The cabin had a warmth to the air, when Avrail woke up, and she snuggled into Mike. He woke up soon after her, and she kissed him good morning. They were going into the woods that day to look at some of the animals Mack and Stacey had seen out there. Terran was starting to wake up and Avrail went to pick him up from his play pen. She sat in the chair in the room with him.
The path they were walking was covered with rocks. Avrail followed Mike as Stacey lead the way to the ledge of a cliff, where the animals were in the field. When they got to the end of the path, she saw the edge. Mike walked over first and when Avrail went over, she looked down. There were Deer on one end and wild hogs on the other end of the field. The wild hog was charging at a tree, and startled the deer. The deer ran out of the field soon after the sudden interruption. They headed back to the cabin after seeing the animals.
The next day Avrail and Mike were getting the car packed to head back to forks. Eric and Angela were already packed and waiting for them to finish getting ready for the trip back home. After Mike put the last suitcase in the car, they walked over to Mack and Stacey to say goodbye. They got in the car and Mike Started the vehicle, they drove behind Eric and Angela out of the camp site.
They were on the road for a hour, when Eric texted Mike asking if he wanted to stop at the next convince store. Mike replied that they could use a stop. When Mike parked the car, Avrail got Terran out of his car seat, and after getting diaper bag, walked into the convince store. Mike had walked over to Eric's car to talk to him for a moment. Avrail walked into the bathroom, and saw her cousin Daisy, who was turned into a vampire as a teenager. Avrail stopped for a moment, and was looking at her. Daisy looked up, and asked if she was from forks, because she thought they could know each other. Avrail replied that she was from forks and that her mother was married to Daisy's uncle. Daisy said that it was nice to meet her, and maybe she would see her around, then she walked out of the bathroom. Avrail walked behind her, going out the door after her. Daisy had headed over to a car parked in the parking lot. Mike met Avrail at the door and asked what she was doing. Avrail replied she seen her cousin and pointed at Daisy about to pull out of the parking lot. Mike looked and Daisy waved to them. Mike turned to Avrail and asked what cousin. Avrail replied that it was her step cousin and her mom divorced the man when she was a child, so he wasn't living in forks anymore. Mike said alright and asked if was going back in the store. Avrail replied yes and she still needed to use the restroom. They both walked back into the store.
After leaving the store, the drove behind Eric and Angela to get home. Avrail turned to Mike, and said that her cousin at the store was a vampire. Mike said why. Avrail then said that she was the vampire that died, she heard it from Eda when she was pregnant, and she was dealing with morning sickness so she didn't get a longer story to him. Mike said he remembered part of the story. Avrail said alright then sat back in her seat. When they reached forks, Eric and Angela headed to there house after waving goodbye. Mike drove to there home, and pulled in the driveway.
Later that night, while in bed, they were watching the television. It was a vampire movie, a comedy, where vampires didn't know there were vampires right after the change. Mike turned off the television and snuggled with Avrail. She could feel the static from his finger tips touching her side. She said that she loved the extra connection they had since getting their vampire resistance shot. Mike said he did too, then kissed her, and snuggled back into their previous position. She saw that the stars were bright that night and the highest one looked like it had been in that position the longest.
