked.

"The path is being blocked." Deku answered.

"By a giant wall of blue fire." Adora finished that sentence.

True to her words, there is a giant wall made of blue fire blocking the way as they just went through the halfway point of their journey, and they can tell this is no normal fire.

"Did something cause that fire?" Glimmer asked.

"More like someone." Deku glared at the blue fire wall.

"And I fear that someone may come to attack us at any moment!" Shoto said as he jumps out of the tank.

"He's right, we should be ready for anything." Deku nodded.

Suddenly a blue fire attack came at the tank, but Shoto was able to react to this quickly forming a big ice wall to block the sudden fire attack. Unfortunately, the blue fire is melting through the ice, so he decided to move the tank out of the way so that it wouldn't get melted.

"Are you okay?" Bow asked concern for Shoto's safety.

"I'm alright, but it looks like we're gonna be in for a fight." Shoto glared at the ice wall that melting from one spot and a big hole was made.

"I have to say, that was impressive of you to react like that." Dabi revealed himself as he walks through the blue fire wall.

"Who are you?" Shoto demanded with a fierce glare.

"Oh no, not him!" Adora gasped upon seeing the man.

"Well, well, if it isn't the traitor Adora. Nice to see you again, but I'm afraid that's the only nice thing you're getting from me since you're about to die." Dabi said mockingly.

"Adora, do you know that guy?" Deku asked.

"Force Captain Dabi, he's also known as the Blue Flame of Despair. He's one of the most dangerous and destructive members of the Horde army, he's usual calm though he goes extreme with his blue fire." Adora explained.

"His biggest accomplishment was when he burned down an entire city by himself. Burning every single people in one move, no survivor." Adora mentioned in fear.

"Come now, you're going to make me blush." Dabi said sarcastically.

"You've hurt a lot of people. You and the Horde will be through!" Deku stated.

"Oh, big talk coming a little green bunny. I heard about this Emerald Knight of Dryl being a big deal and all, but so far, I'm not that impress." Dabi mocked Deku.

"But my attention is more on him." Dabi pointed at Shoto.

"Ah man, that glare you're doing. It's so fucking intense, using the same glare just like your dad, Endeavor." Dabi smirked with a little laughter.

Shoto's eyes widen with anger that he was just compared to his father by this fucking Horde bastard, he let out his anger by throwing a giant ice attack only to be met with the powerful blue fire pushing back the ice though Shoto doesn't make it easy for him.

"HAHAHA! That's quite the ice you got this, makes me curious even more to see what your fire you got from your dad is like!" Dabi laughed insanely.

"Shut the fuck up!" Shoto shouted angrily.

"Adora!" Deku grabbed Adora and threw her high into the air.

"For the Honor of Grayskull!" Adora transformed into her She-Ra form and goes down for a punch at Dabi.

Dabi saw her coming and thought to make things easier for the Horde by burning her away with his flame, to get ride of She-Ra once and for all, but he was surprised to see that Adora actually powered through the flame and barely has any burn marks on her at all.

He barely jumps out of the way from her punch that formed a crater, and then Deku comes in.

"Salineas Trident Smash!" Deku zoomed at Dabi to throw with a flying straight kick.

Dabi couldn't bring out his flame again to defend himself and was forced to move his body just enough to avoid a fatal blow on him but left a little bruised graze on his chest.

"Huh, that was actually pretty good. Not everyone can land a hit on me without getting burned, but it looks like you're the exception." Dabi was surprised.

"He's an awesome best friend!" Bow shouted as he shoots an arrow.

Dabi threw a fire attack to burn the arrow away, but the arrow explodes into ice that causes the flame to freeze up.

"Oh yeah!" Bow cheered that his ice arrow works.

But his victory cheer was short-lived when the blue fire kept going, melting through the ice and heading towards Bow as he panics until Glimmer teleports him away.

"This guy is really full of hot air." Glimmer punned a little.

"If you think I'm hot, I think you should check with this guy out being hot like his old man. Bet he taught him to be ruthless with those eyes." Dabi taunted.

