Well hello! This is A new goal-fanfiction's new chapter. See ya next chapter.
Natsuki was baking in Orihime's kitchen like the other girls.
Natsuki was baking a blueberry pie using the instructions in her grandmother's recipe book, but then she saw the boys looking towards the kitchen as Choji stood in front of them:
"Ino, the boys can't wait to taste our baked goods".
"Choji, why don't you save some pastries for the customers?" Tenten suggested, grabbing one of the cookie trays from the table in front of Choji.
"Okay", Choji said finally.
Surprisingly, Sasuke walked into the kitchen.
"Senpai, can we talk more about archery?" Natsuki asked. "What made you interested in archery?"
Natsuki put the blueberry pie in the oven, and let it cook for a while, then took it out of the oven, and put it on the table to cool after closing the oven door.
"That seemed interesting", Sasuke said.
"I see", Natsuki said.
(Later)
"We made more money at the mall than I thought," Ino later told the others as they were leaving for home.
"That's a good thing, because now we can be called hardworking," Natsuki said. "Because of the mall, we didn't get any homework, so now we can go shopping and choose dresses for the prom tonight."
"Good idea!" Ino said, and went with Natsuki to the new mall.
(Later)
The girls walked out of the mall with their bags in their hands.
"It's unbelievable how hard it was to find the right dress," Natsuki said.
However, she was happy with the dress she bought.
(Evening)
Natsuki walked into the volleyball hall wearing a dark blue, strappy dress that reached all the way to the floor, and was open in the front, because the front hem of the dress was blue, and the hem underneath was light blue. On her feet were light blue high heels. The back of the dress had a dark blue bow at the lower back, and the ribbons of the bow reached down to her knees, and the girl had light blue bracelets on her hands, and she had painted her nails with light blue nail polish. Around her neck was a golden light blue necklace that Sasuke had given her as a birthday present. In her ears were light blue rose earrings, and on her eyelids was light blue eyeshadow. On her head was a golden tiara with white faux pearls and light blue faux gemstones.
The ceiling of the volleyball hall had decorative ribbons, and balloons, and in front of the volleyball walls were long dining tables, and the overhead lights were on.
In the volleyball hall, many young people dressed in formal wear were already standing talking, and Orihime's band walked to the front of the volleyball hall, preparing to play their music soon.
"Ino, are you sure this makeup isn't overdoing it?" Natsuki asked Ino who was standing next to her.
"Of course not. Now you can show Uchiha-senpai your feminine side," Ino said. She was wearing a light purple, strapless dress, light purple high heels, and her hair was pulled back into a ponytail with a light purple, flower-like hair ornament. She had light purple eyeshadow on her eyelids.
Natsuki blushed slightly at the thought, but then she saw Hinata, who was wearing a white and purple dress, walking towards Natsuki, and Ino:
"Beautiful dress, Hinata."
"Thank you," Hinata said.
Natsuki looked at her necklace, and touched it with a smile.
(Flashback)
Natsuki, and Sasuke were walking in the mall, when it was windy outside, and the rain had recently stopped.
"Natsuki, why did you want to come here?" Sasuke asked, looking at the jewelry shelves in the jewelry store, which were filled with bracelets, necklaces, and other artisan-made, rhinestone jewelry.
"Well, after the sales, there's a prom. It's the night of the sales. I don't really know how to choose jewelry for the prom. Proms are a new situation for me. And today is my birthday. My birthday is October 10th. My zodiac sign is Libra 10. I'm not terribly superstitious, but my horoscope for today said that if I choose a special piece of jewelry for a certain event today while I'm shopping, that event will be very special. I decided to try it," Natsuki said, choosing light blue bracelets, light blue rose earrings, and a gold tiara with light blue rhinestones and white faux pearls.
"Hm. Or a very special event?" Sasuke muttered.
Natsuki went to the cashier to pay for the jewelry, and then went to the mall's cafeteria to buy a sandwich and tea for lunch.
"Here you are," Sasuke said, sitting at the same table as Natsuki. "You forgot one thing."
"What did I forget? I'm not going to bring any rings to the party," Natsuki said, and drank her tea, then put the teacup back on the table.
"Here's the one you forgot," Sasuke gave Natsuki a necklace that was gold in color, with a light blue, teardrop-shaped rhinestone in the middle. The chain of the necklace was gold, and blue.
"Thank you," Natsuki said flattered, as this was the first time any boy had ever bought her a piece of jewelry as a gift.
Natsuki put the jewelry around her neck, and smiled, blushing a little. She was now really happy, and wished this happiness would last longer.
(End of the flashback)
Natsuki looked at the jewelry with a smile, and then walked around the volleyball hall until she saw Sasuke standing in front of the wall on the right side of the volleyball hall.
Sasuke was wearing a red and white tuxedo, black shoes, and a black tie, which made him look even more handsome.
Natsuki blushed slightly, and after calming down, she walked up to Sasuke:
"Evening, Uchiha-senpai."
"I see you decided to wear the jewelry I bought you to this party," Sasuke said after seeing Natsuki's necklace.
"Sure, because no boy has ever bought me jewelry before. I'm told that some boys think I'm quite boring," Natsuki said a little angrily.
"Or boring?" Sasuke asked.
"Let's just say I have a bit of bad luck with men," Natsuki said. Even though she and Sasuke were now friends, Natsuki wasn't ready to open up to Sasuke about her latest, unlucky love experience. It still pissed her off.
"Hm. Well, how about dancing?" Sasuke suggested as the band started playing, and the young people in the volleyball hall started dancing a waltz.
"It could be fun, so that's fine," Natsuki extended her left hand to Sasuke, and began to dance a waltz with Sasuke.
Natsuki was happy to be dancing with Sasuke, but at the same time she felt a little awkward touching Sasuke, because she was afraid of saying how she felt without warning, which resulted in her just staying silent.
"I guess he has a quiet side too," Sasuke thought as he watched Natsuki during the dance.
When Natsuki saw the others watching her, and Sasuke dance, a part of her wanted to run away, but she tried to be brave, and didn't run away.
"Don't pay attention to other people's looks, don't pay attention to other people's looks," Natsuki reminded herself, as she continued dancing.