"I am nothing like my father!" Shoto shouted in rage, sending another wave of ice at Dabi.

Dabi rockets himself over the ice attack and goes at the fire prince to have a little fun with him as he unleashes more of his fire into big fireballs, responded by making an ice wall that also fights back sending a big icy spike though Dabi dodge that with ease and move in a little closer to the prince.

Dabi waves his arms around for his blue fire forcing Shoto on the defense to move around with his ice to get away, but seeing the bastard's smirk is really pissing him and he gets angry again when Dabi kept taunting him about being like his dad.

"Shit!" Shoto mumbled angrily as he sends a spiky wave of ice.

"Man, you're really giving me the cold shoulder. Must be ironic with your dad being fire." Dabi mocked.

"Enough with your talk! I am nothing like my father! The fucker is dead to me!" Shoto shouted and throws more of his ice.

However, what he doesn't realize is that some of his ice attacks almost hit his friends.

"Shoto, cool it!" Bow shouted.

"Bow!" Adora and Glimmer yelled at Bow for doing a pun at a time like this.

"What? I was just telling him to stop hitting us with his ice?" Bow said.

"It's Dabi, he's using Shoto's hatred to his dad to make him attack so recklessly and trying to make him lose focus." Deku saw through Dabi's plan.

"What's wrong? Are you not going to use your fire? The very fire that was gifted to you by your sweet old man?" Dabi asked mockingly.

"You shut your mouth, bitch!" Shoto growled and unleashed more of his ice, but Dabi is able to defend himself against the attack with his fire.

"What's the matter? Are you really that afraid of fire that you would even be afraid of yourself? Just like how your mom is afraid of you." Dabi smirked evilly.

"SHUT UP?!" Shot fired the biggest ice attack at Dabi who clashes it with his fire.

"I'm going to beat you without using my stupid old man's fire! I will reject him!" Shoto shouted.

"Shoto." Deku can see that Shoto is really angry about his father, and he needs to do something.

"Oh please, you're nothing without your daddy!" Dabi laughed evilly.

"I will be better than him without his stupid fi" But Shoto was cut off when Deku suddenly punched him right in the face and send him crashing into a tree.

Everyone was absolutely shocked even Dabi to see that Deku just punched him like that.

Shoto groans in pain and looks up to see that Deku is walking up to him with an angry face of his own.

"Deku, what are you doing?" Shoto asked.

"You're pathetic, you know that?" Deku said which confuses Shoto.

"You have such an amazing power, being able to use both ice and fire magic at once that anyone. It's incredible, you can do so much great things with that kind of power to help many people including your kingdom and bridging the two kingdoms." Deku stated.

"And yet, here you are whining like a baby and only fighting with half your strength. Are you really that stupid?" Deku asked.

"Shut up! You have no idea what I went through because of my father! Which is why I'm gonna"

"You're going to what? Reject him still! What about you, what do you want to do for your own future? What kind of hero do you want to do with your power?" Deku asked loudly.

"Hero?" Shoto was puzzled, but suddenly felt like a flashback in his mind that shows him an imagine with his mom.

"That fire, it's your fire! Not his, it's like what Adora said! Sure, you may have inherited the fire from your dad, but you're the one using it! You're the one who decides what to do with that fire!" Deku yelled.

"Hey, hey, you're ruining my fun. Can't have that." Dabi throws a big fire attack that seems to have engulfed the two.

Adora, Glimmer, and Bow scream in fear that they lost their friend and the fire prince, but bright orange and red light appeared within the blue flame revealing to be fire pushing it back to Dabi as he moves out of the way.

"It looks like I needed a wake-up call. Thank you, Deku." Shoto said, now both sides are emitting ice and fire.

"You're welcome, Shoto. Now, let's show him our Plus Ultra!" Deku readied himself, standing alongside Shoto.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

Deku and the others had a bad run-in with Dabi of the Horde Army and it would appear that he may have a big grudge against the Fire King through Shoto, making him angry to his advantage only for the Emerald Knight to swoop in and punched the senses back into him. Now Shoto has let out his fire, hopefully it's enough.
